"Loved riding a motorcycle. That kind of thing didn't bother him. Especially In the military, where he knew how important it was to saving lives. That's that's what he loved. He Number of times got himself into trouble in the military. For that kind of a thing of being a little more adventurous than some Officer wanted him to be. I remember an incident in South Korea, where he had to take his platoon out. On basically, uh, war games maneuver and they came to her a stream. Which is flowing really quickly. They were supposed to cross the stream. And when Javid saw the stream, he he halted his guys and said, You know what? That doesn't look safe at all. Let me go out and check it and make sure it's safe for all of us being a sergeant at that time. Normally, you would Sign that too. You know a private or someone Jarod always lead from the front. It was always my boy's dead, my boys. He looked upon them as Young people that he had to protect. It was his job to make sure his guys were safe. So he afforded. The stream, but he ended up getting washed downstream. They all thought he was dead. But luckily enough, there was a Floating branch. In the water that he was able to cling to until they found him. And and took him out. But that's again. It was always a matter of him, taking the chances and not allowing His boys to be in the line of danger. Zest. Hui Wasit, just what he did. And Yeah, he ended up Mean twice deployed to Afghanistan. Probably the most dangerous area in all of Afghanistan. Was this area in the Kunar valley. This was the Place where Taliban. Would come in from Pakistan. This was the main road. And the Army had decided that they were gonna put a Kvasha on this. They had tried a number of times and then never successful, but they did put together this plan. So, Jared With his platoon. And Chris Cunningham, who was another sergeant. He was a sniper, and he had his snipers. So there was 16 of them altogether. Eight of them were forward observers and eight snipers. And they were tasks to climb. This mountain mountain was 8500 ft. High. To set up an observation post at the top of the mountain to view The crossing area down below in the valley so that they could call in fire when the main force a day later was to come into the valley. So in 100 degree heat and all of these guys carrying, you know packs of 70, plus pounds climbing mostly at night. They climbed Hill, 26 10. It took them two days to climb that now as an aside to that The night before they left to make this climb. I got a call. Very early in the morning. Got me out of bed. Get.

"Tell me about how I came down and tell me why this made the most sensible sides. Well, it was the best offer that the Lions got. If you don't count the Washington offer, which you know was more current draft picks than future stuff. It just depends on how you Your outlook is, um it. The Rams portion of this came about from some back channel. Um, type stuff. And you know it. Really Matt Stafford, his wife and want to get somewhere warm, You know, high school teammate and great friend Clayton Kershaw's out there in l A on Did you really just kind of came about through the back channel stuff? Matt Stafford put out there that the only team he wouldn't play for. Really is New England. Hey, wanted nothing to do with that, Patricia. Yes, subject Who could blame him? Um So there were several teams that reached out and put some offers on the table. San Francisco was negotiating during the week but thought they were gonna have time to get back around to it. Once they saw what the bidding was up to, with l A. Then they pulled out. But there was a lot of smoke on their mobile about San Francisco get involved. Just gonna bring that up. That was kind of the predominant people were all talking about the 40 Niners, and you probably noticed it by the way people were paying attention to Twitter during this time. Leading up to the deal getting done over the weekend. Almost all the local people that were down and mobile were all tweeting 40. Niners takes over and over again, because that's really what the buzz was all about The 40 Niners or the front runners? Yeah, I think the only person who had the Rams knew was what's his name of ESPN Fowler, Jerry Fowler, and he was the only guy I had that Ram's info. Anyway. The rest of this is there were other teams involved. New England put a call in. But once they realized that he wouldn't go play for that was gonna happen Theme. The Panthers got involved. The Broncos made a call. The Broncos called and you know they went high. I don't say they counter negotiated with the Broncos kind of said, Hey, here's something we kind of be willing to do. And the lines like here's what we want. And it was a first a third lock. Judy and I'm trying. Remember now has it all written down, but it wanted a ton. Lot and the Broncos. It was a nonstarter. So they just kind of ended it there. And that was that. And I know some people are trying to sell. It is they were heavy contenders. And there's some people trying to sell. It is trying to sell it is anything I'm just telling you what it Wasit. They kind of sort of made an offer. They didn't really want to give up Lock and Judy. They definitely don't wanna give up Pick number nine. Their offer consisted of giving up nine And a third And then getting Stafford and a second back. So that so the part from Albert Breer talking about flipping picks? Yes. So, basically, you try the first. In this case, the third, you get a second, right? And you get Stafford. Yeah. You gave up a first in the third. And you got Stafford a second back. That was the Broncos offer never went anywhere else from there. Well, I mean, shouldn't if if the other offers on the table were what say Basically, the Lions just kind of laughter that they were like. Look, the Panthers already have picked number eight on the table. So And without a foot back, so on, that's that's whatever. So this was not characterize. Because, like the way this has been framed by several media as the Broncos were aggressively going after Matt Stafford, that's not an accurate characterization of what happened. Okay, um, they called as any good general manager worth their salt, would they made what they felt like was Ah, um I mean, it was an admittedly lowball offer relative to what other people did, but they put it off for out there that they felt comfortable with, and went with that The idea would have been Stafford here for two years continue to develop lock and then after those two years, you would have a choice to make. He's locked, developed enough to take over or do we need to extend my at Stafford? And that was the idea behind what they were trying to do now. Ultimately, too many teams got involved. It drove the price up, and this is what happens. And so this is why people who think that there's gonna be some discount for two Shawn Watson are just hang up. If somebody's telling you that, just stop talking, just not talking to them. They do not understand football. They don't know what they're talking about. Going back to the back to where this is that the Panthers pick pick number eight on the table on. Then the the Rams started to get involved in this thing, and that's where it really started Taking off. There were a couple different connections back and forth on everybody kind of started talking and They both loved it. You know, Stafford love the idea of playing in that office. They like the idea of having a quarterback. They could. They could go vertical and that he would have to be in his ear. If you play like you did with Goff, the Lions were okay with the idea of getting Goff back is a bridge now they're gonna draft somebody, too. That's a bridge and Dan camels and and great home. Say You know what? We got two picks. Brayden obviously has the relationship with the Rams had been there before those what kind of guy that getting off. So you know, I think it just worked out for everybody. In the end. I think people were surprised by how much the Rams paid, but.

I really don't understand how AH, president who is actually starting to do Mideast peace deals. Our president who rebuilt the economy. How a president who got businesses going again brought manufacturing jobs back re negotiated, You know, two major trade deals. Was actually starting to push back on the Chinese who have taken so much advantage of us over the years. I do not understand for the life of me. And for a president who respected the Constitution. I don't understand for the life of me how he so many people could vote against him or hate him. Is the hate him the way they do They hate him. Nature. It is a very powerful passion. I mean, there's no there's no end to hatred. Nature was a bottomless pit, and there's no appeasement. You know, it's gonna keep getting worse. Love is the only thing that's gonna copy that hatred. So actually probably against and people that support Donald Trump. Should turn together and love one another and help each other, just like the red taught us. I'm terribly do that. That would want to see craziness. Well, you know, you know what's really interesting is is there so many people I'm gonna let you go? Run. I'm gonna leave. "And I know it's hard because it's not. The four left our bitch you tried so, But the fact is, there's a reason why I'm here every week and woke me up is because people want to listen to me. Now, quote the reason you're right every week is to quote Michael. It kills a segment. That's why you're under Hey, Jeffrey Jeffrey. You want to ask you, though, about Israel because Trump actually pulled off some amazing stuff there, which he does not get enough credit for. I mean, he moved the embassy to Jerusalem. Everyone said, Oh, my God, there's going to be. The Palestinians are gonna just get the uprisings forever. A second intifada. Nothing really happened and during his 10 year, Arab countries that vowed never to recognize Israel. Making treaties with Israel. My question for you is with Biden and that hard core left there. I think they want to go back to isolating Israel and promoting the P L O. I think it buying himself is not anti Israel. I actually think that because I think he's a different kind of Democrat than what's really coming up the far left that being said you can see by his actions since you've been in office. He's Doing what he can to keep the far left. You know, come. You're trying to give them what they need. And now the people that he's putting in charge, and the deal with Iran are the same failed losers that were there under Obama. So I think that he's going to also find resistance from not only Israel, but now Israel's new Gulf State allies. You know you could get besides Egypt who has already been an ally, but you've got the Saudis. You've got Bahrain. You've got a few other countries there that hate Iran and view Israel. You know what Israel's bad because they're filled with Jews. But Iran is bad because they want to destroy us. And suddenly Israel becomes their friends. And they're not going to be so willing to take a typical Obama crap with how they're going to handle the Rann by appeasement, And I think you're gonna see some pushback so you know, look like it's really Something that we need to see. His time goes on to see how far left he goes with this, but certainly it's a different situation. That playing field is different because now Iran is being isolated, and Biden has to determine how far he's willing to go to appease Durant's not this isn't 2016 anymore. Rama. Jeffrey Lichtman, the famed defense attorney, and and Geoffrey of we can plumb the depths of your vast legal mind. Uh, your thoughts on impeachment. You know, I was here a week ago, and I think I was pretty clear that I thought that impeachment was the way to go because I thought that Trump was, you know, not only unfit, but a danger to the Republican shouldn't be able to run again. I still feel that way. But I think that a week later, I've had a little bit of time to calm down and stop foaming at the mouth myself, and I realized that impeachment is really unnecessary. We've got a situation where the pandemic is still strongly destroying America, at least according to the far left. So the waste the week or so a week of all of our lives a week of of a Senate trial. On something that really has no future bearing. It seems a little bit partisan and insane. And I think that the far left of the Democrats are going to realize, you know, maybe this isn't something we need to do right now. Because while we're having Americans dying, the small businesses are still dying. Everything is closed down. I mean, literally everything is closed and you can't leave the country. If you leave. Leave the country. You have to come back and you have to quarantine for 10 days. If you leave New York and go almost anywhere you have to quarantine for 10 days, so I think that people are going to realize, you know, look as bad as Trump Wasit the time with regard to January 6th The country needs to recover. The country needs to push forward and going through this charade, which really is largely a partisan charade is just a waste of time. We need to spend their energies elsewhere. Jeffrey Way to go. So for those listening, I assume you're over the age of 80 beginning next week. It's 75 on Tuesday, the week after that is 70 over and school teachers, it seemed he seems to be saying. That's dependent upon the number of doses received. When I read articles out of out of Europe. They're telling me the difficulty with visor Madonna is getting this little glass bottles made little rubber thing in the middle there having their every supply problems because the whole system is not geared up. They're not scaled to do this on a regular basis, and there's only so many little bottles. Somebody could make it so many little rubber things to stick the needle through. Are you understanding of that? Of course I am sure that's life. Mm hmm. Mary And I thank you for calling. May you continue to have a pleasant day? And you too, And good luck. God bless you. Thank you. Thank you. Very nice lady. Let's continue with more as we knew. We have Alan, Nancy and Frankie and Brad and I read everything. I talked a lot of people. I think I know what's happening with the vaccine. But just the idea of taking a photo A snap of the Of the actual piece of paper. In case you misplaced the paper. You have it in your phone and at some point Maybe you're gonna be given some sort of a document or some sort of a A graph of one type or another. That will allow you to get on airplanes are many airlines right now that you can't get on a plane unless you got the vaccine. So this is some record that you can't really I don't know how big a piece of paper is. I think it's a about eight by 11. You can't be carrying that around with you all the time. So to heaven in your in your phone and a photo makes some sense, but we'll see what occurs. I love my country, and I think our country made a serious mistake and getting rid of President Donald Trump. But this is the first full day of the new administration. I wish Joe Biden well. And in a sense I could only imagine of Trump had been reelected. All hell would still be breaking loose the media right now it's simmering down. The media is acting as if they're part of the Biden administration. In fact, once in and commentary said this morning, we have to stand behind Joe Biden. When I watch they played the clips of the January 23rd news conference was Sean Spicer four years ago the questions before anything that happened, the questions the media Trump's press secretary four years ago, were angry, combative, not conducive to a relationship. The questions of Jen Psaki, who is the new press secretary for Biden yesterday was kind wonderful. The whole thrust of the media somehow is that we're back to normal, and many of those working for CNN are now working for their bite administration and vice a versa. Was supposed to cover the news and not be the news. Let's continue once again. We have the issue of the governor's interview I just conducted in which there's a shortfall of vaccines being delivered and hopefully in March that will be corrected. And in March. That's when AstraZeneca and J and J should come online in which case by the end of March, and we're going to be in good shape, in the meantime, need to keep a low profile. And the other thing is that I want to get your reaction to what happened yesterday in Washington with the inaugural My Chris Wallace of Fox News said It was the greatest inaugural address he's ever heard. Beginning with John F. Kennedy in 1961 has not. You gotta be kidding me. Do you recognize that Joe Biden is not well, and he doesn't look room. He doesn't look as he looked for years ago, is anyone saying that that may be an issue in the presidency? Course not. It wasn't about Joe Biden is by getting rid of Trump Trump Trump and lastly, have a nice note. I don't get letters anymore. Nothing anyone does. I've got a very nice letter here from Laura won't give out her last name. I'm sure she's a private person. Her zip code is, uh, her zip code is 45249. And Laura, I Thank you for the kind words in this. Uh, it was a typed a letter signed by her. I don't see these anymore. So, Laura Lives and 45249. Thank you for your kind remarks beginning. OK, under the serve the current circumstances I should say, as they Continue, Tony because we talked at the beginning of the pandemic. You know, when we were seriously pouring on Gui still our talk to us about how the mixology world has changed the the home mixologist has really come to the forefront. No, absolutely, Jamie I'm reminded of When I was a little kid on I would go toe my cousin Helen's house up on the lake, and she owned the breath so far. She had this beautiful Barker. And whenever her girlfriends would come up to play bridge, it wasn't which, like a glass of white wine or a light beer was. Can I make you an old fashion or a Tom Collins? She would have the proper glassware and the tools and the spirits and Garnishes and everything to create his One amazing cocktails to share with her friends. I love that, really. It's so elegant, refined, and it just You know it elevates the experience now. Jamie, I know you love a black good glass of wine. I do. I love him A cold, I P A. But there's So much more when you're able to craft a great mojito or a fresh margarita for your friends know it's true. No, I agree with you and and even if you're Mastering the technique of your favorite cocktail because you have more time on your hands right? Or you're crafting a signature house cocktail. Whatever it is, I think those that love and appreciate spirits have taken to their home bar or set up a bar or Gathered the best and the right tools and I think we have made for more impressive mixology at home, and I think there's something to be said for it like you talked about the elegance of it. But also the beauty of savoring it. Right. Maybe we've had a little more time to really dig deeper into the cocktail of choice. You name it. What has been your Most sipped cocktail over the pandemic, Tony Well, um just back up and kind of reinforce what you said. As you know, I have designed on market outside of Professional bar tool. Yes, I have them all. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, but we have seen such an increase in demand and sails on our bar tools online. During this pandemic, so I guess Somewhat silver lining. For our company, but course it It's uh you know what you were saying is kind of a theme. I mean, if I'm gonna make myself one drink, and especially if I'm going to share it virtually with you, it's got to be in a groaning I would knew you were going to say that and wait ever since years back. You taught us to make the perfect Negroni. You would be so proud to know that that has been the one cocktail at home. When I have had time when Jagger is down to sleep at night if I really wanted t O indulge, right if I wanted t give myself a little self care. I made a Negroni. I still do. And I honored you and I have to tell you, it was it is it? Wasit still continues to be so satisfying, Damien and like I said When you elevate that experience, I mean, sure, you congrats, old jam Jar throat. Fill it up with that. I say your ice maker makes in the freezer. That's all white and cloudy before the booze van, a slice of orange or whatever you might have laying around. And it's fine. But if you have a crystal mixing beaker and a long handed twist of bar, spoon and onboard strainer and all of the crucial moments in a beautiful crystal fashion glass, and you're able to Make some beautiful two by two crystal clear ice cubes in your troupe Cube, Ice cube maker. It's just again. It just bumps up that experience finally peel off swat but warranted expel those oils and perhaps Ratification. Oh, completely completely and and something to really appreciate Like I feel like it's slowed me down a little bit. I was able to really Enjoy it, and we all need those few minutes a day or however many you can catch for sure. By the way, my ice cubes are rounds fears, not cubes, hoping, hoping that's okay. Let's transition from a Negroni at home. To what I think another theme of the pandemic in the cocktail word world. Rather if I've followed you properly is from the From the mastery of a cocktail to the convenience. How has ready to drink? That's the tag for cocktails that are already in a can write or pre prepared. How has that changed the bar scene in your opinion? What we were doing battle cocktails at Liberty Social four years ago where we would Matched them. Bottle them, sell them with the glass with garnish in ice on the side, and it was It really sped up a busy bar. It insured consistency, and it was fun. It was, you know, kind of a fun experience to bring to the table and the guest kind of gets involved and Eyes. Interactive way should have been selling those than Jamie. We should have been ahead of this. Sure, but nobody saw this coming, but no it really you know it is Taking on a world of its own. I think it may be the fastest growing spirit category or drink secretary shirt. Okay, tell us what is on the horizon. I heard from a friend that you have Ah, global spirits competition in the works, and that was very exciting to me. So please do tell Yes. Thank you for asking the tag Global spirits competition. It will be held in man and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas the last weekend of October. How fine it Aziz. You know, I said as head judge at the San Francisco World Spirits competition for the past 11 years, 19 years overall as a judge there and love it well, you know, great experience fantastic competition, but I always wanted to expand it beyond just a bunch of us judging the spirits and try to bring in the end views or the consumer Toe also share in that experience. You were bringing judges from four continents. Had some of the best palates in the world to judge this competition. But they're also be hosted educational track where you can fit and learn from some of these experts in our fields could be spirited. Dinner's gonna be a big welcome reception. Absolutely. There's a couple of ways to approach that and We've been doing a lot of these virtual cocktail parties and what we do is we put together a kid and they were making the cronies, for instance, and that it would contain the mixing beaker Spoon on Hawthorne, a couple of fashion glasses. An orange and maybe even the spirits you can send. I mean, you have to be careful where you send those, but a lot of times we sent everything but the spirit. No. Everyone would get a package. And then we would pick a date where we would all sign into his zoom party. And I'd place um, Frank Sinatra makes him you ordered. And you just bring everyone in as close to being together. "Savings every month? I would rather put it away towards that, that thou, so that's easier said than done, And I see that a lot and especially, I think, as people go through stages, But I will tell you one of the keys to success that I've seen. That is like a You know, a common denominator and a lot of people who have been successful in saving for retirement and again. Anybody out there listening can follow. This is that People have driven their cars for a long period of time, and I've avoided buying the expensive cars are usually better positioned when they get to retirement. And I can. That is a common denominator. It's an interesting one mark, But as I see it a lot I fall into that trap for sure. I probably have 30 cars, and there's a lot of money wasted question. Yeah, everybody that I had a buddy of mine. Tell me one time, he said. So you really like that Porsche 9 11. I'd have to go use. I can't go knew because there are over 100 grand, so I'd have to find an older one. But at the end of the day he goes. So think about it. If you buy that car because you can afford the payment at the end of the day, we're gonna have money to fix it. Or you have money to put gas in it. And if the answer is no. Then don't get right. You get Dr it. What's the point you might want you might want to have a job. What's the point of that? All right, here's another one. What? You're in retirement. Would you rather spend your money on a vacation? Home slash dream vacation? Or would you rather save it for things like nursing home care or other health care That Z kind of a tough question asked me now. Me, I'd rather spend it. But I understand why we have to save. So I think those things go hand in hand, but for the game because you're asking, Would you rather I gotta answer it that way, but it when it comes to planning I mean, these are things that what we're talking about all day today, these air decisions that have to be made and you have to understand what the impact could be to your retirement to be able to make those decisions. I mean, I would rather do that. But I wouldn't make that decision if I didn't have the capacity to do it. So again, you know, that's why this is all coming back to what we talked about. Today. You have to understand what your current situation is and how you're planning. Dresses all these things to be able to do the opposite. Because you think about it, you know, cost of living. And so security and 2021 went up like 1.3%, so not much. They're not certainly the cost of living adjustments. They give you for so security. I'd be taken away by a rise and cost and Medicare. So it's kind of a wash it Wasit was for sure. So you think about that? One of the biggest challenges for retirees is if what if You or your spouse or family member has a major health issue, stroke heart attack, and those could happen at any time. Obviously, and then you think of cancer that will be more drawn out. And we all know people that have dealt with that horrific disease. That health care is one of those areas that we just can't afford to overlook. Oh, God. Yeah. Listen, I you know it was sad and it was again. It was a tough, you know, Month and a half, but I had three clients who spouses off son have passed away. And it was because of something that appeared that added, Nowhere was unexpected on all three of them and see these are things that happen. But the reality is, Is that what I'm starting to see and maybe the pandemic? Um, you know, had something to do it, but I started to see a lot more issues when it comes tol care costs and long term cast and needs of people of my clients. And you just got to be prepared for. We got to make sure that we address that in your planning. So you think about it? You think about health care? You think about taxes. Think about legacy planning. Whatever's on your mind..

Tell all that covert beautiful day for that It's going to be I spits out there. Yeah, Spencer, and it's gonna be a great weekend for it as well. So get out there. Um, You know, Dr Ray says sunblock is great, but when you use sun block it also blocks the rays that kill the virus. So you may wanna leave photo tiny little patch open so the sun can get him. I always go back and forth, you know, is it? Is it worse toe Put sunblock on or too much? I don't know. You know, because if you put sunblock on it blocks Those, you know the rays that killed the disease, But if you don't put it on, you could get it and get skin cancer. So I don't know. So I think, Dong I think, right, Dong Yeah. Alright, I hot record heat today. And if you're outside all you felt that man, it was like 90 something in the valley. Oh, boy. Let's get into it. Here we go. Look at the calendar, and you really don't think fire danger this time of year and you don't think it's January? These numbers look like we're in the middle of summer right here. But, Yeah, we're looking at those eighties and nineties and today we saw a lot more records breaking compared to yesterday. So yesterday Maria also broke a record topping out in the low nineties. Today it tied an old time. Hi. Coming in at 94 degrees. Wow. 94 degrees in camera. Right. Here's why that number is strange because it was 94. It might be 90 again over the weekend, so 90 foreign camera But on Tuesday The high in camera. Rio is supposed to be 62 degrees and then A week from today. Ah, one week from top day. Hi is going to be 57 degrees in the valley. The high 57 degrees. And the low 43 rain on Friday and Saturday of next week. Unbelievable. All right, let's talk to what my one of my favorite guests. We've had him on The show Billion times I love when he comes on, is the director of the Griffith Observatory. Is that his doctor? Crump, Doctor, How are you, sir? I am. Well, thank you and thinking about that rain. I think you should be going into meteorology. Hey, Thanks, man. I appreciate that might be more money in that, you know? Yeah, I'm not sure. Dr Weir. Dr. Krupp. Krupp is with us. We heard something today. That was kind of odd, and it's been news has been leaking out over the last couple of weeks. Then again, there are other websites that are reporting that this is nothing new. They were getting radio signals from the moon. It is the moment it's not our mon. It's one of Jupiter's moons, and it's got 79 moons. But this is the biggest one. In fact, this is the biggest moon in the solar system. It's called Ganymede and we have picked up radio signals from it before, and there has been another detection. But this is natural radio emission all kinds of objects in the universe. Emit radio light, just like they emit regular like that Arise Sea. Rate s so there's no way that it could be an old defunct radio station from a billion years ago. If it is they, you know, it's going to be a very bad top 40 list. I'm sure they know the radio light is really quite natural. All kinds of objects, including the sun. Shed this stuff. What's really strange about this radio light is that it comes as you said from a moon, which which doesn't seem like quite the right place. But the reason that's happening is that that moon, unlike most moons, including our own has AH, strong magnetic field of the Earth has a magnetic field, of course, and we're grateful for that. Jupiter has a strong magnetic field. But so does this this moon of Jupiter's Ganymede, and that's probably because it's got a liquid iron core inside of it, which we have to and that the movement of that iron that fluid iron helps create the magnetic field. When we when we see asteroids, you know, flying around space is that the result of a big explosion like a star exploding whereto asteroids come from No perfectly great question. And when I was growing up good question. Yeah, really? Is it? Well, in fact, though, Yeah, it's even better question because we kind of know the answer. We used to think that maybe it was this and maybe it was that like an exploded planet. Very popular notion. Um, you know, maybe 50 60 years ago, but now it's certain that that is just debris left over from the solar system, which originally was a huge Which cloud of gas and dust and debris that gradually condensed into the sun and into the planets that orbit the sun and into the other objects that are there and because of the way the objects formed and are distributed. There are places where the material really couldn't get collected. And certainly the asteroid belt, which is between Mars and Jupiter, so it's farther out from the sun than than Mars is. That that area just never could be swept up into up any other planet. And there's not really enough out there even to make a very good plan it there. If you've got all the asteroids pulled together, probably be less than the moon. And are asteroids. Is that a really dense material? It would be really heavy. No, it most of the asteroids are rocky material, and it's not even clear that all of them are the kind of thing you could easily stand upon. Some of them are probably sort of just barely held together by the gravity that the small object has, it said. You sort of think of it is that kind of an orbiting rubble cloud moat rolling around That's kind of it. We've traveled to some of them and spacecraft and, of course, has been tricky landing on him. But we've even done that, too. Wow. Now what happens when an asteroid flies into the sun Does the What's the What's the result of that? You know, there again, a kind of Ah, interesting mystery question because we've never seen an asteroid as such fly into the sun, it would. It's too small and so by the time it got that close to the sun and disappear, but what you could figure it's going to just burn up. It's just gonna Vape arise. What we do see going into the sun is coming. That's comments are also not all that big, but because they turn into huge clouds that are very, very gaseous. You know there's hardly anything in them, but they're they reflect a lot of light so we can see comets crashing into the sun. And of course, the same thing happened to them. They vaporized long before they ever get even even close to that. That sort of Surface where the light most of light comes off of icy. Hey, can you stay with us? I'd be delighted. Thank you. It's great. All right, Doctor Crop is with us. The director of the Griffith.

He would've if he could have, but he didn't. And that's my point is that if they think that killing the vice president's going to accomplish their goals, they don't realize that the Army has drones. A Capitol police officers being held hailed as a hero for drawing the angry mob away from the entrance to the Senate floor Wednesday as rioters smashed their way to the U. S. Capitol. Viral video. If you've seen it, it's pretty nothing crazy. I mean, yeah, it's frightening. And this Capitol police officer Eugene Goodman, he's scared. He's scared, but he's a hero. Well, he's one guy has this mom coming at it? At one point, he pushed one of them, you know, and then he ran up the stairs and he was obviously pretty scared. But he he drew the protesters away. We all make any decisions that have to do with you guys on the radio and with the ring of the company, and we all make the decision because we want you to know that where all responsible it's not just one of us. "Radio on Rollie James. And there's a reason that record is the second most popular Beach music song of all time. And, Of course, my Information's a little outdated. I don't know what's going on in the beach music scene today, but literally for decades it Woz. And if you're wondering what record beat it as far as beach music well, only one and that was Billy Ward the dominoes, 60 minute, man, But far as I'm concerned, Miss Grace, most listenable song out there and we're talking to Caesar from the times and you can join us at 8888765593. You know, Caesar. We're talking about whether they promoted that or not, And what's interesting to me is right before it. You little trust maker came almost at a nowhere a decade after you'd really been hot on the charts, and it does very well. It's a top 15 record nationally number one in some markets. You would think that Garcia would have said, Well, you will trust makers a great record. Let's go with that moment. Um I can't imagine what happened there. You know, my I'm wonder about that myself, But I can tell you just a quick story about little trust maker. We would in the studio, putting it together and George our lead singer at the time, he was singing it so pretty You know. So Billy Jackson, who was our producer, He went in to show him how he wanted it done and come and to make a long story short. That's Billy Jackson, our producer during the lead on trust maker Oh, man, all that That's a fascinating story. No, I did not know that at all. And it Wasit was It was one of the surprise hits, you know, again because here it is 74. You don't expect it. And then here comes in his grace. Like I say, just one the best records ever. And Arcia just just lays down. I don't get it now. Of course you will. Trust maker was the second biggest pop it But a couple years later, here comes it's cool. Which becomes a huge R and B record. What's the story there? Right. Well, well. How boy? That was. That was that was a surprise to us all because If you know, I wish I could really explain. How can I say this? I even listened to the stuff that we that we recorded ourselves and I listened from the beginning all way up to the seventies. All the stuff Had George's voice changed and had a sound of the group changed, you might say into R and B market. And it was a really surprised to us and it was. It was a good it was a big hit. A couple other things, too. Lady of the night. You know that That was that was more than money. Nicely. A, uh how can I say It was a record deathless. A lot of cannot say that can I put it nicely? Let you see a matter of fact, when that directed Lady of the night. Um, uh, if you know what's his name Quest, Love. He was a boy. He was young about 12 12. Not about 10 11 years old and his father, Lee Andrews, you and him were on the record. Talking before that we've started singing. Well, I was quest Love Suppose record. You made the first time in the record business man. That's great. Yeah, of course in Leander is a huge Philly name for so many years. And, you know, I wonder how many quest love fans have even a clue what Lee Andrews was all about, You know, with Lee Andrews to me two cuts up Willie Andrews. He was at the time. A cameo parkway when we came in, and, uh, Bernie Lowe, he looked, you know, you said so much in love destined exit records. He's talking to me. Andrews and Harvey Holiday who have not Harvey Holiday who, man I can't figure the DJ's name of the high lit With the Andrews manager to time and he wanted the song from the Andrews and we said, If we can't record it, nobody's going to record it. And at the time was so much in love came out. Howlett didn't want to play the song until they become when it became a hit. You had to play it. Absolutely. Yeah, but you guys wrote it. It didn't work quite like he had hoped. Interesting, right? I really like I said, I really didn't have that much states in this harbor. The first came out, but then I'm laying in bed. And like I tell my wife, I'm laying in bed and all of a sudden I'm here and guys Walking down the street singing it. I'm here, guys on the corner, you know, on the street corner, saying that like we used to do with the Dells and the flamingos this stuff before we got big and we used to harmonize on the corner, and I said this singing my song. You know, that was like food. Whatever. That was fantastic, Yeah. Yeah, That's uh, that's one of the great high is when you can achieve that, And it's so funny because, you know, yes, Record sales are important, and that's great and all of that, But there's just there's just a visceral high from knowing that you're the act that the kids are singing on the street corner that zbig big stuff. Yeah, it took us and it took us to the Apollo Theater way. Jacko, we would We did a show on our first show at the Apollo, You know so much in love. We were with moms Mabley and Jackie Message. Jackie Miles, maybe Lloyd Price. And somebody else is on the show. I forgot who I was. And we got booed off the stage the first day 1st 1st. Actually we're going to be them and their problems for a week. And when you've got booed off the stage at the Apollo board that you didn't want to go back out there. You know that when they had the real Scatman that came out with the hook? Yes. Oh, boy. Well, now, let me let me ask you about that. Do you think it's because it was more of a pop standard sound that they were expecting something else. Yeah, but she you know, had to stay you this to a lot of people, even even my wife. Now you know where she first heard the record. She told me she thought that we were a White act, which a lot of people thought that Because hobby holiday when we first did this with the Shubert Theater, think it was downtown we used to. We used to do a thing where we used to walk in and bring the closing. Bring are closing and hang them up and be sitting in the dressing room and the promoters would come in to see a lot of times He get me said No. Did not get his short when we walked downstairs. At at the Shubert and hardly looked at us. You said. Who you guys should we did times, he said. My God, is that what you castles, a White act? And that's what he said to us. Oh, no..

But police say Saturday night there were about 200 people here. And scarcely a face mask in sight. It could be a super spreader event, which we're really hoping is not the case. The guy who threw the party has been fined $1500. Others in Milford are just hoping it doesn't turn their town into a hot spot. It is very story on people just need to be safe and think about others instead of just thinking about world frustrated. I think people should be, you know, just following the rules, neighbors say last weekend wasn't the first time they've had a Large crowd at that apartment. They say it happens almost every weekend.
