"And they do three things. They move away from one another okay. That's the mid ocean ridge. You rip open the earth. That believes it's blood forms new tissue. It's an organism a a a creature and when you open it up and bleeds just like humans bleeds. Its blood blood. Coagulates forms new tissue. Got it but then because the earth isn't getting any bigger and smaller. Okay when it plates collide. One goes back in so every up. There's a down that makes sense it's imbalance and then there's either not doing this or not doing this. They're doing a san andreas fault and they're sliding past one another and of plate tectonic theory. That's it and you can use those three motions and explain everything that you can see. You add one other. Which is we have hot. Spots in our planet called thunderheads of the mantle like hawaii where there's storms that but doubt and make islands. So that's the only guy off to the side but you can explain almost everything you can explain why the resources are where they are it just like someone gave us a rosetta stone and i was lucky to be in that vanguard of students who got this new way of looking at the world but i had a problem. Half my thesis committee didn't believe in it and the other half believed in it and my job is to get them to fight and get out of the fight and what yawns that didn't believe that geology book they apart. What was their objection at that time to plate. Tectonics you want to know the real truth. I had one of them. Come up to me. I had one of the objection of diets. Come up to me and privately say you know. I actually think this might be true. But i don't wanna learn it. I'm too old in my career. i'm to ossified. He's literally moment of truth in. Oh i d- i think it seems to be right but i just don't wanna learn it interesting. Yes that reflects what he said. What's called the planck problem. max planck. Who made the observation. That scientific theories proceed funeral. The old guys just die out in the enter. The young turks come up except the new theory. So that proposed mid atlantic ridge zone of emergence essentially new land is being created that was theoretical until you actually went down and filmed it. Actually hand went down and actually well you know it was originally theorized by geophysicist. Who look at things that they're the big picture people they were looking at gravity magnetics reversal patterns they saw in Seafloor that turned out to be symmetrical. Seminal paper off the wanda fuca ridge. Where they saw this pattern. That was identical. And they've figured there that there's something generating the magnetics..

"The true legends the series all over the world in search of the lost cities in giants of history were the builders of the very very big mac Alyssa kissed structures of the ancient world Steve is a talk radio host he's been doing that for a long time in and out has been warning against genetic Armageddon in here really is back on coast to coast even walk home well hello George and it's nice to be with you and talk about the events taking place and you know it's exciting to see what's going on right now especially on the west coast of the United States because ever since the seven point one earthquake happened in ridgecrest the greatest earthquakes warm that I've been able research in history is still on going from the fourth of July and then one destroyed the China lake naval weapons laboratory both above ground and below ground and most people don't understand that it's one of the biggest US bases both above and below ground that we have so there is an event taking place and what's really interesting because as you know I live on the perimeter of Yellowstone National Park I've been filming it and photographing and now for almost forty eight years and the thing is is a lot of different production companies call me from all over the world and they want to you know discuss the Ellis is going to blow you also gonna blow well I got to share with you that we've interviewed some of the most famous volcanologist they had scientists at Yellowstone that have been monitoring everything there in Yellowstone's most monitored seismic area in the world I think actually should be the number one geologic wonder of the world you know listed bucket list but here's the thing about six months ago I started really feeling impressed that go and start filming the entire Cascadia range of most people don't understand that the activity under the Cascadia region that goes all the way from pretty much southern British Columbia down everything from mount Baker glacier peak mount Ranier mount Adams mount Saint Helens mount hood mount Jefferson three sisters crater lake Newberry volcano mount Shasta at medicine lake volcano in Lassen peak in California still are active there's active magma pools underneath that and Cascadia the big one is basically the warning and the alerting up people along the west coast that forget just the San Andreas not that that would be at all devastating in its own but the Cascadia fault line thank you basically has the Wanda Fuca plate and the Gorda plate and other plates which were left over from ma the Farallon plate there sub docking that means get there putting pressure on the north American plate and when Max goes it's going to be very very difficult Yellowstone has a point zero zero zero zero one chance of even having a magmatic moment right now which means magma would break the surface even though it's overdue isn't it well it's not really overdue you know here's the thing most people you know the last known direction was six hundred thirty thousand years ago but the cascade region now has a one in three chance of going off over the next ten years Jeez and so what was fascinating as I shared with up all the notes I sent you an with Lisa and Stephanie was the fact that I undertook band and I really believe that this is critical timing for this the most elaborate filming of the entire volcanic region in the cascades all the way down from obviously use a Washington in the northern California and we felt that the seven K. which there's very few monitors I can even you know reproduce that quality one degree I guess basically up finest aerial cinematographers in the world lives in Oregon I got on the name of Daniel hers and then the one that we is my partner in Yellowstone filming is now both top and these guys have done a remarkable job done throwing those names out for a reason these are names going all over the world as the guys that got it done if five nat geo or any of the big people want things done may go to these guys what I want to share as this that based on all of the interviews Cascadia amber full margin rupture that could happen and that the scientists are preparing for what as the article I sent I don't know of I think I sent lex a bunch of stuff to put up but I put some I'd be you know links up for you but basically Kathryn Schulz wrote an article on Cascadia the big one and it was a Pulitzer Prize winning overview of the danger of the Cascadia fault and now with ridge crest imminent jump from the Oregon coast washing clothes down into pretty much central California hardly any mention is made of that ongoing swarm of long term episodic quakes why not well there you go that's the big question when it comes and I think I have an answer finally after six months of interviews after talking to everybody both on record an op records I have by come to the conclusion that it's all about insurance it's all about money and it's all about finances for instance as you know northern California in some areas that have sustain horrific damage from fires they're no longer allowed to have any type of Bob or no one's gonna write fire insurance form if the truth of the magma that's under now this is amazing under China late there is a magma pool two hundred and seventy five cubic miles that's a lot of my and what I sent to you and I don't know if you've seen it yet or a you know lex I just sent him an email while we're on the air saying where is it so you could draw attention to a bunch of Nassau has been flying now sigh any of that I has been I always make it sound like the island has been flying over three hundred flights since the seven point one earthquake that has never happened before in their history they're looking for the mag more rupture that's coming out of that pool that's have pretty much headed towards the west coast and so if you understand the movie volcano or I've ever seen a with Tommy Lee Jones it's kind of along that theme now what happened during the Cold War and this is interesting all of southern California into the desert palm desert palm springs and further up northern desert at it basically have a lot of military base in water research facilities that are in order to keep them out of the house buying highs in this guy of the Russians moved everything underground but since the ridge crest earthquake he has been going on it is been absolutely almost silence in the press because I would say this the economic ramifications are as dire as the volcanic and allied albeit earthquake ramifications in terms of of you know all future laws verses the present panic that would ensue if they told the truth now interesting jumped amount gonna to bow in the Philippines when it blew up there is it USGS scientists still we is that we still live name Bernard sure way that is C. H. O. U. ET that pretty much was the first guy delaying long episodic wakes to mag to just massive volcanic explosions so what we've got the situation a rich press that's pretty much way east of LA pushing towards LA you've got the San Andreas fault you've got the guard locked fault that shifted okay all connected if they're all connected when no boy yet by connecting they all influence each other so the Cascadia region again you've got multiple multiple way fans taking place now you probably know in order to get your always sees four point six earthquake constantly hold on Stephen weren't a break let's come back and talk more Stephen Coyle with us we'll take calls with them next hour if you live out in that region definitely check in with us get daily show updates right to your inbox for free with the coast's own newsletter sign up today it coast to coast AM dot com news traffic and weather Tampa bay's news radio WFLA out of this town hall meeting about fifty people gathered here state senator Joe Gruber's talk about getting tough on illegal immigration group hers is trying to garner support for legislation that would force local government agencies to fully comply with requests from federal immigration authorities some in the crowd disagreed with the senator this man tells news channel eight greeters legislation creates a climate of fear and immigrant communities these people live in fear sanctuary cities largest makes it worse clear water may be the latest Florida city moving forward with a plan to allow E. scooters the city council considering a one year pilot program limiting the number of scooters to two hundred a statewide boost in tourism doesn't seem to be evident in bay county visit Panama City beach reports a drop of almost five percent and lodging tax revenue between July and September blaming the drop on the slow rebuild from hurricane Michael with Florida's news I'm John Conrad but the forty central credit union home loans traffic.

"Than a dozen books and videos dealing with advances of ancient technology and civilizations is documentary film production company Jenna six productions films the true legends the series all over the world in search of the lost cities in giants of history were the builders of the very very big mac Alyssa kissed structures of the ancient world Steve is a talk radio host he's been doing that for a long time in and out has been warning against genetic Armageddon in here is back on coast to coast even walk home well hello George and it's nice to be with you and talk about the events taking place and you know it's exciting to see what's going on right now especially on the west coast of the United States because that person for seven point one earthquake happened in ridgecrest the greatest earthquakes warm that I've been able research in history is still on going from the fourth of July and then one destroyed the China lake naval weapons laboratory both above ground and below ground and most people don't understand that it's one of the biggest US bases both above and below ground that we have so there is an event taking place and what's really interesting because as you know I live on the perimeter of Yellowstone National Park I've been filming it and photographing and now for almost forty years a on the thing is is a lot of different production companies call me from all over the world and they want to you know discuss the Ellis is going to blow you also gonna blow well I got to share with you that we've interviewed some of the most famous volcanologist they had scientists at Yellowstone that have been monitoring everything there in Yellowstone's most monitored outside make Kerry in the world I think actually should be the number one geologic wonder of the world you know listed bucket with but here's the thing about six months ago I started really feeling impressed that go and start filming the entire Cascadia range of most people don't understand that the activity under the Cascadia region that goes all the way from pretty much southern British Columbia down everything from mild Baker glacier peak mount Ranier mount Adams mount Saint Helens mount hood mount Jefferson three sisters crater lake Newberry volcano mount Shasta medicine lake volcano in Lassen peak in California's still are active there's active make mobiles underneath that and Cascadia the big one is basically the warning and the alerting up people along the west coast that forget just the San Andreas not that that would be at all devastating in its own but the Cascadia fault line thank you basically has the Wanda Fuca plate and Gorda plate and other plates which were left over from the Farallon plate there sub docking that means get there putting pressure on the north American plate and when that goes it's going to be very very difficult Yellowstone has a point zero zero zero zero one chance of they even having a magmatic moment right now which means magma would break the surface even though it's overdue isn't it well it's not really overdue you know here's the thing most people you know the last known direction was six hundred thirty thousand years ago but the cascade region now has a one in three chance of going off over the next ten years Jeez and so what was fascinating as I shared with up all the notes I sent you an with Lisa and Stephanie with us back that I undertook band and I really believe that this is critical timing for this the most elaborate filming of the entire volcanic region in the cascades all the way down from obviously the Washington into northern California and we felt that the seven K. which there's very few monitors I can even deal reproduce that quality one degree I guess basically your finest aerial cinematographers in the world lives in Oregon I got on the name of Daniel hers and then the one that we is my partner in Yellowstone filming is now both top and these guys have done a remarkable job done throwing those names out for a reason these are names going all over the world as the guys that got it done if five nat geo or any of the big people want things done make all of these guys what I want to share as this that based on all of the interviews Cascadia amber full margin rupture that could happen and that the scientists are preparing for what as the article I sent I don't know if I think I sent lex a bunch of stuff to put up but I put some I'd be you know links up for you but basically Kathryn Schulz wrote an article on Cascadia the big one and it was a Pulitzer Prize winning overview of the danger of the Cascadia fault and now with ridge crest imminent jump from the Oregon coast washing clothes down into pretty much central California hardly any mention is made of that ongoing swarm of a long term episodic.

S. bases both above and below ground that we have so there is an event taking place and what's really interesting because as you know I live on the perimeter of Yellowstone National Park I've been filming yet and photographing and now for almost forty eight years and the thing is is a lot of different production companies call me from all over the world and they want to you know discuss Yeltsin's gonna blow Yeltsin's gonna blow well I got to share with you that we've interviewed some of the most famous volcanologist they had scientists at Yellowstone that'd been monitoring everything there Yellowstone's most monitored seismic area in the world I think actually should be the number one geologic wonder of the world you know listed bucket list but here's the thing about six months ago I started really feeling impressed that go and start filming the entire Cascadia range of most people don't understand that the activity under the Cascadia region that goes all the way from pretty much southern British Columbia down everything from mount Baker glacier peak mount Ranier mount Adams mount Saint Helens mount hood mount Jefferson three sisters crater lake Newberry volcano mount Shasta medicine lake volcano in Lassen peak in California still are active there's active make mobiles underneath that and Cascadia the big one is basically the warning and the alerting of people along the west coast that forget just the San Andreas not that that would be you know devastating in its own but the Cascadia fault line thank you basically has the Wanda Fuca plate and Gorda plate and other plates which were left over from the Farallon plate there sub docking that means get there putting pressure on the north American plate and when that goes it's going to be very very difficult Yellowstone has a point zero zero zero zero one chance of even having a magmatic moment right now which means magma would break the surface even though it's overdue isn't it well it's not really overdue you know here's the thing most people you know the last known direction was six hundred thirty thousand years ago but the cascade region now has a one in three chance of going off over the next ten years and so what was fascinating as I shared with thought all the notes I sent you an with Lisa and Stephanie was the fact that I undertook band and I really believe that this is critical timing for this.

"Why I'm here in my golden years. I still enjoy playing with cars, which is true for the young and the old. But by the way, I never let the old man in the that's how you know, somebody's real listener Ramon when they coach you from another show. Czar perplexed in Tampa. We have to seemingly contradicting PSA's running on local radio here in Tampa, Florida. One says that one out of three children in our country are obese the other claims one out of four going to bed hungry. I get it more credence to the former as I see a lot more fat kids when I was young. But it still seems a stretch as for the ladder with snap food stamps, free breakfast and lunch at school and food pantries seemingly everywhere it'd be pretty hard for that many kids to go hungry. But there you go the radio would never lie to us when asking for donations. But my thought is instead of sitting my money how about we just get the fat kids to share. This was a good one. Gary sacks. Washington. I've listened to your show for a long time. I enjoy it tremendously. I now listen to you on internet sitting at my desk, watching the straits Wanda Fuca as it is my backyard in the brain dead state of Washington, you stated that you wanted your listeners to Email and tell you our thoughts and desires for the show. Listen this because he does please stop whispering. As you get towards the end of sentences are statements as I can't hear you. And I'm not alone. My wife says the same thing and she's twenty years younger than me. I realize this is a way of getting the attention of the listener. But it's to the point of aggravation at least for myself. In fact, I stopped listening to rush as a result of the pauses as they grow so long that I just shut him off. I appreciate your time in reading this. I will respond to that. And I pulled that out of the stack for a reason. Those pregnant pause. Usually if there's what you consider to be a pregnant pause for a fact, it's not a pause for a fact what happens is I have about forty documents in front of me in various states of editing marking EROs circles, and I'm trying to find either the next story that I wanted to go to or the backup story that I was looking for or I'm trying to find the audio file or a hundred other things I realized that you don't want to hear me talk about how we do the radio show just do the damn show. But I will tell you that sometimes when there's a long pause or music longer than you would like it's because I am searching for the next.
