"It's just been. It's been phenomenal now before we even get into that right. Mikey is a serial entrepreneur and before he's built this accessible business with private label. You've had other businesses that actually haven't worked out the way that you expected has another facts. So let's talk about that because you actually had a food company a curry attack. Hurry food company. Yeah i curry in once again. You look in your life from the time it was one of the. I was working in a restaurant. A thai restaurant and everyone was complaining about being able to cook food at home. And i was like what's going on with this and i said this may be a big opportunity so i worked with Some manufacturers in thailand. Right outside of bangkok in a city called joan burri where they do a lot of food manufacturing. We created the first package. Thai curry sauce ever to be sold in america and this was back in two thousand six and man. I thought i was. Like i thought i hit a home. Run here and you know. I was like you know i was balling full on a budget but still like i thought it was just like the coolest guy ever with this because i'm in like all the newspapers and media cooking on tv. I'm in whole foods and all the stuff and then like two thousand nine two thousand ten hit and i think a lot of us went through a lot there and when i tell you got wiped out like mega bank account you know credits gone. I'ma borrowing money from my mom and grandmother you know like and that's when i'm in my early thirties and you don't want to call your grandmother in your thirties and be. Hey grandma can. I borrow some money like it was. It was rough. So how did you get the money to to create that company like what was it loans. Was it borrowing. was it. The crowd funding. I had actually been working like absolute crazy for the previous seven eight years. Just china save every dollar. I could basically was just bartending and working in restaurants while trying to find that big idea. I didn't wanna get into corporate america. Which i love that because most people would automatically assume it's privilege you know when people work hard and you save and you say you know what i take that extra shift. I did that extra hour. Maybe i didn't go to the club. Maybe i didn't buy that car. And i saved to for my idea. I mean it wasn't a great idea because they work. But you did what you had do. And i love. That doesn't mean it wasn't a great pop like you should've yeah. I wasn't prepared i wasn't. I wasn't the entrepreneur. That i am today had gone through all the failure and i hadn't you know gone through this hardships of like member. One point i actually thought about it. I didn't put it in the book. Was you know there was a point. I literally was so stressed out about finances when everything just went down that i didn't sleep from three straight and So when i started doing a couple of other businesses. And when i got into hair. I said this is it. I'm not making these mistakes. You know. I'm a different personnel different entrepreneur. And i think that's something that a lot of people don't realize that when you fail in business that's a stepping stone towards success correct right because most people don't talk about their failures but every entrepreneur. That's been in here or you. You know they've. They've definitely failed in a lot of things. And i usually say hurry up and fail and get it out of the way and learn from it. That's a great experience and then then you can start talking. I thought i remember that car. And then hurricane sandy hurricane sandy hitting and not only that one of my employees pull the vacuum off and then the vacuum fell over hit. Somebody's car and they had it was. It was all bad and it was. It was bad. Now let me ask you this. You talk about this in your book fearless beauty and do you expect your friends to help you when you start a business and should you expect them to help you in buy your product definitely not do not start a business because you think your friends are going to support you. This is not going to happen. Once your brand becomes popular if you can get it there then all the sudden everyone wants to be your best friend. Everyone wants to buy from you when you first start off friends and family. I don't know what it is. You know we talked about it and my hair business. Facebook group all the time. I have thirty-seven thousand entrepreneurs industry so largest group on facebook that i've posted in every single day for eight years straight multiple times a day and we talk about these topics all the time. And you know people get in there and they get frustrated in there just a call you know i started this and my friends were hair and they're not buying it and my family's not wearing hair they're not buying it and i said look and then everyone kind of knows this is like this is common. It's not just inherently but many industries. It's very hard to get family and friends support. I just don't think because most of them have never been an entrepreneur that the don't know the struggle of entrepreneurship in how difficult it is. So they really don't understand at the level that we understand as business owners. We understand how difficult it is and just that little bit of support and go along way so you know. I think it's real important to be able to support your friends and family. But it's just so hard to get with mike marais when we come back. Don't move is the breakfast club. Good morning morning. Everybody is tj envy. Angela ye shall. I mean the guy. We ought breakfast club. We have a special guest still hanging out with us. This is angeles partner when it comes to her hair business. Making marandi also has a best selling book e now mikey then you were talking about entry into this business and it has been difficult even though black women are the ones who are buying these products for us to actually own these stores and have this direct pipeline to get the hair. So can you discuss that yet. You know what's made us. Successful is the supply side in building the relationships. There's times where you know pretty much every day. I'm up at two three o'clock in the morning working with overseas my my manufacturing partnerships that i have because i'm fighting tooth and nail for every penny because it's going to end up being if we pay more our clients are going to pay more so we want to have access to the best products and everything else for clients and i think it's so important for them to get access to because it's it's not easy especially with the pandemic for the last year. It's been it's been really crazy with a lot of the products So that's why it's it's been really important for us to focus on making our clients. Great with great supply education. I think is something that is absolutely crucial in our business connections though like for somebody. That's like okay. I wanted to do this too. And i know you have your facebook group at thirty seven thousand entrepreneurs in the hair business people wanting to be in the hair business but how does a person like how did you get connected. You know as we started getting bigger so as we get more clients are buying power gets bigger more people find out about us overseas and we're really focused on working direct with real manufacturers so in the hair industry you know. There's there's a lot of people that say they're manufacturers overlying. Just because you live in china in your china based business doesn't mean you're the actual manufacturer most of those people are buying from the manufacturer and they're more of like a marketing company. So what i do. Is i go overseas. And you know i've met people were like. Oh i'm the manufacturer. Okay cool. i'm going to actually be in your city. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna i'm gonna be there and we're going to go take a look and actually i can tell you guys a crazy story. One time i knew these guys. I wasn't sure i was doing business with them. And they said there manufacturer they seem legit and i actually went to the countryside of china. Not a comfortable place as as an american are just really anyone to be honest. This is eating bugs and other stuff for lunch with them. And it's just it's kinda crazy. And i swear they had their sign up and i think it was. They were not the manufacturer and depending on what guests bring. Maybe from another country someone like myself. They change the sign out at the place. I think it was like this. Fake comment on kind of like a fake manufacturer kind of deal and just they have their own relationships. But we're out of that now. I mean our our relationships. Are you know mazing. That's the toughest thing like Even with a so we do close we do merch at the car shows or merch wherever we go but trying to get that connection to get is almost impossible right because you're speaking to somebody you don't speak the language like There was one guy from india that was given me great prices and Thank god physician's assistant is indian. So i just asked. I was like hey. Can you speak to them for me please. And she was like the pretty much anywhere scam they were gonna get you But you don't know how many people get scans because you know as a language barrier you dealing through emails you think you get a close in the closer you get. It's cheap you know so. Thank god you know. But you have to ask. You can't be afraid to add. That's what i realize. Sometimes i have too much pride but now it's just like even if i have a problem with something we can. You guide me here. You know it it just you just no need to know people that know. It's not a problem ask. I asked all the time. And there's a lot of things that i don't know who if you're still looking for that manufacturer of clothing make sure you.

It's not even a political choice. It's just laziness they hear. Rumors of the news takes years and years for them to get. It's like vhs. Movies used to be after leaving the theaters. I mean that's how. I always felt when certain independent movies would come out total wisconsin. High school it'd be like la new york first and then you'll get it. At some point slowly trickle in three decades later. But now i don't know the movies are democratic. I guess everything's coming online now. Cinderella stream shutout the witch cinderella. If you're like our age you had to watch those old shows. They were inescapable. They were on other networks. To and now i feel like people really don't have that like why would people know i love lucy. Now where does that air. Yeah that's true. There's the the level of the south just totally lacking well. Why would they watch that when we have Wanda vision exactly just that provides the nostalgia. I guess i should be grateful for that reason. Yeah that bonn division sorta gave you a glimpse into those areas. I thought it a little cheesy overall but well it's supposed to be cheesy but like elizabeth olsen put her back in india roles. I think we've discussed this one before. Sorry that's i think no. I love lucy. Aaron currently for the kids is what everyone thinks. Nicole kidman looks like lucille ball. You know what. I have to say after renee zellweger as judy where to me. She did resemble her enough. I'll just allow anybody or like shirley's therein as megan. I think that's going to be the joke she makes. I do actually want to shout out her doing very well. This season on legendary. I think last year the comments were not on her side. But this year they fully come into their own as like what you expect from these panels since we've seen like idol right. She sort of the paula raw. She's nice but she seems to have done like a crash course also on voting like i don't know if she was like you know sneak into the ballrooms or lamey was showing her some vh s.'s. She knows better terminology now and even clocking when people aren't doing what they're supposed to be doing in performances. Oh that's right. Say on the new season from what i've seen so far. The camera work is so much better. I felt like they kept swinging behind polls too often. I felt like i wasn't in the action sort of outside the action. So i'm glad they figured that out. There's also obviously because they filmed it during covid but it works out better because the stage is positioned so much better. They're shooting in la so it's a difference space altogether but y- the camera work is excellent so and this might mean me. Get leo me back on the show which was a such a pleasure but actually our guest today speaking of legendary my god yes speaking sitcoms. We're getting that classic sitcom vibe again. From the up. Shaw's on net flicks starring. Wanda sykes is our guest today. We don't deserve as a human being into the standard community. The world itself. Just everything i love onto so much. She's my favorite stand up. Comedian of all time She should she should name her. Show wanda vision. That marvel way pursue her black lesbian woman. In this year. I would love to see it happen. Should call it. Marvel's wanda vision. Things marvel's wanda vision to trick the girls thinking it season. Two and silence. Your nails season assist season desist. There'll be nothing nothing at the door. i'm sure she will love all these suggestions. Also speaking of lesbian comedians. Ellen show is canceled this week so we don't talk about that so many layers feelings about this i find i don't resolve any of them actually and The la times is feuding with the alleged creator of flaming. Hot cheetos There's a scandal in the news Good scandal particularly on the heels of a bio-pic sort of lionising this person but by the way bio-pics among the least historically accurate manuscripts. We have generally speaking so i shouldn't be surprised. So.

"Better us when it's too cold to go out to ICI to make it out of the driveway. Where do you go to find? Just the right movie just book just the right show to binge pop culture happy hour from. NPR can help you keep warm and keep up at the same time. Join your nest twice a week on pop culture happy hour. Let's get back to Terry's conversation from earlier this year with actress and stand up comic. Wanda Sykes her elitist. TV comedy special titled Not Normal is now streaming on Netflix. So let's talk about how you became a comic. You start working at the National Security Agency. See I think you have like top security clearance and you were working as a procurement agent. Don't have that right. Yes top security clearance and I Was a contracting specialist sore or procurement officer. So what does that mean bought stuff basically anything from you know I guess surveillance equipment or something to office furniture Whatever you're not service the agency so whatever someone needed they would you know Sinden Purchase order or or. If it was detailed I would get Drawings or blueprints and and would go out and price it and Deal with the contractors to you know to do the job or bill whatever. The piece of this equipment is that you know that was required. What was the security clearance process like for you? I'm thinking a lot of comics when they were young would not have wanted to put themselves through Pro Pro probably would not have gotten security clearance well but you know I come from a military family my dad. He's retired colonel own army He worked for the. NSA too didn't he well. He more of the Pentagon my dad. Okay okay yeah so I mean I I. I was never a bad kid so my my yeah. I had a clear pass it wasn't it wasn't a problem getting you know getting Getting a clearance. The only thing I think I'd be I smoked weed in college. You know and I was just honest about it and And he was like all right. Don't do that again. I'm like all right cool and that was pretty much it. So how did you think of going into comedy and leaving your job at the NSA. I mean they're very different professions. Needless to say okay yeah I always loved comedy. We watched a lot of comedy at home growing up You know we had all those great variety these shows MOMS Mabley was you know still is like my hero Remember seeing her own doug the smothers others brothers comedy hour and and so so comedy was always ended in the in the background and I just discuss bored at work and I I looked around and as like this cannot be my life for the next twenty plus years I I need to be doing something else and there was a radio station local radio station. They were cores. Light was sponsoring during a talent show and comedy was a category and it just hit me like you know what I should write. Some jokes never been comedy club. didn't know any professional special comedians and a new some Preachers we a lot of preaches on our family. You know they're performers so so I said Okay I uh-huh going right right. Some jokes and I did and I auditioned. Then they put me on the show when it all started from there. I fell in love with it so the first time you were in a comedy club performing. What was your material lack? Oh God it was basically doing an impression of what a stand up comic. Does you know like it was just generic jokes. I think I did a joke about The auto shade remember criminals. Those Big Sunglass cardboard things. Oh your your window you put your windshield. I was reading it in and it had instructions on on the side of it and I'm like who really needs instructions for this because you know it says make sure you remove it before starting your car and I'm like who who needs eastern new needs that WHO's driving around ninety five with the you know but big sunglasses in the window Because it covered covered the whole windshield. Like you wouldn't be able to see anything. Yeah Yeah okay So some of your material now is Is is really very personal and some of the things that women are reluctant to talk about you talk about onstage. For example going through menopause having having a belly in part. Because you're going through menopause. You've even named your belly esther rolle after the actress. How did you decide side to do that? you know it was like when it popped up as I. Oh my God look at this this this fat role I have right here. Where where'd that come from? And then I just started give I just gave it the voice one day. You know we were. I think I was ordering food and as I I should get a salad. I just picked looked at my gut. Now's it was like I want some French fries. Okay all right you're right and I just I just would have conversations with my with my with with my gut and my friends would crack up. I think the first time I did I was with my friend Kim Whitley and she She was a C.. He just died laughing. She's another convenient. She died laughing and Estimated French fries and I said and as an accident they don't they don't have fries fries on the menu it kills. "The high it's it's Ellen DeGeneres welcome to my podcast. We're GONNA listen to some of the best moments from the show and it's GonNa be hosted by four executive producers that I love happy be listening on Today's episode of Ellen on the go renee. Zellweger makes an entrance on the ellen show to rival every entrance of every guest over over the past seventeen years Simon Cowe gets caught in a lie detector Game Wanda Sykes Kids Homework has kicking her but DAX Shepard guest host the show and doesn't Awesome Job Plus Ellen on surprises in American Ninja Warrior with a million dollar check and her own Ninja Warrior with a trip to the ER rut row. Welcome to L. and on the go. I'm Ed Glavin Kevin. I'm Andy Posner and Americana link all right. Let's start with Benito Egger. Okay and then what we gotta get into designer of it all but let's start with renee. Zellweger Arnaiz had not been on the show in four years. She had not really she should took a six year hypothetical from at least on camera she did work work as an actress as an actor voluntary and she won't stuff and she wrote stuff and she had a lock on but she just she just she stepped back a little bit and so so huge she was so huge. Jerry Maguire Jerry Maguire and so she does this movie which is called Judy about the life of Judy Garland and let me just say before. She does this movie this summer if you haven't seen on Netflix the show what if is a show that she stars in and is incredible. It's terrific and she is terrific in it. So that's the first time I go oh. She's back wasn't Dan Ed Glavin comes in and says you know I love Judy. Garland obviously sleep. I mean he said. Did you know renee. Zellweger is doing a movie where she plays Judy Garland right little known fact. Yeah Ed Glavin has one of the most extensive collections of Judy garland memorabilia of anyone anyone west of the Mississippi. That's true true. I mean I'm a film history buff. We all know that it's it's. It's you you but but yes but the judy thing I popped in his office one time when he was in here and he was dressed headed toad Sir Labban Glavin. Oh has the Ruby slippers listen. I think it's impressive. I was so blown away by Ellen was raving about Renee Zellweger performance as Judy garland before rene was ever here which honestly I didn't know if Allen was go that movie oh I didn't think she was. I didn't think that we can move and she came in just blown away by it. Well it. I think like like me. Ellen has is a There's just like a whole where some film history should have been like. We both always is but that's about it. We just know that you're right and so I think Alan learned a lot yeah and then of course she raved about it when she recommends something to us ninety percent of the time you go. That's been credible. Ten percent of the time you go that was great but it was really sad but so I felt like I had to watch it because she loved so much and so I did and of course I watched it after Rene was here but but she blew my mind yeah first of all the torture on our show tortured life that Judy Garland had light like movie studio execs and our own mother like giving her diet pills when she was fifteen and just a life just tortured existence that she led and Renee Zellweger playing Judy Garland at the end of her life was amazing. Yeah we're GONNA play this clip in why we played like all of you to think about who you would like to play you in the movie of Your Life Control the clip and start thinking longer but I just WanNa talk to you about how brilliant you are and then I'll dance with the after that. It's it's good to see you. It's it's been a while this. Is Your first talk show in a long time two years yeah you took some time off. Yes I did what did you do. You took like six years off you now. It sounds more leisurely than it was because the can't be idle. I handed work so I was working. I just wasn't working in front of the cameras by design is is what if the first thing you did in a long time. Yes I saw you it it. That was fantastic. Thank you judy before or after what if I did duty and then I as soon as I got home. We went into what if what if but that was a fantastic show to your evil it was. It must have been fun to play yeah so much fun. Yeah I would never say that but ammon GUMRI would yeah yeah. It was really fun at the script every day and night. She says what so all right so judy so people don't even a lot of young people don't know who Judy Garland was. She's as US Liza MINNELLI's mother she was in wizard of Oz and a lot of people really didn't know 'cause portion. I watched it together and I just can't rave about you enough. I mean you are very absolutely absolutely brilliant as Judy Garland that must be so hard to take but because Porsche hadn't really heard the whole story she was like. Oh my God that's so sad and a lot of people don't know it's about it would just I. It's a time of her life that people don't know so it's the end for life the last maybe dear for light and she did a series of concerts in London and yeah it a lot of people think of it as a tragic part of her life but but I think in understanding the circumstances in context we can really see just how extraordinary she really was not just with her. God given talent but with the things that she was able to overcome in order to continue to perform on that level I mean really remarkable. I mean one in a million yeah I mean I think people don't know you'll see the movie and how she became addicted to drugs that was not her fault and she didn't have any help along the way she was abused used in so many ways by her parents by the system but you sing. I mean you can always tell when somebody is lip synching in a movie and I turned a portion. I was like she's singing. This is like she's actually singing garland songs and so will you known as a singer before this well not like that you know this different thing that that scene right there that stagefright seeing that was real real audience at the Hackney Empire where we filled it and reprinted director. He was just determined that this was going to be an authentic experience between a performer and an audience but it was just and then how did they cause. You looked just just like what did they do to alter your face to look like her because you looked exactly like her. Thank you thank you what we started with that fantastic wig right because you guys fabulous all right great wig and then they they did a few little tiny prosthetics won't mention t because they don't want you to look for him if you don't see him and good and we did less is more more we started about pilot and everything on and then we started to extract and yeah make it as minimal as we could and then you put on some aging kind of makeup was hilarious because the end of the shoot he's like okay. We've got thank thank context ready. Got Everything Guy was saying and I said Yes yes. She didn't put you didn't do my lines and and he looks at me and he said so. We haven't oh that feels good. It was it was great yeah. Yeah No. It was good that we had an authentic representation of the fatigue. Yeah yeah sure yeah because it must have been exhausting to do that. How long did it take for hair and makeup less time was shown on. Did you know you can make money just by taking online research surveys. Don't waste your time with those surveys. The clerk circles on the bottom of your receipt. Those are a waste of time. You're not winning that random drawing and you know it to get paid paid for your opinion..

Netflix has been coming through with fucking diverse it, hey programming. I agree. I am like so proud of them. It's the. Fuck in central park. Five a diversionary movie second, Wanda Sykes Allie, long and Randall movie, high ratings, eighty six percent, rotten tomatoes, all the snaps. It's on our girl. Michelle toe is a standard starring Michelle Buteau who's been on the show. I've been to her house. So I she's popping up on every everything I like she's on so many things. She's also show review of the first wife club. Oh, yes. That's right. I heard about that. They're restarting it from where it lost loved off. But like a is the remaking. Isn't it would black ladies with Jill singer? Jill Scott Jill Scott's. Yeah, I love it back to wonder psych. So good. And I also I was that the one came out the same weekend as when they see us because for yes, it was a great pallet. Cleanser when I needed to take a break, I have to tell you, I haven't watched it yet. You're with. I'm one I'm with child into. I watch recently, I watch the duck. Yeah. Yeah. I saw the documentary. Awhile back to the I feel like I need to take a break before since I saw the real shit, you know, since you saw the documentary, let me get this corner, but more, but documentaries a great primer for that TV's for the show show. Just goes like into even more emotional character depths and just like the humanity of it more. So I hear you but it's such, it's a really good primer. And something to that. They mentioned that the central park five mentioned that their story. No one was even talking about their story. Like nobody was exonerated. But thank God for Ken burns, because he put their stories out there, and that was in two thousand Cicely, right? Exonerated. And so it's, it's like it's like thirty years for their story. Thank God for Vernay. I know it also let's remember that our current president hasn't retracted his full page ads saying how they are criminals and awful and how they deserve to have life sentences and he is very much highlighted in the show as well. He is him. Oh, not like they just use actual footage. They don't need so they don't have anybody playing. Wow. He does focus on these five youth kids, and the caching on is so perfect because they are a well chill. You look at it. You're like, oh my God. There. And yeah, the costumes are so on point. And it's I mean, and I would say this gets a little bit more my cortex talk about Linda fairstein and the failure NYPD. The head prosecutor and just want to insight into her good. But I just realize how much they were just they were these children, how, you know, it's so funny this, I think that what does so. Well, when they see us is that it's a microcosm of like this is one story of many. Yes. I know this is the because it was highly publicized. It was all over the news. It's a one story, but we've been hearing about police brutality, targeting a black youth and men and women and elderly forever forever. And this isn't like a new thing. So using this, I really, I'm so glad you brought this up because I really need to highlight that this isn't just an incident. This wasn't just this is one off sort of situation, and does so, well, I kind of like just kind of back in her lane a little bit. Yeah, I mean I love I love..

"So I when I was going up early right right after I came out, and I'm talking about, you know, being married, and and I would see people get up and leave like, oh, you guys you guys didn't get the memo. I'm sorry. You know, sorry about that, whatever. And you know, it's all you're going. So guy won't send you to hell when you die. Is that it, you know, God thinks some funny. But all right. You know, I'm not going to give you your money back, by the way. But yeah. Well, I'm glad that you brought up pootie Tang because I've just been waiting for an opportunity extensively. So basically, the along with the film babe pig in the city, probably the most important thing on this program. Maybe a little bit of wet hot American summer, but mostly it's just pootie Tang talk on whole Cy. All right. Let's take a listen to my guest Wanda Sykes in pootie Tang, which is like if you've never seen pootie Tang first of all you should watch pootie Tang because it's great. But it's kind of like a surreal tribute to blaxploitation the premise of which is that pootie Tang, the titular character is so cool. He doesn't actually have to use words and big shorty Wanda Sykes. Character is a streetwalker who is has a similar level of self possession and coolness and so in this scene. She's on the corner. She's dancing, which is like the main thing. She does listen, listen, we're walkman and dance around on the. Corner and a guy asks her how much right? Two. What's your problem? Just like the dress fanciest down the street quarter some paused hoping June. Dislikes to stay on the corner of. Dress fancy hanging. This is their thing. Let's run with that. One of the things that so great to me about Putin Tang. I mean, besides just says, it's just one of the funniest things. I'll be a little bit of a mess. Well, a lot of a mess, but real funny and one of the things that's really great about it something that it's rare that you get to see a comedy that is mostly African American performers where they are being really silly. Yes. Yeah. I mean, there's when have you seen like a like black Monty python? Not saying that we were python at all. But yeah, I think that that was the beauty of it. It's it's just stepping out of the out of the norm. You know, just why can't why can't we be silly? I mean, I think it's you know, if you if you want to talk about what white privilege is one of the big things is that you. You get to step out of the norm because there's just a lot of white people. And you know, when you're the main voice, you can you can be an alternative voice. And when you're fundamentally an alternative voice 'cause there's just a lot less people who skin colored, then you don't get to do that. Exactly where it's a lot harder to get to. Yeah. Yeah. Black and year Dylan comedy, you bet. It just be damn funny. Yeah. Yeah. I can I export this. Nope. Nope. Standards line. But you know, the thing that I love about biggie shorty as with pootie Tang. But it is the the self possession that she has is so extreme. Oh, yeah. It must have been just a thrill to get to do that was so much fun. Yeah. I mean, she has such conviction in light. What the I t own that. Owned and that was so much fun doing that. It's just great to just walk in a room and go. I'm right. I am right. That is nothing that you can say. The mid would make me think otherwise what a feeling. Wonderful. Thanks. I appreciate you. Taking the time to be on bull's eye. Genuine honor to have you on the show. So admire your work. I'll kick right off with ugly dolls on remember those those fitting name. They were very, very ugly dolls, real popular back in early two, thousands, they are getting their own TV share are actually they're getting their own movie that will be followed by TV series. The movies have Wanda Sykes and gave her a glaciologist is to the main voice actors. They're also have Kelly, Clarkson, Nick, Jonas impeccable. So the voice town on this thing is just crazy. So many popular voice actors. I shouldn't say it was a popular people to be the voices on these things. Ugly dolls is supposed to come out daters on may tenth of twenty nineteen. I know I will say any date for the series TV series says it's in production. There are two kids animated series. So here we go going to be on the premium streaming service who. Lou. By Hasbro has rose getting into supporting other toys through movies and TV series. So you'll get to hear Wanda Sykes. Gabriel glaciologist being voices on ugly dolls. The Coen brothers. If you're big fan of Cohen, brothers and I, I am. They have a new project out their ballot. BUSTER Scruggs is kinda stranger is going to be out in theaters, but it's also on the member sixteenth. It's also going to be on Netflix streaming services. Same time in the break it down into six different. Short stories. I guess the whole thing is a little over an hour, our little two hours long. I think two hours twelve minutes to be exact. So you got some big name actors in this also talking about James Franco burning Gleason, Liam Niessen, Clancy Brown, Stephen root. These are some really good actors and the Coen brothers. I love their stuff is their movies are always really Corky with interesting characters. So. November sixteenth will build new, select theaters or on Netflix. I think most people in the world probably have a Netflix account or they're using their friends account by this time. So everybody should be able to see this new Cohen, brothers project, the ballot of BUSTER Scruggs. All right. Warner Brothers tried to break the internet yesterday by. Teasing that can recap will might be out as superman. It was really cryptic. The stuff they posted even Henry Cavill was kind of cryptic in his post. He made a post with wearing the crypto Nghien lifting team shirt. Didn't say whether or not he was in or out his rep. Henry Cavill rep is saying, hey, the Cape is stillness closet. Take deaf or whatever you want it to mean doesn't defend, say one way or the other. If he is still going to be superman. So we will see, hopefully sometime today they're gonna. Let us know is he end is the out and if he's out, are they going to start replacing the other Justice league characters? I, I would. I would imagine Gail does probably end up for the long haul, but we will find Henry Cavill. All he said was today was exciting with the hashtag superman. So we may see a new superman. We may not. We don't know. They have not have not told us one way or the other yet they're just leaving. I don't know if they're doing this to gain interest in superman, or if they're just shy test the waters to see people care one way or the other Warner Brothers. Stop leaving us on the line. Let us know one way or the other. Okay. I've been telling you guys about these streaming services, the DC universe streaming app. It went live a few few days early. And I'm looking at some of the, you know what people have said about overall, it's they. They've been pretty happy with from what I can tell. It's going to be seven, nine nine a month. They all their movies, cartoons and stuff like that is on there. It looks like they're still working on the comic book side. They have a lot of the complex up there, not all of them, but you know, they did launch a few days early. Maybe they're still working on that.
