"So there you go when when you worked on when they worked on the movie. How much of a hand did you did you guys add. That storyline wise in. Were you happy with the way it came out. Yeah i thought val kilmer should have been nominated for an oscar robbie and i were helping out ray. Had a conflict with all of array wanted to direct the movie. 'cause he went to film school but was a great kind of impressionistic painting of our career. And there's also a documentary called When you're strange the johnny depp narrated that has a little more of the sixties period in there and the two films kind of i think represent our whole career when When jim past did you what was going through your mind. Did you think your musical career was over. We're going to keep going on and doing something else. It was hard to believe I thought it was going to be an irish drunk. Who lived at eighty and You know we didn't know he had a disease and we didn't have substance abuse clinics so we didn't know what was going on but we were playing so the three of his kept playing right in our rehearsal room and we made a couple of albums after he died without him and we went. Well what what are we doing. Here are focal. Point is gone so let me ask you this one of my coolest videos that i watched back in the early nineties was when you guys got inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame and eddie vedder came out and sang with you guys To me that was cool. Because i'm a huge fan fan. I love eddie vedder and and at that point in my life i'm thinking head. He makes a a really good jim. You know and. I'm sure you guys had a lot of people step into that spot. Who was your favorite to step into that spot and and fill in for jim. When you guys play eddie vedder i mean i love the guy you know. Scott while was great. But eddie's i dunno hits pipes. He's got a baritone like jim and and i just love the guy and i. I've sat in with him on his solo shows A little little here and they are playing hand drums and It's just one of the small soulful guys walk on the planet. Yeah yeah i agree. I'm a huge fan. I love that video still own. It i have it on a vhs tapes somewhere maybe my attic but very cool to watch also to john Do you have a you have a kid. You have a child. I have grandkids. Okay so what was that like for for for your child's like does he know how cool you are or does she. I don't know if it's a boy or girl. You have a son or a daughter. I have both okay. So so do they know how cool you are. Do they care how cool you are. Do they even know how cool it was to be in the doors. Well they know that their dad has to go to the bathroom and get divorced like everyone else so you know but they know that. I'm admired by other musicians. That they respect so then they think well he's all right. I guess yeah was. Was that a thing that any of them to become a my phone's ringing. Can we cut this year. of course. Okay sorry one more rain got the sound off all right all right. No lastly you know. So so bobby likes to ask this question. That people he he interviews. And i think it's a great question but if you could pick one door song to never ever play again what would it be ten. Never ever play a game ever well. I love Texas radio and the big beat that edited the that i played the melody instead of just backbeat and that's one song we never played live and i would die. Play it so those the reverse answer. Here's the opposite of what i thought know. That was cool. You know listening to the doors. You definitely had i. I don't i feel like drummer. Sometimes they just have the easiest gigs they can sit back. Keep the rhythm but you didn't you. You're drumming was a big part of the music and that's big jazz. influence right. is that correct absolutely correct. Yeah yet the first job is to keep the beat but if you can have a conversation with the singer or the guitar player and spur them on then all the better. So what one last question. I'm sorry. I said the last one was was one more. John we're in country. Music or radio show is a country music. Show a morning show and and what i hear a lot from fans and the older fans country music is listened to new country music and saying that ain't country. Yeah it's it's a very common thing. And i remember to listen to the doors and my parents were. My parents friends saying that. Aim music did was. That was that you know when when the doors were trying to make it. Was that part of the struggle of just like none of this is music is just not what you're used to hearing. Yeah there's always a resistance to something new but you know. I mean i i have. Willie's roadhouse blues channel on my radio. And i'll hear old merle and patsy kline and john ra but i get it and you know you'll hear hear willie now playing a guitar solo and their space in that solo and that's what's so melodic and beautiful and catchy. I write about this. Technique is not everything breathing and silence in between the notes. So there's two cents. Yeah i like that. I like that with john so much for your time. Pretty good luck with the book there. You also have another book as well and that's kind of more of a biographical doors book. Is that right. Oh i have three self-centered memoirs riders on the storm. I won the doors. Unhinged and now the seekers who'll man we'll good luck. I look forward to reading all those and thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it all right. We'll see catch you zanny breakfast guys. Let's go. I'm leaving for mcdonald's five seconds. Dolly Parton says 'thanks, but no thanks' to a statue of her at the Tennessee capitol
"I will start with this. I was reading. It came out yesterday. That dolly parton asked him to stop trying to push that bill to get a statue of her up a regional message that i want to thank the tennessee legislature for their consideration of a bill to erect a statue of me on the capitol grounds. I'm honored and humbled by their intention. But i've asked the leaders of the state legislator to stop and remove the bill from any consideration given all that's going on in the world. I don't think putting me on a pedestal as appropriate at this time i hope though that somewhere down the road several years from now perhaps after i'm gone if you still feel i deserve it then. I'm certain i will stand proud in our great state capital as grateful tennessee. And in the meantime Tried to as good as i can make the state. Proud dolly parton. That's why we should put it up right now. She just furthered you. Put it up right now. And they won't get for her awesome. She's continues to be awesome. Just when you think deli can't be anymore awesome. She's even more awesome.

"And Anna. She's wearing the Cheetah elephant quarantine. I'm going to also be what tonight's lane. Yeah let's hear from any in Boston. Hey Bobby his CAITLYN's yet to go to the grand old opry when you do the shows and just a footnote for his wife. Kidney Stones Lemonade all right there. You Go The question by Kaitlyn. No nobody goes to the opera with me. So if you're new to this show I host and produce a TV show. That's called opry and because of what's happened the Grand Ole opry has had to stop with crowds. So I go every Saturday. We livestream it. We ideas on like eighty stations around the country in the circle network as well and people go up in just a couple of artists and they sit up there and they play this week shows massive by the way but No she can't go. I can't take anybody with me. They have rules about how many people can be in the building and we're all very social distance. So that's kind of an alone jobs for me. At least here I get to talk to you. And I'm far away from my cameraman my producers just in my ear. I sit on the bench by myself. I mean I'm Satterfield. We are it does feel weird. I loved the Grenelle operate. Obviously so that's why we started that show that's why produce the show more than I hosted But Yeah No. She doesn't get to go. I was reading a story by jobs though the sexiest an unsexy EST jobs for guys. What do you think the sexiest job is for a man pilot? That's what your husband does not make the list. No K firefighter. No Oh doctor. Doctors Number One because they have high income in their trustworthy now. Sorry I wasn't facing off. Income Wall sexy. I mean sure. Let's sexy about people's in some people's eyes A lawyer is it number two. Wow I just see doctors and lawyers as Yao really awesome people. I'm sure but in a lot. Okay to if you're looking for someone to be with forever. Aren't you looking for someone who is smart and can provide into and then if you're married to a lawyer? They probably win every argument. Yeah that'd be tough. A PSYCHIATRIST IS AT NUMBER THREE FOR SEXIEST JOBS. For men is that sexy. He's probably analyzing every move. I make the unsexy EST jobs for men tow truck drivers at number one because to do that job. You have to be mean and very rude. Oh I bet they're not I bet for them. It's hard sometimes. They're towing a truck or car. They're probably like Oh man hates it at the do this. I hated I hated. I hate it but it's job. Yeah I don't know I don't think you'd keep doing it if you hate it that much. Oh well hey if you got to. The bills. Trash collector is at number two. Because it's smelly and TV producer is unsexy because of the odd hours so if the sexiest job for for a woman a doctor would be up. That'd be a good one I but I put that for me too. I think just a doctor so trustworthy and smart and you know me. I Love Smart Radio Persons on on there though. It just missed it. It was just missed it. We're in the middle of our forced movie reviews. We all drew. Somebody's name gets recommended. Movie for them. And Morgan. Watch steel magnolias. As was forced on her amy and gave it four and a half out of five showbiz. Shelby's you really enjoyed that movie Yeah I was really besides making me cry yes I really liked it. We pulled up all the rotten tomatoes from all these movies to see who got the best end of the deal and Black Panther was ninety. Seven percent positive lunchbox. Watching mine was the worst by far is making me watch box of moonlight. That is the only one in the sixties. Everybody else was seventies eighties or nineties sixties. Ain't bad sixty one percent his mind so I have to start tonight. I guess I'm going to watch like twenty minutes of it but lunchbox did watch Black Panther sent to him by Morgan Number. Two okay. Let's you're forced review of Black Panther. Yeah so going in. I was really excited because there was so much hype behind this movie. Everybody talks about how great it is and I'll be honest with you. It was awful boring like there wasn't much action for a like a like a Comic Book Action Movie. The supposed to be a lot of fighting and there was not very much I was just like okay can we get to some fighting images storyline. Okay Boring Boring. I didn't really think it was that good. I thought it was way overrated way over hyped and maybe that was the problem. Maybe I was just expecting excellent things because everybody talked about how so it was so great. And you're gonNA love it and you're GonNa be amazed and I was just like man. This is not that good. Are you sure you didn't Watch Pink Panther? Pretty sure I watched it. Okay what are you? What are you ready to give it two and a half out of five? Wow listen I saw bypass I loved it. Did you now my kids. Did they love De Movie? Mike is podcast movies. What'd you think of Black Panther? I mean that's one of the best marvel movies. Great box of being a contrarian here big one hundred percent okay. Well it's his review. His force review is two and a half. What kind is five yes okay? Ninety seven percent positive Moroccan tomatoes. I guess I guess I'm a three percent right. They're not it's not. It's everybody's Cup of tea but do you like the superhero movies. I like some of them like I liked ironman because I felt like iron man was a lot of action. The whole time fights fights craziness. This was just I was just. I wasn't my cup of tea. I can't ruin it. There's things that I want to say but I don't want to ruin it for people that I'm just like okay. That's just What else have you seen other than Ironman? I've Seen Batman. Okay Not Marvel okay. That's it all you haven't so you haven't seen any of the series though. I'm seeing any of them so I'm just jumping into this one and I was just like okay cool but that's okay as long as you know. Jump into avengers like that. I think I haven't seen avengers and I at one point. I even called Morgan number. Two and I was like am. I supposed to die miss something from another show because I don't know what's happening right here. And she was like just watching. Explain it and it did explain it but I thought I'd missed it from one of the other movies Morgan. How you feel about him. Hating Black Panther hurts my heart a lot but I can't hate him for his own opinion but Black Panther is a fantastic movie. I mean he's just wrong. It's also really good. Okay Next up amy has to watch parasite Eddie has to watch eight mile and I have to read the cliff notes of box of moonlight. You got to watch the whole movie. Come on okay come on. I mean I don't worry mine. I have to watch great. I've seen parasite I know the subtitles or mugging you. You'll forget about it. You're just going with the bad attitude and your rating is ninety. Nine percent amy come on like that and Black Panther two of the highest rated movies and all of rotten tomatoes and I had to read subtitles a mind. So it's the same thing. Amy Subtitles on Black Panther. Yes occasionally okay. This is a different language. I I do get used to the subtitles on Marcos Mexico so I guess I could get used to the ones on this okay. Well Good luck until the end of the week defenders these movies they say the hand sanitizer. Lysol wife's all those. They won't return to normal until August at least and they are producing the stuff so fast they still can't meet the demand even with toilet paper. It could be early next year to win. The shelves are back and they're full of toilet paper. We can get someone we need it. So are you able to get toilet paper right now? We ordered some a couple. I found some not so long ago but then I needed to drop it off at my dad's he said he needed and I was like well shoot so then we ordered some and we knew it might take a while so we just were patient and I think about four weeks later it showed up A. Wow that's the delay four weeks. We're pretty good. I have So step I was doing with continental so I have some some toilet paper. I watch boxing to win the cotton out we ordered from Cotton L. Bobby got with continental in order to in my husband said No. You don't remember about a month ago. We order that crazy. It takes that long. Yeah took so long. I forgot we ordered. It couldn't find any anywhere and he hit me up so I sent him a big old bag of it. But we're doing that Sheriff Square Campaign for Charity Instagram. If you want to see that Mr Bobby bones so I saw that story and then I saw Chicago's public health director said they thinking about going to a swimming pool. Not a great idea during the crisis. Because there's something called fecal shedding here. We go to the practice of obviously being in a swimming pool. Unfortunately we do know that. There's some fecal shedding corona virus. If I can go ahead and share that and so as well as associated with pools would have locker rooms with which people would need to change. So you would have more people congregated in the same setting your thoughts. I've never heard fecal shedding before. Beagle shutters. I don't ever want to hear it again. But if you're thinking about going to pools now I get it. That's a huge. Were my kids. We love taking them to the community pool in the summer. They.

"Of a sermon so loved that speaking of that you have an Air Force magazine because your husband was in the Air Force Academy he served in the Air Force and they send out a magazine that is what basically well it's for Air Force Academy Alumni and it's called checkpoints and anytime it comes in the mail. My husband reads it cover to cover. And we've been getting it since as long as we've married because he graduated before we got married. It is the header of this. Tell me something. Good is what they wrote on there. Yeah so at the if you open it up again like I said he reads it cover to cover and they're a retired. Colonel named Cathy C. Mclean class of Nineteen eighty-two wrote an article called tell me something good and the first line in the article is I. Enjoy listening to the bobby bones. Show morning radio program while commuting. Five after every hour is when that happens. I WANNA play some John Party. He posted a picture on his instagram story. And he put on some glasses like I wear because he wears glasses and he goes. Hey Bobby I never wear these and take my cowboy hat off but he looked just like you see the picture just like me. Yeah I agree I was. I thought he was making fun of posting a picture of me but John Party about the cowboy hat and glasses like I have looks like me so I thought that was pretty funny rough morning. Gorny where do you take someone who has been injured in a peekaboo accident or do you take someone who's been injured in a peekaboo accident the ICU warning hey? I saw this story beginning to jokes a six year. Old Kid name Kalugin mcglaughlin set up a free joke. Stand at the end of his driveway where he tells jokes to people who walk by just to lift their spirits. He says sixteen or seventeen jokes. He feels they're all pretty strong. Here's a clip of a few of his best jokes that if you walk by he'll hit you with red white and blue sad candy cane please black white and red a penguin. That's embarrassed with the parents. Favorite lighter and thinking have any bad jokes but my sister is like awful ones. There you go. He knows about as many as you do sixteen or seventeen. We've done this for about two years. We've heard about sixteen or seventeen. What are you GONNA say? Is cuter coming from him. I agree with that. Not you're not but one of the big stories yesterday and Country Music was that the ACM's are going to be in Nashville for the first time ever and I think if you were just hearing that on the surface or if you're not super inside that doesn't mean anything to you because who most people don't know the difference when the ACM's and the CMA's honestly. I think I do because I'm on boards and I present on these shows but for the most part people like wait. It hasn't always been in Nashville. It hasn't so the Siyam as which happened in November are always in Nashville the. Acm's are usually in Las Vegas and that office is in California so because of what happened this year. They weren't able to have it. They moved September and now for the first time. It's going to be in Nashville so I don't know that that's a big story too. Many folks except real industry people but the real cool story is is that it's going to be in three different places this year. They're going to do the show and I'm not sure how they're going to pull it off yet. But in September they're going to do the show at the Opera House where they have the Grand Ole opry at the Reimann Auditorium which is a music venue that used to house the opry way back in the day and still does occasionally and the Bluebird cafe which is a small place where riders go and play so that is the real headline here not that it moved to Nashville. Because I don't think most people know the difference. I wouldn't if I wasn't super involved in in the weeds but they're gonNA do the show from three different places which I think is pretty cool. Well Yeah Well. You know the difference between each venue because you've played all three. So what is the cool factor of them bouncing to each location? Like what do you think could be special about it? Being played there. I wonder if the opera houses can actually have some of the Grand Ole opry stuff. Now I've played the opry show performed at the grand elaborate probably fourteen times or so and why that's awesome is because it's the Grand Ole opry. Its longest running show. The radio show has been around forever. We're still doing the operate on Saturday nights and I'm hosting it and helping produce the TV version of that so that's cool because it's his nostalgia from the Grand Opera and that one will be at theatre about four thousand people okay. The Reimann is a music venue which was built in eighteen hundreds and it's been around forever It's worth the opera actually started before moved and that is really cool because of the history that the venue holds. I usually play a show a year there. it's an pews old pews and then the bluebird is tiny tiny. It's the smallest of the mall. You can fit about sixty people in there and when you play in there you're it's very vulnerable because people are sitting right on top of you and I'm I'm betting on the show they're gonNA have people sitting around playing their Song Super Acoustic. Because that's been you of all of them. I like plan the operate the best because of the history there the rhyme and is probably the most fun because I play like hour long shows and the Bluebird is man. It's it's the hardest to play oddly. But it'll be interesting September back hopefully. That's the goal indulge me for a second and tell you the story came. You can't so what I do get on this Peleton bike and I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy exercise but I try to exercise almost every day but I get on this bike and it is for thirty minutes awful because I don't let up. I just get on and go as hard as I can for thirty minutes and I'm going pretty good stretch before and some rock in it and I'm on pace to beat my personal record of has almost two years and I can feel that I'm on pace to be my personal record so I'm like okay. Let me just right so I get down to the last minute and I'm like time to turn IT I. I've already been just rocking and I'm out of breath. My legs are hurting but I can. I can take it. I'm trying to get like four seventy five for thirty minutes and so I finally hit over my pace and I'm like just keep up. Got Fifteen seconds left and then I go now. Newnan to not in my leg and my stomach and I'm grinding so hard on these. I'm just going standing up going as hard as I can. I think goes and I don't think anything of it and I'm exhausted. I'm sweating all over everything and I get off and you have to bike and a dry off and a walk over to the bathroom. I'm like I might as well and I started peeing blood y. Yeah so I'm peeing blood and I'm like Oh my goodness am I dying and then I think back. I think I heard something. Click as I was pedaling really hard. So there's blood everywhere because once started to see blood Kamata kind of reacted we're jerked so there's blood all over the toilet. I never had before. So I'm like holy crap so I cleaned it up and I don't know if I should tell Caitlyn and I can I know she's GonNa Freak Out I have a doctor's email so I'm like oh great. What do I do so I- Google it what happened. What's it mean when you don't do that by the way because it's going to give you the pyramid of the worst things I and so I'm like oh great more nervous and like let me just be again? If there's no blood this time it's probably just disarm fluke like blood flew p again later more blood so I had my doctor up and goes what explain what happened. Now's GonNa bike and he goes. Oh he goes yeah. That's not good. He said but you have a he. Matura he materia he materia something like that and I was like what does that he goes well. It's trauma inside your body and it happens to marathon runners when they run too hard and don't take breaks and it's like how can you been riding this bike? I was like Oh over last thirty days. And they got done twenty eight days on in two days off and he goes hardest every time he goes. Okay well you hurt yourself. You've injured your Oregon's because my guy when you get on you go to hard. He goes do you ever just take breaks and don't take. There's no breaks when I decided to do something I go. It goes wild and you probably shouldn't do that. He goes. You need to give yourself forty eight hours of doing nothing. And then if you're still bleeding then we have a bigger issue like you have some serious damage in there. And so that's what I have and I was so proud of myself that I injured myself from work and like I was working hard. I was working so hard. I entered an organ. How about that baby? Come on. Yeah I didn't even know that that was possible. In cases where there is no trauma exercise induced he mature usually resolves within around seventy two hours. After the athletic event knows I love athletic. Event was just you and your room trying to break a record by yourself. Yeah listen I compete. Even if it's myself and I did I one that's right. I may have injured all my organs. But you know who won me beat me? Well either way pinball. Yesterday it was crazy to see my two of my biggest injuries when I was training to do a triathlon. That's when I got my him Royd. Remember that Yeah. There were like Yeah you're bleeding out of your butt and I was like. Oh No dying or have you been running a lot of the training for a tribal and they go okay. Well this is what happens to runners whenever they trained too much. So I've been put on probation. Kahlon won't let me get on. The bikes took one of the pedals. Off So yeah she didn't. Yeah yeah there's because she knows all get on it when she goes to work. I'll get on the bike. That's hilarious. Okay well man. That's that's not right. Thought you were going whenever you said you heard pop. I thought your you hurt your but again. Oh Yeah I did hear my head a anal. What's it called tear you? Yeah it was a I I'm sure there's a fancier name for that like I played high school. Football and played apply did a lot of stuff. I never got injured but me riding a bike or like taking a jog is how I get hurt. That was my day yesterday though. Oh okay well so we have to monitor it. You have what another day to make. Sure you're good. Yeah and Caitlyn. Oh so worried. She was googling stuff all night and I was like He. Don't worry I've no no blood him opinion. Okay well I'M GONNA I'm GonNa need to see because I did. I wanted to worry. There's still a little but now I think she wants to paycheck me. Yeah you bobby you need to stay on it. I feel like this one of those weird things where people want to buy my no but you know.

It's Mike if you play club at this bag you broke up with me. Went Double Platinum here. So what does that mean when it goes double platinum Walker well This isn't a trivia question. I'm asking because I'm genuinely wondering is a two million though it you know. Nowadays obviously streams count as a sale. But you know I mean my my song has been you know. I've sold two million now You know copies of that song which is man you know. You know the journey I've been on I if it really well you've had a front row seat to it and It's just crazy it's honestly a miracle it's it's it's unbelievable that I got that call you know on Friday and and now now I don't when I when I stand up I'm like hey it just went platinum now. I can say this is a multi platinum records. Well that's what we take the Trivia show Thursday night and I was supposed to break that too but I couldn't believe you've got eliminated so early honestly I gave you such a softball that I didn't have it ready. So this is your two times platinum plaque right here. I have it in my hand here. This says Walker as you broke up with me. Certified two times platinum. I was supposed to come from me but it wasn't because I'm a dope and so my apologies didn't so why have a plaque? You will never get. We're corona in. So you'll never get it but I haven't. I know it if you if you mail in my wife's GonNa make me let it sit outside. Do that really means the world coming from you. I hope I hope you know that Owner off this show. I I truly mean that Appreciate all you did for that song and just those eight tracks in general man. What a what a set up that song had and it lives on Viva Viva La. You broke up with me Vivo. Walker Hayes is what I say okay. We'll check it out. Check out the new song. We've got a lot to do here. So checkout trash my heart and also go in and search him up listen to all of it and listen to it nonstop when you leave the house. Just push play and put push repeat. Even if you're not listening build those dreams. That's what I say all right Yup Walker. Good to talk to you my friend back above show. This story comes from Elkhart County Indiana. A twenty five year old man was going one hundred and twenty miles an hour on the highway when police pull up next to him and say pull over pull over. He thought they were getting hand motions. Let's race so he kept going. Oh Wow Hey. Let him on a twenty five mile chase until he pulled over and got arrested. Wait so I would assume there was alcohol involved. There had to be right. No he really there. They said he was charged with reckless driving and several moving violations but no alcohol involved. He really thought they wanted to race. Wow what don't you have to be drunk to think that though is my question. Wow I would. I have a lean on drunk. I would all right. Is that it. I'm much. That's your boneheads story. Today it's time for the good news. Johnny Morris is the founder bass pro shops and he's decided to donate one million. Fda approved face Matt's for first responders or anyone in the healthcare. That needs these face masks. I guess it's a thing right. Now that people are more facemask stepping up to do that and basically if there's an bass pro shop or Kabila's in your town. Those masks are going to those cities. Wow Hey listen we are a bass pro shop show also Eddie goes. I guess it's a thing now like the whole new like every single story on the news for the past. Two months hasn't been that. Healthcare workers need mass. Apparently there's some virus running around. I saw the tweet yesterday. Well Shoutout Bass Pro Cabela's that's awesome. Obviously we love them But making a difference. Everybody's making a difference. I love it. That's what it's all about. That was tell me something. Good every hour. We bring positively. It's called tell me something good. We've we've done it for fifteen years. I remember when we came up with this segment. Everybody Kinda told us as a dump segment we used to it at five and six o'clock in the morning only remember way back in the day. Yeah if it's definitely early early and what happened was we started doing this segment and we have something radio called research and they started testing the segment and it was like our highest testing segments. So we started doing it more because we love doing the segment. Anyway we love positively and finding a good way to look at things and so then other radio show started doing it the next thing you know. It's all over the country. Were super proud of that. And it's really become something where known for and that song is a real song that Chaka Khan tale something good it's like Rufus and Chaka Khan on the radio. I'll be at the grocery store I know here. Don't get down the down. And I'm like all that so weird but we've become known for this after fifteen years and I love it. And there's a pastor at Trinity Church in Oklahoma. His name is Brian Mills. He's a senior pastor there and he referenced in his sermon. This last Sunday ago. Now I want to give you a little update. Can I give update? Y'All y'all fired up. We gotta get a little update term. Something good is bobby bones. That's off Bobby bojars countryman. You don't listen to country. You know bobby he's from Arkansas. Something good anyways. And that's like I feel like he started rambling because he was looking on the crowd and maybe nobody knew who. He's talking about crowd. If you remember there's no it's just sitting keys and so there's the wasn't getting any bag. Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah. Yeah that makes sense. I feel like I. I'm watching Church online too and I feel like my pastors. Have something similar where they don't know if what they said is it's resonating the way they thought it. Would they awkwardly keep talking well Bryan Mills? Two four seven is his name. Brian Mills. Twenty four seven Just want to say thanks to him for for what he's doing and keeping everybody spirits up and throwing us a shout out there in the middle.

"Let's go welcome to Tuesday's show Amy Good Morning Good Morning. How are you pretty good? I was thinking about you. I know you're home. Schooling your kids. When is that over May Fifteenth? Are you looking forward to that day? The final day. It's fourteen days away. You know exactly. It's a one six minutes I mean fourteen actual school days not fourteen total days. Do you have something you have to accomplish before that or do you. Just keep them learning. We just keep them learning stuff. That's do every day so we'll just stay on the curriculum until the final day on the fifteenth. And then I guess it's summer and then we had planned. Our kids are always have some sort of well not always we've had them for two summers But being that we adopted from Haiti and they're behind in their education in the summertime. We still have them enrolled in certain things and now. I don't know what we're GONNA do this summer because I don't know what the options are going to be. Are you ready though for school to be over? E Yeah Break. They are too yeah. They'll get a little break but we can't have too much of a break in learning at all so we've already prepped them for that like you. Just get ready. You're still going to have to keep learning but they're fine with it. I think that's what everybody has to do. So we're good. Well glad everybody's here with us. We hope that we feel like your friends. And hopefully we bring a little normalcy to you. That's kind of the goal here Kayla girlfriend made some she such a cook and she likes to try out and try to make things and I love Pepper Cini peppers. You're not a pepper. Chini is yeah. They're so good. Yeah it's the green win. It's like it all of garden where you get your soup and salad they. It's the few they put on the top and sometimes I'll go. Let me get extra pepper Chinese. She knows I love him so she made this thing where she can show cut them in half and she fills them with stuff had never had a pair of jeans and they're so good and she's been making in the last couple of nights maybe a play both nights so that was a bro. Highlight of my evening last night That and I know she should make these videos and put them up on instagram. But she's she thinks that nobody will care if she makes a cooking video and like people love cooking video especially if it's easy to make stuff right yeah for sure. Yeah then we watch another episode of the Michael Jordan the Bulls documentary. Have you watched any of that? I haven't yet but I'm my husband. Has He really likes it? Yeah it's great especially if you love the NBA or Sports Caitlyn's a humongous NBA Fan. So did that got a couple of voicemails. I walked in to see a couple of these. This first one is from holly an Indiana here. You go I listen to you every day on the podcast and I love it But I had a question for you guys so I am moving out what to Wyoming Here in a couple of weeks and I'm so excited and I have a new job and the job will require me to get super early in the morning. I was wondering if you start that it would be a good idea to practice getting up earlier before I would go out there I love to hear your opinions. Thanks so much bye. That's a great question and you know I've been dealing with waking up early for the last twenty years of my life. Almost I mean I started doing mornings when I was twenty two twenty three forty now and I'm not a morning person by the time you hear me. I'm still a little grumpy and I'm still appealing it off. It takes me about an hour to really get so. I'm someone to talk to was like how do I? How do I adjust? The key isn't waking isn't waking up early. It's going to bed early. That's what you should practice doing because you'll have to wake up regardless by going to bed early. Is We have to train yourself to do. That's been the best part of of my ability to do a morning show or to come on the here and be somewhat compelling or have energy. It's getting enough sleep so I would say just practice going to bed at eight or nine o'clock whatever your schedule is going to be. We think yeah you kind of have to get used to your social life being different than everybody else's too. That was whenever I started doing mornings with Bobby. That was the number one thing my none of my friends. None of my family. Nobody was on my schedule so it was really difficult because I still wanted to do things with them when they got off work or whatever but eventually that gets old because then you're tired in the morning and you just have to start making lunch dates with people if you can or early early dinner dates or something and then that'll that'll result in you feeling better in the morning. I'm not a morning person so I say this to you. Just go to bed earlier. You'll be so much happier in the long run with it. Let's do one more voicemail from Kelley. Here you go. Hey Bobby Lamie. Forty Studio I just wanted to you bless you know that I had just finished bare bones and I had a question You mentioned in their your friend Courtney and I was just wondering if we're still friends in contact also. I wanted to let you know that will. My son is a very big advocate for washing his hand and he sings her song all the time. Anyway let her song love the show. Keep redoing thank you Kelly his Kelly and Colorado Springs. Yeah my first book is called Barebones about my life and my best friend in the book in now. His name's Courtney. We don't talk as much as we used to. He's got two kids now. He's had a second baby but yeah we met in college basically picked on me and made fun of me. Because I couldn't afford a jacket. I was to wear my high school jacket. And he was like we're high school letterman jackets to college and I was like you're such a loser and then we became best friends but yeah I mean listen. If you needed a kidney you could call me. But we don't talk every day as much. Yeah but he's still wondering restaurants are then he always we'll be even if we don't talk for for years and years and years but yes. Brian Kaitlan my girlfriend up to the studio real quick as I work from my house. I guess she's every time she laughs. There does anything we face. She holds it because it hurts her so bad but this is what aimee went through last week. You guys are sharing beauty products and burning your faces off. I don't know what we're up to on both sides amy who. I work with every day for hours. Kaelin who I'm living with it. It's always somebody's faces hurting. So what are we going to do about this? Well it'll be show. I'm back to normal already. Well actually a younger looking normal. My young my face doesn't I? I don't have to grab it if I laugh or cry or I don't scream in pain of toothpaste gets on my chin. Okay so what are you guys putting on your face. It's hurting you so bad. It's it's an at home peel. So it's this it's called radical night repair and really you're just supposed to use it once or twice a week night but no no no. That's typically what it's made for but my face girl she like a lot of people can't come in and maybe get appeal if they wanna get a treatment so they they discovered a way. Where if you just do this once or twice a week cream five days a week morning night. My goodness yeah. That's why I heard so bad. Little Mix what did you do? What did he do high got a little? I got details a little flip flop doing i. I wasn't so started yet and I was using these other products that she gave me and I wasn't supposed to make some but I thought I was so that's why mine is like acid Told me it felt like I took a razor nick myself and then Portland juice on it. And I'm I'm dealing with both of you guys. It's like I got amy for a few days now. You but here's what happened to your face. Girl was talking to Caitlyn and is she was asking her how she washes her face. What'd you tell her? No you don't WanNa say they'll never say what was different but I just. Sometimes I wash my face in the shower with shampoo. If I'm not look I know amy. It's terrible but none of them like in my hair start starts getting a little in that kind of like let it roll down in front of him and that's what you used to wash your makeup off not all the time okay. Wow caitlyn is just as a sewer rat. Be Open disgusting sewer rat. No I'm actually was thinking like you're you're blessed like you have beautiful skin and you wash it with shampoo like if that's how. I were to wash my face my face to be old and dry and crusty. I just want everybody listening to this to know that it's been a struggle week or so. Get Amy for a few days but Kaelin is going to be better soon right. Yeah once you get over the Hump. I would say day five day. Four or five. You're like Oh I hate my life day six..

"Okay what were you gonNa tell me when we came in your like I have to be o- on okay so like it was super world when when I met you last knocking allies is kind of going from interview to interview. Had had no idea who you were like walking in and you drank wine remember and we played and had no idea like your popularity clarity like literally. It was like. Oh this is nice I like. She's an upstart podcast. You know lie always meet somebody it found me from you like their reach is ridiculous. Yeah Not GonNa lie like so many people I love. I'm so interested where people family because it's so random. Yeah because my stuff one song has hit on the radio in the rest not so much. So it's kind of like this underground thing that happens but yeah I mean you're way up there on the top like so. Many people say they heard me from your podcasts. It almost ties was like the highway. The High A. Lot of the highway loves on me really well like it is so random but so so many people will be like that's Z.. Beloved that podcast people really. Because you've got such a cool story as well as like where you know like the the whole like how you worked at Costco to like gone. You have six kids you've been with girls high school like it's just a really cool story story till you killed it. Yeah we still. I mean a lot of lifelong fans from that so that makes me happy. I really appreciate is the the fact that you still were willing to come on this podcast thinking it was just do honestly I was around. Yeah one after you know I mean honestly. I had just come from from working at Costco so I was like. Hey y'all just tell me what to do and I'm going to do my best ray. And so that's that's how I did that. PODCAST and yeah again I some not an and I guess just where I am in life. I really just don't know really what's going on. Who's who's what and stuff I saw you at my ex's JIM basket? I'm GonNa give him a hard time. I'm totally joking or your buddies. You know are you really no no not at all good though I hold space for him. It doesn't matter okay at the end of the day. He's doing his thing and I'm doing mine and it's so you don't think I was cheating on about working out with him. I I was like I wanNA message and be like go there. Not just kidding I I'm I'm kind of gains no. Don't be sorry you're allowed to work you. Oh no there are still many mutual friends in our lives that I would do. I would never in my life Actually get mad at yeah. Glad you're just you're so candid handed about it. I appreciate that. Yeah I mean it's everybody kind of is so everybody knows me because of my relationship with him from the show so I can't just leave people in the dark after after we break up and pretend everything was just so you know and I hate those Which I did one of those break-up announcements like we both respect each other and blah blah? Oh Blah I hated that because I wanted to just you know it's the right thing to do but I'm like God that's not me. I want to be like well. Here's what happened uh-huh and it's my fault too and it's his fault. Saline this is what happened and we are not on good terms. But that's okay. Yeah how does you should have done that. I know I look back at it now and think I really should have because it just you could tell that that message did not come to us like as a couple it was very like it's basically like we've copy and pasted everyone. Who Do we think we are that we need to announce our break up to the world like warm people wanted to know? Yeah people people do feel like honestly I don't again. I'm thoroughly educated on you and your life but I feel like most people where they appreciate about. You is the not curated version view. I've never been that way ever will be that way but yeah it's it's just such a weird when you when there's another person involved because as much as you could be angry or or upset you still have to respect their privacy and their life and you know they still have to go on and live their life and I even though you didn't want to. Yeah I mean I won't get into you know what we will get into the confessions because we were sorry. What is your name again? We're as so she was saying. Oh you gotta tell this one this one would blow. Yes you've got a lot. I mean I'll just do dumb. Things often perfect year. My guest on a podcast mean and I'm not you know I was telling you earlier. I don't is not I don't feel embarrassed mbare. I'm just Kinda like sucks me you know. I don't get embarrassed as I mean. They're always funny. You know stories stories that she was reminded me. I mean did it's been I mean especially with Laney involved. I mean lenient were. I'm not proud of this story but you know in highschool mobiles is a the when I grew up. There's lot of underage drinking going on. That was a big thing is almost like a sad. Add epidemic there in that town and we were a part of it. And you know we're laying lenient our busted in the basement the head by her dad one night and he he grabbed my naked body. No from the bed and threw me in the garage which which didn't have a door and it was super cold outside so I'm literally naked naked seventeen again. I hate like I my kids know the story like I try to prepare them for life and this is like one of those mistakes are made. I look back and I'm like please don't let this happen to you you right. I'm not sure if my parents know about this story but yeah that was embarrassing to say the least yeah. He threw me outside. You gave her like a really long lecture while you were about about Not Getting pregnant and stuff like that. I'm just standing outside a little a bit intoxicated. And then she gave me a ride home and got closed back in the garage for a long time but again I was a little bit. You know right drunk so tom was like really matter. I was just oh my I I think I on my list was like am. I going to like should've walked home. Like what is he coming back out like. Are the cops coming right now. I was just Kinda like what okay. Okay so what was it a bad decision. Yeah how how does it get better in the future. Like Joel Hide in the bushes like I had no knock back like hey forgotten I know and we laugh. They were actually here in town a This weekend and it's rare that we were together in. That story doesn't come up. I mean her. My brother-in-law and Laney sister they I'd love to bring that up but but it's not awkward and again mock now all my kids know you know we're trying to be very open with with him but again I mean that's just that's just one of a bill I mean and again I don't know if embarrassment like yeah it's funny it's funny now. Yeah and I'm not even embarrassed when people bring it up. What about the time? He pooped your pants so that oddly enough oddly enough this this this this was same day. This was one of those that I was just like. It just happened. The funny part of this story to me is the context. It like the first record label I ever had was. We'll capitol records. This was about nine years ago. Maybe ten and I loved loved kind of being courted by a label. Like you do you go from having this like penny pinching life to say goodbye to Laney and she'd be like what are you doing today a day and I'm like they're taking me to. PF changs lunch. You know and I would be so excited to. PF chains the label head in our person. We're GonNa talk about me and my record and my future was one of those days and so they picked me up. Pf changs that got you. Yes okay go anywhere eh of the Mongolian be as happy. No but I've heard Oh man worry so we go. I'll tear it up. I'm among Golian beef guy like that's always one of the the two that I get tore it up. It's not on my dime. I mean I'm lettuce. Wrap in it. I think we even did desert. Yeah and this is non ten in years ago so I'm in some like not white jeans almost half wiler boots and style love trying to look cool. Who in any way? They dropped me back off. And I see Omar floorboard. I'm like oh as a Taylor swift album in this in this piece of of crap. Carbon Eileen over the line up but they dropped me off and on like literally early waving so good to see you and lean over to pick up this Taylor Room. That was it I was I thought trusted happened. And and and as soon as I lean over I was like. Oh Oh my goodness and and it wasn't just like a little bit like it was a. It was a good portion Russian and so I couldn't sit back down and I live forty minutes. Oh so I had to ride. He's the Taylor. Delve him no Yeah well I I forgot about that. I just I started driving home and I had to like prompt myself up in my legs got tired. It was like a wall the whole way home the road home and no joke. When I got home my inlaws had just gotten into and so I got to the door and they were? They wanted to hug and I was like y'all just I gotta go take a shower and I was like. Oh yeah total like this happen and they get a kick like I think they appreciate appreciate my kind of what I bring to the family that we did. I do that. That happens. And it's like a happened. Yeah you know and it kind brings it out in them like that's the thing about when you tell a story like that. Somebody's always going to go up. Who My parents to and they have the same story so that one of the girls who has been on my podcast told her and she called me the next day to take it off the podcast and I said listen? You're going to get so much support people who relate to your story from this. I promise you if you don't get twenty messages. Like all do something. And she was like the next day. She's he's like. Oh my gosh everyone. It was so funny she was like I've made friends like long lifetime through my story. It does no it happens again. I tell it like you know when my kids were getting older and they would have an accident it always. Oh I'd be like dude. I did that a few years ago by chill out..

"To his your concessions and you have to say about anything bachelor. Let's shake it up two more years. Caitlyn my guest today. Is someone who I've had the pleasure of see you in the past. We found out two years ago. Two years really thought it was a year but it's definitely time for us to catch up because we said a year two years ago. We said you need to come on in a year. Talk about everything that you've done so now you must have a lot of built up information for two years. I'm ready to vomit all. That's Hafner of the past thirty years. So you're a singer songwriter. Originally from Alabama you've toured with artists including Kelsey Ballerini Dannon shade. Thomas Rhett Old Dominion many more. Those are huge. Don't get your huge so there you go. That voice is Walker Hayes and this year you are set out to headline very own tour. Right called Veronica. What we did art are we did we did it? Fairs and festivals. Yeah we're cruising right now right now. We're doing nothing. I don't even know we just released. A new track called black sheep. So that's kind of high on the priority list. As far as like things. I need to sell your listeners about it and so I do. The first thing that started my whole career was music. We gave away for free on these things. Call eight tracks and the first one's called good shit in the second second one was called break the Internet and they did well one reason they did well is because they were free and people music circulated and honestly that's still the the music that fans know the most die hard fans love the tracks more than albums really and yeah in so I couldn't wait to put another one of those out so we justed. I did one call black sheep and it's just it's a it's such a great. I mean I'm so proud of the project. It's it's the tracks are songs about my kids. they're about struggles with alcoholism there about anything that's real life so going into a writer's room no rules production wise. They're just crazy easy and they're not fixed not a huge fan of Polish. Like I don't really love making albums. I don't love the commercial radio. Saad that much so so perfect that it's almost boring Ademi and so yeah. These eight tracks are a great way for me to just get sloppy. I like it though because because I feel like that's a true artist I always love Nirvana for that like I always loved that Kurt cobain would sing like whatever if he hit a note that Offi just raw and I feel like that's true a true artist's Ya know and that's why these things these tracks are making in our bedroom so yeah so sometimes you can literally hear like some movie. My kids are watching next door. They're screaming fighting in there. You can just kinda hear it in the. Oh that's awesome. This was super neat so lucky I get to do and what is tell me about black sheep. A black sheep is I just going to be honest. I Love Urban Music Bike. When Old Town road came out I was a little jealous? I was like I dad. I want to do that and so so honestly walking around the House one day I just started going black. Sheep like Chevy Mobile. You wasn't ready and nozzles like I don't care I was like I feel so good and I want base. Yeah and growing up my wife she would love to make fun of me but when when I was growing up my favorite thing in the world was just base I just love. I wanted like more speakers in my car money. I didn't have on Bass Ace. I had a problem like I was that guy and I wanna see how loud I can make you go nowhere to go you just doing loser laps around anywhere just to hear the exactly the drive to the mall just to get in the lot be loud and then get my car and be loud again drive away and I was that kid I just loved it and I listened liked to live crew and kilo and just all kinds of like any anything. We'll be I even bought like if you've ever seen CDs in a in a store whereas I bob ace or King of Bait like I was the guy I was the white guy. I bought those CDs. I mean multiple. Tom's as a teenager I would just park my car in like a lot and walk and see how far you could still hear my car and I was like very passionate about i. I love base feels but yeah we man. That's what that's what the song like she was about. I did date Laney High School and I remember she liked it to remember. We had golf balls in my center console when the base hit in a certain song they would just start art spinning shook the whole car and she would be like. Oh Wow hours like like. I'm impressing her game. Face I I set up in the car. See what's up. I'm working. Yeah we we just had. We have fun. I'd be like look at the rear view shaking. You know and I know it sounds funny. But that's like that was my. I didn't like loved mud. Rod Hunt I was like I wanted. I wanted a truck doc specifically I wanted to. Suv Yeah so you could just fill up the back woods speakers this a small town that you was mobile. Genus is a lot smaller than Nashville a lot. You know not not to like knock mobile but is behind people not a lot of Tesla's in yeah I feel though 'cause I'm I'm also laughing at the store because I feel like that was so many buddies early no like I remember thinking it was hot hot. If guy had like a good base for this a love see I know I think maybe that's a small town thing because like what else do you really have to get excited about so and especially if you like music. I'm now your sound system and I love the you said that because maybe that's what thought like I even had a nice sound system in my room. Yeah now I imagine like me and my bedroom like trick and out a sound on my. Wow would I do that but going up and it was you know Utah Talk Nirvana Music was life like Lyra and I think it's kind of like that as a kid now but like it's it's just what gets chew up music. I just couldn't get enough of it I did. I spent money on music in how to make it louder. That's I don't know that's what I think it's great. It's how are your eardrums. They're good I actually have. I have altima now a lot more practical. Oh yeah but I do have to tens in the trunk which I'm like Dude thirty nine year old dude with six kids like that's it probably a little geeky. Did you have fun all such a blast? He was like, man, this is the best day of my life. This is amazing. I've never seen anything like really Walker came over the trailer, Amy, and we hung out before. So they're calling it beauty gate because I phone users claim. The newest model is automatically smoothing skin and sell fees. Anybody, you know about this. I mean, they say that when they, you've turned that the camera towards you, your skin automatically looks better in younger. Like you've got a filter on, but it's not a filter. It's the regular camera. Now I found says it's just the way the the new phone takes the picture and puts it all together makes it that way. But I don't know. I feel like they're just trying to make us all look awesome and younger all the time which don't get me wrong. I'm not against, but you should have the option if you wanna do that or not, because sometimes you know, you wanna keep it real, see what you really look like. And if we're constantly deceived like sometimes I meet people on the Mike. Oh, wow, you must use a filter like all the tire. I have never seen you in person before, and I don't. I have to watch that with myself because I can get carried away with filters. 'cause they do make you look better, but I don't want anybody to ever meet me. N. b. like, oh, interesting. You're like ten years. Then I thought everybody's in Burnley. Cat fishing, everyone. Beauty gate. I don't mind it as long as everybody knows. Right. But you're you're, yes. I mean, it's everybody wants a new phone, but it if you don't have a choice, but the camera's always making awesome. And then you look in the mirror lindane you're like, oh, shoot. What about your daughter? Do you let heard the filters on herself on your? Yeah, but she loves the dog and the, you know, bunny and all the fun ones. So like I'm fine with that, but I definitely want to be careful that she doesn't get too carried away with. I have like a niece and nephew in like some of their friends. Were there already photo shopping, all of their pictures. And it's so obvious real? Yes. And they're in high school. Some my friends, niece, we were going through one of hers because she's like in junior high and takes time to edit and completely Photoshop, and one to even make her look a little bit skinnier. And then some of the comments below were her classmates being like, this totally doesn't look you. You're not that skinny. And then she replied back, I didn't Photoshop it, but you can totally tell she did. It's thing and it's like, gosh, the pressure mash should give that up. Kids are doing it, and I'm about to be ripped whenever they body painted me and they were like, do you want me to paint on ads? And I was like, yes, but then my suit you couldn't see them, but I, I'm not against that. The make the makeup ads. Yeah, we're adults. Okay, fine. We can make those decisions, but having to feel like you need to Photoshop yourself like that when you're fifteen like that, that's I don't like that. I know I. I love country music. I love the history of country music, which is why people call me. Yeah, country. Music's young as historian. That's what I day and country music. Here we go. Bobby Jones show on this day. Some of the artists country music artists that went into articles and interviews talking about how they were cheering me on this TV show because they didn't have to do that and other radio stations that aren't that don't have our show. Well, sometimes penalize artists for saying they even friends with me and it's not fair apple in my last relationship, it's not fair, and I won't even say the artists or should I. Yeah, I think. Okay. So I'm reading this article in Walker Hayes, is talking about how he's running from. I was like, man, that's so cool into put himself out there like that. And at that time there's a song on the greatest showman soundtrack came on and listen all this music pumped up before show. And the song came on as called a million dreams and it starts to play with will walk articles. I started crying. I know No, who I am. it's okay. So it's a kid.
