"Long week of restrictions is also scheduled to be imposed as of Monday, but nothing for these three days yet and steal the daily rise in the number of infections has remained will beyond 5000 people and over 300 are being killed by the wire is every day The total number of infections has been over 550. 1000 people on the number of people killed by the virus is about 32,000 people. But the worst point is that the really figures are much more than this and this is not what the people say. This is what the Deputy Health Ministry says. He says that the really figures is twice the official figures announced by the ministry. Even one official says that it is 2.5 times the official figures, so the situation is very, very bad. And the country is at the third peak of the wire was right now. And as you say, a general lack of compliance with anti Covad rules perhaps suggests a lack of fear, does it Well, the people were afraid of the virus more than this in the first few months, But after a while, they saw that the government is not enforcing the restrictions strictly enough, So they said that who cares? We will contract the virus all on DH get well soon, Some officials say, at least of all of you people will get the wire is so the situation is just plan for a period of time when the hospitals Have Morrell empty bits. Just don't get it right now. They just warned at this level, but people are tired of the restrictions. Some of them have lost their jobs on the sanctions imposed by the U. S. I have made the situation even force for the country House. Specifically, do you think sanctions against Iran internationally are affecting the situation? Well the sanctions, according to what officials say have impacted the country's financial transactions on that keeps the government from importing what is needed for the Corona virus patients, including the ventilators, the drugs and medicine. The government is also struggling economically, and that keeps it from supplying people's needs so the restrictions and care fuse or not imposed as they should be. It almost sounds as if the government has given up the fight. Yeah, Of course. They say that it is going to live with us for one or two more years and just warm people that you should learn how to live with it peacefully. The government just is hopeful that the upcoming election in the U. S would lead to Biden's victory on DH that would lead to the US return to the nuclear deal with yuan and that's finally lead to a removal of sanctions. But that's a long way to go. Iranian journalist Raisa Hasta speaking to us, they're from Tehran. Belgium now has the worst covert 19 infection rate in Western Europe. The government has wondered parts of the country could soon see a tsunami of cases with the virus spreading uncontrollably. Hospitals are stopped treating patients for non urgent operations on the latest reports suggest the government is considering a full lock down within days. Brussels and Wallonia are at the center of the second wave. Our Europe correspondent Gavin Lee reports. It's early in the morning on. We're on our way to Bologna at the French speaking part of Belgium to liaison with driving to a testing center because every morning from about five o'clock will tell the people start to arrive, queuing up to be seen. It's the only one in this area and also this is the place where the Belgian government says it's one of the worst regions on the continent cover cases. I have just arrived at the medical center and put on two Medical masks. It is absolutely packed. There are cars that circuits for at least Half a mile. People are taking two hours to get inside the census on foot as well. They are seeing 250 people, our one in three people. Testing positive in charge here is Jerome supposed them open and started to just you know what? I really think the situation is close to catastrophe. Hospitals are almost want. Some already are and that's protesting. The demand is exploding. And so are positive cases. It feels like we're on a cliff edge. To try to ease the pressure on the test centers. The Belgian government is now only testing people with symptoms. Philip Hurst on Tim are among those cuing. Her has been tested positive..

"I'm planning on going visiting Gruntal for the first time wondering which of the three tolls you'd recommend, which is your favorite as a spectator. And what your top tips to help do's and don'ts, and surely the best of the experience. Thanks keep up the good work. Kit. The roots haven't been nounce for next year. We know little bit about some of the, the starts don't we, we know the Jiro starting hungry. Is it next year? The tools don't see niece. Yes. So we're waiting to the root Shaw revealed a neighbor will be revealed the tool away, announcing Tova, and the JIRA, generally in November of welter general in December. So wants to root out, you can see, I mean, generally, if you coming to watcher grandchildren, you flying from the UK the simplest thing to do is, is plotted depending on which airports, he can get to really and go from there. That's probably a logical way to plan your trip. It makes went the first time I saw the two of the FRANZ on French soil. We went to a time trial, just because you solve every writer, and you had a whole di-, rather than just to stand by the side of the road, and they wish pastern and then walk. Not saying that's not a great way to want you in the mountains. It can be fantastic. The atmosphere in the build up and publicly caravan coming past and all of that, for the time trial gives you, you know, a real sense, you get to see everybody. And so that would be one of my tips if there's an attractive looking time trial near a nice town. I would, I would pick that the two well this granny partake in Wallonia would have been perfect. It was perfect. You know, big city. Bologna, beautiful city lost to do low sweetened drink, and as we said, at the time a fantastically designed prologue protocols logistically was a little bit challenging. But in terms of spectacle, it was fabulous. It was half days entertainment. So that would be good idea. I'm generally, I think Jerry's a good rice to go to as spectator. You on not very restricted in terms of access. You can generally get around team buses, which is not the case now at the tour de France Detroit is about two or three years ago criteria. What they call the paddock area. So the, the general spectator is, is prevented from getting right up close to the team buses whereas the during the wealth of Germany, not the case you can kinda mingle with what, you know, even anyone who's gotten accreditation. So, yeah, I think focusing on, on a city, or at least sort of provincial kind of town is a good idea, but just just planet wedding advance, any notable to get good hotels for about seventy eight years night, you can get something really quite fantastic. Lot of the time. And, and I think the Jiro was we've said it before, but the jury's kind of right dimension for a bite writes, it feels like a very big event without being out to control. Without without the being an awful lot of inconvenience involved in terms of closed rose disruption to public transport, and so on. And so on. I would definitely today. I mean, the tour de France the biggest race in the world. Of course, Bob, Italy, pick somewhere that you would go for weekend, break, basically, because the food's fantastic, the winds fantastic, if you pick a nice town, you've got other things to do around the cycling. So that would be my tip. But yeah, you can't go wrong really with the time trolley as much as I. In a in a sort of comedy, way criticize time trialing spectacle, when watching on TV for the roadside spectator offers a bit more bang for your buck because you, you get to see everyone..

"I'm David green. And I made Martin in me, and mar to journalists who had been in prison for doing their jobs are now free while loan and Chaucer who've were arrested in December of twenty seventeen while they were investigating the killing of ten row, Hindu, Muslim, men and boys. That report earned them the Pulitzer prize awarded just this past April while on spoke after his release today. Thank you. I'm really happy. I can't wait to school might use. Right. I can't wait to go to his newsroom joining us. Now is Los Angeles Times reporter shankman. Golly. He's been covering the story from Singapore. Thanks for being with us this morning. Good morning, Michelle. So these reporters were imprisoned for five hundred days. Why? Now, why are they being released in this moment? Well, it's interesting. Aung San Suu Chee who is the leader of the government the Nobel prize winner, former icon of democracy had multiple chances to let these men go free. In fact, as recently as last month. The supreme court denied their final appeal their convictions for violating a century old secrets law that they were convicted under. So there's been so much crusher and up until this morning. The government had steadfastly refused to bend to that pressure. But the released today signals that pressure can have an impact even on on this government. How how's the release going over in? Myanmar are the people responding. Well, it's certainly been a joyous day for Wallonia Chaucer who for their families, both of them have wives and young daughters and fact while loons daughter was born while he was in prison. And his Reuters colleagues, of course, have been thrilled to have him back. There been you know, lots of happy selfie center around. It's been a very, you know, just a wonderful moment for for the journalists. There are concerned about how they're going to be received in broader society. This is still a country. That's majority Buddhist the crimes that these reported on the massacre of Rohingya civilians, this is a ethnic minority group that is widely detested by a lot of majority Burmese Buddhists people in Myanmar. And a lot of people after they were convicted chose to go on Facebook and social media and called them, traitors and said that they have betrayed their Buddhist roots and things like that. So there is not a lot of support inside the more for their reporting. It'll be another struggle for them. Now that they're out of jail to see how they're received back in society. Right. I mean, do you think they're released will say any kind of precedence? For other critics critics of the government who are currently imprisoned or is this just so exceptional because of the international pressure. Well, this case early exceptional. It's worth noting that under on sense Chee. Her government has seen large numbers of dissidents. Critics activists even artists and performers arrested for things like, you know, satire against the government of participating in protests. So there are a large number dozens we believe of activists were still behind bars, this amnesty does nothing to reverse their conviction. It does nothing to change the fact that they are still remained criminals in the eyes of the man, mar a legal system. It seems like this is a one time case involving these journalists and the implications for other dissidents really remains DC LA times reporter shank Bengali, he joins us via Skype. Thanks so much. Thank you. This is morning edition from NPR news. I'm Rachel Martin. And I'm David Greene. And you're listening to morning edition on KCRW. "And harvey i mean it's all blown up at this point not just because the injuries and spa foreign with the mets over our covering methods and things like that but adriana lima natives his parting himself utterly potentially right along with the at the data you talked about this with me whether mcgregor you want the hero and you want the villain at what's happened in baseball the last five years is that hero and villain from my perspective has been might trout and harper her mike trout was the guy that was you know grit grind put his head down team player price harper was hair flip bat flip on great and you need to know it now i don't think either of them are villains i don't think either of them don't work hard i don't think either of them are art are taken a load off i think they both work hard but i think aaron gene judges much more the mic trout mode of smilin' i'm happy to be here i never gonna say i'm bigger than the team and for that to happen in new york it's part of the reason why people want brice harper new york because the combination of that little bitty ego and it's not a little bit too ego in new york but there's talent and and that's the thing with matt harvey is how much really was there to begin with well let me add other guys started the allstar game he pitched in the world series the left into long because he is pleading with terry collins in that thing changed a lot and i loved him i felt that i really did not actually hurt his career in the method that world series here's the thing about shrout though and this is where i think aaron judge this is the next thing that has to happen because let's be honest and has only been half a year old when he got called up last season he was not great at least 25 and harper enshrouded and do this since they were 920 wallonia but the thing is is that what is trout missing right well he's missing a postseason moment i mean if you really want.
