"All back before that break we were talking about a Philadelphia woman named Jacqueline McBride and how she was arrested and charged with assault terroristic threat and harassment for spitting on not only a customer but on an employee as well insisting as it's also from a supermarket that she decided to spit on this employee. You have to this this this chick. Open your eyes to all of the things that essential workers have to deal with so not only. Are People going to work? And you know dealing with this pandemic but we're also dealing with customers that come in and just treat them any kind of way and substantially a lot of them. Get Away with it but I feel like in this case. This woman has been not only on this customer but this employee is well and she has gotten away with it but this time when she spit on the lady she was charged. And it's just so sad to see someone like that Dealing in my mind I think. She's dealing with some mental issues for her to go around spitting on someone but that was for the last segment in this segment. We were talking. We were talking about a woman in this segment. I wanted to talk to you guys about a woman who was wrongly pronounced dead so she woke up in a body bag. Wow so that if you guys have ever seen like those. Csi shows or or cold-case shows where they have to like pull pulled like the little bed metal bed and they have to see the body is just so scary to me because you often have to wonder like are they really dead or are they like sleeping and it's so weird but in this case someone actually had. That happened to them so a forty six year old. Paraguay woman who suffered from ovarian cancer was mistakenly declared dead after being treated by physician so gladys Rodriguez or aren't they had been admitted to San Fernando Clinic and Cornell of veto after experiencing an increase in her blood pressure two hours after being treated by her physician. Doron Tae was declared dead of survey of cervical cancer. The forty six year olds husband and daughter within handed a death certificate. Okay so I'm GONNA pause okay. Can you imagine that you know having a physician say hey? Your mom passed away of cervical cancer. Her blood pressure was skyrocketed. All of this other stuff being told you know your mom your wife has passed away and being a death certificate so your emotions are already high because not only did your wife die but the the the mother of your child passed away okay and in that daughters is okay my mom my mom passed away okay and and just doing with that rise of of God I lost my mom so durant as body was then transported to a funeral home where they noticed movement inside of the body back. Gloria was rushed to intensive care where she's currently a delicate but stable condition due to mistakenly pronouncing Gloria dead. Her husband Maximal Durante. Ferreira has filed a complaint against the doctor. He claims that they announced her passing on purpose because they no longer wanted to treat her. He said quote. He assumed she was dead in handed her naked to me like an animal with her death certificate. They disconnected her and past her to the funeral home without even trying to revive her in quote of another doctor. A fellow physician. He insisted that the doctor tried to revive Gloria and wasn't able to locate a pulse. He said quote he tried to revive her but it was unsuccessful in quote the physician speculates that Gloria may have suffered from collapse. Which is a condition identified by muscle raggedy and a complete lack of response to outside stimuli? So what do I feel about this situation? I'm already stated it a little bit but I just feel like there was such a high of emotion you know. I don't know how I would act. If someone were to tell me your mom passed away. Your emotions get really high. You're you're automatically going down. Your brain doesn't know what to do. Your your brain does not know how to process this so far this man you know this physician to tell her husband. Hey your wife passed away. The mother of your child has passed away. You know. Obviously someone that he really loves has passed away. He's given a death certificate. He's trying to process. This in his mind of the love of my life has passed away. The mother of my child has passed away. What am I GONNA do? How am I gonNA through this? There's more than like two steps to deal with the debt and then to turn around and say oh I was wrong. Your wife is alive. She was at the hospital right now. Now you go from sadness anger and I can definitely understand. You know why he was so angry. Ew You're messing with my emotions. You're messing with my family but most importantly you messing with my wife because you didn't even try to revive her so I can definitely see why he is so angry We have to keep in mind that physicians make mistakes because physicians are in fact people in this case. I if he couldn't find a pulse you know in her wrist. He could have looked you know in her neck if he there's different ways to find a pulse so for the fellow physician to say oh well the physician was trying to find. Poulsen. He couldn't find it. I don't I I don't I don't believe that not even for a second. I just don't Because how do you mistakenly say someone is dead and then to say to make up excuses? It also doesn't sound right as well I mean and and think again like How someone might have have have felt like how was that person who was transporting the body how they must have felt to see movement in the actual body bag where someone was supposedly supposedly passed away or or even at a funeral home where you know someone is supposedly passed away and then to just see that person like moving and getting up and wondering where the heck are they that to me is like. Oh my God like you're traumatized from then on so all of this. 'cause is an effect from this physician. Who mistakenly done it wrong now. If he did in fact do it on purpose to you know. Just get her out of of his hospital because he was tired of treating her. That's wrong okay. As a physician you took an oath to help people and in this fact if he did it because of that reason he really dropped the ball but if this was just a mistake like he he did not mean for this to happen. I feel really bad that he has had to deal with this. And he has to deal with anger of someone's husband so I'M GONNA pause this right here. And we're not gonNA talk about about a women's spitting on somewhere and we're not gonNA talk about someone passing away but not really passing away but in the next segment. We're GonNa talk about your von Davis. He is a very famous boxer. But in this case he's not famous because he has tried to pay for something with a fake check. We're GONNA talk about that in this next segment. Stick around always on the go but the day just won't be one without your Hollywood foot. Golden state media. Concept's Senator Tim podcast take care of that Jordan and Keith is entertainment tonight leads access Hollywood Jordan guy laughing. That's Ki Ki all inclusive look up pop culture. Hey everybody welcome back on that last segment. We were talking about a woman who woke up in a body bag after physicians were claiming that she passed away in this segment. However I wanted to talk about professional boxer Germont Davis and how he is being accused of attempting to scam a Philadelphia Jeweler out of two hundred thousand dollars. So here's the story on that the Jeweler Company Shine Jewelers Inc sued Davis for breach of contract according to court documents obtained by bosses up. Last April Davis allegedly purchased a Richard. Milly Watch with a blue band which amounted to a total of one. Hundred and Thirty Thousand Dollars Davis didn't stop there. He continued to splurge or attempt to splurge on more.

I mean, there's no there's nothing I think they disagree. You. It was tweeted it. Oh, well that it's definitely affect. He did it. I guess while we're doing most insane moment is this the only place we could talk about JR Smith throwing super coach. Well, I mean pretty much. Yeah. They could probably victory. Could be that could be biggest surprise we're giving it away, by the way. Teas should we have just listed the categories at the beginning. So that people would be we can't go back very already to be. You know, what if we were sitting in a studio never would. I haven't I know Jay comfortable at my house. It's that's what it is. We're atro- sitting on your floor and get enough to tell everybody everything next category. Oh, we didn't really settle on. What this one was called? It was what I thought you were saying we didn't settle the most insane. I'm sorry. I won that one already decided not number three. Biggest non story slash most over hyped story. On the third category in you're already doing a slash. You wanted to call a big it's non story. But then you gave an explanation, which is fine. We're calling it biggest non story in. What does that mean? That means that people talked about it a lot. And it was nothing like it was kind of into 'climactic who's like a huge buildup for like. Nah, no, real meat on those bones. You know, not very meaty. Okay. Why don't you give me an example? What are you thinking about tiger in general? But specifically he's back is he back back is he back finally one. But it was like cool. He won one tournament. Yeah. It was going to say tiger. And Phil yet. I'll see it should just be Tiger Woods. Well, we know you don't like him. That's not fair you hate him. So my don't talk about it all the time. Eat him. I just don't like how much we talk about him for someone who's not currently good at his. He's actually pretty he's like think the betting favourite right now doesn't that's been came to that on him? He's not as bad as I thought. That he was. But you're staying on that that you. Yes. Okay. So we're both going with tiger. I roll. Oh god. I feel like yeah, I'm digging through my brain about things people made a big deal about that ended up being nothing. But that's just called sports media. We make this are Bissau. We bought our bread, can you? I mean that was anemic. Jay's he's gonna get mad because it's going to be really loud. That was sing asks. Okay. What if instead you just did it? Okay, fine. You can. Sorry, I yelled. Number four number four. What are we got most boss move? I have a good one for this. So let's just you better. Be. Oh, do you want me to own dateline first? So that yours mine. Trump's yours. Yes. Okay. Tom Brady kissing his kid on the mouth. What takes a real buff to have the balls to do that. But that's not. That's what I would say if I were an idiot. But that's not what I'm picking Robbie by your reaction. I clearly was Brost moves open mouth kissing. You're kidding. It was not that open. It was it was slightly ajar. It was it was it was cracked mouth. I see. I had. I had the different. I bet you did you did know. So obviously like I said, I was joking. Most boss moment. Both boss move. Yep. Is a reggae Goumba Wally. Nope. That's later. What that's later. You can't just say. That's dammit. I picked what I pick. Okay. You can't just say that's late. That's not how this works year. Well, you're that person who loves to win, but you change the rules. So that you win which isn't fair technically this. Okay. So you weren't with Tom Brady. No. I didn't. I'm gonna go with von Davis. Retiring after the balls meds of Boston another really good boss move..

"Making the right choice every time. Then he's really accurate NF letting if you get to break a couple of tackles spin out in zip dark to beckoning zone, I think he might be on the best quarterback of all time. Yeah. Wow. Wow. Patrick Bohol fame that I just hear that you heard it. I said that you heard it. You feel it wait a minute. You said what I said at first he might see games. Wait a minute. Tommy you're a measured, man, your man of reason you are discerning analysts that feels like knee jerk of the moment three games into the Mahomes career that you're willing to look and see that he's beyond Aaron Rodgers. I'm going to go and punch you in the Larry. I'm gonna hug you. Gotta go and get out front as my man. Chris Cody would say, I mean. I mean, there's an opportunity to stake my claim you got, and I might be somewhat argue that I'm a little late with this claim steak, but you know how feel about Andy Reid, you gotta Andy Reid, you got talent. You got a smart guy. You got talent all over the field. Mahomes can throw the ball Scott. Sling, it. Maybe I like that take, but you can't say you can't say he's got a chance you gotta declare it right now. We've worked on this. You had to Claire right now. Okay, plant your flag that right now, a lot of people really like Patrick Mahomes. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Let's give you the sound bite. So you could do it for sportscenter. So you could say the thing that perhaps we could put out over the entire network where your saying, the thing that carries us on tomorrow. Wednesday is Dominique Foxworth right? That Patrick Mahomes will be the best quarterback ever so be definitive about it and just like really punch it up here. You got thirty seconds. Everybody get out of the way three to one. A lot of people really like Patrick Mahomes watch him. He doesn't special things. People think he's going to be good. Some people even think you could be a hall of fame, but I'm here to tell you Patrick Mahomes will be the greatest passer in NFL history, Tom Brady era. Joe montana. Patty hall of fame, I don't think any sounds are getting it right. It's got twenty jokes in it. It's got to be more serious. Your we're Joe sounds sound. Can't be Aaron Rodgers met. That's. I'm you agree with that radius. Put it on the poll Guillermo through three games is Brady at with a bunch of ages. Homes. How about this. Patty Mahomes is a bad man better. You'll be careful with that that belongs to Stephen, a Smith and Aaron Rodgers. You are blaspheming. Okay. Okay. Patrick Mahomes is a good man. Bit of a rip-off. Cody, you must have felt Dominic decided to write a humanizing piece on vantera Davis quitting at halftime. You must have hated von Davis quitting at half time. This must have made you insane. Peace and Dominic space. Trying to portray vantera Davis is an actual human being. I thought it was a little weird what von day did, and he was a dolphin for a while. So I I know a little bit, we'll the end of the game, at least right. I mean, but I don't mind him quitting in the middle of a season or in the middle of of two games, but just not not at halftime. What's the difference between halftime and and three games? Four games are ten games with the different. It's just nothing more that it puts your coach and your defense in a weird uncharted situation that they shouldn't have to deal with. But I mean, he's not playing if you wanna go out there and not play. Well, I just don't want him to be. Be unnecessary distraction. When it can be, it'll was so distracting. They beat the Vikings the next week twenty seven to six striking that game. I promise you that my bad. They were already down like twenty one. But good for him doing what he feels is right? You know, good for him his life. Now mine that sounded insincere like like Stephen as Smith's happy birthday on Huby Brown. He'll be Brown. Stu gods is now eighty five years old. So happy birthday to Huby Brown from Stephen Smith. Happy birthday to his home. Care. Good luck. You didn't sound like good for him. You sound like you've made a whole career out of ripping the the athlete..

"Everything was normal, and then he was out in the field to Dominic Foxworth himself a former NFL player. Terp mature. Yeah, and play that position. Yes. Go ahead and basically said, when at some point on the field, he said, I knew I shouldn't be out that went and told one of his coaches. John Butler says, I'm done. They put another guy on there for the last couple of place before the half. And he said, look, I, I know people don't understand. I don't really care. I did this for me. I left everything on the field and just realized that that moment I should be on the Texas wife texted his brother and set at the end. It was therapeutic for me. And for you. Yeah, it's you have a commitment to the other people on the team, this team sports? Yes. This is golfer ten. He doesn't have a commitment now because he's not on the teacher quit. Just just seem. I think that even people who liked von Davis would say, I wouldn't have done that. I wouldn't've done that. Yeah, can't you just finish out in the game. Out in the locker room say, say, I'm hurt, you know, my knee hurts my on, say something like that with my. Okay. Antonio Brown. Also talking this guy. Adjust the media yesterday and said, you guys don't know me at all you guys just right. You think you're going to hit everyone in his room. Knows what I stand for knows about. I'm committed to this program and this organization, and this is what I know. You love. Here's the line. This is the best one. I think. I we by ample. I come to work every day when you didn't come to work Monday. We're having this conversation because you didn't come to work Monday. And then he said, well, that was personal, you know? Okay. And he said the coach knows well, coach knows now we'll just now you can't say I come to work every day when you just missed Monday? Yes, Kim seems a bit odd seems bid on that team's got a chance to blow up Monday night. At Tampa at Tampa chance to blow up right eye looks like it. Yeah, Freeman early though, for Bleacher report earlier this week about how Tomlin is essentially lost that locker room and it's well that's a Terry Bradshaw Terry Bradshaw positions. Thomas that I've always liked Tom, what else? The NHL has spended max Domi of the Canadians for the rest of the preseason after a sucker punch on Florida's Erin. Eck Blad on Wednesday night. Okay. So max Domi is the son of tie Domi tie Domi for years, made a living with the Rangers beating people on its that was our job. Now. He was also he was, you can't get to the NHL just being a fighter. You know, they're not giving you the roster spot. I mean, he was a fine. You got to be able to do these things to do this in an exhibition game. Eck did wanna fight. He didn't wanna fight. It was fighters should only be allowed to fight fighters. They shouldn't be allowed to. He punches them three or four times right in the face. It's just you shouldn't be allowed to do this. And then he misses the exhibition. So. Who cares about the exhibition season. He should get five games. The first five games of the regular season. The NHL should say, this is not what we want. We're okay with fighting between two people who are willing to fight, but we don't want this. We still want this. I mean, I don't know how good at blot is, but in Gretz he didn't fight. But if you touched Gretzky eight guy. I was gonna get you. Back then you didn't need to. I mean, they have actual goons, but now everyone can play. That's not happy with them. What else you got anything did you want to talk about? No, I wanna talk about that an ogre that I've long and probably more complicated than I can handle. I think we'd all agree about that. Then I will tell you this one story. Can we ask Kevin about weather short? Are we into the weather? Not. He's got a job. I just I just saw a podcast. Yep. Kevin, Sheehan show dot com. And on. "Shannon, Sharpe Dion Sanders and LT Damien Thomas in all three hall of famers. Yep. All three guys who I think give tremendous commentary it. They get it why? To me there. Sort of bravado of like, finish it out, man, finish it out. Why'd you man up sack up and finish out? No, this guy looked at and thought about his family as he was on the field and said, I can't do this anymore. I don't have the desire. You have to want to do it now. Now there may have been a better perhaps optical way to present, which is at halftime go to the coach and say, I feel dizzy. I feel like I don't have Michael Librium and I cannot play the second half and I'm having concerns about my future. But then again, you know, you're in the middle of a game. You might not have either million times. I look back at something in my life and I'm like, I could've played that better. So he probably could've played it better. But you can't begrudge this guy and every single every single football player on the NFL network ask them if their kids wanna play, they want their kids to play football. She's gonna be Jordi of them would say, no, we don't want you to go through what we. You know why? Because because. A lot of those guys have money from their career. Other way Dion Sanders and bunch of other hall of famers just sent a letter to the hall of fame saying, we may not attend next year until you pay our health insurance until you pay us a salary. Now, I don't think they went about that the right way because they only were asking for money for themselves. What they should have done is you should be an f. l. your fourteen billion dollar year business. You should be putting money aside for me and maybe they will. And there was a selfish letter. In my opinion, they should've should've spoken on behalf say, we're the hall of famers and we carry the most weight. We should speak on behalf of all the all the players. The guys will only played two years ago, three years. The guy play though we are speaking Davis, von Davis, who will not be a hall of Famer played for ten years at a really good career and then quit at halftime. But these guys sitting on the couch making fun of auntie Davis for for any at the way he did in my opinion, is disrespectful to how like to me, they shouldn't have been making fun of him to me. They should have used this as a point to say, this is how hard football is. It's the type of sport that makes a really good man wanna retire at halftime. So it makes there they were diminishing him and it makes their accomplishments look better if they're like, this is what you say about comedy. When whenever and we'll wrap with this, whatever we see a comedian on stage who's struggling. We never say that person sucks. Always like comedies. Heart. Yeah, comedies. These heart. It's not an easy thing to do. NFL is hard. Football is hard. It's hard on these guys lives. Anytime they want bow out. I think you gotta give them a chance and you and you gotta give them the credit or at least say, hey, look, he played for ten years. He step it out. He can't do it anymore. You know, I respect the guy to put his family first. Yeah. What this? What I would say ladainian Tomlinson. What if he said I'm doing this for Jesus, your God guy, would you say like you did it for the right reasons? What if the came out and said, this is all Jesus spoke to me and half time and said, don't play anymore. You're gonna fight. He's gonna fight. No sit on the couch making fun of this guy because he made a big boy decision. The actually really thought about it is greed. His Instagram is Instagram about advantage is highly encourage everyone to do that because it was actually one of the most thought out. Well, reason reasons why you would quit the game when he did. And so he maybe didn't do it at the right time, but you know what I'm gonna. Give credit for making the big decis high..

We hear the half one. Okay. Can we move onto the next rescue though? I'm ready this next rescue. I don't know. I think he's all right now. Let me tell you. I know because I have so much integrity and so much team spirit. The John wanna agree with most of the time we keep it pretty female Centric when we have our rescue stories, but every now and then Amanda something that eases his way into the conversation. And this time that men was vaunted Davis. Now, I know some of you aren't that familiar with football. Von Davis plays for the Buffalo Bills and they were playing on Sunday and they were losing. It was a mighty AOL taking place. The score was twenty eight to six and Vantaa David who has been in the league for about ten years, I think got to have time in decided to retire when they were down twenty two points. He retired. Right there in the middle of the game. Of course, football fans are shocked in apart. It's something like this could ever happen. What happened? The team spirit, they say, played until the end, they say, but vaunting said, I'm done and where is the exit. Now I want to start by saying this. At understand all of that raw raw team spirits to, but I would just like to submit for your consideration that voluntary was in the middle of playing a game. He was twenty two points down. Have y'all seen football? Okay. Real quick. I was going to a workout plan in the workout plan was to run a hundred yards ten times in the morning and into repeat that in the evening chat. I must let that this young keep mon- money. That's a donation cause I ain't gonna never be running a hundred yards ten times in the morning and in the night. Okay. But vantera does this all the time and was looking at the score and vont was looking at his knees and voluntary was filling his bag and voluntary was filling his shoulders and he was looking at how much work it was gonna take to even come out from that hall. And he said, I'm done and listen. I know you are want people to stay into the end and y'all want them to get their life together and all of that stuff. And, and I think that there is a lot of. Merit to that, but I don't think that we can drag him for light being like, I'm tired shoot. Now now, first of all act like y'all, I never just quit in the middle of something because you've been bit off more than you could chew. Now, I've been in a situation where I bit off more than I could chew, and I thought I was going to be able to do it until I realized I couldn't do it. And when I realized I couldn't do it, I had to stop in the middle of doing it because I can't do it..

You came up with a fine system and that's not a fine is what I'm saying. I came up with a fine system. My making a mistake is not a fine. Sorry. I'm blown away by how many people in social media, how many people with microphones, how many people on this network thought that's over the top. That's not right. There's someone on our networks, celebrating this. Not that I'm aware of guy quit for the Buffalo Bills and we've cast down judgement on whether or not I think people are just laughing at the bills there aren't. They probably listen. I laughed at their expense. I said, what's the deal? The rest of the team retired in the second quarter. So, I mean, I think people had some fun at the expense of the Buffalo Bills shirt Hellawell. What. Invite that. I liked it the first three times you made the joke. I just I have a feeling that you'll come around and and listen. I wanted to just kinda point out and lend a hand, what will Cain was saying. That's all that people are making fun of this. They are o..

"Whoa. Put me on a reporter task. Dodgers back in first place for the first time feels like forever house, half game up on the Colorado Rockies. They win last night Hyun Jin Ryu was really, really good. Here's Dave Roberts talking about review last night. He's he's always been a big game pitcher, and I've seen it from the other side for him to be healthy and set the tone for this series. Incomplete command tonight. Stuff was really good and we fed off of him and it was good to see and obviously got Clayton and Walker going the next two games, but the pitching defense, the offense day will played. This couldn't have set a better for the dodgers. They come off of the series in Saint Louis where the one, three, two, four. You come back to play the team that you're chasing and you have your three best guys. You have review last night pitcher, seven innings pitched very well. You get Kershaw tonight, your number one guy. And then I would argue that you have your number one a in Walker bueller pitching on the back end of that. And you got a chance to create a ton of space but enough space to at least you can take a breath at the end of this series. If you win this game tonight, and that's the key. The key is winning this game tonight. The Katina to separate yourself. You get one up on Colorado, you hope that AirAsia gets beat again, and you just continue to keep moving. And like you said, you got walkable on the mound tomorrow night. So as long as that happens in go on and take on the Padres, which we all will soom what's like we did for the reds that the dodgers would take care of business with the Padres that they didn't do necessarily with the red. So you know, it's a big thing for them to make sure that they continue to manufacture run, especially for Kershaw because they've had him in tight situations. The last several outings where when he's left a game, he's had a commanding one, maybe two gamely two run lead or even tied at times, and then they bring in the middle reliever in reliever becomes a disaster. It's it's a beautiful thing. When we played the way the dodgers compla- we are I in a National League ERA. You saw that. Yesterday we are near the top in terms of run differential Usov all that yesterday. This season has always been about those two aspects of team be on the same page for the game, which doesn't always happen. But as much as we talk about, you know, the struggles of guys, I can't Jensen. I just looked it up. He second nationally can say, yeah. So despite the struggles to despite the issues that he's, he's still one of the top five closers in all of baseball. Where's he? Where's he. What your numbers I understand that, but can maybe it's unfair. Maybe maybe the standard that I'm holding. Two is unrealistic, but the standard on holding kenley Jansen to is the standard that kenley Jansen is established in his entire career. He does have the saves that you're talking about z. but kenley Jansen used to be in there. You'd hear California love. He comes out and boom, boom, boom, you're nights over and he shaking hands. And now he comes out and it's all right. Here we go. Let's see which kenley we're gonna get tonight that it's not that just one, two, three. This thing is over cutter, cutter, cutter, cutter thing is over just everything about it is much less. Go ahead Rosh. No, we have breaking news out of Pittsburgh guess Keyshawn. Johnson, of course, has decided. But apparently Keyshawn city probably got a doctor's note from Mike Tomlin of Tomlin has not spoken to him. You'll be around. Therefore my rights Kogyo. Now. I need to get back because it has gone betting my right horn. Valve. See here you're saying? Yeah, I would say I would say this is very interesting. In the wake of the news that just came across ESPN is that in Tonio Brown has not spoken to Mike Tomlin. Mike Tomlin is looking forward to speaking with Antonio Brown as he takes a day off in an unexcused. Absence is what is being somewhat party on bail or von Davis..

"We've got open locker room here first time on on, you know, first time this season Wednesday, it's open locker room. We will not discuss anybody who is not a part of this team is currently constructed lives in that locker room. Do I make myself understood? We are one hundred percent focused on Cleveland. You know, we're on to Cincinnati, were onto Cleveland Browns the fact that you don't have that conversation and you don't. He came out. In talked about Twitter and talked about his players like going after, you know, levian bell or whatever they would. It was some some Twitter and he's like, I don't even. I don't worry. Oh, no, no, no. It was in Tonio Brown. Who earlier in the week threatened to punch one of the beat writers for the Steelers, right? Punch him in the mouth. You remember that and this is on Twitter. He threatened him on Twitter, and instead of saying, instead of addressing it in his in his press conference and saying, you know, we don't. We don't. That's not going to be allowed here. And instead of doing something about it, Mike Tomlin said, well, I don't miss. You know, it's Twitter. It's not real. You know, there's a Ballata hyperbole that goes, I'm not gonna. I don't address the Twitter. I don't worry about that. Well, you better worry about it because guess what? It's a distraction to your football team. And I mean, they have way too much. Talent there. Oh one and one. They away too much talent and you know what? I don't have any doubt that they'll get it together and they'll win a lot of games and you know what the but you know where they won't win. They won't win the playoffs against New England. They won't win in the playoffs against the discipline team. They'll get their ass kicked like they have for last six years in a row. There's no easy way to transition to. So I'm just gonna ask you, have you ever seen anything like what happens Monty Davis. This is this just all I hear as a fan. Okay. All I've heard is that you know, what would you miss most about playing their ex athlete? Oh, man, I missed. I missed a relationship. Karuma rod or Ryan miss the law. I missed the idea of, you know, my guy next to me and I'm battling for him and he's battling for me. So if all that stuff is true. How in the hell do you decide that you're legacy after ten years in the NFL is to just quit? Not retire, right. Quit at halftime. You come in the locker room instead of taking your pads off and they're like, what are you doing? Are you just changed sweaty now, take a shower pill. I don't wanna play here anymore. I'm just going to go. It's like a scene right out office space. Are you going to tell them? You're gonna, bright. Are you going to tell them? Are you going to tell them? You're not gonna show up? No, I just don't wanna go anymore. Yeah, but you're gonna quit? No, I'm not going to quit. Just not gonna show up. I mean, did the did the due to the psychologist from officemate hypnotized Monty Davis. I mean, you remember the pain you're getting getting there. You're, you're falling, you're falling deeper. Meanwhile, he's pumping his his left arm because he's having a heart attack, and then he just kills over dead. I have no idea how like how you do that. And then I start thinking, I mean my Lord, like that's your shoe legacy. Yeah. I mean, you're going to be remembered. Yeah, right. So not for ten years? No. Sometimes maybe infant infamy is better than than being famous, but you're going down with that being your legacy walked out at halftime of his team. I mean, it's crazy. I started thinking, what kind of endorsements could he do like do something for the American Heart Association. Listen, if you don't have enough heart to finish, you know what I mean? The the quit line smokers, quit line like a be like me and quit. Aren't companies get to reach out to retirement planning, Comey, eighteen or eight? What is it? A Ameritrade, whatever it is. Mayor Trie Ameritrade, retirement planning. Listen, I am von Davis. I'm bowling retirement going over tyrant. Sometimes it hits you like a ton of bricks. Are you prepared? Are you prepared? I am guy stole for ten years and I walked away and he that's a good pro. He was a good player. He was starting that day..

"People forget John Kruk did the same thing. He got a single in Baltimore God, his average up to three hundred and then walked off the field, but his teammates knew that he was going to do that. Okay. I didn't know that I didn't wasn't wasn't aware of that part, but yeah. So I mean, what von Davis did, I mean goes against everything I was ever taught. I had a plantar fasciitis when I was a kid at eleven years old playing on my father wouldn't let me quit because of that injury, he said, you made commitment to your teammates. You're gonna stick out the season. So it's just it's mind boggling. Well, and thanks for the whole. There's got. I just don't agree with these columnists who say we should look at vaunted Davis as a hero because he knew when it was time to quit. I couldn't. You've just finished the game. You don't want to be known for this at a ten year career. He's a Pro Bowl cornerback for two years. Now, people are gonna go, vantera, David, all that's the guy quit as we pointed out in the first hour, no matter what he does. He goes to a party him and his wife. He can't leave halfway through. They're going to go, you leave halfway through. Can't stay for the whole party here. But I don't view him as a hero, and I'd still love to ask him if that game was in Los Angeles against the chargers. Would you have quitted halftime because then what are you gonna do. You gotta get a flight back home. You're gonna sit in the locker room. There's nothing heroin about that in my opinion. Ain't got our poll question mclovin. Yeah. What would you have not believed a month ago? Mahomes leading league touchdowns Cleal MAC being with the bears, Josh Gordon patriot or when Ryan Fitzpatrick lighting up the NFL and Brian Fitzpatrick leading the Paul Ryan Fitzpatrick the buccaneers quarterback joining us. Where are you today? Ryan. Good morning. I am sitting in the quarterback room watching some Pittsburgh Steelers film right now. Pretty exciting stuff. I can tell you got popcorn, you got, what do you get doughnuts? Yeah, I got my. I got a water and a coffee in front of me. So. Riveting riveting. All right. You're watching Mahomes light up the Steeler defense, first of all, what do you think of Mahomes. So I actually haven't gotten to that game yet, but it is. It is amazing. You know the start that he's been on, especially since you know, he hadn't had much experience. I think he has three starts to now. Two of them have been this year and it's it's insane. The numbers that he's putting them. Can you be young and naive? Can that be a good thing for a quarterback. Yeah, definitely can. But I think the the older you get the more you realize how difficult this game is..

"But yeah, I pretty much really only wanna talk about von Davis because he's a hero in deserve such. We've got to get him on the show. He's got the free time. Just leaves mid interview divine again. True to brand. The warning it is crazy. I almost want to do. Like we've seen a lot of people's social media's history come back to bite them specifically this like past twelve months. Oh, yeah. For for pro athletes and like the past twelve weeks. So I was always under the impression like go back and scrub it now. It's almost like I wanna as part of our firm where we offer that service. It's also like we offer teams like, hey, what signs like piece this puzzle together for me, what are we missing? Yeah, I could've sniff followed. Monty, Davis is I would through my consultation company. I would've told the bills but weeks ago, but also would have told bonday Davis be throws me a little extra. I won't tell the bills, right? Yeah, I'm gonna need to hold like twenty percent. Yeah, and I feel like you degree for sure because every made pretty sure it was if he made the week one roster the five Miller's guaranteed after basin in he, they shared that you sure did. Right. So it's like I can either tell the bills and they'll give me five like five percent of that. Saved them for million like in their pockets or vonda gets four million either way. I'm coming out on top here. Correct? Revanche as well. But yes. Either way the bills losers are imitates lot. Yeah. I mean, it's that team stinks, but somehow not the stinky esteem in the league. I've actually it's weird like I, even though the patriots got fucking throttled yesterday boy, did they like two weeks through? I've enjoyed pretty much every game. I've seen in front of me. It's been some. I didn't see much of the lions Niners with. I'm not really interested in lions football, but it doesn't sound like there's been bad games. I think tonight with Seahawks bears, that should be interesting at least. Yeah, I'm interested in. I don't wanna see Khalil Mack. Like the the running back Chicago has none of the raiders. But yesterday. Buddy. I got some bad news for you. Shutout mo- Hearst, Massachusetts guy went to Michigan was supposed to be a first round, pick heart, like had problems at the combine. They sent him home, raider scooped him. I think like the third or fourth like way later than they should have got his first career sack acid. I feel good for him. Pretty good. Is the heart okay though? I mean, it was like one of those things that they find at the combine, and then I think it's just going to be a red flag. Certain teams took him off their board, like is cleared, but still we're not. We're not gonna touch them because you never know. Yeah, but I would hope I would sincerely hope that if he's playing, he's made it what four weeks of preseason in two weeks of the regular season, I would hope he spent cleared. I will find out like week, seven. That's never been on the field. That's what I made. I hope that doesn't happen because I'd be just an all-time tragedy, but so far looking so good. So happy for him. Writers do stink, though stink bed. I think it's going to take them in the bills. I think it'd be the worst team in the league. No cardinals cardinals are awful. Oh, yeah, cardinals get. I didn't see any of that gadgets all the school rooms that sounds bad, right? They've gotten out gained something crazy. Like over two games, it's like six hundred to one hundred yards. It's crazy. They're their points, four, six points against fifty eight for me. Me negative fifty two. Like maybe Rosen will give him a spark, but. Have they announced him starter because they should know they haven't yet. Maybe they don't want to cause. I feel like one of their Lyman before that yet one of their Lyman did go down before the year even started. That's never a great sign now, but it also shouldn't be this like maybe that's just the best offense lime mentally blanket on his name right now. Fuck, he's gone. McAfee show Ludd. So upsetting. Any who. Aching, Shipley ache you Sean as a center, right? Yeah, inside lime. Yeah. So he could. I remember he got hurt in the cardinals still gave him like right after he got hurt..

"No. And I have to question whether they knew he was hurt, votes, of course bouquets. Right? I mean, oh, in sixteen, okay. They were not the best team in football. They were the worst team in football, but they're inventing ways to lose games now by the way, Greg, Joseph's, the kicker, they'd signed today as the determining what to do, what we can zealous this me too said they knew he was injured. I'm playing, we'll move up by herself. Three Dame Davis retiring at halftime from the bills. His statement afterwards said it struck him suddenly, and he knew. Weekly, mentally. He shouldn't be out there. Frank, I sold if you read that as a principled and forthright decision, or is selfish move for a comet halftime when your team is getting work because a lot of players come out today and are anti von Davis here? Yeah, I don't know what's in his head or in his heart, but I think everything that we know about sports, it goes against it. The idea of just quitting right in the middle of the game. I completely understand why his teammates are upset with them teammates. I wish he had come to that conclusion at ten o'clock in the morning, and that's all I agree. You can't do it this way. I'm sorry, all the nobility, all patched to his payments and all the fact is you've got to finish the deal. You do? Oh, it to a team meeting comes. I am not comfortable judging from walking way because their life can change an instance that I do think his teammates had every right to be critical of decision, especially how he went about it and position that he put them in during the game when you it's, I'd Meyer the honesty and forthrightness with which he came out and made that statement. It made sense, and it's not easy to do it. Brief move gra- happy. For me, the decision that you've felt that he needed to do in the middle of rage. Decision for himself because not many, it seems like football players at this moment or there with you in that respect. Have. Have you ever quit a job on the spot. I wouldn't want to have Clinton. "You see what I'm saying? I'm just mad enough to walk away from it. It's when you get to this point in time when I was talking about this last night when you reach this point, you know what you do. You want me to the locker room. You put your uniform in the middle of the clothes. You take a shower, get dressed. You look around, you realize I'm never coming back in another locker room again. You do out? I've never skip. I see. I when I heard it, I like I'm reading to it into coming up on the thing that's coming, bounty Davis retires. I'm how they retire, how you retired doing the game. I've never ever heard, and I heard listen, I've share some stories and I've heard some stories, but this might be one of the strangest stories in my fourteen years of playing and being around for another fifteen years that I've ever heard all my life. So I'm with you on this. I have zero use four zero respect for vantera Davis saying no moss at halftime. If he wanted to do it after the game he wanted to today. I'm fine with that because this was predictable to me. If you look at his recent history, I don't think his mind or his body was into what was going on on the football field. And he knew it just like me. She Tate said she knew. So let's look quickly back in his career. He was a twenty fifth pick in the first round for the Miami Dolphins, and he was basically a bust in Miami night traded him to Indy. And he sort of found himself. He's found a second home in a second life in Indianapolis, and in twenty fourteen and twenty fifteen. He made the Pro Bowl and he got his money. He got twenty million guaranteed. He has made fifty four million dollars for his career, but right on schedule last year, he tears his groin early in the year. Says he needs surgery, which he did. So he had surgery and indie said, we are out your done and we cut you at the end of the year, and I'm pretty sure he's thinking, am I done yet? Like is, is it? But buffalo calls and says, hey, we'll give you two million more. And on top of the two million guaranteed we'll give you fifty thousand dollars a game that you make the forty six man roster. So he's thinking, I don't know. It's pretty easy money, right? And they gave one point five and to fully guaranteeing base. All right. Okay. So he's saying this is just like easy money right steel in, but you still have to actually play football. So what happened in OT as he was not ready to play yet, he was not healthy coming off his surgery. What happened in training camp? He could not play what happened in the season opener this year. The first game he was in active and what happened? Right on schedule buffalo, probably the worst team in the league. They have so many injuries at corner inveigh play, play him. And not only do they have to suit him. They had to start him and what happens right away. In that game, you saw this. Mike Williams gets wide open and victimizes. This guy von Davis. A former pro bowler is a shame that he's just getting lit up. He just doesn't wanna play anymore opponent. Okay, so he should've stopped, but he's trying to steal the money and guess what? He they, they yanked him after the the first touchdown pass. It was a seven, nothing touchdown pass to Mike Williams. They Yankee him and they bench him and he's saying, what do I need this? For sure, he's overreacted from his post. This is Instagram post, whatever it looked like. He was kinda trying to apologize between the lines by saying, I never said I shouldn't have done this, but he basically just telling you this is how Embiid my retirement and he, as you mentioned, skip he the shot fighter, but when somebody says, okay, here's one point. Five million will guarantee you two million and every every game that you on the roster. You get fifty thousand. City plus you a veteran player so he could have made what five million dollars this year alone. Right? But come, oh, no, I don't hear what they do at this. You only had to do all added to do is come back out and stand on the side..

"I don't know when he comes back and I think he's going to be to define his point in and out of the lineup. I still don't have one hundred percent of confidence in the falcons red zone. Offense either looked a lot better yesterday, though, serves doors on four trips including two, rushing touchdowns for Matt Ryan. Both first round wide receivers caught touchdown passes in this game yesterday, DJ more at a fifty one yard for Carolina, and Calvin really had four catches for sixty four yards on five targets including a score Goud ASEAN get more involved worth noting. However, there are other players that still have a prominent role in this passing game Austin Hooper Amundsen new. So I'm not quite there in terms of Ridley being a weekly starter, maybe an interesting guy at the end of your bench. But Julio Jones goes five for five for sixty four on nine targets. Just couldn't seem to connect with Julio, but that's not going to be the norm. This offense is still going to go through Julio Jones. I'm with you on. We agree on Ridley for the hairline Panthers. It was the first. Game without Greg Olsen, and we saw the target distribution shakeout any particular way, holy cow Christian McCaffrey, we target that. I mean, this. I know a lot of it is, but we thought the combination of the injuries for Lanta in the middle of the field and the absence of Olsen really set up for nice McCaffrey game. I don't know that he gets that many touches every time going forward, but I thought it was. It was. It was terrific. He might. He might. I mean, you guys know love Christian McCaffrey. I have him in almost every league. I'm all about the CMC. CMC was great yesterday. Devin. Funchess also had seven catches on nine targets for seventy seven yards. Chris Mortenson said Jerry's, right? Could be fantasy longshot yesterday and ice called by mort here five for sixty two with a touchdown on seven targets maybe deeply get. Remember. He came over from Minnesota where he was familiar with the system Scott in north Turner. Now they're orchestrating the Carolina offense by the way shoutout to Cam Newton. We ESPN fantasy published my my rankings, my quarterback rankings. I'd Cam Newton to for the week, and I got all sorts of grief about Cam Newton on the Twitter. Which is weird because usually people are really positive and plight there. But for some reason, this one particular time people really angry and negative about Cam Newton at two and they're, you know, asking about behind that offensive line and he always struggles against the land and blah blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah anyway, three hundred thirty five yards. Three touchdowns five or forty. Two rushing twenty seven point, six fantasy points. I feel like that's good. Is that good field and is pretty darn good, just making sure fantastic. Not quite Eric Ibran level, but no good from canvas. The colts get there first and I take this section. I take this off deuce Fe. Go von Davis at right now. I will have this for the rest of the show for the love that Eric Ibran score for the second time in as many weeks to find you is a possible that we wrote off Eric Iran to, or I know. Career to the, I went to camp and I think when I came back, I told you how much the Jack Doyle was actually talking about how great Erkki hands word I was. I felt like saying, have you have you watched them? Because that's not what I've seen the colts saw something in him his great at what like giving you a Sasha's like what's going on over there? Like how hands great. They catch the football creates matchup nightmares. He's they clearly worksite about him, but I told you what I saw practice drop after drop after drop with a Hazel, super big play. So I still think consistency has the potential to be a problem for Iran, I still believe that Jack does most trusted target, although we haven't seen it yet. I think Eric Brown has upside for short and this offense, but I worry about the consistency. This is my worst nightmare. I'll be completely honest. This is my worst nightmare by Redskins completely Neg. They were awful. They were brutal. This is awful loss for the team at home against a colts team that they were favorite against..

He's got real left side outside the numbers, ten five touchstone chargers. Melvin Gordon with a twenty yard run. Chargers gave him a little bit. I can't be the voice of the around the NFL podcast, Matt money Smith KFI with the call and some other guys started talking about it doesn't matter. The chargers were the lucky team that you the bills in week two, and they made the most of it a thirty one twenty win in orchard park. Melvin Gordon matched a career high three touchdowns. Philip rivers threw for three scores posting passer rating north of one forty, the bolts. Have your heart again, Greg, or is it just, you know, bills? I never. They never lost my heart. This is going to be a fun team to watch whenever Philip rivers and get three touchdowns in the first twenty minutes. I mean, okay, you know, you got a tough team with the chiefs coming and maybe you lose that game. But if you want a team to go on the road and beat a hapless also ran like the bills that charges are your team, what a cell. So if you've got a really bad team, we got a team for you to take care of eight two weeks. This season. I'm as excited about them offensively as they put up five hundred thirty yards. I'm a little worried about the defense, but we'll have to see, are you still trying to convince us that the bills aren't that bad? All I said was the NFL is crazy. You may the same argument that the Browns had no chance. Now, Greg sellin the bills, the bills on and the I think the bills are even worse than the day almost covered in the end. It was thirty one to twenty. Josh Allen does seem like he's better than. Got blown out of the water. The most. The most memorable thing about this game, though. We'll be that one of the players retired at halftime. Monty Davis had a nice career in the NFL over. I believe about eight or nine seasons had bounced around in recent years. It was with buffalo and at halftime. He decided you wanna play anymore. So he said his heart wasn't in it and he quit football, not the game, not just the game or the team, the entire thing. He released a statement after the game explaining why he made that decision. The statement itself was kind of surreal in how well packaged it was social media, very strange situation. As you might imagine, the bills were going through stuff right now. This is the last thing they want to have to be asked about after another humbling loss. Here's Lorenzo Alexander had to say on the vaunted Davis news seen anything like that. You're gonna never seen it ever pop mourner high-school college pros never heard of it. Never. Seen it, and if completely disrespecting went to his teammate and he said, did you better than anybody to say that nobody you left when you know as much as I know, I know I found out going in the second half of the game coming out sitting say, he's not coming out and he retired. Message. So. Say what for sending Sean. All right, good. I think you brought a pardon oxen in Margus hunt before vaunted Davidson. One of the more memorable hard knocks moments in the last five or so years when he got called, I think Jeff Ireland, it was called him into his office in alerted him. He was being traded to the colts. And the first thing that on Davis said is, can I call my grandma which went viral? That was a pretty big deal. So we're talking about a different type of cat here. And so although this is kind of unheard of, if I had to pick a guy, von Dame would be on my shortlist of players that would do something like this. What an ignominious moment for the Buffalo Bills of two thousand eighteen and football has very strong strong points in his got some weak points. But one of its strengths is Foster's mental toughness, and this is the opposite of mental toughness. How was what is Sean McDermott? Saying? The halftime speed on my goes. Got funding Davis is you do you feel for von Davis, who's..
