Dick Morris, Political Pundit Extraordinaire, on the Return of Trump

"Made promises kept. I told you that dick Morris would be in the studio and look, here he is, dick, welcome. Thank you. Honestly, I'm thrilled to see you in person just because it's been a while, not just with COVID. You've had health issues, your Wi-Fi lean has had serious health issues. So it's been a while, and it's good to see you. Yeah. Which for a pundit is near death. And I covered had radiation. And I decided when I was sick that getting Trump reelected was going to be my mission. Now, that's interesting because I mean, I've heard you talk about this. He talked about it a little bit on the air with us. I don't know, a week or so ago, but I'm convinced and you're convinced that there is no one but Donald Trump who will be the GOP nominee and no one but Trump who can win. He must win. But you have a much closer view of things. So what is your view of the thought? Well, two levels here are first that Trump should win. He's the only candidate who has incredibly valuable thing. Which is tactically when you're in a campaign. And you represent the challenge against the incumbent. It all goes easy in the first round. When you say this is the wrong, that's wrong, that's wrong. That's the other. Especially the plethora of targets we have with Joe Biden. But then the other side comes back at you, says, how do you think you can do any better? I mean, I know this inflation, but how can you stop it? I know there are high gas prices, but what are you going to do about it? I know the boy is open, but this era border is porous. And the Democrats use pessimism as a disguise for their failure. They say we couldn't nobody could do any better. Right. And what Trump can say is four words that nobody else can say. I did it already.

Biden Administration Cancels $5.8 Billion in Student Loan Debt

"Ladies and gentlemen, you're listening to my guests, Adam kissel, visitor, visiting fellow on higher education reform at the heritage foundation. We're here to discuss the debt forgiveness that Joe Biden has done for the Corinthian colleges. And I was reading in an article with the Corinthian college became one of the most prominent examples of bad behavior. One of the things that they said allegedly are allegations of illegal recruiting tactics, shady education programs and false promises to students about their career prospects and their potential future earnings. Is this a conflict of interest specifically that Joe Biden is forgiving the debt and loans from a university that appears to have been participating in alleged fraudulent behavior and really they've done these kids wrong in many cases. It's Joe Biden putting himself in danger of a conflict of interest here. Well, the Biden administration, just like the Obama administration, has a problem with profit. So they've been going after for profit universities. And not holding nonprofits to the same standards. And in many cases, if you look at the outcomes for nonprofit college student graduates, they're just as bad or worse than as the for profit colleges. Colleague of mine at the Texas public policy foundation has proved that in a number of studies. So the conflict for Biden and earlier for Obama was discriminating against profit and the challenge for Corinthian colleges, which no longer exists, is that they did double cross many of their students and give bad information. So those students should be made whole. And the hard question is, should they be made whole by having their whole student debt forgiven for just the part that really was related to fraudulent? Or other bad actor kinds of activities.

Why Student Loan Forgiveness Is a Big Mistake

"So Adam, Joe Biden, I think this is a pledge. I don't know if it's official, but it's a place that he's going to forgive $5.8 billion in student loan debt, owed by about 560,000 borrowers who attend Corinthian colleges, one of the nation's biggest for profit college chain before collapsed in 2015. Can you give the audience a perspective here? Because when I see these numbers, I say, well hey, what's wrong with inherently wrong with forgiving student loans for people who have worked hard, but can you explain, is this an issue or is this a positive thing coming from the Biden administration? Well, the Biden administration knows that it can't forgive student loans, except in some really narrow areas. So it's been looking for some ways to forgive student loans in those narrow areas and still say that they're doing something. So if you worked hard and you paid off your student loan, then you look at the people who are getting loan forgiveness and you're saying, well, I guess I'm a sucker because I paid my loan off and here's somebody else who didn't work. And they haven't paid and they're going to get $10,000 off or maybe they're hold on forgiven. So it's a real problem for people who are the majority who have been working hard and paying off their loans.

Why Law Enforcement Is the Best Gun Control

"What legislative action can we take to curb gun violence? I do not, I can not think of a single law that's not already on the books that will prevent gun deaths. And mass shootings, whether it's with a rifle or a handgun. I can think of the application of laws that are already on the books, meaning that how do we get illegal guns off of the streets because they're already illegal. That's not a new law that we need to create guns that are not purchased serial number, whatever the case may be, that's not tracked, that come from Mexico are stolen from people are already illegal firearms. You know, if I was a bit man, I'd bet it involved some guns and other stuff that would have probably resulted in the shooting. And as his family is laying him to rest at the cemetery, there is a gunman that apparently gets out. I don't know if he's shows up on foot or gets out of a vehicle, and he begins opening opening fire on the people there at the funeral site.

Comparing the Police Response of the Tulsa and Uvalde Shootings

"How people don't know this because many people spend a lot of time saying that they were just sitting in the hallway tilling their thumbs playing on their phones for 40 minutes while kids were getting slaughtered. However, according to the documents, it took them four minutes from the time of the shooting for them to arrive and pursue him into the classroom where he barricaded himself. Now, if you look at the times, it took a police 9 minutes and it took the police and you already about four minutes to respond after the shooting had started. Now, the reason there's no comparison because you've Aldi is a city of 16,000 people and they probably roughly only had about 7 officers at a time on duty per shift. And that's not a lot of police officers. You compared the Tulsa Oklahoma police officers. They're managing 400,000 people and they have over 700 plus officers who are on their police department. So you're talking about a department. If you look at the Yuval, the unified school district, they have 6 police officers. And you go look at the Tulsa police department. They have 700 police officers.

We didn't have a lot of the information, but if I was a betting man, I'm going to bet you guys that we're not going to hear much about this shooting for much longer. Why is that, mister Tatum? Because the shooter, according to The Associated Press, according to daily wire, the shooter was a black man. And y'all all know black men can do no wrong. And if somehow the police would have shot this man, even after he'd been in the act of shooting, they would have cried racism in Tulsa. And you can always find me. How can we ever hide if we attach ourselves to these little machines that are hell bent on finding us? In the early days of the pandemic, I had this thought that I wanted to be alone for a little while. But I was already very, very, very alone. My husband was working in another state, and my dog and cat and I just made the same small circles around our House for months. Still, I could never really hide. No matter how hard I tried, the Internet was with me. The doom scrolling, the barrage of news, the world on fire. For a few days we went to a cabin in Kentucky, with a porch that looked out over the poplar covered hills and a fireplace around which we'd play cards and Scrabble. The best thing about this place is that it didn't have the Internet. I told my parents, am I good friend, who was watching our dog, the number of the main house, in case something went awry. But otherwise, there was no scrolling or checking in or ASAP, or even looking up, what are the rules to Jin rummy anyway? And let me tell you, it was fantastic. It was as if there was a switch in my brain that is always on, always making a humming like a refrigerator working too hard, and suddenly I just turned it off. Everything sounded clearer, tasted better, looked more vibrant. Listen, I am not against the Internet. But it felt so good to really hide. The kind of hiding that makes you find yourself again. Today's poem ponders what it is to be without the Internet, and what it means to not have access to the constant buzz of the world. What comes is a reminder of what sacred. Kevin McCullough on the Nuances of Unrest in Kenosha, WI

"Today right now is Kevin McCullough. He's talking about the Kyle whitton written house written house verdict that just came in just about an hour or so ago. And let's continue on with that with Kevin McCallum. Kevin? Well, we were talking before the break a little bit about the dynamic. I think the media really missed on this because when you're talking about police violence in New York or Chicago or Detroit, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, LA, you're talking about a very different dynamic than you are in Kenosha Wisconsin. I've been to Kenosha Wisconsin, a bunch of times. It is a college town. You have the big university of Wisconsin there. You have the it is in essence. It is a city technically, but it is in the middle of farmland. And you don't have people just rolling up to go protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin on a regular basis. There's a very different sort of vibe and feel. And when people are saying, why would Kyle rittenhouse who didn't live in the exact neighborhood where this went down? Why would he come over there to do that? Well, in the Midwest, farmers have each other's back in small towns look out for one another, and so forth. And by the same standard, if you had these protesters bust in causing the perpetrated and very intentional chaos that they were trying to create, then why wouldn't people that were from the region also say, well, wait a minute, not in my house. I'm not going to let this go down. So I think the media fundamentally misunderstood the fabric of who they were covering and where it was from, but they also obviously got it quite wrong in that the prosecutors just did not have they didn't have much of a case. When you have one of the victims saying that he pointed a gun at the accused and has to admit that, you know, he had basically threatened him by pointing the gun at him. That's an immediate wash. I'm surprised that the judge didn't almost at that point throw that case out completely just on

Sebastian and Hans Von Spakovsky Discuss Old School Ballot Fraud

"So let's look specifically hands. At what happened last year. And I'm not a former election commissioner. I'm not a lawyer, you served in the DOJ correct. There's a lot of so here's my layman's take and you tell me if it resonates. Conservatives are concerned. Justifiably aged because the incumbent president received more votes than any other incumbent president in history. And in four battleground states, the vote count was halted, and then the results reversed when the vote count was started again. So at least there are questions in four battleground states. For all the theories that have been developed since then, there are various baskets of theories. Some, rather ones, such as data farms in Germany, Venezuela, dominion, voting machines, memory sticks, algorithms, Wi-Fi access to electronic systems. My argument is a very simple one. If you know that the vote reversal occurred in places like Philadelphia in Atlanta, these are places that have, in some cases, Chicago, decades long history of fraught elections. And old school fraud is perhaps where we should start. The idea that ballot stuffing, filling out election ballots for people who aren't actually the person on the ballot. Does it make sense if you're looking to address these issues to follow the kiss principle and to stay with the keep it simple and start with that which we know, I mean, it's a joke, Philadelphia Chicago. These are box of jokes for decades. Before we get to these ideas of computers and algorithms, we have a lot of work to do with just very prosaic, do we not? Yeah, no, no, you've analyzed it exactly right. If you want to look at problems, the elections, you look at the ways elections have been stolen in the past. Right. And for those who think that doesn't still happen. I mean, look, you mentioned ballot stuffing, right? Okay, just a couple of weeks ago. And this didn't get this got almost no media attention. It was the media that is like covering this. Just a couple of weeks ago, a former election official in Philadelphia, who was actually a staffer for a member of the city council and who was responsible for running at least three polling places in Philly. She was indicted by the acting U.S. attorney for stuffing ballot boxes in her three precincts with bogus votes. It's an old school fraud. Yes, and for those who think that was isolated, no, last year in May also in Philadelphia, another election official was charged with exactly the same

"Hello hello, Terry here. I've got a fun tip for you today. If you've ever wondered if you can control your Wi-Fi access to a particular device or for a particular person in your home just by voice, it is totally possible. There's a couple of steps that you have to go through to set this up. But I think it's worthwhile doing it only takes a minute or two. What you do is you go into your Lexi app you click on the devices icon. You'll see that it's the second icon to the right on your app. Then you're going to see along the top Wi-Fi access. You click on that. And now you ask Lexie to find your Wi-Fi devices. This can take it says up to 45 seconds. But then it basically walks you through the steps. Now here's the cool thing. It's going to find all of your devices that are on your Wi-Fi network. You can then select any of those devices that you want to be able to control my voice. And then you select continue. And again, it's going to walk you through a couple more steps. You're going to have the option of actually setting up groups. So for example, let's say you've got a son or a daughter. You can choose the Wi-Fi devices that you want to be able to allow access or disallow access and put them in a group under your child's name. So then later on, you can just simply say to Lexi, enable Wi-Fi access for your child's name or pause the Wi-Fi access. So it's pretty cool. The other thing that you can do once you've set this up is then you can bring those Wi-Fi permission levels into your routine. So for example, you can create a routine that says dinnertime and it turns off the Wi-Fi. And so then you have a family dinner without any screens. So there's lots that you can do here. I think it's great. And you can set this all up again through the Lexi app. So try it out. Tell me if you come up with some interesting use cases for this because I'd love to hear those just hit me up on Twitter, doctor Terry Fisher, DR TRI, FIS HER. All right, have a great day. Talk to you tomorrow..

The cozy gatherings. But less stressed the concession lines where there had been concerns about the life of workers being able to pour enough beer and serve food fast enough. The rapper played to a largely empty amphitheater the night before. So what we think who got down there brain? Did you make it down to the big gig? I was down there Friday afternoon Work and doing our afternoon shows on ESPN Milwaukee. So I was there until about six or 6 30 Thursday like we talked about on Thursday morning, or I guess it was Friday morning. I was surprised with how sparse the crowd was. I was expecting more people to be there on the opening day and opening afternoon. But I thought Friday would bring more people. And as I was walking out Friday at six or 6 30 into a holiday weekend, I was once again surprised with how few people were down there, and you just backed it up by talking about the amphitheater shows Chance the rapper down there. There was a fair amount of people like people went to go see the concerts. Um, but I'll be here is to see if it was just a one weekend anomaly because of Labor Day in high school football, and that kind of thing or if this weekend brings bigger crowds. Rachel. I know you were down there yet. One Saturday was there from about one o'clock to eight o'clock. And it was one of those free days from 12 to 3. So we got down there a little bit earlier than we needed to before two o'clock band thinking, Oh, there might be a little bit of a line to get in. It was our first time kind of, you know, happiness show the vaccine card and stuff like that. But literally got right in no line for food. No line for anything. Um, it was kind of one of those drizzly days on Saturday. I don't know if that kind of played a role, but I had to kind of main takeaways. One of them was it just didn't feel right. Not being like 100 degrees and sweating, you know, from every part of your body like it just didn't feel like the proper summer fast. But number two. I don't know if it's just because I don't remember from, like, two years ago how Summerfest used to be, but so we had abandoned to an abandoned six and we figure you know, in between. You have to show proof of vaccination or proof of negative kovic test within the last few days. There's some gray area for sure on a lot of these things. I suppose so. Now what we're about to transition to like universities. It's an interesting gray area too. Because a lot of them are are private some of them public right and a lot of colleges are requiring vaccines or same kind of thing cova tests well quinnipiac university. We use their polls all the time. Last quinnipiac poll. They've announced this is. This is their way of getting everybody vaccinated without saying you have to get vaccinated if you haven't gotten a vaccine and you're enrolled and quinnipiac university. You'll now have to pay a fine and you'll also lose your wifi privileges. What which let's be real. Let's be frank. You take wi fi away from a college student taking the college student out of college. There's no way to college student. Have a life right so it is. It is next to malta. It's impossible to tell you solid work nowadays. Of course. I mean you know this. This only apply pertains to on campus wifi shar. Yeah and even then you still got your four g connection or you know you can you can. It's just kind of a pain in the neck. But i'll tell you something that was amusing to me a couple of days ago at home i lost lost wifi in the house. Yeah for a while. And i thought what the hell am i supposed to do that. I can't watch tv. And i can't. I can't use my computer for anything other than just writing. I guess i've calmed down about a lot of things over the years but that is one. I will never calm down when the wi fi goes out or technology screws up in the house. I i see red. I get livid. I like this. Should this note. This is not okay. So if i was a student at quinnipiac and i was if i didn't want to get the vaccine and they said i'm taking away your wi fi. I'm finding a new college immediately. Well not only taken away your wifi but you can be fine up to two thousand two hundred seventy five dollars. That's crazy. yeah. I guess that's their right do that. But it's a bold strategy you can't. You can't even on campus. You can challenges. Tuition for students at quinnipiac is forty six thousand six hundred eighty dollars for the first year for first year students And that You know that includes wifi access to wifi. I wonder how they do this. Like how do you do. You have to like upload your card to get on the vaccine the wi fi network. I wonder how they are able to like you have to type. Oh i guess you have to type in your student. Id on college campuses to get on. You have to type in whatever your ideas. And i guess they're vaccine in phobe tied to that right. Yeah so let's just get gives me as a matter of fact. The university has just reported that some six hundred students missed the deadline to upload their vaccination information. Six hundred students are about to fail all their class. Or the you're talking about people who who don't know how to buy a postage stamp. I'm not i'm not. I'm not making a joke here. We that as a story several months ago. And i were talking about. There is a case of people in college who are being asked to. You know mail things and they had no idea how to go about it or where to find a stamp. I every time. I have to mail something at the post office. I'll admit i'm kind of confused. I know how to buy postage stamp. But i always have to ask the person now. Do i have to do this to give this to you the way i always a million unnecessary questions. So if you ever marry somebody who gets into ebay you'll you'll figure it out very quickly. Spend half your life there all right. Let's talk about brett farve quarterback brett farve is leading this effort right now to make sure you're careful what your kids do if they play football kids because of cte concussions and all that basically promoting the message do your research be careful you know. He says oh. Let kids play. Tackle football tiller fourteen right so about two minutes into an interview. He did with cnn and he's got former pro wrestler with them. Who's leading this concussion research. And it's the two of them. And cnn's kate bolden and well. After two minutes they get into vaccine talk and she starts asking him about covert vaccines. Why don't you say more. Nfl players have gotten it. And this is what far said. Well there's a great deal of uncertainty. You hear one thing one day. Your supplement totally different. The next and this is from experts experts on both sides of the argument and the vaccines that have been administered within the last what six eight months bingo through twenty or thirty years human trial study. Fda requires them so we're sort of the human trials so so he's not. He's not prepared for this line of thinking questioning. He's not prepared to answer. So what he's doing is just you know. He's just riffing off of the stuff that he said and the things that he's heard people say right. Which is what happens with social media and it's been a major problem but at any rate he wasn't ready for that no and she was kind of taken aback by the cnn host. She was not happy and she was. Well hold on a second. I'm not really way. What did you just say brett farve which he has every right to feel that way and the second clip is her reaction in conflicting info. That were all getting. But they're the but there isn't really conflicting info that the vaccine is safe effective in needed and apart as a public health matter. I mean would you urge your current players to be getting a vaccine. I mean have you been vaccinated. Say one way or the other. But i think it's it's not my place to say into vaccine or don't get vaccine. I think as a matter of choice by all individuals. And that's why we live in america so those are the only two things he had to say about it and she tried pushing them again. I mean she would not let go. And then the next time that the his partner christner linski jumped in an answer form and he was like well his stance kind of brings us back to concussions. About how parents to make a choice and like he did. We're here anyway. He he did a great job of twisting back to the concussion conversation and you can just see on brett farve. 's face he's just like.

Permission to Doubt: Has God Failed You With Author Michal Brown

"I want to keep talking about this book. Has god failed. You a lotta time. You hear people a lot of times. You hear people say things like that that they just turned off. something happened. And it's heartbreaking. Because you realize that i realized that god really is your answer and it just breaks my heart that people have had these experiences that pushed them away from the very source. That would help them. So what do we say to people. When in your book has got failed you what do you say. I have a chapter called permission to doubt which is based on a verse in jude that never hear preached on have mercy on those who doubt saying. It's okay to come with your questions. It's okay to be honest. I wrote a whole commentary on job. And i still some of the wisdom from that what we learned from job. How job challenged god. But he challenged because he was a man of faith any felt. It's not supposed to be like this. And what we lay out in the book is the concerns the burdens you have got agrees with many of them. You're writing feelings. What god himself is grieved over these things which leads to the questionable wisely act immediately wasn't it wasn't bring about change really so we we unpack that in the book we go through. Wi prayers can be unanswered. But what god can be doing through it and how we can know the truth of god in the midst of it. We go through some of our wrong sociology. Sometimes it's that. God fail this but we had a wrong siale aji a superficial theology of just push button and everything goes well. Now that you're a believer just pray and every prayers answered and prosper. Sometimes it's a wrong theology that sets us up for disappointment so we address that in the book deal with the problem of evil. And how do we sort that out. How can you be so much evil and pain and suffering in the world of all good all knowing all powerful god created the world deal with those issues and then the objections to the god of the bible that he's genocidal that he's misogynistic that he's he's megan maniac that he's bigoted and transphobic and homophobic. What about the god of the bible. We tackle all the questions. And here's the thing is it's been almost fifty years in the lord. The end of this year will be fifty years that these are questions people ask and you think about it you gotta work discovered hate gays has got one oppress women. How do we sort this out. The amazing thing is the dp you get. The more you find answers on their goal ultimately is to get people to look at the

"You go okay. Well that was some time ago. We're just hearing about it. But the fact that wi fi standards constantly being upgraded over the years updated and upgraded and and yet there are still vulnerabilities that have been there all along. I just took you know either not that nobody else has ever known about them. Before but but surprisingly this stuff was was was new to a lot of companies because they weren't taking advantage of in any meaningful way. Yeah it's a good reminder how to think about security security is a constant defense trying to minimize your risk as close to zero as possible but you never get zero. It's always a race and win there is a vulnerability. It's tempting to think like. Well somebody should have caught. That but vulnerabilities are discovered by people. Trying to figure out how to break something and you don't know they're gonna exist until somebody's tried hard enough and been ingenious enough to figure it out. This this vulnerability could have been discovered in one thousand nine hundred seven. But i think the key point is no one ever did until van. Hove did and so. It wasn't likely to be used. It's also really difficult to implement. And and all of that but this is a great story because it shows that like even something this obscure and hard to figure out is getting discovered by someone who wants to protect us before somebody could have misused it. Yeah we're blows me away sir. My daughter was born that year and we still haven't found the proper patch for her. So which is like everybody. "Ip camera number one And they have to be what was called n v i f which is like a an open source spec if you like so busy to talk to a lot this tv camera software so the first one arrived camera. Victoria plugged in managed to get it going again. It just wouldn't hang on to the connection even when it was next door to a a wired wi fi disc. Just just wouldn't have it at all so i'm thinking he's got to be switch. Start thinking well you know maybe the cameras that crap to the cheat chinese. Let me down at the same time because the subsoil reason why the going through this. And that's why it's only the raspberry pi one. That's working all the other ones. Speak to china. I and they've changed something. That must be unreliable that they hack my firm where you know you sort of go through all the different reasons. Perhaps why something isn't working anymore. And it's been working for ages and ages and ages. I even ordered a ring camera so did a research thinking. Well what if replaced mma cameras. Tomorrow what would go for an initially convinced myself to go down the ring cameroon. So these are dead easy to set up. Bit like your doorbell. You can get wild swans. I mean what has no power. They runoff rechargeable batteries. A wild ones and that would be looking at the quality mc doorbell. That was still running right for a couple of computers. Were starting to play a little bit as well as i was thinking. It's going to be the switch. Anyway explode ring and i ordered one and then decided against it because of the pay than ip cameras number one. So we'll be using my great maxa for anymore. dependence on the ring so of infrastructure. And you have to pay Two pound fifty a camera month to accessory archive video great The i started looking at other brands..

Two pound Tomorrow fifty china first one chinese maxa raspberry pi one Victoria couple of computers camera n v i f one

"May need to reboot reboot a camera. Here and there Occasionally that remotely using the wifi plugs or if it is online but not quite so over latched into the right wi fi disk and that's one of the faults. I think with the system. Unfortunately you can't make a device. Always linked to a specific hot spot a mesh spot which. I think you can do with couple of other brands. but i've tried The teepee link system was linked system and google wifi system. And they all started doing strange things with my network. I wanted to create except networks and the good thing about they system is. I've always used the same society from a wifi. And now that's a really good tip for anyone if you setting up wifi so of network system even if you change your router always call it the name the original name of your a society and the same password that means you've got more things than you remember that uses that wifi security details and it saves you having to reset the mole. Basically so i've got. I've got ms society that goes back ten years And the password password but it's it's it's password abuse forever so good thing that the beast is to much you just plug it in of could actually using ethernet five or come back to that because we've got. We're lucky enough to have ethan at ports around the house. So that uses the Ethan at pacho cool it so that keeps signal the wi fi signal network signal between the disc really strong. They broadcast the same. Ssd and password all the devices in the house. And if you've got an iphone for example in europe stairs that will use the upstairs one and then it's clever enough to hand over to another disk Realizes that a sickness week. So it's really good for that. I recommend cheap nowadays as well And in fact. I had an inquiry from a relative. He wants to run an extension to a a summer house So we had to eat net going to the summer house Wants to know how to run into the root or whatever and i say for just disc disk is a bt customers that happen so the sending him one and that's the best way to extend your system keeps bit in the same on the same. at which. I think if you go gaming consoles that helps as well. I never really understood double nato and all that rubbish so an older consoles work fine with the existing system anyway long story short not quite short its way from being over.

europe iphone ten years google couple one ethan other brands faults double nato five

"I'm not sure what they're gonna get our hacking the view of the camera onto my drive from someone in in shenzhen or moscow. Whatever that can have a good look a little little bush macara part in the drive going nowhere. I'm not sure it'll get a lot out. That lee inside of the garish to see whether the carries door is open all the view of the back garden over the bird. Bath all the box itself. Actually which which. The poor bird has been coming in every single morning but not actually done anything yet in the key cabinet. Good luck rammed and pretty quiet. Please stem duties been extended but they haven't really decided to make an s jet super matteo. Nice cup of tea with this morning to aid my vocal chords anyway. So isa the v. Star cam cameras dotted around the outside the house and they're all ip cameras best. That's why i've chosen them. Because that means they knew couldn't Basically stream the individually through their own software or in my case are used superb. A program call security spy which is a makoni program uncle given An evaluation copy many years ago by ben who's the The owner of the company. And i've actually paid the to upgrade since then it's not cheap others. It was about eighty pounds and upgrade. Because it's a professional almost professional waste professional so over c cameras solution So sort of collapse older. The camera feeds from elise cici tv cameras and a license now for up to eight some running six at the moment including the bird bucks come through it and then you can tell it to detect motion an overrule wherever the cameras. Software says you can save the day to direct to a hard drive or sinology thing in my case. All local mac mini wherever. You're running on mac. Only that restress that You do all sorts of things you apps. You've got an ipad app. An ipod ipod up. So you can access your cameras remotely accessing remotely through. You'll mac as well which is great and it's fantastic rindge really well but for whatever reason all the sudden these cameras decided to not. Don't talk to me anymore. Soap folk finding out on here. So you know of a good route took an egg seuss Modern is now good router. But i don't tend to use the wi fi coming off that router. I've got five bt whole home wifi discs which is a mesh system. So that's been around for quite a while. And i found that actually to be after they are in doubt a few so of software and firmware issues has been absolutely touch. Wood solid. Really really strong for me. In terms of reliability in the old days and i had the bt system a couple of disks would freeze to reroute than Even wi fi plugs. For each one soccer just reboot. But i haven't run upstairs. And simone off-again right. Yeah so you been absolutely rock-solid recently only five discs through our house. The wifi has been pretty pretty good actually and that's helped. That always helps when you've got wifi cameras. The weakest link in any camera system is going to be the strength of your wi fi as is if you've got a doorbell camera Good wifi strong. Wifi link back to your your network and since i put in the bt discs. My cctv has been much much better moral every now and again. I'm talking. maybe once every three four five weeks..

mac mac mini five discs about eighty pounds each one ipad six many years ago five weeks ipod ipod ben once isa morning shenzhen single morning five to eight three Star

Good morning. What we promise There will be a time when we'll stop talking about Tom Brady. But in the wake of his seventh Super Bowl ring, well, seven Super Bowl win and age 43. Many of us continue to wonder how he continues to win rings. It's such an advanced football age. CNBC turned to Brady's 2017 book for answers and pulled out a few nuggets that could be helpful for the rest of us, especially when it comes to sleep. One is a strict sleep routine, with Brady saying Then he goes to bed by nine o'clock and wakes up at six for nine hours of sleep a night. No eating close to bedtime is one way Brady insures that he can sleep well, and he also avoids alcohol, though, as we saw it last week Super Bowl Boat Parade, the QB will certainly have a few in the warm Florida sun. "But I think that the caller is making a good point that is wi fi issue these new guidelines and directives various businesses very health care providers and others are going to have to address judge she chooses not to this new normal but routine testing in health care settings is going to be part of this norm and ensuring that health care providers now in patients now where and how they can get tested to protect themselves and to protect the health care the frontline healthcare providers as well there's also a detailed guidance in that directive around masking and social distancing in medical settings including induction dental clinics question from a listener named Nancy uses almost everywhere in San Francisco it's really hard to walk and maintain distancing with joggers runners and cyclists who often don't adhere to guidelines could we have designated areas and times and parks were only walkers are allowed no jogging cycling at center so that's certainly something that people would buy out I think it's important to realize that the risk of outside outdoor exposure over very precarious times from what we can tell now that the risk of a transmission is low if if that exposure is brief but certainly with our closing off certain streets to traffic so that people are able to exercise and get outside in a in a way that decreases crowding and as we go into this next stage we're certainly looking at other ways that people are able to recreation away that if season and maintains our social distancing as much as possible as well as looking at how how do you support more people I'm wearing a mask I'm not quite clear interventions that reduce transmission and remember if you're wearing a mask you're protecting other people I think there's that much to psychology where people think by rain after protecting themselves but by wearing a mask you are protecting others in case you are are are hi I translate attention Lee on exactly what the virus so we really want to encourage people to wear a mask as much as possible both indoors and outdoors thank you Rachael thanks with us again director San Francisco department of public health and Kenny joins us secondly you're on the air good morning but my question is is the virus in the air I think he answered the questions the virus in the air and if I'm walking outside and there's not a person around why wear a mask and a quick quick comment Michael thank you so much for the for the plague by Albert Camus it's informative and a great read but I do know about those the mask outside thanks yes so basically the the virus is transmitted in droplets so so if you're outside in by yourself and you know a distance away from other people it's very unlikely that you will transmit the virus I think the point is though in a dense environment like San Francisco it's hard to anticipate if you will always be alone I don't know about yeah value but I sometimes come around the corner or there's somebody who comes by unexpectedly who's not necessarily within keeping outside of that sixty parameter which we know is is key to reducing risk of transmission so I go walking even if I think I'm going to be by myself I I wear a mask and and encourage people to do so just so that you're not putting other people at risk and I think also the social norms that we need to develop into this new normal is that wear a mask because it's it's the right thing to do to protect to protect others and to protect your community question from a listener named Paul this is a professional commercial dog walking industry is wondering whether we are okay to what groups of dogs here can you answer this question we can't seem to get a straight answer thanks so so I think that that that that in terms of that the dog how did the health officers are are looking at this in in eighteen ninety intensive way it's not so much that the dog walking itself it's more around the interaction and engagement with other people so certainly we can get an answer to you back to you specifically about that question I don't have I can't speculate on that specific issue well let me have you answer a question coming from the surname is joining us from Berkeley ed you're on the air hi there I am concerned we are I mean there's no vaccine and he all right on the other the other a possibility for us not to be in the cloak situation anymore is for there to be heard in the news today and so what in this world is extremely bloody all right secretary here is how many sick people and dying people can we support an extremist in the hospital all right all right I'm just I'm just concerned that impatience which I think is supposed to get over with in your in your junior high years nine year being feeling cooped up and dealing with children and weighing your regard for life going to be on the back I mean every time you open it up you just have to realize future consigning a certain number of people to death and then we'll be all folks like myself I'm sorry if you if you're raising an important question I heard him unity and I'd like to hear these articles access to say about that particular in terms of numbers Michael thanks yeah so I think that is so so first of all herd immunity is been misused and and the discussions with with regard to this pandemic because when we talk about herd immunity hi warm warm well we've recently focused on is in his vaccine immunity vaccine induced herd immunity so I think we have to be very careful about thinking that there's any regional aspect by which herd immunity were developed at the end with.
