And it all started with a teacher by the name of Tanner Cross, who was suspended last month after giving a speech that has since gone viral, which he opposed the district's proposed policies on gender. He told the school board that he would not, in his words affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa. Because it's against my religion. It's lying to a child. It is abuse to a child, and it is sinning against our God. End quote. But a few days later, he was told in a letter not to come to school. Ever. Not to come onto the premises. Letter was apparently a little bit vague. It said that the school district was investigating quote allegations that you engaged in conduct that has had a disruptive impact on the operations. Of the school. Well. Since then, A judge has ordered the school board to reinstate Mr Cross, arguing that they violated his right to free speech. And since this thing has gotten Gotten lots of legs, and it's gone Viral. Now there's a 14 year old who attends this. The the school district Loudon County Public schools in Virginia, a 14 year old. We went to the school board. And Gave him a piece of her mind. The policy in in in question here, States quote students should be allowed to use the facility, meaning the restroom or locker room. That corresponds to their gender identity. This past Tuesday at school board meeting Jolene Grover. 14 Wearing a shirt that read Woman is female. Said. This quote. Two years ago. I was told that you weren't going to allow boys into the girls' locker rooms. But here you are doing just that. He said. Everyone knows a boy. Well, everyone knows what a boy is even you. She looked directly at the board members. Your proposed policies are dangerous and rooted in sexism. When what kids ask me if I'm a lesbian or a trans boy because I cut my hair short. In an interview with Fox News on Thursday, she said she was worried that a new rule would lead to girls being harassed and assaulted.
