"A Mild Winter day here in the Caspian Sea shore, and we welcome our longtime colleague Marc Clifford. Long time residents of Hong Kong to comment on a piece of legislation that looks to represent bipartisanship, Republicans and Democrats in the House of Representatives It is entitled something Wajih about the Hong Kong Protection Act, but it speaks to a classifications that has been available for some time for countries that are hard pressed. Temporary protection status. GPS is called, and the Congress is looking to extend TPS to residents of Hong Kong Gordon Is this a just a nice idea that's been developed for some time. It's a surprise to me that they would offer to Hong Kong. And extremely well to do place the same provision that they offered a citizens of Haiti. Yes, well, this is a surprise. In the sense there is 10 countries that have this temporary protection status, and they're all poor. Now Hong Kong is relatively rich by global standards. And yet Hong Kong people's Freedom and Choice Act. Would extend this temporary protection status, which I think is a good thing. Our colleague Michael Yon has been talking about this now for months. And so it's an idea was time has come. Mark. It's a pleasure to speak to you has been much too long. I'd munch your thoughts because you are the resident oven Kong. We're speculating from the outside. Look, It's a science fiction story does this remedy Make sense to people who live and have committed their lives to Hong Kong. Good evening to you, Mark. Yeah. Good evening, John. And it's great to be talking to you. You're seriously on the road, but It's Xander fel to be sharing the airways with you and Gordon again. Look, I can say that the people of Hong Kong welcome the attention in the help that the world is giving, even though that in some cases seems to be illegal under the new National Security law to even almost be having contact with foreigners seems to be a little suspect these days. So I think that Hong Kong people are terrified about the world forgetting about them and, of course, when it comes to their personal lives and the lives of their loved ones to have the option. Go live in another country is one that I personally believe that hundreds of thousands of Hong Kong's will take up after the British city to give back Hong Kong to the communist Chinese during that period from 1984 when the agreement was signed until the 1997 hand over roughly about 300,000 people. Immigrated from Hong Kong. Now it's over a number of years and they weren't all for political reasons, but most of them were and I think we're going to see something on that level. This time in the population 7.5 million people. I think the UK Britain has extended some similar kind of provisions, which is now in force that Would allow over 100,000 people to go to the U. K. I mean, technically allowed quite a few more than that, but we think best estimates there somewhere over 100,000 will take him up on that offer. Another 100,000 maybe went to the U. S. I mean, it certainly would be great for the U. S. To be very very, You know, it's a sad day for Hong Kong. It's a very, very difficult time and Uncle Gordon, You have a question for our colleague. Mark. This temporary protection status really is refugee measure, and this would be an extreme embarrassment to Beijing if substantial number of people in Hong Kong took it up. You see that? If this measure does pass the Senate and signed by President Trump, Do you think that Beijing will sort of try to close down the borders of Hong Kong to make sure people don't take advantage of this status? I don't like to predict the future, particularly when it comes to what the people in Beijing might do. But it's you know, obviously, you know they have done things in the last few months, and we would have thought where were unthinkable. So, as you say, I think the key in the first immediate factory should keep in mind is this is a real slap in the face to Beijing. I mean, The richest country on there on the on the listed you will mention before his El Salvador, which has about 1/10 the income of Hong Kong. I mean, per capita income in Hong Kong is almost 50,000. U. S dollars. So I mean, this drives Beijing nuts When countries like Beijing sorry, like Britain and other places are offering what's effectively on a political escape route for the people of Hong Kong and They are starting to vote with their feet. Justice. They voted with their feet in the 19 eighties. So, um, I closing the borders. I don't know, but the borders are let's not forget more less closed right now because of cope it. I mean, Cafe Pacific used to have, I think 35 flights a week between New York and Hong Kong. Last time I checked, it's 33 a week from 35 so borders sort of our shot. Mark. The romance of leaving everything behind was played out in the 19 twenties and thirties and forties from Europe, and there's this image of Very well educated families arriving in New York, either off of a boat or in some fashion, arriving by train and then starting all over and making great success, But that's the fairy tale. To offer temporary protective status is one thing but to offer AH foundation to start again in another country are there to your knowledge are the provisions beyond this? I mean grants or education programs, their licensing availability, anything like that. I don't know, But I can say that in the case, I'm a little more from it familiar What's going on with the UK right now, just because it's been in trains and since July, and I think people are are thinking Well, you know, selling apartment moved to the U..

Hi Mike and Jennifer. One of the best things about sitting around a campfire to our way of thinking is telling stories and at this time of year ghost stories and other scary tales are the best most of us can recount the tale of the severed hand or the wind ago. That haunts the North Woods. As we travel around the country one very enjoyable pastime is finding and collecting lore about local monsters, creatures, and unknown phenomena in honor of Halloween. Here are a few of the ones we've encountered. Southwestern. Ohio is a lovely area full of interesting things to see and do, and if you happen to be camping near the little Miami, scenic river, you'll want to be careful at night several times over the past fifty years. Local police have reported seeing a strange creature on the surrounding roadways like many reptiles it sits on the tarmac at night soaking up the warmth. Said officer Mark Matthews. It was about sixty pounds four feet high. It stood up on its two hind feet turned and looked at me with a face that looked like a frog or a lizard then hopped to down the embankment and into the little Miami River. In the ensuing years there have been several reported sightings of the Loveland. Frogman. It's even spawned. BLUEGRASS musical. And example of the fiercest strangest most frightening monster ever to set razor sharp claws on earth was caught and killed using dynamite no less by a group of locals near the town of Rhinelander Wisconsin in eighteen, ninety three. Born from the ashes of cremated oxygen and driven by memories of the abuse they suffered in life. This was a Hodak one of the few remaining in the area after its preferred food bulldogs became scarce. A second example was caught alive in eighteen, ninety six and put on display by Eugene? Shepherd who showed the creature at the United County Fair. For patrons safety the Ho- Dag was into a near Stupor, but it's occasional movements never failed to set skittish onlookers to flight. On July twenty, fifth, one, thousand, nine, hundred, seventy, seven, ten, year old Martin Low was attacked by two large birds while he was playing in his yard one of them with a wingspan of at least ten feet picked him up and carried him two houses down the street before his mom's scared into dropping him. Several neighbors witnessed event swore to his accuracy. The Lawn Dale thunderbird was never seen again. But similar birds have been reported all across the US. The name comes most likely from a story told by the past quality people of Maine in your travels you may have collected a thunder stone thought to be the egg this monstrous flying beast. Bigfoot the best known encrypted in north. America has some cousins. You might not know about when we were in New Mexico at the Gila hot springs campground. We were warned not to leave any food outside and to beware of straying too far from the campsite after dark, there had been sightings we were told of the Mogayon Monster, an eight foot tall fantastically muscled ape man who robbed Campers of their food and tour deer and bears limb from limb occasional sightings, campsite destruction, hair samples, and strange nighttime noises. All make it seem just possible that he's out there somewhere. And speaking of nighttime noises. The Eerie calls of the Shunga Warrenton can sometimes be heard along the Madison, valley? Montana. The only known example of the creature was shot in one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty, six by an early settler and mounted by local taxidermist. "Across the country. Ursula, we need to talk. And you listen out there and Egypt away in state woman text line is not 8973. Here's what we need to talk about. When someone tells you a secret Hey, listen, You heard from me. Hey, he can't tell nobody. Hey, look, this is between me and you, okay? When someone tells you a secret Are you allowed to tail? Your significant other? Texas right now, 98973 Ursula, you're up to bat first. I'm right my notes down If someone says this is a secret, and this could be harmful Um, I would generally say I would keep that secret. Now, have there been times when someone said this is a secret? I think someone needs to know because this is actually harmful to other people. Than I will make that exception. But I would say that I don't tell my husband everything. If someone says this is a secret, this is really something personal, you know. I have friends who I have who are telling me things in confidence, and I don't think that I need to be telling my husband. It's not his business. It's something that she has told me, um I would say generally? No, you should be keeping a secret. Schiff Ah! This is hard. I think this is where I come down on it. You can tell your spouse but you probably shouldn't. However, if you're the one who's telling the secret you have to assume they will tell their spouse. Thank you. You have to thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Chef. You have to assume that Like guys aren't Personally, I don't I don't disagree with that. And if I tell some of the Hey, this is a secret. I assume that someone else will end up knowing I just hope it's Not someone who could be hurt by this particular thing. Okay? And I also and also always want to know what's the intention behind the secret? Okay. Now, Ursula, when it comes to how to keep a marriage longer, no doubt about it. You are the goat. You are the main stage. But when it comes to what happens when marriages don't work? That's the Department of mind. No, no. Okay, So what did happen, so? Yeah, So here's the deal Now, when that friend says to you, Hey, Hey, I need you to keep a secret. You can't say anything and you're okay. Here. You take that secret. And then when you tell your significant other you have to understand. Once you tell your spouse your spouse is free game, So your significant other Khun, Go and tell the world Because they didn't get the same type of. Hey, this is a secret. That's number one number two point I want to make is this For those that have been through a divorce and then through breakups. If there's one thing that you'll learn is this Some of the most spiteful people in the world in your life will be that X. Why? Because they will use some of those secrets. That you've kept with them over the lifetime. So all I'm saying is this when your friend so, for example, let's just say you have a buddy and you tell your friend a secret and you have to assume, like chef said. That that's friend is going to tell the significant other Well, what happens if they divorce in five years? All bets are off Everything that you told your good friend is going to be towed to the significant other And now their divorce, And then they have no marriage. And they don't tell you business, Wajih. So what you're saying is never tell your friend a secret if you don't trust their marriage. Because your secrets will come out. No, no, That's not what I'm saying. If you got a secret You wanted to stay a secret. I'll tell you for you. Ah, and see, I value my friendships in that eye. I know that people look to me and share things and confidence because they know I will listen. And if they say something that I think this really doesn't need to go anywhere. Why do I need to tell my husband? Why does he need to know? It doesn't affect him in any sort of way. Why does he need to know? Sometimes you run out of things. Good person to five. I I just want to say we do have some. Oh, my We got listeners that are weighing in on this too. 53 says. My wife will say right up front. I should not tell you this and then received isn't here to tell you what problems if his wife had said Hey, I need you to take out the garbage. He didn't hear it, but 971 says. I'm waiting for like twenty five guys. Thanks for your time. Your kind words are are greatly appreciated. Franken thank you very very much. Yeah aggressive your day by the way. My son is twenty nine years old now. So he's the man right. Yeah he's a man who engaged and Scott life man which is lost and living his life and I'm so happy for him so yeah so it's all good man. Paul good is it is awkward each the morning show with boomer Esiason and Gregg Giannotti boomer and Geo Jerry. Recco is with us right now at the top of the nine o'clock hour nine zero five. Dave Portnoy's GonNa join us to talk about Roger. Goodell auction winning situation. He of Barstool sports and the feud that they've had barstool in the NFL. And Roger Goodell and the two hundred and fifty thousand dollars that Dave Portnoy pay to sit and Roger. Goodell's man cave talk to him about that. But right now we got. Jerry's update what's going on Jerry. All guys baseball or no baseball. That is the question We're GONNA get this proposal from the owners to the players. Today the idea would be to start a season beginning of July maybe even fourth of July weekend somewhere in the neighborhood of eight hundred eighty two game something like that though it could be a little bit more could be a little less who knows No fans in the stands we know. Here's Jim Bowden. Mlb analyst on CBS the Great CBS sports HQ Yesterday talking about how he believes the proposal we received by the players. The first thing that happens is Tony Clark. The head of the Union says we have no interest in revenue split. We came to an agreement back in March that the players would be paid a pro rated amount. You knew back then. There was a chance there was not going to be any fans. And he basically says that's a nonstarter for US nonstarter but he did say there are things that they can agree to and then they can put the money aside for the moment and in terms of what that would be. He explains the eighty two game schedule now. Baseball can move. Eighty-two can become a hundred if they start negotiating with the players if that's what the players want as an example The Ross Ice. Thirty plus twenty does that work for them. A Universal de age. The clubs have already said they're good with it. We know Tony Clark is good with it. So that one we know will happen. Man of course expanded playoffs stuff like that but in the end as he says as it always does it comes down to money and cash. The biggest hurdle is going to be the finances here and this one's not going to be easy to overcome because the players are digging in on their position and so are the owners report. Say the owners likely to offer the players. A fifty fifty revenue split of the Games played. So we'll see which direction this goes but I'm Wajih if this goes in a bad direction for the players Even with every thing they've done good during this pandemic and all the money they've raised it's going be Not a good look for them. Long money money money money. Yeah exactly The world baseball classics must be played in two thousand twenty one in March. That'll be nixed and the Japanese Baseball League Hoping to restart have you guys seen. I think it's the Korean Baseball League. If you've seen the cardboard cutouts in the stands behind on plate yes not a big fan. No the robot's Funnier than the cardboard cutouts I mean. Why do you need that image? Everybody knows a cardboard cutout. I THEY GET. It looks okay without fans it really does. I agree the the robots are a little bit of a funny thing. A robot mannequins. But if you're just doing cardboard cutouts I mean to me that's just totally silly. Looks like the rays game. I went to about five years ago. That's what it looks like. You know I think Zack has those cutouts us in his does studio there. I'm thinking that he could put like me. And you and Mike Right in between us at Citi Field and Yankee Stadium. Why not just put US RIGHT BEHIND? Home Plate. He's got a cold actually got him the lawn. Tony Page one. He's got a On very popular warm show that airs between five forty six. I don't have one either actually so you'd have to make positive and Jones. No they were only made for Wfan and then had his own mate. I don't have one. I'm telling you I would ask one. Don't get you one. I think we gotta get you one and I think that you know because we are the rights holders for these baseball teams. We should force them to put them behind home plate and then we could have like boomer and Gio across our shirts we can do a whole like a whole new thing each and every home game be great. Be Great Promotion. We'll cross promotion. Well I mean listen. We're paying rights fees what those. I wonder if those rights fees are going to be negotiated down. Yeah I'm glad I'm not a part of those negotiations. That's all say well. If the players are going to negotiate a half did negotiate down then I would think the rights holders are going to have to negotiate down right. Yeah sure I mean none of this is going to be easy man a lot a lot of back and forth and. I'm just happy that I just sit here and make fun of people for a living instead of. Do those actors United State bills that I have to pay. Yeah no I know I mean your your office that you can't work in Manhattan can't be cheap. That's for sure now it's reasonable. It's always reasonable but you know that's what that's what the SBA loans are for. I guess Some football sound nick. Sabin you've heard of him. He was on the giants. Huddle podcast with our friends for AL's react on that one He's woodlands meadow and John. Shmukh Malcolm Sabin. That's a pretty good. Is it not? Oh huge he was giving advice to Joe Judge coming into year. One is being a head coach and you come into a new situation. You gotta be yourself be who you are. Don't try to be somebody else You know and do things the way you want to do them and You know get the kind of players that you want as it takes some time to build that you magin. Sabin and Bella check in a cocktail party. I'm sure that they're fun though. I'm telling you drunk. Yeah I'm sure I'd love to man I there's people I'd love to talk to drunk really get I think about this all the time. A lot of it has to do with the NFL head coaches and owners. And I just WanNa know what they're saying while they're drunk and who they are tearing apart. That's what I WANNA. Yeah you know. What's amazing? Is that all. Those coach is figure that Cleveland Browns coaching staff with Bela check. And Save on it back in the day right. I know it's amazing. I mean that was. There's a lot of people on that. Coaching staff that ended with wasn't urban Meyer or some- somebody else was on that coaching staff to ridiculous name somehow work their way into the Google. Butch Davis was on there for some reason. I don't know why I feel like it was him. Here's another Sabin talking about the giants. Getting Xavier mckinney. He's obviously a fan. I think this was a really really good. Pick for the giants and I think you know like I tell guys here. It's not where you get picked. It's what you do with the opportunity that you have so. Don't worry much about where you get picked but you know what you do after you get the opportunity. Giants got real good. One there Mike Evans spoke. He was on an instagram. Live with somebody. I don't know who He's in Tampa and he talks about the bucks getting Tom Brady. And what it means for this team. You're ready it the opportunity to get Tom Brady. Tom Brady Bro. That's the greatest of all He's a he's a he's a he's a franchise and the franchise already feeling the impact of Brady signing their ticket. Sales are going through the roof like Primetime Games. And he understands the game of football to nobody else understands that level. I want to kick in the ASS. It'll be if they can't put fans in the stands Come the fall. But that's the world we're living in right now. Logan Ryan was on the mccourty podcast. They've got a podcast to He goes unsigned but he told a really cool story made that that really good run into the postseason last year did the titans. He tells a really cool story that I had not heard before about when Marcus. Mariota was benched. Some guys would salkin go haydn curl up in the fetal position but this guy instead took it the other way and turned out to be a spark plug for this team. I think mark accepted so well and was like all right. I'll do what's best for team. You started killing us every single week. Like he started ripping us in practice. I mean Marcus. Mariota was the practice quarterback and he was destroying us and made us better. It made us better. In Ryan's helmet is better and Derek. Sorry going and defensively we just We understood the defense. I think that is a great story because some guys GM boomer you obviously know Geez most guys would be like pissed and he took it the complete opposite way which is which is awesome. Well I was ripping our defense in nineteen ninety six and seven when I was the practice quarterback for the cardinals and the Bengals at different times. Because I was mad that I was in starting so I took it out on those guys right. Corden made the better and I got in a fight with. I want to say and it's hard to believe that even a fight it was probably more of a shouting match with the Great Dick Lebeau. Who I believe was the defensive coordinator for the ninety seven Bengals and he used to yell at me in practice because I used to tell the scout team guys look. They got fifteen minutes setup for this drill. If we go fast enough we can get done in five minutes. So let's see if we can get done in five minutes pissed the coaches off so I was going so fast in practice that Dick Lebeau said you know we?.

The fuck that the story of how the PUCK Weiji came to go came to be goes back as a story to a giant amazed help amaze had a mishap maiden. Name's head a mishap. I managed had an HAP- it's it's a matter of tip. Oh it was called that I just was bad for a story of Jain Code along another key element in how we say that. The Peggy whatever folklore. The puck where she became jealous of this praise because of the crap that they praised the triesman gave them mouse. Bap. They decided to help the tribe as well so the thing that most have cited the tribes. So this thing fucking literally jealous. The natives are who would the puck with the most cars the PORCUPINE puck wise? You Fuck Up. Like jealous could be cute. They're well intended. Plans didn't turn out so good. The site had become eleven. Fours of evil said and mash up was called upon to scoop up the puck wedgies and scatter them across the lane and only call the crosses creature called up and this thing grabbed them up. So maybe it's like a flying kind of a giant giant so these things are like looking around like with binoculars from from how tall is looking around the grounds like there's a puck Wajih tears. The PUCK Wedgie. There is a PUCK AJI. And then they're like. Hey you go here you go there you go. Where ever they scattered around. But then there's still quite she's everywhere. Why aren't these jarring to step on every single one of them? Fuck it the most time. "Sit for like ten minutes. It's really hard and it's not from like a omega. Don't sit with my thoughts thing. It's uncomfortable with that but it's just the act of not. Doing anything is very hard for me. So you've got a little bit of a paradox thing going on the waking up from waking up from stillness and get going as hard and once you get going. It's hard to put on the brakes and go into stillness correct. That is my every single day. Yes of how skill you know. And so yeah and then you know you spend that. I'd normally eight hours at the officer my recording studio. I'm lucky to have two buildings that are really close to each other within seven blocks some kind of back and forth between you know my music business find your grind may education company and other various things that we're doing here so then they end the night with my new baby. I just I have about two months old at home so it's very ignored way out which is another thing as well. So is your baby like an octopus baby to like always moving. Not yet not yet. You see it more like Buddha baby. He's going to a common patients that I need. Oh that's fantastic. Yeah so let's talk about find your grind. What is it and why did you create it? Wow find your grind is a self discovery and career exploration platform in. Its most simple sense. That is what we do so I created it through my recording studio. I started to bring young kids into my studio. Didn't have access to gear into the music into like kids who've never seen what it's like inside a recording studio in these underserved areas around Los Angeles and Orange County to these events. Were with ten to fifteen kids. I would bring mentors in superstar producers into Kinda. Show them how to create music. They get on the microphone. We would shoot a music video at the end of the day so kind of giving him touch a taste of what career path was like in music was interesting. I was like man. This is really cool. How can I do this across hundreds of careers and like the future of work right? Things are headed in society to thousands of kids. Like how can just increase what I've done here in a small way across like the Plethora of everything that's happening in two thousand twenty beyond right and so yeah. I started the film my friends I started to literally create these five minute videos of how people call. My friends got started whether it was businesses. They created on their own. Or were you know people who are working in industries of the past ten? Fifteen years really showing. What's emerging? What is coming up. What the future of the stuff is not just silent to non traditional careers of course focusing on traditional careers as well because not everyone's in a jump into a entrepreneurial future of work scenario but for me was about looking at what I had access to and building upon that so I filmed about one hundred and fifty my friends. We'd or not in created these five minute little videos. That was just about like how they got started. What the first ten percent of their journey was like really giving young people tangible information of like how to genuinely get started not like. Hey I'm superstar human now and the kid watching. It has no idea how to even be in that prison shoes. I wanted to really take the conversation in a like very much. So how do I get started in this industry so we jumped a bunch of our friends? Were lucky enough. I partnered with a gun Mike Smith. He's been the number one you speak in the country for the past six years. He speaks a lot of kids in schools. So we created find your together and actually took it on the road so the first thing we did was we jumped in a tour bus and got to speak across forty different states to like two hundred and fifty thousand kids in auditoriums and gymnasiums. About what find your mind is what the conversation we want to have inside actual the walls of schools. Which was pretty crazy like to be able to do that. So that was ready to first iteration into it. We've taken all that content. We filmed all the light advanced stuff. We've done in packaged it into kind of our first which is a curriculum in schools across forty eight states right now. So He's actually. It's been taken into schools yet. Yeah correct yeah so right now. We have over five thousand teachers using the product. We launched about six months ago as a free tool for schools to used really. It's about real life skills right like stuff that I wish I had in school growing up. It's like how to take a loan out on a car like manage taxes. How to manage my social media in case someone looking to hire me looking at my twitter account and I'm talking badly about something. Just one of my friends like a lot of kids. Just don't think about that stuff so is really from me about like emerging careers epic content videos. That would make teachers and students feel super engaged in relevant to the conversation of where route as a society right now in real life skills you know combining that into one product which is what find your grind really is right now so it's pretty cool. That is really cool and I went onto site last night. Had this quiz around. And there's an assessment right up front where you can do is like take your assessment. See what kind of profile you have in terms of what kind of career would be suitable to you which is really cool. So how did you? How did you go about designing that self assessment tool? Yeah we have a an awesome team educators and we use the research team at Nebraska to help us like back the Esperance recreating but really. What's so cool about that? Assessment is it's it's a lifestyle assessment. So anyone you know all you guys who are listening. I urge you to go take. It is very fine. It's twenty eight question assessment. That really spits out your your top five lifestyles so what we've done with find your guys categorized like. We want to start the conversation with lifestyle. I with young people. It's where so many young people are having to choose the job out of school and even in school as early as like thirteen. Fourteen years old you gain strength based upon what the job is in a lot of people end up hating the lifestyle right because they've guest on what job without would get them the most money or whatever. They were pressured into so for us. It was like why don't we start the conversation in kind of flip it upside down to start with lifestyle? I write like what are the things that are important in your life. Then looking at what strengths do you have internally as as a prison instead of developing strengths based off of a job you guessed on. Let's look at who you really are as a person that real like self discovery process. And then lastly look at careers as like the end of the funnel so like jobs and careers that fit underneath those lifestyle. Buckets so really. We've Kinda just flipped the triangle upside down and have started kind of that new conversation. So the assessment is really the first piece to to find your in that in that journey of exploration is. Let's start with the top five lifestyles for you. We have sixteen so after your after your assessment you'll get your first your top five and then the journey starts from there where you can start to explore people in different careers that are inside those lifestyle buckets. So it's a pretty cool process. It's just wanted pause and say how frequent brilliant that is by the way. It's Very Gen. Y I have to say this to flip it on the head. Because as you're talking about the fact that you reversed that what's traditional thinking gen-x my gen where its career strengths. And then you get the lifestyle that you want instead of Gen. Ys have all been like screw that like. That's just sounds like delayed gratification. Why don't we just choose what we want from the beginning and oriented around that? I think? That's a sensational. So it's not I mean look. I don't think it's just for kitties now in its in. Its not and you're absolutely right and like that's been the thing as a business it's like we don't want to go so light in the beginning you know. We've had a lot of traction in schools. Let's start there and build the best product we can there. What's exciting about next year? We actually are opening up. Find your grind to be an individualized personalized experience. Which will come out sometime around June but really looking at find your guy as this personalize on demand at any time mobile learning experience that people can have to go on there and really understand. Okay like what is the right path for me. So it's a lot about kind of like micro learning MICR assessments. Just different stuff that we're building out for this individual experience for find your grind which were really excited about so that we're not only focused in schools but we are focused on different demographics of people that can actually go on to utilize guide as well so. Yeah it's it's exciting so tell me a little bit. More about the micro learning so the lifestyle assessment is the kind of the entry point like find out a little bit about who you are and then the other services that you offer through. Ef Wajih is our wet yeah so that that is our core products next year. Were were moving into a subscription based individualized personalized learning space. Right so you download find your grind and just like you've done through the lifestyle assessment you kick your journey off by understanding what those lifestyles are for you and then along the way what we wanna do is like really start to blend in this conversation around like power skills so power skills are really this term that we a lot of people are starting to use. That is really like what are the skills that are going to be necessary for human beings to be the best versions of themselves to be like the future of work like. What is that going to demand? These power skills are things like working with teams collaboration. Creativity communication like very simple off scale things that we all know. We all know what they are but unfortunately those type of things are blended into a lot of products. That young young people in schools are learning. So what we want to do with this individualized experiences really stressed the importance of power skills in all of these mini assessments and video content in things that you're consuming to be able to start getting badges and certificates of achievement through having these power skills right so imagine at the end of it as you go through these different various modules like you're leaving with badges of certification that you have the power skills in that you have these social emotional learning capabilities that are important for the future of work. Two Thousand Forty. Two Thousand Fifty. These are the things as automation in as industries are changing that I believe people are really really going to need and I believe it's not emphasized enough in at least schools and maybe outside schools as well. So I'm really excited about that. This is a whole new compensation for me to like. I'm just learning about this stuff too. I'm so thankful to have the team that we knew. Find your grind. But it is so true. It's like yeah being able to work with teams and being teaching to the whole individual like it's a lot more than just knowing what's inside of a book in it's about like working teams knowing how to collaborate knowing how to be creative knowing how to communicate your ideas like those are the things that I think are are going to be more important than ever so. We went from an educators point of view. Because that's totally in in my own pocket. My own sweet spot is doing that. People stuff stuff how you see that rolling out. In terms of the micro learning is it one. Video learning is online platform is. I'm based like what kind of educational design? Are you applying to this or is that still yet to be determined? Yeah that that's an awesome woman named Lauren. Curious who is our..

Great again, you needs to switch parties and run as a democrat. Jake. Watching Bernie Sanders. Say's Trump switched parties at Walter run for cover not know what to say anymore. That'd be tasteless. Well, I don't think he'd be able to win in a democrat primary. But let's recall that the reason he is president is that he was able to attract democrat voters in those rust belt states. And and he got those what we used to call. Reagan democrats. These were these were people who were tired of international competition and afraid of immigration, and he was able to play on that. And and do very well. You'd think they'd primary Democrats sitting president. Oh, absolutely. Remember, they married. Jimmy carter. Jimmy Carter was primary by. Kennedy, Ted Kennedy. So it's it certainly happens. Okay. Does this does the report ease your mind? Yes. I know he didn't collude with the Russians the dumbest heard. Let me ask you this. Would you have been surprised if? Oh. If some campaign person, not high but low down. Colluded or had meetings. I would not have surprised me. I would have been surprised that made it all the way up to the president. But that would not surprise me. Me either. But I would have had to figure it was a liberal plant trying to make it look bad. I would put it this way. The reason I wouldn't be surprised is because it was a very naive. Campaign. These guys never ran for dog catcher. And here they are running for president. I wouldn't be surprised if there was stupid mistakes like that made. Fortunately, there weren't. My whole thing is that when this whole thing was going on. He should have just been pardoning everybody. Oh, you want to burden you know? He should've just pardoned to anybody that they even mentioned to the. Who should pardon? What Trump's everybody needs should every time. Every time all we wanna see this guy. Oh, sorry. Pardon? Pardon? No, I'm glad I'm glad this investigation is over. I think the Dem's will be. Bashing a dead horse for the next year trying to find some way to keep to keep this alive. And I think for the most part we're going to get tired of it. Yeah. Nobody nobody. No, Republican nobody who voted for Trump believes that Trump is an angel. Nobody believes that he's not a misogynist nobody believes that he's not air. Again. Nobody believes that he's not an Assad narcissists. We all know he is. We know he's a narcissist. We know he's misogynistic. We know all these things about him. We don't care because we want to get things done. Shock any of us. The man can do no wrong in my eyes. But you know, if you know if we look at really liberals trashing Trump for colluding with the Russians I mean, which party. Aligns their their believed with Russia. I would think that's Democrats. They call them a Naci, which party was the Naci party. The socialist party. I made. I look at this. And if everything that Democrats, do I believe their whole the analogy that best describes the Democrats the far Wajih who smelt it dealt it. No matter what no matter what they accuse him of pretty much. They smelt it. But I truly believe they dealt it. You'd make a fine fine. Lawyer thanks for the call John. I appreciate it. Three three seven one three eight two five five seven seven three talk. I'd very much like to speak to a liberal who was who was convinced there was collusion now. I know what you're gonna say. Well, there's still could have been obstruction of Justice over the probe. All right. Yeah. You can say that. But we were told over and over there was going to be proof of collusion. And there is no proof of collusion quite the opposite. He's been cleared. This lifts that cloud. That Putin worked with our president to throw an election. We read from the Wall Street Journal, pardon me for for doing that. I just think they nail it. No. It no means let's try that. Again. It means no Trump officials abetted the hack into democrat emails. No, Trump officials conspired with WikiLeaks. That's Roger stone's fantasies aside. The conclusion should restore a measure of public confidence in our political system and the integrity of our US elections. Imagine the political crisis had Mr. Mueller found the opposite the end of the collusion illusion. Should also caused the media to do some soul-searching about rushes to judgment. Oh, yeah. That's gonna happen. Yeah. That's gonna happen. I tell you what the media is finally going to do some soul searching because that's what they're best that soul-searching. I go back to the editor for two years with the help of X. Obama officials they spun anecdotes of contacts between Russians and Trump campaign advisers into conspiracy with few exceptions, they went beyond I and Bamut oversight into anti-trump advocacy. But it was always odd that those individual Russia Trump contacts never added up to anything or win anywhere. Which is why we warned about waiting for the facts many in the press also took Mr. Trump's denunciations against the investigation and his own his own salaciousness for. Mr Putin as an admission of guilt, but Mr. Trump has often often his own worst enemy and bursts of ego and anger aren't evidence of anything, but predictable Trump behavior. Wow. I just love this. It should cause the media to do some soul suit searching about Russia's to judgement for two years with the help of X over Bama officials. They the media spun antidotes of contacts between Russians and Trump campaign advisers into a conspiracy with few exceptions, they went well beyond the first amendment oversight into anti-trump, advocacy. Here here. The media has done nothing, but anti-trump advocacy. And this should be a wakeup call to them will be no. The twenty sixteen election should have been a wakeup call to them. But no. His grab this to the question has always been whether Mr. bueller would be able to connect those anecdotes to a larger conspiracy. But now, we know he could not by the way, Mr. Mueller probe is the third to find. No Russia, Trump collusion following the house and the Senate intelligence committee findings perhaps the press corps will finally take no conspiracy for an answer as for drugs of structured of Justice. Some Democrats will shirt that Mr. Mueller's failure to reach a conclusion justifies more investigation. They will demand to see the evidence that Mr. Euler compiled, so most of this is already in the public domain since it concerned the firing of James, call me as FBI director, and they will claim that Mr. bar and Rosenstein are politically conflicted. But note that mR Barr says. That he had Mr. Rosenstein took into account that Mr. Mueller found quote, the evidence does not establish that the president was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference which bears on motive we say. That again, that's a good point it bears on motives. Mueller found the evidence doesn't establish that the president was involved. Without an underlying crime. What was Mr. Trump trying to cover up? Probably nothing. Mr. Barr says he and Rosenstein reached their judgment about obstruction without getting into the constitutional issue of whether a sitting president can be indicted. But in our view, this is the Wall Street Journal, Mr. Trump has every right as president to fire, Mr. Komi, for whatever reason he saw fit the constitution gives the president power to hire and fire at will. And it cannot be a legal to perform an act that the constitution says is legal matter. What the motive? House Democrats will have to decide what to do with all this and their first resort will be to demand to see the entire report. Mr. bar and his legal in his letter against again promise to disclose as much as he can subject to the grand grand jury, secrecy and other Justice rules, but we hope this includes his disclosures the documents in his disclosures. The documents that explain how the entire Russia conspiracy began at the FBI and inside the Obama administration with Mr. Mueller's conclusions. We know that someone may have conned the FBI into one of the great dirty tricks in American political history. Journal finishes on this the Mueller report won't end this rancorous period in American politics. But at least it should put the Russia conspiracy file to bed and for that. We all can be grateful. All right three zero three seven one three eight two five five seven one three talk. I'm still waiting for a liberal to call up and say how they feel about this. I I would think they'd be relieved and happy and now we can get onto. Regular politics and that the the witch trials should be over there. They're not gonna do that. Progressives are pissed off that our president did.

"Now what's going on? We start our number two. I'm Jim Rome. I'm live in southern California. And it's about to get busy. If you missed our number one, I mentioned that today's by Friday, I'm not in tomorrow. So we gotta get some stuff done between down the end of the program. The reason I'm not in tomorrow is because it is a travel day getaway day. Another Rome family adventure. We're headed to Wisconsin. We're gonna check out the campus. Once again talk to sue professors, go to the badger game on Saturday. And then I'm back here on Monday. So Brian Weber since Morrow this is technically by Friday. Let's get it. Going broadcasting from the Quicken Loans studios. Apply simply understand fully mortgage confidently. One eight hundred six three six eight six eight six we talked about Maryland in our number one utter disaster. They try to bring back DJ Durkin the border regions had their guy. They want him to come back to reinstate him twenty four hours later, gone fired. No credit for getting it. Right. It should have never taken that long. They should've taken care of this much sooner no credit for getting it right better late than never but no credit for getting it. Right. We talked about the Thursday night matchup. I did that last hour. Meantime, I wanna quickly talk about Cleveland. Cleveland sports. It's been a tough week. In fact, he disastrous week in Cleveland sports. And when I say a disastrous week for Cleveland, if you say that what are you talking about? It's like the Titanic crashing into the Hindenburg what somebody fell asleep at Chernobyl that kind of bad how bad the Cavaliers gassed. Hi, lou. After only six games a world championship three Eastern Conference finals, do not let the door hit you on the way out the team, then chases that by now, very drew is their interim head coach Larry drew made it very clear. No, I'm not his first order of business was to say. Oh, no. I'm not. I mean, what a circus. But even that is. Relegated to the side stage. Compared to the uncontrollable blaze burning across town at Brown's HQ, Hugh is gone after failing in thirty seven of the forty weeks that he was on that job. Todd Haley has gone after only eight weeks on that job. And while there was some question as to who would take charge of that team before Jimmy has lem finally gets the hell out of the way. And let's John Dorsey do his job the interim gig is in the hands of none other than Greg Williams. Greg Williams, three Gs one loss Inge, and maybe the all time worst brand in today's NFL. That's not what you want your brand to be right now. Not in today's NFL, but don't tell Greg that don't tell Greg three Gs one loss inch that because that dude took the Mike yesterday. And as I mentioned he threw down a virtuoso performance. I'm not sure I have ever seen so much confidence in one dude period. You almost have to respect it. No qualification, this is confidence and swagger personified an absolute power performance. Nobody anywhere is happier to be who they are. Then Greg three Gs and one loss in his he sat down behind that. Mike at oppressor. And that's almost always awkward, right? The guy who brought you in is out you take his gig. And it's always awkward this, dude. However was not in any way awkward or embarrassed. There was nothing weird about it for him. My man may as well if kicked up his feet lit up, a stogie and just said shoot hit me. What do you got whatever you want? I watched all twenty glorious minutes. So you don't have to. But you see get a taste listen to this, dude. Listen to the way, he. It opens up that sash never dull moment in the National Football League. And when you've been in as long as I have been in it. It's not the first time I've been through something like this. Okay. And it is what it is. Step one, charm, and disarm crackle. Lukewarm joke. Remind everybody that you've been there you've done that. And then hit the wrong the room with one of the all-time, great lines of nonsense. It is what it is. It is what it is. Now, I hate that line. I hate that line. I remember the first time I heard that line. It is what it is. And I remember thinking that's pretty interesting. Actually, it is what it is. And then I heard that line every single day five hundred times a day for the past fifteen years. Now, there's no line that I hate more than that lines. It is it is what it is. It is what it is. It is what it is in retrospect, it really makes no sense at all. But after hearing trip Wajih drop it from the opening salvo. I know it's not going anywhere. I literally can't conduct an interview with anybody anymore without somebody saying at least once so if you can't beat them you might as well join them, I've got it. Locked and loaded for this weekend. The Rome family adventure in Wisconsin. If Jake or lobes hits me with any kind of blowback this weekend. I'm going to bust them up with it is what it is. It is it is what it is. Demo man settles in and then he gets really comfortable. He gives you nice little bit credit pays Todd. Haley, a nice compliment something that hard knocks cameras never ever found or caught. And then he started name dropping like a boss like Bill Belichick. Couldn't wait get that name out. Another very close friend of mine in the league is Bill Belichick times. You've ever heard him say that do your job. Okay. It's about all of us. Everybody in this building doing our.

"I'm also a slither claw and the puck Wajih. I love listening to your podcast while I stay up late playing video games. Would you rather get caught in a duel with Darth Vader or in a duel with voldemort also, how do you think the different Hogwarts houses would clean their room? Oh, my God, yes. Okay. Okay. Guy. I do a Darth Vader or do of voldemort. Right. So I'm wondering this Dr lightsaber or want. I'm guessing that we're labor wars. Yeah. Yes, I think we're doing with Bater like lightsaber on lightsaber or like on one right. Oh, with like Baltimore. You know what I mean? I feel like. Because he'd be like strategies lists with a lightsaber of you were good, I want. Okay. If I was good. I mean, I well like you'd be useless of the law unless you knew how to use it. The suspect though in my brain, I feel like in this situation, we would know like basic wand and lightsaber. You know, the new vers like we would know how to deal with just like we wouldn't be amazing at it or anything. But I think I'd rather get hit with the vodka cadavre than stabbed with lightsaber. Dorothy is not that Moore. He's good at force with a lightsaber. He's actually not that good. I mean in the movies, it's probably because you can't see anything. But like I would rather do Darth Vader than dual like Darth maul. Well, yeah, like, nah, so. But still I feel like he would just force choke me and I'd be dead mortgages Vanek Dover and I'd be Dino, but expelling Armus works on everything. If Harry taught us anything, it's expelling can get you out of almost anything. True. So you think just going after Baltimore and just y'all way out? Yeah. All right. All right. Thanks. Sure. You're surrounded by people. You love. Yeah, yeah. Okay. I guess Baltimore. And then how do we think the different Hogwarts houses would clean the room. I feel like a Raymond Klaus would never be messy. Well, it depends what kind of raining law day search through one speck. One side of the raven cross spectrum would be very neat in the other side would be very messy, but they would know where everything is. Interesting. That's so true, but how would they clean it? Would they be methodical about cleaning it, or would they? Yeah. It'd be organized as far as like section for section for relaxing section for close section, lay close organized as like, oh, take dubs colors, whatever, right, warm clothes. Cold close, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. And then what about like a slur in?.
