"It was just announced moments ago that Biden is going to give an unscheduled speech at the capitol tonight. White House senior adviser adviser Anita Dunn said he's going to give the speech from Capitol Hill because that's where there was an attempt to subvert our democracy. Now, what in the world could Biden be doing tonight? Tonight, 6 days before the midterm election, given a speech from the capitol because that's where there was an attempt to subvert democracy. Be ready for anything. You better be prepared for anything they throw at us. And I think you need to be prepared for Biden leading office, leaving office. And I think he's going to leave office pretty soon. Surely it didn't tonight. I can't imagine, but what in the world is he going to speak on at the capitol? This is probably going to become a big deal. I wonder if he'll use that red backdrop again, like the one he used in Philly. Think he'll use that blood red backdrop to scare people. I mean, wow, be ready. I am so glad that we've got this show and this time we can spend together to kind of, we can get through anything together with God's help, we'll get through anything they throw at us. But here's what we have to face. We do have a president who appears to be Sheena. He came to Florida yesterday and it was not a good visit. Despite the beast trying to spin it like a real successful trip, I was just looking at mediaite, oh, Biden was so effective. He was trashing the Republican. Yeah, hey, media. Why don't you cover Biden claiming he talked to the guy who invented insulin? Here's cut 13 listened to Joe Biden talking about insulin and the guy who invented it who just for the record died a year before Biden was born. How many of you know somebody with diabetes? These insulin. Well, guess what? And when Debbie and I pass this law, it included everybody, not just seniors. And so what happened was we said, okay, and how much you cost to make that insulin drug for diabetes? Of course. It was invented by a man who did not patent it because he wanted it available for everyone. I spoke to him, okay? I spoke to him, okay? He says that. I spoke to the guy. I spoke to him. He died in 1942. You think you're speaking at? Do you speak to him recently? This week? This morning when? When did you talk to, when did you have your conversation with the Doctor Who invented insulin? Doctor Frederick banting died in 1941. Biden was born in 1942. Even more seriously and I guarantee you somebody listening to this show who's a progressive is going to accuse me of exploiting somebody's tragedy, I'm not my heart goes out to anybody who loses a son. No parent should outlive their child. And I mourn for the Biden family in losing Beau to brain cancer. But he did die of cancer at Walter Reed hospital. That didn't stop Biden from saying this. Inflation is a worldwide problem right now. Because of a war in Iraq and the impact on oil and which Russia is doing, I mean, excuse me, the war in Ukraine. And I think in Iraq, because that's what my son died. You were thinking of Iraq instead of Ukraine because that's where your son died with all due respect, mister president, your son died at Walter Reed medical center. And tragically he died of cancer. He didn't die fighting on the battlefield in Iraq. I am flabbergasted. And there's no way this can be sustainable. You know that and I know that. We all know it. How can you get up there and say your son died in Iraq? Somebody pointed out, well, there's possibility you got geo blastoma and maybe that was from the burn pits of Iraq. Well, he didn't die in Iraq. He died in the hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, and that's the second time this week, apparently he's done it. The New York Post reporting that was the second time. That he falsely claimed that his son died in Iraq..

"Was truly the gravest crying in American history, and it must be fully prosecuted. I don't know if I know how happy clappy I am this morning in terms of the whether we're going to find all these texts because clearly this was so premeditated because it goes to every branch of government that they it's like no cassler said. This was even if the coup succeeded to cover up their crimes. So they couldn't, so we'll see. I'm going to choose to go with the people that say we will find them. Holy crap. Okay, Joe tweets, when Joe Biden gave a speech about the assassination of a terrorist, he didn't say he died like a dog or that his body was blown to bits. He didn't praise himself or plug his own book. He didn't do any of that because he's not he's a real president and not a self centered hole. Thank you, Joe. Has anyone done the side by sides by presidential dignified? And then I was remembering. He died like a dog. Oh, they did sandwich. They did Obama Trump and Biden. Right. Okay. What is dying like a dog? I don't. He's everything. He sweated like a dog get fired like a dog. I don't know, none of the things that dogs do. They don't sweat, don't get fired. They don't have jobs. Dog jobs. Well, yeah, I suppose. Okay. Cabbie and shroff says a Biden and Obama killed Al-Qaeda's top leadership. Trump freed 5000 Taliban. That's the difference. Why does the mainstream media not put more things in context like that with something huge like this happens? Okay. Liam Neeson, who I refuse to believe is not the real rent Liam Neeson. It's not the real news. He tweeted, instead of gasping for breath at Walter Reed hospital, President Biden spent his COVID infection hunting and killing the leader of Al-Qaeda. Boom. Yeah? Jim and Cleveland, hi, Jim. Welcome. Hi. Hi, Stephanie. This is the summer straight from Cleveland. It's called before. Okay. Go ahead. And I just wanted to tell you a particularly wealthy today. Oh, God. Okay, Eddie Haskell. No, no. I did a study in college or you see you look pretty stay online and average of 17.8 seconds longer. You have figured her out, haven't you? Yes. I took 70 seconds just for that to say how lovely. Okay. Anyway, I just wanted to make a comment about the trust or if they do indict the arrangements. I just hope that he gets what he deserves. And don't think that something of a plea deal. Yeah. You know, which some lawyers are really good at. Yeah. Well, this is why the clock is ticking on how long this would take. And then an appeal and that he sees actual justice. So I'm totally with you on that. We haven't supported Carlos isn't even here and we were going to support the sports.

"But cut number ten, please. Was making a speech and I had a terrible head in here. Excuse me, a terrible headache. And. I'm sorry. I had a terrible headache. This is years ago. And I did a very stupid thing. Oh, my God. Aircraft. And I flew home. It turned out I had a two cranial aneurysms. And I got rushed to a hospital in the middle of a snowstorm. For a 9 and a half hour operation that saved my life, and I had the second operation I found the remainers, and the other side of my brain, I joked the reason they went in twice to take the top of my head off was they couldn't find a brain. The first time. Then in between, I had a major embolism. Almost killed me. Nothing unusual when other people haven't gone through. But I look back on, and I don't think you nurses are nearly appreciated enough. What I found was you lie in the ICU and I've not said this publicly before. And you look at the monitors. And you know if the line goes flat, you're dead. You know who each monitor is, but you know. I really mean it vision. It's true. But you just get tired. Even when you're not in pain, you just want to quit. And the nurses at Walter Reed hospital would come up and rub my face. They'd whisper my ear. They get close and tell me it's going to be okay. They made a difference in my life. Does that sound like a healthy man to you, ladies and gentlemen? Does that sound like a man who has control of his mental faculties to you? Is it time for somebody to intervene? Get this guy back on Air Force One. I mean, what you couldn't see was how red his face was. He did not look well, and we've got the photographs for you to see for yourself on our website here. But the constant coughing and the hacking and the wheezing and the mumbling and the talking about the nurses, bending down and whispering in his ear and the ICU, sniffing the little girl's hair in Delaware just a few days ago. Is this normal to you or are these signs that we are in the endgame here when it comes to Joe Biden? Because this man does not look healthy and I don't think he's healthy enough to be president of the United States. You say, well, Tom, what about Kamala Harris? Well, she's a moron. And again, she's not running the show, and neither is Biden. There are other people that are pulling the string. So whatever is going to happen is going to happen. But this guy for his own well-being because clearly the family doesn't care. They're all about the power and they're all about the money. They know that Joe Biden is the cash cow. They know that because of Joe Biden, hunter's getting all of these big dollar contracts, Joe Biden has the prestige, and by the way, I think she's the evil stepmother in all of this. If you're looking at how all of this is playing out, I think Joe Biden, at least based on the writings and the ramblings of and the text messages of Hunter Biden, she really is the wicked stepmother. Because Jill Biden should care more about her husband than being First Lady and I think that's the issue here is that she wants to be First Lady so much so that she's willing to put her husband's life and health in jeopardy. "And so I didn't know really what to expect. You know, I just heard stories of Afghanistan, but I was like, in my head, I was like, I just Baghdad O 5. How bad could it be? But Afghanistan in 2009 2010 was like one of the heavy hit casualties the U.S. casualty years, you know, during that time. That's when we did an influx in Afghanistan and worked really just kind of maneuvering through the whole country, you know? And trying to rid of like Taliban and stuff like that. So the casualty rate is going to get high, obviously. But so I was out there and I mean, I was there for a year. And I was getting ready to come home. And I think I was packed up pretty much, ready to come home. I was supposed to have a helicopter and a couple of days come give me. I was going to go home a little bit earlier than everybody else because I got there two months before everybody else. So I remember just, I was going to go on one more patrol and then I was done and I remember talking to my wife at the time on the phone and just kind of giving her the secret words that I got to do a patrol type of thing and of course she has an understanding of like I'm going out on a mission and it was just, you know, just a nice routine patrol, you know, and then we went out on a patrol and then yeah, we were just cruising around. I think it was like two in the morning or something like that. And then, yeah, my vehicle just we ran over a pressure plate IED that was just so massive. It literally engulfed my striker pretty much. And put a two man sized hole directly beneath where I was standing at and opened it wide open and then, yeah, I mean, I remember just going down into a ravine and then we're going to go down into ravine is kind of like a river and then come up out of it and when we came up out of it, we had a truck in front of us a striker in front of us. He had rollers and those rollers are to hit those pressure plates and detonate before the actual vehicle gets all up in it. And we were the second right behind the rollers, but when the guy went up in front, my driver came up and that whole front of that vehicle was I would have came down. He went left a little bit and got out of the tracks of those rollers and stuff and that was just the spot where that IED was sitting at perfectly and it just blew up and then when it happened, I remember I remember it happening and me waking up and thinking I didn't think I got blown up because I was the guy I was so good at finding bombs like I was the guy that I had a very good eye for it. 2 o'clock in the morning dust, it's a little harder, night vision a little harder, but you know I remember just waking up and seeing my whole squad knocked out unconscious. And I see all the smoke and dirt and everything I can smell everything and I'm like, I thought we rolled our vehicle. I thought we just came up. The last thing I remember was up and then I thought maybe we rolled. And then all of a sudden I realized we got hit by an IED. And so I'm yelling at my guys because on that deployment we had one of my commander and his whole truck got hit by an IED and it flipped it and it caught on fire burned everybody and killed everybody like burn them alive pretty much. So I remember just seeing all the smoke and everything so I immediately started screaming at all my guys to like wake up and get out of the vehicle, but the vehicle could be on fire. So they started like getting out of the vehicle and then when they got out, I went to go get myself out and I realized I can't use this hand and I just started feeling like I was like oh man I'm beat up. I can move my legs. I couldn't feel them. I thought they were gone. I couldn't feel them at all. So I remember just getting my hand, taking my glove off and rubbing my all my body as much as I could with how much I can move I was pinned down by all kinds of just crap and just as much as I could and trying to feel and I could feel my parts of my legs. I couldn't reach down all the way, but I was like, okay, I have, there's my knees, you know, stuff like that. And then fill in everywhere, fill all of me and then I just had to light on my helmet and I looked, I had blood, oil, battery acid, just so you could see all the stuff just on my hands. And I was like, I'm gonna head on like, I'm pretty messed up. And so I thought maybe my legs are blown off from the bottom, you know? And then I just remember y'all trying to go for the guys, you know? And they have two of them came back in, and they were yelling for me, and I was like, I'm stuck, I can't move. And so I remember them turning their lights on and getting in there. And I was like, it's a vehicle on fire and they were like, no, it's not on fire. And I was like, okay, get me out of here. And when they the look on their face, I could tell I was like, oh, I'm pretty beat up right now. And so this hand worked perfectly. And on the ceiling of the truck, we had these little handrails that we could grab. So I remember them, I'm just trying to pull myself up while they're trying to grab me. And I remember one getting behind me and able to grind me from my vest and my other one guy grabbed me from my legs and when he lifted me. So much pain. Just so much pain and then this right leg, the knee has was fully dislocated. So it was just kind of like swaying around, you know, kind of a thing. This leg was just brutalized. I mean, it was just swelling. It was just there's blood coming up. It's real weird, you know? And I remember this, get me out of the vehicle and laying me down behind the dirt behind the truck on the dirt, and then my dog came and he was my boy, you know, we were real close and I just remember like, don't mess with me. How bad is he's like, it's pretty bad. We got a lot of bleeding. We ought to stop and et cetera. I caught shrapnel up inside my leg, almost into my growing, and I was like, is my manhood there, man? Are we good? And he's like, you're fine. I was like, thank God, man. I was like, you know, because I was stressed because it blew my almost blew my pants off. The pressure was so bad. And I had severe second and third degree burns going down my legs from the battery acid. And this is all for nitrate or whatever from the explosive stuff. And so, you know, you sit there and work it onto that, and just remember them calling medevac and helicopter coming, and I was kind of going in and out, you know? Obviously, they were giving me some morphine and stuff too, but they needed me to stay awake. And so I remember helicopter coming on. I remember just this big broly boy coming up and just kind of smacking me in the face and just being like, wake up, you're gonna make it, you know, and loaded me on the helicopter and the last thing I remember is flying in that helicopter and a helicopter was hauling ass. And it was just nose down, low to the ground and just flying. So I was in my head, I'm like, I know I'm pretty bad right now. And then yeah, just getting wheeled into the ER right there at the Kandahar air base. And then I don't remember anything. Until let's see, I woke up, I woke up one time, the next time I woke up, I was in Germany. I woke up once. I had a flashback of the explosion, woke me up. And they gave me some medicine, put me down. I guess I was going through, I was having a severe blood clotting at that time, so they didn't even know positive to make it out of that hospital. They thought the potential blood clots killing me was very high. So they almost flew my family out to Germany, not knowing if I wasn't even making back to the states because the blood clotting was so bad. I had both my legs at the time. And they were trying to save everything, you know, that they could. And then they kind of got me stable, and then I remember just flying from Germany to the states, and I remember at one point, like, kind of waking up and looking and I can just, I just remember seeing all the wounded soldiers on that plane. And I just wanted some water, you know, and they gave me like a cap full of water, 'cause I can't give me a lot in just a wet my mouth. And then I went back out. I don't know anything after that. And then the next thing you know, I remember waking up in Washington, D.C.. And I was in this, like, little ambulance truck and there was a few other people there. And there was this girl. She had blew her leg off. I got her labeling off the way up high. An RPG kind of hit a wall that she was on and took her leg. And she was pretty messed up. She was pretty hysterical in a pretty upset and sad but it's a girl. Pretty girl too. And I just remember trying to talk to her and I'm like, I'll messed up too. And I was like trying to calm her down and it's gonna be okay and then we got to Walter Reed hospital and I remember that willing us in in this big doorway and there's this like all the state flags and the American flag and it's like this whole beautiful entry of this hospital and then I don't remember nothing after that. At all. I remember I was an ICU for a little less than two months I believe something like that and then I don't remember any of ICU and then I started waking up when they put me in the ward and I was bedridden for months and at that time did you still have the leg or did they amputate it? No, so I still have the leg. I had the leg for from let's say I got blown up. I.

Yeah but if you look at the comments it's really astounding that first off is like ninety five percent of the people. Don't get the joke. And they just think that you were a comedian who was joking about not getting vaccinated and then died of covert now the first thing that jumps out which is really fascinating. Is that none of them. Even like are bothered by the fact that this is a highly unlikely scenario so they they wouldn't even think to like hey should i like you know. Should i double check this because the idea that just this young guy who's up there joking around looks completely healthy with die of cova very soon. It's very unlikely. There's there's there's a lot this fascinating here right number one that they wouldn't just stop to go like really. Did this guy. I mean you just by looking at you with not knowing anything else you'd be. It's like ninety nine point nine percent chance that that wouldn't happen so if someone just had a video where they told me something. That's like ninety nine point nine percent unlikely to happen happened. I probably have some questions before. Just assume well of course but they're so propagandized that just like you die from cova. That's what happens. You die from co but of course So but then of course the bigger takeaway from this his just. how like. Oh like morally appalling. These people are and these are the people who claim to care so much about public health. These are the ones like. Because i have so much empathy. I just wanna save people's lives and all of this but they here they think a comedian. Who made the crime of joking around about not getting the vaccine. They're going to dance on his grave in their mind. Like what type of fucking sick people are you like. I don't even you know. That's what makes it. So that's what makes it such a good troll as it just shows these people for what and who they are is a brilliant troll that but that's the thing and of course the the the thing that has been on my mind last couple of days as i'm sure a lot of people have seen and i've been tweeting about it. A lot was that you know rogin announced that he had had covert And oh my god. I mean the amount of people who are like rooting for him to get very sick and or die because it would suit their own political interests. You know what i'm saying because it's like oh. It would kind of validate what i've been saying so i will wish ill literally on on this person like this is just like sickening man. What what type of human beings are you mike. I'm glad i don't. I'm not like related to you. Her work with you or like us. Jesus you don't want to be around people like this. And they're like taking this opportunity to dunk on rogan. Because really i think what his ultimate crime was is that he's number one. He's been skeptical of the whole. Kobe regime and had a lot of people on his podcast. Non-self included who have really been completely advocating that we just end all of these restrictions immediately. He has questioned the the vaccine. And whether it's necessary for everyone to take the vaccine before he's not that he's ever come out strongly against it or anything but he's been willing to entertain these ideas he's been willing to entertain you. Know he's had alex berenson on and like people like that and he's been willing to hear other sides of this. You know very important issue and he came out and announced that he had taken something that rhymes with shiver mexican Shiver maktum is called the ivory the ivory. He's that ivory and this is what everybody is really furious about. And so they're all sitting there kind of donkey on. It's funny it reminds me of when when trump got covert and for like. It's almost like they just can't help themselves. So for three days the entire press would be just dunking on trump. You got cova de you. You weren't taking it seriously enough. Oh you don't wanna wear your mask kinda wanna marry us but look at you. Now look at you now in walter reed hospital you know and i remember us talking about it on the podcast and we were like guys. Even though trump is over seventy and fat we're still looking at like what are the like a ninety nine ninety eight percent chance that he survives. This is just fine right like it's really really high and you would think that the the blue checks and the corporate press would be like all right. Let's just just in case this thing. That is like ninety eight percent likely to happen happens. Let's not make ourselves look really bad. But they just can't. They can't help themselves. You trump trump's mayo for breakfast. No diseases him down but so but know you know. And then of course he's fine. He's absolutely fine and then they all look like idiots but like with rogin even in his announcement video he said how sick for like a day goes out. I think he was like ask sunday night. Who had fever really wasn't fun because monday felt a lot better. Tuesday felt better and today. I'm just like fine. Feel absolutely fine and like it's like texas with him briefly feeling fine. He's doing great and so it's so funny. They're all dunking on. Oh you took the you took the ivory. Oh yeah you know. And it's what is it that the oh you took the horse. Tapeworm or d. Wermer though yeah which by the way of you say that if you repeat that line it's almost like just like you said the troll was excellent. This is what's so nice about the the current state of the world that we live in is like thank you for just like marking yourself as an npc that you literally just repeat without any critical thought what are told to by the the establishment. They're like what. yeah okay like. Yes there is part of that. Drug is used in something that they give horses for like for a d. wermer but that doesn't mean there's lots of medica- no one's that animals and people both take. There's there's lots of people medicine that animals take. This is all just so stupid and there having look. I don't even know what level of like how good that is to take. There's been several studies that have indicated that if you take it early it has to be early. Can't wait till you're very sick with kobe. But if you take earlier even before you get vid it can help your body. Fight it off then. There's been other studies that have contradicted. That so i don't freak in no but he was clearly prescribed by a doctor. Like what are you and then you're sitting here dunking on this guy. And you're like he got better after a day. You idiot realize stupid. This makes you look. But whether look he said he was on. Like z. Pack and on a vitamin drip. And all these other stuff. And i appreciate it. I thought it was cool that he mentioned what he was taking the let me just say and then i'll i'll let you share but the the to me. The the most likely thing is that the why rogin recovered so quickly and is going to be absolutely fine is because rogan is in excellent shape. The guy fucking really takes care of his nutrition. He's really obsessed with being healthy..

"As he does that navalny releases another one of these tapes. That was was very very young research very funny worth watching a two-hour show about Putin's riches about how he had built this multibillion-dollar Palace on the Black Sea with hockey arenas wineries, you know, stripper poles a whole this kind of stuff which essentially embarrassed the Kremlin further and and and also upset the population so often when they saw just the level of theft from Putin in his his people that had got them out on the streets. And so now there's been two weekends of people protesting on the streets brought thousands and thousands of people out. Cremona said to arrest them and now they put their saying that morning to just stay in jail for three years for what not dying when he they tried to murder him. And so now that Putin is pushed himself into a call. She doesn't really have any place to go. He's essentially shown himself to be a dictator. He he can't put up with some opposition. He has no other means other than arresting and using his boss is secret police to try to stop people who are you know, openly protesting and so Putin, you know, he's he's gathered more and more and more power over the past twenty years. He's got a young population a very well educated population that says there's people who spent their entire life with this their whole life of the same president who now says he can stay in the power until the mid, you know, twenty Thirty s and so now that he's he's created this Pressure against him now. He's very powerful. He's got the powerful Security Services. He's got a lot of money not to suggest he's going to be overthrown any time soon, but he but he certainly created a fresher. It's going to be there for a long time against his regime and he has to worry that at some point just like it was with the Soviet Union. It'll be too much. So you did so Tom Nevada Lee came back just to be a modern then right just left. Yeah, that's right. And but you don't think it's going to it's going to work so much as to get Putin overthrown. That's so hard so hard to say, I mean, I think Putin has created a situation now that is always going to be you know, in his rear-view mirror. He has to worry about it and I seen from a lot of regimes in the past. What is the Tipping Point? What is the final straw that breaks the camel's back and you know, it's not clear if that's any time soon, but he's created the wage. The means by which if he falls out of power, we now know why he he's he's made he's made it worse for himself by trying to kill this guy. Unbelievable and it is really Brave of navona Lie to come back. I mean, I think I said no way I'm happy living in the west. I mean exactly. I mean he's you know, he's sort of understood, you know, in sort of Russian history that you know does ours and the in the Communist leadership and others have also been so brutal that you know, it's sometimes takes you know, some of these Martyrs that to sort of highlight just how bad things are and so he's incredibly Savvy politically and and brave and so now he could find upsetting in prison for the next 3 and 1/2 years. Yeah. I think he got two and half years according to one of the people in the church scares me it again. Yeah is Russia targeting weapons. I read that on one of your yeah. So one of my close friends mark polymeropoulos There was an article today in the BBC and there's a very very good article in GQ Magazine where he spoke about what happened to him. So if you recall a couple of years ago, there were a number of America wage amounts and even some Canadian diplomats in Canada who got this sort of head trauma that they couldn't explain that. They didn't know there was some kind of Sonic noise or there was something that happened to be so bad that they had to leave and go to the hospital and they didn't know what happened and so over the next couple of years. There's this happened in again in China and happened in Russia some of the United States and there's a number of years of diplomats and and sometimes us Intelligence Officers who had this thing happened to them recently. There was a report that came out from scientist knighted states wage say this is consistent with a directed-energy weapon. And there's been some this is public there. Been some studies that look like when this has happened to people when we've done geo-locating. It looks like some of these Russian g r u Intelligence Officers that we've uncovered being a tied to Afghanistan bounties being tied to hacking and other things are in the vicinity when these it looks as if this weapon may have been used choice not clear why it looks like the Russians. It's not clear why the Russians would be using this thing to harm our diplomats and Intelligence Officers. Is this just a bakery is this some sort of technical thing that's meant to collect intelligence from your home or your phone. It's not it's not very clear. But my friend Mark had to it was an excellent officer wage for a senior officer had been in Afghanistan have been in Iraq had been shot at and he says this was the scariest most dangerous thing that's ever happened to him and he's got Non-Stop. Every day 24 hours a day for the last several years headaches that he has now go to Walter Reed hospital to try to get you know taken care of but what they do like do some kind of fact, I don't want to say we don't know but it looks like some sort of technical device that it is aimed at an individual which does brain injury to them and it's not it's not clear. Why is it is it just to hurt our people or is it for some other purpose.

The Congress is currently debating vines proposed $1.9 trillion stimulus package that includes around a $1400 stimulus checks. I mean, 2000 month. Right? Just for existing. Now, let's let's think about that. Because those watching listening might be like, Hey, Whoa! 2000 month. 500 a week just for existing, I'll take it. And I'm here to say, Well, wait a second. Do you have any potential to make money? On top of that? Or to take that 2000 month. Do you have to give in to the overwhelming restrictions on your freedom? The liberties because of covert 19. What they're literally saying is 2000 month through the pandemic means we forcibly tell people don't go to work. We'll give you 2000 month. Now we're all relying on the government. Oh, by the way, if you're not working in businesses and happening in the economy isn't happening. This is paper money, Their plates play money. There isn't really 2000 month available to every American. Of course, those were making over 75,000 year, 100 or whatever it is, they will be getting it. Everybody else will. This is basically hush money. So you don't complain about your business being closed? This is basically hush money. So you don't complain about your job not being available to you. This is basically hush money to stop you from complaining about the unbelievable restriction in our liberties and our freedoms. And this is hush money, so we'll continue to listen to the idiot Fauci and others. This isn't okay. This doesn't help the economy. It hurts. The economy will go on All those people take that $2000 and go buy stuff. We're gonna buy the very things closed. And Historically, when people just get some free money, they're not necessarily very smart about it. Carrie. You remember? Was it 2005 Hurricane Katrina? Yes. Remember, the government gave out a payment of $2000 on like a like a prepaid visa? Yeah. We got $2000. One guy bought one bottle of champagne that cost $2000. Another guy went down to the strip club and blew it in one night. Another guy went down about a break Big screen TV. You're telling me that handing people free money is going to ensure they're gonna be responsible with it. Or maybe if you open the economy, let them go to work. They have to earn the money. They will be responsible with it, Pay their rent, pay their mortgage by their food pay for the kid's clothes. Maybe go to the movies together, going to go to the restaurant, But if you just hand them the money, it is found money and they're not going to respect it. I mean, anybody I might not have you to say Here's free 2000. I'm like. Damn, that's on top of all my bills. Everything else that already had Lou let me go out and buy something stupid. This is not the way to do it. But then you ask yourself well, then why did they do it? The members of the squad in the other 47 people in the house. Do they care about Americans? More than anybody else? You want to give them money? No. They want to be able to say, Remember the money we gave you. The election coming up, Keep them in mind. This again is about power control. She's a member of our church. I said, scanning the other familiar faces on the same particular page. I've never seen her before. In my life, she continued, She leaned back to snap a bite from the snacks, she just unwrapped. That's because she never comes to church. I said fully expecting her curiosity to be met a moment passed Wait a second, she began to analyze. How can she still be a member of the church is she doesn't really want anything to do with the church. I put my arm around her and pulled her close. Very good question, honey. We're opening up. Um, Here's the problem is that everybody right now is suffering from different things. They're people who are worried and have lost people took over. It had had people really sick. There's long haulers. And then, of course, there's the impact on the economy that it it's really just shut down the the hospitality business, which is, you know restaurants. Live entertainment movie theaters, you name it. They're We've been trying to figure out ways around that right home delivery things like that we talked about maybe opening up outdoors. If people will keep the distancing. We could do that in California. You can't in Nebraska. I mean, you can't do it everywhere You can't do in taco, you know, but you can't do it. Not in the mountains along the shore and inland even a bit. You could bring the space heaters out. There are things that we can do to help. But this ain't the right thing. Hey, made fun of President Biden wearing his mask. He famously took his mask off when he was around other people and still sick. He got into his vehicle number when he got in his car and drove around Walter Reed Hospital and in Bethesda, Maryland, and wave to people after he got there when he was still contagious and other people in the car with him. His storm on the capital is going to cost more lives, probably in the long run. When Capitol officers and members of Congress and others are testing positive for covert. That was AH huge Super spreader event. We've had the sharpest rise and poverty rate in more than 50 years because of this, and that is a big part that fuels the governor's actions. There's people that are complaining and crying. I've been crying. I don't mean to say that in a way that I meant crying out that they need help, and they're right. But we can't pull it off by ourselves. You know, we're like the fourth or fifth largest economy in the world. I always forget the number. But that doesn't really matter when it comes to something like this, because we can't print money. But other countries can you know they can go into debt. We can't At the end of the month. We gotta pay the bill. The federal government could do that. This This'll Republican administration from the last four years, the same Republicans in the Conservatives used to cry. Oh, what about the deficit? Look what the Democrats are doing to the deficit. When in fact mostly deficit is, you know, fueled by By a defense spending. These. These Republicans he's far concert for Foa. Conservatives are the ones that get me they kill me the most is that there's such hypocrites. And now they're talking about spending on the bike administration. Let me just say this again that the Trump Administration situation Lord the taxable raid on corporations from 35 to 21%. That's almost half I mean, that's pretty hard to imagine. That you could pass something like that. Without thinking of a moment like this. I mean, nobody could have accurately predicted this pandemic, although many people did. In 2018, By the way, when we passed this huge tax cut was the year that we pulled CDC assistance in Wuhan to help them study transmissibility between mammals and humans. 2018, of course, is also when we, uh we ignored not only the Beijing Embassy visit to Neurology Institute of the one in Wuhan and their cable back to the State Department saying Holy crap, We have to help these people. This is dangerous at that same time. The president was giving trillions of dollars back. Corporations. And now people listening to me or wondering how they're going to pay their bills, how they're going to open up. Well, if we open up right now, if we put business in front of health We're gonna lose all of it. All of it. Then we have over 500,000 dead. In the United States. And it's going to keep going up. I mean, there's a good chance by late February will be having the equivalent of 29 11 today, too. Mm hmm. So I really don't know what to say. I don't know. I mean, I voted for Gavin Newsom. Um, and I think he's had moments. This ain't one of them. Billionaires are thriving in this country as the poor suffer. There are thousands of billionaires. In California. In the Bay Area. Be like my brain had been county Attorney Mike Freeman, announcing third degree murder and manslaughter charges against Officer Derek Shelvin Existence. Let's dog back in line and three dragons. We did it. We did it, Jones. You're gonna be the next president of the United States. I shot this office to restore the Soul America to reveal the backbone of this nation. Middle class Here is ABC news correspondent Alex Stone 2020. You gotta shake your head. How many of us are happy to see this year fading away? How many times have your Facebook or instagram friends posted about wanting to forget about 2020? It has been a year of some ups that arguably more downs and lots of division this hour. We're going to take you back to some of the biggest stories of the year told by our ABC news teams. We'll relive those moments of suspense, tension and even some joy that made up 2020. Let's begin with a story that shook up not just the U. S. But the world it began with a late night tweet. It was October 2nd. The campaigns were in full force. President Trump was trying to get reelected, crisscrossing the country. And then it happened. The tweet that told the world he had contracted covert 19. In that moment, nobody knew what it would mean for the commander in chief, and at his age how his body would respond. Take you back now to the beginning of our coverage On that night, President Trump has announced in a tweet that he and first lady Melania Trump have tested positive for covert 19. His doctor said the couple would quarantine inside the White House. It is a jarring diagnosis for the 74 year old president, who, in remarks to a dinner Thursday night, said the end of the pandemic was in sight. I want to get straight to our White House correspondent ABC is Karen Travers. Karen, This follows the revelation that is close aide Hope Hicks had tested positive, but we're still not sure when we are hearing that she did test positive Wednesday night and has been symptomatic for covert 19. I want to turn to ABC News Medical contributor. Dr J bought Who's joining US from Chicago, where he's an internist, the president's physician, said the president was well but doctor, but he didn't say whether he was actually experiencing symptoms. It's not clear From the note from the White House position president position whether the president has had any symptoms at all. And so that will be interesting to watch in the next day. I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support. I'm going to Walter Reed Hospital. I think I'm doing very well. But we're going to make sure that things work out. The first lady is doing very well. So thank you very much. I appreciate it. I will never forget. Good afternoon. President Trump is being taken to Walter Reed Medical Center following his positive test for covert 19. White House said a moment ago. The president remains in good spirits and has mild symptoms and will be working from the offices at Walter Reed for the next few days. Let's get straight to our White House correspondent ABC is Karen Travers, Karen They're in good spirits. That's afraid that the doctor, the president's physician, wrote in his statement that came out about it a little more than an hour ago. And that's what the White House press secretary is now saying he is hard at work. We're having to slow him down a little bit. He's been on the phone with Senator McConnell Senator Lindsey Graham. But on the phone with chief of staff Mark Meadows, talking about emergency declarations offer states a swell a stimulus, so he's hard at work. Despite the mild symptoms, President Trump is now emerging from the White House. Helicopter over to Walter Reed Medical Center. Giving a wave to the assembled reporters. Before he left. The president received an experimental drug for mild symptoms, which included a cough and low grade fever. After he tested positive for the coronavirus. The White House insisted that vice president Pence was transferred. No power the president remains in charge. We heard earlier today that Joe Biden House Speaker Pelosi and a number of others in official Washington had been tested earlier today and most tested negative. There were a few positive test revealed, including Senator Mike Lee of Utah and a few other perhaps low level staffers at the White House. Good morning. President Trump's physician, Dr Sean Conley, is briefing reporters from Walter Reed Medical Center, where the president spent the night with covert 19. At this time, the team and I are extremely happy with the progress the president has made. Thursday, he had a mild coffin, some nasal congestion and fatigue. All of which are now resolving improving right now, All indicators are that the hill remain off of oxygen going forward, not received any supplemental. He's not on oxygen right now. That's right. Has he ever been on supplemental oxygen? He right now He is not on six. I know you keep saying right now. Should we read into the fact that he had been for yesterday and today he was not on Knox. So he has not been on it during this his cove in treatment. This is not an accident right now. I came here wasn't feeling so. Well, I feel much better now. We're working hard to get me all the way back. I have to be back. Because we still have tol make America great again. We've done an awfully good job of that. Good morning. We're about to hear from President Trump's Dr Sean Conley at Walter Reed Medical Center, where the president spent a second night following his covert 19 diagnosis, going to be listening for clarity about the president's condition After some conflicting information moments after Dr Conley said yesterday the president was doing great and improving. His chief of staff, said the president was not on a clear path to recovery..

"Hi this is joanie tomato and we have a new series. it's called exploratory. We kind of take a look behind the scifi curtain and also sciences. Well this will feature kind of documentary style. Podcast produced exclusively for exploratory. Here is part one of my look at unidentified. Flying objects sean. Fuller's wonderful book. The interrupted journey has been known to many of us and it was known to me certainly since my childhood and that particular case was very important i think in public awareness of this phenomenon just as an interesting footnote to that when john huston's documentary let there be light was restored and re released a number of years ago. The psychiatrist who was the man who interviewed betty and barney hill and conducted their hypnosis. Sessions was shown at work at walter reed hospital as they get close to the object two of them. The mother and the national guardsmen gene limit. They do see something going down off the side of the hill you films. What are they if they are alien craft where they here abductions are they real. what about. Why are these people being taken. How much does the. Us government really know. These are just some of the questions that have plagued both amateur and expert ufologist since we first noticed objects in this guy. This is trends on. Ufo's episode four. This is a first over three part series as we look at this phenomenon in real life as far as we know and also on screen big and small as always with trends interviews features are the only ones that i have conducted. Well look some real incidents and also filmmakers who were inspired by this phenomena. Let's start off with james app. Author of the outsiders guide to ufo's as he tells us about an early case at the start of the twentieth century in nineteen o nine. I'm a police officer. The town of peace england we very picturesque night of the soul. An object also since nineteen. Nine april may time of that and he was out late night soljic also city which he a seagal with light summit and it was moving very fast but he didn't say anything. I thought that they own the next few days and into about that will report similar Across the west midlands and pc catch vinci story now. This was reported in newspapers as being an object which was moving under strict control at high speed and with lights on the front back now time. Nineteen o nine. There was no british ship flying tool. It's been another year. Free and the germans were just only joust pro deciding some of their own separates day to a very school. None of them could carry. Searchlights generates weight of such. The question is what will the over england ninety nine course. The police officer appropriate study of forty two portes. Yet there's more of might look of. Ufo's on exploratory so stay tuned one of the most famous. Us cases was betty and barney hill. Cash from the nineteen sixties. I chatted with eleventh green director much about that case with. Ufo's there's always more questions than answers to me. Going back to the betty and barney hill case. All right so it did happen. So how does a woman with no knowledge of astronomy. Actually draw the reticulation star system at something that a normal person would not be able to do. So that's a question that we still don't have an answer to john. Fuller's wonderful book. The interrupted journey Has been known to many of us and it was known to me certainly since my childhood and that particular case was very important i think in public awareness of this phenomenon and it's interesting just as an interesting footnote to that when john huston's documentary let there be light was restored and released a number of years ago. The psychiatrist who was the man who interviewed betty and barney hill and conducted their hypnosis. Sessions was shown at work at walter reed hospital treating shell shocked soldiers after the second world war and to see him. Actually an action was was truly amazing. Dr simon leave his name was and i believe the film that was made of that story. I forget what the title was but it started. Still parsons and James earl jones and bill Really really one of the best films on on that. Ufo related topic. Yeah i believe they actually use the the the transcripts from this session as the dialogue of the film. So they were. They tried to keep it as accurate as possible. Special effects wise aliens could have been a little better but they didn't have a huge budget so they just kinda did the best they could but the impact is a story and to great actors bringing both of them to life really added a lot of cloud to me in that in. That's really stood out to me absolutely. You're absolutely right. There is more my look at e. t.'s and ufo's on trends. I christopher leonard than the composer on the theory of supernatural and you're listening to sci-fi talk a lot about a lot more about our show and a lot more about all sifi. Let's go back to one. Thousand nine hundred fifty two in the case was the flatwoods monster. Here is filmmaker. Seth breedlove town. Munster's this is very different from that. They really just centers around one or two nights Nineteen fifty two september nineteen fifty two other. There were five kids playing football on a football field down in this valley. Which in the middle of this. We're in the middle of west. Virginia here so it was kind of classic You know the hills and hollers thing and flatwoods sits in a in a little holler kind of So it's down in this riddle valley and it's ringed around by all these mountains and these kids are grand football mainly notice this strange sort of was of objects going across the sky very slow actually in fact. That was what caught. Your eye. Didn't necessarily seem like a you know like a classic sort of media or anything like that. It seems very odd to them that it was it was going so slow guy. Nelson seem to be Glowing it wasn't necessarily on fire. Something seems off about it. Obviously i mean considering unknown crashing across the sky but it comes to land at the top of this hill Right above the the southfield there. It's maybe a quarter a mile from where they think we clearly see. It landed on the top of the hill. So so they decide they're going to walk up to the top of the shield and find this whatever it landed on the way up. The hill They stopped at their houses. Their houses right on the way down the hill. And they've up to the boy's mom and another name gene leonard who was seventeen at the time And was in the national guard and the seven of them. Start up this hill To find this object that's landed at the hill as they get up close to the object Two of them the mother. The national guardsmen gene limit. They do see something going down off the side of the hill that they think might be the object but before they can really do any investigation the hear something behind them me turn One of the boys. The COVID VIP treatment

"All right. So what happened in the last week that was newsworthy okay. Something about someone came down with something someone or someone's the president called covert nineteen and was basically a super spreader event at the White House and ton of the people in his orbit also came down with covered nineteen. I think it was one, thousand, nine, hundred, Steve Count messed I heard. Wow, ironical. So it highlights the fact that this pandemic it's still ongoing it's very infectious agent. You have to be extremely careful one of the things that came out of this though. So again, we're not trying to pick on trump, but this is something we have to talk about. There was a lot of confusion surrounding pretty much everything to do with with the president's infection. He went to Walter Reed Hospital which which is a military hospital and it's where the president would go when he gets sick and. The care that he received there was was odd it's not how would a regular person would have been treated that way there is something by the way if I could back up for a second in medicine, we do refer to recall VIP medicine where if you have a very high profile VIP patient, sometimes they get special treatment but the thing is it's usually not better than standard care. It sort of VIP care can often be worse because any. That biases, the decision making if you think about it, the clinical decision making should already be optimized to risk versus benefit and all that stuff. And anything that biases that is going to deviate from optimal it could only be good. That's the only. Time where where it's better medicine is obviously in the superficialities Tad. Service when a a Saudi prince, a literal Saudi prince basically bought the entire floor of the hospital. For him to stay yes. You get that kind of treatment but the actual medical care unless like you can't pay for things well, and that's the real problem in our country. Right? Is that some people are getting not optimal care simply because they can't afford not optimal care right and actually. To be honest with you if you're sick, you know most people are getting the care that they need enshrining for to the. Hospital just does it and worries about getting paid for it later to be honest with you and they are sort of baking into the whole system taking a loss. But regardless of how you feel about trump like he is the president, which means he needs to be well as soon as possible. Be Getting. The best care should. Carry that we can deliver. But where the VIP care deviates from optimal is when they do things like give experimental treatments you know. I think drugs that usually only give people when they're. Right he got he got one experimental treatment, a monoclonal antibody. He received the rent. Vir, which is pretty standard but again usually. Given in severe cases, but the the real the real curious thing was that he was given steroids and steroids are usually reserved for people in the later stages the people who have the WHO get the immune reaction after the first week or so that sick when they're immune reaction like a really negative immune reaction kicks in then we give them steroids to sort of tamp that down you don't necessarily want to give them initially because they the steroids suppress the immune system, right might suppress your ability to fight off the virus earlier. So there's no prophylactic kind of benefit to. Perhaps he was sicker than they let us. Yeah. So there's a mismatch between what we're being told about how was and what we were being told about what he was getting and I tell you I'll say when I become a super VIP and I go to the hospital and by a floor whatever I do I will say give me the standard of care but add on demand. Foot massages. Treat. Strategy that's your VIP tree. That's fine. But he got steroids and so pretty evasion oxygen. Actually Multiple Times Oxygen Standard Your. Drop you're right but but that's what I'm saying like maybe he was sicker than we thought because within the first lake apparently, he got oxygen while he was still at the White House before they decided to bring him in and then the doctor was really cagey about whether or not he was still needing oxygen supplementation. You correct we're kind of talking about two different things. So you're correct in that there's a mismatch between the different things that we're being told. When did he contract it? When did he know? Was He? When did it become symptomatic? How sick was he did he require oxygen? Did he have pneumonia the his doctors being cagey about all of these things but we did learn that he did on two occasions. Occasions was temporarily given supplemental oxygen because Oh two's rations dropped, which means there was some pulmonary involvement but the steroids is a different issue I. Don't think that's a manifestation of him being sicker than we were told because he would not be out of the hospital now if that were the case. That's a manifestation I. think of them throwing everything at him to get him better as quickly as possible even if it's not necessarily the best thing. It could backfire sicker. Yeah. I I don't know what's going on behind closed doors but. Wouldn't give that at this stage of the illness and I've read multiple articles of of of covert nineteen treating doctor saying just doesn't make any sense this. There's no scenario where he should be getting steroids at

How Sick Is Donald Trump?

"How sick is donald trump in a video he posted this weekend from hospital. He said he faced a test and his expression was certainly that of a man who is less than healthy but coupled with conflicting reports on the president's health with one doctor saying he was better but another confirming the use of a drug usually reserved for the gravest of ill patients, the communication seem in disarray, and then suddenly the president emerged in his car to greet well-wishers gathered outside the Walter Reed. Hospital. Monaco's US election correspondent has more. Well on Sunday, we did get fatty remarkable sight of a convoy of cars traveling around the complex the Medical Center where Donald Trump is receiving treatment He was in the back seat of one of the vehicles wearing a mosque waving the people who have traveled in some cases huge distances right across the country to be at the medical complex and to wish the president. Well, it followed a weekend of fairly a fairly confusing picture of. The timeline of when the president tested positive when he and his White House staff knew of the diagnosis but also of his The state of his health as well. We have been told that over the weekend, he was given a supplemental oxygen treatment twice at two points during the weekend and he was also given steroids neither medical commentary that's come out around that over the weekend suggests that the infection could have been fairly severe that for other cases for other patients being treated for the Corona Virus that steroids example only used if the infection is fairly severe. Doctors have said that they may well discharge the president some point. Either on Monday today or this coming week Joe Biden Donald. Trump's rival for the White House. He announced again that on Sunday he had been tested once more on the test had. Proven negative. There is a suggestion that because it's a little unclear exactly when the president was infectious and potentially contagious with corona virus that whether diagnosis for Joe Biden himself which show up yet it does take around five days. So medical commentators in the United States are saying sometimes much longer that Joe Biden has said he will travel to Florida this week for a campaign event. He is stating that he is getting tested regularly. There is some commentary exactly around the nature of those tests are an elsewhere in the President Circle William Bar the attorney general on Sunday was that he is now self isolating as well. He was at that event at the White House on the Saturday at the unveiling of Amy Barrett as the nominee for the supreme court to replace. Wreath Ginsburg it does appear that many of the positive infections that have now come and being reported for many of Donald Trump's closest allies now does seem to be circling in on that event on that Saturday particularly on the indoor reception that took place within the White House on that day. So it's still an unpredictable picture and an unprecedented one as we am to these final weeks of the election campaign

Physician's comments raise questions on Trump's COVID-19 timeline

"Late tonight president trump posted a lengthy address to the nation via twitter from Walter Reed Hospital talking about Kovic, and his condition. The president says he is feeling better and thinks he will be back soon. A now day after leaving the White House for the hospital the questions are only growing a briefing from his medical team added to the confusion raising new questions about when the president knew he was sick and a White House official painting the less rosy picture that his medical team saying the next forty eight hours are critical. We're going to work through all of this for you tonight with our reporting from across the country and our medical expert we begin with Kelly O'Donnell who is it? What to Read Medical Center? Ten White Coats stepping forward for the first time with an assessment of the hospitalized presence condition team and I are extremely happy with the progress. The president has made. That optimism from White House physician Sean Connolly was quickly followed by confusing information about when the president became ill to seventy two hours into the diagnosis now. That would mean a Wednesday diagnosis. Not Thursday suggesting president trump knowingly traveled to a Minnesota Rally and a fundraiser at his Bedminster Club in New Jersey with Cova. But later, the White House issued this memo to correct the timeline Dr Conley writing I incorrectly used the term seventy, two hours instead of day three Thursday afternoon following. The News of a close contact is one week repeated testing. and giving kind of clinical applications at a little bit more concern. Another issue use of Supplemental Oxygen Dr Conley spoke in present tense. He's not on oxygen right now. That's right. And evaded when reporters repeatedly pressed for clarity there's Day. No oxygen none at this moment. Yeah, and yesterday with the team while we were all here, he was not on Oxygen But the Associated Press and New York Times report that President Trump was given oxygen Friday before he was hospitalized and more worrisome a source familiar with president trump's condition told reporters today the next forty eight hours will be critical in terms of his care. We are still not on a clear path to a full recovery.

What Trump's Covid-19 diagnosis means for the country

"Were always joined on Saturday morning by John Gizzi. He is the White House correspondent and chief political columnist of newsmax dot com and Newsmax TV, John. Good morning. Good morning, Rick. And what a night it wass. Well, obviously, we're following the latest developments on President Trump and his diagnosis with covert 19. What is the latest you're hearing on the president. The president is resting comfortably at the Walter Reed Hospital where yesterday he left the White House. And arrived at the hospital. I might and he left the White House in his usual business suit looking as he always does. Uh, this is not someone who has been felled by the virus. But simply has symptoms of the Corona virus, and he will rest there until doctors say he can come out. Which effectively scotches the debate. Scheduled for October. 15th. But it doesn't mean he's going to be in the hospital through the rest of the campaign, and we may see a newer and better Donald Trump emerged from Walter Reed. For now, all signs are that he's resting and that this is not anything that Americans should be nervous about. John. We know the Corona virus hits each individual differently, assuming the best for the president, where he quarantines for the 14 days and gets through this What is the impact on the campaign for the impact on the campaign is that right now there's an absentee candidate that the president cannot have is make America great again Rallies. He cannot debate He cannot issue pronouncements, although one as the impression after covering Donald Trump for the past four years that no hospital and no confinement Ooh! Ah hospital bed is going to keep him away from his tweeting. Uh, hey, certainly can campaign that way. And another thing. We have a long history in America of candidates who are hospitalized or injured who actually do well as their supporters carry on for them. When he made his first center base in 1948 Congressman Lyndon B. Johnson was laid up for a period with very brutal, Cole. His wife, Lady Bird and others served is very effective Speakers and he went on to win hard fought race. I know of a case of another candidate, Arch war who was elected governor of West Virginia after surviving a helicopter crash. So just because it candidate is hospitalized or unhealthy doesn't mean it's a foregone conclusion. He'll lose well, John. Obviously, we know the polarization across the country and the polarization in the media. And there will be a lot of talk about the 25th amendment, and I just wanted to get sort of a factual look. At the 25th amendment. So when people hear the pundits talking about it, they understand it. Alright, 25th amendment was passed. In the late 19 sixties. It is known as the Presidential Succession Amendment. Its functions are twofold. One Puts into law what had been an informal agreement between presidents and their vice presidents. For a long time before them. And that means when the president is incapacitated, say is when he goes under the knife. For surgery, He turns over the powers. Of his office to his number two who effectively becomes acting President Richard Nixon served his acting president after a heart attack. President Dwight Eisenhower, and after a mild stroke, the president suffered Similarly, when Lyndon Johnson had surgery, Hubert Humphrey was the acting president and Dido for George H. W. Bush. Under Ronald Reagan when he had cancer surgery in his second term. The other part of the amendment is that if the vice president succeeds to the presidency, he or she can then designate Vice president that the Senate must give its advice and consent to I might add that when a president is declared unable to continue in his office for health reasons, the 25th amendment can be invoked. By the vice president and his succession to the top job can be insured. Post debate. Polls are now being released Thursday morning, NBC News National Polling had Biden up 7.9 points over President Trump Real clear politics showing Biden with a 6.6 lead over Trump Fivethirtyeight national polling tracker gave Biden the 7.6 advantage. President didn't seem to gain any ground whatsoever in the debates. Possibly lost some ground. What's your analysis is, we move forward. First of all, I do believe that the polls accurately reflect The post debate. Momentum is with Joe Biden, and it has very little to do with the debate itself. But with the media's interpretation of how candidates Trump and Biden acquitted themselves on national television, and of course, the opinion off the punditocracy is almost unanimous. The president was ruled. He interrupted. He had no consistent thought. And Joe Biden was a gentleman. That is their opinion. Which is being repeated by a lot of people. There's two factors that leaves this reporter to say that these numbers might have flaws in them. The first is the hidden vote. There's a lot of people, certainly, as was the case in 2016, who just won't admit they're voting for Donald Trump. Obviously they do so when they're in the voting booth. The other is that Joe Biden right now, by being cool, is holding on and appearing a front runner. Did. Donald Trump loses the debate? It all depends on who you ask. Chuck Booth, commentator and conservative activists from Nevada said the president decided to use this format to speak directly. To his base of supporters and try and rally them to the polls. He compared the president's performance and his refusal to abide by Time outs to the scene in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid when Butch is facing a much larger man and challenges him to a knife fight. And then says, but we have to go through the rules. The other man says there's no rules in a knife fight at which point which kicks him. And effectively weakens and subdues him. That's what the president's goal Wass with Joe Biden and to his base, he succeeded. So let's turn to the impact on the Senate and the Congress a lot of business to attend to, including the nomination of Amy Cockney Barrett to the Supreme Court. We take pause for well wishes from Democrats. But as we can see in the Chuck Schumer tweet, it is a one sentence pause. And then we're back into politics. Here's what he said Friday night. We now have two members of the Senate Judiciary Committee who have tested positive for covert and there may be more. I wish my colleagues well, so that's the nicety. And here's the politics. It is irresponsible and dangerous to move forward with the hearing, and there was absolutely no good reason to do so. Well, I would just say that the distinguished minority leader of the Senate, Senator Schumer should look a little bit more. At the rules of the Senate as wrong is there is a quorum of senators in the committee. They could move along, particularly if chairman gavels in now what he's referring to are Senator Mike Lee of Utah and Thom Tillis of North Carolina. Both Judiciary Committee members and both presently incapacitated by the Corona virus. Both could easily recover in a short time. Remember the Judiciary Committee hearings on drugs, Parrots nomination don't begin until the 14th of Oct over. So any judgments about Senator Tillis or Senator Lee? Not being in the job in two weeks is a bit premature. That's the Supreme Court debate. Let's talk about the stimulus deal. New York Times Reporting. Speaker Pelosi said that the president's positive Corona virus test could change the dynamic and produce a Nagre mint on additional pandemic relief. But a compromise remains elusive. The gist of it from Speaker Pelosi is that now the Republicans will take Corona virus more seriously. Well, where do we

Trump gets experimental drug aimed at curbing severe illness

"President Trump in first Lady Melania Trump test positive for Covad 19 coming up in a few minutes, we're going to check in with Elena train. She's the White House reporter for Axios. And is about it's plugged in. Is anyone with what's going on there right now, and the events that have unfolded over the past 24 hours. The president is about to make his way to Walter Reed Hospital. Marine One is standing by at the White House right now, the White House is saying that he's being moved there as a precautionary measure. Of course, we'll continue to monitor that storyline as well. Right now. I want to go straight to the hotline and joining us. For some expert analysis of these major developments is Dr Marissa Levin, director of the Center for Leadership and Public Health Practice and professor at the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Dr Levine thank you for joining us and let me start with some basics on this Corona virus we're hearing about when people tested positive when they became Symptomatic. What should everyone know and understand about the early stages of this virus. Good evening. It's great to be with you. The most important thing is that there may not be any symptoms and the critical thing is too. Really take full precautions to prevent catching this forest. I think what we're seeing today shows us that this is an easily transmitted virus basically got through the security of the White House. On. That means pretty much. Anybody can catch it if we let our guard down. Can individuals tests negative today but begin to experience symptoms or tests positive within the next few days? Yeah, That's a great question, because It could take a few days three or four before we actually Khun get a positive test after you've been exposed. So if we know you have an exposure say today, often they'll be a waiting period of about 4 to 7 days actually do a test just to be sure. And during that time, the critical thing for folks is you really need to quarantine yourself meaning separate yourself from other people. So you don't spread it, potentially, you have it. It's been the toughest thing about this virus. You can have it and not even know it but still spread it. For those experiencing mild symptoms or even moderate symptoms right now, and it appears that a couple of individuals who are part of this outbreak are feeling those kinds of symptoms. When could they start to subside or in a worst case scenario, get more severe. So generally, What happens is in the first week to 10 Days is the time period where we see either progression or resolution, and people who end up getting hospitalized usually get hospitalized somewhere. Around 10 to 14 days, maybe a little earlier after they've started symptoms, And so that's why we often see when we're seeing those numbers every day. That there's a lag time if the numbers go up. Until we actually see hospitalizations and then You know. Unfortunately, people are dying from this. Unfortunately, most people don't have symptoms and do well but but dying from this is the latest outcome. That takes Anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks. Really? To really show itself in the community, so that's a natural progression for somebody who's going to get worse. But the important thing is, most people do very well. The issue we have is if you're older, if you have underlying health issues You are at risk of complications and even death. And you really have to be careful to make sure you don't pick it up in the first place. And on that no President Trump's advanced age is wait. All concerns that are obviously getting a lot of attention talk a little bit more about how that factors into one's ability to recover. Sure, you know, we know a lot more now about Coke, and we know that age alone is a risk factor for more severe illness and death. One way to think about it is For people in their seventies. Based on everything we've seen, particularly in the United States and developed countries. Off 40 people who get it. On average. One person will die. So the good news is 39 people will recover. They may have some lingering effects or some other side effects that are concerning Um, but that's that's pretty significant and as your age goes up, it's even more likely to happen. Contrast that with people in their twenties, one average Yeah, you need to have about 20,000 young people at the age of 22 c one death on average. That's on average, and we had to that. In addition to age concerns, like high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma, other underlying lung conditions, diabetes Then your risk goes up, regardless of age. So these are important things for everybody in the community to take notice, Because at the end of the day, you kind of have to figure out what our own risk is. And then put in place appropriate protection. I'm joined by Dr Marissa Levin, director of the Center for Leadership in Public Health Practice and professor of the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida. Of course, we're talking about the story today. The president and first lady Melania Trump testing positive For covert 19 President Trump is about to make his way to Walter Reed Hospital. And what we're hearing from the White House is that this is a precautionary measure. The president will undergo some testing. Can you talk a little bit about some of the things that his doctors air likely monitoring him for? Sure, and let me send my wishes, speedy recovery to the end to the first lady and everybody who's picking up covert. Unfortunately, so the critical thing now is To make sure that we're knowing more about the progression. They don't have a lot of Good data that we can get early on. You really just have to monitor people make sure that they're supported fully. They're getting enough fluid there, eating well resting. But most importantly, no if the tide's turned for the worst, because We've heard that the president has gotten in experimental treatments, which shows promise on that could be very helpful, but we also need to know if the tide turns for worsening. When to use went to implement some of the other present therapies that have worked for people who are hospitalized. Mom, We know a lot more now. Our own positions in the Tampa Bay region have learned a lot and we don't see death as readily as when what we saw today in New York, with the first outbreaks Partly because we've learned that there are some things that could really help. That's what will be watching the positions will be watching for and then make decisions in terms of other therapies that could be and probably time. You mentioned the experimental treatment that the president is apparently receiving Regeneron's Polly clonal anti body drug. What can you tell us about that? What do we know about that? So we know a lot about the virus in its structure and how it catches the cells in our body on what's happened here is that this company has produced About to monitor called monoclonal antibodies, which are very specific to Ah play 18 on the surface of the virus called Spike Protein, one that connects to ourselves. And the idea here is that those antibodies will block so that there can't be a connection to the virus, and that then allows the body to go ahead and try to clear the virus. So Again. It's early. It's still experimental. We don't have all the data, but the company's at least saying that there's some positive signs for that. But I think that's obviously why the president being afforded the opportunity to use that. Again. We're learning as we go. We're learning a lot more about this virus, its effects and how to mitigate it. So I think it's important for all your listeners to remember to stay up today and make sure that they know what we know about the virus so that they can Take the appropriate
