New Tesla Powerwall, China Protest, Volkswagen Investigation
"Year and stay. We've got some news. On tesla energy. A new energy product actually called the power while plus we'll go through the details on that then we also have an update on the situation on the protest in china and some news on volkswagen slash volkswagen. I stay for tesla stock today especially in a downmarket. Tessa finishing up almost five percent. I green day sense earnings to seven hundred nine dollars. Forty four cents that compared to the nasdaq down about nine tenths of a percent. Interestingly on the rise today this was the highest volume day for tesla of the week and sense earnings about forty million shares trading hands. Even though fridays in general tend to be about five to ten percent less volume as we learned during the s. and p. five hundred inclusion analysis period. So interesting to see that. I didn't see a whole lot of news that would have driven the stock today. But oftentimes things that are not. News-based are what's driving the stock right. So let's talk about the power wall plus this was posted yesterday on reddit by user tang. Who said that they were just finalizing their designed for tessler today in san interesting thing power while plus they have shared at the spec sheet for the power while plus and this is a different product than tesla shows online with the power while to now a lot of the specs are the same here but what it looks like tesla has done has integrated some of the components that previously would have been separated in what looks like a continued effort to increase the ease of insulation. We heard yulon talk a lot about this. On tests earnings call and of course we had heard from on the week prior on twitter that tesla solar whether the solar glass roof or rooftop solar would only be sold with an accompanying power wall on the earnings call. Ilan said that he believes this is the most important thing about the solitary of situation noting that installations would be much easier because power from solar would only ever go to the power wall then the power. Walt self would be the only thing that we need to interact as a power supply to the house. Or interact with the grit. It sounds like increasing. The power capability of the power wall was also a key component. Here so not changing the energy but allowing it to provide greater power to be able to handle peak power

How to Vacation at Disney World, Without Stepping Foot in a Park
"We've done this a few times on our vacations which is vacationing at walt. Disney world. without going to the parks So i i know i enjoy it because we go so often. People always say like. Oh my gosh you know. Five days at disney. I'm just so tired because you know you get up early. Go to the park. Go to bed late and you kind of get burned out that way so this this is a good way to do disney just like any other resort so sharpie you wanna you wanna go with your first Tipper tidbit on vacationing disneyworld. Without going to the parks my first suggestion would be in the way you pack. I know that sounds crazy but always remember that. If you're if you're not going to the park you're you're gonna be dressing in mica resort in resort casual you. Can you can dress up a little bit more. If you're not going to the parks 'cause you know you need to be a little bit more comfortable but also you can take in some of the nicer restaurants and enjoy enjoy. The meal without being rushed so so think ahead to the type of things that you want to do while you're on vacation and pack more resort vacation instead of arcs vacation. That's my first gesture. This is definitely good advice. So you had to to expand on your point of taking this like a resort vacation. And that's how i kind of think of disney world. It's like a resort that you would go like a beach vacation where you go to resort Same thing that. Walt disney world. Where you go to a really nice resort but you just have the added benefit if you wanna go to a park for a little bit Or go to apcoa for dinner or something you could do that But just staying at your resort I i like the idea that where you can take it a more relaxed approach. Because i always feel like all right we gotta get dinner. We gotta get outta dinner. We gotta go see the fireworks over. We gotta be here So there's none of that you're just taking it

"Summers approaching and maybe were coming towards the end of this pandemic people. People from outside of florida are starting to plan. Walt disney world vacations. And if there's any luck we may be there once again in the summer and if you have never been in these seen if you have never been to walt disneyworld in the summer before recommends you bring a water bottle. Well we're gonna talk about a lot of things that make different than any time of year. Now we go with the exception of last summer. Twenty twenty every single summer at least once sometimes more than once so we are walt disneyworld. Summer experienced yes. So in this episode. We'll be sharing some of those differences and some of our tips as disney summer travellers first of all and most obvious is it is hot. I think that's quite an understatement. It is very hot. You're on the face of the sun robert that you know i'm going to start this by saying a couple of years ago. Maybe three or four now can't remember exactly tie five. We were there for record-setting heat so it was hundred and twenty five or something like that. I'll have to look back. It was scorching hot. It was so hot that the orlando sentinel front. Page said power grids strains under pressure of air conditioners. Which you know it's florida. You don't expect that to be happening a lot. They said it was hot even for them. Cast member said this is hard even for us and i remember walking. We were staying at animal kingdom lodge at that time and i remember walking. We had to rent a car because it was the summer and we do barrel beach to along with disneyworld on that big. They make those great bobblehead collectibles. You can purchase online or in stores but the opportunity to embrace to invest in baseball card. Collectibles is really neat. You know tops is not a small company more. It's been around for a decades sales last year. Rose twenty three percent year over year. Two five hundred sixty seven million bucks. This is going to be not an immaterial deal. The company will have about five hundred seventy one million cat in cash from the merger. I really like that. Collectibles market is an alternative investment avenue. That i've been interested for a long time.
Simulations Come to Life
"Computer. Modeling can be used to look at everything that could happen. End to end from the moment a spacecraft touches the atmosphere to the time it comes to rest on the surface of another planet. Here's carly's i'm walt. A flight mechanics engineer at nasa langley research center to explain this. Integrative approach to engineering so we do a lot of work in the computer based world. and it's our job to understand the different components of the spacecraft and pull those altogether in the simulation to give an estimate of how the vehicles going to perform during flight. So mara something. Tony is very exciting. A lot of people. We'll go to whole careers and never see a project through to the end where we're really lucky in this program so we get a chance to see on some occasions emission land. Which is i think an unbelievable experience to actually see all together and see it come to life
Only in Hollywood
"There's a soviet film from nineteen seventy five called hedgehog in the fog. It's only ten minutes long. It's been called the best animated film of all time for the You're at your committee. Runco she said. I know surgeries now truly. Actually russian animation is a kind of an art. Form the cartoons. They're they're made without the restrictions that your typical american cartoons are like they don't have to be twenty six minutes long space for commercials didn't have to have these continuation of a story. Once the episode this over backing the soviet russia the cartoons were made purely as a way to sort of entertain the kids of course but also as a kind of as kind of arts. They were only as long as they needed to be. The only told the story the way it ought to be told without anything else. And i think people who have seen them. They would easily agree with my statements. It's really something to be seen in may of nineteen twenty eight. Mickey mouse was introduced by walt disney within a few years. Disney animation's were so popular that they're being shown around the world including at a film festival in moscow in nineteen thirty three soviet viewers including joseph stalin fell in love the slogan. Give us a soviet. Mickey mouse became popular and three years later in nineteen thirty six the animation studio so use multiple opened in moscow. A version of it still exists today and many of the films are admired for their sophistication and lack violence as one director. Put it in our films. There's always been less aggression. We stake darla not on action but on psychology humor and a dialogue with the viewer. It came out of the tradition of russian folktales hedgehog in the fog follows a worried seeming hedgehog who gets lost in a thick fog. He surprised by all the animals. He encounters who he writes a fish even by the end when he safe. It doesn't feel like a happy ending definitely not a disney ending in the final frames. The hedgehog is still anxious
The Music of World Showcase in EPCOT
"If i say the music of epcot what's the first song that comes to mind. Probably something from future world and as we covered extensively back on show six nine six ten future world has background scores and attraction and so show themes that not only. I think resonate with us but are enjoyed by us beyond just our time in the parks. They are on our playlists and in our ears when we drive run exercise. I'm obviously like reaching and assuming those last two or whether we're just relaxing at home but why which is my favorite word. And i think it's probably because so. Many of these songs were created by disney for disney they are original themes built around the theme using the time-tested recipe of what makes disney music so memorable but for the other half of the world. Showcase much of the music is not only traditional but helps to set the stage and represents the culture of the participating nation. And these aren't songs. I think that we would normally associate with a theme park experience. Either that is like if we're talking about walt disney world But some of my favorite songs. That dizzy songs are found in many of these background. Loops of not just future world. But some of these world showcase pavilions and they always seem to bring a smile to my face as they hear them. Whenever or wherever i am and i said on the intro to the epcot show that that the music is very much a melting pot of so many cultures ideas ideals technology and different flavors. And it's a place that you can hear music that is as diverse as the pavilions and cultures and speaking of diverse. I want to continue our musical journey from future world to world showcase once again with friends who helped kick off this musical odyssey so i'd like to welcome back to the show. Lisa denote glasner from the castle. Run and core memory candles dot com to be back. Jason connect from here with the magic and the after our show on the facebooks. Hello it's good to be back with you guys and the one and only zac brown from the one and only the zac brown show. Everybody excited to be here. So i am excited for this. And i'm curious to one because i want to see if hopefully we can beat or not break record long. Our future world discussion was. But i think and i'm curious because we don't talk about this ahead of time how this may differ. Because i think again so many of those future world songs and themes are ones that we can mention by name. Papillon came up again. I think exactly you know if it was a drinking game and papillon was your word. You're in some serious trouble but so much of world showcases different because one. We can't pronounce many of the names the songs they don't necessarily roll off the tongue and they're not one that we might necessarily know by name but we know in terms of how they make us feel and they are there are some pavilions that have themes or some that. Just have background music that we enjoy very quickly. When and they'll round in the same order. When you think of world showcase when you think of world showcase music what is the first song idea pavilion. Thought that comes into your mind for me. I remember when we sat down to do or when was sitting down to prep for the future world. Show i joked that. I've never felt so prepared and so unprepared at the same time for a topic because it was like it was a topic. That's just sort of ingrained in my soul but at the same time i didn't know quite how i was going to articulate it and This show said hold by juice because like the rest of disney right is supposed to sort of insulate you from the rest of the world and i think the unique thing about showcases that it has the opposite job. It's supposed to transport you into the rest of the world. And so while you know so much of the music throughout disneyworld otherwise as supposed to sort of encapsulate you and bring you into this place. You know. the imaginary kind of didn't do their job right right if they did. If that's the result of in world showcase because the point of showcases to make you feel like you're not in central florida. It's supposed to make you feel like you're traveling around the world. As you're walking around world showcase so i don't know if i have a quick good answer to like what song first comes to mind. it i mean i could say something. Easy like golden dream of course. Which is you know sure. We'll talk about that more But now i think it's it's like background stuff. Like le vian rose and like the stuff that green and like that. The the the music that i just associate. Because i'm here. So much with walking around world showcase but at the same time you know like you said in the intro. It's not necessarily music that you're supposed to associate with a theme park. Don't you have a green sleeve. The greens leave story to which will have to get to. Because i remembered crossing the bridge an international gateway with you and i said isn't the screen sleeves using it yet and then you told me a story from your childhood is i am. I am right. I mean who doesn't have a green sleeve story like there's a green sleeve story and i want to don't jump ahead of ourselves but that really from my childhood i whistle. Inslee leaves all the time and it makes my mother crazy. Maybe i was just hoping it was from your childhood. Okay i i mean to answer the question. What's the first song pavilion jumps to mind. It's gotta be mexico and it's got to be the three cobb heroes right like that's got to be no actually. It's not that i think. The the for me world showcase had an anthem and no it can't be eliminations but it had an anthem. It would be basically the soundtrack to impress his france. Of course which. I am super excited about francine far away i know he s- t and wonderful. We'll get there For me it's kind of an unfair answer. I think about the international gateway. It's kind of this. Great little collaboration of everything that you're going to experience it's kind of the coming attractions. You know like lisa said you've got le vian rose and you've got a little bit of music piping in from like the china pavilion and everything just kind of blends and it just sets the overall tone and of prepares you for the pallet. That is in front of you whether it be musical or food you kind of preps you and gets you in the mindset that is world showcase and for me you know if i was to close my eyes and just say world showcases a couple of songs that jumped right to the top but one of them and this is actually a great way for us to begin. I think is. There is a world showcase background loop and being disney enthusiasts that you are. I'm pretty sure. It exists on your iphone or ipod your spotify playlist because this is one of the ones that i think people do have an play when their home or even in their cars or when they're working or walking or just relaxing and while you might not necessarily know the names of the songs if you were to listen through it and serbia following along this. This item list of the music yelich like. Yes inca dance by cousteau. That's my favorite song. Although you wouldn't walk into sam goody's not that there's a sam goodies but go with me here. You wouldn't walk in goodies and say i need incan dance on forty five guys have that. But i love the world showcase loop that you can hear on both entrances to where you could. We'll talk about some of the changes that came about relatively recently but those are some of the songs that i hear that like the future world entrance mentally
Disneyland to reopen on April 30 as Disney+ surpasses 100M global subscribers
"California's Disneyland is set to reopen April 30th with limited capacity more than a year. After being shut down amidst the pandemic. During this time, the company is doubled down on its streaming efforts with Disney Plus and ESPN. Plus our Ludlow has more at Yes, Disney is one of these stocks one of the companies of the pandemic right Disney, Plus such a big part of that the company is my Bloomberg and look at this chart because if you go all the way back before the pandemic, you have to remember that the parks was such a big piece of the Disney story. The Bloomberg terminal, which hope you can get up in the second shows that there's a proportion of overall revenue. Here it is. Parks experiences a merchandise. Was topping 40% in many of the quarters leading up to the pandemic. You can see on the far right hand side of your screen and then drops off, But there's signs of recovery. So it's kind of no wonder that investors are cheering the reopening because once again, it will continue to be an important contributor to the top line. But Disney Pass really is the story. And if we take a look at how subscribers have grown for Disney, plus Look at that astonishing at the pace of growth since launch to more than 100 million subscribers today, So where does that leave us? What is Disney Is Disney a immediate company? It is. Isn't this great entertainment giant that we've always know if you look at it share price against Netflix, which is trying to catch up with industry space and also six flags. Which, of course, is the theme park Isolated theme park company You can see over the last 12 months, six Flags has done astonishingly well. It's recovered. It's part of this reopening trade their Netflix, which did so well at the end of 2020 the stay at home trade of all of our streaming. That recovered Disney Somewhere in the middle. You could argue that it's both a reopening trade on the stay at home trade, because as long as we're stuck at home, we're watching things on Disney plus with streaming. But is the economy recovers on the vaccine? Rollout improves? Look it there middle of the pack. It benefits from that reopening because it's other business areas, then recover like parks like cruise ships. Like merchandise, so it's certainly want to watch going forward. It's really adapted and pivoted during the pandemic, Emily But what happens when life goes back to normal? That's what I wanna know. Disney Right. The company is so different than it was even a year ago. I'd love lo there. Thanks so much. I spoke about all of that. With the CEO of Disney himself Bob Shaye pack earlier this morning. He expressed his optimism. About the reopening and what the rest of the year holds. Take a listen. We're thrilled with the response that we're seeing from our guest in terms of future reservations and intend to come back to our parks. I think it's a function of two things number one confidence that you know we're seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for the pandemic. But also tremendous trust in our brand. You know, we've been able to operate across the world it Walt Disney World, For example, for the last nine months, and we've done so responsibly. We've had the MBA bubble that was so successful, and I think guests know that Disney is going to do it right. And that brand trust really leads them to want to come back to our parks and experience the magic and knows that we're going to be responsible as we do that, and they can have a great time. So the date is April 30th for California. But you're You've got 15% capacity limits in the red Here. You could get up to 25% if we get into the orange tear. Heads were thrilled, but investors want to know. Can you make money with these kind of limitations? No out of state residents as well. As we've said From the very beginning, there's a couple requirements for us to reopen the park first one as I mentioned as we have to be able to do so responsibly and make sure that everybody has a great time while also being safe at the same time. Were only going to open up. If it could be a creative to shareholder value. We're going to be able to cover our variable expenses and make a contribution towards profit. And that's been the case since we started re opening our parks nine months ago, and that will be the case with Disneyland. So we're confident we can do that, and, of course, as conditions improved, and the constraints are relieved. We'll be there to ramp up and make sure that everyone has a great time and welcome even more people back to the magic of Disney. So what are some of the new technologies that you've used over the last year that you think might stick around post pandemic Will temperature screenings continue. For example. Will you use the reservation system? Ah, lot more. Well, in addition to all the health guidelines that we've been following across the world, you know masks temperature checks, increased hygiene, six ft. Social distancing. We're also going to be introducing a new reservation system that's going to enable our guest have a great time, no matter when they choose to come to Disney. Of course, nobody ever wants to go through a pandemic, but our teams here have been hard at work. Making sure that when we re emerged that we're going to do so, in a way that's actually going to improve the guest experience, even versus a pre pandemic situation and our guest satisfaction score since we've re opened across the world have shown that indeed Our guest star even more satisfied than they were prior to the pandemic. We've learned some things we've learned to operate under constraints. All the time by delivering this is great saying Disney magic that you expect, but you know, we we've been in a fortunate situation where we've had a lot of demand in the past. In many cases that has exceeded what we can actually supply in terms of how many people we can put in the park, and there's been no situation that's been, you know, more like that than we've had upon reopening and really having operate under some really tight constraints, But we've gotten even better and better at it, And I think it's going to create a reemergence scenario where Magic is going to be even greater for our guests when they do come back to our
Disney Aims to Reopen Disneyland and California Adventure Parks at 'Limited Capacity by Late April'
"We do have a an end in sight with the opening of disneyland resort in anaheim california. So we're we're gonna see it open. That's exciting and so. Initially there was news that it would open april first and of course it is restricted. But it looks more based on. What we've we've heard from ceo bob Jap iq that. It might be leader in april and they've got a call thousands and thousands like ten thousand cast members that have been furloughed. They've got a call them all back and not only do they need refresh irs because it's been a year They need to be retrained because there are full year it has. It has been a year almost to the day well today but this week marks the the week that things started closing down last year. So i remember that day very well when we were podcasting and we couldn't believe that disney was shutting down and as we were recording that episode or no stuff just kept coming in as we were recording. I was very enclosing. This amazing that they're closing this closing bill o. Voice yeah it was very quick it was like do you think they'll close. They just closed it now. As a matter of fact yes. I do believe they will close very quickly so They've got to get all those cast members back and retrained. Now it is exciting the reopening but there are some caveats. it'll be at fifteen percent capacity. And initially they presume that it'll be restricted to california residents. Only so. Don't book your plane ticket anytime soon. can you imagine getting to do disneyland. At fifteen percent capacity.

I worked on the kilimanjaro safaris animal kingdom way back in the day so this should be no problem for you. We're gonna start our trivia here in the magic kingdom. Okay so when you're walking down main street you see all these flags. Well they're not like actual. American flags are slightly different. What is the difference in the flag. So leave it's the number of stripes the numbers. They're just a little bit. Yeah yeah they took out a striped so that we don't need to follow the national flag. Because who wants to walk down you see the flags at half mast and all that stuff they want to keep them up and keep everything. Happy there when you when you first walk into the park. So they removed a stripes. They don't need to follow the National flag code all right. How about this one. This one's an interesting one. I think how close is the next garbage can. Oh it's oh my goodness. I used to notice it. Something like every eighty steps every thirty steps. Can you believe that thirty sturdy steps away from bet you close. Yeah that's that's okay. All right let's Let's try this last one here and working there. You probably a left something behind much. Like two hundred and ten people each day. Leave this item. Disney smashes streaming subscriber expectations
"We start off with disney delivering in its latest company smashing streaming expectations the stock higher in the after hours session. Let's get straight to julie abortion. Who is fresh off that disney call julia. Melissa earnings call underway right now. The stock up nearly three percent after the company exceeded expert expectations on the top line in reported a profit rather than the loss analysts anticipated. Now the two key areas in focus parks and streaming both outperformed expectations disney's streaming business outpaced projections going to ninety five million disney plus subscribers and one hundred and forty six million total direct. To consumer customer is now that includes hulu and espn plus that division grew revenue seventy three percent from the year earlier quarter especially pleased with the success of our correct. The consumer business and our recent strategic reorganization has enabled us to accelerate. The company. Said it was a dc first business model and further grow our streaming services disney plus has exceeded even our highest expectations. Meanwhile the parts visions revenue dropped less than anticipated down by fifty three percent the company announcing that covert has headed two point six billion dollar impact on the parks divisions operating income as a result of closures and reduced capacities. Where we've been able to reopen are with limited capacity guest have consistently demonstrated a willingness and a desire to visit which we believe is a testament to the fact that they feel confident. In the health and safety protocols we've put in place average daily attendance at walt disney world significantly from q for q one japex saying they're continuing to invest to build out different features of their parks and they said they are very pleased with the reservations and consumer interest in visiting parks. Melissa of course that's going to be in focus as they start to get to be able to increase their capacity in florida and are allowed to open up here in california. All right julia. Thank you julie. Borsen the latest on disney. Which is up three percent after hours. Dia dommie how do you like the stock. How do you like what they said on this. Call well kudos again. I mentioned the last night sort of took a pass on the kudos. I'll give it to her anyway. And tim who've been all over this and so listen. I'm not a huge fan of treadmills and this is going somewhere. Mel by the way suggest indulge me for a second but you get on a treadmill. You go eight miles an hour maybe walk. Maybe put down your honor for forty five minutes but when you get off your exactly where you started and i bring that up because listen. It's great that they keep adding people to disney plus i get it but as rich greenfield amongst. Many others pointed out our food down twenty-eight percent every year i'll tell you what that means because that's the game we play here but effectively a lot of ways that running in place. Now the naysayers will say. That's a bad thing. That's going to lead to decline in stock. And the optimists will say they're going to be able to monetize all those people there all by drew barrymore short with the delorean on it and those types of thing and maybe they'll go mr toad wild ride when the parks reopened. I'm not nearly as optimistic. So it's not a great ride valuations now or at levels where i don't think it necessarily should be okay and then it pick up on that point because i also read that tweet so this past quarter the arp average revenue per user was four dollars and three cents for disney plus and a year ago is five dollars and fifty six cents. Tim should we not care about this at this early stage of growth for disney for the streaming service. I don't think so. I mean i no. I don't think so. And i think you know guy may be like george jetson on the treadmill. I avoid treadmills i. I'd rather be out there and disney's running through the streets right now with with ninety five million and essentially when you add in hulu and espn plus. We heard those numbers. This strategic reorganization is part of the excitement. Here again. this division is up. Seventy three percent during a period when netflix is been in a sweet spot of engaged in couldn't be in a better position disney's outperform the stocks outperform disney from net flicks by almost forty percent since since august. But even over the last couple of years it's outperformed net flicks which we would all certainly agree is also making a move especially in terms of profitability. But again do we care about that. With netflix's should we care about that with disney when also they're showing that they can at least be profitable and their core business through very difficult times on the way out of kobe. So look i understand the profitability issues. At some point disney's got to create their own content. We know that's very expensive. But if you're asking me you know from from an investor's perspective. Am i happy with with the metrics that are driving the stock to move higher and thirty nine times five bucks. A share of two thousand and twenty two is is not expensive when you consider what is being paid for net flicks.

"All new dizzy prize package before we get to this week's question we're going to go back review last week's end select our winner so last week. Ask you to tell me what. Or where was the sunshine state exhibit oreo. And i thanks hundred. who entered. Got this one correct or had creative ventures and new in a nutshell that this space was located at the lobby level of disney's contemporary resort. It's where during the early nineteen seventies actually use the space as a movie theater. Now a little bit of history. If you're familiar with the fiesta fun center. This was the arcade that used to be located in the contemporary with a wave currently sits but that is actually not was originally in the hotel in the space on opening day that space was originally built as convention space known as the sunshine state exhibit aurium but early on the demand for convention space at walt disney world was not necessarily there because they already had space elsewhere on property in the resort so they had arcade games and mechanical games and and actually a really large shooting gallery.

"Part of what. I and i think we love about walt disneyworld and the disney parks. Is that when we pass through its portals. Maybe even as we. I drive onto property. We leave the real world behind us but every now and then it slips its way in not in a bad way but in a good familiar and off from humorous and wonderful way and it makes its way in through the stories that are told here. Of course no story could be told without the characters that populate them and it's within those characters that we find some familiar names faces and voices and there are undoubtedly and actually likely way more than you think actually more celebrity cameos in both current and extinct tractions than you probably can remember so this week. We're gonna look at some of our favorites most memorable obscure and maybe even a few odd ones as we share our top ten celebrity cameos in walt disney world and making a not so rare. Cameo himself is a man who goes by. Many names is an enigma wrapped in a mystery cuddled. Within a conundrum he is of course mr tim foster of both celebrations magazine and guide to the magic dot com. If i'm remembered for nothing else than cuddling in the conundrum the cuddling can whatever you said that. Warrant my heart. That's what i was hoping you very much. it's true you are a man of many mysteries. But i am so glad to have you back but to continue to call you friend after all low these many years and we were just saying before we start recording. I think we've sort of dabbled into this realm but we've never actually done a complete show about celebrities at walt disney world. And i think this is really. I think cameos by celebrities at the disney park specifically disneyworld is really interesting. Because it's not necessarily the reason why you would go to see an attractor show like the same way as liberty might attracted to a movie or a tv show. But it's more like a nice surprise. Exactly and i'm waiting for the rules that you're gonna put in place as this is. This is actually fun. Because i anticipated some rule. She might put in place. And i already thought out my well planned out arguments.

"To rock. That's listen pantsless is usually the way things happen around here. So okay after all these years. It's it's how I'm happy to see you finally getting on board wage. I'm I'm learning. I'm learning from The Mask. It's a slow. It's a slow burn but I get it. But listen I am I am very excited about this and admittedly and I'm saying cuz cuz it was my idea but I love this idea because we've done shows in the past fifteen years about going solo to Walt Disney World and I I like personally especially as a local. I love going to the parks and being alone and quiet and out of the way and I don't necessarily always get a chance wage. Do that and I look I start off every show talking about sitting back relaxing Etc. And while I don't get to personally do it much. I do sometimes like to do it off when I'm in the Walt Disney World parks and Resorts and and I and Tim I think for a lot of people especially because of the fact that there is so much to do and I do have a finite amount of time a lot of people often don't want to or are afraid to maybe even don't know how to slow down when they're on a wall vacation due in part because I think they're afraid they're going to miss something right? I don't have time to just sit and relax because I should be doing X or I could be doing all these other things. Well on one hand. Yes, you could be missing something and probably for everything on my list. I'm trying to member as I did them when I had those pangs of guilt like dude, you shouldn't be sitting here. You should be in line going to these attractions cuz you paid for this trip, but sometimes that being alone and relaxing is the engine area if that makes sense when you can take advantage of it and appreciate everything around you no matter where you are, but we'll go all over the place. I'm sure but yeah, and and I agree with 1% and I think sometimes it's hard to do that right now. It's hard to turn that off and to that end. Sometimes you need one of these quiet spots off possibly to work because sometimes you just you physically cannot get away from it all and especially when you know you and it all is your business, right and your business exists and lives now dead. In our pockets with our phones, I understand especially if you own your own business, you know, or have a something where you are quote unquote on call there are sometimes wage do need to get away from the hustle and the bustle and the you know, the sound of the parade music behind you and find some of these quiet spots to get some work done. I know look even even when I wasn't a local there were times they would come down here and be working on a book or an audio tour and I just needed some places that were quiet to go and work and we're going to incorporate some of those places as well not just to get away and relax but get away and get some work done too. Yeah. I try to think of the get away and do some work schedule when I was picking out my ideas. I'm not sure if this is on your list, so I won't know I remember back in the days the little Nuance to that was the quest to find an outlet off. That kind of thing. So there's there's one that came to mind right away, but it was more about now. Let's say cuz it was more your place that you took me too, but it was more about not so much that it was the quiet place to get some work done cuz I think we did some recording at the time but it that was back in the day when that was the only Outlet in all of the Magic Kingdom. You could find so Tim. I I hate see how times change I hate to tell the story but I will and it will show just anyway take from the story when you will there was a time that I was working for a family business that we had sold and and we were just in the middle of this transition to you know, a a corporate environment and I was the chief technology officer for the company, but I had a a planned vacation to come down and do some work and I'll never forget being in Disney's Animal Kingdom and being told that morning that I had to be on the job. Conference call at 3:00, whatever time it was and I needed to go and find a payphone dial. Yeah, and I found what I thought was the song wildest Payphone in Disney's Animal Kingdom, which is near where the current Starbucks is. There's also the the the first aid station Etc is back there used to be a bank of phones. So nobody knew where I was I dialed in and I tried to keep my hands or covering the mouthpiece kids. You can Google what a pay phone looks like an edge as I'm standing there pretending to, you know be engrossed in this meeting the Disney's Animal Kingdom Christmas parade starts coming by with a shuttle the music and the floats and I'm like covering them covering the microphone like this and I'm trying to and that's really what I realized that I needed to leave that job immediately and moved down to Florida which in fact I did so there you go. Yeah, some people would have taken that as I really need to find a quiet place so I can do my job but what the other way right I was like this is not going to get out of this page. I like I like so before we get into our our actual, you know, what makes for I was trying to think what are sort of the requisite elements for a good quiet place right now. I was sort of trying to figure out as assembling my list and for me, there's really three point one. There's only three main things with a an optional bonus as well. I think one the place needs to be quiet and don't necessarily say quiet places Tim. I don't think we necessarily mean isolated but really be a place that is at least Serene. I tried to find places that had seating and there's various levels of comfort. Some benchers are not quite as comfortable as some home. Couches, I think you need shade from the Florida sun which beats down on you about 361 days out of the year. And in a perfect world is not perfect. Lou Monticello world. My good quiet place should also involve be close to or have at least food accessible to it you he's going to say food or an electric outlet. But I knew you were going to go I usually bring my car. I usually I try to go look at a lot. Yeah, I do. I do try and bring at least two months back up portable chargers, but all those things you put all those things together if there's food it's like Zen and Nirvana. It's all just there in in one pack. I feel like for you if you only got I gather food was the point one correct requisite item on your list, but I think if you had the point one and nothing else, you would still be a happy camper. Oh, yeah, I could miss them. Right, I could work at The Boathouse. No problem. No sweat. Sure. I was going sorry got no. I was going through my list same thing you and I realized how long this down quickly enough addressing different reasons. You want to get away whether it's you just want to get away and relax whether you need to get some work done to make that phone call them or you're hungry but you need a you know, that kind of thing. So they really fell into different categories quite an interesting exercise.

"Disney wars and all of that, and actually if you go back, excuse me and listened to show number four, zero seven. We have a detailed discussion about ten books that need to be in every Walt Disneyworld fans library and I won't spoil it for you. But some of these books are in there including the story of Walt. Disney World Jeff Cardi book is in there. The Walt Disney's epcot center is a fantastic book since the world began another Jeff Kurti Book imagineering fueled guides are in there and a number of others I think. I think the designing. Disney book. Might be under the architecture of reassurance I think made this list there's a second. This is a follow up an additional ten additional books that need to be on in every world and I'm not. This is not meant to just say, no none of these books are a plug for any of the Walt Disney World Trivia, books? One. Hundred Eighty. Four disneyworld. Pictures Range. That's why the pirates. Up a pop up Trivia Book. There you go. That's All worlds right there. The production costs alone or make that incredibly. So isn't it time? Isn't it time for a new book though I actually just found as I was not only cleaning out my garage and closets but my mom's house after she passed did you ever did I ever? I don't even know. I. Think I knew when I did my Walt Disneyworld Trivia page a day calendar. We we're just yes you had. You were giving those away. At one point and yes, I remember seeing them You know what I found a guess what you're getting for Christmas. In two, thousand, nine calendar going to actually up with whatever. Month Day. So It was that was a ton of fun to do. It was a ton to research because obviously I needed three hundred, sixty, five different bits of Trivia. But had this little like flip book animation in the CY and Doing some Trivia Games and stuff like that. Correct. They were at the time. Probably, not so much but a very expensive thing to produce just and to get onto to bookshelves but it was very cool. That was two, thousand nine. So it's a different daily also. Let's move on. Catherine Renee Williams says oh I just like the title Disneyland Rumor or fact. Show, music. Year. That how the Games are musicals all right. Sure why not I was I once heard this about the sleeping beauty castle in Disneyland. Isn't it? True? That the top half is on backwards. When I first heard this I thought this is ridiculous surely not she says, but recently, I saw a picture of the back of sleeping beauty castle never actually been to Disneyland. We was going to Disneyworld and there was something very elegant and front of the castle looking to it. So I was wondering if the rumor was true after all I, really love the show actually awaiting the newest episodes. Thank you for bringing us a little bit of Disney magic every week it makes cleaning less of a drag. So I love this question and I actually love the answer and the story even more because as Legend has it and this this has been you know we've heard people like Marty sklar and and Bob Girl and others tell the same and stimulus similar story so I take it to be true. When the castle was being designed. Herbie Reimann. Who obviously legend legendary measure was designing the castle he was integrating a number of different elements from noiselessly stink castle in Bavaria and other story elements from Disney and folklore. And when he? Created. His initial sketches of the castle was turned into a three D. model as as everything was was created in miniature so they could actually visualize what it would look like in a in the park. Get an idea of sight lines and aesthetics etcetera and after he saw it in Three D., he was kind of staring at it and dead. Just, just not right about this and. He wanted to be an needed to be an obviously Walter agreed that it needed to be. Quote Unquote perfect right because this really was the the symbol of the entire place and the person who actually had done. The motto was Fred You're who you might know as The imagine who did a lot of the rock work in both. Disneyland as well as Walt Disneyworld the actually fine Freddie Krueger. He was honored with a tombstone and in a in the haunted mansion here lies dear old Fred. A great big rock fell on his head will upgraded rock on his head because he designed all the rottweiler rock work so. So. Her we look at it and says, you know it's great. But I, just I'm not digging it and according to story he basically took the upper part of the model, picked it up and turned it around and was playing around to see how it might look and he's doing this as they're getting ready for a meeting with Walt Disney and it might have been. I. Don't want to say I. Don't maybe Dick was I. don't think it was big news I remember who it was. So look you gotta hurry up and put this back walters coming in and he didn't and walt walks in and he looks at the castle and he's like. I like this this this looks much better than your original design was. So the like. Okay, if Walter, it's okay. This is what we're going to go with Walt likes Herbie likes it and that's the story about how the back the top half of the castle is backwards. From the original design that's very cool. I had not heard that story before and. This is the type of thing when you hear those backstories why we've been so blessed to be able to hear them from Mardi when he was with us and others to hear the behind the velvet rope stories of how these things came about and that little piece of Trivia is incredibly Colt now. Well and what's what's cool about a two is sometimes. There are these happy little accidents you know to sort of US deserve. Euphemism. That is how some of these things. Actually come to be much like those happy little accidents of things that happened with us when we're planning events. Like our conversation, the other day, which I won't end to hear. But no, it was there was a happy little accent so. All right. Let's go. Oh, I'm entering this question. I. Don't even know what the question is. I'm answering own simply because of who sent it it's from Corey Bassett, the keeper of the box. Inquiry. Who He's the keeper of the box because during the twenty three, Expos Corey is there manning the technical side of the live broadcast literally carrying around someone's got to do it and? I appreciate you cory and core is also a member of our armed services and I appreciate his service and sacrifice. So very well. So I don't even care what your questions, Corey I'm answering it here. And it says and I quote Peleliu Dot Dot and probably Her Majesty becky whole. Wow Corey..

Hey, let's check the weather report and see if it's going to stay way. Cool outside. Now. The answer was basically in the question because the call letters of the Radio Station are K and R G or K Energy and thanks to the hundreds of you who entered got this one correct and new of course that it was universe of Energy Slash Ellen's energy adventure slash Ellen's energy crisis anything that if it had the word energy in. It chances are I took it, and if you're wondering where and when you heard this in the attraction when bill nine and eleanor up in the helicopter and they're going through time, you actually hear the radio announcer do a voice over a number of different times including K. energy news time fifty, five, million pc now for a look at our weather Willard. So we were just talking about superheroes at the park I think that there were two other superheroes that very much bear mentioning. I'm saying Superheroes tongue-in-cheek because I could not believe I guess I. could because of what they hoped it would become but. Do you remember? Dick Tracy. Tracy. Tracy Johnke diamond has just been stolen from the museum. I'm on my way and his diamond double cross spectacular thirty minute production. which was based on the film starring Warren Beatty and Madonna that they thought was going to be like the next big franchise. They, you know this is a film that dizzy put a lot of money and marketing power behind the The even got this This particular project in terms of the diamond double show into the theater stars very quickly because this was part of this launching of the the Disney decade and they only had it here but they had a show that was performed at video palace in Disney land. But these they were both very, very short lived Um I know. The Walt Disney world one lasted less than a year and I think the Disneyland one lasted even less time. I think we did a show where we looked at some of the extinct stage shows of Walt. Disneyworld I'll put a link to it or just you can search for it in your podcast. APP, on the WTO website, we talk a little more. About, dictate Tracy and the diamond double-cross show. But did you also know that there was another stunt show a small one that came about in nineteen ninety-five to promote another film and that took place on the New York area back lot a few times a day it was not made by Disney it was a character that was completely licensed from Morgan. Creek. Productions. And it.

That is to me and my family and Lisa, decided on her own to reach out to make a wish to start a fundraising campaign in the hopes of raising ten thousand dollars, which would adopt a family and sponsor their trip in full to Walt Disneyworld in my mom's name really in furtherance of what we collectively have done for with make a wish through are deemed. Dream Team Project and as I found out during the live show when this was revealed to me, Lisa very much had confidence in the community that we would easily reach that ten thousand dollar goal on Wednesday night. We had already clips that and you had raised again without my knowledge you'd more than fourteen thousand dollars and I was over come and overwhelmed with emotion. Just as I am now really trying to keep it together. You know what I and she and I don't think anybody new was from there just how this community and this family would come together and at the time of this recording on Monday September twenty eighth just about seven days. After this, it started nearly fifty thousand dollars. Has Been raised. which. Is going to send. We hit that mark five children and their families to. Walt Disneyworld you talk about making a difference, not just choosing the good but being the good you have changed literally the lives of five families who I think now more than ever really need that magic and you have changed my life as well, and I could easily go on and on about. What I feel and what this means and look at it's not about the money. It's not about the dollar amount really is about what we've been talking about day one community and friendship and family in it's. The words I use since I launched my very first sight and those words carry so much more weight and meaning now because what you've done. Not, just in the past sixteen years of this community and this shows exist but really in the past few days is beyond remarkable. And I cannot thank Lisa and you enough. I. Am grateful in ways that I am still now not able to put into where I cannot articulate how I feel but I hope that you know and realize and. Smile about what you have done and the real tangible positive difference that you've made. In this world and I think at a time that not only is it truly needed most. Think the gifts that you have given shine even brighter and I am humbled and thankful and I know my mom and dad are looking down and they are smiling and proud and thank you as well. You. Do not only choose the good. You are the good. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you my heart and my. Hugs go out to you. You have done something beautiful and wonderful and special and for that. I will forever be grateful. Man is a really tough awkward transition to get into the show but we're going to continue where we left off last week as we leave magic kingdom and Epcot and go to the Disney MGM. Slash Hollywood Studios Disney's animal kingdom and beyond the parks to the Lake Point Vista Village Pleasure, island, and more of the Weird Wild and just plain wacky things that we've seen heard and experienced in Walt Disneyworld. Enjoy. But let's move from the futuristic and wild and Wacky non-serbs justic. Epcot Center over to to the Disney. MGM. Studios. where? This is I think the place we're going to mention some names and some intellectual properties. You'RE GONNA go none a Louis you've got confused that there's no way that happened in Walt Disneyworld. And for the first one, I'm going to go with something that I had to check and double check to make sure this really did happen. Was Who wants to be a millionaire play? It was not the first game show in MGM Studios. And not only was it not the first one but there was one that they guests could visit as an attraction, but was also filmed on property. And this is a show that exists on TV today but the original. was many decades before and let's make a deal. And the original? Let's make a deal had monty hall. But when it got to be the late eighties and nineties, they wanted to do a revival of, let's make a new hosts named Bob Hill in and they decided to fill this at MGM Studios. And they would have certain days of the week where they would fill episodes. But then at the times when they were not filming episodes for live TV, then guests from the park could go in and cast members would take the place of the host in the announcer and the prior is presenters and guests have the opportunity to play prices of their own. And but there was kind of an audition process that you could go through if you wanted to be selected to play and if you were picked than, you would be given one of the crazy costumes that everyone wears on. Let's make a deal so that you would fit in. And they add some legitimate prizes for people I mean you could win the Swan had just opened. So you could win three night stay at the Walt Disney World Swan, you could win a a cruise not on the Disney cruise line because that didn't exist yet but it was a three day cruise with Disney's cruising partner. There were rebus brothers, statues there was some others price sponsors were Delta and Eminence and Mars and Goodyear and others. But it turned out they actually did film sixty five episodes with Bob Hill in the host, and then like another sixty three where monty hall came back and hosted and those all did go to err on NBC and I unfortunately I never seen it. I never saw when I was there and I would have been very crucial because we're gonNA the Disney studios were meant to be studios. The idea was that you were walking onto. onstage and then backstage of a real working production facility, which obviously never really sort of grew to become as much as they wanted it to sort of make it. Be You know the East, coast version of Hollywood but there were a lot of these type of shows that were familiar that were being aired their tape there or at least recreated there to give guests a sense of what it was like as he shows being filmed and I did play millionaire play it a.

"I want to sit in the Boulder Ridge lobby with Walt Disney next me and listen in the quiet. To the soundtrack of the boulders lobby at Wilderness Lodge It's such an array of songs, and if you know me, you know that's like a personal place for me. It's almost the places you can go and you can escape and you don't have to worry about anything at life and you can just sit there and think in it's quiet in the smells perfect everything about that spot just. Feels like home to me and it's something I think he would really appreciate because you've got that care would pacific Rim right across the way you got the fireplaces you've got everything that's grand and At the same time very. quaint and in different in a way that's very welcoming and I think he'd be really proud of the way that Disney has portrayed all that and it's it's his part of his story, but it's also not historian away in your face. It's a learning experience about. Trains in the past in. So many things that as I like to say, the typical guest with ain't going to overlook but those who seek out are gonNA find huge amount of value there. You know that in my case I was. Actually, I was thinking like back, east but I thought about Feta burs sets as some inspiration because the all the recounts that he was a big fan of the song and then I start to assume that he was fan of love catching maladies. So the one that I choose was married life married life is the thing from up. And to show to show him and not only the song that initial sequence movie six would be. For me if it will be perfect, I love that Song I love the melody that. That saw. And sneak another one just took his is not so obvious. It's not so obvious. Just a Sh- justice shake things a little bit up would throw a Hawaiian Hula coaster. Just for that. So I love the fact that not only did you say married life but becky looked like what song is that from? Back yet it's Michael G Aquino who. Don't even get me started on on how much I love Michael J. Keno who may or may not have written songs for you know some of the things that we have spoken of. Tonight however, I am so glad that none of you mentioned the right answer. Because I think floor and look I think that somebody can easily argue that. Walt you need to sit down and hear this little song. Let it go. It's crazy. How much money made but. Two daughters. Let it go. That was actually on my list. But I think the song that you have to play for Walt is really walt It's written by the Sherman brothers it embodies. Everything that Walt. Is it's the title of Marty sklar books. So you know he and I are thinking the same thing one little spark of inspiration is at the heart of all creation of I think. Walt would love the fact that the Sherman's like kept on going and they kept that spirit alive and I think there's a lot of Walt. In those lyrics, it is not just the epcot anthem I think it is a it is a walt. Disney anthem. Good what the Nice thing about these is there is no mean except for a couple of Becky's and Jason really no wrong answers to most of of these but I what I do want to do is I did not ask you these ahead of time because I want to mix things up and have a little fun. I, want to do a little bit of A. Of a lightning round and you know, yes to to to quote waltz nephew whenever he says look, it's not fair to say what do you think walt would think about well, I want to know anyway what do you think walt would feel about certain things knowing walt as we do from what we've read and heard and stories that we've heard told by people that that know him and worked with him. So. We'll start with the original order of ladies first again only charity go last. Sorry. Okay. So we'll go reverse order again. I WANNA know ver ver- relatively quickly this is more discussion than anything. So you know what? No particular order if you have something to contribute just blurted out I wanna know what do you think walt would feel about of many of you brought this up on different occasions What do you think walt would feel about epcot we know by far the most exciting the most important part of what we're doing here in Florida is our epcot project. What do you think what would feel about what it was what is and what it's going to become? He will love it I think y he will because it is. It is a, it is a park that you most of all you contemplate things is not apart to for ride surfer and anything is just a company contemplate to even contemplate the people there are walking around you. So I think you'll love. Approach with curiosity and be very eager to see what's coming with the changes I think he would wonder who drops the ball. I think yeah that's what I thought too I. Think He. Thinks it's a kindly initially, I would love to show him around. But I think Bridge Walt did not leave you know walt on his deathbed did not leave and I'm playing devil's advocate. I'm not saying I, greet US but. Walt did not leave his specific vision for what Epcot was to be many telltale of how walt was literally laying in his bed sort of mapping epcot in his mind on the ceiling tiles. But that was not necessarily put down on paper. So they were left with these two seemingly diametrically opposed ideas for what epcot future world world showcase was going to be and they did you know sort of the best with what they had and zero Zero leadership, but it was hard for some. Say I'm going to step in Walt's shoes. This is what I think walt wanted as opposed to none of us know let's just sort of figure something out because this project is is already. off the ground. Well, that's what I thinking. I think his initial thought would be disappointment, but then I think that it would it the disappointment would turn inward. I think he would recognize that. too much of that project is as well as other projects too much wrapped was all dependent upon him and his force of his just force of personality and his ability to bring these disparate groups together, and then to convince people to sponsor things until like and can convince governments to to just kind of let things happen I. Think I think once the story once he was told the story I, think he would appreciate the aspects that are there today I? Think he would be very curious to see what's coming next and I bet he'd have some things to say. They should finish the project that they just started right I don't WanNa be the guy to explain to them like wall. This is why we couldn't build the city. This is old this. I someone agree that there might be a tad of disappointment at the first. This is like the question that I wish I knew the answer to but to not have been able to realize bringing this dream into somebody's real world that wasn't just the fantasy piece of of the lands but to to really impact people's everyday lives. I. Think that may have sparked a little disappointment. But what it ended up being a course has his own joy in its own experiences too. So I kind of agree with Jason that I think I, it might be that hit of it's not something we're able to impact everyone's daily life from creating the city but. This is what has become an it has.

"I would love to see his reaction to it. I think it's one of the most beautiful things that's come out of the cannon a long long time. I'm not a huge fan of live action movies and I'd love to have a conversation with him about them but I do think that this one was extraordinarily done. some of the character development came out of it and seeing prince charming actually have some personality and needless to say what Helena Bonham Carter with godmother. Was Brilliant. But Yeah I would love to watch it with him in sort of maybe use that as a bridge to kind of talk about the old school stuff and how that was done, what his thoughts are on the remakes that are happening now but also I just I just think that the message and visuals in in that movie works to ordinary. Ever seen it. It's one deal at like I am not a huge fan of I. Don't think there's any other live action that I've really been. A huge fan of but it's it's so beautifully done. I mean Cate Blanchett Brilliant. So Becky will since. Collins. Stole. Part of mine, and then I could easily kind of flip it and say, Mary poppins to hear the back story but I'm not GonNa do that I'm GonNa, go. I'm GonNa take a different tactics something that he didn't have any hand in because obviously collins already told us all the back stories that we're going to hear now. Comes around. Exactly. So. I'M GONNA go. If he's going to end up having to go into galaxies edge. I'M GONNA. Go a star wars. And the reason I'm going to say that is I remember sitting in the theater. And the first opening scene with that, start a story coming over your head and being just in awe of what I was seeing experiencing from just the opening scene the difference in that technology and how a story was being presented I think he would appreciate that difference between nineteen, sixty, six and nineteen, seventy, seven it really from the time he passed on there wasn't. A lot of years between those two technology and how things were presented were completely changing and I think that he would appreciate how. Different, it was being presented on screen as opposed to when he was involved in the movies that he was He was working on such as like the animation with Mary, poppins and so forth. So I think that's what I'll go with. You know I am both grateful as well as shocked and appalled. That none of you mentioned the obvious choice. How none of you even mentioned in passing two thousand eleven's Mars needs moms is just beyond me. Disappointment we get it clearly. You know what? I didn't have any honorable mentions I didn't have any other ones on my list. This is the first one that came to mind and. And I'm and I feel comfortable that it's strong enough not that I didn't even feel the need to think to any others and I think wally is one of the best made animated films of our generation. I think. I think waltz would love it not just from a technological perspective and nostalgia and the messaging of environment and technology and religion but I, think that the ability. To tell a story. With no words and if you look at the first, you know to acts of that film. There's really no dialogue than you know the sounds that wally and even I give Andrew Stanton incredible amounts of respect and credit for this. I think it is a beautiful love story between two characters that you know that there's there's a humanity to these robots. That that is remarkable. Again, I can do an entire show about why think wally is so good but Yeah I guess for me it it it was far and away because it came in and it came in strong. For me, I love that yeah. Amazing Yeah. So what What would be the TV show that you'd WanNa Watch with Walt and I think he can have some fun with fun with this one I didn't I did not qualify it release Oh again we'll do the same reverse order just for fun so Colin Colonel Carlos Jason Lisa and Becky. I'm giving you time to think and I didn't have a great answer for this be quite honest but I went with something this May or may not count but I went with Disney plus and prompt culture just because I think it would be interesting to see especially the Mary poppins episode and know I'm going back to that again but. something about the legacy that those films have had especially Mary poppins in this case. and. The effect they've had on people's lives, not only the people that are part of them and seeing that. But also how all of that were preserved to an extent and how they found at different places and how it's meant so much to so many people in his created memories for so many over the and a simple answer much like a lot of line tonight But that's that's what I went to and I don't even know if it counts as a TV show, it's more of a series but. There we go. I, dig it I I. Dig that. Answer Carlos. Remain so hard because I'm not a TV show guy but Now being second is easy. I will go with the Menzel Orien- and the hope storytelling progression of that series I. Think it is it is amazing no. In some way I can again include John Farrow in the whole in the whole thing in it's a I loved it and I'm not someone that usually. No sticks to its visual to a series. But in that one in that case, it's it's amazing. Clearly Three's company would be the appropriate answer. No. I I think it's really hard I just WanNa have fun. I think I think we'd watch if we could only watch one episode of something we'd Watch the very first episode of Finnish verb. Wow rollercoaster. Episode started off. Just, I mean it's so it's such good fun. It's clean. It's it's it just draws you in you love these characters by the end of the the That that particular episode Yeah, and it was a hit I mean it'd be remains a huge hit within the Disney the oh now I wanna change my answer the gravity falls, but that's another good one God an amazing one had. That in right Lisa now I'm just waiting for weeded drop lost into the shuffle. Actually actually pay lost for for like a heartbeat. Lost already. Worth Guy. Kate. Watch. Watches buffy the vampire slayer to know so as much as I would love to binge out on stranger things with Walt. Now I I mean my my like obvious easy answers the during story I don't know if that qualifies as TV show he cut the cord awhile ago. So I don't like have A. Watch it on the device in your living room or your phone accounts as TV. Okay so yeah. I. I would love to ask. Stories series while just get the sort of some of the back. Act Inside and let him see what's what's happened. Fast forward I saw this one already. I I was there just move on to keep going. Get to anything sixty six. Per about cries mccraw. Becky. I'm not sure like this last position anymore. It's Fallen to my politics took my second Carlos took my third Lisa took my i. I'm just going to say you know what I WanNa test, his wicked sense of humor and watch rick and Morty..

Resilient Jersey to present to my your friend Liu and debt, and then when I got there, there was lou talking with Kevin. Feige fans was already crying there because. That guy is a hero and I would love to see. The conversation ought to hear the conversation between both and a guy like Kevin Feige I was. I was almost throwing another one there but I will leave to to to see my friends but the Kevin Feige Guy. Followed a similar perspective, the Carlos and went to the film side of things and. Actually went all the way to. Pixar with Dr mostly because they inside out because. To Have Him Walt, and then somehow me in the mix right there sitting talking over dinner or something like that. Just to pick the minds of people who seem utterly no everybody else's. Is just amazing to me that they always. Especially, with inside out, it's like you're portraying all of us can think, but never can quite get into words and both of them were so good at transporting new to a place for transporting to emotional or transporting to something that is so hard to depict I think being able to draw from each of those in the empathy that they provide would just be an incredible experience in to hear their thoughts of how. reenactor we're not necessarily reenact but reiterate that. In the way they do what they do, and now they do it so well. So you know I thought a lot about this one. And I'm. GonNa. I'm GonNa Invoke podcast or privilege. I don't particularly care because I'm going to answer this question though the way that I need to answer it I have a an a an incredible man respect for Bob Eiger and I mean this with the utmost respect to both. Named gentleman I think there was a lot of Walt, Disney in Bob Eiger I. think There's a lot of Bob Eiger that carries on Waltz Legacy at the very least from a business perspective wall surrounded himself by the people that were the very best at what they do. I. Think Bob has done that on a much grander scale surrounding himself and the company by other companies are the best at what they do in terms of storytelling companies. Like Lucasfilm like Marvel Thought from a creative perspective and someone who likes to push boundaries like Walt I think Jodi needs to be there as well. So I decided I'm having dinner and I'm inviting Bob Eiger. Joe Rhody Kevin Wiley income you can put whoever you on them. Much listen, Kevin, feige, who you know. Again, one of the great blessings of this show has been able to get to know and and become friends with Kevin and understand like you said Carlos I think there's a lot of. The waltz thinking and in Kevin to I think he's a he's a brilliant storyteller whose Whose wife is motivated in pure passion for the brand both Marvel and star wars and to then. Jon. FAVREAU has to be there to yes. I. Think John Farrell Right now is is. I don't want to sort of single him out but you know. In terms of of storytelling and vision and. Again pushing the envelope so I wanNA have dinner with. A dream dream big kids. I WanNa have dinner with Bob, Eiger, Walt Disney Joe, Rhody Kevin Foggy, and Jon favreau and even. Cozy Cole Motel like we're GONNA up a little bit and since I'm probably making the reservation for you, I'm going to add a couple of chairs and I'm going to add Kevin Rafferty and Carter to it from measuring because a I would love to hear Walt and Kevin Rafferty talk about imagineering and that process in what it meant back then and what it means now. So we started to. A few you mentioned in all of us mentioned. People whose dealings with the parks are go beyond that right onto the the big and the small screens and let's look that's we're walt got his start. So I think it's only appropriate that we think about that as well. What would be the one movie that you'd want him to see? More, importantly, what would be the one movie that you'd like to sit down and watch with Walt? I'm going to make things up a little bit I'm GonNa go in reverse order. So Colin Carlos Lisa and Becky. So I'm glad I had a good answer for this and I had it prepared. I'M GOING TO SAVE MR banks and I do it not decision. Hey, look at you on the big screen but rather to say. How does this portray what you saw what you experienced, how it was in your interaction with these people? Especially, the Sherman brothers and I know Richard. Sherman. Tanks said it's a very keen likeness to it, and that's incredible the here. But just to hear walt explain it and share the back story in the little details of that. and to see how he thinks of Tom Hanks portraying him. I'm always a huge Tom Hanks fan everything. He does this just amazing to me but. That's where I have to go and it's part of sentimental reasons because I absolutely loved that movie because of the nostalgia factor but I gotta go save Mr Banks. Well my movie, My it is not so obvious thing But I, love him to watch with me Lillo institutes and for many reasons Janney mation. Arctic, is amazing. At is both classic and Flash and the whole Ohana a theme and is such a strong family statement and that movie and at the that is one of the best rates in the universe I think this is my family I found it its own, my own my own is ladle and broken, but still good I think is great. I think is great. It's a good one. Yeah. Jason. I this was this was near impossible. To Nail Denton says tear down to one I wanted to be I wanted to be selfish and pick my favorite. But I won't do that. I think it would be meet the robinsons. Meet the robinsons with them because I think. It gets to the heart of everything that he was about. And everything that he blunt Stanford terms of them. Inspiring. The next generation to. Think outside the box into not give up and he was you know was somebody who didn't. He got knocked down and he got right back up he didn't give up in his dream. And I think the message about. Not Listening to the Naysayers, not listening to the people who would who would hold you back or knock you down I think I think for me in terms of animated movies I think that's got waltz fingerprints all over it. Lisa. So I was really torn on this winter you between wanting to watch you know one of the older movies that yet that he had handed and maybe getting some. Inside Information. On making during the the viewing and and showing in something newer and so I think I kind of set out set on happy ground happy middle ground and went to something that I talk about a lot. It doesn't get a lot of love. It's one of my favorite Disney movies but live action.

"The ways of the Chimney Chunga Cart. Very good. Excellent. Find Bench and sit there and watch people and that's what my favorite things to do. When Zeeland grab a snack, sit on a bench and watch the people enjoy enjoys part actually becky for you. The order of things is different. You sit on a bench you tell me go grab you a snack and then New People Watch but it's spying. Let's get real here. This is usually okay. Becky I'm going to go accord dot cart. Card I. Could be is and you can have a bite of one if you want. Judgment Research. Lease glasses what is the snack that you would have with Walt and y? So backing we had we had super similar answers so I'm heading to. A different means street two different hub and and just walking straight into Walt Disney royal we're grabbing some popcorn and sitting on a bench and the An. All delicious snacks at Disney. I think I think that's that that wins out easily anyway. But I think the main reason I want him to be there with me is because I want to be sitting there. Not only looking out on means street and the castle and hub, but also showing him the shark magic. Statue. With Roy and Minnie's you know because. It was Roy who who made all this happen an after his passing in. So you know in honoring that Like to sit in Shera. Container Popcorn while looking out on that statue and. Conversation I wanted to say as since poplars favorites that I wanted to include that. But I will also, I will add something on something that you can a little bonus to what you're doing with Walt Say Walt by the way, the margins on popcorn are tremendous and kill these popcorn buckets sell like hotcakes. Sentimental. But we're making serious bank on the popcorn as well. It appreciate. Everything we've talked about. Jason so I'm going to weird it up. We're GONNA go over. To Hollywood studios, we're going to go to. Galaxies Edge. WE'RE GONNA GO WE'RE GONNA WALTZ WALTZ Our way into Oguz Cantina, and we're going to have the sure cooter replayed which I think. They called their the happe- bore have aboard. Played or something like Stanford truly give them a fuzzy taunt on just to watch his face when he no no, no is a snack. But this thing, it's so cool because it it's you know it's a cured meats and cheese played. But it doesn't look anything like it and I think in that environment, it would be so much fun to just kind of. Notch with him on on those things and I, know he would like all of the stuff. 'cause it stuff that. Will he? It just looks weird. Carlos. Well easy easy. All for visa. That's that's one is I'll take him to at gut during food and wine festival, and we will run towards the Brazilian kiosk. And we will have. Bone Decay Zhou, which is the Brazilian cheese bread and I don't know how many of you already try another Lou ready did and you will understand me now drop the MIC is just a Brazilian cheese bread. Maybe I'll change my answer to killings. Didn't know we could. Go wherever you want so good colleges out half our list. So I kinda cheated on this one to be completed. And I went with an appetizer 'cause it's kind of like the snack to the main course anyway and I went to Disney Disneyland Dca more particularly but carthy circles firecracker ducklings. As their amazing one. That's a great answer, but it's not a snack. Don't because every sits. Anything can be an appetizer. Yeah. But I mean at the same time I can't help but walk into carthy circle or even like that lounge area and not think about Walt, and how he would respond to a place like that and how much he probably would have enjoyed it vastly and the food's great and it's the closest honestly I struggled with this answer but I kept coming back to those wings because it was the last one of the last things I eight Disney park does they were so good. We could we could probably score that Cole Little Room that little. Room we could get that. That'd be a good plan. You know these are all. Very, Nice. Very, very sweet answers, but they're all wrong. Because the place that you take walt is not in Walt Disneyworld. It's not in Disneyland it's not even overseas. I'm not gonNA cheat can be like Oh look at the awesome snacks and the cute little dumplings that they have in the overseas park we're going to Disney California adventure and I'm GonNa play to audience people I'm going to not just one of my favorite places put a place I think what was waltz favorite food Chilly chilly. So what do you get him McConnell? Better believe it putting you take. Motel. please. Listen. He would love everything about it. It's it's like you know the it's like the old ham which is right hand which is were post-wall put it's easy. It's chilly. It's cheese it's corn chips it's in the edible bread cone. He would love the theme ing and he would love everything about it. So we would get one of those and we would get a chicken verde if they still had one two and I'll teach walt the joys of double fisting at the cozy Komo's and the secret, which is you ask for a cup so you can use the Paper Cup to hold your cozy cone while you're eating the other one. In Collin Carla's defense when we were there in it was closed. It was they were I. Wish I missed. We missed that we missed that we did have our photo taken. So it looks like we were there. We didn't. have to go back. That's Oh. Yes. Yes. I think that's a given anyway. However the Cheese Bacon one is the better. Oh, please. No it's chilly cone case Oh they didn't have chicken verde anymore. Let's hope that comes back Yeah. The Cozy Cole Motel up so In a lot of these. Things that we're talking about. The word technology comes up a lot. There's been incredible advances obviously in technology since waltz time there are some where technology simple or complex is. sort of at the heart of some of the attractions, what is the one piece of technology or the one use of technology that you would want to demonstrate or point out to walt in the parks? That you think would just. Enhance the experience, blow his mind However, you define it what's what's the use of technology with the piece of technology? In the parks becky you looked very confused. I gave you these questions in advance. Doesn't say in the parks well, it doesn't have to be in the park. So I, mean if you say you know. I was thinking technology in general. That's fine. That's fine. I didn't pay with your phone back. Here have this has the computing power of like an office building in your day. Yeah besides the ability to just open my hotel door with an APP on my phone I struggled with this because I was thinking about all the different things that you can do with a phone but I was I went outside the parks and I immediately went to Disney plus. the moment that I read technology because I was thinking. How amazing would it be to go from the time that he was in? The only way that you could actually watch television set was with ears that you had to adjust in. Yeah I. Don't really.

"German place? Germany. So so a lot I would love to take him to the Beer Garden. And there's a genuine reason for that. I think is the perfect family restaurant. You have a big tables you have the big are you can eat you say. And there's something. Special about places because you, you can see families dancing when the when the vocab boom pop band count comes, and you see that dancing for with people with owed couples with. GRANDPA's with grandchildren and particularly if you during the Christmas time. There is a there is this part of the show that they. They tell you about that. The legend of the Tennenbaum was the Christmas tree and the vital the kids. To the dancing for which is lovely so I would love to have. Him watching that because I think there are a few restaurants in. In Disney that you can have that dancing and cheering and family altogether feeling and the beer garden is a perfect example. That's my my choice. I got cook. Aside I was not expecting that answer from you or anyone else but I fell in love with it for all the great reasons and just the way you pronounce the Word Buffet but. I I think that you're one hundred percent right if we think to Walt's original inspiration and motivation for why he created these parks in the first place All those things certainly fit the fill that bill. So a Colin what about you? So I'm going to build upon Jason's answer just because he said that and we're GonNa go to whispering Canyon for lunch. But then as sunsets starts to hit, we're going to go out to the boat dock rented jump on the open sided boats that goes around Bay Lake wherein take a ride at sunset over to. Fort. Wilderness. And it's a simpler simple little Ryan sunsets amazing off Bay Lake. It's one of my favorite things ever. If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with that But once you get there we're going over to trails. For very similar reasons to what Jason mentioned. It's simple. It's slower. The Food Walt would love. It's just a welcoming environment Laczi kids around various stahl gic feeling and just a different way of life that I think what would appreciate it because when you look back. On all this stuff that he's created you've got adventure Lynn, you've got frontier you got Tom Sawyer Island got things that take you back in time into me Fort Wilderness does that in so many ways in ways that other areas are property just do quite the same way when you get over there in day transition tonight, it feels like you're miles and miles away from thing in its transformative experience, you get sites you've got the sounds you've got the food it just feels like for a moment you've escaped a think park and it's just perfect in. So many ways is one of my favorite places on property and I really think he'd enjoy the experience. So, it's really funny. You say that because. Not that specifically but fort? Wilderness. Came to mind because I thought of Walt I thought of the time that he lived in the time before he passed away and some of his inspirations for things like Frontier Land TV at night, and I started to think about Fort Wilderness and as somebody who? Consistently longs for for Simpler Times I, think you know overwhelming walt potentially with all the technology I would want to show him that look you know this vacation kingdom of the world that started in seventy one like it still is there a place that families can go and have simple fund together and actually the place I thought of was Hoop de do like Forget the fact that it's not being cheap but what you can have as much as you like just fill up on the cord Brennan so good but it is. It's that family friendly show I think it just it it brings in so many elements that I think what would love and then I look I I had this ongoing battle between my heart, my head, my soul and my stomach in terms of where do I take him and why and This is a bit of a cheat answer because again I I sort of took myself and I allowed myself to include any of the parks worldwide. Again, I'm very well cogs in the fact that some of the places I may mention. You might not have ever seen before but. The place actually taking him? Is A counter service location? And it's not that I'm being cheap because we have to fly all the way to Tokyo to get there. And and let me explain why volcanoes. In Mysterious Island Becky's nodding her head at Tokyo, Disney? Sea. Is there. Again I think this fulfills a lot of the things that I would like wall to see in a restaurant. And it's not about the food, right? It's not about the cuisine. Again, this is touching back to Walton fifty, four adaptation of Verne's twenty thousand leagues, under the. Sea. Book. I. Think. That the theme the backstory, the design everything speaks every little detail from. The design of the chair to the views out onto mysterious island from the interior. Locations where this this idea of it being this this this power plant that has now been didn't transform. There are so many little wonderful details but you can sit outside look into the harbor and look down and see an actual nautilus ship from where you are becky. When we were there like there were days, we ate there more than once and then sometimes days after days and the food is is is wonderful. And I almost walt would like the fact that it's buffet aureus style, right? It's sort of goes back to you know buffet areas like in in the fifties that he probably grew up with and was familiar with and I think the fact that it's old school and great teaming it's accessible to everyone. You know for a lot of different reasons it's there. So if I had to say domestically, yeah, might be Hoop de do but. I I think I think volcano would be an interesting place for him to visit and don't forget that you're sitting there having this wonderful meal in our case like our forth meal the same place in one day or so it seemed and the volcano erupts all around you and you feel the entire thing shake a little bit and the sound is so enveloping that you feel like you're just sitting there going to watch vesuvius go off at any given time. you're you're right the. I cut go back to that that we were there twice and out of all the restaurants across to parks. We kept going back to that one restaurant and Becky to go to counter service like you know it's gotTa be good. Wow. Yeah. It was fantastic especially because you carry the trae such. I Know My. Uncle of so let's Let's extend off that just a little bit because. You know you've met me I am a snacker and I think snacking is part of the fun just relatively quickly what is the one snack in the park in any of the parks that you think walt has to try? Becky N- I'm up again? Okay. For purely selfish reasons I would probably in my brain immediately went to the funnel cake but then again, I realized that while wasn't a sweet sky. So I had to kind of reset my chee on that one. and. I think this is where I would return to the hub. I would go back to the hub in Disneyland. And I would get him to the Little Red Wagon and we would grab a corn dog on.

"Same order, Ladies First? Okay. So I have a couple of thoughts on. Him To the club. He can already get in. It's fine. Now I will tell you that yes, the club hit my brain for a moment just he he had this great. This counter service please we don't do. But then I went somewhere else for a second but it's not for the reason you think. So just bear with me go with me work with me here. I went to the chef's table at Vienna. Not for the food, but because it takes about six and a half hours to eat the meal. So that would at least give me six hours or so to be with them, but then I got the right answer. And for me. Again going back to Disneyland. I. IT would have to be a waterside seat at the Blue Bayou. hands down, and the reason is it has such a a personal tie for me Walt Disney I I never had my grandparents. I never got to really get to know a grandfather. So Walt became that in my eyes with the wonderful world of Disney and my exposure to him. So he was like the grandfather I wish I had had when I really didn't have one. So when my father took me to the blue by you on my first visit to Zealand advert, we had a waterside seed at the blue by you. So I would love to have that connection to somebody I. respect so much and the thoughts of my first visit there with my father and have this wonderful meal. Under what seems like is a starry night new. Orleans. When clearly that's not the case. But Something familiar the food that he loved and enjoyed he was so much into nor leans. in being able to kind of share the memories of my first visit there with my father when I was seven. To talk to him about how his legacy I keep going back to that word. But this thing he created for his little girls and his hope that families could enjoy each other together in the park. Definitely resonated with me and became my life because of that he created so I would love to have that conversation with. Whatever I can get off the menu if I could make it stretch out for six hours. So be it but that's where I think I'd like to go. So I'M NOT GONNA I'm not cutting in, but I will say, Becky, it's the first thing that jumped to my mind. Blue, by you was was. Very quickly what I put down again for love the reasons, the connection to Walton pirates of the Caribbean the the ambience inside the fact that it opened just a few months after he died in March. Dependent. In December obviously, you know that that plane had already been flight but I will tell you it's not what ended up coming up with SIL teaser for after that no I would not. Dare seven after. You I'm literally meeting Becky. All right. least go ahead before becky steals it. So I'll say, as a prelude that like you do I talked, what is questions at the dinner table tonight and my Seven, year old. said that Mommy you should take him to blizzard because Mr Walt deserves a Swedish fish so and. So that was that was Tyson's. Tyson's take on his. Am Blizzard would not be a bad choice by the way I. Mean Kantha Allergies. Because Mr well-deserved speech. Which I agree with wholeheartedly. And No. So I kind of migrated around property on this question and without naming names I'd I did sort of gloss by a couple of locations where he could. Newer locations where he could perhaps look down on what he created or inspired, stop it on all the arguments. But. No I where I landed was actually somewhere kind of unique. There is a lovely Special experience that you can have an animal kingdom. that I hope will come back soon if it's not there originally called Savor the Savannah. Where they take you out any private safari tour with a very limited number of people I'm you get a very up close and personal? Experience with the the animals in the cast members who work with them. And then you go to that. Extraordinarily lookout point. Look in one direction. You can see the elephants and you look in the other direction you can see the the lions and you have sort of a top style meal with wine and other drinks. And it wasn't up needless to say in for most of us. I. Think it's not. It wasn't about the food I just wanted to sort of be up there with him and be like, look what you inspired like. It's this most it's the most incredible vantage point in the world. It's preceded by this wonderful, very private safari tour that through this. this far. And then you end up at this point you are. You're look in one direction. You see the elephants in the accuracy, the lions, and there's this lovely spread of food and drink in front of you. But to be able to kind of it's and it's scheduled such that you're doing it during sunset. And justice sort of look out on that with him like I said, a lot of my answers were sort of animal kingdom. Geared for this reason because I feel like he so directly inspired it but at the same time like so much maybe wouldn't have seen it coming. To be able to just look out on the field of like elephants, lions and the score just or just savannah in front of him, and just show him sort of what he what came to be because of his legacy would be pretty amazing. So Yeah Savo Savannah. Good one I dig yes Jason. Boy. Like. The restaurant you went with your dad. Romantic lovely experience the middle of chucky cheese off your list of something fast. Yes golden corral. I was so afraid that Lisa was going to say this and I'm glad. It's down right here. Dresser was fantastic but I went in a completely different direction and I'm taking him to whispering, Canyon. And it is not weighing mine for a second. I'll tell you this. This is the first thing that popped in my head and I was like what Jason why are you saying whispering Kenyan what is wrong with you and then the more I thought about it the more I thought no, this makes sense because number one I could walk corn bread number one while core. That's the thing. So so I checked checked against my gut I, went to the picture. I'd taken from the Disney Family Museum of the little. The little note that his housekeeper gave somebody says like these are the foods that Walmart likes. Ticking down the list like we can get like half of these things, Spring Kanye something similar plus I thought he would. So there's going to be food that he's going to actually eat which is great because I don't think he's going to give them your safari stuff but love the view I'm sure and then. He's then he's going to get such a kick out of seeing this very pre covid or very postcode, but he's going to get a kick out of seeing the kids running around the the the the the whole, the guys the father's getting up and doing I'm a little teapot and and the catch up thing he's GonNa. Love that. Says,.

"It became that. I think he needs to see country jamboree because it literally was walt last laugh and seeing Mark Davis drawings come to life in a show that has pretty much not changed very much since it. debuted at Walt Disneyworld He would probably love to see what you know what that design ended up coming. So we've pretty much named almost every attraction in every park worldwide, which is good. So we're going to take them to a lot of different places but I also. Want to know. You know it's not just the attractions that you get into a ride vehicle. It is the shows right I. think there's been so many incredible shows on land on over in underwater up in the skies as well throughout all the parks. What show would you take walt to see and why Becky and you have this grin on your face like Jello I know you and I are going to say the same thing I. Hope we're not GonNa say the same thing if you went went this this path and we're in trouble because. I don't want to always think like you. It's a scary thing. I I struggled with this. There were four or five answers, but it kept narrowing me right back down to one and it's Disneyland's version of fantastic. was was the place that I argued in my head and came back to because. For those who haven't seen Disneyland's fantastic you have to see it is it is the same storyline but told in such a unique awesome in-your-face way and. I think that how the lagoon is transformed from the daytime Nice and calm environment to this story right before your eyes encompassing. So many the elements of imagination of the Ip that he knew the Ip that he would learn about So much of his legacy is just Weaved through the entire show it's exciting it's got pyro it's got music. It's got lights characters. It's it's got the the up and up ups and downs of a typical story line. I think that that's the place that I would want to take him I the current version of the show or current version. Yeah. I. Do I, I know that the other one definitely was impactful but I think now. I Call Peter Pan, and can. Yeah. I know, but they did so much more with it with the lighting and the effects I. Think it's a nice twist the current pirate teaming and and plus men that when that ship comes around the corner and you hear that Canon in the lights go on it. It is so startling and so exhilarating to see that I think that it's just masterful storytelling again. I love the way I described that because I'm looking at Jason, he's nodding the whole time because that's the exact same way he described it to me because I hadn't seen it until the three of us me Jason Carlos went out to California to Disneyland like three or four months ago when all this was starting, but it was just the he was giddy about it. I couldn't put the pieces together like it can't be that much different than the world version ended drastically is and I intentionally didn't watch any videos as like you guys were saying about Phantom manner and it really is just as Becky. Describe it. It's it's a very, very different and unique experience that is not like anything we have at Disney world I didn't believe him and now he's not in his head and probably saying I told just one of the things I love about it is he can feel like you can reach out and touch it where in well disneyworld east feel like you're so far set back from it that you get to see it as more of a spectator where I like those those types of experiences where you feel like you're right there and and I think that's one way that Disneyland his kind of. took it up a notch will thing I think would be so great for him to see about fantastic is is this that? Finale. When all the characters are out on the boat I never. that. I would love for him to see that how These characters are still celebrated and loved by by everyone and that would be that would be amazing. You're decades. Awesome steamboat. Willie Mickey. Starting with him, going through Cinderella and Snow White and it all the way to the current characters I think that that is incredible. Lisa what's yours? So becky I love you both for going out of Wada's neuron many of your answers overlapping very much also forgiving that answer because that was my number two. We saw the soft opening of that at twenty three. Not The last twenty three but the one before It, blew my mind I've talked about it ever since. So this is a tough one because I have a lot of like favorite shows at Disney. But none of them like we're the ones that aren't necessarily wanted to take can too, I. And I think like as shows go and hopefully you'll agree if this qualifies as a show. At which is heading to main street. USA in the Magic Kingdom and kind of hitting Casey's corner and just watching the piano player. Oh Gym. Yeah maybe. Maybe. The the Dapper Dans ago by maybe the the dance go by but yeah. I. Like Chile cases. Have corn dog or dog, and just watch the piano. The pianist does have that moment overlooking castle. and again like the it's like, Mike quote unquote favorite shows at Walt. Disney. Roller mostly the animal keenum probably like most people that wasn't really wanted to go with him I wanted to like hit the hub and and have that moment with Casey's. Well I'm so glad that you had that moment there because I was afraid that you or BEC expert taught Becky was going to take my answer and you're answering Becky your answer was great Fantasma Love Disneyland. But the obvious right answer to this. is also in California. It's world of Color Vicky. Proud. That me only right answer and only radio and not watch that without weeping every time. It's it's like, thank goodness you're getting wet the. took the constantly because you can't tell the difference in the you know when there's water on your face between water in tears it is so good the F-. The technology, let's just get that up. Wait I the technology what is like twelve hundred fountains or something like that, and they're like just perfectly choreographed. The. The sermon brothers like the? I mean, you can't watch that just even just the beginning of that show without feeling like waltz spirit being channeled through the show and into you and. I. And I had the I had. I had the great honor of having Carlos and Collins the it for the first time I think what your first time was your first. An so much fun you don't even. WanNa. Watch the show you WANNA watch you watch the reaction to it I- door that Chai think that he would be again. I think it would be one of these things where you seek in. pecan just be wild by the technology. But also be honored now I'm using Lisa's categories he can be honored by. The celebration of these things that he created and be able to see that they're still they're still loved.

Let the basic philosophy of what we're planning for Disneyworld is going to remain very much new. Right now. Either July fourth weekend I got to thinking which is scary I know about the fourth of July and America and Yes Walt Disney. We all know what's up Patriot walt was he loved America and the posts about Seeing the flag-waving in his eyes and red white and blue up his spine and and I was thinking a lot about him I over the years we have all posed or have been asked questions like, what do you think what would think of x or what would you ask walt and I tell you from a personal level I cannot nor would I ever attempt to answer that I think I am woefully unqualified for many many reasons not the least of which obviously I've never met walt yet. But in thinking about Walt, which actually do relatively often a a show idea was born because I think that given the extraordinary and really unlikely possibility of ever having the opportunity to speak with waltz in in this in this world. I think there's definitely more than one thing that I am a lot of us would ask him. And more importantly, maybe even show him. So I present to you the one with waltz and what I what I. Mean by the one, I'm going to pose a series of questions about the one. For example, what would be the one attraction you would show him. It would be the one place that you take him and I want to also see how you think walt might feel about a couple of other topics as well and of course, I can't do this alone, which is why I want you the listener to join along in this conversation and. Fantastic topic I'm really excited about this one and all I ask is that go before Carlos? because. He has a he has a propensity to steal mine well. Spoiler alert not one but two first timers to the show and all part of the after our show that Jason does with Carlos, Silva from Pontoh. ORLANDO. AND PONTA MIAMI DOT COM. Hello everyone. I'm glad honored and delighted to be among such a fine group and no backup is almost like make it here. And finally, longtime friends in the Disney space in former speaker at Momentum Colin Kendall from died four ww dot. com. Lou. It's good to be here everybody thanks for having me on Lou and likely. So I'm probably going to slide a few in here because what's top ten list ray top list if you're not slide sliding a few went along the way. So it's heads though one by definition listen I even gave you these most of these ahead of time 'cause I, really didn't want to put you on the spot I wanted to give you time to think about it. How'd you have the opportunity to ask what these questions are show walt these things because I think we've all been asked or have thought about these questions before and I think we a lot of times we hear. Or you know are part of conversations where you know what you think walt would think of X and I've. Not, specifically mention names but I've I've spoken to people who Knew Walter and worked with Walt. And they to of always been hesitant to speculate because they don't know because I think that was a lot of what you didn't know about Walters. Thinking what was he was planning and you know what he might have been working on next and actually Roy e Disney Walt's nephew said, and he said I'm often asked what what would think a new project and really it's an unfair question and it is and that's why I'm going to save it for the very end. So I want to sort of flip that question around a bit. And it's not about what you would ask him. But more importantly what you would show him had he come back and we have the opportunity serve take walt around and it's more than just the parks and the crews and the company I WANNA. There's a few of the topics that I think we'll sort of get us all thinking about how we might answer what we think won't answer on getting you the listener I want you to think about what are the things that you would show walt again, we're GONNA go from the parks to the movies and maybe a few other. Directions as well. Obviously, there's going to be overlap. I. Think There's a lot of answers that might seem potentially obvious on their on their face. It is not like we're stealing anything that top ten list these are going to be discussion points. But when I first pose this question without sneaking in any of your answers. What was your first thought? So Jason You said you like this topic I honestly thought about this. A long time I'm like is this something that people might potentially be interested in so tell me what you and anybody else who wants to jump in what your first thoughts were when when I propose a topic.
