The Curious Case of Frank Gore

"Tim kunin you recently. Wrote a profile of frank gore for espn dot com. So what inspired you to take him on as a topic at this particular moment. It's interesting follow. Because i've watched his career forever. I i'm in the bay area. So i followed him when he was with the forty niners and he's always struck me as someone who's sort of exists outside of our current time. Espn's tim. Qa has been writing about the nfl for three decades. Like he's this guy. That's the third leading rusher all time and yet he doesn't really seem to be appreciated or highlight that you can point to. He's just sort of this guy that has just existed forever in our consciousness and right and the fact that he's he's on the jets. He's he's i mean he's their lead back still. It just became this thing like how. How remarkable it is for someone. His age thirty seven years old From the two thousand five draft class as a running back is still not only in the league but productive and you spoke to him on the phone for a long time for this story and as you say despite him being this guy with a resume that might be worthy of consideration hall of fame consideration. He is fairly anonymous. So tell us what he's actually like. As a person he is amana few words and he is We did have a very long conversation. And you know he's he just is a football guy. I know that sounds like a cliche but everyone you talk to about. Frank says that he's this vont. He's one of those people that that can do these things but isn't particularly good at explaining them. And i think it's partly because what he does is just as is a product of of work and study and just feel and it's another reason why why he's one of a kind. I'm not talking. I'm really not a talker. I know i've been blessed with the bullied. Play football at a high level. I'm glad there every day you know. Give it up all on field in the game. And we'll give my teammates mall to i take advantage of it and why i take advantage of occurs got got taken away from you at college so i know that knows this game not promise nobody as we say in that press conference clipped him. His injuries in college an enormous part of his story early on had come to the university of miami out of nearby coral gables high school as a freshman. He was a backup on that iconic team. That won the two thousand and one national title scoring five touchdowns that year and really impressing people as this up and comer tell us what played out over the next few seasons. You talk about remarkable. I mean he had to l. tears at the university of miami and was on those uteem's with guys like mcgahey in clinton portis in one star after another in the backfield and he pushed himself to overcome these injuries and to compete with those guys obviously for running back. Acl tear is among the worst. And have it have twice in college. You know it would seem to be insurmountable. It cost him some speed as a freshman. He was kind of a revelation as a speed back down. You know what we think of him now isn't necessarily that. It's it's the tough yards and it's the inside yards. So i think he had to adapt a little bit to what he could do when he lost a step or to get the poor right gore riding out what again the man out of coral gables brings the big to the miami hurricane he just wilt himself to become a third round draft. Pick of the forty niners in two thousand five. Only a handful of guys from that drafter still playing in most of them are quarterbacks and kickers.

Ethereum Bounces and Bitcoin Gains Momentum

"Top ten now well. Jeez I'm not is a tricky little pillories. It was down yesterday so it was up yesterday but came off towards the close. This bitcoin market is just holding. It didn't pull back very David just continues to grind along and what we've got right now. Is bitcoin cross above nine thousand nine thousand three hundred and seven dollars up one point seven four percent on the Diet and look if we can clear the old highs of this most recent trend that gets above ninety four seventy nine? We'll have a pretty good looking mock. The moving averages have called up so not overextended anymore. That very big I think fourteen percent die. We had about a waco so ago and we are really in a position where I'm hoping to save further upside of Bitcoin. Still Whiting good tries to sit up of looked in the prophets of loss waken. Haven't had anything at all so far this week. So we'll have to wait and see what comes of. This won't one at present right now on. Bitcoin we are off and he's a nice looking knock. It hopefully break to new highs on the on the low timeframes so he can get some good seclusive for good rights on a theory of nail. Yesterday was actually down down significantly three percent down as well. They are down down down yesterday. It touched tests that ninety. Four thirty five level. We'll go close to that anyway And to diagnostic bullish. Candle right there in that crowd was on Scifi route. Three point two percent above two hundred to five eighty and look the diabetes. The best looking John. Hey back in that cradles not so good on the lower timeframes exit a twenty one point five cents at one point. Eight nine percent right now is the theorem sitting in that cradles beautifully. Well holding above twenty cents. Which was the level that was resistance For quite some time and we push through that now loss wake of course and Yeah just taking along. It is up one point eight nine percent. I said most ago. Bitcoin cash very sought wise yesterday. Well yesterday I was down two point. Two percent become regaining quality Dominance yesterday as well really pushing that seven sorry sixty seven percent. Mock nuts. Why WE SING. Bitcoin was up in the rest of the market will more or less was down. Bitcoin cash sitting at two forty five spot five right now at one point five percent for the day of the soliciting on that daily. Certainly certainly not as Nice as some of the other shots like theory on the daily Bitcoin. Sv was down two point nine percent the clothes and it's up one point eight percent wrought now sitting at two hundred and five dollars and sixty four on the doesn't look very similar. As a matter of fact bitcoin cash should become as they look very similar on shots that will enable but chocolate shop lot coin right now. Forty six thousand and seven cents up two point three three percents. It's little bullish candle in that cried. I'm a little lower haw. That sort of snuck in about a week ago five days ago which is going ninety Maggie. A little less attractive for those Kreider is on those daily timeframe but he's up two point three percent right now looking good. Swell is still below that resistance the tutorials and eighty one cents that being said yesterday we did closed down four percent one the lodge declines of the day. What up two point. Two two percent right now tools and seventy two cents. Pretty likely looking. Jonathan Lost Bonnets has crept into that cradles beautiful little bearish candle rotten as I speak. Da is being quiet vonts over the last couple of weeks. Short has been grinding higher but just grinding. We haven't seen any big pushes what we have on-site. Bitcoin is some of the other coins at it. Sixteen dollars and fifty one cents right now. Point eight of a percent of a groin and to so yesterday closed down two point eight. Two Percent Cod donnas held his a holding above that full point five nine cent mock and Holding Holding Holdings mobilised candle today. Far yesterday we would damage. Only point on of a percent. Rotten now is sitting right on five cents exactly up two point seven percent a therion. Classic got a bit of a full yesterday's well it was down five percent. One of the lodge declines. It has been one of them will volatile In this market recently. Quit simply because well. It's run up hod and pulling back as well any that cradles on daily shot rotten now looking very very seven dollars and one cent were up two point five four percent on the day at this moment and the rand at that top ten hit tron. It's been holding in that consolidation patent for quite some Tong yesterday. We we were down two point one percent today right now at fifteen point nine cents up two point six seven percent so wold of grain out the at the moment viable force old time will tell if we get good training opportunities so dart have a great deal writer. Obviously the white for that daily shot plus are under the white for these charts to play. Add a little bit but I get a little bit better simplicity on those low a timeframe so I can start to attack those electrode the lower time France but only when all the trends are in agreement it just increases probability of success. And that's all I can evidence

"You're humble host on the Ocho it is Friday October eighteenth two thousand nineteen it did it you made it you've been working for it here it is the weekend is finally a on us and we're about forty eight hours depending on where you're listening to this away from the Dallas cowboys really you know playing the biggest game of their season the biggest game the Jason you it's career maybe not forty eight hours maybe like fifty five hours from now just because the whole Sunday night football thing but we're forty-eight hours away again I don't know when you listen to this maybe you're up at the crack I'm maybe listening at lunchtime either way about forty eight hours from week seven's day action in the NFL we did have obviously some Thursday night football action of course we had some action the Houston Astros getting the DUB in game four one win away from getting back to the world series game five tonight on Friday night I have a high school game we have the Madison Africa and leave volunteers on Espn San Antonio you can listen to that on Espn San Antonio Ninety four or five FM you can always listen on the go at ESPN DOT COM great strip twenty seven six a game here in San Antonio so we'll have this Stroz game on in the press box hopefully they pull it off Stroz nationals will hopefully be a lot of fun barring a miracle back by the Yanks but while the Stroz were doing their thing the NFL world held its breath as Thursday night football you know we've gotten some good games honestly you know the seasons Thursday night games have been pretty good we had not a great game on Thursday night between the chiefs and Broncos but we had quite the scare Kansas City quarterback Pat Mahomes left early on in the second quarter with an apparent injury were recording this late Friday night I'm talking like real late Friday night so the exact details of the injury are still unknown obviously you know that she's still have to get MRI and see the results and everything on the homes I think it goes without saying we're certainly hoping the best for him nobody wants one of the brightest young stars in the League to be hurt any period of time Pat Mahomes is so much fun to watch so we'll see what happens he tweeted an express some optimism so there is that but but again hopefully all is well with Pat Mahomes the Broncos are so bad oh my gosh the broncos are I feel bad for Emmanuel Sanders honestly because he's such a wanted receiver I mean he's got a ring at this point let me go get another I mean let him annual sanders go somewhere else and not that the cowboys need him and I don't mean to do that but Emmanuel Sanders once upon a time I'd have to dig it up but I remember that he had liked a tweet something something to the effect of was traded he wanted to be traded to the cowboys obviously he's an SMU Guy So there's familiarity there but the cowboys Harley Wide Receiver at this point although you're going to say well the morning Cooper Sir the cops are that will get to the injured reports in a second in fact let's do that now so Thursdays Injury Report for the cowboys was a little bit better How little bit better than Wednesday's it's it wasn't hard to be better than Wednesday's the following players did not practice for the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Anthony Brown Randall Cobb Amari Cooper we'll get to him Here in a second Michael Gallup was a limited participant but Byron Jones did not practice other limited participants in practice dorrance Armstrong a lyle call ins was a limited participant already mentioned Gallup Chris Jones the publisher of course and Tyron Smith full practice for a few cowboys? Travis Frederick who is back was dealing with a personal issue Jason Garrett said on Wednesday that's why he didn't practice are full participants include Shanley again pretty crazy while he is the epitome of Health for the cowboys and Toni Ballard if you care about the eagles the eagles certainly Very very banged up themselves Fletcher Cox was a full participant in practice after not practicing on Wednesday Ronald Darby was a limited participant in practice. He's unlimited all week long in the falling players did not practice for Philly on Thursday they also did not practice on Wednesday for what it's worth Nigel Brad John Jackson Timmy. Jernigan vont Matic's not shocking obviously Jason Peters and Darren sproles the growing sort of sensation the growing feeling going expectation and is that philly will be without Jason Peters into Sean Jackson for this all important NFC East match up on Sunday night so good news I think again I mean as far as news goes on the lisle Collins Tyrant Smith Front Amari Cooper I mentioned you know we would get to him he did say that he's going to try to practice on Friday as this is our Friday episode we get these out early in the morning for you so you have it on your way to work or whatever we don't know the status of his Friday yeah but you can rest assured that as soon as that information is available we'll have it for you at blog on the boys dot COM Fridays are always a great day of information as Jason Garrett oh well Jason that's his press conference but I meant to say Jerry Jones it's late yeah you've got to be nice 'cause it's a little bit like Jerry Jones will be on one zero five three the fan as he always is on Friday morning so hopefully Jerry yeah he'll he'll usually tell you he'll usually be honest about what he's expecting any way in terms of big injuries and whether guys are going to play or not but you know we talked on on Thursday's episode about a growing sense of optimism some of you reached out and said that you kinda shared that and I do feel that way I mean I do feel that that game is I don't WanNa say coming up cowboys but it is interesting to see how the cowboys have kind of stuck together right we know that the cowboys have really stuck together that's one thing that really doesn't happen I know the QB reported that there was a lack of trust in in assignments and things like that but that's not a lack of trust in in their identity their relationships with each other the cowboys locker room is pretty pretty pretty solid in to that degree I mean you know we've mentioned this before too I mean they really trust and believe Jason Garrett now you might not you know obviously a lot of you don't but for what it's worth the Dallas cowboys themselves they do go to bat for him this is a weird story and not worth a whole lot of time but it is certainly worth mentioning considering the Dallas cowboys host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night there are some reports of dissension oh you're coming from the Philadelphia Eagles Locker Room you'll remember that previously over the off season and whatnot it was reported that some eagles players took issue with quarterback Carson Wentz calling him things like egotistical there have been some rumblings there four and some rumblings popped up again on Thursday it all started to kind of give you the back story obviously Jalen Ramsey was traded from the Jacksonville Jaguars through the Los Angeles Rams this week obviously the Philadelphia Eagles need help in the secondary semi eagles players according to Espn Anderson were a little bit pushed off that they did not get Jalen Ramsey on their team they talked about how you Roseman dropped the ball I believe was the quote and so that was kind of the tip of the iceberg for eagles players venting then just in Anderson on ESPN and talked about how a certainly those player an unnamed player obviously has a little bit of issue with the Eagles off fence and Carson Wentz here's Anderson on ESPN A and three obviously eagles source also talked to me about how they feel like that offense is functioning one of the things that that is we need to make bleep simpler okay sometimes we just need to handle what is manageable they said even Peyton manning new winter check it down well oh well even Peyton manning they went to check it down oh we look maybe this is being blown up now maybe it really isn't that big of a deal maybe there is a particular eagles player that you know does have an issue with Carson Wentz not checking the ball down for what it's worth bff has carson wentz great as the second best quarterback in the NFL through six weeks Dak Prescott his third for what it's worth so Carson Wentz is in playing bad football by any means I mean we talked about this with kissed when he joined the show on Thursday I mean about how both wins and decker being let down by a lot of what's around about all this and they talked about how you know they didn't point fingers a society but there is suspicion at the Eagles player who questions Carson Wentz perhaps the offense position as a whole is actually wide receiver Nelson Aga- lar- you'll remember the Nelson Agla had the big drop when the eagles last played on Sunday night football and they visited the Atlanta Falcons sow dissension inside the eagles locker room is not a bad thing for the cowboys certainly and since his did have it on today it's something I would imagine that Doug Peterson will be asked about today on Friday if any other eagles player does any media session on Friday I imagine it will come up but so again if you're a cowboys fan it's a good thing it's good thing to have you know some some bad times happening on the opposing team's never wish ill will or injuries or anything like that but if they can't get along it's probably a good thing from a football standpoint let's talk about advantages to the cowboys seemingly have this Sunday night against it Philadelphia Eagles maybe you think they're a non maybe there are a lot let's get into it before we do we're GonNa take a very quick break to hear a word from our sponsors check out the American Ninja Warrior aspro behind the scenes look at all the action of the show and more Dallas Cowboys seem to have over the Philadelphia Eagles. I would say quarterback I I think I mean I'm talking you know I think the cowboys quarterbacks the eagles quarterback and that is by the slightest margin right now I think the Dacca's playing better than Carson and that's because Carson's playing at an elite level I think they're both being led I am by their receivers I think they're both being let down by their defenses I think they're both sort of inhibited by all those circumstances and situations and so I think that deck is more capable of sort of caring his tim victory as evidenced perhaps by the locker room dysfunction I mean you never hear that from Dak Prescott teammates they go to battlefield they have an advantage in the run game although I think right now you've probably got to give the overall offensive line up front advantage of the eagles I mean that's one of the best of lines in the NFL L. and considering how did the cowboys are I know Jason Peters is probably not gonNA play I mean if you're down Lyle Collins in Thailand Smith the advantage belongs to Philadelphia I mean that goes without saying now to a larger degree if he doesn't play I think it's kind of a wash I really do even with no Deshaun Jackson I mean the eagles just they they have a way in I think you know when you when you look at their pass catchers they obviously are playing against the cowboys secondary which has not played well and so that's a big part of it over the eagles defensively is in the middle I think that maybe their linebacking core is better and maybe they have more potential in the secondary but we can't we've got to stop you know what I mean like the eagles secondary is really bad and that's probably why there is so much you know pissed off nece for them not trading for Jalen Ramsey but I don't know that we can objectively say their college secondary's better yeah they've had better moments maybe like maybe their peak has been better so far this season but that's not saying much I mean.

"The show today terra vont as perfect he is gone suspended for the rest of the twenty nineteen season after is hit yesterday on Jack Doyle NFL vice president John right Runyon said this about Montez there were no mitigating circumstances on this play your contact was unnecessary flagrant and should have been avoided you have continued to flagrantly abuse rules designated to protect yourself and your opponents from unnecessary risk and what is he doing now he's appealing and he's also starring in the remake of European vacation because he got on the plane with the the the team to the U. K. after the game in Indianapolis arrived in the UK. goes through passport control to the team hotel where he's informed your suspended you can't be with the team so I guess he's gonna find a room over there or I don't know I'm on the plane back I don't know maybe he'll just go go helmet to helmet with Stonehenge and yesterday not that thing down. I don't know if. so this girl helmet to beef eaters laid whatever they call that is getting all wrecking spur he is gonna just go just take your helmet and go ram a whole bunch of things in the U. K. Boris Johnsons got a lid he does yeah hello. Chris Johnson maybe I'll just take out brexit that's the answer is over there von days we can't figure this thing out just ram it. I am on a slow as I said I've got no problem with Lee end of town to get out. yeah multiple multiple offender okay it will mature misty update here I'm Schefter saying initial MRI on his shoulder dislocated left shoulder slight labrum tear does not need surgery however and could be back sooner rather than later he's going to London obviously but unlikely to play against the raiders dude I told you earlier chase Daniel the way that he ran the offense it looked crisper and anybody said here's is will Daniels better than. Stravinsky. I'm not saying that what I'm saying is Daniel is a veteran true best ski is in year two of this offense you're three receivers that are running routes are turning in getting the ball to hit them and I'm not saying true basically doesn't do that also what he's did is bail out of a place sometimes too soon too early receivers are running routes and instead of having the ball come their way they're watching true Pisky come their way now they're getting the football from Daniel and I think this team is going to perform well and you take a look at the trend in the NFL. these quarterbacks over the last two weeks or two one L. Allen Bridgewater Jones meant you. sometimes it's okay. sometimes it it's gonna be alright and the bears defense can make things alright should the bears trade for you live the whole. the whole and a giant shouldn't trainee live away it's clearly working what's going on Daniel Jones performing as well as he's performing part of it I think it's because he lives in his ear and help him out. and given him some some advice during games and is also isn't creating a you know what storm over this. don't you can just put his head down and go to work. so I I don't think I think the bears are still in good shape I really do. jets coach Adam gase on a conference call today talked about the health of his quarterbacks in Donald right now what they're telling us is cavity contact so we were playing the game tomorrow or Wednesday you wanna be able to play do the other men cleared for contact at what point in the week you have to make a determination if Sam can't play of it you have to get ready to what what is your cut off point with making the decision on Santa not ideal it's not ideal situation that was the first question I asked as well could be one thing if you're looking at I got as played in the league like twelve years or something that could you go the whole we can also get the rug pulled out from under us this is more of a situation when you got a younger back up you know and and if he was going to play he would need to rest so the sooner the better that I have an answer right now it is what it is I mean I just have to keep kind of preparing with the possibility of Sam going in and possibility that we might have to go. that's the that's the honest truth right there and that's the unfortunate aspect for jets season that is going to be a route fast I can imagine Donald who's just been cleared for non contact stuff. getting out in the middle of the of the week in being able to get up to speed for Philadelphia Eagles team that we saw was chasing down Aaron Rodgers last week I wouldn't do that. a chance yeah yeah Donald was asked about this you got it yeah I got yeah in his speech. let me get this going to do this please it it would be on my honor to do this please don't mind that because as you know my favorite graphic in the history of Monday Night Football in the vast history of money that football is thank you are Los Angeles broadcasting center they have at the ready it's my it's it's it's that motion you the man point that they had Sam Donaldson only in front of a green screen the middle of August yeah probably long having no idea that the lift your arm and pointed the screen would be used for out indefinitely mononucleosis graphic most jets graphic ever ever now has a quote to go with it as I tweeted out hello in answer to the question is your spleen still swollen now it's a germane question for somebody was mononucleosis because that is the crucial organ of your body that's most affected by illness senior you can't mess around with okay is your spleen still swollen a very rare germane question that's asked of a human being let alone an NFL quarterback is viewed as a savior of a franchise. answer it's out of my control my spleen is going to do what it's going to do. which is by the way. a new record. not just for the jets the very Jesse thing but overall the most unique twist all the it is what it is right now on a body part my siblings gonna do what it's gonna do I don't have a crystal ball I'm only talking about the siblings that are here. what is happening. I don't mean to laugh except I do but looking cases only cases only can only do what he's cut to you he was that is what it is. what else a okay big news this morning California governor Gavin Newsom signed the bill for NCAA player compensation here in California announced it signed it on an episode that I assume where soon of the shop will brown James on HBO take a look. when I say this is check my. but this is a major problem for the NC two eight does he brought the car in the paper right now what's is going to change it was going to do it's going to initiate dozens of other states to introduce similar legislation.

Raiders' Burfict suspended for rest of season

"Let's move to Indianapolis. We're vont is perfect was up to his old tricks yesterday getting from the raiders win over the coals for a dirty already hit on tight end Jack Doyle for blew kisses to the fans on his way out but he also just kissed the whole season goodbye with the NFL suspending the controversial linebacker actor for the rest of the year explaining the perfect history of rules violations was a factor in the decision question here is should Baez Bursik pick be allowed to play in the NFL again at all. Oh yeah absolutely this is just the next step in terms of penalty and severity of pounding when you you talk about this so season long who five million dollars basically just burned up again on top of the four point. Two million dollars in fines and loss is game checks. He's already accrued over his career this so yeah he deserves another chance you know part of the opportunity that it comes from penalty is the redemption so you gotta give them that fell. XFL No no no not yet twenty nine NFL why I look this takes us back. Let's not get too political denying these strikes law remember that you how does that look in history. Now I get it yes. There's the league common called the XFL for X. NFL players early in the morning I was it's like I watched a highlight video of his collection of hits and then I thought they had problems with this dude at Arizona state over dirty hit yeah. XFL Noman Trust your gut. Your intuition is six million times faster than cognitive dot and you know what that means. Whatever you felt I is what you should have went with those star watching it over and over again and talking yourself into a different mindset. XFL I'm wit coming back next year. People are resting in the hall of fame that made their careers off of hitting the way Vantera perfect hits so the reality and that's truth. That's not up for debate. You can you know the NFL chains changes in it evolves but the reality of it is is that now we're looking at what what we talked about and discussed before with this crisis is the is there officials crisis this is there a player safety crisis and this is yes screams yes because the reality of it is. Is that a targeting hit yes but make me play. Agai- they can agree just enough to say he shouldn't play again. I don't I disagree with that. He should be able to play a game salute after he spent a year to the XFL proving. He knows how to play football the ball. I say bringing back the been fined for for July updates a lot. We have a number on that because I know it's a lot because this isn't the first time we've talked about these issues shoes in Arizona State. He's had a history of this throughout his career and being an offensive player. Obviously has a team. I see why you signed A. I think how what does it take. I have kids and so I can tell my child to keep they keep doing the same thing over and over and over again but they're learning by the time they get older. I would expect for them to stop doing this Bontes burfoot. He has not learned. I'm saying look you're going to jeopardize people. You hidden man in the top of his head. Who Miss Could Win got even worse. Maybe cracks his neck naked. Guy Can't play anymore. You're not learning then. You're blowing kisses on top of it after you've been through all that much trouble. I say I hate to say this but obviously you need a little break. Take not more than just this year. You're not learning told me thirteen suspense. That's it. That's it that's thirteen. You've got to me got taken away. His the thirteenth strikes law. I always I'm always I've always been a perfect apologised. I love the way he plays I love his passion. If you know the guys he's an awesome young man. I just just I get it and I totally agree with where you're coming from. What you're saying Oh when I said it wasn't I just think I just think that it is truly rooted and the players safety crisis that the NFL we know that deal with what's not in it for him. this is what makes them and this was going to break. Kim Is the fact that he knows he has limited physical skills. So what he's always done is make up for that the curse of the gifted in a sense of he knows he's not so gifted so he's going to go out there and try me knows exactly knows what how physical here's smash everything about this from launching lean to the duck head am basically trying to spear somebody. They've been trying to tell this do for six years. Cut that out. God is not allow. He refuses to accept that and whatever it's rooted in. They got rules that up to prevent it. He won't follow follow him. I get it I've talked to people that swear by volunteers perfect off the field and on the field he was a captain this year. No I get it but people wearing off all to fear those of us did watch him on the feels like hey man and I'm defended him in the past but this is a bridge too far. Let me ask you this. Why didn't the NFL suspended for life. That's an option. Why not probably be because they plan on him? Perhaps returning to the NFL fail but I'm the question where I wouldn't do you wouldn't do. I wouldn't let this do go playing Vince McMahon's Lee and show me some proof before I ever allowed you back back in the NFL because I'm GonNa tell you this man. I'm GonNa tell you this what the NFL has to be worried about. Let's say let him back in and he does paralyzed by the next time they're going to be involved in the lawsuit that comes to that's true. You seen this guy thirteen times. You've seen Antonio Brown. All kinds ads guys and you kept let me back in the league the lease hands maybe tied this this remained the suspension made this be the first step the bigger the bigger or conversation is you have to do this and you have to set the standard in the bar so nobody else decides to slip back. That's why he needs to go with that. But now you agree when I once told me said I totally understand y'all's

I hope that was used for you. Well, it's fucking go to the website and look Snuffle says Justin, I noticed there's an A I controlled Mazda speed. Three in horizon four. Is there any reason some cars, our AI only and not player controllable? Oh, that's a great question. So that about this Mazda. Speed three. That comes. Well, clearly Snuffle 's is a fan of the of the three and would like to have it for themselves. Some, it's really down to the design team, then decisions they make. So what what's unique about horizon is you have all this traffic, right? To populate the world. We have traffic and we have these cars out there that are just driving around. And then you add in all the players online, and you get a feeling of, of vibrant environment. Right. So the design team essentially goes through the car list and says, well, what cars we want make craft cars this year and they just pick them and throw them in. So there's a whole bunch of cars that, like my old Audi wagon my vont wagon was in the first version of horizon. I'm like, don't make a traffic car. Car, so. Yeah, is it comes down to design team. Yeah. Okay. They just sort of pick and choose what they want to throw in there. And, and I'm sure that the, the effort, put into the difference between any traffic car and drive cars, huge. Yes. You got to point, right? Trying to build in. Yeah. We don't have to build the interior, went out to build the engine all that stuff that you would like. Yeah. That's exactly. Right. So the outside of it. Absolutely looks like the real thing. But you don't open a hood on the traffic card. Look inside. Yeah. Tuna do any of that. So you're exactly right. Exactly. That helps us from a from a you know, just a memory standpoint. I think I bought traffic cars for my three d rendering for my business. I needed to fill it with cars. Oh, I and I and we meant they mentioned having to buy the graphics packages for these cars, because the graphics seen in that look like they look like video game cars from ten years ago in in. Yeah. Promo video. Yeah, that's fine. I think there were like five hundred bucks a car, something like that. Okay. Each. Bought four or five different kinds of cars, and then they're replica guys bad stuff. Like I was like the shot of insight in the parking garage is expensive. If you actually pause and look like three cars, only five, I think, different kinds of cars in there guys, you just different colors. Yeah. Yeah. Tricky. Oh oh, yeah. Why it says just in any chance of the Detroit GP track in a future game? That's Belle isle. Well oil. Gonna make an appearance in in, we're joking earlier, about Willis springs and stuff that, you know, there's, there's never a shortage of traps to put in the game of ugly shitty gray tracks. No, not to say that, that bell. Al is that bell is actually pretty cool. The way we do our track selection and track design again. It goes back to the design team the development team. So you, you we have a running list every year of the tracks who want to build and put it in the game, there's some that you always have to have like a mall. Lazar and you have to have indie. And then the list goes down from there, and we take fan requests, we t- we look at what the fans are requesting. What they want will it from the design side what we want. It's also very important for us to have diversification around the world. So we can't have too many North American tracks. And there's a lot of great tracks here in this country. Obviously, you've got a lot of private tracks to the private party. Barbara wants to be in the game you know, things like that. So, yeah, we've,.

"With you last year, I knew the raiders looked bleak. But they've added Trent Brown. Lamarcus Joyner Antonio Brown. Tyrel Williams vont has Burfoot and you're gonna add three first round draft picks, George if you didn't know the raiders last year, you definitely know who they are this year because they're going to draft three guys that could make this team and I'm not saying near a Super Bowl contender. But they are definitely a playoff contender. They got better. I think after this draft and if they get a quarterback. Oh,

"Best phones, best networks contracts. So vont has perfect was released over the weekend by the Bengals. And we had a lengthy discussion. Mike yesterday during the show about his lengthy resume of offenses and scroll worthy. I mean. It's Old Testament inland again two thousand twelve since then four hundred sixty nine thousand dollars in fines an ex close to in the two hundred thousand so he is he has given up his share of money and missed his show. Sheriff game missed his share game. So he gets a two year deal worth five million dollars to go to the raiders. Now. It's interesting. He goes with the raiders because Antonio Brown is now at the raiders, and what's notoriously in a playoff game. Antonio Brown was concussed and knocked out on a cheap and dirty hit by volunteers perfect which actually allowed the Denver Broncos to hang on and beat the Pittsburgh Steelers the following week and go on their magical run toward Super Bowl fifty. So that's interesting on one level. And then there's this the idea of what has perfect is a player. I wanna play the sound from you from Andrew Hawkins K. Who does a great job for us on our NFL platform of networks. You're talking about von perfect the player playing with them. He brings that edge to the game that every team needs. Yes. He does things to get you in trouble and penalties. But when you're in the game when you on your team in the locker room, you need to play you know, you can rely either really good linebacker playing against him might have been the scariest part of being in the NFL. We have planning. It's a guy who has very little regard for rules or. And it doesn't matter once he makes the decision to decapitate you that's going to happen. It's scary. Okay. Now, see I would take exception with something Andrew said there. He said you can rely on him. Listen, the one thing that's the most important trait in football is availability. And you never know when volunteers perfect is going to be available because as Andrew Hawkins said there, eventually he's going to do something stupid, which is going to get them find suspended. So I would argue there's no way you can actually rely on volunteers. Perfect because you never know how long he's going to be out there. And that's the worst quality. You can have as a teammate talk about being out there to specifically for him. The last time volunteers perfect played in all sixteen games in an NFL season was two thousand thirteen was rookie year or second year. He's a pro baller. The second team all pro that year at one hundred and seventy seven tackles. So you can see the production was there, but you're right between suspension, injuring a number of other things has not always been on the field for the Cincinnati. What hawk was talking about more was when he's actually on the field playing that. He is a good player. Not what he was. Oh, no. Let's let's be sure. And that's one of the reasons Cincinnati let him go. They feel as play was declining. Some and now now you're looking at the long leash of a good player shortens up when you're when you're aging and not as good and the the cost of effectiveness of what you bring on the other side, which is the possibility of not even being on the field. So when he's on the field. I think he's a good player. Not a great player anymore. I think he's a good player. But that's the question. When's he going to give you that dump penalty wrecked? And then when is he going to do something where he's not on the field at all. So you better have a good backup or rotating system in there because you may go few games without him. I think he's the least rely. Player and all of the NFL for that very reason. Like, you know, how this works. You guys both played at a very high level you need to be together to have a cohesive unit that understands the game plan and plays within the system. How can you have a guy who goes rogue all the time that you can say, well, wait a minute at some point when you gonna mess us up for doing stupid and the raiders for a long time. We're deemed that team that would tolerate guys like this. This stereotypically is a very raider sign without. Jon Gruden raiders yet. Although this off season they've been going out making splash signings for players that are still producing in a very high level. This is the first one that kind of fits that old bad boy mentality and and really hasn't mattered which coach has been there. They're usually leading the league in penalties. So this certainly didn't help that. And then there's the is it awkward or uncomfortable in the beginning with he and Antonio Brown. One of the suspensions was because he smoked Antonio Brown. Tweeted, we're good all the kind of stuff. So you how that works? You hate them. All yeah. When you play against them. And he's on your team is your team, man. You'll love him. I mean, I put up with. For most people I've talked to it sounds like you put up. Look they're getting him for a very low price. There's no question about that. But to me, I I just I don't think you can use the word reliable when talking about has perfect in any way, shape or form because you never know. And then talked about talking here about a veteran and a leader on the field and in the locker come on. That's another tough call especially if he's doing stuff to hurt the team. I mean, that's not the guy. You also want leading your team. I don't I don't I don't really buy it at this point in time. Now, like if you're the raiders always still dialed into Derek Carr long-term like is he the leader of that team. Is he going to be the guy overall that leads that unit because defensively we know they've got a bunch of young guys. But they talk about in that group for the most part. I mean when I think of their D line and some of the guys that they brought in their even the talented ones or on the younger end right now like am. I missing veteran on the defensive roster. That's really going to be the signal caller the rally guy. Yeah. Khalil awaiting industry cargo. Look, here's the deal for being honest with ourselves at the NFL league is being honest with itself the way von perfect place is exactly what they're trying to get rid incident. That's exactly if there's a clip that Robert Clem co from the Monday morning quarterback put together of all the things about this verdict has done. It's cringe worthy to watch. It's cringe-worthy watch how cheap and dirty. He can be at a time. So I'm curious how this marriage works out and how long he's actually going to be on the field. Because at this point. You are what you are. He was an undrafted guy out of Arizona state because of this crap. When he was in college. He got he reformed it after his first year and got a contract after that. But went right back to that behavior time and time again, and that is straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless, nationwide coverage on America's largest, most dependable four G lte networks. Coming up, there's a deal in place for Robert.

"And make them their own and think beyond what we asked them. The biggest mistake you've made I made some pretty bad mistakes with and business, and it was mainly due to not having things in writing. You know being born. Yes, just having somebody that you thought you could trust and a handshake deal. And then when things don't go the way, you want them to having no recourse. That's that was a big one. That's a pretty big one for everybody. Right. Because I think you meet people you trust them in Kabul. Ryan right to go along with that. I guess another mistake of mine is is. Allowing allowing. Hire about higher to be too long to stay too long, especially not not cutting the cord when we should have because if you have one that one, bad employees. Kind of bring brings down everything else. Common. And if you if you allow it to it can become a virus and takeover, everything to smart examples, we're here to inform inspire, and we're here to inspire inform and connect the community Vonts preneurs. I'm Pat O'Brien Business Rockstars, Brandon. Congleton is our guest and Tommy bell. I short your name every time you hire the wrong personnel. And you're right. You can't sit on that. Right. Yeah. You got to cut the cord attached. You can if you if you see it going in that direction, if you if you -ticipant going in that direction, you either address it and see if it corrects itself or it gets corrected or you just have to cut the cord because if you do nothing about it one, it's a it's a huge waste of money. But to that one person whether it's because they're slacking or because they're untrustworthy all of those things will lead to bigger issues, meaning other employees, see them slack. So they started slacking or the trust issues actually turned into turns with theft. You just got to bite the bullet and. Cut the cord. So what's on virus style dot com? So if you got a viral styles homepage right now, it's a marketplace. So all the products, they get launched on our site put into our marketplace people that just happened to be gone tomorrow style, concerts, the marketplace and purchase products than we have a way and another part of his learn how to sell the products, and how do you get out there? I mean, social media, right? A lot of that. Yeah. So the beauty and our businesses. The marketers doing advertising for us. So we give them the platforms. Give them the profit margins. They can acquire customers by spending money on advertising, whether Facebook or whatever the Mark the media, and they all redirect they direct all the traffic to viral styles sales page that we give them. So that's that's how we've been able to grow. I have a great idea. She made a shirt that said virus style on it where one hundred nine people could sit. There you go. I was actually a good idea that I always yours was like a football. That's just a miniature version of that this part. I like, yeah. I like that like the walking billboard look have you retained let's say finding employees. They actually really like, I'm sure you like all of them. But how do you how do you? Keep them rewarded and invested in the company. Having actionable goals when once they research goals or certain times, we will reward them making sure that they understand that they're important to the business giving them creative control or whatever they have whatever gives them pretty much in five years ten years where you're gonna be. Larger company than we're now only been out for a year to two years actually today, really? So where does the company grow can only have so many products? Right. Yeah. I mean, well now you can you not only not we were expanding our product line. But the product line is essentially can be become unlimited. The mean, if you think about how many different types of apparel there are out there plus were offering things like clocks, and coffee, mugs and everything else for people to sell. But there you'd have to decide at a certain point. Do you want to keep keep adding on and keep adding on or do you want to have a focus and and be really great at that small group of products. How do you make that decision? One thing sells mug. Goes off the charts. You don't wanna stop doing that? I mean, that's the billion dollar question at what point do you? Do you say, okay. This is our core product line, right? And at what point do we say, we need more? Introducing more choices which could attract more people scale, really. Scaling is really done by the people that use the site. So we just have blanks, and they can create whatever they want on the Facebook sacred graphic data and things like that you can target people by what they're interested in. And that is an unlimited resource if you can think of ways to combine different interests and things like that some of the stuff they come up with on the side as really clever, I need about one hundred thousand shirts say Pat O'Brien is my hero. Along. We'll take me to make how long will take you to sell those. Good. I could play the fashion business changes all the time. So. How do you deal with that? Or do you just well, I mean, I don't like that. I don't feel like really what we do is towards fashion style change. But when when somebody let's say, you're on Facebook, giving an example. And you're a grandparent or whatever, and you really proud of it. And then all of a sudden on your news feed ABC, the man the myth, the legend t shirt, and you just want to buy it for yourself the show one hundred thousand dollars, by the way. And it's just it's just an impulse buy. So people there's a lot of Finnity with t shirts. I think there's never going to be an entity shirts. Obviously people need stuff to where. It's just the way that we teach and grow these markers and how they learn how to Mark products. What are the best things Brandon that you've learned the most helpful things as a CEO? Boy, you're the c team. I mean, we kind of share the CEO role. But in terms of of the business side of it, not the technical side of it. I think. I think just. Knowing that. You can't and won't know everything the the takes a while to get there by the one. Yeah. In a business. There's you hire people that specialize in a certain thing because that's what you're lacking. And it takes a team of people to make something successful just like video production where you need people that do video sound everything else. There's not one person that can do everything. So knowing realizing that you're gonna need somebody who to increase the strength to your weakness is essential to a successful business. Well, one year in you guys are doing great for two or wants to just two. Predom- good. Thanks for coming in. Thank you. Appreciate it. Hobby. Ordering those t shirts. We're here. "You know, and just where they come from with experience, you know, von tally, given it's evident that was that was another one that really hurt us of auntie going out on our corner situation was well-documented, but vont at the safety has played really good football for some just think back to our earlier game against the giants. His ability to go in that game play safety at nickel was huge in getting us to win. But you know, he's a guy that is is a really quick new Decatur really quick thinker that maybe not need as many reps as some other guys. You know, so experience experiences is different across the board. You give better with just about everything you do when it comes to experience. You know? I'm sure you guys have some articles. You wrote refers start now that you look at now. I could have done a little bit better than that. And I think players are no different coaches are no different. But everybody's everybody's a little bit different than the challenges. The offense a little bit different. The saints run. A lot of different personnel packages, it out of wildcat lot of different layers to communicate a lot of different tempos coming out of the huddle. A lot of different substitution. Some late substitution that try to cut you off of your defensive communication. So it was it was a little bit more challenging for those guys. But again. There's I mean that's part of the NFL itself that we have to deal with. The game. You normally call it the way versus helping of position, but isn't experienced more out. I don't know. I mean. I'd probably like to the blitz guys on every play. But just know what's best for defense outta best manager game. You know? That's probably not the best course of action every every game different. It's it's really hard to to put that in any kind of neat little package every game. You're managing something. You know, you're managing a guy being out. You're managing a tough match-up your magin. You're managing. You know? The way the offense is playing the way special teams reply him. Everyone is is different when it comes to how you're trying to get stops in how you're trying to hire you trying to play the game. Listen, everybody. Hours. You don't want stars. But. Around all that. Of. Yeah. You know, when I speak for Turner was I think it all goes together. And again, I'm speaking because I'm watching a lot of giants right now and things second play that game. Jordan tipped of all comma, winter sapid. Komo had his hands on a ball. Little soft cast on his thumb but had his hands on Vall couple of weeks ago with the chance to go convert. I think you gotta let those place come to you. I think that's sort of where we are defensively. Also, you guys know, I always talk about in points allowed and than turnovers, and you know, obviously last game we weren't we weren't good. Either. Those I did think we had a couple of chances to make some interceptions in that game. We just make play. I was a couple of times where you know, when the ball was thrown baseball coverage was like, okay. This one's going. I'm not talking about the linebackers. But there were a couple of times that we we had chance to get stops. And our get takeaways and didn't really happen for. Distended? You got the vet on the backside having trouble with the run game. Did you consider doing more base or did route reach take that thought? Right out of your head. Oh, no. I mean. Yeah. You try to play bass against against some of the three I mean, come on a wide receiver. So a lot of times there was like five or so your resume field..

"So I think it's rare to see this type of rivalry. And I know we talk about the Ray. Evans and the Steelers, but this is now transitioned over to Bengals Steelers because of how you've seen it right there with all the hits and how these players really dislike coach. If you're the Steelers, you really don't have time sometimes that stuff can get in the way. Sometimes it actually hurts the actual game on the field in terms of production. And if you're the Steelers right now in the position they're in, you really can't afford to let that emotion and that sloppy play. Get involved here all stimulated a lot that went on in the league. After that game a year ago, there was a lot of changes is relates player safety. You know, as it relates to respect for the game, and I can promise you both coaches, and let's not forget the both. These coaches have been there for some time. These guys have been a rivalries as nineteen seventy. They played each of the twice a year and there's definitely bad blood, but you don't wanna do anything to harm the football team. I'm sure they're getting a pretty good dose of the do's and don'ts in this particular game. Well, first of all, you never want anybody to get hurt. Right. But there's so much talk about the game having right now with all. All the different changes or points of emphasis that they're more emphasizing right now with these rules in this rivalry right here really just exemplifies that alpha brand, you know, physical style football, and I think it's not just so much of what you seeing in the game, but also in how it carries over so that play that we saw juju standing over von TEZ Burfoot. It was because from the previous game before that they were mad at something that bond has burbot seen. So it's not just the physicality. It's the retribution that carries over. And then I think something that really gets understated is how much of that physicality like impacts the parents in the families. Because I remember, I think I was in vont births house with his mother at the time because we were doing a sitdown with Bontes and she was telling me she was like, Joe, you don't understand when I saw Joe over my baby like that. I wanted to tell everybody. I need to go into. This person, they don't mind still. In terms of now it's time for me to get paid back, things like that. Those feelings carry over. I know coaches can say, all they want to players in the locker room in terms of, let's not worry about all that extra curricular stuff fell just play football. There's a point in a game where players say to say, okay, it's on. Right? And it's just about sending a message. Coach makes the point that there were changes after that. The optics of this is not what the NFL is looking for. They've been clear about that. Keep it between the lines, it just some of that stuff just doesn't look. Good, doesn't translate to what they're trying to do in other Steelers news don't forget running back Levy on Belle, reportedly planning to report to the team next week that will take place during Pittsburgh's by week. The team continues to praise at least publicly James Connor, especially after his big week, five against the fountain. Here's what Big Ben had to say about Connor. If you look at the overall picture of what we've asked him to do every week, I think it's been going up every week, and I think that's what gets lost in in what are running back and what he's been doing is pass blocking picking up the blitz, catching the ball, the backfield. I don't want to jinx anything, but he's catching everything, throw it to him and he's in the right spot every time quickly. So I know we talk about, like you say, in terms of yards rushing, you may see that up and down, but in terms of just football player and running back play, it's been going up every week. I think James has done some amazing things that deserves to be on the football field. Also know lady on is and what he brings to the table. So. I guess we'll cross that bridge when if when it happens well, timed across the bridge, at least it seems so here here we are again the by week expected to be the time living on bell chooses to check an coach l..

"Darren, a defensive lineman to watch and week for a motor. I actually picking her Donald every week I had to, but he's going up against Mike remers that I just showed him to tape with the Minnesota Vikings all of line how they got pushed around last week, one opportunities. He's going that match. If you double, he's going to be disruptive in the run game and in the passing game, Aaron, Donald wouldn't be the guy that you need to watch this week. He's got his eye on this linebacker always had my eye on this linebacking Avantis David of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers going up against Kaga bears one of the best in the business to see him running around making hits like this versus the Pittsburgh Steelers Nagy in all the smoke and mirrors that he's gonna give them. You're gonna need a linebacker like this. To the cipher, and then in Tatton this is one of the best in the business of doing it. Vont Tapie watch him versus the best d. back to what Darren Woodson won't grow. Earl, Tom, we saw last week to interceptions and I know he's not practicing both. So what need it? You don't get those. Glaze. He didn't play the Josh Rosen young rookie with on a cardinals this week, their own balls in his direction. I wouldn't be surprised if he had another two interception day again. All right. Adam, Schefter I dare I even ask because it really is only one defensive store. Nine, it's got everybody talking competition commit last night by conference cold discussed, the enforcement roughing. The path has two rules. They reviewed videos, no changes, however, to ensure consistency in Fisher in the rule. The committee clarify techniques that constitute a foul. They're hoping to have some consistency this week, which is what the league as an ad, the first few weeks. But we've seen a lot of roofing, the Asser quarterbacks. It's rule that goes back to nineteen ninety-five. It's been emphasized again this year it'll continue to be an facade and Canadian probably be controversial as well. Yeah, it's a point of emphasis as they say. We've heard defensive players weigh in on this since the outset, but putting a quarterbacks have had comments as well. Here's a sample. Now, just knowing what's appropriate was not appropriate, especially for speaker, you know, like if you're going to tackle a guy like rocks for Cam Newton or something like that, you gotta you gotta give it all. You can't get those guys down, you know. And so is that going to be deemed as too much? It's hard. I mean, it's it's a Bank call for an official right. Cert- review every one of these. Now I'm out. I know for me to get three calls in a season of roughing, the passer is out of this world, let alone three games. So I, you know, you guys know me. They've been here. I don't. I don't really ever complain or talk about it. So to actually get get a couples kind of crazy issue with the rule change. You have to be willing to adapt based on the reactions from not only players, which is the most important reaction. But also the fan base is well try to make, you know, make safer. Deal cornerback mine, you know them trying to eliminate some of, you know, Dr driving into the ground and you know, just, you know, the plays that could cause injury. So, you know, I, I see both sides of the of the equation. Well, again, the competition committee says we looked at it. There's not gonna be any changes. We'll try to enforce it a little more consistently teddy. And I think to Adams point, this is likely going to continue to be an issue, the referee that mainly makes these calls in the back of the offense of backfield is going to have to determine what's what is the force. I mean, that's so hard for him to determine what the force of the weight, how much weight is putting on the player, right? You gotta study these officials at how they call it because they're starting to be different terp retations I think between different officials, whether it's current or it's the young Hockey League or Coleman guys like that, how is it called? And how is it interpreted? Players are going to have to learn that also learn how to bring him down. These are gained changing plays the. I mean, these are hinge plays where you've been taught your entire life..

"But I do think I'm gonna start using physical, you know, go run of non street squat. Adding start doing that. Okay. Okay. So we have gone off on a tangent again, which is totally not like the woman evolved podcast, but that's not that ain't no problem. That ain't no problem. That's what we here for. We hear the half one. Okay. Can we move onto the next rescue though? I'm ready this next rescue. I don't know. I think he's all right now. Let me tell you. I know because I have so much integrity and so much team spirit. The John wanna agree with most of the time we keep it pretty female Centric when we have our rescue stories, but every now and then Amanda something that eases his way into the conversation. And this time that men was vaunted Davis. Now, I know some of you aren't that familiar with football. Von Davis plays for the Buffalo Bills and they were playing on Sunday and they were losing. It was a mighty AOL taking place. The score was twenty eight to six and Vantaa David who has been in the league for about ten years, I think got to have time in decided to retire when they were down twenty two points. He retired. Right there in the middle of the game. Of course, football fans are shocked in apart. It's something like this could ever happen. What happened? The team spirit, they say, played until the end, they say, but vaunting said, I'm done and where is the exit. Now I want to start by saying this. At understand all of that raw raw team spirits to, but I would just like to submit for your consideration that voluntary was in the middle of playing a game. He was twenty two points down. Have y'all seen football? Okay. Real quick. I was going to a workout plan in the workout plan was to run a hundred yards ten times in the morning and into repeat that in the evening chat. I must let that this young keep mon- money. That's a donation cause I ain't gonna never be running a hundred yards ten times in the morning and in the night. Okay. But vantera does this all the time and was looking at the score and vont was looking at his knees and voluntary was filling his bag and voluntary was filling his shoulders and he was looking at how much work it was gonna take to even come out from that hall. And he said, I'm done and listen. I know you are want people to stay into the end and y'all want them to get their life together and all of that stuff. And, and I think that there is a lot of. Merit to that, but I don't think that we can drag him for light being like, I'm tired shoot. Now now, first of all act like y'all, I never just quit in the middle of something because you've been bit off more than you could chew. Now, I've been in a situation where I bit off more than I could chew, and I thought I was going to be able to do it until I realized I couldn't do it. And when I realized I couldn't do it, I had to stop in the middle of doing it because I can't do it..

"I think universally acknowledged that, yes, if you kind of look career, he obviously starts this kind of high school rapper who starts to at for college kids, all partying. And then beside park comes out and he enters like a second active, his career where he's working with like interesting producers trying to make almost like this backpack rap for like the LA vont guard seen working young rappers and then with two thousand sixteen coming around, he. And is like a whole new phase where he's working with live instrumentalists like under cat, you're mentioning earlier that he was himself like a talented musician, and that starts to really come through and then the divine feminine is this album that has a lot of breathing room in a way that a lot of rap album stone. He starts singing allot. He's like very, very comfortable with like a song, not really doing too much. It's like a very calm, happy vibe, e album. And some of it actually is, I think it sobriety is as much as anything it's is being in love, sober. All that stuff was kinda coming together. Although the, like we said, there is a sort of denial that really was as a whole about Arianna. You can feel it. It's it's mellow and he was in a mellow place when I spoke to him clearly in, you know, he's, as we heard in the interview clip, we just played, you know, he's he was talking about like making little planets with his music. There is something you know, there's a hippie side, Tim, you know, for sure. I think that like when I listen back to that album, it just sounds it's hard to say what. Counts for this, and I'm sure a lot of things in his personal life got him to this place, but it sounds really confident like it's not the album anyone expected him to make. And it was, I think, a real stride forward for him as an artist. He was suddenly like trying new things. He was writing songs that weren't rap songs, and I thought it was like a real decisive move from someone who'd already had to reinvent himself once where he'd had to work really hard for his reputation as a rapper and like get the respect of people like Jay z. And then he's like, you know what? I'm gonna do next. I'm singing about love. Yeah, he doesn't have traditionally good voice, but been kids are very open voice. I think it's one of those things where you can kind of hear him straining to hit the notes, and it just makes it feel a little more personal. And I think that I'll really worked for him. It kinda shifted into a new gear. He liked a lot of different music. He talked about his dad played him a lot of Bob Dylan. In fact, his dad apparently would actually pick up a guitar and singing Bob Dylan with that kind of thing. He liked Radiohead. He told me that the first hip hop. Tell me ever heard was was by Outkast and he was immediately kind of dislike hypnotized by it and drawn into it was immediately trying to wrap along. But I did ask him about singing about the transition to singing, and it actually starts out my bad. It starts out with Adam about Rick Rubin who had become like he wasn't producing him, but he was spiritual mentor to him and which is a, you know, probably if you know Rick. Rubin, probably a couple albums down the line. Maybe Rick would have become his producer, but he was hanging out playing music for him, and I asked him what Rick Rubin meant to him what he learned from him, and then we talk a little bit about a sing. So we'll hear that. A lot of. I think like the biggest life lesson I learned was just like being still like the how important it is. To quiet your mind those and just being honest with yourself and just to slow down. Yeah, like also for for Rick. Like I also gained a lot of confidence because I remember I've played in this music..
