Well, the founding fathers, when they constructed the constitution and the Second Amendment's right to keep and bear arms, they read every single thing on the planet to give them guidance about how to best create a government that would not only govern effectively, but most importantly, it would protect the freedoms and individual rights of the American citizens because they are very concerned that they didn't want another king or some sovereign that would take away rights in the name of public safety or to just take over because of control. So the founding fathers codified the right to bear arms, which is a preexisting right. The Second Amendment, right, to keep embarrassed not create anything. You can see that right now, if you're watching some of the B roll from the border, Joe Biden is sending 1500 troops to the border to basically push paperwork. They're not allowed to interact with migrants, they're not allowed to do any of the actual work that you might associate with border patrol activities, they are just there, I guess, has a PR ploy, and they're being brought in from South Carolina all the way to El Paso, 1500 is not enough to do anything. If you might remember Texas had about 10,000 earlier, and again, 1500 is basically a PR move, nothing's going to happen.

"Three former police officers charged in the shooting death of a girl outside a football game in Pennsylvania have been sentenced, following an emotional hearing in Delaware county court, former Sharon hill, Pennsylvania officers Brian devaney, Devin Smith, and Sean Dolan will serve 5 years of probation the first 11 months on house arrest. They pled guilty to ten misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment in the death of 8 year old phantom ability, the victim's family accepted the defendant's apologies, staying behind in court for a few moments afterwards to hug the three men and wish them well, when shots rang out after a football game at academy park high school in August of 2021, deveining then a school resource officer says it was a split second decision to open fire, emptying 25 rounds at a car they mistakenly thought was involved. The DA initially charged the two black teens who had exchanged gunfire nearby with a child's death, but a grand jury investigation found the officers were at fault, although investigators could not determine which of the three fired the fatal round. Texas mass shooting suspect could be anywhere, sheriff says
"Police continue to search for the man accused of killing 5 of his Texas neighbors, the youngest 8 years old. San jacinto county sheriff Greg capers says the shooting happened Friday night after neighbors asked Francisco or apaza to stop firing in his yard. The victims, they came over to the fence, said, hey, do you mind not shooting out in the yard? We have a young baby that's trying to go to sleep. And he had been drinking, and he says, I'll do what I want to in my front yard. Police said FBI searching for the 38 year old, finding his clothes and bone, but tracking dogs losing the scent, agent James Smith. We consider him armed and dangerous. Don't Ban Crypto! The Case for Pro-Innovation Regulation
"Regular listeners will have heard me reference a number of times a recent essay in foreign affairs by professor Hilary Allen called the case for banning crypto. Hillary Allen is a Professor of law at American university and she has appeared numerous times in front of Congress as a congressional witness about the crypto industry. The point being that she's not some fly by night critic. She is a respected and legitimate voice in Washington, D.C.. Her argument is quite clear in this piece. It's that as the subtitle says, blockchain's risks far outweigh its rewards. I don't need to go through piece by piece or line by line. A few weeks ago, I read a couple of rebuttals. It is notable that she threw many of the arguments that crypto advocates have right back in their face, including the idea that America could lose leadership and push crypto companies overseas. Alan basically says we shouldn't want them here because this isn't an industry we should want to be a leader in. I don't think that the point of this piece was actually Hillary Allen thinking that she could get people to ban crypto. I think the point of this piece was to shift the overton window to include banning crypto as an option. If that's the case, it's obviously very important to have voices who are also respected in Washington. Bring the conversation back to a more middle ground. And for that, we turn to the blockchain association's Kristen Smith. Kristen is extremely sharp. You can go see her in my holiday interviews from last year, and she has just published a piece on coindesk called the case for regulating not banning crypto. Kristen writes, American university professor Hilary Allen, who recently wrote an article titled the case for banning crypto in the influential publication foreign affairs, is part of a very small cohort of, quote, crypto banners, working toward that end. In addition to engaging the media, Alan and her peers are pushing the argument that crypto does more harm than good while speaking with federal agencies. She is testifying before the congressional hearing on the future of digital assets on Thursday afternoon. The case for banning crypto is a pipe dream. It won't happen by Allen's own admission, blockchain is a general purpose database technology that supports a $1 trillion industry, employing thousands globally, nonetheless, the efforts to ban rather than regulate crypto have only backfired and harmed Americans.

A lot of the questions focused on whether the jurors could or would impose the death penalty if it came to that. "You would not know about Russia gate. If it weren't for my dear friend, John Solomon. You wouldn't know about so many other important matters, whistleblowers and the like because John Solomon has put foot to ask for journalism. John, welcome to the show. And thank you for doing this. This is wildly weird for me. I don't know what I'm doing, so we're gonna have. You look like a natural. You look like you're born? It's great. John, I know we were talking off air real quick. The front and center story for Congress right now seems to be the new whistleblower out of the IRS. And a lot of people haven't caught on to it because there's been so much other news sort of overlapping. Can you bring us up to speed? And I know you've done some wonderful reporting on just the news on it. Well, one of the encouraging things too is that this IRS whistleblower is getting seriously treated by the mainstream media. Everyone from CNN, New York Times AP you're covering it. That's been a rare moment for the mainstream media to cover anything about Hunter Biden. So it may signal a shift in the media's coverage as well. And it comes as there's a meeting yesterday between Hunter Biden's lawyers and the Justice Department to talk about an impending indictment or charges potentially. That's what we told. This whistleblower says that the career people made decisions last year, the FBI, the IRS agents working the case, the tax division of the Justice Department that charges were warranted. Tax charges were warranted to be filed against Hunter Biden. And then two political appointees of President Biden in U.S. attorney's offices stood in the way and blocked that indictment from occurring. And there's still the IRS agent was working through the system trying to change people's minds when he saw Merrick Garland go up and say no one is politically interfering senator grassy. In fact, U.S. attorney Weiss in Delaware can do this on his own. He's got all the authority and the agent said, that's not true.

"Smith Show News Talk. 7 60 W Jr. I've said it before I'll say it again. We? We try to stay out of the political influence on a medical situation. I've never experienced anything like it before. What's happened with covid, um and continues to happen. But we go to experts. We go to doctors. We go to our family Doctor, in a sense, although Dr Matthew Sims and I don't think we've ever met face to face, he's kind of like a family doctor for the program. He's the head of infectious disease research at Beaumont Hospital and Royal Oak. He's not running for anything, and I pretty much think you've promised us you have no interest in running for political office any time soon. Doctor Sims welcome back to the Paul W. Smith show. Thanks for having me again. And you have I have no interest in running for any kind of political office. You're right about that. Good. Hey, look who can blame the average American for being confused. We were told no masks what I was saying masks are a good idea, and I still believe it. We were told no masks. Then we were told masks and then where and when we should or shouldn't use him. We were then told boosters and then no booster and I can't help but Wonder if the influence of the worthless health organization also known as the World Health Organization, telling us that we as ugly Americans have no right to do what we think is best for Americans. When there were people in other countries around the world who haven't had access to the vaccine. How dare we take any necessary steps that they were necessary steps to further protect Americans now? So now that we have people stepping forward and saying that so fast with the booster, I don't think it's a good idea. I can't help to believe they might be influenced but by what the worthless health organization said, and maybe feeling a little guilty, God knows Americans have plenty of guilt. Uh, but I want to know what you say Dr Simms about a booster or not a booster now. Yeah. So you bring up a lot of very good point has made their their position on this very clear. They want to vaccinate the world and I don't disagree with that. They're right. We need to vaccinate the world because If we don't vaccinate an area, the spread will continue. Their new variants will emerge from there that may not the vaccines may not work as well on that spread faster that attack the unvaccinated population pastor that may attack the vaccinated population we have to control. This is a worldwide pandemic. We do have to control it across the world. Now, Here's the thing. They've made the argument that it's more important to vaccinate adults everywhere else, then kill kids in America, or it's more important to vaccinate people everywhere else then to give booster shots, So they did caveat it to say the people who don't respond well and might need a booster shot like immunized oppressed. They're okay with that. Now I get it. There. What they want to do is right. But to say, you know America don't do any. Don't protect your Children don't give booster shots if you think they're necessary. And just give it give the whole supply to the rest of the world. You know? I mean, I think it's a little um, you know, demanding of that America carry this instead of the entire world Carry this number one Um and America has donated a tremendous amount of vaccine to the rest of the world. Already the entire supply of AstraZeneca that America bought. They gave to the rest of the world where two proved because it hasn't been approved here yet and and more that's not always given I don't see the difficult Well, I mean, the problem is, you know we should be able to do both. They just need enough of the vaccine supply, and the companies are pumping it out as fast as they can. You know if there's Um, you know, there's there's more to this. The question really becomes do we need the booster now? And this article that came out in the Lancet that everybody started talking about the reason people where people are saying no booster yet? Well, they suggest that no, we don't need it now. Because the vaccines are working just fine. Now our numbers are going up in indexing nated people, So I don't know that we need the booster yet, Or do we need a Delta specific booster, which I've been arguing for for quite a while. Uh, you know where they've changed the sequence of the M one a little bit so that it gives you better immunity to Delta Specifically, um and I think over, you know, as variants emerged, that's the kind of thing we're going to need. But you know, it's I think that it's difficult to turn and say America don't vaccinate your kids and don't give boosters because we want it for the rest of the world. The other thing to consider is in some parts of the rest of the world. The infrastructure isn't there yet to give them some of these vaccines that we have access to go bad to the third world where there's no fruit, you know freezers to keep it. In fact where you don't have the people to go out and give the vaccine. Um that's you know another issue to consider that people seem to be ignoring Look, um this is just too obvious to me. It's the do gooders the field gooders Who say no, no, We've got to take care of the world. Let me tell you something. I wonder how they feel when when we point out the fact here. The fact is vaccinating. The world is happily self serving for us. Let's be realistic here. We're doing it so they don't hurt us more. So you're saying that we're doing something to help Americans in America? Time kick cannot be looked at as bad. Yeah, well, you know, it was interesting. Somebody I was talking to suggested that this is like when you're in a play, And then they tell you that if the oxygen mask go down, put your own oxygen mask on before you help somebody else, right? Hmm. That's a good analogy. You know, I agree. Adults are much more likely to get symptomatic disease and kids are But kids can are getting with Delta. Especially kids are getting sick. Um, and they act as a way to spread the disease. Um so You know, speaking as a parent, I'm happy that my oldest daughter has already been vaccinated and this waiting for the time they approve it for my youngest daughter, and I hope it's before she hits her 12th birthday, and she gets the approved age. Hmm. Well, I appreciate what you're saying. My only question I would have in this is for another conversation over a cigar and a scotch And I don't know if you smoke cigars or drink Scotch, but, uh, Scotch, But I do that to go. Okay? Of course not Your doctor. Anyway, Uh, making a Delta specific only makes me worried because that Latin alphabet is being used and there are other variants and then you'll have to have a specific for the next alphabet. Uh, you're right. I think that but I think that whenever you get a variant that seems to get through the vaccine, That's the indication that you need of that variance specific, so we didn't need it for Alpha. We didn't need it for beta. We didn't need it for gamma, but it looks like we might need it for Delta. But it's confusing because we have three things at play it once we have Delta going away. I'm afraid we have to go. So summit up. Sum it up, Doc. We're out of time. Real quick. Oh, sorry. Oh, and the third thing is, we may have waning immunity. Dr Matthew Simmons. And it's rare that I meet somebody who is really very good at what they do in one area, and then they have this little side thing They do that I had no idea about and that goes for our next guest in an Thomas Did you know? Did you? It seems to me when we talked about this. You were aware of the the photographic talents of Glenn Stevens has as he sent us pictures before. Did I miss it on Social media or what? I think you missed it on Social Media, Paul. He Is a fabulous photographer. I have been watching his work on Facebook and Instagram for a long time now, and I just cannot believe what a beautiful job he does. It's just wonderful it let me be of the many that congratulate you. Glenn Stevens Jr. Who to me? Has been a fine executive director of Mish Auto. You've heard us talk to him in that capacity, a number of times vice president automotive and mobility and that Glenn Stevens Jr. I had no idea you had this talent as well. Good morning, Glenn and congratulations on your new book Coffee table book called Michigan Street. Well, Good morning, Paul. And, yeah, I think it's pretty easy when you have such a beautiful world in a beautiful state around you to kind of capture it, So that's what I try to do, and You know, it's it's kind of a labor of love for me, so I I I've enjoyed it. Well, it is a labor of love, and I'll get into that in just a minute. But, yes, you're right in Michigan. We have some great to Some great scenery, but you have to have a very good I to capture it through the lens as you have, and it's and it's all from an inspiration that you had. From meeting a guy named Manny Dimes. Why don't you tell a little bit of that story? Well, sure, Paul, you know, I think like a lot of people when this tragedy of the pandemic hit, we had an opportunity and I took that opportunity. I'm not going to lie to you. It wasn't easy right out of the gate to grind to a halt with how busy of the lifestyle we live. Right, but I thought to myself, you know, what can I do? You know, how can I use this time and without the pandemic? I wouldn't have met Manny. I wouldn't have had this idea with some friends of mine to make this book and and Manny is battling ALS, and he's become a friend of mine. I met him about a year ago through church. And I said, You know what? I'm going to build this picture book and we're going to. We're going to donate all the proceeds of it. To raise money for a well wheelchair equipped minivan for Manny and his family, and that's what we've been working on. It's a lovely, lovely idea, and it's one of the one of the positives. We don't hear a lot of them, but there are some maybe even many positive stories. That we can draw from all of us having to I know Some people don't like to use the word because it's used a lot but pivot. Pivot to doing something else when we're not allowed to do the job that we love or the job we've been doing and and you certainly Glenn Stevens Jr have done that. With this book, but I I just had no idea that you had such talent. This is this isn't a book you buy because you want to help somebody out and raise money for Manny All that's fabulous. That's That's reason enough, But my point I want to make clearly is Uh, the Michigan Street. Volume one, which means they'll probably be others. This this This is a great coffee table book or even more so a great book to send a friends. Who might ask the question. Why do you live in Michigan? This would be the perfect answer for anyone who would have that kind of question. The beauty of these photographs, the breath of these photographs, just magnificent. Now with the thought in mind that we do want to help Manny and his his machine. Um is there a is that what's the best email address to go to? Would it be? And I think the most important thing in this world is If you keep your eyes open and you look forward and you look around. It's amazing what you see. And yes, I mean, capturing things a certain way. I actually spent all day yesterday on Mac and island. I took the day off. Kind of, you know, you're never on Untethered all the way from the electronic device, But I spent the whole day.

You are the canary in the coal Mine for America. You. You know what I mean? When I say that Well, that's very kind of you. But we got to figure out how to get out of this coal mine. I'll tell you that, Uh, we got to get people to listen to what you say, because what you say, makes great sense. And I am certain though. I don't have a copy yet, but we'll get it. I am certain that American Marxism follows in the path that you've established that you've warned us about for years. Well, I'm sorry you should have gotten and I will tell you this. I started thinking about this. I started this book 16 months ago. And it's time to start calling it what it is and stop playing games. They are not democratic socialist. They're not progressives. They are not social activists. Uh, these movements whether it's critical race theory or the DeGross movement, they call themselves the green new deal, which is a war on capitalism. The open borders, which is being preached in our universities and colleges under something called black crit. The attack on binary sex is with the transgression transgender movement being taught in elementary schools. I looked at the core of this who started these things. Things don't just happen. It's not just a coincidence. And in every single case, he goes back to Marxism. You look at critical race theory. The founders have it bragged about being Marxist. They're trying to change the propaganda. Now you see. Joy Reid was a complete fraud on MSNBC, she sang. Now this isn't Marxism. In bringing these, these fabulously wealthy authors who have written on the shoulders of this movement while preaching Marxism. They claim they're not First of all, they didn't invent this theory. Secondly, it is. Thirdly. They are among the most wealthy capitalists authors in the country and they make a fortune preaching the overthrow of our system. So if we want to keep our country I thought to myself. What can I do? You know, we only have limited abilities. Paul. What can I do Have my radio platform I've got Fox has got 11 TV. I've got to write on this because that is the most comprehensive way to address this and to make it bulletproof from the radical left in the media. The corrupt media will attack it regardless. But to convey it to our listeners exactly who's behind this the scholarship behind it. Then I provide my commentary explaining what it is and bringing up to the last chapter. And I say, Now, let's do something about it. We choose liberty. So there's 10,000 words. It's a long chapter. There's only seven chapters in this book. It's the longest book I've ever written. Nonetheless, where I lay out specific strategies and tactics in these various areas, look, they're not exclusive. People may have their own ideas, but Literally scores and scores them for how we can fight back because if we don't fight back Uh, we're going to lose our country. I say we're not looking into the abyss. Where in the abyss. We're trying to claw our way out there brainwashing our Children, for God's sakes. Right in elementary school right in front of our faces, and the unions are thumbing their nose and they're saying too bad. What are you going to do about it? We own these schools. These people work for us. It's about time we do something about it. It is absolutely about time. And this is a great opportunity for people to fully understand where Mark Levin is coming from in his new book that's available now just released. Uh, this month, like within the last couple of days, I think American Marxism is his latest as soon to be bestseller. He's had six or seven of them, and that's from the New York Times, which doesn't like him. It doesn't like anyone like him, but they are corrupt. They they will try and knock it off, You know, but I'll tell you what century you go to Amazon. How I'm the number one book, followed by To trump hating books. Followed by Jesse Waters and after him another trump hating books. So three of the top five books at amazon dot com. Trump hating books that have promoted all over our television networks that are promoted on all these other channels. Um they are. They are obsessed with trump. They hate the people who voted for Trump and I'm saying It's even worse than this. I'm saying that they've devoured our institutions, including the media..

"Smith Congressman John Molinar, representing the residents of this fine area, Michigan's fourth Congressional District, a member of the House Appropriations Committee. Welcome, man. Yes, to welcoming us to his district, And we appreciate that Congressman. Always a pleasure to have you on the Paul W. Smith show at WJR. Well, thank you, Paul W It's great to be with you. And thanks for coming to the Great Lakes Bay region, covering all this excitement. Well, we we did it last year. We'll do it every year were asked to come. Gym fit Erling of Dow doing such a great job and the people of Midland are so nice, so extra special when we met for dinner at grassy last night. I said to the team. They all got here before I did, But I walked in and I said, there's something special. About the people from Midland. You feel it? The moment you get here, you park your car and you walk because I did walk because they have some streets blocked off now to open it up to pedestrians and everybody's just very nice and comfortable. It belies the very tough time They all went through. We had flooding, but nothing like the flooding. That you experienced in Midland. And although the community has made tremendous progress in recovering from the flood last year, there's still more to do, Congressman. Well, there sure is, And as you point out, you know on top of the covid pandemic, the flooding, which occurred a year ago to major dam failures and record levels of flooding, it was Very traumatic, but really, a lot of heroes emerged in the community. The community really pulled together and got through the emergency, no serious injuries and is in the process of rebuilding a lot more. To do you know we've rebuilt bridges and roads and other areas, but A lot of homes, but still, you know, we have the dams that need to be fixed and want to have things back to normal. I suggested to the governor she runs for reelection. Her new saying could be fixed The dam dam's, but I don't think she's going to, uh, accept my my suggestion. But all kidding aside and you have to keep your sense of humor. We hear the president's throwing trillions of dollars in infrastructure. Do you hear of any of the money coming for Midland to fix the dams, the bridges the roads. Well, unfortunately, you know, infrastructure is something we should all be behind. You know, roads, bridges, airport runways, dams, some of this vital infrastructure. I would even include broadband Internet in that But when you start including all sorts of other political priorities, that really have nothing to do with infrastructure, it makes it very difficult to support a bill like that. And so it remains to be seen. You know how much discipline the by the administration will have it? Keeping the Democratic, you know initiatives out of that bill and focus on infrastructure, so we'll see. But I hope that we continue to help the region both in the state, the federal at the local level and do everything we can get back to normal and have this strong rebuilding and recovery. Well, here's hoping from your lips to God's ears. Um as somewhat it is somewhat out of control. But I'm just hoping that these very important infrastructure, real infrastructure problems, not a bridge to nowhere. But real infrastructure problems can be fixed. Happily, uh, spending a little time with US Congressman John Molinar, the Republican representing Michigan's fourth district that includes Midland, You remember Of the House Appropriations Committee, and and and you to the best of your abilities, determine federal spending for government departments and programs. What's going on this week in Congress? Well, Well this week. We have what's called markups, and that's when bills go from the subcommittee. Level to the full Committee of appropriations and and we vote and deliberate on Different 12 different appropriations bills that fund everything from You know, and security to water infrastructure to You know, defense spending a whole range of areas of spending and and the goal is that produce 12 appropriations bills that they would go to the House floor and then over to the Senate being negotiated and Be part of a final spending package. And you know it's a process full of amendments and full of debate, so it will be a long week. But I'm looking forward to it and we're going to fight for the priorities for Michigan and And want to keep away to some of his wasteful spending That's been done and continues to be done and And prioritize what the people of Michigan would want to see. Well, good for you. Meanwhile, you are working across the aisle with your colleagues on the Appropriations Committee to fully fund some programs. Tell us about the things you are working together nicely on. Well, I think our our Michigan delegation works very well when it comes to the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, advocating for Programs that protect our Great lakes. We're going to continue to fund the new building of a lock at the soo locks. And, uh and I believe infrastructure you know in the broadband issue is something that we could benefit from tremendously in Michigan, so I've been working in a bipartisan way. Through the appropriations process, as well as through individual policy. One called the Boost Act, which I introduced, which would be a tax credit. To make it less expensive for more access than some of the underserved areas. And, you know, we hope that some of these priorities can move forward. I I, You know, I as an outsider looking in congressman I look at something like this, and I scratched my head that we even have to do this, but we do. The legislation that says It's a federal crime to defraud veterans of their V A benefits. You know, that's kind of like a no brainer, huh? It really is. But you know, in this world we live in where somebody scams whether it's by phone or over the Internet or different means and when you see people taking advantage of people who have served Our country so nobly we want to make sure that They are not preyed upon by Predators who would take advantage of their goodwill and, uh And so we wanted to escalate. You know these crimes against veterans to hire federal level and make sure we provide a disincentive for people to prey on our veterans. Oh, boy again. It seems just incredible that we have to do that. These people anyone who defrauds our veterans are seniors in a number of I can list it. Certainly they should be.

"The Paul W. Smith Show watching the news. Maybe it was yesterday. I don't know the days all run together. And and they're out there at the Michigan Central station plugging away and it never occurred to me that they'd be digging up. Artifacts really historic pieces. Some were poured in the concrete building the building. It's been pretty amazing. And and Ted Ryan happens to be archives and Heritage brand manager for Ford Motor Company. Um, and this has been very exciting. Hasn't it been Ted? It has been. It's been great. We've been documenting the things that workers from previous generations have left in the building, and, uh, there's three different categories of things that we found, Uh, like the one more special and we'll talk about in a second and then The artifacts that had been liberated will use that term loosely and have been returned to us by by fans who had taken him a novel Love seeing the station. Wait a minute. I love the way you guys at Ford do these sorts. The artifacts that had been How should we say liberated from the building that are now coming back to us? Oh, you're so nice. You always we didn't. We didn't. We didn't own the building when they left when we have a no questions asked policy if of anything had disappeared, And I just got an email just two minutes before I went on with you with somebody who saw the story yesterday and sent me a picture of an elevator grill. One of the grills over the elevators that he had wanted to know if we wanted it back. And the answer is yes, we do. Oh, isn't that great? Well, that's fabulous. First of all, who even knew. Ford Motor Company had an archives and Heritage brand manager. I mean, think about that. It's the best job in the world I get I take care. My job is to take care of the 16,000 cubic feet of documents and records and 1.5 million photographs and Selection of vehicles and a cool artifact collection. And we we use it to tell stories about Ford Motor Company So the the new Bronco has a goat driving mode, G O A. T. And that came directly out of the archives because early planning documents all had G O A. T at the top of them goes over any terrain. The only military term is that wild. How great is that now? When you heard of the company was going to be buying the Michigan Central Station and rehabbing it. You must have been giddy with joy thinking about all the things that might be found there. I've never even occurred to me. I was. It was great and very quickly After we announced that you may remember that somebody called us an anonymously left the big clock face that have been on the outside of the building in an abandoned parking lot for us to go pick up and We've got a bunch of stories out of that. It's just been wonderful to see all the materials and so let's been down in the building is a crazy collection. Women choose Children choose. Of pre 1934 baseball, uh, a bunch of beer bottles, and there was a very special one was recently found and had a note tucked inside. It reminds me of the old Jim Croce song time in a bottle because this really is Time in a bottle because of that old note in an old pre Prohibition era stroll. Beer bottle. Tell us about that note. Well, the two workers Lucas and Leo, who found it. I've got to commend them because if I found a message in the bottle, the first thing I'm doing is taking that message out and reading it. Uh and they didn't. But there's signs all over telling the workers don't pocket the past and I've got to just say the guys and men and women that had worked down there every time they found something. They're so excited to turn it over first of their management, and then they know it comes to the archives. So they found this bottle And if you will play, you imagination game and the cornice that goes between the ceiling and the wall, that decorative corner board that goes all the way around. In this particular case, the thing was about a foot tall, so there's a big gap behind it and to workers. 1913. They actually wrote a note. It was Dan Hogan and George Smith for the note, saying Dan Hogan and George Smith connected this ceiling, Um, 1913, and then they put at the very bottom of Chicago and did a lot of research. And I actually found that Daniel J. Hogan, who was a plaster who lived on Lafayette Street in Chicago. From like, 19. Oh, three until 1920. So we know that workers came from all over to build the station And these two particular gentlemen left us a note for us to find 100, plus years later. Wow. That's really something. And when you consider what these in this case bottles had to survive, mostly, most of them I think intact. Some of them were actually Coated with concrete in and embedded in some concrete that was that was poured. They were. There's a liquor bottle that whoever was working on the job site that day, and, uh, the workers all and the management all kind of laughed. It was like things that's been a little bit more laxity. He polished off the last of his liquor, and he put the bottle in the wall and he became concrete ng over it, so It's a little bit different, uh, talk about high destruction techniques. Talk about hiding the evidence they did while we were at the station yesterday, though, too we found a cache of over 4000 train tickets that had been tucked up in the ceiling. One of the one of the guys pulled down a ceiling because we're having to reduce so much of it and all these used expired train tickets came fluttering down so The ticket station master at some point in the twenties, right behind the ticket office. He got tired of keeping the old one, so he just choked him to event up into the ceiling in the room next door. Ted Ryan Archives and Heritage brand manager for Ford Motor Company. Will you open a small little museum inside the Michigan Central station so that when people come there to either do business or whatever it is that they will eventually be doing in this very active building. Well, you have, like a little museum with the things that were found along the way, right there on location. We actually already have one at the community center That's in the factory, which is just a couple blocks down from the Michigan Central. There have been discussions on potential small museum, but nothing is is. Nothing supporting concrete. Yeah, to, uh, sorry I had to go there, but I like it. Nothing is firm yet to to to know if that's going to happen, But we're also doing things like finding ways to preserve and protect selections of the graffiti. Because, you know, yes, we're documenting the early construction. But the graffiti became such a piece of the building as it was used for film and video that we wanted to find a way to document that era the building as well. Wow. That's fascinating. We are going to make ourselves independent of Afghanistan as American troops pulled out of their main military base while we were sleeping. Leaving behind a piece of the World Trade Center they buried 20 years ago. And there's obviously plenty of room for conversation and for opinion and for the facts, we go to Simon Owen Fox News correspondent in WJR contributor. Good Morning, Simon. Good morning, Paul. This is a big deal. It's our longest war. Who would have ever guessed That's what Afghanistan would turn out to be. But it is and all American soldiers and members of NATO forces Have left the Bagram airbase. Maybe we should have had a clue 20 years ago when we took over old Russian facilities because they fought the war before us. Well, precisely, And that's part of the heavy symbolism that comes with this moment of of us troops. Pulling out of Bagram is the echoes of history. It's exactly as you say it was a Soviet base in the US inherited and that one didn't work out. That invasion did not work out well, either, as you say, 20 years. I mean, it's a dreadfully long time and there are people who are going to argue this in both directions that it's as far as President Biden is concerned, he says. This is time to go. There's only so you can only give a mission so long, and he reckons that nearly two decades is enough. On the other hand, there are plenty of people who look at the security situation in Afghanistan today, which is a country seemingly on the brink of chaos. And feel that it's not the right time to be leaving. But either way, you know this is why you get elected president is to make the big decisions, and the president took this call earlier this year that it was time to go to the U. S would pull out and over the past few days. We've had a steady stream of pretty low key announcements from European allies. The countries that went off to Afghanistan with the United States after 9 11 fought and died alongside American troops, and the Europeans have steadily been saying over the course of this week. Yet we are now completely out of Afghanistan to and then in the past few hours, we got word that it's not just the Europeans and that with the US, leaving Bagram Which you know this air base that was so long, the epicenter of American military power in Afghanistan. This looks to be a very strong indication that the U. S mission is all but over. And when President Biden announced this withdrawal, he said it would be done by September. 11th. It looks like it could instead be complete by July 4th. I thought that that they had kind of tweak that to try to remember the July 4th state coming up in the The symbolism I thought they were going for when they did this, But you're right. The original, uh, I thought it was president Did you say President Trump said September or It was feidin. No, This is very much part of the groundwork was kind of laid by President Trump, who struck a deal with the Taliban that U. S forces will be gone by what it was going to be. May 2021, Then president Biden took over. There was plenty of reasons to be suspicious of the Taliban were not keeping to their side of the peace deal. But either way, he largely stuck to it. He just pushed it back by a few months. You know, it's a huge Operation to get all of the gear that the US has in Afghanistan just to get it out does take time. But no, you're right. I mean, two dates with heavy symbolism of their own, You know? Firstly, the goal was 9 11. That would be 20 years following the attacks that started the war, But now it looks like it could be done by Independence Day. All of that is very unofficial, though. I think we're waiting for For an announcement. But I do think it could be any time in the next few days that the U. S. Says. We're had a schedule and we're done. When the bad guys thank you for leaving and the Taliban, actually, thanks them for leaving. I mean, that's not a good sign. Well, I mean, one of the Taliban central issues and complaints. You know, this is not a group like Al Qaeda, which focuses on plotting attacks against the West or or which has a big aspect of trying to attack Western interest. The Taliban has been much more locally focused, but it despises the idea of any kind of foreign presence, particularly Western presence in Afghanistan, So it is sort and sort this date. And it pledged to the Trump administration that if U S forces were to leave, it would not allow Afghanistan to become a terrorist haven once again the problem with that is, it's not a militant group that you can trust, necessarily. And looking at Afghanistan at the moment. I think there is this sort of two principal concerns because the Taliban has intensified attacks on Afghan security forces in recent months. And these are the security forces that have been trained equipped, supported by the U. S and its allies are now going to have to stand on their own. Even though our party was virtual. We were all connected online as opposed to being together thanks to the covert virus. We were all connected. Virtually frankly, I mean, some people went to parties and all of that, but most of us stayed home and if we communicated it was with family and friends. Uh, and over online and we kept our distance and try to keep safe. Best weekend. I thought And and I had to write a column for today's paper, and I had to write it Thursday. So imagine writing about the Super Bowl several days before it happened, But I got it plenty right eye guy said It was kind of a try effective that I thought that the game would be good in that Tom Brady would win. And I thought that the halftime show would be okay and a little eccentric, But people who people like the weekend love did on then, of course, the commercials. I thought we would do Okay, even though some of the big guys like Well, Budweiser didn't bring the Clydesdales, but I thought the commercials were pretty good. Did you think that commercials overall We're pretty good. Yeah, There were some ads that were pretty good as a whole as a group. Maybe a little below average because there were some bad adds, um, the Skechers. Ad with Tony Roma was kind of bad. The only CEO plane, you know the piano in the middle of a field. That was bad we weight was weird was it was just weird, but we had some great ads. I mean, the Eminem's ad was very popular. We loved the Toyota ad with the Olympic competitors. We, um we like the Jeep ad, and that was very emotional. A two minute spot. So that said $20 million check right there to run that spot. Um, but you know what? You know what one of the one of the keys of that commercial honestly. Is that Bruce Springsteen did it and he doesn't do commercials and one of the problems that they've had is some people complaining. The Bruce Springsteen was very political. During this last election cycle, so They're kind of saying, Well, why is he saying Let's let's meet in the middle if he didn't say that during the last administration, but that's that's what you expect. And that's not how you look at these ads. Nor do I frankly. Right. You look at it for what's in front of you. And it was a very poetic well, the cinematography um the good visuals that you know. In the end, though, they had a map of the United States and they cut off the upper peninsula so apparently opened in the in the U. P is gonna buy it cheap. Everybody's a critic. For goodness sakes. It's not the first time sadly. If the U. P was missing, But I think Olivia Francoise did a an incredible job V. This is the guy that brought us Eminem. This is the guy who brought us. Paul Harvey the farmer. Remember that one. I don't remember what the what? The gist of the Clint Eastwood. One was, but he's brought us classic commercials. And I think he did it begin. Well, The Springsteen ad is the iconic ad. Of the game. But there were other cute, funny Super Bowl, You know, humorous animal kinds of things. The Cheetos ad was pretty good with Ash Ashton Kutcher. And Mila Kunis. It was pretty funny, and you know, there were just the will Ferrell. General Motors spot was just cute. You know, you have to. There was a lot of promo up to it. And some of the pro mo's were not as good as the actual ad. And you saw the editor. Well, that's kind of funny. Yeah, it was kind of funny. I did see some of the teases and seeing the entire ad. Made it much easier to understand exactly what was going on. And I did. I did think it was clever. Is there here? What? Where do you go from there, other than suggesting this or urging her to do this. So it's you're right. It is a resolution. We are. We're speaking to the governor were pleading with the governor to be Please open this up. The teeth are actually the people of Michigan. The families of Michigan who are so completely affected by this the rally over the weekend, middle of winter extraordinarily cold. Thousands of kids were there and with their parents and their coach is asking to please open the state back up for sports. The kids were the ones who got up and spoke and told their stories, and it just absolutely resonated. And what I'm getting frustrated with is like so many things right now. It's getting found up in the politics. The people who want to support the shutdown mentality who want to support our governor, regardless of what the policies are are sitting there saying No, no, no, you guys, this is it's all Really dangerous. Stop it. For these kids. It's not about the politics. It's about the kids. It's about their ability to play in their future in this effects, not just today, but this affects years from now, these kids playing sports today we'll live healthier lives later. There's so many statistics that show that putting your kid in sports will help them for years to come, and we need to be able to allow them to play. Well, I agree with you that if you weigh the pluses and minuses in the case of kids, the minuses are few compared to the pluses that come with participating in the sports. If they've always wanted to participate in and have been participating in, Let's find out to what the governor does. But as I say, to follow in line with her thinking It wouldn't be good timing. To let kids go back now with these variants that are making it even mortgage Angerer us than it was, but that was part of the problem with the politicizing of this whole issue. And taking kids out of school, closing down restaurants, doing all of these things ruining our economy. All worked for the political gain for one party, and, sadly, so many people were caught up in the middle of that. And probably too close to it to even see it clearly. But now it's a new day. There's a new administration. There's now a move to get kids back in school. Today is the day they opened restaurants for inside dining. Hopefully the folks that set up outside dining we'll get around the 25% rule by doing inside, end outside dining, and now let's look to our kids and try to do what's really best for them. And every report you read and that you study, Senator Tice says. The kids back in school and the kids back in sports is better for the kids. Across the country. They're doing this without major bumps and give viral increase. It just absolutely has to happen. It is not about the politics. It's about the kids. Anything else we need to know. When I'm just I'm going to reach out to the governor Governor. Please let them play. It's it's about the kids, and none of these parents are sitting there checking a box, saying which political party they voted for their saying. Smith Show Tell of you, J. R. Thank you. Thank you very much for having us pleasure is our pleasure it We're all looking at changes. We have a new administration, a whole different philosophy and let's face it. There's changes in the tax code. Under the Biden administration, and it's my feeling that given everything I've heard so far that it won't just be people making $400,000 arm or that they're going to see kind of a tax increase. What's what's your professional thought? That's absolutely correct, Paul. We do expect there to be changes in the income tax code, especially with what happened on January 6th in Georgia and extensively control the Senate moving over to you. The Democrats. But the tax changes that we expect the low hanging fruit that we expect the administration go after is more centered the estate and gift side which is going to affect many of our business owners, Ondas well as their employees. You know, for instance, you had a piece about Blakes cider. Here was a company that was very, very small at one point, and now it's very large on but that's the type of tax code that's going to affect them dramatically and what they plan to do in the future and therefore effects everybody down the line. Everybody. And I contend that if you make $50,000 a year, you're going to see it or feel it. And frankly, there are other taxes out there that we don't necessarily automatically think of taxes. But they truly are the way they affect our Ability to spend or save any money and that is that there's inevitable that the gas prices are going to go up. We are going to be producing. We are going to be his energy. Efficient and not be able to stand on our own Once we stop. Drilling and getting natural resource is in certain areas that we've kind of got used to, which has helped keep the prices down. So those prices are gonna go up there. So this is not a thing that You know, you might have said, Well, it's gonna affect Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates and all these billionaires, so it's gonna affect all of us. And when do you think these, these changes will go into effect? Sure. Well, there's a bit of a political question. They're obviously we do expect that weaken, bracket it to some degree. So, for instance, we don't expect it to occur before the impeachment. Debate is over. On the other hand, that Biden administration has about a two year period of time and, frankly, ah lot less than that, in order to enact some of their larger pieces of legislation. And their tax piece is one of those they're going to face ardent opposition by the Republicans in the Senate as well as in the House. On. And so they're going to likely want to spend that political capital that they have sometime in 2021 begin proposing tax law changes and again. These aren't just legislative changes. There are certain things that we've seen from the by administration, as we saw from the Trump administration that could be changed with the just play piece of panna panna on a piece of paper. So they're also changes that you've alluded to that could affect a number of tax laws without having to ever go through Congress. Wow. It just means it's gonna be a bit more confusing and we really need to, uh, like I do depend on the professional, so I would never pretend to be able to In this day and age, do my own taxes. I need help. And you guys that you h Y help, and I appreciate that if we focus on this great state of ours on Michigan. How does what happens in Washington, D. C. Affect things here directly? Sure. Well as we saw from the state of the state address yesterday evening, Governor Whitner has substantial plans on what to do for the budget and, more importantly, for the covert response. Republicans have countered with their own plan that is somewhat approximately $2 billion less. But that money isn't conjured out of thin air. A lot of that money is coming from Washington, D. C right now his country We're spending a lot of money, which is appropriate when we're facing a pandemic. And again that money itself doesn't get conjured out of there, even though in the short term, sometimes it seems like it does what this means is that this bill is coming due. For the for the country and that and with the Biden administration in place, we expect to see substantial changes in the income tax, but also in the estate and gift because a lot of people don't focus their attention on that side of things. S O that effects Michigan Because every business that supports the automotive industry and manufacturing and all of those businesses, many of them are family owned, or they've been family owned, and that will have a direct impact on although so, what we see right now is for the business areas. Been a proud member for years and support it because they've been supportive of the city of Detroit through all of our ups and downs, and they had an election yesterday, I'll quickly say John Thicken E was in our friend John Shane P. Henry, Brian Fitz Gibbon. Michael Hutchinson, Loren E. James and Vito P. Gioia and I'm not sure I'm pronouncing any of them. Right. Vito, the second who also got the preferential ballot, and it happens to be John thick Annie's birthday today, So that's not a bad Birthday present, becoming a member of the board of the Detroit Athletic Club. Will Marie, We've got the action tonight with the the state of the State address. Seven o'clock live on WJR. It's a virtual address for the first time like everything is virtual. Now. Coming up. We're going to talk about the former president opening his office. That's not really news. Other than I don't remember any other former president calling Calling their office the office of the former president of the United States, I don't remember that, but they all have offices, right? I think they all have offices and that we pay for them. That I don't know, but I I do willingly. I do have a feeling we video we do pay on. That's just those air part of the perks, and we have to decide whether we like those perks. You don't for all of them, and we also give them security details for a very long time, along with some of their family member. I think I think they should have that otherwise who would run for president? Right, because they're a target, no matter how beloved they are, or whatever. I mean, they're a target, so I think they should have it. I think they have it for life now, and I don't think that should be although there are people saying that should be taken away. From President Trump because they just want to punish him in every way they can, You know, And I think that would be wrong. But I'll ask Senator Gary Peters about that because he's coming up in 8 18. First time we've actually talked to him since his election, reelection and incoming now as chairman of the Homeland Security. Council and and we'll talk about that. And the impeachment proceedings. Which U S A Today is and they've never been a fan of President Trump. But they say early signs hint acquittal and I think that that's true. I think they're being acquittal, and I just wonder about the waste of time and money and the stalling of getting to the problems that we face as a country. And the problems we face as a country is not a guy who's no longer president. Out there, though he is feared by many in the world of politics. We have some very real problems because of the pandemic because of the amount of money that we've been Doling out because of the companies that have been lost family businesses. Gone forever. I mean, there's a lot to do. In Washington, and for that matter in Lansing, that we ought to get to it and be holding everyone so feet to the fire. I think at least I agree there's a lot to be done. Meanwhile, This is one of our listeners pointed this out much earlier and it's it bears repeating. That this is the day in 1945 during World War two. Soviet troops liberated the Nazi concentration camps, Osh wits and Birkenau in Poland. Hard to imagine. That these places existed and continued to exist and exterminate people the way they did. It's just Hard to imagine that pulled the curtain back and really people, you know, because there were deniers then as well as to what was really happening, and that pulled the curtain backs for us the whole world to really face the reality of the horror. That it happened in unfolded in Europe at the time, we have other realities, not nearly as important, but facing reality. As you put it is something that in 1998 First lady Hillary Rodham Clinton on this day on the Today show, NBC's today show. Matthew Stafford wants to leave the Lions say OK, we'll continue to talk about that as well. People still talking about the business is closing. Talking about getting the vaccine or not getting the vaccine, Dr Anthony Fauci, making the rounds all over the place. Talking about vaccine shortages, the variant strains and And what's next will just have to be held hostage to this virus. A bit longer. Really with all the we try to do the relentless, positive radio. There are those negative stories that are out there and have to be told and one of them again. Another Another store closing. This one hits, particularly close to home for some people, and that is Though it was sweet while it lasted the Belgian chocolate here. Good, Iva. Will sell or close all 128 of its North American shops within the next few months. You know, I knew this was gonna be difficult to hear. Yeah. 128 stores all of theirs. E. I just can't. They're always going to be online, of course, which is I'm sure been going very well for them. But get diver retail stores in Europe, the Middle East and greater China will continue operating What does that say about Our economy in the days ahead our businesses in the days ahead. If they just choose to pull out of America because sales are weak, but they're strong in Europe, Middle East Greater China. Well, I will say this, though. In Europe, the They're bigger chocolate consumers than we are here. If I'm not mistaken, that is, I mean, you know Europe, especially their huge chocolate consumers. So I wonder if that might be more. I mean, it could be more story could be people. You know, saying chocolate companies right here in Detroit, so absolutely. And back to the Y and the other places and that they consume more chocolate. They we have gotten healthier. And, uh, although I think dark, Chuck, that's very good for you. A lot of people don't agree with the milk chocolate being so good for you, and in this effort to be healthier. To cut sugar intake and lose weight and all the rest of it. I guess it would make sense that That they're doing poorly here in these United States compared to other places. I guess I'm not sure what the best way to look at. That is happy to say that Chick fil A was listening. "Smith Show News Talk 7 60 wjr. 7 36 on this Tuesday morning, and you know we we all do our our work from home. Most of us many of us. More and more people are getting back to work. But at the radio station, you know we haven't been in our studios for quite sometime March against probably And there's a lot of conversation out there about how this has been going. Do we like it? Do we dislike it? There are people who say they love it, and people who say they hate it and want to get back to work, so Wherever you stand, you'll be interested in hearing what I workplace culture expert has to say, Gentlemen that heads up the vested group. Affirm that, by the way, is always the best places to work list and Joel Patterson is with us right now to talk a little bit about working from home. Is this a short term? Situation, or is this going to change things forever? For some people, Joel Welcome to the Paul W. Smith show WJR. Well, it's good to be here. You know the transition from the office to in person meetings, lengthy commutes to now, pajamas and zoom conferences. Spending pretty seamless for a lot of people employed and I think a lot of companies have looked at the possibility. I wouldn't want to be in commercial real estate right now in terms of sales, because A lot of people are starting to rethink how many buildings they need, how many bricks and mortar buildings. But of course, along with that comes the problems because the restaurants around that area of the stores, the dry cleaners, all the different little businesses that depend on people coming in great numbers to buildings. Doing business will be affected adversely by this as they have been now with the pandemic, But once the pandemic is over, and before the next pandemic, will we be staying home? Is that a good idea or should we be anxiously wanting to get back to work? Well, I think just like every answer, it depends obviously depends a lot on the industry that you're in. You know about 50% of people in the work force won't be able to work from home even if they want to, because they've got jobs like Construction or manufacturing, so they won't even have a choice. But for those that do have a choice. I mean, it's really going to depend on the organization how they treat their people What their culture is, like giving example if you're familiar with the company, Ari, I. They had actually in 2018 had started to build a new headquarters in Washington, and they were supposed to move in this last summer, and they obviously have not, and they have decided to actually sell that campus. And focus entirely on remote working. So there are companies that are taking some pretty drastic steps and deciding that they're gonna go ahead and allow their people to work from home permanently, and that's you know, that's like I said. They've got to make that that decision for them individually. But there's a lot of organizations that are really taking a hard look at this and trying to decide whether or not they want to make this a permanent fixture. You know, I think a lot of us might erroneously think more people are working from home than really. Yeah, You're right. 50% right off the bat have no choice. And you named Various professions. What people might do that clearly, they can't just do from home. I also see here from some of your statistics that only one in five Worked from home all or most of the time. 71% of those employees have reported doing their job from home. Now over half say that they would want to keep doing their job from home even as office life resumes. I can tell you this in the radio business. It does make certain things a heck of a lot easier with no commute involved. If you will. Yeah, There's a lot of upside like that. I mean that not having a sit in frustrating traffic in the morning or in the evening is everyone loves that the flip side of that specific one, though, is you had that sitting in traffic time allows you to transition from work to home or vice versa. And you're not getting that. So, um issued. A lot of people are having when they're working from home is They are if they don't have a separate space, separate desks within the work at and they are sitting in the same place where they do their work, and they probably spend time with their family. And so you know when they're transitioning to evening time where they normally would have conversations with family or watch a movie or whatever they might still be sitting. In the same spot with the laptop open, and that's not good, either. Even though you know, some employers might think that's great more productivity. Well, that's not necessarily the case. He didn't really think about what's going on personally. And whether or not that productivity is is valuable long term and these aren't new things You know, for the last nine months, everybody's been talking about the same stuff and trying to make sure that people stay engaged. Well, I don't think we have all the answers yet, and I think that's what we're really realizing is that there's still going to be some level of work from home as we move forward. No question. But what that actually looks like, is not defined in concrete just yet. As I sit here doing my show, I am very much aware of reminder yet again. That sitting is the new smoking. And a lot of us who were working from home, find ourselves sitting Much more during the day then we might have otherwise. And so that is one of the issues that we have to think about. In terms of working from home and realizing that we have to maybe figure out a way to do. Maybe we need to make a rule for ourselves to get up every hour and walk around a little bit, or every half hour. And walk around a little bit. There's no doubt I mean being able to follow a schedule moving around and everybody laughed about working in their pajamas. So really, if you if you take the time to change clothes and kind of shift into that work mindset at that, that will help us well. So there are some tips that you can follow to make sure that you're staying engaged and not just sitting in the same spot all day standing up, moving around walking outside for a minute. Some people even change desks, so all the work from for an hour and one spot and then work for an hour, another spot in their home. So there's there's other ways to combat that. Not a bad idea. The secret plan to kill Americans, 60 of president and why it failed. You know, it was just the story itself. We all know the story of John Wilkes Booth and ink Lincoln's presidency. This is the story of the first secret plot to kill Abraham Lincoln at the very start. In order to be sworn in as America's 16th president Lincoln had to take a train from his home in Springfield, Illinois, for Washington, D C. And the only way to get there was to go through Baltimore, But Maryland at the time was a slave state, so the plan was simple. A secret society plotted to kill Abraham Lincoln when he came through Baltimore and then this presidency before it even began. And needless to say, that's not exactly what happened. Imagine how history would have been changed if it had succeeded. That's exactly the whole thing. Right in the middle of the night is a speeding train filled with passengers, including two businessmen, a woman and her invalid brother. None of them are who they say they are on this train. Skip your event in Philadelphia tomorrow is supposed to be in Philadelphia the next day. On Lincoln's responses. I'm not missing my event in Philly. You wanna know why? Because in Philadelphia the next day, they're honoring at Independence Hall, Abraham Lincoln's greatest hero. A man named George Washington on his birthday. Lincoln says. I'm not missing honoring George Washington, and he risked his life to go there. You'll see a longer on the team, but he gives a speech about uniting the country and says if you don't we don't stand together. You might as well assassinate me and what we know now, when you read the book. That he actually knew there was a plot to assassinate and when he said that, and it's one of the most amazing moments behind the scenes of Abraham Lincoln you've ever seen. I love the fact that even in the midst of all this, they honor George Washington then right after that again, this is where it all kicks in. They jump on this train. They put a disguise on Lincoln. The Pinkerton detective gave Abraham Lincoln's life. I won't I won't ruin how, but it's an amazing moment of their defeat in this secret society. What a great great story the.
