The Only Way America Can Be Healed Is by Turning to Christ

"Let's go to Linda in North Carolina. Linda, welcome to Carl Jackson prime time. You got the mic. Thank you, Carl. So good to speak with you. I've been listening to you I've never heard of you before. And let's now nanny 4.5. But the thing that I love about you the most, I believe you have a very personal and intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. You know, knowing Jesus is like, I tell people, you know, we knew our president Reagan and we know our president Donald Trump, but we don't know them personally and intimately. But when we get to know Jesus, the Jesus, the real Jesus of the Bible, we know him personally and intimately his character becomes our character. And I sense that in your spirit and also one little word will send that what's wrong with our nation, and I've got a little thing to say, sin will take you further than you want to go. San will continue longer than you want to say. And seeing more call you more than you want to pay. A little children's school. Sandy's going upside run to the craft. I had a picture of a cross and mama and daddy in the bottom. And even in my church today, the young man has grown that was in my San Diego class. He said in a church where an Christian school and he asked him, he said, what Bible are you reading from? And he was the only one that did, he said, mom bobbled doesn't say that. But you know, we're walking Bible. America, even before The Walking Dead, we got people that are dead walking around dead. And so the cows they're dead in sins and trespasses. And the only way America can be healed is for 18° water turn to Christ to get to know him personally. And that his character becomes your character.

Joe Biden Says More Americans Have Been Vaccinated Than Live in the U.S.

"Everything else. So Joe Biden gave a presser during the break between the podcast and this show and during the presser. Joe Biden did some Democrat ballot counting math on the number of Americans who've been vaccinated. I want you to listen closely here to the number of people he claims in the United States have been vaccinated and keep in mind while you're listening to this that the American population the population of the United States is only 333 million people. Everybody clear on that. There are some Democrats listening, so we got to go through the numbers slowly the entire population of the country. Is 333 million people. So here's Joe Biden Palin, man. Check this out, and I said again and again, This is a pandemic of the on vaccinated. We have to get more people vaccinated. I said. Well over what's the number again? I remind myself 350 Million Americans have already been vaccinated. Uh, Uh huh. Uh what You know, Jim brings up a good point Producer Jim If you watch the video of that speech he gave at the White House. At one point, Joe Biden looks down to reference the number, so he's not even pulling it from his head. Someone wrote this note that magically more Americans that exist in America have been vaccinated. I don't know if it's the dead people voting if it's you know, uh, walking dead like Officer Rick is going to appear soon and zombies have been vaccine. I don't know who exactly he's talking about, but how you vaccinate 350 million people in a country of 333 million people. Puzzles me. No, I'm sorry, baby. I'm now I know you're serious. That's the problem. The problem is, we know you're serious.

Executive producer Frank Darabont and Creative Artists Agency LLC will have their existing rights from the show, and it's spin offs bought out by the cable channel. Terrebonne and CIA will still keep their profits from streaming deals. AMC is still facing another lawsuit over profits from the walking dead creator Robert Kirkman and other show producers. Sure there if he's just like i don't i don't think you have to deal in a step parent relationship into the discussion of your may completing you like obviously sadique not the other halford orange. If she if he was they'd be married. You know they'd be together about eugene eugene's the other half of someone's circus beena was ed. Hey you know. What have you like circus peanuts. I'd say that's what you want. That's what you wanna find if you are a circus. Peanut me dow stick with the oranges but Yeah maybe stephanie's a circus pena gay. Somebody should more people should have died in this episode minor. Complaint i agree i agree. We got we got the whole final twenty four episodes season to kill everybody off except for of course caroline darrow. Jesus all season long. Every time they put a smart writer will not put those people in danger. Because or it'll be like minored because like no one's gonna to buy we'll see how many times caroline daryl or put in direct danger this next season. Because that's going to that'll that'll that'll that'll be kinda tedious or just constantly. Put them into danger. I don't know it could be fun if just like every single episode. There's a life threatening situation involving both of them. Yeah turns into adam west. Batman the hour of the howie caroline darrow. Possibly escape the tune in next zombie time same. Zombie times aims ambi- janelle. I can endorse the going down that road. All right. yeah either either. Do less sillier more sillier this. The this amount to silly that you're out with them is is is not gonna hold. You know what's not silly. This next scene. I really like daryl stocking through the horde killing with small betas just like look at around flummoxed guide no idea that would be a good video game mode. Wouldn't it survivors moving through samba. Hoard knife and whispers fucking cool. Do you ever play. Assassin's creed was it two or brotherhood. Maybe there's one of them wear one of the multiplayer. Modes is a bunch of people who are disguised. Ask you -mongst in this big crowd of monks or whatever and you've asked without getting assassinated yourself so it's like a game of cat-and-mouse it's really cool and this reminded me of that. Oh shit that would be a really fun. Walking dead's not really exploited their video game properties the way they could be builder game or whatever the was like whatever it said the telltale lot of fun we played through those but like imagine like some kind of battle we battle royale things you know. Sixty four players half of them zombies from humans. Humans turn go or you can have a whisper mode there. There's a lot of things they could have done. At the height of its popularity probably not still too late but desktop. You know he's got warmer season right. senigon finds beta in the crowd and takes them on. He gets his ass handed to him. But daryl comes in just in time to save him and as betas being eaten he sees a flashback of alpha than with his mask off and recognizes beta. And darryl says not that guy. he's a. He's nobody nobody. Yeah again. the the hacia had in whispers. Zombie speak was choice. The twin knives right into this dude is that an angle that i believe that it wouldn't kill him instantly and it also kinda sorta pays off with these two. Is i see the truth as i was going to say. What is zero is e beta laid bare. And there's like It's poetic like they were good. They gave beta good death like his leg. Joyful weeping embracing his congregation as they're starting to eat him and it's it's pretty pretty good and like i is wondering if they're going to be point where he starts screaming but now he was committed. This was this is what he wanted really makes me think that they wasted the really great death on beatrice though because she's like a nobody we don't care about and they haven't her in two seasons and then you've got beta who should be the guy who just gets torn apart riley in his final moments. He should be proven wrong about everything. He thought where the zombies aren't gonna like turn him and he's not gonna become one of them they're just gonna rip him to pieces. That's yeah you just talked me into. Because i'm like i don't know i kinda liked the fact that it's almost a peaceful death for him but you're right like the show hearing his today deny his his like being. He's not going to be a guardian. You're not gonna be shit. Here's going to be just gonna rot here. Because they tore you literally limb from limb. Peace the peace. Yeah yeah that'd been cool. I would have liked it anyway. Linnea leads the walkers to the cliff and carol rolls up and tells her to leave and she takes over then she approaches the edge and she waits for the walkers to force sir over at the last second grabs her and they huddle behind a rock together as a horde passes over the cliff and care. Thank you for saving her. And lydia tosses her mask over the cliff as well. A lot of this stuff really worked but it just i. It's a little silly that they play this like kind of No no no you know no me no no no you know no no you i insist i insist like those really polite chipmunks and like what was it warner brothers dunno i insist you take the i felt like it was a little weird because see also was obvious to me that like they could adjust. Yeah like just walk to the side and design with a kept going over the cliff like self sustaining thing at that point. Yeah or the. The perfect thing would been for carol to die to save lydia and if they didn't have a spin off around melissa mcbride. That's exactly what would have happened. That have been done better dramatic of a moment but like i thought the holy suicide mission. That never felt plausible to me. I can't figure out how to like. Get out of the just just trip over and fall at the last minute and maybe you get walked on by a couple of zombies liked her. Yeah yeah. I don't know it felt like an empty threat The cgi was pretty nice. The nicer cgi sets that they did. I don't know where on the east coast you can have this colossal cliff that plunges into a river but probably cgi if they can find that place in georgia they'd probably filmed it. They're probably like the latch in mountains. Or something i don't know. How would you like to be the downstream community. Get nice river is clean safe drinking water and suddenly ten thousand stinking. Zombies are damning. It up right. You're all kids sick. You don't know why that season eleven let who off fog. Zombie dam upstream of us. We're going to find him it. We're going to kill him and were morally justified because their total assholes right. Yeah that'd be that'd be that'd be really funny. It does raise questions about these eleven. Maybe we talked about those as we get to the end of this. And i'm sure there will be stuff on that in the feedback episode to But yeah they they also ruined a lot of attention with You know knowing about spinoff but also i. i couldn't get my mind off them. Just taken off their masks them. Just huddle in here behind this rock as normal humans. Yeah talking about the autzen their futures and hopes and dreams and none of walker's stop and go. Hey wait a second. There's a meal here. S a oliver. Death predictions are in shambles. Because i thought this. I thought i would have more..

"I was lucky enough to speak to michael rooker a few years ago about his role as merle on the walking debt. And i'll tell you speaking of the walking dead man your death scene i think it was. I think people's reaction was a guy that people didn't like and some hate it and then in that scene you won over so many people because it was you're acting it was just. He was so cold distant. And then normand's reaction the combination of those two things. Wow wha- throughout the wealthy are morals are in that in that series even from the beginning you can see that it wasn't gonna be your your everyday average cliche redneck. Okay yeah yeah malls mal. No word on if the uncharted movie and the last of us tv series are included in that count So this came directly from sony pictures chairman and ceo where he revealed that his studio is developing seven tv shows. Movies based on playstation games They didn't name any names. Which i thought was interesting They didn't name any dates. Either i mean it's it's interesting right. The big headline. It's a catchy headline. It goes back to sort of a common theme here which is disney. Everything becoming disney The question is what seven tv shows and three movies are going to. Are they gonna make like the you would think they would have less than a little bit. I with the slate of tv's shows and movies sort of being hit or miss on the gaming front. Why not name specific so that they could get some kind of audience feedback and reaction guys. Think i'm particularly interested in these. Tv shows a lot harder than you know. Hour and a half to our movie like a lot of how are they going to agreed entire development but like for example last of us just as as an example. I see that much more as a series tv series than a movie way that one. Either you know. Like uncharted awesome movie. I would watch the movie in a second. But i'm charted obvious here right. Yeah so it out. It's like fixed indiana jones. It's like deanna jones but good. Now let potlucks i. I should say indiana jones. That came out rock. Indiana jones was always incredible and the first three movies are amazing. I mean the margin just to be very clear yes. Indiana jones is amazing. Don't worry paul. We still agree on that. I was about to go after. There is no joy in my heart. I do not like any film harrison. Ford what's that other big zombie series. I wife walking dead right won't wouldn't the last of us tv series feel like a lot like walking dead walking very successful true. True that is shockingly popular like however pushes won't feel and look very much the same. I don't know well. I could say that about every zombie movie ever doesn't days later feel like dawn of the dead. Feel like i don't know you know. Heart of darkness feel like our army of darkness. Like i mean there's zombie thing. Apparently we can have infinitely many of them. People still watch them martin's comments maybe the best here god of war movie would be incredible. I agree but let me come back to the original question here. Why why not announce what they're going to be. I think sony's like. Ip slate is clear. What sony actually owns either man part of that interesting. I think everybody tamargo. Marvin moons But i think there was something with. Sony had movie rights now marble makes the movies but sony distributes it but i think the characters owned by marvel but don't you agree that sony's ip is not crystal clear at least to me well especially without announcing what these shows are. I had no idea what that would make a. you know. I mean uncharted. And last of us were legitimately the only do that. I thought of has a theory why they would announce this without naming names might still figuring out pregnant prematurely sony and william. You might have better with this. But they're i think they're they're video game department way more higher class than their their movie studio and their production studio. I don't think sony pictures is particularly You know they're kind of like the fourth or fifth player. I think in the in the studio in the movie. Production game Obviously sony entertainment on the video game side is very well respected as developer. So i don't know if they can actually execute on this plan. We kind of talked about the riot. How we thought riot would actually which is ironic because ryan has never had anything to do with movies. But i think. I personally feel more confident riot. Being able to make a movie slash. Tv shell about league of legends. Than i am about sony which actually is in the business of making movies. Is it going to be able to have that magic s word. Synergy to in the movie and entertainment. That's so interesting. Because i have a much higher confidence in sony than riot and i'll i'll just i'll just be very simple. It's like. I actually think. Sony has blueprints or more coherent blueprint for what to do like the uncharted movie. They could literally take dialogue and scenes from the game and it would be a good movie. Like i think of uncharted. Moore's movie than a game right like they literally at the equivalent of the marvel comics story board like they can just take the game and take out the like. they're good. they're i think lee has a harder goal there because what is like. What's the story of league of legends. Jeff do you know who's the protagonist like i. I'm sure there are answers to this. And i think i might go no. I don't think anybody really does raise. Like the reality is they. Were pretty complicated. I'm taking crazy. Maybe those riots berretta blizzard and other Do i think riot can pull it off. Yes yes this is not like right. It's gonna make it. I think they're make a great movie. But i think it's much easier for sony because sony literally needs to pick an uncharted game. Get this got the script descriptive at cut it down to two hours and film it and it will be just fine. The games are designed to be like movies. They're set piece moments witty banter reasonably sharp characters and interesting relationships between them like they're gold. You know what i mean. And i think the same by the way of god of war i legitimately think than this last god of war probably might have been better as murphy in some regards like i enjoyed the story and the setpiece moment so much and the camera work was cinematic. Like half of let me the last god of war good was like how beautiful it looked and how it drew you into the narrative with immersion and and that was all i think it was all camera camera lights like perfect for though so

Sony Deanna Jones Indiana Jones Disney Tamargo Marvin Moons Harrison Ford Marvel Paul Martin Berretta Blizzard William Ryan Moore LEE Jeff Murphy

Oh eight which is a four part docu series about Oh the french. Imf the International monetary fund the. The guy who. was accused and i believe Raped a hotel maid in new york. Oh i remember that. I remember the accusation. I remember the charges and he actually got diplomatic immunity. Didn't he no. He actually was put on trial but the charges were dropped because the In basically the investigative Place that he hired to basically find every little besmirching thing in this woman's background and released it to to the media and then it also followed up All of the accusations he had over in france and then the human trafficking that he was tied to later. Gods so i mean the the poor woman never got justice And if if you find any of that Triggering this the show. i mean. just let me heartbroken at the wake of destruction that this man has left and he has gotten away completely scot-free he's remarried. AMC+ to air first-ever Walking Dead holiday special

"Oh, the holiday special. Um, I actually when I saw this headline and went Oh, God, no. The walking dead. We'll take a break from bad vibes to Eric's first ever holiday special. What? Yeah. Does that mean on December 13th? I will tell you what it means. Just in 10 days, okay? There is going to be a holiday special is going to be hosted by Chris Hardwick, and he's going to moderate a mass chat with cast members past and present. Here's the part that's gonna get real cringe. E for everybody. You know, there's also gonna be some caroling s O s O. The actress who played Maggie's Little sister, Emily Kenny, she played Beth Green. She's going to perform the Yuletide classic up on the Housetop. Oh, while let's see. I looked up all the actors. They just list the actor's name, so I looked up their characters while Ezekiel Jerry You, Mako and Lydia is going. They're going to do a parody of 12 days of Christmas, a song presumably with lyrics about flesh eating and society crumbling. Okay, so yeah. On the house top. And then you have the 12 days of Christmas about zombies by those fine folks. On then it's just It's all just so incredibly awkward. Then they're going to do actually the only cool thing If you're really into the show is that there's going to be a table reading from the forthcoming episode, which won't air until late March of next year, so they're going to do a table reading of this. Um okay. So you're gonna basically know what the episode is, If you watch this the next episode and other people, including this are Carol Eugene. Connie Judith. And he did favorite Yes. Oh, it's past and present some people that you thought you got rid of that already died like the girl. It's going to be singing. Um, Emily Kinney. Beth Green. I was glad when she died. I was like, Oh, see, That's what's great about this show. Is that you about Glenn? Oh, Glenn. I don't see Glenn on this list here. Oh, he'd bring us to the yard Exactly. But it's going to be, uh, airs December 13th on a emcees. Premium streaming bundle. We have to pay extra for this I get. I don't know the premium streaming bundle. Is that something I'm assuming it is? It's something that AMC has, like their own streaming service. Like CBS all access. Have to do some research on that, but that's when it airs. It's really great for people who are super into a walking dead, but the whole singing thing just makes me really nervous. That's why I want to see it to see them. Like do wedding. Oh, gods require the walking dead. You know that if they're changing the words to Zombie ish stuff. Yeah, I mean, they've done this several times in the show word. They'll have an actor who can sing and it's just so cringe. E, like, you know, like that one guy who was at the hilltop and he would like, sit by the campfire. Yeah, that dude, she couldn't be there. Yeah. You know what? He probably is begging to be there. He'll be there. Yeah, And so they'll take these people that are actors and singers. And somehow work in music to the show, which is always like no, not this. Bring back the flesh eating zombies. You know, we don't want to see singing by the campfire less obvious. They're gonna attack and interrupted. That's the only purpose. You know what I mean. 12 ripping heads on got suspending 10 rotting body. Nine. Next breaking glory gravestone. Seven shambling nightmares. Six bedded fingers, five appetites for future toes. Three teeth left two bloodshot eyes and a fresh, juicy brain in the hands their ago Now I like that real quick find that good things are out of your head. That was pretty good. Right? That real quick, Jason. Silent for a minute or two. You found it. Okay. Well, that's still excellent. All right, so I'll have to research What am sees premium streaming bundle is and see if we can Maybe just buy it for a night and then cancel. Yes, because I will. I'm curious just to see how this whole thing will go down. Let me just say there are certain shows that shouldn't do a Christmas special. Yeah, that is the first ever walking that there's a reason the walking dead one of those

America’s Zombie Companies Have Racked Up $1.4 Trillion of Debt

"Zombie apocalypse on wall street. Hundreds of big name companies wants american icons are now among the walking dead names like boeing carnival delta exxon macy's. They aren't making enough money to pay the interest. On the mountains of debt they feasted on during the pandemic. Nearly two hundred companies have joined the zombie ranked since march and their numbers are growing total debt obligations now nearly one point four trillion dollars. So is there any hope for the walking dead here guy. I mean what's interesting. Is that a lot of these names. They are names that we talk about trading on this show. So how should we start thinking about this before we get in the walking dead. I just want to point out. That's a great job by our crack. staff leading. With of course the cranberries zombie which is a bit of an obvious choice in the great delors. Oh reared who lost too soon. She was obviously the founder of the band wonderful vocalist. I might have gone a different direction. And maybe we could've played something like this for example. Melissa leo the crack staff is listening into the show. Why the zombies. No it's important to point out the folks at home. It's more important than actually trading our first topic in what is known as the block of the. It's not it's not more important. And i and we'll talk about the black and we'll talk about zombie companies because i think it's important and last night we mentioned macy's and you talked about one hundred dollars table. Then tim said might be the thousand dollar table. And i think collectively. We thought there was a real good chance that with test that nine fifty five level which was the june high and i think it got up to nine twenty five today on two or three times normal volume. Now's the time to be taking profits. A lotta shorts have been squeezed other companies that you mentioned delta for example. I think that's a completely different ballgame. But what i will say. This counterintuitive is. This may seem if the economy starts to get better. You would think this is good for these companies but that means interest rates economic higher. And that's going to cripple some of these companies. We talked about it last night. And i'm sure one of our guests coming out. We'll talk about that again. Tim how do you start thinking about macy's and that debt that they apparently can't service. I mean when i think about dombi i think about that thriller video and i know guys got that red leather jacket with all the zippers on it. So just just to be clear. I think when i think about those companies you just mentioned they're all they're all different in terms of their Potential to be proper zombies a great band by the way. But i think you know boeing not assam company You know it's not Boeing is a company that has the ability to raise debt. But more importantly yes. Boeing's business has been totally disrupted boeing. His burned through so much cast in the last year. And it will burn through some castro most of twenty-one but it will be free cash flow positive by twenty two in probably be neutral by the fourth quarter so calling them assam company. I think is absurd. Calling macy's zombie company is something that's at least a fair analysis although again macy's showed that free cash flow with something that they expect they're going to have in twenty twenty one two and a company that raised a lot of money To to at least be able to fight another day including having a three billion dollar asset back facility is something you don't do cartwheels over macy's position right now but the recovery there and i'm long so i've made this clear. I actually think there's more of a recovery story even though i don't think macy's gets better overnight. Delta relative to other airlines is not even close to his ambi- story dealt is actually going to start to make money towards the fourth quarter of next year and we're not talking about a normalized business. We're talking about a business where odyssey international comes under a lot of pressure. So i also just think that the fed and the role that the fed is playing here and the role that the fed will play just through talking About the bazooka in their pocket means a lot of these debt markets. Don't have a whole lot of an impact in the next six months To what people think they're gonna do. I really don't expect it so it doesn't matter that these companies zombie companies it doesn't matter that delta added twenty four billion dollars in debt since the pandemic started by baldwin. At what point do we start getting worried about that. Debt load and these companies guy made the point that if the economy gets better you would think that that'd be better for these companies that can make more money they can etc said sell more whatever they make but then interest rates go higher. So how do you weigh that. Yeah those are all interesting. Factors that keep into To keep in the front of your mind. And tim did a good job of laying out the differences of these companies. But speaking to your question right the commonality of all these of these companies that they have as you have looted to have added significant portions of the balance sheet this year and they're burning through cash at a rate and their revenues are down at rates that we just haven't seen we're talking about you know seven and a half billion dollars of cash burn and eighteen billion dollars of casper burn boeing's example seven and a half carnivals example. So you have this push pushing pull situation. What i will say is that you've seen across the board. All these companies put one thing. I right and that is runway. And so they've taken on this debts that they have enough cash to get them to their next stop in order for them to continue to be able to operate what we've seen is them trying to achieve operating leverage by reducing staff count. And that is what. I think the topic that we're kind of trying to speak to. Here's when you start slashing human capital when you stop investing in capital expenditures when you stop innovating that is what leads you to being somewhat of a dead zombie company even after you've getting on the other side of this debt service coverage ratio also something to keep in mind. You can't meet your interest. Can't meet your debt service coverage ratio. You got serious problems dan. Yeah i think bond would makes a great point there and just look at our auto industry over the last ten years and obviously gm came out of bankruptcy ten years and wiped out a lot of that debt but they had a huge government interests that was really carried along and probably hurt them a lot of different ways as far as innovation and the way the bhawan just described it. It's clearly hurt for a lot of ways and look at the auto companies are doing really well right now so i think that's a great point. The other point on this make about this is that this is the world that we live in. It's the world that a lot of parts of our planet have been looking at japan over the last thirty years or whatever and then we are going to be saddled with debt whether it's consumers whether it's sovereign balance-sheets whatever the heck it is corporates. That's just the way it is. And that's why interest rates are really never gonna meaningfully. Go up again. Because we can't service all the debt and just make one other point if you think about twenty twenty and what's happened here. Obviously the fed has done their job. They hit this crisis early to make sure that we did not have large-scale bankruptcies right of some major corporations which would really snowball the unemployment situation here but let me just tell you this here. We are now four months out from expanded unemployment benefits. Were heading into the holiday season. We're in a very rocky transition and a lame duck. Congress and there is no more fiscal stimulus for small businesses and consumers. That need it really bad. So the fact that we have a trillion dollars for a bunch of companies that were buying eighty five percent using their free cash flow to eighty five percent of their free cash flow to buy back their stock over the last five years. The airlines and we can't bail out restaurants so we can't bail out consumers that is really troubling to me. Yeah we're really tough spot right now in terms of that bridge to the other side waiting for that other side for the vaccines actually be distributed and as well as injected into the arms of americans

Killing Conflict with Dangerous Love Chad Ford - burst 13

"I'm going to hold myself accountable to how I see others, and then how I treat them in three I'm GonNa roll up my sleeves and I'm Gonna I'm GonNa. I'M NOT GONNA. Try to win a conflict nor am I just going to give in and rollover nor am I going to avoid that that real relationships are when we roll up our sleeves and work on our problems together if that takes weeks fair enough if that takes months fair enough because we're committed to each other. And we're committed to each other success and each other's well being in each other's happiness. This message we live in a really polarized country I'm right now J. seems to be lost on. So many people right now that there is no successful outcome. No right to an election if half the country feels abandoned if half the country fills loss of half the country feels like they are not being seen or heard or valued. There's no win ready. For anybody for the winners or for the rights, there's really no. Right, and that's true. All the way down into whoever our partners are to our relationship with our kids you you win an argument and your spouse loses you lost to. Absolutely. And you might not recognize it today. But YOU'RE GONNA pay for it I'm down the road and so learning how to collaborate and really problem solving committing to that. Is is is something that is a value that I think sits at the very basis of what it means to be human I'm right and what it means to be a good person. Right and so I can have a value about is on time or you know this is my political stance on whatever it is and and that could be really important to be fair enough right and we disagree on it fair enough values important to you. It's not necessarily important to me, but because it's important you. How do I? How do I understand that I understand what underlies that what? What, what, what's in your life experience whatever that's made that? So import do and how do we get creative about finding solutions that meet that need for you as well as meet the needs that I have I'm GonNa Bring the table because one thing I think people misunderstand about dangerous love love and thanks soft and okay. Here's here's what you're actually telling me. Just, love the person just give up whatever it is that I dream. Hope for one. Just let them let them win right because that's what that's what a really good person does and my answer to that is also the exact same as why you don't fight them right that doesn't work either right in a relationship. We it's it's about us not about me or them it's about us, and so us preservation becomes the rule of the day. We're Chad. Do. Right. There I'm just telling you. Chat four dangerous love is the book. I WANNA I wanNA talk about I. Think there's something fundamental about the metaphors at US between smog and the cocoon. because. I think. We've kind of danced around it but I think the metaphors are so powerful. that. If if people understand whether they're whether they see conflict as from a smog perspective or cocoon perspective that can really help us I believe because it helped me you know start to see conflict in a different way I. Think it's an important concept I. You want to just go ahead and give us the smog versus cocoon. Because I think they're powerful metaphors by the way. The Somebody engages me and says, Hey, I want you to help me mediate your conflict or whatever the I I asked them is can you give me a metaphor of what this conflict like means to you usually people pick things like volcano exploding or you know shark chasing nereo something that's really sort of dark and Morbid it's really helpful for me because I would say in my book they have something called the smog, the of conflict and and I use smog as an analogy right as a metaphor because you think about smog is it makes everything hazy it's not good for your lungs to breathe. Continued exposure to that can even cause cancer in your lungs and what have you. But also people feel pretty helpless of what do I do a smog like I can go buy a prius or something like that or I can start walking to work, but there's millions of other people driving cars. All over the place and none of them are necessarily going to be doing that as well, and so something has to change externally me. But in the meantime, I'm slowly suffocating dying right and that and that's sort of a view of conflict. It's going to lead the self-defeating conflict styles and start competing or I'm gonNA start running or I'm just GonNa lay down and die and given an in each of those cases of not actually going to get anything that I want that nor will I get something that will actually be released sustainable in a relationship but if you Have this cocoon view if you think about it. Okay. Like there's a caterpillar in there like walking around their leaves they're doing they're thing right. But then one day they wanted to become a butterfly. So they get in this Christmas or this cocoon and it's really tight and it's dark and probably pretty scary and there I doubt it's very comfortable for the Caterpillar. If you know what happens next the Caterpillar actually liquefies it actually actually essentially dies right but then it comes out of cocoon in it's it's got wings and it looks completely different by the way to I. A butterfly is not a caterpillar with wings. It looks like a different creature, but it can fly now. And I think that's a better metaphor for what we're trying to get with conflict. Yes. It can be a little scary. Yes it can feel confining. Yes my heart might be beating. Through it, but it allows us to fly at the end allows us to look at the challenges that we're facing together and find solutions that work for both of us and that so much better. Than just running or fighting or laying down. And and when we do that, we can we can fly and so yeah, conflict could be hard. It can be scary. That's that's that's true. But look what it can do to transform us. Right and transform our relationship and the best relationships as beautiful in the workplace are collaborative the best marriages. Are Collaborative John. Goodman. Who's done tons of research on married says you have an eighty percent chance of your marriage not working out if you don't let your partner influence you. An influence, your decision making. And then vice versa right. In other words if it's all about me, if I've got the inward mindset and my partner doesn't influence me, I influenced my partner. Right eighty percent chance of my marriage falling apart sometime. I'm right because people need to be seen. They need to be regarded. They need to be heard they need to feel like they're influence matters and that's true for all of us, and so I have to be alive to these people aren't always going to want to do it the way that I wanna do it or see it the way that I wanna see it and have to be open to finding pathways. Right that that worked for both of us in that, that's what makes a. Relationship a great relationship and why so many of us are right now struggling with certain relationships in our life and saying man I just wish I wish this was better I. Wish I had a better relationship with one of my kids right now really struggling her I know my wife and I are like roommates right now like you know we we live together but we're not really connected where the walking dead where zombies like we're living. But we're not living our communities we can't even engage. In these things and the answer is yeah, because we're not. We're not allowing ourselves to be influenced.

PlayStation 5 UI revealed: “Activity” shortcuts, picture-in-picture

"Christian. Spicer what is your story of the week? My story of the week is I wanNA, take a mental picture of right now where we are and I want to compare it to the end of this generation's life cycle because that is why I love you I the playstation five revealed issue I. Finally, thank you. We've seen a lot of the xboxes in the PS five has revealed. It's and the simplified kind of cleaner approach and showed off what can happen by pushing the PS bind on the controller and all the shortcuts, and so you don't need to go into the full home menu kind of get everything you need and. I think it's really slick looking for what I've seen I think it's you know until I go hand on with it I don't know how intuitive it is because there's always that line of like ad in featured and is the thing I want where I want it to be or not But what I'm super curious about is if or when it changes because that is one area where I feel like Microsoft has been very flexible over the years with the xbox one line of consoles and how much of that you I changed and as far as I can remember that ps four Cross media bar has kind of been what it is and I think they're not. Stars, I'm concerned. It's like it is because it it just is what it is. It's like this is my eighty. Corolla. It's great but the STO works. But it is. Yeah a little cumbersome in this I feel like the new one. I like what they're trying to do with it I think but Mario and Jeff I'm curious what your thoughts are on it from a user perspective. We'll let's just before we get into what we think about it. Let's just kind of. Summarize the. which is it's it's much more visual. Right? I mean the cross media bar has been text that comes up at the bottom of the screen and you move across it and pull things up and yeah there's a few images of games here or there but mostly it's it's a menu, right? It's a big long menu It's it looks to be the case that this new playstation five Ui. Is kind of using a card system that highlights what calling game play opportunities. It says, basically, this shows you can go back to things you missed, and so on it also shows that you can jump directly into levels or challenges that you WanNa plan certain games, and there's a new picture in picture feature that lets you view other parts of the game without leaving the screen or area you're currently in so Mario. Christians. Question is a good one. What do you make of it? What do you think is the more visual thing better or is it just more for the sake of more? It's funny because this whole week I have nothing but wanting to see what this you I was, and then of course, in one random day, it just dropped and then we got the state of play for it. So I'm so excited to actually to actually see, and then what I saw was a card game. Much and you know what? I love me some Card Games, the Simpsons Card Games still on my favorite games, I've ever played my life by all about card games. Exactly. But when it came to what I saw. At first I was like, yeah, I'm excited for new stuff but ultimately when it came to cards. My feeling was I just even though they're trying to look try to clean up some stuff with the lower bar with the audio function. Oda Audio functions. But when he got to the cards, things it just to me just look like more of a cluttered mess and I was terrified by it. Now granted majority of those were like it looked like for trophies in terms of percentages and stuff like that, which could lead into more information pilot complete those things that's all well and good. But then there's obviously the developer. Notes on the left where I I mean. I'll be honest I don't read any of those messages that come up when I look at my ps four and so for it to be there, I'm just hoping that there is going to be more customisation terms of how I want it to be in terms of removing certain things and just focusing on certain areas. That's just my. Take of it because every year I felt like my love for the PS four Ui had waned especially up to now where I feel like it is a drag in order to go from one place to the other. Obviously the the biggest thing for this generation is definitely be speed and I really hope that's all speeded up I do like the fact that there's games in media there look like they're separated now in terms of different areas. So if I, really WANNA focus on all my media stuff it'll be in one specific place it is. Now it's not good I hope. It's better. But when it comes to games, I'm also happy to the fact that it looks like everything's optimized for the game that you're playing and overlays on top of that for the most part. That's the big key thing I think is really nice about this. You I. Yeah you're right I. Didn't mention that and that is a big part of it is that all of this overlays on top of the game, you never actually leave the game you're playing or at least you don't have to leave the game you're playing in order to access all those features whereas push. PS Button on your your controller now it takes you out of the game put you on that blue screen and you're you know you're completely in a different

"Did you see my list. I have not no. I have not been on facebook. Last night after we podcasts at work. So authorize I, swear to God you guys we will talk about world beyond. Last. Night after we finished podcasting I went upstairs and put my laundry away and the cat of course is being all cool and slinky and hanging around the dresser and as I slammed well can slam it, shut it firmly a roar shut her tail was in it. There was lots of screaming. I was not doing any of the screaming. And I opened the drawer and she ran off under the bed and I'm like you got at least come out. So I can see it's broken or not. She ultimately came out it does not appear to be broken. Her feelings were hurt. She's probably a little bruised. But yeah, she planted the spider in your shower. I actually, my friend Michelle was like you know you're lucky. She doesn't go outside anymore because she'd probably pack a dead shrew in that drawer. Okay. So back to world beyond I, do you have numbers for both a certain doom which was the season finale last night for walking dead prime? And I have numbers for this first episode of world beyond. That's quick I. Know, right. So certain doom was two point seven, three, million views, and that was actually quite a bit down from Pacific fifteen and I think it was probably just the. Oh, my God it's been so long and I'm kind of falling off and they announced the end of the series and is this the end of the series and you know me, I? Think that was probably a lot of it. And then. World beyond was one point, five, nine, five, million views which I thought was pretty good for. A series that's actually gotten. Awada. Really. Negative critical reviews. Yeah. A gazillion sharp decline from. The. Season Front sort of season finale of walking dead prime. Yeah. But still I mean, you're not going to get the same audience you're just not. I mean, let's face it this Faren most people are not diehards like we are. Yeah, that's true. You know and also I mean it's gotten negative reviews and there are a lot of people who are like it's the walking duds young adult franchise don't bother. So I'm not surprised and I actually don't think it's it's gotten, I don't think it's number is terrible. I hope it continues to improve I. Hope People will give it a chance again, it may just be that rosy glow of Oh. Thank God new content, but I enjoyed it. Yeah I mean, I it's I. Think at this point, it's probably a little tough to. Welcome brand new characters that have nothing to do with the you know our our old main cast alright Baldwin..

"Hey everybody. This is Diane Welcome to biters and this is more Nell and it's Judgment Day. All, right. So episode four out of five of dead set. Because, we're trying to get this done before walking dead premieres or. World beyond from your and we get our final episode of Walking Dead Season Ten. We are and we we were bad. We haven't done that the last episode when we said we're not on the last episode on the day we said we would be. So you know just have walked going on this week. Sorry. Yeah Yeah I get it. I just fried most of the week two and I'm the boss next week this coming week. So it's really not gonNA. Help. Yuck. I don't like to be the boss. I mean they have to like baby-sit people that sucks. We'll. So Hey, before we get going, I would like to welcome my friend joy who did not know that dead set existed and is as Ambi- fan. So I said, oh we're doing it. Now you gotta listen to Biters, and by the way you really should check out the crossover that we just did with the folks from for the head and you like their podcast to. Man you know I. Think we talked about it but that was such a fun pod. was so much fun. She So joy did like both pages today and she sent me a message saying that she really liked that side. Good. Good I love it. You know and it's found new life on net flicks. Everything seems to find life on Netflix Even, serial killers. Especially Sir. Man. Are Well. I am going to give you my reading I. I didn't like it as well as did previous. Episodes and we'll talk about why but I give it three point five light machines out of five. Such a low rating being it's not a terrible reading. It's a sea. Might. Kidnap. Okay. I'll tell you There was just a lot of stuff were the filming was not good and it wasn't so much. The shaky cam stuff it was it was a little dark. It was a little hard to follow what was going on and that really detracted for me. Yeah I could see that and I will warn you I. Don't think it gets much better for the next episode and I know that we always complain about how dark shows are, and you know the got you gotta work we're getting old we aren't up the volume if is not my old lady is because I got them out this week and I have brand new contact lenses. So this time it's the show. No it's always the show I mean. Ten million game refrains watchers cannot be. But I gave it a much higher rating. But not quite as high as a have raided the past ones I gave it four point two five man size portions of Pedigree Shem. For Grayson. Man. We'll get into it. Patrick has a point. Patrick's. Fotiadis E.. N.. L.. All right. So our numbers it was watched by nine hundred, seven thousand viewers I'm assuming in the premier. that. is slightly up from episode three. Don't really have any numbers other than that. the title that they showed in IMDB or not I'm wicked Kapadia was running. I associate that with Rick's character I feel like he spent a fair portion of this episode running..

"So the thing that I absolutely want to make sure I started whispers corner with and you kind of talked about it already. But we did very extensive conversation around season ten season eleven of walking dead and the. The announced ending of walking dead as a series. So. I would highly recommend going and listening to the aim for the head podcast not just because we covered that extensively there but because saying Steve are awesome. Air. So. So yeah. If you WANNA know the biters thoughts on walking dead ending, you're going to have to cross over and listen to him for the head. So please do that. If you have not done already subscribe get more like give them a good review. It's worth it. It's worth your time. Yeah and don't mind them about the fear the. Oh come on we do into. You give them a review. Just don't mention that the two of us are on exactly the same page that they are right well, maybe not exactly because I think she would be fine with. Madison coming back and I'm not sure if you'd be fine with that. But actually I would you know after this last couple of season. Last. Season because season four was good. Yeah there was yeah. The whole. After as long as you live that blue when leash was a bad ass again, it was good but and then I watched. deadwood and yeah, I would be okay. If if Madison woke up after the damn explosion in everything after that had been a fever dream. You. Know she almost drowned when the damn exploded and I mean recovering from drowning as a very serious thing. Yeah and I'm sure that she had lots of like terrible visions while she was recovering from drowning. So hopefully, that's what season six is GonNa tell us. Think you'd even bring Nick back if they did that. Too and they can put Morgan back on the main show. Oh my God we should. Right. Like I had this fantasy that I ended up in Texas but really I was just lost in the trash he. And I found white in the trashy too. So Weird. I'll be out of. And his wife was there and it was wonderful. And My. God. Diana were here to commiserate with us. Right. Okay. So on, we're whispers corner so. The. Of this is a little bit spoiler E. So if you don't want to have kind of light spoilers about. Walking dead world. Beyond and fear you my fast forward about five minutes. So I found several things that were some reviews of world beyond. And it was really interesting. It was pretty much split fifty fifty. This is a great series and it's dead on arrival. Why? Yes. So there were heated feelings on both sides, not not much in the middle. The opposite of love is not. Different. So I did. Find out more information about this series. So that's what's kind of spoiler. It focuses on two sisters, their names, Iras, and hope. they are. It's about tenures. Past, the beginning of the. Apocalypse. So. What right around the time that we first meet this current incarnation of Judas..

Hey, some an extinct about Caray Peyton is that he is actually on last week's episode of Dan Fogler podcast. and I listened to the Intro I have actually saved his interview with Dan Fogler. Actually spending a lot of time, talking about them and I wanted to pay attention. I didn't WANNA fall asleep to that, so I'm saving it, but yeah. Cari is on Dan Fogler podcast last week, so. Oh cool yeah. All right the big and I don't know if you saw this, but this was pretty big news Qari. peyton revealed I wanNA see just yesterday that his son harder is trans. Right. and it was A. "Is seen in comic book panel in basically a full medieval suit of armor, and so there is speculation that because of this this person who appears in this iron mask in the the footage that we've seen from the season finale that perhaps that's Claudia and that they're pulling that storyline an. Interesting Yeah I don't know if it's true, you know I'm definitely gonNA look for the graphic novel reprint when it comes out on August. I. I would imagine that. They they're gonNA scream. Squeeze every drop of juice from the walking dead, so I can totally see. That happening. I think what I will do right now is I will look it up and I will put the link to the graphic novel release on our websites on our facebook page rather. And apparently it's out in the kindle store, but. I, tried finding a the kindle version of it and couldn't find it earlier so not quite sure what that's all about. Amazon basically has the comic book and then the hardcover version. That's coming up. The comic book is available on Amazon. And then the hardcover again is being released the beginning of August. So very cool. Yeah, well I have one small thing in okay talk to you about this. Before we went on air, but Emma. Who Played Amy Oh my Ryan? Dead Yes if you donated to? I have one last thing for whisperers corner, and then we can get into our goods, bads, uglies, 'cause. It's getting kind of late. Man I've still got charts to finish. Yes, Steve Moore Charts. So yesterday on Twitter Addy Miller posted that it was the tenth anniversary of the filming of season one episode one her parts with Rick. So that was. In some ways I feel. Like just a couple of years ago and and other ways the last month was ten years ago. You know I saw really funny commercial today, and it was something lake. Welcome to Friday. The third of April or something like that. It was really I was like Oh. That's how we're all feeling right now. Yeah! This is the longest. June I have ever experienced, and it's June eighth so. "And, it's an organization that is Urging. early release for non violent criminals at the end of their sentences to flatten the curve for cove. It okay I'm GONNA totally go off a little bit here and this. My lefty flag is flying big time. Leonard Peltier does not deserve to be in jail and he is still in jail, and there are people who were recently incarcerated. And they were members of the trump administration or trump's election team or trump's attorneys, and they are out, but Leonard Peltier is still in jail, so I saw an interesting tweet the other day it was. You have been in quarantine longer than Brock Turner was sentenced to jail. That's chilling. Chilling. he's involved with this movement called. We matter and. I think it came about because of the covid crisis, but I think once that kind of dies down. It'll probably parlay into a movement that surrounds the reintegration of a former incarcerated people into society because You have a lot of people of color. Who had and we'll talk to have been oppressed by this system in stop and Frisk and like Judicial disparities win. It comes to people of Color They now have a criminal record, and it's very difficult to get a job. It's very difficult to get a place to live. You don't qualify for any sort of assistance If you're a felon, you can't vote. You know so You want these people to be released back into society. You can't lock them up forever so they should be fully functioning members of society, and so I completely applaud his efforts with that. I know it can be a touchy subject because nobody wants to be the person rooting for criminals, but They're people, too. I. Don't know you know. I had some really interesting experiences when I was working in the prison system and There were definitely some people that I was able to talk with, and I distinctly remember having a conversation with one guy saying. You're not even remotely. The kid that you were when you were incarcerated all of those years ago. You're totally different human. So if you're interested in that sort of thing, I have a podcast recommendation I think of talked about it on the show before. It's called Ear Hustle yes. Your Hustle is on my to listen list, but of course had never listened. Yeah and. So it is put on. Mostly by the inmates in San Quentin. And it's it is just super interesting that you know there are people who have almost lived their entire lives incarcerated for very very minor things that I mean it's just. It's mind boggling. You know I mean. Third. Degree attempted robbery and you get like twenty eight years in prison. Third degree third degree attempted robbery. It's just it's mind boggling..

"No fluffing code. I was GONNA say I'm GonNa get a pink fuzzy so anyway. Sorry we were talking. You were talking about the book being better because you can flush people out and and you you could just. There's just a lot more usually contained in the books than you can put on screen and doesn't always translate to the screen I was actually watching a movie. I'll kind of controversial controversial movie so I won't do name the name of it because it's a a true story and they all the characters at were true except for one. There was one fictionalized character. Now we're all insanely curious okay. It was bombed shelves about the Fox News But Margot Robbie character was fictionalized. Because they said they they basically rolled a whole bunch of different other characters that were involved in it in to one person to For the ease of storytelling onscreen basically and I was like okay. So it wasn't just that one ship that had like all these experiences it was there was like four other women and she just encapsulated them all on screen. So sometimes you have to do that. You know you can't always tell the same story that's in the book because it just doesn't translate onscreen so I think we we. I don't feel like there was a lot that was done in a comic that we didn't get with McCowan magna though I mean I feel like they. They tried to make it really big and it just didn't happen. I don't know we did see Jules with Luke again notice that I did I did. And what was he doing? Was He trying to like six or radio or something else goes. I thought okay. 'cause I was like okay. What's the errand that needs to be random? Why are they trying to hot wire? This old car then I was like okay. They're not trying to hot wire. That's trying to rip the wiring out of it so between that and the promise of wheels by Princess. I kept thinking who? They're still gonNA have gas that works in. The apocalypse with executive gap is plain. Right tone I now I would. I was like really. She's got a whole garage. I can believe she's able garage full of cars that if any like I mean you have to. If you are sitting I mean you have to start them. Every once in a while with cycle of fluids through the spark I will tell you that we've actually had our corolla sitting for two weeks and we started. You know we ran it a couple of times just because you know to keep the fluids running through everything and make sure. The battery doesn't die. Which way more knows quarantine was over and she is healthy. Yeah Okay I was. Su Two weeks symptom free corentin ended on Friday and I did two things on Frag. I'm still maintaining the whole. I'm staying home as much as possible. I went to the pharmacy and original liquor store. Those were my priority. And they're both medicinal exactly the way. I need to make another weekly run. To the liquor store ornate. Later Saturday you're corollas been sitting you've started and this is just a two week period right just two week period and we didn't obviously didn't start it long enough for it to charge the battery to run our remote start. Our remote start actually stopped working so we had to. I actually drove it the other day to take my dogs to their groomer. Which again social distancing dropped them off in a covered porch and then she called me and said they were done and I pick them up on a covered porch it and have contact with my groomer. She groomed my dogs but I ran the car and finally the remote start start working again to so I couldn't imagine princess having this lake garage full of cars were she's like meticulously started them and ran them at. Mike kept them full of fluids and gas and spark plugs. And all this other things for you know at least a year so and would our heroes foolish enough to assume that there were functional car somewhere at this late stage. They were desperate. I think they were willing to go on a little faith because they had no other choice versus Oregon and they had the promise of an. She never said cars or automobiles she said. We'll he's wills. Yumiko was like so. You have transportation and prince's like yes. When I moved back into the rewatch nobody actually said vehicles or cars interesting But again like even bikes at this point. You know you're running on rims because the rubber on those tires has to be on it. Good point which I mean you. Can you can run a bike on. Rin retires definitely aired up and and stiffy. That's for sure. Yeah so but like you said fifteen miles an hour is that are that than walking pace so you take what you can get. Hey Carlin Enid ski in the Samba Apocalypse. So anything's possible. Now another thing that bothered me like we're just getting over winter now and like our roads are covered in like gravel and dust and just all kinds of other stuff and of course any apocalypse the pavements can crack and it's GonNa Root. You're going to grow up underneath that everything just now. Skating is not possible. Sorry sorry that I touched on on an old nerve. I'm just jealous. 'cause I like skating and I can't do it. I did like what Lydia said to Judah when she looked up and said not everyone gets to have a mom like yours. Yeah ouch I really related to out. I do have to say that and I will give her as much leeway. She needs for a little while but lady was. Kinda grown on me when she was like all off on her own. She rescued Daryl and she's cut hunting around food and everything. And I'm like okay a Cadillac. This lydia like she's not that annoying teenage whiny girl unlike acura Rebecca Teenage girl I will get back. Yeah we should get back on track. I hope like maybe principal come in and they'll be BFF's looking to see if I've got anything else. I love the part. Where am princesses like? They're like why not queen and she's like because it makes me sound old and pretentious. I use that as my beginning. Oh and then it was like I'm that was really funny. Because he was definitely channeling his king persona in terms of being courtly and wordy and Jeff and I love how when you wanted to take her gun the rich. She's like no I would probably take out one of you. Maybe two of you and then she looks gene and she's like but then I'd have to deal with you and I'm like she pointed out that she going to kill Eugene last like. That's interesting that you like your plan if you were going to take out. I and I don't know like I think I think it would have been Yumiko Eugene and then Ezekiel at. Maybe I don't or maybe Ezekiel Eugene. I I don't know like out of this three. Which one would you take out trying to out last again. We get the whole internal monologue which I really like. I would take humor co first. Because she's the most threatening. Yeah she was the most assertive and threatening. And so I was thinking like king lasted seems to be the most affable. You know although if you look at him not knowing that he has thyroid cancer as compared to Eugene. He looks like he's more of a fit warrior than Eugene Right. And so you know I can totally get her her reasoning. But I just thought it was fun and I thought it was funny to bet completely slid like Eugene wasn't like I'm flattered. You wouldn't kill me. I I love the line. That Ezekiel had when they were going through the minefield. And he's like I have been afraid of many things but this one's new when she was like stay close to me and please watch your step who did not think land mines like obviously if somebody is like it needs to go landlines but I was like okay. There's something like tunnels or something that you could fall through. You know we traff. Yeah and she would have been my thing if I were princess. And she's like why. Can't you the quickest way through town and you know thanks? I would have been like okay. Good luck getting through moby tracks. Then I would have totally used that line to get them to hang out with me. I love it when she's like you. Guys are real right. I mean for the first time for everything I do. WanNa say that's directly from the comic books if I remember likely that she goes through the whole monologue of whether or not. She's eating the group that she makes contact with. Yeah I just I completely identify that though because I think I probably would have went there too late. Okay Been Long for year my at that stage where. I'm now loose needing people like my going to start answering the phone. Now wreck right. The only other thing that I have is that I I guess I just felt like it setting us up to lose a lot of people in season earn in episode sixteen. And I'm wondering if they'll follow through with it or not. Who Do you think we're losing? Well I think we're probably going to lose the Errand Alden I think we're GONNA lose Gabe. Yeah I can see that and you know Rosetta Death Watch raid so yeah I can see I can see all those and of course Ezekiel Although there was another heitkamp I think it was deadline. Editor deadline insider my might have been one to four obsessed to they. Were talking about how it's like. Well if we're going to go visit you know a place that has means is possible that is equal gets treatment for his cancer. And I'm like you. And if he does at this point you know it. I can't imagine that hasn't metastasized. Diana keeps joking that he just needs to get in the back of a truck and go to Texas and everything. I just read a little radiated walker blue. Yeah oh it'll be like targeted treatment right there you go. It's spreading nation. It's like we were all nuclear. Scientists last season will be radiation oncologists this season. Yeah I love how. Cnn for the head and one of their last podcast is talking about the well. You know we're not aviation mechanics like those kids for the walking dead was like. Oh God I forgot about that. Well maybe they'll live up to their seasons trailer. We can always hope. I really really hope so. Well you have some feedback from Steve and I have some feedback from. Victoria's I do so Steve Baldwin the for the head podcast steep Says hoity another podcast late last week. A lot of Kobe talk but still a good discussion on walking dead. Can't wait for the finale. Whenever it is looks like the final battle against the whisperers is going to be at the great stuff in this episode. Caroline Kelly and Darryl and judith any give 'em Lydia and princess What an intro. Not sure why Aaron and Alden were so close to the horde I totally agree They were just begging to be caught and look. "Hey everybody. This is Diane. And welcome to biters and this is more now and for the love of God. Please wash your hands. Yes so I still am horse. I'M PRETTY CONVINCED. I'm the first cove in nineteen case in Alaska. But it's late because I haven't been quarantined for the last fourteen days so you are all S. L. E. L. Even if you get it you'll probably be OK right. I'm not worried about me. I'm worried about all the people have good. In fact frightened young. You're healthy. It's just really bad. Cold becomes pneumonia right. You'll be fine total. Wash your hand so like the stores in. Juneau are completely out of clorox wipes and parral and everything like that and people are just freaking out and I'm like what were you all doing before you dirty dirty birds. Oh my God I know so okay. We're obviously going to talk about the corona virus tonight. Probably even beyond Zombie right but so my whole thing is I've been in healthcare for over twenty years and the number of people that I see who go into the bathroom. Use the bathroom and don't wash their hands. It still freaks me out so yeah. Those people are not changing their house. So here's saying like maybe it. Will the virus will get all those people to start better hygiene practices and will stop the spread of the regular coal? And right right. I mean that's that's GonNa be how it works so I think a certain amount of freak out is important. You Know I. It's a novel emerging disease. We need to be aware of that. But yes there are other things that are communicable that we can prevent that people die of every day. So you survived. Sars we survived h one n one. We survived a Bulla. You'll be fine. Yeah is wash your hands and does her face and don't as your pain My biggest my biggest motivation for not getting the corona virus is because I work in the Public Health Director's office so I really don't WanNa be patient zero right. You imagine if I gave the chief medical officer for the State of Alaska the corona virus. She's pretty cool and she's pretty healthy so she probably wouldn't hold it against you you know. And she's the one that's been crisscrossing the country from Alaska to DC. So she's probably going to the one that gives it to us right all right. We are actually here to talk about season ten episode ten styling. Stocker Alright. So I'M GONNA go first with my rating because I liked it so much better than last week and I spoil it for you this week. You only spoiled little bit so I say four point seven. Arterial bleeds out of five. Wow you rated higher than I did a lot more and I didn't watch so I don't know if that changed your rating or not eight did like eat gained on the rewatch for me so okay yeah. I Walk I. I really really liked it at my second. Walk through my I watch through the second one. I picked up on so much more of the thing that I is my good so I gave it a four point. Five teeth and fingers. Oh good we will talk about games. He yeah well so I have no numbers. I went to TV by the numbers. Which is where I usually get the Nielsen ratings. And last week's episode did not make the top twenty five for cable. Interestingly enough that outsider did but it was like twenty four out of twenty five per one. There was a lot of news and sports ball. Okay Yeah Yeah I swear I might. Internet travels on 'cause like I was trying to go to Forbes and things like that tonight and I I swear because it's Super Tuesday. Oh I just everything just just keeps reloading like at a be able to read like a paragraph and the page reload and jump back up to the top so well. I had dish trouble again because we had a giant snowstorm. This weekend and our dish was so buried than that. Hubby and a neighbor actually had to get up with a allowed and clean off the roof. The other on Monday. Okay so it was. It wasn't like dish network was out. It was your dish. It was totally weather related. That's crazy we got probably eighteen inches in twenty four hours man. It was crazy scene. It was monsoon here. We've probably got eighteen inches of rain in twenty four hours. Thankfully we live on Tundra so the the ground is just like a sponge. Okay so I had some stuff about the title of. Oh Yeah so basically I I I was like is Darrel. R soccer is our nope. Betas are stocker ages are stuck or an. Lydia was a stocker a little bit of one. You're right yeah. She stalked both groups trying to figure out which side she was on. So I don't know tons about the title but I felt like it was. It was appropriately titled. Yeah I think we definitely saw the stocking primarily with Betas. Storyline this episode. Oh my gosh. It was so good so good. Yeah so are writer was a guy named Jim Barnes and when I looked him up he wrote ghosts which we all really liked from the first half of the season where we now when we talked with Diana and Steve. All of us were like yeah goes so is one of the best episodes of the first half of the season and the thing. That's really funny is while I was watching and taking notes I was like you know this has the same and I didn't realize it but I was like this. Has the same vibe as ghosts. You know there are these moments of what's real what's really going on. Is this person perceiving reality or is this person hallucinating? Something and then sure enough. I was like there. You Go and you know. It's it's funny that He wrote such Carol centric episode previously. And this episode. I mean one of the noticeable things is we did not see Carol or most of that group at all right. But it was really Daryl centric. Yes Daryl and Beta the other thing that I thought was really good about Jim Barnes and I was like I love the sky. He can write for walking dead anytime he really captured that. Authentic Horror Vibe Which he also captured in goes. I mean there were all of those things that were kind of nightmare on ELM STREET. That were very very much a nod to the whole genre so it's pretty cool to see him revising it in this episode a revisiting it in this episode. So I was thinking Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees and it was funny because there was an article titled Beta voorhees what's really funny is One of the Forbes guys mentioned Jason Voorhees and I was like I was thinking a little more. Mike Myers Michael Myers but same thing and I think it was and I think it wasn't Gaylon heard did who was on no no no no But they were talking about how this was their quote Unquote Halloween episode very. Okay yeah definitely. Yeah so Jim. Barnes can write for the walking dead anytime he is written on a lot of shows that I like I Gotha Falling Skies Revolution Nikita was always on the list. But it's so far down there that that may not come to the top of oil. Maybe when I'm retired and living further north and I have eighteen inches of snow right and nothing else to watch exactly which we're going to talk about other things to watch too. I'm I'm creating a new corner on our podcast this week. All right. Oh Go ahead. Talk about one podcast. You're listening to so why not what we talk about what we're watching we do. We always talk about it. So yeah we're creating a new corner. We'll get there in a couple of minutes so our director was a gal name. Bronwen Hughes and talking dead pointed out that she has directed breaking bad and better call Saul and they pointed out that she was responsible for the episode that introduced Heisenberg. Which was Walter Alter Ego? I have not watched breaking bad yet and I know my goal liked the last person on earth. So I'm going to tell you I haven't gotten into better call. Saw haven't tried but breaking bad was phenomenal. I actually really need to take the time to watch it because it was so good. Okay so maybe I do. Need to be quarantined for fourteen hundred. Okay Fair Enough. She how looped back around today you just give me a call so bronwen Hughes. This was her first walking dead effort and she's got tons of director credits. But I'm GONNA totally date myself here. Her very first director credit was an amy grant video. Oh.

"I was thinking you may be taking your by logo now. I wasn't that good still taking a horny. Go The trip over my walker to get to the bedroom game so we will talk about. Our old is later later in the episode. My God I know right again so having Carola also episodes of Lucifer and he actually played a character that I thought what had more episodes but I guess he was just mentioned along because he played a bad guy. Centerman so Yeah Yeah and he has a healing TV series coming up called Madame. Cj Walker. That sounds interesting did did it happening description. I didn't click on it to see if it said any more about the series. Oh the story of hair care. Pioneer Madame CJ Walker and the trials faced in the road becoming America's first black self made millionaire. I hate to say it probably not on the list does does that make me about now or something. Now the logistics really long but there's eight episodes currently I guess filming. They're not in the can yet their title this filming but looks like somebody bought eight episodes. So we'll see if that lasts but Yeah I don't know how long he'll be on the the walking dead. I don't know if you'll just give me shown what but she's come forward and then we will see him again like heath. Brian idea what's happening but yeah so there's really I mean there's not a lot of personal details or anything about Kevin Carroll so yeah that's kind of it. I did not try to find my youtube. Did you identify into now. I just did not have time. We are podcasting so early in the week nowadays days I know and you know I have to say not to be whining but my three day weekend. which is a blissful thing was? I was busy every day so so being able to get on and podcast with you guys tonight being even halfway prepared was Meera Cole. Brian Message just and he's he's like I'm ready to go and I'm like Oh God I four minutes left in my rewatch. I had just gotten home from the Mr Rogers movie. Like an Our prior and I was like okay. I'm GONNA close my eyes in the recliner for fifteen minutes. Oh my God that feels so good. I don't want to whispers corner was kind of busy First and foremost Brian. You alluded to this. We had the ad for the new series views which gave us the title of the new series world. Beyond right and so this is my second thing whisperers corner and this was a big deal for me. They have higher Julia Ormond to be in the series and I'm totally aging aging myself but I remember her from legends of the fall and loved her in that movie. That's exactly where I know. Oh my God that movie's GonNa be twenty years. There's old if it's a day it's probably closer to thirty years old. Probably Jim Jabir. You guys are talking about I'm pretty excited. I'm excited one. It's in spring of twenty one me so that's pretty cool because that's coming up. It's probably pick up a week or two right after the main series prime is over but a couple of things. We don't know Where's fear going to slot in then if it's going to be Spring of Twenty twenty are we even concern at this point? I'd right like fear. Excuse me did you really. You likes the season. Y- I I believe that. Yes they did spend too much time doing stupid stuff but I believe it's there. It's there pivot their new direction. I gotta ask you then we have to go down this rabbit hole. What do you think of the check? Who is the Teddy Roosevelt Check Ginny? Oh they're so stupid. I don't like that but again I mean we're just seeing another I don't know what you call the interrelation of characters right. There's no difference between her and the king and Neon or the whispers this this is just their innovation. They've found what works for them and they're just sticking with it and rolling with it. You know. It's funny that you say that because if I'm being fair fair which I'm not very often Yeah King Ezekiel is totally ridiculous with his Shakespearean speech and Megan is is totally ridiculous with his swagger. So I don't know I ginny bothered me so much but she really did. She was not. It was not expected right and I think the thing that really kinda threw it off a little bit. is she still Kinda capture like teeny bobber like. Hey Girl which is what I thought was just like? Oh my God. I hope this lady gets shot right off her horse. Yeah so all of the other people that you've dimensioned Megan the whispers. They all had a sort of command of respect. Like Jenny I'm like why do people follow her third bigger fish at the end of the line right. So it's kind of like cheese like the the groups that need Senate right the outposts cruise right. She's just the leader of this outpost and there's ten other parties that go out searching in different directions. And she she just she just a lieutenant right. She's just out there thinking she makes the people she comes in contact. Thinks she's the boss. Well you know. She's not uneager right even though she says she's needing she's not done again right. So that's kind of the whole I believe anyways the whole charade of it all from it to you. Were both much more forgiving about fear that I I just I think fear this was really to kind of end some storylines start some new ones and really just kind of pivot away but when they they ended the series this summer. I'm just like this is a total Glenn. Moment right Morgan's not right. This isn't happening right now. Order Lennie James Apparently has a very successful new series back in England so then why didn't they let him get shredded. Why why did why? Didn't they show me the body right. I you know I don't know you're right. It's Glenn moment he's he's he's Schrodinger as Morgan he's dead dead at this point dam kids all right a couple other things whispers corner of Phil sent a message to me this week and there was a one off published walking dead comic comic with the subtitle the alien and apparently it was a digital off a couple of years ago and they released a hard copy to local comic stores that it came out on the twenty third of this month. I have not been able to find it digitally so I I don't know I guess I'm going to have to go to the comic store and see if they've got any laughs laughed have either of you seen it. No known Phil said he read it so I'll have to have him send us a little synopsis and Let us know what it is. It's it's supposedly firmly planted in the walking dead university. I don't know how where I feel like I've heard of it before it's like isn't it. The story of someone who is stop like overseas. No I have no idea I feel. I feel like we've talked about it or maybe no listen to another podcast and talked about it. You were cheating on us with another podcast several my first Rodeo. Joe Oh my God you guys okay. So total detour down a rabbit hole away from whisperers corner. I finally finally listen to Joe Rogan. Really enjoying the heck out of it really yes he. He has some really interesting interesting people on his show and by interesting. I mean. You really shouldn't give them an hour. Oh no you're totally wrong. I listened to Kevin Smith today. It was amazing. Oh of course. Kevin Smith unarmed. Totally Cherry picking the interviews that I want. But they're they're really I knew. Yeah Yeah Mattei who is a writer for rolling stone. That was a great interview so sorry told these. Are the back to whispers corner now. Go the segment where we talk about. Tom Protein bars absolutely. That's part of whispers laced with you. Ladies Tell US okay. For starters protein bars you need to be getting quest bars rescue the US birthday cake or the donut ones. The birthday cake like one pages like birthday cake and don't want these like doughnuts. Oh my God all right so bill marr once tastes like he can't bark swear to God Lord Jim Nuts. That's right I like I probably have never had a legit protein bar in my life. I I have one in your birthday present and I'm GonNa Change Your Mind. Not You is something perishable no this report so mm bone number two. I had to pick with you for podcast. Have you either either of you listened to disgraced. Land her now. I've actually had a suggested to me by someone else so that yeah so even yeah it was just. It was a random interview I heard on my local talk radio. 'cause I'm farmer and that's what we do. We listen to talk radio and it was just a guy on there pitching he was the creator of of it. Pitching his podcast is on a radio segment. And it's so fun to go through and I- Cherry pick which ones I listen to because if I don't know the artist I don't really care if I'm not a fan of the artist I don't really care but when you find one that you do at talks about the real history right because what I hate is so one says well. I'm not listening to that band anymore because just use an example five finger death punch. I like probably the punch but the lead singer Vitas his ex girlfriend right okay. Whatever like I'm not here to judge it's not like I'm all of a sudden? Stop listening to the band close. I may influence so I counted this guy with the argument. I'm like do you know the real story behind any of your bans any of your stuff and that got us into this podcast and like let's go through and start finding people so it's fun to like if you don't care about what someone's real history is to make you not listen to music nick. Then whatever right it's worthless and it's totally cool okay. The first episode is did Jerry Lewis. Kill his wife and get away way with it. I'm already because there's an rock and roll right. This will lonely the into my slumber tonight. There's really good ones out there. UNDERST- graceland I really like it. It's good stuff very good. Totally put it in the queue. Then then yeah definitely. We're not done yet. Number three bar to they want every day every day. I'M GONNA send my midland. I'm in a gym. Getting all swale ladies like all right before you go to number three chocolate Caramel Brownie. Coconut cream chocolate. Raspberry or chocolate aurons no Let's go to coconut cream okay. It's deal Marnie are getting a giant orange one. I already know it already. Of course. It's my two flavored sweet elite flavors. Yes all right number three bone number three streaming services okay. So here's my plan. I'm a playstation vue guy playstation abused over January. Thirty first conveniently when sports ball is over..

"It was called two thousand mine set of two thousand nine two thousand nine. Aw Okay and then she performs. Let's see lies. Hazlitt in Twenty Twelve Bingham was nominated for an independent music award for best cover song. Let's see there was something about. She actually goes and plays in places in New York City. Who did you cover assay with the cover? Song was US aid. No it doesn't that's too bad. She's opened for Jason Mraz and she regularly performs at New York City's Rockwood Music Hall Webster Hall and Brooklyn Academy of Music or Bamn. So you can. You can catch her there sometimes times. Maybe okay she says she is so like I am not pulling any of this off of her. IMDB profile She has a ton of media out there so she has got facebook instagram. mm-hmm Youtube Channel twitter. She has a my space while she was still has a my space. I know I I probably still have a my space but I don't remember the password so yeah. We are probably hopefully going to see a lot more if Stephanie. We're definitely going to hear more from Stephanie Thinker. I don't think they would have cast someone who is is this known if they weren't intending to use her to her full capacity and there's a lot storyline for this character if they follow the comic book Ark which they they were pretty true to some comic book stuff this episode so like I said she is currently on New Amsterdam so I mean I don't know if you can film two shows at once she she does have a very. I would say a minor part on New Amsterdam but I kind of think she standout standout because she's gorgeous. I like her character But she's the one credited so far with this one episode of walking dead now. We'll see she had. She has a short completed and She has something called Tiger tail in post production. And I believe Steve She was also is there. There's going to be a barbershop three. I believe and she's supposed to be in that so she's got she's got a lot of work coming up but I'm pretty sure she can probably fit in some walking dead time. Well so the only go ahead. especially if she's just a boys so the only thing I have to add and this is the only place where I really you did. Any kind of deep exploration. She is really active. In charitable work as well were two organizations nations that were mentioned in her. IMDB page one is a group called City harvest and they actually work. I'm feeding the hungry. In New York City city and then another one was called orphaned starfish. which is all about helping? At risk. Youth Kids who are orphaned. Kids are kids who are survivors survivors of abuse or trafficking indigenous kids so I thought I would post links to both of those organizations so people could take a look at them. So on her webpage. Page it also mentions that in similarly she is involved with the George Melita a foundation gala for fostering empowerment in the Congo and supporting. LGBTQ use very cool so yeah she is definitely only a woman of the people. Well I think we're GONNA see a lot more of and here a lot more of Stephanie. So I hope so. I hope so I like I said I really like her character. Even though it's a really minor character on new Amsterdam Boardwalk Empire Boardwalk look in prayer was on. The list are still on the list. It's just really way down there. There's so many episodes to catch up on well. New Amsterdam was on the list for me because I have not been invested in the medical drama since nurse. Jackie so which was amazing? I know that grey's anatomy is another one that I'm just like there's just too many episodes so I started new Amsterdam when it was first started and I'll started the resident when when it first started and so I'm up on those but the rest of them just like Oh. I haven't got through six feet under. I haven't got through dead wood a a guide. What did I start this weekend? I started Oh the purge is back on You know I'm in the mood right now. For a purge or Zombie. Either one but what did you say about the way that at my friends and I tonight were actively plotting either the next Zombie apocalypse. Or maybe a planet of the apes takeover we're just going to break into an animal's Test Facility and release all the monkeys and see what happens but don't let it happen until after I season ten of the walking dead is over. Yeah definitely and I'm totally kidding but we really really were talking about this because we were talking about how how everyone would go to Cosco and but are costco would be a great place because there's a costco and home depot right next to each other so you have all the building materials and there's this really nice furniture store around the block and then right across the street there's a brewery and there's a place that like takes like junk metal and cars and stuff and so we could just do a whole perimeter around this big old block and be great. It'd be sanctuary. I know where I'm going for the so they don't have dogs anymore. I'm I'm in big trouble here so I better get with you. This is this is how my day is going. We're actively planning our Zombie apocalypse bunkers. So my day actually started with active shooter training which is really last week that you work somewhere where you have to think about. Active shooter training but anywhere well while they were talking about out. So there's this whole new thing it's no longer shelter in place right. Now get out if you can if not actively resist do whatever you can't yeah so or flight. What is it hide flight or fight well so the dude who is teaching it today was Kinda talking about all the different things that we could use? In our various areas to defend ourselves I thought online fountain pen and the walking dead. Let the letter opener Paris scissors. Yeah we were talking because we had active shooter training last week and we were talking about this I like anytime I go into a new office. I have an escape route like I don't know if it's because of some of the places that I've worked worked at taught this because of the people that we work with the type of people in the public that we work with But I like like I have. I had this whole route planned out in my last office. Because I had a ledge that I could jump down onto Kind of an overhang on the street read. It was basically a one story and then a one story hop and so now I actually. I have a big old cement building I can get out of my windows does but I'm five stories up. So yeah that one's out nuts like the Janas in dirtyjohn. It's because you've watched too many episodes of the walking dead Right and you know I listened to too many true crime. PODCAST I watched too much dateline. And there's two serial killers in Alaska right now. Both of them are well. One of them are one of. Them's caught the other one. They're looking for. The dude is on the run after the murder of three in my area. Yeah Yeah Yeah so the world is scary place all right we just need a good. We need a plague to wipe out about ninety percent of this. I know that I will be part of that. Ninety percent trust me. I have no illusions before the there are a couple of things that I want to say first of all I know I only a couple of decades lead but I finally started watching the West Wing this weekend because of Bradley Whitford Wizards interview on Angry Americans. Man You know the other half has been trying to get me to watch west thing for like five years years since the last election it's great and Bradley. Yeah is amazing. Plus he has a role for which he just won an award in handmaid's tale. Actually don't think one of the other thing that I wanted to talk about before I went into whisperers corner corner is I watched the movie overlord this weekend. Have you seen it. I don't think so. Okay so it's a J.J. Jay Abrams production. It's basically the walking dead meets inglorious bastards so so I have to admit I haven't seen glorious fast. It's so good I know I know so. This is a world war. Two drama trauma and the Nazis have a super soldier which basically is kind of a Zombie. Oh okay I remember seeing the advertisements for this about so it was not the I've wasted far more time on far lesser things. It was kind of a nice break this weekend. I'm going to have to watch. We may have to review it at some point. It was fun. Yeah okay two more things than than we'll get into whispers corner because we are running along tonight already and we got a late START I do I do want to say I agree with you. The impeachment hearings. I just want to put this plug out there you guys. This is your mandatory a civic duty. No matter what side of the fence you fall on. If you're living in America in two thousand nineteen should be paying attention. So that's my civic duty locher after I think if no matter which side you're on a fair on either side or nobody site it's still riveting like I was list because of course we are four hours behind the east coast saying he's very much getting up things. We're just getting rolling. Yeah Yeah like five am. I was up at three thirty for some reason at five. Am I was like Oh click here. It is and then like on the way to work I they were live streaming on Youtube. Says listening to it and then at work listening to it. It is much as possible as I can at work but yet I thought it was riveting lake. I there's a whole lot going going on and there's a lot of arguing. I mean it's Jerry Springer with better suits I really I actually elevated a little bit more in my mind. I really felt like like it or not. Buy into the premise or not. This is our Constitution in action. This is actually what our founding fathers for better or for worse gave us as a remedy for situations that we think are intolerable. It's the only the fourth time in history at a forty five presidents. I was listening to interviews today and the historian who was being interviewed. said it's something something like once every sixty years Yeah wasn't that much time between Nixon. No but if you kind of outraged aged out over the bill of our Republic Yeah so anyway so folks generation Yeah Victorian Morris. You are excused because as you live across the pond. Yeah you got brexit that you're still going through good point. Don't even concern yourself with our crap stuff out all right. The only other thing I wanted to see say before I went into whisperer corner and this is totally frivolous I bought address arrest on Ishaq. D Dot Com it and this is not of why we don't get paid for this. Oh No it's totally a plug. But not because as I get paid for it right. It's a fabulous product. It was a really affordable..

"For three years so he paid six blocks for this. Oh I'm so jealous. I didn't get in on that action. No Man those rose thirteen bucks a month still nothing. That's two three Law Taes Sto- I depending on how well you tip. They pay over one hundred dollars for my cable every single month. So if you think about that all the stuff that you watch and don't watch like uh of all the stuff that I watch I can probably condense it down into like an c net flicks who Who Yeah Hulu Amazon Pri- like I already have most of that stuff anyway? So I mean heike get five or six six other streaming deals and cancel my cable and probably still save money. So I gotta tell you how tips Diana who were who does aim for the head with seve leave she also does handmaid's tale podcast and I still have not watched handmaid's yet because I read the book it. I read the book like thirty years ago. I F- Well I love anything like dystopia future. I have more to say but can't tell oh by the way when we go. Oh interesting so it's not all right back to the walking dead. Although I think you're right I think when did Disney streaming come out. It came out on the twelfth. Isn't it so just started yesterday. Oddly Tuesday so I don't understand most well Half people bowl got a three day weekend. Why did you not release it on Friday so everyone could bench there weekend away? Don't understand Tuesday. Yeah so walking dead may lose. Its plus seven this week because everyone is like I I had people that like stopped work to explore it on their phones. Okay I guess the I mean I can kind of relate sometimes but that's bad. Yeah they were geeking out. There's a lot of like cool stuff on there all right. So let's get into the title. I saw like all these new and old blondes ons like Battelle calendars rain. So I really felt like this episode. Brazil exploring relationships -sity and Dante's Sadique and his baby. Eugene Rosalita Eugene Stephanie. Do I absolutely agree but of course I had to over think it. Okay so hold on before you over. Think it. Because I want to see this. The relief I felt like Beta and Alpha and Carol Daryl real really mirrored each other. I will have to go back and watch that on my rewatch. They just see no. They've both been a unit for so long and they both went each other really both couples and couples as in relationships as in duos know each other really well but there was also also this crisis of confidence in both of the relationships well in both relationships are very explicitly plutonic plateaux platonic platonic. That's what I said you said plutonic. Oh did I yeah like blue. I also I had such a day that I literally came home and open to beers at one site which by the way everyone Lilith Hellfire. You're speaking of beer and Martin L. has agreed to marry Martin L.. If she moves to Florida is patient there so I might be being able to snowbird except for shipping. My dogs back and forth. That much is would just be a a lot. Yeah six months on six months off kind of like percents any right right all right so anyway you over thought the title so tell us what you over thought so I looked up. What abondoned is a bond is a thing to tie something or fasten something together or it's a deed by which a person is committed to make payment to another Force or feeling It's also a promise. there's legal bonds and so when Daryl and Carol stepped over the boundary. They were breaking their word. They were breaking their bond. Oh very good. And then at the end end Stephanie. Over the radio and Eugene made kind of a pact not to tell anybody about what was going on they made a bond nagin pledged his loyalty to Alpha. He was pledging a bond nagin salon on spawns as in up north seriously bad. So was that the captured Wa whisper. Darrelle made it a point to point out that Carol brought zip ties. She totally planned that. So so yeah. There was a lot of bonds in this episode. And in every sense of the word I like that you totally thought it because I over thought it a little bit but I take it nearly as far as you did well and so one of the very first I things So we saw the Dr Carol in the opening and then we cut to Dante and the woman hits his patient who was who says she is one of my favorite of patience so bodies manifest emotions all sorts of different ways. The heart wants what it wants. It's and so that's another type of a bond donohoe relationship between two people the Chemical Bond Romance Yeah. There was a lot to read into this episode so I had to over think it well and so again with the overthinking thinking. I think it might improve upon rewatch. Alright so our writer was a guy named Kevin diebold or D. Bolts. We're not quite sure how to pronounce it. This is his first foray into writing for the walking dead. He has been producer for all. Six episodes is the season so far He has worked as a writer on a show called. Kevin Probably Saves the world which you said the other half really he likes. Yeah and then. I haven't watched it. Then he's worked as a writer on a series called copper and you said you've watched watch some of that. I did so I watched like the first couple probably two to four episodes. I can't remember it. Was it aired back in twenty two thousand to two thousand thirteen. It was two seasons and it is set in the five points neighborhood of New York City in the eighteen sixties. And you'll like this. It focuses on a young Irish copped to navigate an unruly and dangerous immigrant neighborhood hood while interacting with the uptown. Manhattan crowd so yeah it was. It was really really good I I I love a good period piece in anything with accents so and it was a cop drama. SV You in the eighteen hundreds with an accent right. Yeah God. What was that? Leonardo di caprio movie with that they were in New York wasn't wasn't it. Yeah Yeah Yeah so very similar vibe. Yeah well he's I. Oh go ahead. Oh now I just I like I I. I kind of fell out of watching it. It was one of those that I had to pay attention to and I have zero attention span so I have to. Maybe I'll go back and rewatch it. 'cause it's only two seasons we have some attention span because we podcast every week. And we're halfway articulate. It's so the writer. Kevin also worked on Borja which I heard was is a really good historical drama. I have not watched it but I think if you probably liked like the tutors that would probably be something that would be right up your alley and then our director. We have talked about before it was Dan. Lou L I U He has short incompletion called the last he has written or sorry directed three episodes of the walking dead. He has also directed two episodes of fear including channel four which was the cult. Recruitment video last episode or last season so at least it wasn't the Virginia Colt recruitment episode at Channel. Five right so I have to say I think he was the director last episode we talked about allege Orne okay torn and we were talking about he I know he was a writer last episode he was also a writer in a little little short film called the trial of Han Solo. We find it. I found on Youtube and I posted. Did it to biters so you guys can check that out it. It's it's a little slow. I would like a little more dramatic music because it's it's like a Perry Mason Mason types trial but it does start out with a law and order doing so. I thought that was hilarious. But there isn't after after the credits scene. That is absolutely hilarious. If you get bored and you don't WanNa Watch it all skip to after the credits. It's it's really funny. I'm I'm going to have to find time in my crazy week and watch that. That's worth devoting twenty minutes to. Yeah it is well so you did food a deeper dive for our featured cast member than. I think. I had a chance to do today. So tell us about our featured cast fast. I wouldn't say that I was super distracted today. Obviously Day one of impeachment hearings whether you love it or hate it. It is very very historic so I was riveted and then I need to send you nar wall puppy. Have you seen this. No there is a puppy with a tail. AOL growing out of his head. Okay best adored so I was totally distracted. All Day did not do my due diligence but are featured featured cast member. You would think it would be captured whisper because we know we're GONNA see more of him but it's actually the voice on the radio. Stephanie Sunny the actress name is Margo being him and most of you will probably know her from boardwalk. Empire her where. She is a magnificent jazz singer and as a singer songwriter as well as as an actress so that that make sense yes yes so I actually know her from the show called New Amsterdam. I have to tell you that on the list. So she's actually currently on the show now she is playing the fiance. Save one of the surgeons and I really like their storyline in her character. And everything so I kind of recognized Her when I looked up on IMDB because of course we don't see her in the show we just hear her voice. And I have to say you know Eugene's probably going to be pretty happy that Rosetta took a pass on him. Because she's a Babe Margot Bingham as gorgeous not sorretto says not it but yeah I mean you know if if you're GONNA strike out yeah yeah. This is a a really really good consolation prize. So she's a native native of picks Pittsburgh if I could talk Hawk and she started modeling when she was nine and then attended the Pittsburgh High School. High School for creative of and Performing Arts Ah She has been in the off Broadway revival of rent yes and so. She is known as a singer and she's also on the Boardwalk Empire hire soundtrack but she has released albums under pseudonym margot be she had a two thousand the nine pop CD with call..

"But it's a thing so the husband has a friend who has like watched every shark nato movie and anxiously awaits the next one. You know i get it flakes. If it's a you know i don't like country music. It's people love country music like it's not it's awesome. Things are not for everybody that is right yeah yeah so the whole they used to live in warm. Are you still there back. You have to have to repeat yourself because you faded out for a second there. Oh no so we lost you at shane okay. We lost a talking about them. Being in warmer climates so because of climate change. Maybe we'll get the mangla don beck yeah. I don't know we're doing a pretty good job. Killing off the oceans altogether yeah yeah that's true. I'm just thinking of our so we had a massive gray whale die off in alaska this year that's right. It's been pretty grim. There have been numerous dead whales beach. It's been really sad. We've had a couple live really bad seasons for <hes> like commercial crabbing and fishing and things like that to the point that <hes> because at alaska so we regulate our fishing so that we don't over-fish so that we will hopefully have fish forever like a very generous interpretation of what the state law does but go ahead and do you know that hawaii has no fishing game like you can. There's no licenses. You can fish anything anywhere anytime though i did not know that so we are we are we are heavily regulated about our fishing and there have been a a few years now where they haven't even opened seasons up just no crabbing no commercial grabbing uncertain salmon areas as well because the returns have have been so bad right <hes> we're having a tough year here right now because all of our streams and riverbeds this has been dry because <hes> we've had such a long hot stretch and even when we do get rain it's just for brief periods periods of time and so even if the salmon could get upstream to lay their eggs in a day or two the stream dries out. That's that'd be depressing. Yeah yeah boy now. Gio corner has taken a dark turn. It's so disappointing running. 'cause salmon is delicious. It is but fits your food not friends. One of the dogs agrees with you yes they. They get fish a lot. I say when we were in sled dogs pretty heavily. I got really good at filleting salmon really good because we processed lot of salmon for the dogs that we worked with. Why would you fillet them. Don't you just put them all on the dog food cooker because we tried not first of all we cook them him. A lot of mushrooms will actually feed raw which i think is a bad practice <hes> and we cooked the fillets and we cook the eggs but we did not cook the bones <hes> interesting yeah so speaking of bones. The mega don bones that you were saying that is basically cartilage that made me think of birds oh interesting so it's it's just kind of amazing mazing how things kind of evolved that you know we were all once in the primordial ooze of the ocean and then we grew feet in walked out and left he now. You're about evolution the shame well. Did you know that the two gliders were named aimed for darwin's <hes> or origin of species the two editors even the submersibles yes they call them gliders in the yeah so there was a darwin reference in the movie very cool oh so it was on topic for nat g._o. Corner no but this actually actually is inspiring me to start actually watching shark week. Oh well you have at that. Maybe i'll read like nasa will meet in the middle. Sharks are interesting interesting. The lock not loch ness nessie alright so whispers corner. I've got a few things yes s. First off fear the walking dead is in a little bit of trouble so there is the possibility the travis county texas which is where austin is located is going to ask for your the walking dead for seventy four thousand dollars to cover repairs to to a street called breaker lane that they really trashed while they were filming role. No they apparently left big ruts in the sidewalks lots lots of debris that needed to be cleaned up and they tried to clean off the road and actually ended up destroying the asphalt sealant ha so news this week is that that travis county is probably going to go after them for the repairs. Don't they have insurance for that sort of thing you. You would think you would think yeah i think i think somebody in a._m._c. needs to look into that right stephen that out all right. Did you watch the trailer for the new series. I have not it's really good. Yes it has been sent to me and and and people have asked me if i watched it. I have not watched it so it just has the kids kind of voicing over kind of the beginning of their story and it is it looks really good interesting is he's excited for it yeah. I'm excited for two. I mean if the trailer is any peak at at the quality. It looks like it's going to be good. I'm a total hypocrite. I'm always griping about the kids. It's on the show but then i'm like. I want an entire show with nothing but it's going to be like lord of the fly so it's fine. They did say that it was going to have a lord of the flies feel that's awesome so it is rumored that the new series is going to open with plane crash. I did hear that there. There have been pieces of a seven thirty seven fuse laws being brought in to film the opening and it's being filmed in hopewell virginia during the first two weeks of august <hes> yeah so i heard that these kids were basically isolated from like all of the fallout from the apocalypse and surin whether actually saying is yeah that they had a pretty good sheltered life that they decided to weave and then well like something happens so i'm i'm when does does the plane crash like years into the zombie apocalypse where this plane come from how like maybe alice flying yeah maybe are. I knew i knew this. Propellers were bad right propeller. Do not transfer from a one style of plane to another no. I don't think they do so. Did you watch the zombie land to trailer. No god at all really good. I loved the first one i did too and i don't have anything particularly smart to say about zombie land to which is called double tap tap except the trailer makes it look fantastic. Does he still do the rules. Yes rule number one cardio and there is a new character a who gets the rules who tells the rules to that's so awesome yeah kind of a cross between harley quinn and the main character from legally blonde elwood's there you go. She's crossing elwood's and harlequin. I will take early two thousands of movie seriously. I people will call me and they'll be like there's a thing on the radio who played the thing in that one movie that one time and unlike a girl interrupted and i used to win stuff on the radio all the time to listen to the radio those really honey yeah i'm i. I can't memorize the periodic table of elements but i can tell you all kinds of stupid movie trivia. I have a fair amount of trivial locked away in my brain to now. It's an unfortunate amount of walking dead trivia but but it makes us fun at parties there you go right all right. Speaking of the walking dead proper so there is apparently aren't we some pretty big heartburn that the rick movies are being released in theaters rather than being released on a._m._c. Apparently there are are a lot of fans out there accusing a._m._c. pulling bayton switch yeah i. I don't know how to feel about that. One hand. I totally get the bait and switch thing but on the other hand. It's going to be cool to see theaters. I'm going to pay to see in the theater yeah. I've paid for worst movies well and maybe i will you know meet new people and make a new adult friend so you you know because it statistically impossible at our age to make new friends really and no i'm just seeing our age recorded stuck in our little circle and maybe if i went to a walking dead movie i would find. It's like going to my favorite murder. Show you meet up with all lease murderer. Now is the end like it just the conversation close. It's amazing all right couple more things whisperers corner corner couple of things from forbes so paul tassie one of the reviewers that we've been following the headline of his article. This week is fear. The walking being dead is indeed renewed for season six with the same show runners and then he says much to the dismay of many fans myself included <hes> so i have to say at this point. I'm agreeing with him. I'm not super excited about andrew chambliss and ian goldberg continuing but we'll see what they have to deliver in the next half of season five see i think his i think his article about and not understanding nurses was just kind of a one off because that was eric eric kane. That's right yeah yeah. <hes> forbes also has an article up where they have pictures of thawra birch as gamma so if you're interested in seeing the new character it's worth seeking those out isn't she. Just in her mask though no they actually have her with and without the mask okay and then my last thing in and whispers corner is about the whiskey. I just thought that so there is a new whiskey out called spirits of the apocalypse. It's a kentucky bourbon an and it is available for preorder. If you go to the walking dead bourbon dot com it's thirty seven bucks for seven one hundred fifty milliliter bottle and it ships in october <hes> and it's kind of one of those big square bottles so i don't think it's going to fit in the foam roller. I have the most amazing recipe for kentucky bourbon pie. Wow yes that sounds interesting. It's walnuts chocolate michael chips and kentucky bourbon. It's amazing <hes> well. We keep pretty good whiskey on hand to make our coq au vin oh aw yeah that's a delicious french. Comfort food. That is nice in the wintertime for thirty seven bucks a bottle. I make a kentucky. The league again for thirty bucks bottle. I would make kentucky lucky bourbon pie definitely. I don't know if i would put it in my coca. Then it's kinda like the run we bought brought back from the caribbean at the first thing i did with it was a poached pears in the ram route. That's how it was. It was so delicious and served it over ice cream mm-hmm. Yeah we covet that rum not not much of a whiskey person <hes> if it's not really petey. I'm okay with it but if it's a really heavily pete influence whiskey i don't like it. I met whissy girl who can't drink brown liquor. <hes> yeah i will do a shot of jameson every now and then <hes> vodkas my drug of choice uh-huh yeah me too yep. That's the eastern european another right onto the goods bazan uglies about the meg..

"Think it was unexpected for a lot of people yeah I. It's IT'S GONNA be Weird to see a walking dead property in the theater okay either. You're going to have flap here and we'll go to a movie together or I will go to a movie together and it's probably more likely that one of your theaters up there. We'll get it but does I know there's some stuff that is doesn't come here. Surely even teeny tiny Judah would get the walking dead. I one would hope G._C._I.. I stopped carrying A._M._c. like two years ago. So all of us who still watch walking dead properties have to get them via itunes or and we can't even pay for the A._M._c. all access meriem see prime or whatever it is because G._C._i.. Won't allow us to access even A._M._C.'s website a right because you have to be a subscriber via some sort of network before you can buy A._M._C. Prime right yeah not fair so so there may not be a lot of walking dead. Fans left in Juneau so I think there are plenty yes. I'm sure there are plenty getting their a their A._M._C.. Properties via other means exactly all right next item and whispers Corner Corner Lauren ridler off was cast as Marvel's first death Superhero Latian so she is going to be in the terminals and she is starring alongside Angelina Jolie Commandment Johnny and Salma Hayek. What a great cast and props to fill? Thank you so apparently macari the character that learned office playing is actually a guy in the comic book series right. He said that that was probably gonNA cause a lot of but her. I was GONNA say heartburn but but hurt works to anyway. I'm looking forward to it. I'll go watch it definitely definitely quite a leap from a schoolteacher to suddenly being cast in the marvel movie. That's what the walking dead does to people's careers right. Phil do like to Poach Actresses Isis from the walking dead. Don't they all right next up. Gimpo says that C._R._M.. Is Not the Commonwealth K. A. We have been kind of <hes> led to believe and I've been buying in all along that they really look like they're the Commonwealth and apparently they're not well and that leads back to the whole if there is a much larger world out there and there's probably a lot of <music> groups that are like the Commonwealth or are you know like C._r._M.. In that they've managed to not only survive but thrive you know we've got helicopters and snazzy Z. matching outfits and so definitely makes me wonder who they are and if we're going to see the Commonwealth at all. I don't know maybe not okay next autumn. Jeffrey Dean Morgan told Comic Book Dot Com that there has been discussion of a knee Nagin spinoff movie. I did see this one that is so surprising. He was pretty funny. He's like they need to make it happen. Because I'm not getting any younger young Megan forever and then they talked about Austin Amelia Code reprise his role without the burn scars. Oh ooh I missed that that's kind of cool yeah yeah so we could lead into the whole saviors thing and see Austin Amelia without having four hours of makeup interesting <hes> alright alright a brief detour into the four reviews so Eric Kane Oh you did find him. Yes okay called the mid season finale for fear the walking dead predictable dateable and ordering so he said that the series has failed to offer up compelling fifth season failed the characters failed the cast and most of all failed the audience once again. I can't entirely disagree with the guy I mean. The first the reason why it's become a thing is because the first review we read with from him was so off base but you know he makes some good points. I think the the place where I really agree with him. In that series of complaints is going back to feeling like they failed the cast because they've had they have such an excellent group of actors right. Now I mean they've got internationally known actors like Ruben Blades right and they're just not serving them up good plotlines at this point right and there's no source material so there's no one to say well. It's not like it wasn't the book so this is a complete departure from the books so they could really do anything with this cast and they choose to do this. I mean this. This episode was definitely better. Don't get me wrong and we'll knock at great length about how much better it was but yeah so oh the other reviewer Paul Tassie said and so ends fear the walking dead's most baffling half season ever <hes> he called it bizarre and oddly happy I agree well and I kind of liked his description of how the writing process must have went. He said they basically through darts at the wall and built a story based on what they hit plane nuclear plant kids. You know there's actually an episode of South Park where I think like <hes> C._B._S.. That's how they're choosing their storylines in. It's I think it's it's right around win. That newspaper was the they that a drawing depicted the Prophet Muhammad and it was the episode the only episode on comedy central it has ever been censored because <hes> Matt and Trey. I put a depiction of the Prophet Muhammed the episode and Communist Center went yeah. No we're not GONNA do that. That was a French magazine. I can't remember the name of it for some reason yeah. It's a it's a name of I can't remember Charley Yeah Heart Charlie Hebdo. Yes yes so the one of the ways that they they decide how to put things in an episode. Is these like manatees or something. Bring these balls else to the surface of the tank then the balls have stuff written on them and of course that's how they come up with. The Prophet Mohammed <hes> but I I was just in envisioning that when I read this this review is you know that's that's how they come up with. Steph is just completely random. It's manatees you know playing with balls with stuff on them or throwing stuff at a dartboard or you know. Just I agree well and to the biters who are still out there with us. I'm sorry we're GonNa talk about Eric <unk> Eric Kane can't even get the guy's name right and Paul Tassie every time we do whispers corner from here on Yes yes I I completely disagree with them. Completely agree with them but I find their reviews funny and insightful nonetheless despite their reviews fear the walking dead has been renewed for season six it has that was announced by the cast at San Diego Comic con which is no surprise. I mean it's in what we were top three this week so an eighteen to forty nine year olds so I mean of course they're going to get renewed for season six. I I'm not GONNA say. I wasn't doesn't surprised no I. I'm not gonNA say that that. I didn't think that there might be a chance of them getting canceled. I did love that one thing that Eric had to say about this this whole season so far he said <hes> the whole season would have been much more interesting if it had been the re about the residents of terminus another group widely advertising sanctuary to help that they would provide strangers of course they turned out to be cannibals which is a thousand times more interesting than Morgan and his lane group of do gooders who can't even really do that. Well that would be an interesting interesting spin off the termites before they were termites. Yeah we got their backstory. We don't need it again. I'm done with terminus just saying it'd be a lot more interesting than this season and thus far thus far alright just really quickly before we talk a little bit about the fear trailer for the second half of season eight or season eight my God I must be tired season five there was a little bit of Click Bait at comic book dotcom basically saying that Austin Emilio and Lennie James say that a return to the main show for their characters is quote possible. Yes which we have discussed this before yeah. It wasn't a very substantive article. I mean I really did feel like it was just click here and I still don't see convincingly how they're going to match the timelines up again well and again. I am sure I clicked definitely click beatty but they tend to sort of have these cryptic teasers and honestly how much really at this point does the cast know about the future of anything because because I'm sure they don't get the scripts that well in advance so they're just speculating right it could happen but it probably won't maybe plot a possible but not plausible one of those okay so explain to everybody that there's two different trailers out there for fear okay so there are two different trailers out there for the walking dead one of them we saw on talking dead and then and there was one that was just released a comecon so on that I watched right so one of the trailers is four season five be like the entirety and the other episode is for season five episode nine specifically so there are two trailers. If you have only seen one you were only getting half the story. I wound up watching both I didn't watch the one just for episode nine watched the one for the general season and the only reason why I've watched both is because you kept reminding me to go watch it before we podcast it and so I was like have I really seen it like. I feel like I've seen it but I don't think I've seen it and there was one that was just-released at comic con so that's probably why a lot of people don't know that there's too out there. Yeah I mean I didn't know there were two out there so you watch the one for the entirety of season five B and you didn't watch the one specifically for episode nine correct which it's a there's a lot of the episode nine in the trailer for season five be so it's just a little more in depth for the episode. You're not really missing that much but even go watch so I will say the one thing that I really took away the couple of times that I watched it through. We see the more trees decorated like the tree that Dwight and John saw in this episode right so that makes me wonder if that's the continuation of the Sherry story line I I have mixed feelings about this so there was the whole stop looking for me. This is my last letter Blah Blah Blah and then she starts writing on trees. I don't believe it. I don't see it. I don't know I'd like to think so I mean I'd like to think that she she still leaving him clues their messages that will we'll get some sort of finality with the Sherry storyline but I don't know I just I have a feeling it's not her. I don't know they're leading us to believe that it is their leading us to believe but I don't know we had another person that was putting messages in on places with Nice handwriting. She turned out to be the filthy woman so own. You never know so some other things that we saw in the trailer. There was a callback to quote someone who helped me Morgan and I was like I I was like Oh that's eastman than I was like. No it's rick could be either. Yeah we see Dwight get some interesting pairings so he's paired with Sarah at one point and it looks like he's riding shotgun in the truck that looks fun yeah and then we see him playing chess with Salazar. Those two would be an interesting couple because dwight is the victim of torture and Salazar <music> are was a torturer so that's an interesting interaction well so the thing that I think is that they talk about white getting haircut and I actually was I think we might have seen him clean shaven at the very end of the trailer and so I'm wondering if that is the link between him and Salazar okay get see that and proudly oh go ahead. I was actually just reading <hes> like a big long wiki on Salazar's character because I can't remember when <hes> Alicia and Daniel last aside each other. I feel like it was before the ranch right like the last time was at they knew they each other was alive because they saw each other at the dam. Before it exploded but they didn't actually interact at all during that season you know I honestly don't remember the last time these other she ran up and hugged him like you know it was her long lost uncle or something thing and I'm like wait. How did they leave off the last time they talked and I can actually find where they last actually spoke I kind of went back and did a <hes> quick through season three and season four and I couldn't find anywhere we're those two actually interacted in those seasons? I I honestly don't remember so. I think it'll be interesting in season five be to see if any of that's talked about as well as a how all of our new characters are old characters interact. Because of.

"Hey everybody this is Diane. Welcome to binders and this is marginal and there are more kids in my damn apocalypse Tom yes. We have a special guest tonight Tom o'meara Hi how you doing Tom. I'm doing great. Thanks for having me yeah. I know it's awesome to have you back yet. It's been awhile. I think the last last time I did this I think was last November. Oh Gosh has it been that long yea there was towards the very beginning of the walking dead season okay and here we are with the fear premier. Yes I would ever Redo a fear of the walking dead podcast after the first couple seasons not only that but I'm guessing you probably have the highest rating for this premier <hes> I well. That's needs to be determined but I I would assume that I that I do so I'm I'm taking it. You guys didn't like the episode I liked it a lot better. When I re- watched it I will be honest and say I don't think I was in the right frame of mind the first time I tried to watch it so I am just the opposite I liked it on the I watch but it lost me on the rewatch and I have mixed feelings about it like we'll get into it but I have a lot of good stuff in a lot of bad stuff and it's all pretty minor so I still love the show? I'm you know I love the Alicia and yeah you guys know. I know my I watch was on a big screen in New York City with the heart of the cast yes there is <hes> about seven cast members. I think in Scott Kimball but <hes> yeah I watched I've actually watched it. Probably three times now was coleman. Their Coleman was there and he was in the wildest shoot. I think I've ever seen him in. He has a very interesting <music> dress sunglasses on talking dead. I hate yeah. I'll oppose oppose some pictures on the biters facebook page but he had had a pretty wild outfit on. He's like a really big presence. Yeah I mean it's just his style every everytime I seem like he's done some Walker stalkers and he always has pretty wild outfit so God blesses his style. Yeah I think so I mean I've seen him on instagram every now and then I'm like Whoa sky why if anyone can pull it off you know Strand Ken I agree. I think that that he definitely has some panache. Yes well to hear the guest why I don't you tell us what you're reading. Is I my rating. I'm sure I'm going to be the highest is four point six five chomping chomping tree head Martin what was yours mine was four point two five human coat racks. Oh man now. I'm feeling really bad while you're lower than that. Some wine was a three point five out of five human coat racks. Wow the same the same rating <hes> we think a lot of like we do that pretty often nowadays. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing we it depends on what we're thinking so diane. You said you liked it better the set. What was your rating before the second viewing oh I don't even want to think about what my reading would have been and I they have to once again? Say I just think it wasn't in a good frame of mind. I was really tired and frazzled and we had just come back from. I'm embarrassed to admit this purchasing a new TV become Jessica. What was that what's wrong with purchasing new you know it just seems so it was really a big splurge so we didn't necessarily need one but we were having issues with our main television division in the living room in terms of being able to stream stuff and I thought this is one thing that's giving me pleasure right now? I'm going to have a good T._v.. Did he up the hundred inch. No no no. We don't have room for that. We got a sixty five inch inch T._v.. So Oh wow yeah yeah and much better picture quality no problem streaming which has been really nice so you get a good sound bar. 'cause you'll need it for walking dead so we actually have have a bose sound system yeah so do I as Oh nice and of course you'll need the clear picture for season eight of game of thrones of not there yet man I yeah I don't watch it. I'm not going down that rabbit hole. It's a big rabbit hole and just to diverge a little bit say no diverge a lot tonight. The walking dead cast they are on the pot podcast network and they have a podcast called House podcast Ika where they covered game of thrones and trying to get to the point where I can start their podcast. You'll catch trump yeah I will. I invested a lot of time and energy and had already which is kind of sad. I should probably be investing time and energy and other things but like I said it's giving me pleasure so there you go. I just loved it. I peer pressure during a watching it. I don't think it was just you. I think it was kind of the general gestalt after the the finale yeah I'm still taking credit. Well do have a few numbers. I actually was able to get online tonight and find a rating for the first day of viewing so this episode of fear actually had one point nine seven million views for Sunday which put it on at the top of the cable readings and believe that can I believe how big it was. Can I believe that it was number. One all of the above I mean we're talking about fear the walking dead here the thing that we all were going to give up on right. I mean it's still about a little less than half of the numbers that we're seeing for walking dead but it's getting respectable numbers still number one number one well. The thing is last season was so incredible to me. Yeah I actually like last season of fear better than season eight of the walking dead. That's tough. I'm not sure I'm not sure I could could <hes> delineate mate. She's an eight of the one eight eight okay yeah I can see that I can see mine. Season nine of the walking dead picked it back up. Yes nine was great. I've been kind of listening to some stuff about. I listen to a a wrap up on another podcast season nine and just really thought about how much I enjoyed it. I mean I still think that episode Lara from season for fear is one of the best episodes of T._v.. T._V.. I think I've ever seen <hes> and we'll about who was behind that we will. I actually I tell like I don't know if you guys none. I haven't been on here but I become a little little friendly with Jenna Offman and so I tell her all the time that Laura Laura's the best episode of T._V.. I've seen in years. I bet she's really flattered when she hears that she's flattered all the time I mean she's just an incredibly nice person very gracious yeah yeah well. I love what she's bringing to this character and that actually we'll get into our goods VATS uglies here in a few minutes but that was actually one of the highlights of this episode for me was Jenna China absolutely don't still good so before we move out of the numbers I did just want to observe that the new series Nas Virata made need the top twenty five for cable ratings on Sunday as well. I guess what you guys out. I didn't watch it I but I don't know how much I trust those numbers yet because didn't they they put that right bumped up against fear and as I was gonna say so they did what I hate the force yes forced to watch it if you WANNA watch talking rate and we all just eat yard talking being data watched it on Monday right. That's what I did. I heard it rumor that they're not GONNA do talking dead for fear that they're only doing it for the premier and for the finale while Chris Hardwick said when I watched the other night and I then he said they're going to do the mid season finale okay so they might do. Maybe they'll do the premier the midseason the mid season premiere and then the finale how I think that's really interesting that they're not doing it for the whole series. Yeah might be might be a ratings thing yeah. I'm kind of disappointed because although I didn't pay super close attention to this episode of talking this is definitely I mean it's definitely part of my whole walking dead viewing you know I love. I love talking because you get all those behind. The Scene Wright clips and crew yeah I can only I can it only takes journalists well and they give Easter eggs that you wouldn't necessarily find elsewhere you know so about the title did you guys. I haven't anything specific about the title I mean. I thought it was pretty explanatory. I didn't know if there was a particular line that it came from Denny. Here's here's here's my lack of preparation. I have no idea what title was so funny. The title is here to help. Oh Wow I didn't even know that so we'll go with what Arnelle said Morgan must've said yeah and I I don't know was Morgan Yeah. No it was Alicia Alicia when she came upon the kids. Did she say to the kids. I think she said we're here to help. I think I'm thinking of the intro the voice over intro that Morgan and <hes> Lenny did previously seen on the talking to the walking dead yeah and that's I know he said don't worry. We're coming yeah but I thought he said here to help but no you're right on. I'm pretty sure leashes said it I mean it could have been might have been set a few times. I think <hes> Luciana may have even hinted at that when she was talking to the kid explaining what they were doing yeah but I I don't know I remember leashes saying. I don't know if everyone they may have been set a couple times. They're doing really crappy job of helping by the way they can't find anybody who wants to be helped. Yeah even said they said this is the first group that actually wanted to be found. Yeah people are dead or not wanting to be found and they didn't want to be found right now. Even the kids didn't want their help like twelve year old like no. We're good we know how great kids do in this world heads so don't don't ruin my bad now either all right. We talk doc about two kids. Trust me so just very quickly. The show runners were the writers for this episode so Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg wrote wrote this episode Manila Thought View because Andrew Chambliss worked on dollhouse quite a bit love Doghouse and then they both worked on once upon a time and I can't remember if they worked on once upon a time together or if that's just where they kind of intersected <hes> so funny how many crossover from that show and there is an interview with them about this episode at e w if people want to follow up on that. I didn't didn't really thoroughly read it but I noticed that they were. They were also on talking. I think yes they were. You're right our director was Michael. Satra Zemeckis who is known for this. Yes the original series the crow and as we were talking about he was responsible for Laura. Yes he was. He was also responsible for the growth in the walking that do you know where he started. I don't think I do he started as a grip on one of my favorite movies of all time mine too so you you read it to what Vinnie he started as a grip on my cousin vinny wow and now he's got two of the hottest T._v.'s on television Yep. He's I put him right there. A A great nicotera yeah he directs he directs all of the best fear episodes. He's still I think he's still direct some walking dead but all the best fear episodes are directed by him. He is still directing directing for walking dead because he directed guardians in season nine right so he directed one of my favorite mini series and seriously if you're a sci fi fan. Maybe not if you've not seen it. I know I've talked about it on the show before it's called the lost room <hes> and it yeah it's <hes> I thought it had the guy who plays John Dory but it just looks like the guy replaced all yeah <hes> it's such a good show it it was only I think four episodes long and it's just yeah I love that many series every time it's on sci fi I like have to watch it. I have.
