Oh, they loved being a marine. Oh, she was terrific. Oh, he was great. You're starting to learn from About where they all come from one of them. Came from The Indianapolis area. We will do it. We will gladly do it. Just tell us what it is that you need. These people. These these people are worth remembering. I mean, when we talk about that Jacob Blake story. It's one of the reasons why I'm not gonna let Some stories pretend like they they're they're big in in in our lives. I'm not going to have a story or I'm not going to share a story or world where I have to idolize Jacob Blake. Who resisted police officers and won't listen to commands in Kenosha, Wisconsin. And then got shot and somehow forget the name of Berta Sanchez. Forget any of these people. Meanwhile, you've seen in your social media feeds. There have been a lot of bars, a lot of restaurants, a lot of people. Who have, uh Set the tables. They've set the table with 13 drinks. 13 beers 13 shots 13. What? What? What? What? Whatever. As a way of remembering those Who got killed. It's not It is not just some kind of of Wow, This will look good on social media. It's it's different. It is connection. I don't think you necessarily have to post the things on social media. But it is connection. It is about trying your best to remember. There's a value to that. An important value to that and one that should not be discarded. It's funny. I'm going to get vilified for recognizing the facts about Jacob Blake and I'll get marked for thinking that it's Lovely worthy to remember 13 U. S. Marines that that's the.

"Start packing WSB consumer expert Clark Howard. It's weird because here in Georgia we have what's going to be the most expensive electricity ever generated in the United States at the boondoggle called Plant, Vogel. And at the same time we have some of the cheapest power in the United States coming from solar. I saw a profile recently in The Wall Street Journal that Georgia is kind of unique that there is no mandate for salt where no subsidies for solar no incentives for soul work. And in fact, so where is being installed here? One of the fastest rates in the world because it's the cheapest source of power that exists now solar paired with batteries. "WSB Atlanta's news and talk Here's West and WSB money matters. Good morning. Welcome back to money matters here. It is Sunday morning, and we've been talking housing housing in every way, shape or form here today, the housing market What we can be thinking about over the next several years. I think the takeaway is that it's pretty tough to see housing prices go down a lot over the next couple of years. If you want to protect yourself against Inflation. And you're worried about a product inflating owned the companies that make the products that inflate as an example. If you're worried about Hamburg inflation, what do you do You buy a hamburger company or you own that. If you want to worry about oil prices going up, you buy your own oil companies or oil oil producers, so that is and there's very few things that we can find in the world that are better hedge against inflation. When it comes to stock the same thing with housing. If you worry about housing prices go up in my opinion, now is not the time to be selling a house to go rent to wait for a housing correction. Just too many fundamental tail winds that are pointing towards higher housing prices. I do not think we're going to see another housing surge in prices like we just saw were at a 14% year over year. Rise in housing prices around the United States in aggregate. That means some places are in the 7 to 10 range in some places are in the 20 to 30% range, all within a year. It's the most. That's the biggest jump. For the housing industry we've seen since Case Shiller has been keeping track who's since the 19 eighties. The biggest outsized move we've ever seen. I don't think you're going to see it again. I think we see We get back to what we would we would think of as a more normal housing environment, which is a nice hedge against inflation. On average, over time, housing grows around 2% above inflations of inflation's to not not strange to see housing rise at about four Total. Inflation at one non incumbency housing rights total of three And where we are in this world today, Inflation is probably going to be a little higher than we've seen over the past decade because there's so much money sloshing around the economic system. But take the big macro trends of of under supply of homes. Five million to six million homes shy of where we should be for equilibrium. We have worked from home. We will now go from 7% that went to 70% now back to trying to find that's during Covid in the lockdowns. Now we're gonna get back to a more moving forward. Here's what most companies are going to do and most companies Are going to be some sort of hybrid. I think the Google model is a really good way to think of around what most companies are going to do. And this is in most industries, The 2016 2020% totally in the office. 20% totally from home. The other 60% of America will probably be on some sort of hybrid schedule where you're in the office 2 to 3 days a week and you work from home.
