"Despite a positive covert test and major league Baseball doesn't like it at all. In a statement, Major League Baseball basically said they tried to keep Dodger third baseman Justin Turner in isolation after he was pulled from Game six of the World Series for a positive Covad test. But his radio dot com sports Baseball insider John Hammon said Turner didn't cooperate. Security on the other people in MLB urged him to stay in the isolation booth. And could not listen anyone out on the field. I think you will regret it. It's not something that he could have done, the league statement said. While a desire to celebrate is understandable, Turner's decision to leave isolation and enter the field was wrong and put everyone he came into contact with at risk. "Year, the city of Angels is celebrating. Dave Roberts, 20 Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series title since 1988 beating the Tampa Bay Rays 3 to 1 last night. Dodger third baseman Justin Turner had to be removed mid game after testing positive for covert 19. Turner is the first player to test positive this postseason. But he says he feels fine and he was seen celebrating on the field after the game. And you know, tiny. My first memory of baseball was that 1988 Siri's, with Kirk Gibson, famously pumping his fists around the bases. So it has been a while for Dodger fans. Los Angeles Dodgers' Justin Turner pulled mid-game during World Series win after positive Covid-19 test

"Win three one, win the series and six, but being completely overshadowed one of the grandest franchises in sports winning the World Series Championship after three decade plus drought is being overshadowed by one player having to leave the game doing a positive corona virus tests and that is just turner but that is also so twenty twenty Jeff Passan is with us this morning Jeff have little more details on what went on that allowed Turner to be on the field for the post game celebration. Hasn't been nothing really allowed him to be on the field. He just chose to be field and nobody was going to drag off after he won the world series. He essentially said I'm going out there and nothing's GonNa stop me I want to pose with the trophy I wanna be with my teammates I want to choose celebrate like somebody WHO's won the world series for the first time and nothing was gonNA stop him and the fallout from that we're GONNA see over the next couple of days hopefully there. Are No other positive corona virus tests on the Los Angeles dodgers. But you know that all remains to be seen as does how they're going to get back to Los Angeles. When they're going to go back, there are a lot of questions still jeff. I don't put this on Justin Turner nor do I put this on the dodgers but how big of an indictment is this on the MLB? They're the ones that pulled him from the game in a there's the one that told him he needs to quarantine. When we see these Leagues Have Championship Games. There are people in the League office who were their security from league offices are there where where is the MLB and all this? Well I think the security tried to stop him from going on there but he you know this is a guy who's covert positive. So is security going to put their hands on him or are they GONNA to? Contract the virus themselves probably not, but they they didn't stop it from going out there and they did remove them and I. Think Rob Manfred got some questions answer about how that happened about what protocols were in place and why they weren't followed. Let me ask you this Jeff Obviously La in second biggest market for Major, League baseball outside of New York in the Yankees Major League Baseball don't want the headline story to be about covert the day after the second biggest market had just won the championship. Course not but I think regardless of weather. Justin Turner went onto the field or not it was going to be pretty interesting part of the story I. Think the fact that he did go back out there makes it a much bigger story now because there are questions, why did he go back out there? How did he go back out there? Who allowed him back out there? How did they not stop it? Jeff what are what are you hearing around the league this early morning about his teammates embracing the fact that he was able to join them for big celebration. GonNa go on up checks message here that I got from general manager. It's A super spreader event on live. TV. Welcome to twenty twenty. And I'M GONNA PULL UP A. Dm I got from an active player isn't here. Now it's nice, but essentially it's What the F. is going on. And that's kind of a thought around baseball and yet. You guys were players let let's put you in that same situation you gotten cut. Seven years ago, and this organization gave you a chance you blossom into an all-star to guy who gets MVP vote someone who's made fifty million dollars somebody who's a leader in the clubhouse and is seen as one of the voices and wants to celebrate this thing that he has worked so hard to celebrate. Would you have gone back out there As a teammate I'm okay with it I don't know if it was me dead had tested positive. I. Don't know because it would had to have happened in the moment and I would have probably responded reacted to my teammates, my coaches in people around me if they was embracing situation most likely I would have joined. But if Jay Wheel for instance is tested positive and he's my teammate I'm. Come on man we me. Yeah this is so subjective Jeff because I'm different I would have wanted to celebrate with my teammates. I just would've wore masks I would have done it differently but. turnage Justin Justin Turner did wear a mask out originally, but there were a couple of instances where cameras got him. He was talking to his wife taking pictures with her gave her a kiss mask was off and he was sitting down on the field for the team picture. To his left was the championship trophy to his right was Dave Roberts the dodgers manager who ten years ago was diagnosed with Hodgkin. Lymphoma. So He's a cancer survivor. He's the person who has a pre existing condition and Justin Turner daybreak spoke for mascots at that point now Dave Roberts told Fox later on I think it was something to the effect that I didn't touch him. but you know he was he was in the same vicinity wasn't for fifteen minutes wasn't close contact defined by CDC but the optics on it as Andrew Freedom and the president of baseball operations says not good.

Justin Turner celebrates Dodgers' World Series-clinching win on field despite mid-game positive COVID-19 test

"Jeff Passan you are somewhere in Arlington Texas right now it is one thirty eight am eastern time. So where exactly are you and I guess what's the last hour of your life been like? I don't know where I am right now Jeff. Passan covers baseball for ESPN and has been unbanned from this podcast after planting the Randy Arosa Raina Song in all of our brains last week. I'm I'm living in I'm living in Corona virus hell right now because I- Pablo I've been covering baseball for seventeen years now I have seen the Boston Red Sox win their first world series eighty, six I've seen the Chicago cubs win their first world series in one, hundred, eight years and I'm not sure that I've seen anything is crazy as what happened after the Los Angeles dodgers won their first world series in thirty two years tonight I mean let's get right into this then because what was the weirdest baseball season ever has ended with the weirdest world series after ever say and there's a great game to dissect here but. It's really hard to bury the lead of Justin, Turner the dodgers star Third Baseman getting pulled some time after his third at bat in that game because he had apparently tested positive for covert, and then a bunch of other stuff happened Jeff and that's where you come in. So what the Hell happened I was scrambling as all of this was going on Pablo because Fox, right after the dodgers won the world series announce on their broadcast that Justin Turner had tested positive for Covid nineteen but we started this show is some breaking news after the completion the game tonight we are informed by Major League baseball that Justin Turner received a positive Cova test. That's why he was removed from the game. We have no other details at this time I get the word that, yes, he had tested positive and the way that the story was told to me was that Major League baseball does one corona virus tests per day four players who were in the bubble and for family members and everybody else. That test from Monday got SENT TO THEIR LAB IN UTAH. The tests were run and they came back late that and Turner's tests was the only one that was inconclusive and as the inconclusive result for Justin, Turner had come back right around that same time the tests from today that had been taken had arrived in Utah. Now, they were getting ready to spin the sample of Justin, Turner from Monday to to retest it and see if there were. Any different results, but they said, forget that test, the one that came in today the results came back in about two hours around the seventh inning at which point a positive had been confirmed and immediately Major League Baseball was informed of this called. The Los Angeles dodgers. It was fed into the dugout and Justin Turner was pulled from the game and told to isolate. Justin Turner. Did Not isolate and that's and that's that's the part Pablo that I think so many people are going to remember from this. The very odd seen on the field where Justin Turner at one point is taking a team picture with the Los Angeles dodgers and he's sitting next to Dave Roberts his manager who also was not wearing a mask can who is a cancer survivor? After he had tested positive for Covid nineteen I, think people out in the world saw that and said what in God's name is going on here. I was one of those people out in the world in my living room like so many others in their living rooms wondering wait a minute. This is a very sophisticated game with many protocols. How did Justin Turner get cleared to be out on the field doing all the things you just mentioned? Justin Turner. Did Not get cleared Justin Turner just wanted to go celebrate with his friends with his teammates with his wife who I saw a picture of him kissing on the field and with all of the people who he won this championship with I had a GM text me as this was going on. And he said, is there a super spreader event going on at the World Series Right now? And it's it's not an unreasonable question to ask now Justin Turner did say in a tweet that he's not feeling any symptoms that he's doing. Alright. So bats great to hear, but it's not like. This is the Los Angeles dodgers team Pablo that hasn't had issues with covid Nineteen

"Original listening might as well just listen to the original. So I was on the verge of giving up on the song and then we tried one more thing which was the guy's, and I have very disparate music tastes. But one of the few bands that we all agree on his legacy and I turn to my drummer my bass. Player and I said, why don't you try playing like a burning county and jolly and immediately looked into that groove that starts the song on the record and Straightway was like we got it. We've found it. This is how this is going to be because it was so radically different but it had a really distinctive character to it, and then from that, you know building other lives on top of it quite something quite sort of ambient in. Of the top in counterpoint to the aggression of the rhythm section on it's probably the song I'm proudest of mice out of the split. Franklin and know about your experience hearing the no effects versions of your songs. Is there anything that surprised you were able to bring out something in the song that you maybe didn't know or had forgotten about Very much. So I mean, the first thing is when we agreed to do the split, a wonderful thing happened, and this wasn't avert discussed at any point, but it was just kind of understood between me and Mike that neither of US would have any input into the other classes creative approach to the record. I. So the first time I had any music from non effects including knowing even what they were doing was when I had the finish mixes and there was something really cool about that festival it demonstrates that allows degree of trust between the two of us as writers as as arranges which. Is Cooler and I mean that's kind of why we agreed to do it with each other specifically. But also it meant that I go to listen to this this. Let all my it kind of objective listening. You know I, put it on as if it was a record that I just bought obviously I then had songs, woods and chords that I wrote coming out of the speakers but through the medium of non thanks, very distinct tonality and that was an amazing moment for me because I'm such a huge fan and and to hear you know something like substitute.

"Sister Rosetta uses a songwriting device that POPs up in several frank. Turner. Songs that I was curious about you use a lot of religious language to describe kind of secular people and places Yeah. What is it about this technique? You find interesting well I mean it's a number of things I mean I might start sites probably because I received what you could probably describe as classical education I was educated on a scholarship at a boarding school in you know that meant I know my Bible and I know King James Authorized as well. I mean infanticide you know I think it's the. Thing that the using that language is very tempting, right because it's so powerful and so resident both in and of itself, and because of the place is in Western culture historically, and I think that dillon doesn't follow that and indeed springsteen and other people as well. Leonard Cohen Nick Cave, you know these are people who engage with that idiom because it's kind of it's enormously rich and complex, but is there for US So that's a big I think I. as I mentioned I was raised in a religious household as well, which contributes I. I'm an atheist myself that that's hugely important. You know it's it's it's a rich literary scene to play with more philosophically I would say that. And I don't think any of this particular original insights from the US. But you know there is a religious impulse in humans. Or collectivist impulse that idea that that designed to lose yourself in something greater than yourself historically you know the the most common way that people have done that has been religion. And I understand that but you know when you see people are eligible to own talking about all. Maybe we need to create an atheist church to give that religious sense to people who don't believe in God I think to myself. This is a man who's never been to a GIG or football match. There are many other ways that human beings do this in a full crowds, a good example or any sports properly or indeed a GIG and a sing-along, and there is something you know I think that. I mean to agree I feel like human beings have a religious impulse in its it. That's really do anything about that, and what we need to do is find that safe and constructive in healthy ways to channel that because one of the otherwise guess challenges is dubious political movements, of course. So you know first of all I find role to be redemptive in the sense that I'm discussing here but also I think it's a bad thing for society when kids are getting their rooks off at rock and roll Singalong than they are in kind of Brown shed uniforms or whatever else they might be interested. Well so the mutual cover split was a feature of the Hukou punk scene in the eighties and the nineties on the underground on the diy seen that was a big rash of a mutual records and then that person kind of reached its apogee. North Branson to the split in two thousand and two. It was really good. But it was also like to the big bands on the scene doing it and it kind of it almost like killed the vehicle by. So. That was quite high on my list of effects tunes I wanted to tackle. My choice of songs was dictated by number one of which was my taste but another one which was trying to find songs where I could bring something to the table that wasn't originally you know there's no point in doing a straight punk cover of an effect on because guess what it's already destroyed punks on for the most but you know it was finding some. that. I love that I could find a way into when we're working on eat the meek may and my band it was interesting because we we tried a couple of different things and kept slipping back into the original arrangement which I think is a vote of confidence in that original arrangement you know song is meant to be that way or at least sounds great. That way we start somewhere are gradually slide back into the original kind. Of reggae kind of Russian a which point I'm not interested because if if you're GonNa do it seems the.

Was it bittersweet at least no opera Now this I have to be careful how I say this because the public will get it wrong when you've waited for something decades. I went back out the I can tina days were over where I was a slave I had to go back and slave again for myself. And that whole. Because to have enough money to address to take care of family and to take care of responsibilities and all of my Chinese Allah. In that position so don't worry about it. Yeah. I. Wanted to retire and not worry and that is what that did for me. So I got to my goal I received that moment a revelation of this is it I'm going home now Whoa I was going home in a big way more than just a house. I was going back to a place where I had decided. In. My last stage of my life where I want to be. Yeah. No one ever knew unstaged. How much? I really was tired of singing and dancing. You were tired of it. It's work I I know it's work but it's something when you do all of your life yes every night that's all you do you know everyone is having a tam up there working. It's just was years and years of and. Again the body has started to react on working on high blood pressure. Yeah. I was taking medication which pulled me back I didn't have I couldn't get into that second year to to to buy is that what would happen to you on stage? It feels surreal. It was the second year the first few seconds was you know the look and everything and then the second song I started to press buyer and I was losing beauty but that wasn't important then because I knew I already had my audience and then I make the first costume change second year. I went for third gear. That was when I changed clothes the last time on that crane and went out to the people and that was it. So it started to become harder I couldn't hit my notes. Dammit I wanted to get those nodes. And I had to really fake those notes. Somehow you know but I managed it it took every drop of energy in life out of me afterwards I took a hot bath and just laid. And then I would eat it would take really until the next. To. Restore that energy back. So I did nothing but that so that I could complete continue. Yeah. So everyone thought because it was so you were so believable onstage effortless. It looked effortless if not that I didn't enjoy it oprah I enjoy that done You know whenever I got to certain songs like simply the Baz Proud Mary are what's love got to do with it there was certain key songs, but there were certain songs in between that worked me a little bit harder to get to those ones. My idea is still if I ever go back for any reason in any way I will have to create another way. That will get people to accept it because no one ever wants to see Tina do performance any other way than that right? Well, you can't hundred, eight, hundred, ninety. So I don't think they would accept me standing in a wonderful gown singing. That's not me. Yeah. Every now and then I always loved that point where we get to problem Mary, which is always one of my favorite moments you say every now and then we want to do something nice and easy right Yeah. But. I like to do it. Nice. Talk. "Inspired and connected to the deeper world around us starts right now. Years. Before beyond say and we were born Tina Turner was selling out stadiums around the world as the first black female rock and roll star. And it's no secret. I am one of her biggest fans Tina Turner is one of the greatest role models for women of any generation. Every note she sings declares I. Am here I will not be broken today at seventy three years old Tina Turner says life really is simply the best this Summer Tina married her longtime partner of nearly thirty years and I was fortunate enough to be there. To. Be a part of that big day I'm in the south of friends where Mr and Mrs. Urban Bach have been enjoying their honeymoon. We're at the most elegant grand, Hotel Cop Rod, one of the finest hotels in the world. Body. My God look at you. You are the role model for the twenty-first century thing over you. Make me feel very good. Look at this. You look. Fantastic. Guide girl. Guide girl. So this is one of your honeymoon places I know been someplace else for the honeymoon yes. This is this is a part of my honeymoon. Everyone says, Oprah. Knows how to pull you out of retirement and the honeymoon. Okay. So you've been on a honeymoon for a week and I wanted to ask is something you need to share with us. Are you pregnant? Are you pregnant? Of My girlfriends not don't go start having children. So I thought I knew you pretty well and then when I heard, it announced that you were going to get married. Little. We did we went. Watch and for what and for what can you answer that question? Comes a time in life and as everyone knows, I'm seventy three years old. You must put things in place I I started consolidating getting rid of property. I got rid of the House vast property in America I how they made a situation for my son's yeah anything that was costly. I totally got rid of. And then the next thing I found that. If something happened in depth for me which urban I weren't married before now he would have no say and I thought it was a bit unfair to live with someone for as long as we are. And not to give him any say yeah. Tina and urban met in Cologne Germany in one, thousand, nine, hundred, six at the time urban was a record executive and pick Tina airport before concert despite a sixteen year age difference Tina says she felt instant attraction. So every time I had talked about marriage before because he said to me didn't ask you when you when I was fifty when I was fifty years old, he asked me if I would marry with him. Oh, it was so cute and he's much younger does and I simply said I don't have an answer because it wasn't yes and it wasn't known. About marriage he said, we have to do something because if something happens to me, you can't get my money. How's that? Okay. I kinda thought like. Marriage says ownership you my wife? And I didn't want that my anything anymore and had enough of that from growing up with with my family and that situation I just wanted hands and controlled anymore didn't think that urban would. But he might've because psychologically that that law changes people's. Fouled that hasn't been the thing for me to do certain things not because you my wife well, yes, and also this what happens is that people I think traditional men feel like the word wife means something. Yeah. All right and I noticed you these at the wedding fans everybody which was great. Yeah you know sometimes. In a restaurant you see a really lady dressed very nice and she picks up the menu or something and little fan always a newly big fan as a little. Nice. Little Nicer. Little one I love this little fan always a little nicer. Planned every detail of wedding was one of the most spectacular weddings I've ever seen. More than two hundred friends and family members joined Tina and urban at their Swiss Estate Chateau Algonquin. Justice Tina envisioned the wedding was magical with personal touches from her everywhere. View. of. Tina's longtime Canadian rocker Bryan Adams performed his classic song all for love as a couple of walk down the aisle. An. Hour. Pink Armani Flower grow dresses were just the most magnificent. I've ever seen and one of my favorite details a stunning wall of roses created by celebrity florist Jeff Leith Going on when wedding invitation requested that all the guests wear white because normally you never wear white to wedding on said yes. So I knew that you must have been coming up with something spectacular you and Giorgio Armani at that dress was something I have to tell you do you have a favorite moment from that day? The day of the wedding yes. Do you have a favorite moment? Okay. I have to tell you because I started to plan January and I really gotten tired I was tired of thinking about it. I was of waiting for the day I wanted to get in the car and go to Italy before it's time. To, urban I said, you know Darling I'm GonNa, miss all of the I want to see it. So then he he started to think for me. So he said you know what if we get a place in the house or you can sit? 'n peak and look what people coming in. So your favorite memory is looking out the window and watching us all come in. So I stood in the window. And I've had an open just enough and you could see my face reacting to certain people some lab. Step bit and some was awesome. Those ladies dresses were. Everybody looks. So yes, you know it was very interesting about it and I was so absolutely honored to be there and I said at one point this feels like the great gatsby for real and it also anybody who's been an experience like that. You feel elevated by the experience feel elevated by the experience in real now. I am rock and roll I cannot envision performing any other way. By the other side of me is that elegance and that's what I wanted for that day it was not about my career, play my music or to wear hot funky close it was to wear the best I could be and that I wanted my my garden, my house and my guest to be the best.

M. W. Turner moved from cathedrals two coasts from the bright light of day to the deep dark of night and from the moody tones of his native England to the luminescent glow of Venice Italy for the famous painter they were wonders in water color I think some of his most original and expressive and experimental and groundbreaking work was actually in what color on paper that medium is where his ideas formed and the forest with a fervor starting with the first water color he painted of this gorgeous at age seventeen Turner painted more than thirty thousand in his lifetime drawing and indeed painting and what color was almost a compulsion it is like a kind of another state community just wasn't comfortable in this is doing it Turner scholar David Blayney brown is a senior curator with Tate Britain the London museum that holds the Turner bequest a collection of tens of thousands of works including these water colors that went to the museum after his death in eighteen fifty one he said they had a high opinion of himself he wasn't a modest man he realized that he was a great artist and he wanted to leave a legacy to the nation to the British nation now that legacy is getting some international burnishing the water colors which are extremely susceptible to light damage can only be shown once in a generation after stops in Italy and Argentina the show is making its only north American appearance I Connecticut's mystic seaport museum this is the most significant exhibition I believe that we have had in our ninety year existence so significant that five years ago when the museum was building this new facility its president Steve white says he told the architectural team the conditions on the specs for the space have to be good enough for Turner because that's the that for us would be the most defining exhibition so this says white is a dream come true to merry Turner's lifelong interest in maritime painting with the mystic river flowing just outside this exhibition because of Turner because of his expression of the sea is expression of landscapes he brings a of the spirit of this place alive in a in a much different way do we have a sense of how he's he's working with movement here or is it strictly do you think about color I think it's about movement as well because the color has to move doesn't it I mean this is this is just a coastline there's a storm approaching the clouds of presumed moving quite fast and the waves are crashing on the beach five years ago in twenty fourteen the Mike Lee biopic Mr Turner painted the artist as a frenzied storm of creativity that film was a movie.

"No he wants to get off and he wants to get off early. That was obviously in a hurry clearly true i okay but then maybe check in early aflaid. Is it from arizona to fifty five minutes the other thing. It's nothing it's nothing but i was for me. Is that other situation whereas like maybe ten years ago i would have been fucking pissed <hes> but i was like you know what big deal he needed to see yeah. I'm the same way i think about ten minutes ago. I would have been fucking pissed. We both have grown. That's like the equivalent of me and my story like picking up the you guys bullets off the ground. It'd be like put it back in your gun. I'm surprised you didn't do well then. This isn't your style. Maybe i would have done this. It just be like when i got to the person and be like oh. I don't know i'm c. C. one. I don't know how talk to the matter. I don't know who goes when but i i was see one just in case you're wondering mad at that person might have been a little the guy he could have just not known how it works but the been rushed and he just out of his brain the gate agent <hes>. I don't like the lax attitude. I think because the problem the major problem that everyone agrees with about southwest is that system is so it's it's so chaotic to begin with that they sort of they should be more on top of it because they've created situation that causes that kind of confusion and that kind of is amazing and so they should be more on the ball all with their own. Let me tell you how it works because i'm the only person between this crowd and a riot because if everybody if everybody thought oh well it's fine as as long as you have on your thing and you can just come in and then there's just gonna rush to the right. People have been lining up in order their entire entire long for centuries. People have been lining up for anything. It's that yes <hes> these people airports that can't they can't do it. I was saying that the gym yesterday that people get stupid when they get in an airport they just like suddenly their brain flies out of their head and there's like don't know simple like how how to behave like a human being in the plane yesterday for me. I was in group one and then i had to move around people like we all did we all had to maneuver because these the people planned to themselves and so then i said i'm i'm curious as to and they were for it's like why would you get you know. There's three before four no matter what the fuck is happening on this plane yeah. That's that i was group for yesterday and i kind of did the thing where i'm just like. I'm just walking. I'm not i'm not doing anything. I'm just walking on. I'd probably five people off offense. I you didn't stand no. I didn't but like when it's four and everybody starts going yeah. Do you like because if you don't assert yourself then you your last that's centigrade degree you kind of have to but i walked by people who had been standing there and in a way. Maybe you agree with me. It's like if you were staying there when it was group one then you're kind of an off <music>. I'm just gonna walk onto the plane good for you. You're the winner here yeah. I don't know if i am kind of selfish. No <hes> what is selfish what happened a lot of airplanes stories <hes> but <hes> getting off that in that satellite <hes> fifty two to get on the bus and there's one line for to bring you due to the <hes> five gates <hes> then there's wanted to bring to the fore gates and that's it there's those two lines and then this woman and man decided to make their own line that was gonna come in to like there's a it was a line yeah and they had this little offshoot satellite satellite for the guy behind migos <hes> there's there's two line sir and then just cut in line but he said it in such a way like nobody knew how to go..

"I was like casually mentioning it someone else. She was like that was real. 'cause someone jason posted about it. I said oh yeah. I didn't say yeah. Ah good wow that's insane yeah. I don't know you didn't punch that first guy what i do. You want the grill me the gun. I'm with you. If only i'd had time to think about like eunice during the show it was just as i was leaving like i'm saying goodbye and then i'm like what what wait you weren't asking for another spot. No i just don't a spot right wasn't a response to i'd love to do it again. Oh well you can work the grill. If you wanna do it again. This is like oh. Can i do it next week. I guess you can do anything week you on if you work here at this shit all right now back act two. You seemed very small. Oh yes very very small. Show you see one it yeah so so here's what happened without belaboring bring this any further <hes> i thought about whether i would say something to somebody about it and it didn't take very long. I did not i didn't because it wasn't one of those to fight but to give this a little bit of a button so that you don't make that face anymore so obviously i'm behind this this guy all the way down the the again the runway gangway. I'm watching to see if he's going to do anything like to show that he did a thing or two somehow figure out what's going on. Nothing happens. We get into the plane what he chooses to do. Which i found very interesting was he chose to there there. There are a few middle seats. He chose was to have an old lady. Get up so that he could sit in the middle seat. You didn't have to choose that seat and then his bag was like too big for the spot that he wanted to put it in and i helped him push his bag into the spot and when he turned around and i saw his face he was pleasant. I don't even know what what so there. You go come on guys the real heroes i'm reminded briefly of the point said basically to paraphrase paraphrase. Why would i tell the story. If i didn't do anything and you all remember that it was it was well remembered. What's the point in retrospect. You said that that was the exact reason why i said it makes a left turn in that. He ended up helping the guy that he was gonna fight fight with. That's true and i actually wasn't as you did you go. I'm c._y._a. Shove that bagging a little bit just to get it a little and you've got an i._r._a. Or window see. I got a window seat in the back. He's dumb okay..

Oh what was it called shine or no. Oh it was the kid show right yeah it was it was and it was produced by the guy <hes> who produced hamilton it was it was billed as kind of like a musical tv show set in high school but what it actually was was a highschool show in which the characters are putting on a production of spring awakening eh rise. Oh yeah that fell flat quickly. Yeah that was very disappointing just for the simple fact that they weren't singing because i think it's always interesting when someone tries to do a musical t._v. Show it's for so bizarre and i watched them all. There's a new one. The disney plus is going to be high school. The musical the high school musical the musical the series is coming out of boy. I'm gonna say no okay but with all the the streaming services maybe do we all know him from. Everybody in this room knows nobody. We all know him from one particular from a movie you from one particular thing but you also but he's done a lot of people from like you might know them one thing that well that doesn't help us them. I guess but who's your guest. I don't think he's that old. I was gonna say aaron paul but he's not come on. John and we're doing serious guesses today. Is this a <hes>. Would you consider this a comedic actor. I would very much so very much so <hes> <hes> very much. I don't understand and then then. I try to put it on my head so the audience one korean. Maybe that's what it meant and because i was playing. I don't actually know maybe she had sent that hours earlier too. I have no idea what the time line of it. I didn't ask her. What was your question. Did i go to sleep. Oh so no i did not go to sleep early because i watched soccer game which yeah yeah so now. I'm exhausted nick. We're in denver yesterday. We did a live show in denver wonderful degree theater yeah. It's it's seats the the right amount of people for us but it doesn't feel small like the right size. That's where the garlic stu there show. That's exactly right. I watched a documentary recommend around woodstock last night. <hes> there's another one well. There's woodstock is the movie right and then this was documentary about <hes> woodstock itself the town nope about the concert. That's an interesting show to try to fill so what are the most payments rock documentaries all time for we know about woodstock okay and then relig- via this ninety minute version of everything you knew about. Which is it recent yeah for. The fiftieth breath. Aniversary was a good three days a defined a generation that one. Yes you know what i enjoyed it but i you know i'm obsessed with woodstock i i don't i <music> i i. I don't think i would have been a hippie nineteen sixty nine but i think the jury's out up from me on that one jimmy i would have been there. I really there's no doubt my mom because he loved music. Actually that's a good point yeah. You're not at all a hippie but you would have had to have gone but you would've had to like. Your car stopped then. You'd have to decide like i'll just watch. I'll just walk three miles closer. We would fucking hated that the mud mud. I wouldn't have even with the last night watching them with the sliding in the mud and just going. What do you do now now. You're sitting cake mud because he thought to be funny to use that as a slip and slide like the first time i went to chicago fest. When was the not the band the city of chicago fest. We went to see chicago but we had to walk about three miles from the train train station to the stage so that part of it is not <hes> that problem and like <hes>. I like a festival atmosphere of concerts exciting revival there. Did you hear the on the radio. They were playing the entire audio from woodstock..

Though i am got the information art and nick turner is here but what we were just about to start celebrity citing so let's take a break. We'll bring nick over to the table with celebrity. Sighting knicks got a brand. New podcast out called a get orig- nick now. Yeah i get it. Thank you gary. I thought this was going to go on a lot longer now. Is one of you already rich so you're just focusing on getting the other nick rich playing the game. Nick nick nick works. You know you know. I live a life of leisure. You have a half hour special on comedy. I do but they stopped stopped paying me for that. Yes i f- gets you nothing at the club. No no i really felt like swansong comedy. When i got the half vira finally good night. Now i can retire. Yes i'll pop up later. If podcasts become a thing and they have yes yes they had before. I said there is a revolution. I'm familiar conan. O'brien step down from television ran to the mailbox my variety. I saw the news. Sir flipped turks looked. You did the sadly by the way it's great when everybody can do a special half hour but you did it sadly when you were no longer allowed how to pick your backdrop your name on the wall whereas in my day which is now going on with on twenty four you got. You had personnel personally <hes> creative meeting to decide what you wanted to have as your thing. Would you believe i just had a picture of me behind me. I wanted to look like the old the dean martin roasts. That's how to achieve that but that's what i wanted. I just wanted to <hes> beyond before midnight and the guarantee that i i don't care what's back there. Just put it on a time. My mom can see it. Yes and they said no. He said no. We've got we've got some stuff plant years new years and i did it three years ago three years ago so i got two thousand and sixty thousand sixteen rated election going on that your big year yeah i did not know sponge pro-trump stuff. "Corner. I did and incredible cold. Everybody raves about tried to make me feel like a jerk. Who did the woman who gave me my coffee. Why why should we can feel like i ordered. <music> is driving me. Okay is coffee called coffee <hes> she's she laid it down and i says is iced coffee and she said it's cold brew and i was like is this is coffee. She's like they're the same so then. They arts no nice coffee. Is you brew coffee and you let that's hence the ice his coffee so i said okay. I'll get you back. I'm gonna go broadcast is next door you done rebecca. Her name was oh wow yeah i will say this. We've given them how we'd been here four years in the studio five years <hes> six years six years. It'll be six at the end of the year for six years. We've been nothing but a compliment. That copy shaaban based on people's reviews one time in that time fine day i also. I don't drink coffee so i didn't know. Is that true that the cold brew tastes different than brewed coffee. That's been put on ice. I know that it it costs more of course this well brewed. The coffee isn't iced coffee is chilled in the fridge. No puerto rice. I mean you know to make it cook cold right. Don't they sometimes just to speed things up is put a ton of ice in port over that they do. I think those days are gone probably just waters it down and because if you get enough thrown back at your cantering undrinkable the garin cockerels on the world wide web and he appears to have an answer he just did a bernie sanders like fingertip cobra who was made without heat which creates lower acidity for smoother naturally sweet taste to iced coffee is brewed double strength then cooled which creates a refreshing so they compensate yeah because then then you're watered down with the ice you want.

"That a little bit but i know that is not what it used to be. I remember i had friends who lived on the south side and and visited wants wants and flute at midway and i was like what is this crazier board. It's like when albany to midway. Albany is a similar like burbank very small airport and i was like this is i'm living in another country. I flew exclusively into midway when i first moved here. <hes> because of a more planes went in there. It wasn't like southwest. Now is the way to go but it's it's burbank you at least then it's not i. I'm totally not now that it's ramp much more a hopping airport near talk- pardon air talk their talk somebody would do do not taken is actually isn't anymore. What isn't larry gross. Oh is that. What is that what you're show scott plain talk <hes> um pl called air talk because he's on the air. Everyone's on the air. If you're on the talk show the dumb name for that show yeah yeah run into another w i will not hear it i will not you won't stand for it by the name never not funny well stand by me is a song song of course that was very popular and benjamin e. king yeah ben e king <hes> but we we alluded to we went to denver and had a wonderful matinee and <hes> had a game for a day. We had a couple of bad gentleman. We had <hes> colin. I i then kicked him off the stage as i want want to do somebody <hes> doesn't do anything wrong but they beat out for humor's sake and then a guy named tom <hes> built in for the rest of i guess most of it right <hes> but again as i've said as i say at the end of every podcast live show i'd say occasionally here in the studio we have and <hes> circle back to something do <hes> the greatest fans there just the greatest fans and it came up with the woman karen who and this happens this truly and you know this man. I'm not telling you telling the listener so that they know that. It's not just me blowing smoke. This is every venue we go to when we are getting paid at the end. They were like you know what's great about you guys. Your fans are the best you have the plight fans you have the the most prompt fans and they all and and i'm not making that up every then you they say the show was average for us. People were yeah and and that means a lot because then they tell us and i'm not gonna ruin the details but they tell us about the shows where the fans are assholes <hes> and <hes> it so just you guys should know so that when i tell you that you're the greatest that it is based in fact and research research not just bragging or being partisan or or sucking up <hes> because a new seasons on the way it's really is <hes> a very nice thing <hes> so thank you thank you for that came out to denver and we got to enjoy denver. The mile high as i opened the show with it was nice to walk off the airplane to that crisp cool mountain air about ninety nine degrees and stifling stifling but windy for some reason. We didn't cool you down man. That's a creepy wind. That was hot. It was like a convection donovan. That's perfect blowing in your face. Yes it was blowing hot air. I call at the elliott gary wake up over there alive condescend to me good stuff having fun. I'm garrett just go by quick. I wanted to thank my friend. Logan hale who came show. It's very nice and elliot you know him <hes> and he was very nice and gave <hes> jimmy and me a ride to the airport and thank you for that to to worst and again. This is an example of how great of a guy i mean how carrie i did not want to step on their friendship and i said i would take a separate car and i dave logan would hear nothing of it. I enjoyed the air enjoy. The ride logan was a very nice conversation. I enjoyed it. <hes> sort of how he got us from there was more or less traffic than on our way there but yet somehow the guy whose company i was enjoying god's there in record time and in the uber. We took the lift that we took it seems. I don't know if i didn't look at my watch when we when we left the theater did you because it might. It took us twenty two minutes to get to the airport. It's crazy and it took us about thirty.

H. Wilson can first tell mark tape and Ronald a coup in your junior so despite the fact that maybe it's been a bit up and down for the National League central so far you still have one Christiane to have your bias three Josh Belfort Wilson contraire us starters in tonight's all star game Justin Verlander for the American League.
