He beat him the second time. But max was such a popular such a favorite champion. This poor guy just doesn't seem to get the respect. He deserves it. You feel like he's gotta go out. In my opinion he's got to go out and really put it on. Brian ortega he cannot let this be a forty eight forty seven. He cannot let this be a split decision. I think alexander bulkin ski to define himself as federal way champion and kind of get the respect. He deserves. He's got to go out there and really take this fight to brian teigen. Because he didn't wanna get taken down right he had to make sure he just picked them apart enough. I think he can let go more. But why risk take down. So i think we may see vulcanized. Who's a little passive who just relies on his striking and punches and keeping a close he finds. That's almost as style. But i think it might be the right approach for this fight and and against brian ortega guy who can just snag your neck abba guy who can just turn it around with the grappling. You know i. I don't know if it's this is the one where you have to really make that statement to make everyone happy before you really lock into. W i think brian ortega's showed so much improvement in a striking but then again not that he needs my advice but i feel like i think brian's biggest chance to win this fight as mixing things up a little bit make vulcan ski. But max holloway tuned his ass up dude max with even coaching him in the middle of a fight saying let one point like no no. Don't do that do this. No just fucking should not really talking shit but like actually coaching him like dude. Don't be doing that so like a big brother talking to a little brother you know and yeah you can. You can improve your striking quickly over time if you add if you try at it you know what i mean but versus like you're grappling. You know what. "Coby covington all. He was on fire. Kobe covington was wayne in on the ultimate fighter. K which is going to be doing in a number of hours here with this new season. It's ortega versus volkogonov. Ski and coby was wayne in now ortega fire back. I want to say volkogonov ski to two and i believe coby was coming from a standpoint of. I think colby was going to do that. I think at one point colby and mazda coach each other and then go on and have this mega fight presumably for the b. m. f. but either way to settle their beef that would have been huge. I mean i can only imagine watching those guys. That would have been really great when kobe waiting on this. Though it did make me think totally different dollah different direction. Nothing of what if you read. Colby's comments no nothing of the direction he was going. It did make me think. Do we need to do the ultimate fighter with keep having these guys coach and then go on and fight at the end of it. Do we need to do that. I don't know it used to be a huge vehicle. That used to be the biggest fight you could put on in the whole year. Whatever the coach versus the coach right rashad versus rampage through the ultimate fighter. I get through that. Come on the back side of it. You were just guaranteed this fight. I don't know if that is still the case. I mean there's so many big pfizer so many opportunities the ultimate fighter. I could just start dropping these names but now every single monday something to look forward to and i was even in the practice room with these guys and they were all sworn secrecy to never say and none of them did so. Even though. I'm in the room with chris and who i'm going to go home and watch on tv. That i had no idea what the results were. I used to get together with joel every monday. We would talk about it all week. We talk about it all day. We go sit down free. Tv no pay per view. We had an hour drama to look forward to training session. Stuff that we love and then an actual fight every monday. You may not be able to relate to that because we're so spoiled in terms of content and content offerings and how many matches there are that we look forward to. Of course there's a fight a week. There's a fight every single saturday. Sometimes there's too i get it. Didn't it wasn't that way in two thousand and five two thousand and five by example and debuted in the ufc in two thousand five so that year. I can't remember a little bit different but it was also alternate fighter but i remember the announcement came. There was going to be eleven events that year. This was like shocking news. Two fighters who now have opportunity fight fans that want to watch. It was like schalke on my eleven events. He used to be six per year. And it used to be five in pri- private go five times. Ufc would go six times so almost once a month. But that's just what it was and that was up from the four that it used to be. He's after wait three months in between shows so now you have every week. But i won't be give a history lesson because it used to be so damn exciting to watch the ultimate fighter. It was so special. So then you had those eleven weeks in those two coaches and they thought it was a tremendous vehicle. It was the greatest vehicle. I would argue for many years in the entire sport. Those work coveted positions. If you got that phone call not only to be on. The ultimate fighter put to coach the ultimate fighter. That was very competitive and they were very coveted. And i'm only asking the question. I'm not on an opinion. i'm asking the question of do we still need to have ortega versus volkan oscar. We do do. We still need to watch them. See eleven weeks and then have them fight or would we be better off to just bring in coaches. you could even do actual coaches. You have hobby your mendez or great jackson. By example you could have some old veterans. Come in you could have chocolate del. Come in and do it. Opposite forrest griffin but guys that are now in in that part of their career. Would that work better. I don't know the answer. I'm creating conversation but there is some evidence to look back on. I was part of the. Afl you guys recall.
