Milwaukee Brewers Acquire John Axford From Toronto to Join Big League Bullpen
"Park. This guy shine as a member of the Brewers out of the pen. John Axford. Remember him back in 2009 was great in 2011 came out of nowhere. Well, raise your hand if you expected the Brewers to sign John Axford to the 2021 Major league roster. Considering he started the season as a TV analyst for the Blue Jays. I can't imagine many people are raising their hands. But here's John Axford coming back to the Brewers. He'll wear number 59. The Brewers acquire him for cash considerations. What got him back on the radar? John is pitching for Team Canada and the Olympic qualifiers back in May. So he hit 98 on the radar gun, which is about what he hit when he was with the Brewers. Yeah, I mean, who knows where this goes? He had a great run with the Brewers for a short period of time, but would not have expected crazy him to be back with the Brewers on a contending team here in 2021 going to be fun, that's for sure. 3 17 at WTMJ. Disney is added again with Jungle Cruise Now in theaters and on Disney, plus and experience, riverboat captain takes a scientist and her brother on a dangerous ride down the Amazon River of all the jungle cruise as you could take. This one is the cheeks but also the most thrilling. It's the African Queen on steroids as Dwayne Johnson find swashbuckling chemistry with Emily Blunt, calling each other Skippy for skipper and pants for her part of feminism. Disney even wades into LGBTQ, plus waters with her brother with admirable matter of fact, this The villains are a little cliche with Jesse Plemons, stereotypical Nazi and BCG can kiss the door who feels derivative, Um, pirates of the Caribbean. Either way, This is a fun throwback adventure, like romancing the stone filled with puns in a beautiful CG setting sailing on an Amazon stream but streaming on Disney. Plus I'm wtlv film critic Jason rarely giving jungle cruise 3.5 out of five stars.

Can Toronto Police Itself out of a Homelessness Crisis?
"Jordan heath rawlings. This is the big story. Leilani fara is a former un special reporter on the right to housing. She is currently the global director of the shift which is a movement to secure the right to housing. So the perfect person to talk about what's going on in toronto recently. Hello alani hi there. Thank you for taking the time. Maybe we could just start for people outside of toronto and people who haven't been following it. Tell me about how the city has been handling encampments of an housed people that have formerly at least existed in parks across the city. Yes so with. The pandemic came actually a significant increase in the number of people living in parks across the city of toronto actually across canada. But we're talking about toronto. So i'll keep. I'll keep my comments there. And there are a number of reasons for that but one of them was of course the downsizing of shelters because of the social distancing rules that were part of the prescription to Try to curb the pandemic and so you know. Big shelters became smaller shelters. So let's say there were thirty beds. It might have gone down to fifteen beds. Hundred beds might have gone down to thirty beds and with nowhere to go. A lot of people ended up in parks. There are other reasons as well. As the pandemic ruled on it became increasingly clear that congregate or you know settings where a lot of people reside were becoming Hotbeds of Spread of covert and so a lot of people. Were thinking wait. I think i'm better off even though as really tough living. It's actually some of the living in parks. I actually might survive in a park. Whereas i may not in a shelter and of course we all know. Shelters are really hard places to live at the best of times so so toronto. The city of toronto saw this steep increase in the number of people living in parks and many parks park cats and bigger parks across the city.
Analyzing the Boom in True Crime Content Across Media Platforms
"The true crime podcast audiences seventy five percent women. That's kind of an astounding stat right. Well i think as we are more socialized to know that the world could be dangerous in us a place. That's dr heidi horsely. She's a psychologist specializing in grief. Counseling and his co founder of the open to hope foundation or constantly looking at our bass being very aware of our surroundings nothing in allies at night. you know. we're very very aware that we be victim us. So i think that and i also think women are very social we. We're very connected. One understand other people. I think we tend to be very people oriented earned maybe in family oriented. Nothing arch but often slim our remorse. And maybe that harbors. Well like protecting our pack. It's an interesting thing. Because i hadn't realized the true crime audience was quite as skewed towards women as it is and i'm certainly a watcher also and i think it allows us to feel to. You know we see something that's like love based or brings us laugh films. Get to make us feel things that maybe we don't necessarily want to feel jeff as a man. What do you think about that. It's definitely a different experience. Being a man like i don't have to look over my shoulder in the same way. After a certain age. I think for most men. You're not prone to being a victim. And i can walk through a parking lot without fear which i think is a privilege that i have not fully appreciate until working with courtney and stuff on crime projects so being aware of that privilege i think is has been eye opening and i think putting myself in your shoes in listening to a podcast i would like. Oh yeah that's a red flag. You could see how a toxic relationship between jake and hannah or however you describe it. What can you learn from that. It's way easy to spot things in other people's lives in our own to you know so there is a real tool from that we can look at anybody and say oh. I see the red flag bear and is that bad from psychological even for listeners. Who are listening to this driving on their way to work or you know doing whatever it is we do when we hear a podcast is it because we are desperate to hear other people's bad stuff because our lives feel better. I don't think so. I think it's people are desperate. Hear really extreme tales because it helps us categorize things in our own life and maybe look out for things differently because when you're in the thick of it it's really hard to see out of trouble. Sometimes we don't spotted as cleanly in our own lives

What Are Self Check-Ins and When Should You Do Them?
"What is a self check-in well. I made some notes actually little more organized today. But basically a self check-in is an intentional meeting with yourself right. You're checking in with yourself. Your current state of being hard. You're feeling physically mentally emotionally. it's also an opportunity to reconnect with yourself reconnect with what you want. How is life going and what might need to change or do you want to stay the same. I don't think this is something. We often think of in terms of checking with ourselves or setting goals a lot of times. We think of what we wanna change right. I want more of this. I want less of this. We'll get to that in a second but one thing we don't often think of is when external circumstances change right. That are outside of our control. Like maybe you move and you're now in a new area or you know your company is like. Hey you gotta come back into work and you're like Like i gotta make a decision here. Do i want to do that. Maybe there are things in your life that you really like and you want those things to actually say the same. Maybe you want to continue working from home but external circumstances are telling you actually. That's going to change. Maybe there are routines and habits that you now have movie of morning routine you love or maybe you have a new way of eating that you're really loving but something else is going to make that a little more difficult for you to maintain that's a great opportunity to do a self check in to see. How can i keep getting or maintaining the things that i currently have. What are my current circumstances. That i want right so instead of thinking of things that you want to change. You may also have things that you want to stay the same. When should you do self check ins. Well that really depends. I think it's great to do one every quarter right just like you do. Maybe a quarterly business review. It can be really helpful to check in with yourself every quarter and this could mean taking yourself to a park or hanging out with some of your friends and doing it together. Something like that. I also think it's great to do a self check check in again anytime something in your schedule shifts and this may happen for a variety of reasons so it may be a new season. I know for me every time we have daylight saving time or something like that. The light changes in the morning. Or the evening that affects. Maybe when i can go on a walk or when i take my bulldog out right so those are times to do a self check in because self check ins are also a form of scheduling yourself right maintaining some kind of structure or routine something that routes you down into your

Sunnyvale is in the process of rezoning the land to allow google to build new offices and housing and just to know. Google is one of npr's financial supporters. And there's one more detail the city is looking at. This land is on the shore of san francisco bay which puts it right in the path of sea level rise sea level rises already happened. I we've seen about a foot over the last hundred years. Christina hill as a professor of environmental planning at uc berkeley. We're standing on the edge of the bay where a high tide is coming in. Hill says sea level rise will make these tides even higher by as much as seven feet by twenty one hundred. A little bit like it looks a little bit like the maze from Westworld but somewhat disturbing, but trying to think about that. Spoils for Westworld. Touch ID thing. Yes, yeah, yeah, it's like it's like if your fingers were perfectly round. Yeah? And you can get the full version of the APP if you want. Unfortunately, they can prompt you to get the full version. The apps from afraid that everything clever. It's GonNa do is immediately you for the full version of that but I'm sure I've. Apple has some kind of countermeasures. There things that you do in the little clip can be carried over to the full APP, so it doesn't just forget that you exist. It knows what you did previously with it, and of course it's not just our parking. It's for any kind of thing where you don't care enough about the interaction to become a quote user of the APP. You just WanNa, do the thing. I love this feature in principle. In practice given that we don't live in an all apple world. I expect you still encounter lots and lots of things that don't know about clips. We still encounter thirty pin connectors hotels right so I'm not optimistic about clips changing my life anytime soon but i. want to live in that world even though it's probably going to be long time coming. Yeah this I would love for this to be a success the way it was demo. D- I. I hope that sometime in the next three years. I have that kind of interaction the demo but I think it will take about that long before it will happen because. I think it will also be far from universal for all those reasons I mean look I had to use one of those parking apps couple of weeks ago and it and it was really one of the biggest. Vendors. Such parking meter things and the APP is a horrendous mess. Because of course it is, and it claims the support apple pay, but the apple pay just kept failing for no specified reasons why I had to enter a credit card and everything and it was just it was just had an account had to sign in all this crap. Again all parking meter that used to take quarters until a few weeks ago so. I I would go to the bank and get rolls of quarters every few months because it was just easier than dealing. All these crappy APPS but yeah, so in an ideal world when everyone makes amazing APPs, the take advantage of all that ballistic Jeez and they actually tried to collect information from as possible. They don't want you to create an account. They don't WanNA market. You and they actually just want things to go quickly. This will be great I hope that world someday exists today it doesn't. There were a couple of interesting things, said one in the state of the Union in one I believe in the keynote in the.

So I went through that eight that black revolution of hate in discuss and the death of Martin Luther King and the rise up of Martin Luther King, bringing hope to black people where white guy killed him so I understand. Your passion of this friend could have been a friend who was killed could have been your friend in high school that you grew up with. Me this morning. When I saw that this morning. It made me think of my buddies. I was kept on the wrestling team, and and all these guys were like my brother's an and I saw. I saw that guy and my man. I got really good friends that this could have been them and I think that's probably what struck me. Let me tell you a story real. Quick I'm graduate seventy five when a park high school wildcats during. Walk out to. I know that yeah, so in in nap time right seventy, five, seventy, six, the white guys in Black Guys WanNa Park. High schools start racing cars. We had a GTO's. We all are tutors. We had our. So we brought ourselves together and went down to to the best low race track I raise the fastest guy in Winter Park, high school Mike Roberston went to his house Winter Park, little little house with would that Kennedy on the wall, and felt paintings of a true black family, but I- racist guy out there in the studio and my John and we both broke out of our brackets. You know so. We both broke out faster than we could. Have you scheduled for? But that come? Lottery eliminated eliminated that and we don't have that right. We can't protests. Black protests all right protests in a positive way I brought. Appreciate you calling. He said anymore protests. They literally protests in Minnesota, and then they were all teargassed in that protests, and that's that's just a real damn, shame and same time, so we got an angel. Up Next Week Guy Jeff. Who's got a little bit of law enforcement and Fire Experience Good Jeff. How you doing buddy? What's going on guys how you doing? I'm doing great. How are you a member of law enforcement? Was I was so the reason I called is when I was twenty years old, and my girlfriend and I got pregnant with our son, and I had no job experience. Nothing had no idea what to do with life, and I said man I gotta find something now and I, said I I can beat cop. Six months. That's what. I'm not let you sound like you're a great guy. That's exactly what my point was earlier with Carlos. It's like okay. It's pretty easy to do I I can take care of myself. What someone's asking? The half? Two and a lot of people can just become a cop pretty quick. That's it and I was looking for health insurance. I was looking for a pension so I could retire early. I was looking for a a steady job. So at twenty one years old I got put through an academy. I got hired on up in North Florida big. City Department And it was very militaristic the entire cabinet it was almost like they're preparing for war. And got out on the street and I was expecting to deal with adults old people, young people and I was twenty one years old with no life experience, and it was the scariest thing I ever did in my life. Answer was man. Back in hindsight. Do you think it was too easy for you to become a police officer kate was. Far too, it was too easy in the sense of. Looking back on it now I was I was a cop for seven years, and then I left and Al on the firefighter fulltime firefighter up here in North Florida. Yeah, it's too easy. In the sense of no twenty one year, old kid should have the ability to. Do Felony arrests to carry a gun to handle these calls that I was not mentally equipped I was a white kid from that grew up on the Gulf coast of Florida I grew up in a good family I had zero experience with inner city, and all of a sudden I was working downtown. The streets in Jacksonville and I wasn't I didn't have a life experience and as Quick as a twenty one year old and you're out. You got a gun and and you've been to the academy and you made. We're were. I would think you'd be pretty much frightened every day if you grew up in a white community and you're in the black community every every day now, and it's unfamiliar to you and people are afraid of what they're not familiar with. Do you feel afraid every day? Afraid is is is yes. You're afraid on every call you go on, because anything can happen, you don't know who it is and that's the biggest problem with the training that police officers debt is. My Academy was set up so paramilitary in style like I said it was preparing you for war that when you're going into the community, and you're dealing with calls that you could now being you know this is now fast forward. Thirteen years I've been a firefighter up here for five years. Now you can talk down ninety five percent of people you can. You can look at someone you. Can you know going in there? Being a gunslinger is not you know we're not seal team six. You don't get to to handle situations like that, and that's the reason. I got out of law enforcement. Is thank God I got into a very bad altercation. With the guy was stolen a car, needless to say a gun to a big flight I was by myself. It was a white guy. Luckily, but it turned out to a really bad situation. My wife was pregnant with our second child and that day after that happened I, said I'm building this Ain't worth it I'm not getting paid enough. It's too dangerous. I WANNA. I wanted to impact the community in a better way. And I said I can switch over to the fire department I can keep my pension. I can keep all of my benefits, you know nothing happened and I said Don I signed up two weeks later, and I said you know she later, guys. I would have to think that'd be a good police. Officer has to be a calling of yours. You know you're not really doing it for the money, and and and you know you you to be doing it for the right reasons, but I think those kind of guys are few and far between. Would you agree or my? Every guy I worked with they were great gosh. I there was a few that word, not good that were there. There was a few guys that they would go out and they would look for the fights. They would look for the the real. You know they'd go out. And with that was their job. They wanted to work in the wealth parts, and they wanted to work the midnight shift. Is that was the biggest chance of getting into the action? and then other guys through just. Being lied to day after day by everyone you know from the little old ladies. Stop at speeding. That says she didn't know she was speed. You Know Your Your live through twenty four seven, and it just wears on you, and then you don't trust anyone. You think everyone's out to get ya. You take everything personally. It as An attack on yourself who you are outside of work versus you have to realize. Hey, you're wearing a badge representing your city, your community your department. It's not you so this question. Okay? At Twenty one police officer you did it for seven years, and then you switch to the fire department so when you watch like we saw last night and Minnesota, and you see the police officer with.

"I think so. I think We we've got a plan in should be a lot less work going into next year. I've already got the custom. He made actually just came today that he that was cast in the Czech Republic. And we've got some Drumstick key rings. Made for the thirtieth anniversary show so. I'll still need some new signage banners and that sort of thing but The the goal is to make everyone not only little better but a little bit easier to Do Logistically. We have a plan man. I just think it's funny. You could probably just slap some gaff tape on the zero of twenty twenty and just like sharpie on a one unfunny cool. Well I think this is a good resource now because The plan is and I'm hoping people are listening to this on either Saturday. May Sixteenth or Sunday may seventeenth Because we're recording. This Friday may fifteenth. We just wanted to this. Kinda came together very last minute Just to give people kind of an update and get a little of the The vibe of the Chicago show Now do you have any fun? Like before we move onto our other topics. Do you have any fun kind of like you know? Absolute moments of chaos in your thirty years of doing this of this things that went crazy or or anything that definitely the one like I mentioned that We used to have people shipped to the UPS store and then as soon as we unloaded my van. I would send somebody in my van over the UPS store to pick up all the stuff that people had shipped in. It got to be too much for the van so then we would wait until the truck was unloaded. Send somebody over in the truck while it exploded one year and it was a disaster. I mean my truck was gone for a long time and it was almost time we started at eight. Am The exhibitors? Were planning to get in at noon and the truck wasn't back yet and when the truck came back they said when they got to this ups store which one of the littles storefronts in law. You couldn't see into the store. It was nothing but cardboard and and they had received several palates d-w Parola a couple of other companies that sent pallets and the only way one guy working there by himself so how and he was in his mid sixties so to get the stuff off the truck off the pallet. They had to cut the plastic. Bring back Time which meant dozens of boxes that weren't labeled pal it had been labeled. Yeah so my truck finally gets back in their calling. They're screaming for me like and I'm used to being called five directions at once. But they said you've got to come over to the truck we can't do this stuff to the booths and I went over to see what they were talking about. And the twenty six foot penske that we had brought down loaded with the show. Infrastructure wasn't full to the TAB but it was full front to back about four feet deep just hundreds of boxes and a lot of them unlabeled or labeled with the corporate name. That wasn't the same as the exhibitor name so there was nobody in the building that could sort that out and call which was going to go wear accept me. I had to get the whole staff together lineup and have them grabbed boxes one at a time as I took him out of the truck Told them where it had to go but that was the last year that at ups gave up they. They wouldn't talk to me anymore after his job ship here anymore. Also so the next year there the rent they A second truck to bring stuff down but yeah there's there are some surprises now and then with an event like this of course. I mean doing it for this. Long man was your. What gave you this idea originally to do the Chicago drummed show like I mean. Obviously you're an author. You've been doing this stuff. I know you do multimedia stuff with repeats but like what what was the first thought that said I could maybe do a drum show. I there was no such thought it was started by a guy named Jack Hutchinson. Oh yeah the business called the Drum Hutch. Jack has passed now but he had a little swap meet And there were maybe ten or twelve of us there. I don't know if you'd even Paula's exhibitors which is participants and I thought it was really neat I think Joe Chiller was there randy and bunny were there a Jack Brand from Percussion Express Chuck SCALEA and a? I thought I had a great time. Drove down from Michigan with my van and sold a few books and so on and The next year I called Jack about three months before the day in and day to find out what the date for his next get together was and he said I. I'm not going to do it. I lost money on the thing. If you you can have my mailing list if you WANNA do it and so I thought had Jeez. I'm not a matinee position to do that in Illinois by the way it was in love's park not too far from where bunny lists so then the second year I I took him up on that I jet gave me his contacts and I noticed that it was gonNA take place in my shop in Alma Michigan so the second show was in Alma and I could see that if it was gonNA grow and attract more attendees and so on that I really should get back to the Chicago area so it went pretty well in Alabama so the third year I had a couple of partners and we put on a show. There were three of us together and we did it at the Hillside Holiday Inn and it was much bigger than this started to look like. Hey yeah this is taken off the this. This has possibilities And the partnership end of it however any any decision that was made we had to check with the other two partners and Yada Yada and then I kept after them about the date for the third show and they weren't getting back to me and so I finally decided to go ahead and do the third show by myself and We did it in downtown. Chicago the Depot Music Mark. The was the venue I thought that was a great idea. Because we'd be downtown and more people could get to a a dad had come to the show while man and the kids went shopping. Yada Yada it was a terrible idea. they load in and load out was in an alley and with freight elevators and nobody wanted to drive downtown. Yada. So that's what led to the fourth. Show her show finally being back at her back. But out of the Kane County fairgrounds so it it just. Kinda grew a little bit of time from from that little swap meet in Love's park and bent than just was out of control. Yeah now it's now it's gone nuts. That's cool to now and and I agree with the. Obviously you'd think in theory it will be really neat to have it in downtown. Chicago but for most people who've been to downtown Chicago you realize that it's just I mean even parking like if you WanNa Park your car for the day. It's like fifty dollars. I mean it's just bonkers so Well that's great. I never never forget that that year that it was downtown bill. Cardwell was was packing repacking in the alley and there just wasn't any space to do it any other way He called me the next day to say on the and Slack. I took my wife's camcorder. It was packed in the van but as I was packing repacking I had to take it out of the van and I set it down on something and There was no hope of course twenty four hours later probably ten minutes later it was already gone but God that's any it just was no fun Getting everybody in and out one at a time. in an alley through a freight elevator or last. No no I know it's It's a big undertaking and and I think you've you've kind of I think can be seen as like a template for what people should be. Now that you're really up and running and you know thirty years later you you have it down Pat So that's great. This is awesome so everyone can look forward to that What are the dates for twenty twenty one? It's the fifteenth and Sixteenth Way. We're always the weekend between mother's Day and Memorial Day. That occasionally leap year puts two weekends in there. But I got a new years. It's there's been just win when weekend between Mother's Day Memorial Day one year it was on mother's Day and I was told over and over again by hope parade if people's okay. We did it this year. But just a heads up in Do this again. I won't be here. I can imagine from this being my first year with a kid. How big of a deal. It was for my wife. You know obviously not that will go down but it was like it. Felt like her birthday or something and I'm like didn't isn't it? Isn't it his job? My son to be doing this obviously. He's eight months old so to come on. Now that's great really looking forward to it We are also going to talk about George Way. You said you had some more information that you'd like to bring to the table. Yeah and I I gotTA give Kudos to Ram to net. Not Do that again. Towards the end of this section. But Ron pretty well nailed it but a couple of things. I do want to touch on the rounded out and I would encourage people to go back and listen to rammed the nets George Way odd cast and also done by the hour. I'm kind of refer to some things there traumas I found really fascinating but one of the main things with George that I wanNA make sure to get in is his performance situation than his status as a performer and a percussionist like around mentioned. He insisted on being drummer. He is one of these guys like so many that you've interviewed are ready and willing review view in the future. That didn't have any other choice. They can just tell they're a drummer that's what they're gonNA do. And that's Georgia's a prototype of that kind of individual. He was forced to take piano lessons. Like Ron said he was in a very wealthy Upscale household. They forced him to take piano lessons. He always wanted to play drums. His parents wouldn't budge on it. Finally a friend of the family actually took George. I'm and help but a small drum for him. It was kind of a toy. Drama.

I I think I did on my instagram story. I was like guys a coffee machine. Learning how to use it every time I pull the milking is just what am bubbly and gross like it tasted or right but it wasn't like when I go to the shop and buy one and so much good feedback from everyone. Everyone was so helpful to the point. Where my coffees alike? They're on point my big good. I haven't mastered the art of Cafe. Oh don't worry you the amount that you saw the man that you'll googling like watching on YouTube. I'm sure you'll be great last night. It was honestly. I'm not exaggerating. It was one. Am and like. I always watch cooking demos and stuff in bed but I heard this. Make sure it's froth probably Blah Blah's equipment is like what this looks like bog together Levine. He's watching someone pulled milk into a coffee. I love it I love it. This is fine because it benefits me. If you WanNa make me one I actually. I'm a control freak so I like making my own but this is like a good segue into today's topic and I know we're going to keep it short and sweet today because we are on a time with foxy but this is a slight but I actually think he's can kind of hear him talk. That was pretty good. It's kind of like project runway but like a new version of it. It was really good so I I think it was a wake of quarantine. It's like whatever it's a write off. Wake who cares. Were trying to They they I think is always hard to tell because it's playing musical chairs with the with them but they think that they were trying to Start a new program. You know how normally you've gotta get Oregon Senator Compatible. But they think they're going to try a new program or you could do incompatible organs and you didn't have to and they had drugs that we're going to solve the problem and this guy was the basically a human guinea pig. God did it go wrong. I mean it's just awful so with presumably This trial will start about a month and we'll put it in front of a jury and let them decide. Why is it going to trial because I for precisely the same thing I? I don't think they want to admit to what they did. Sometimes he wanted to. There was a judge Seniors Alexander Williams. Who used to have he was in the settlement court down in St Louis boss for awhile and he used to have a saying that a trial. Oh means basically that a trial was one side is an asshole. And I'd say you know that makes some sense because if you're reasonable usually subtle. Yeah exactly you can usually resolved a civil case if both sides are reasonable but if one side is unreasonable or an asshole as the judge Williams would Colorfully say then they. They're not able to resolve. It has got to go to trial because somebody is an asshole they they don't WanNa recognize the how ridiculous physicians were. There claims that your client knew what he was signing up for this experimental kidney and the drugs and not mandak out. No they try. They tried that and they Without revealing everything on this I will tell you that it was quite the opposite It looks like they just not wide. Just awful how is your clients? Earning potential Before this civilian celebrity two billion not a celebrity but Somebody who was you know a good works and And maybe I'll have him even calling. Were doing the trial. We'll talk to him for five minutes. Speaking of that crowd maybe Celebrity crowds thing about Chris Brown. A little but there was a rapper. Like I don't know his name was like pot smoke or something like that. Smoke are back great and Jerry. I haven't I saw the headline that obviously while in trial didn't have time to follow up and they thought IT I. It was a robbery because he had tweeted out some photos of him. And another guy holding what looked like it had to have been forty or fifty grand in cash and he also tweeted out some photos of gift bags he had gotten because his album had just charted and one of the gift bags he showed. I think in an instagram story or a snap had the address that it was delivered to so the presumption was that somebody saw that and Chad. Jan Tried to rob him in the morning hours but now they think Jerry out to say jacket right now they based on the security cameras the cameras that they've seen that it was just a murder guys didn't take anything that just showed up murdered him and Jesus cries. Hey next time you're in Utah and you want to get caught up on the latest on pop. Smoke just turned to the bailiff with the red hair and go. Hey Man I don't have. I don't have my phone on what's going on. And then he'll give you the lowdown on POPs smoke. Hey I will tell you one thing that I've noticed about Salt Lake Z. I'm told they used to have the homelessness problem But boy you would know in the downtown area. I mean it is. It's jarring to go from Salt Lake to Los Angeles in a flight. That's two hours. You cannot believe this downtown. I mean they clearly have had a meth issue there like everywhere else but they have solved at least seemingly. The homeless problem makes I've ever seen I've gotta tell drew about that to having do a little bit of investigation as to what they're doing right. Yeah I think they're just running their city and if you don't run your city we Los Angeles has a little bit of ad. Don't ask don't tell when it comes to running the city a little bit of a hands off approach to running the city and when you do the sort of hands off approach to running the city whatever it is that you don't want to quickly proliferate you know if if if a winnebago or camper moves into Venice beach starts parking it on this on the side streets and guys start living out of it. If you don't get the first one there's going to be fifty inside five weeks. That's just the way human nature works. So you've gotTa Kinda nip it in the bud and they don't nip anything in the bud out here they'll nip you if you don't have a front license plate that. Oh yeah that narrative of their license plate. You're you're that they're very aggressive about but if you WanNa Park your camper in front of some three million dollar home in Venice and deal meth out of it..
