"I don't know how good voit will be, the schedule in general is extremely manageable to start and finish the season. There is a four game stretch in October at UNC at Pitt host Miami at NC state. That's the tough terrain. But there's questions about three of those teams, I think. UNC and Pitt replacing starting quarterbacks will Miami be as good as ESPN and other media outlets want them to be. NC state, the toughest of the bunch clearly. But the month of November is Georgia Tech duke liberty and hosting Virginia. There's a reason books open vo tech at 5 and a half wins and we're about a game off our number and now FanDuel is using 6 and a half. So while it might not be what vo tech fans want it to be of the glory days, there is at least some positive sentiment relative to where the market opened on vo tech. Yeah, I mean, getting to a bowl in Brent price first season should be considered a win. If you're able to do that and Tony Elliott struggles with one of your bitter rivals in Charlottesville, suddenly Virginia tech's able to begin recruiting the state again and start on the path and road a recovery to what was once a proud football program that had that blue collar identity from a hard hitting physical defense. Virginia tech has their work cut out for them. So there aren't exactly high expectations there, but they are for the defending ACC champions in the Pittsburgh Panthers who are listed at 14 to one to win the ACC at FanDuel sports. Book three to one to come out of the coastal. And their win total sits at 7 and a half over minus one 70. Let's hope all of our listeners happen to listen to the off season podcast where we told you which way this win total was going and in his move and it has moved fast. Four Pittsburgh, they'll have to replace Kenny Pickett, of course he was drafted in the first round by the hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. Jordan Anderson Addison out of the steel city off to greener pastures in Los Angeles, a major hole for this team to fill offensively. 74th and recruiting ranking, one of the worst ever, albeit an extremely small class there. In comes USC transfer Keaton slovis to try and compete for the starting job with Nick patty. You have to believe slovis has the inside track gone as Davis bevel out to Oklahoma, Payne Frank sinnett takes over for Mark Whipple. You have to think that Pitt's going to run the football or at least try to be much more effective in that regard. When you look at the Panthers, I know we covered them about 6, 8 weeks ago, so I don't want to spend a ton of time here either. This offense has to take a step back. We can't assume that slovis will regain that USC freshman form and do what Kenny Pickett did for the Pittsburgh Panthers offense to season ago. Yes, we can be quick here. Pittsburgh is not the kind of program that can lose the 20th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the most important position on the field, along with around one receiver, type like Addison, and they're not be drop off. There's also the transition and offensive philosophy. That the guys are going to have to learn, right? Mark Whipple led this chuck and duck offense and left for Nebraska in comes Frank Cigna junior who runs a completely different pro style offense. He's a Dave once dead disciple. You should expect far more running this season because that's his vibe, but it's also the best thing for this offense when you look at 5 offensive line returners and two very good backs. It does make sense, right? Just kind of with the configuration that that's the style of offense. So you really want to adjust. Maybe some kind of I think initially what we're going to see is maybe their totals open a touch higher than they should. We'll see. But something to kind of think about there. Quickly on defense, a ton of production returns along the D line in secondary. This does feel like a unit that can hold serve and be a fringe top 25 type defense. Now, we already gave out pit under 9 is the best bet on our last podcast in May. And I think it just comes back to patent or doozy for me. He's eclipsed 8 wins just once in his 8 seasons at Pitt. You go from hunter to the hunted after an ACC championship. There's not really a home field advantage in their NFL shared stadium. We think the ACC ticks up as a whole with all the returning quarterbacks, stock arrow up on a few teams on pit schedule, Tennessee, vodka, cues, Miami, Louisville, all point up back to back road trips to villain UNC who will both have two weeks to prepare for pit plus a trip to Virginia. Clearly the market agrees to this point with our assessment and hopefully everyone got down when we said two because as you alluded to, Todd FanDuel is now dealing 7 and a half. I think there probably are some guys that are going to try to middle that under 9 and a half 9 back over 7 and a half. Again, we feel really good about what we gave out on this podcast like we usually do at the current number. I don't really want people gramming and jamming under 7 and a half here. And I think the big question, Todd, is something we discussed. Were you nice and weight weighted to bet the total we gave out and you're thinking about ramming and jamming at 7 and a half? Or did you nibble? Son of a bitch. No, I was nice and I waited and I got a shit number compared to a lot of our listeners because I wanted people to have a chance to get down. So I had to be, I had to be sneaky. I had a construct my bet. I had to use a couple of my deep stable of individuals that could help me and plunk down a few bucks here and there. So do I have a full position under 9 at the price that we gave out? No. But I have enough where I feel comfortable going under 9 at various prices of minus a buck ten, minus a dollar 20. I think up to minus a dollar 35. So at least I was able to get down. But because I am a team player and giving our listeners access to some of the numbers we bet into. I wanted to wait be patient and give them at least a 48 hour window to get down to the best numbers in the market..

"Rating. Brad Glenn will be the quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator comes over from Georgia state. That was an offense that averaged over 33 points a game in 2020. Some know Brad Glenn from his time at Appalachian state where he helped a quarterback name Armani Edwards become the only player in college football history to pass for over 10,000 yards and rush for 4000 more. Joe Rudolph knew O line coach and run game coordinator comes over from Wisconsin. Based on what I saw in the spring game, have read and heard, I would expect vot tech's offense to be spread, shotgun, RPO based, but they will want to run to be balanced. There was this quote from Brent pry this off season when asked about his offense and he said, we need to be able to run the ball against loaded boxes. When you have a D.C. as your head coach, you add guys to your offensive staff from Wisconsin and we're unsure of the weapons outside. We probably have to believe what price I wanted to run the ball. You mentioned grant wells transfers in from Marshall. He is the leader in the Clubhouse for the quarterback's job. It didn't really look overly close in the spring game either, but then again, I'm not at every practice. He graded out top 50 among quarterbacks with at least 300 dropbacks. He's far more efficient throwing with a play fake element about 7% more accurate so the RPO system should suit him well. Ball security is key there. He has a tendency to turn it over. Wells did hit two explosive touchdowns in the spring game. But again, he's kind of got this propensity to throw the ball into traffic and turn it over a little bit. I think there's question marks that I alluded to at receiver past Jaden blew the temple transfer Caleb Smith showed out in the spring game, Lofton's had a nice summer. The second big question mark with the hokeys offense is line play, three of the top four alignment are gone. Joe Rudolph says he feels okay about the first 5, but the unit has zero depth. Worth mentioning as the season goes on and patrician strikes to kind of adjust your power numbers there because there's not a lot of depth at O line. Vo tech only has two scholarship tackles on the roster. And they weren't great in past production last season. They finished a 123rd in passing down sack rate. So vo tech needs to add, I think, another scholarship body from the transfer portal at tackle would expect at least two offensive linemen bodies from the portal are added from now until game one. It's going to be a work in progress offensively. You'll look at the power 5 schedule of defense's vox offensive, we're projecting ten of those defenses to have an average efficiency rank of 71st. It's not too daunting. Probably worth mentioning the other way to score points Todd before we kick it to the defense and that special teams. Vo tech does not have a kicker on the roster that's attempted a live in game field goal. So something to monitor there as well. Kicking in a college game is overrated. Just go for two and try and put your opponents behind the 8 ball right from the start. You mentioned the defense here for Virginia tech. I mean, Chris marve the defensive coordinator. This group no doubt has start making plays. They were tenth in the ACC in both sacks and tackles for lost yardage. A season ago and you don't have the services of defensive end to Mari barno, there's arguably the most disruptive player on the roster. Just 16 sacks last season against ACC opponents, only once pain in the last four years as Virginia tech cracked the top 40 in yards per play allowed. 36 in 2019, frightening drop offs when you consider where this program was as a mainstay under bud foster's leadership. And the other year is not mentioned, 115th in 2018, 95th and 2020 and 92nd in 2021. We know this is where Brent prize is going to try and put his fingerprints all over the stop unit. I'm just not sure it's going to happen in year zero. We shall see. That's his specialty. His units at Penn State were fantastic. He's also worked under bud foster as a grad assistant for three seasons. So those are his ties to the hokeys program. I think when you look at pry, what we're hearing is not only is he going to handle the coaching duties, but he plans on being the defensive play caller as well. Let's see how that shakes out. It's a lot of responsibility. A lot of wearing of many hats. I think the one thing we know that was like pry is well respected in terms of his defensive capabilities. And you look at his 6 seasons as defensive coordinator at Penn State probably never had a defense finish outside the top 25 and efficiency had two defenses finished top ten. The average rank of prize PSU defense is over his 6 year stretch as D.C. 13th and efficiency. To your point, I don't know if it's going to look like that in year one, but I do think it's certainly makes some progress. If there's buy in energy and effort goes a long way in defense. I think I was listening to a presser. I think a couple of weeks ago it was, and people were asking what people should expect from his defense and basically he responded, throw on the Penn State tape. That's what we want to be defensively. The fortunate thing here is vo tech does return 7 starters in nearly 80% of its defense of production. The principles should be somewhat the same, I would expect to see an increase in zone coverage. He also blitzed on roughly 38% of snaps over 6 seasons at Penn State, nothing too crazy, but expect those kind of things. Vo tech struggled. On early downs defensively last season, their undersized up front, the body composition kind of matched the metrics tech was outside the top 100 in defensive line yards opportunity rate. They gave up a bunch of explosive runs, which led to a ranking outside the top 90 in EPA for Russia out. When I look at tech schedule and their ten FBS games were projected the hokies defense to face an average ranked offense of 49th inefficiency..

"And so rather than just say, hey, they're really doing a good job at texting him. He's compelled, and maybe this isn't narcissism, but he's compelled to explain to you I'm not slipping and they're not really recruiting better than us. They just bought everybody. And we didn't buy anybody. And we still finished second right behind them. Like he was compelled to make it clear to the world because I do think this was intentional. We're not slipping at Alabama. We're not getting out recruited by fellow SEC schools. I'm not getting out recruited by a former assistant of mine. They're spending $30 million on the recruiting class. That's what happened. And so could you see caliper? Like if suddenly. Florida beat them for two 5 star prospects. Could you see Cal saying, listen, you know, there are some schools out there that are throwing around millions of dollars in name image and likeness deals to get recruiting done. And I've never had to do it that way. And we still aren't doing it that way. But maybe we'll have to adjust and adapt. I could see him saying something like that. In fact, he just stopped a few yards short of that a few weeks ago when he was explaining we're getting everybody we want to get. We haven't lost anybody because of name would you like this? And we're doing naming like this better than anybody else. Like that was, that was, you know, if Nick Saban's comments says site were Major League Baseball, like what cow and Cal stepped in a few weeks ago was like double light baseball. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, that's fair. I'm going to promote pick 6. Cover three podcasts. If you want, if you're a college sports fan, go find them after you listen to this one, obviously. They're going to have this whole thing covered because apparently Jimbo Fisher is literally saying some people think they are God. It's refusing to take Nick Saban's calls. He said, Nick Saban tried to call him he didn't pick up the phone call says, quote, we're done. This is going to dominate the news cycle. On a day where Tiger Woods is playing in a major golf championship, it's kind of wild. But I didn't want to at least not acknowledge the fact that in college sports, there is a feud unfolding unlike a few other issues we've ever seen. They just used to work for saving. It's kind of wild, so anyway, if you want to get more of that, the cover three guys will absolutely have you covered pun intended. But why not dive into this mailbox? We got plenty of good stuff to get here, GP. All right, we took questions from Twitter, and the way we'll do this is alternate back and forth back and forth. And then eventually we'll get to the end and I'll shout out some people and we'll call it a day. So let's start with this question. It comes from sharpie Charlie. Sharpie Charlie. Assuming duke in North Carolina is going to be top four in the ACC. Which goals are going to make up the other two spots. I'll let you take a stab at it first. Good question. Duke and Carolina got to be considered top four. No doubt, I'll have more on duke and a little bit here. I was talking with a few folks recently about the state of the ACC going into next season. Reminder, here are the teams that made the tournament this past season. Miami obviously, Virginia tech's weekday, and Notre-Dame squeaked in. So you had 5 teams get in, duke was the only one that was high level Carolina made the title game, but it was an 8 seat and then Miami Notre-Dame and vo tech were all ten and 11 seats there. Wake forest just barely missed. We'll see if it's like, if Jake laravia returns, which feels, I feel not good. It's not good. Okay, fair enough. He apparently shot it like crazy at the combine and then pulled out of the scrimmages..

"Duke has one of the most efficient offenses, despite not really running anything complex. It's just about talent and athletes and Texas tech's defense is number one in the country. And they're also both trending and adjusted efficiency as being number one and offense and number one in defense. It's really a fun matchup from that perspective. When you look at duke, it's about the talent in the athletes, which you mentioned, 5 potential picks in the top 40. And without running anything of substance on offense, their average in a 119 points per hundred possessions. But something's got to give because allowing 83 points per hundred possessions. Ultimately for me, the way officials call this end of the court is the biggest factor. The way Texas tech wants to defend you, they can be really handsy. And I think that's the real X Factor when duke your opponent and they're already getting most 50 50 calls on normal situations, but now every game is potentially coach case last. That does become somewhat worrisome in a pick them like game. So I think that's probably the first thing is how this game is officiated. The second is can do kit jumpers. Texas tech is like super old school in that day. They pack the paint. They shut the middle of the court down they cut off driving lanes. And they're very good, one on one defenders. And tech basically forces you to shoot from outside. And there was a good nugget that I heard and I don't have the kid's name, but he tweeted out that Texas tech this season's played 24 unique opponents. 17 of those 24 had their lowest scoring output in the paint. And if you look it makes sense, Texas tech is number one in the country in near proximity attempts allowed. Their number four in defending those near proximity shots. Now, if you look at duke, they have the size to shoot over the top. You have been chero at 6 ten. He can knock down some jumpers. You have more in Griffin, both 41% plus from the outside. Jeremy roach has been a nice contributor lately helping duke space the floor a little bit. I just hope the refs swallow the whistle. Because if they do, we know what tech is capable of defensively. And you have this added prep time. And I think they can make life difficult for duke offensively if they go hero ball mode, which we have seen pretty much throughout the course of this season, but kind of going back to this price. And that's kind of where the problem lies from me Todd. I expected the game to open duke minus two. But unfortunately, in college basketball, there's very few real oddsmakers and most just got Ken ball. So tech opens minus one. And to me, that is also bookmakers taking a stands as well. And I would envision this being one way traffic come game day from recreational betters on duke. So we'll be really interesting to see where this fluctuates, right? Again, it'll be telling potentially if duke ends up closing a favorite, although not a ton of money required to go through the zero, but a little bit more basketball. If tech moves out to two, very, very telling. What is interesting to me, though, is there was this common opponent in Notre-Dame. And I know duke played Notre-Dame about 6 weeks ago. Tech played them a couple of days ago. But duke was a 6 point favorite at Notre-Dame and we have Notre-Dame's home court worth about three and a half points. So you're looking at 9 and a half on a neutral. We just saw tech closed 6, 6 and a half on a neutral to Notre-Dame last round. Yet again, oddsmakers opened this tech minus one against duke. There is a stance being taken here. There's no doubt about that. There is oddsmakers really trusting some of the analytic minds and basketball. And that's how you arrive at a number that really is giving you no favors if you want to back tech. But I also get it because there is another side of this coin and that duke just has not looked good recently. You lose the finale at Cameron. You trail to an undermanned Syracuse team 78, 77 with three minutes to go. You sneak by Miami, although that looks like a better win now than it did at the time. You get pummeled by vo tech who got bounced in round one. You fail the cover against Fullerton, no matter how flukey the last second dunk was. You trail to a really bad version of Michigan state by 5 with four and a half minutes to go laying 7. And now we're here. Listen, if tech forces duke to be a jump shooting team, where they can't rely on their athleticism as much and you get a fair whistle and tech does enough offensively against a duke team. That's a 166th in adjusted defensive efficiency the last ten games. And text motion offense gives dukes some trouble. Then tech probably wins this game and they're advancing. But there are some hurdles that you certainly have to overcome. Are you confident that tech can make enough shots? I know obviously I'm asking the simple overriding question here because if we believed in text offense, then this game becomes a runaway. Bryson Williams, Kevin o'bannon, so much going to be expected them. Do we think do can solidify its defense or, hey, look, they've given us a full body of work. There's no reason to believe they can fix all that ails on the defensive end going into a game of this magnitude. I think it's tough. Obviously, you have the players that if they buy in, they can defend. If you look at their one on one defense, it's not bad. They have an ability to guard without fouling, which is something Texas tech does rely on getting to the free throw line. It just becomes what transpires here in the next four days preparing for this game. There's no reason to team that talent and talented can't defend. None whatsoever. And you see in moments where it's late in the Michigan state game, they're able to get some stops. They just don't have that intensity or will or want for the entire stretch of the game. And maybe now that these games are a little bit more impactful, we'll see that defensive effort. I had a conversation with Brad on Monday and he pointed out something that was very interesting. This is typically not a spot where duke has had success under coach K Owen 5 in the tournament playing on the West Coast. This game obviously is going to be played in San Francisco. Texas tech correct me if I'm wrong was just playing out in the West Coast. Last round. So there is some familiarity in San Diego in that last tick against Montana state in their win over Notre-Dame..

"Out of here. good tip. if you're trying to smuggle across the border just say two sweaters. So when i was in high school i always go to this thrift store for a lot of my clothes and you could get lacoste polos and the little boy section and they were so cool when i was twelve lacoste. That's when the lacoste started. It's sort of thing and it was a super popular and everyone had everyone in my school dress like a preppy with lacoste t-shirts or not t shirts but polos with the collar turned up and all that kind of stuff and so i went to new york for my first big family trip. There was a guy selling a white lacoste sweater on a street corner. And i think it was five dollars and i had like maybe ten dollars that my parents had given me to spend new york and i spent five dollars on this white. They give you a ten. Do your luck. i mean. They went to hatred mood. And everything else that we were doing. Rotate part so. I spent five of it on this white lacoste sweater. I think it was a fake to you think that they were selling on. The street was a fake lacoste for five dollars was not a real room in their store. And they're like go out on the street and sell was in shop class would working class and i wore it and the teachers. Are you sure you wanna wear that white sweater in woodworking glass and some guy had brush paintbrush full of stain ano- and got it on the sweater. Yeah was the first off. The first number is still say he just he bumped into me and so and we tried to bleach. It we tried. This was five dollars. Five of my dollars. I i took a woodworking in high school and it was so weird that i did that i should have taken. It was the biggest waste of time. Like we add to take woodworking metal shop. And drafting. And i had to. We had to make pancakes and shit. I wish that i'd been offered in my school. I don't think we had a home program. There was a was called vo-tech vocational technical training where it was like that was working in cars and stuff like that. "Something that you've always dreamed of the you never thought was possible and you went back to school. I know. There's a lot of people knocking education today. getting a college degree to me is one of the most critical steps to being a a whole person as an adult. It's not about necessarily the job training. Get a training for job Good Vo Tech School or go into getting the bad google badges, these different areas of expertise in niches great. But going to a Liberal Arts College, which I teach a Christian Laura's college. is about a bigger than that growing the whole person? Can you live in community? Can you live by rules? Can you deal with depression and anxiety and stress and pressure? Can you think deeply? Can you think in ways that others challenge you to think because that's their? They think different than you. how can you grow in deep? Deepen who you are as a person. Do, you know scripture apologetic. Can you defend your faith? These are huge, and they transform marriages transform families, and yesterday opened doors as well still and so I I'm a strong proponent of getting a college degree at minimum. But not necessarily just for the degree as in to get you into a job. It's way bigger than that. What I love to do! Is I'd love to actually talk with you? In help you brainstorm. How can you go from where you're at today? Two very different US as a family. For single you. I did a lot of this transforming and changing single that as I pivoted in mate took risks. You know what I mean. He's he feel like he can do it to the least quiet one of the new one because my son was able one yes to be repaired. Flip and that whole thing. It'll be over but it's really really sad. So yeah that side of that. Bullying whole Willie thing is very very detrimental touchable. Now there's a true that you noticed kind of brings us into Into our last and final traffic here Views on public school. And we were kind of talking about it already bouncing in and out of it You know and I've I've kind of learned that all public schools are created equal. No not in Some some in that tend to be in higher tax bracketed areas in parts of town for some reason tend to have a little bit better resources than the ones that are in lower tax bracket ten And I said they're not all treated equal and that's why we talk about what we talk about But now for the people that do have to deal with home with the people that do at the deal. A public school and What are your thoughts? I mean because I went through and I did a podcast and I spoke on it But I wanted to know what are your. What are your thoughts on it? And what are your views on? What can parents do you know? I mean they're they're they're they're in it day. No is not what he's supposed to be there. No West inadequate. What are some things that they can actually do? Well I'll be honest with you guys. I don't have a clue I mean. There's so many different opportunities in public schools really need to be increased. And we know that and I don't know how you deal with watching a student underachieved something because there's not enough resources in the school. You know what I'm saying. I don't know what that would look like. And what that would feel like because you look at society and where it's headed and you look at what children learning. They're not handed in the same direction. Merck they're not they're not even closely headed in the same direction. I mean the directions are so vastly different You know you take for instance A high school that offers vocational training. And you compare it to the high school that doesn't the children that are getting the vo-tech education and having the opportunity to have college credits before they graduate from high school. Giving them almost like a boost into the college environment giving them a boost in educational opportunity giving them a boost in society and economic empowerment versus those. Who Don't there's a discrepancy? There should definitely be addressed. However if you're not looking at more money into a school then what are you looking to? I mean what do you do? Do you say yeah? I mean I get it. You know And I guess that's one of the reasons why I was saying that. I think parents definitely have to take a more active role even if you've got to be even if you know if if it's one of those at his what it is for whatever the circumstances are in a as a parent you have to steal. Take the time to number one talk to your children about what's going on and make sure that whatever they say and you communicating it was right you know what I mean and I mean if you're talking to them and they tell you what's going on and what's happening in school if it's twisted you can at least go back and say you know what hold on now. Yeah I know they told you that but no over here. We do this this this this and this. I wonder what would be something to us again? We're talking about opportunity and we all know that it takes money right right right and looking at opportunities from the financial perspective like what can be done to increase you know funding for schools. That don't have these opportunities amend. Listen I went to elementary school right here in this city and they have a full Macintosh equipped computer lab learning labs. What they call it. Oh this is the elementary school. No Okay I'm not sure. High schools have this some places where you know. We're talking from kindergarten up to third and fourth grade. I believe third grade kindergarten to third grade already learning how to use apple platforms. Put various thing right right right and you know to say those guys and those other ones over here who don't have that opportunity. There already. Farther advanced in learning. And I'm just not sure how to bring the balance if you're not willing to get involved in the community as a parent collectively parents saying listen. Man Something's gotTa be done but I don't have the knowledge of how to make that happen. You see what I'm saying even though I can feel apparent that's watching another student. You know advanced further in education. Then they're child where I can't even I can imagine what they're thinking but what would be you know my point point. If you've come from my point of view I would be looking for the solution. How do you fix this? What do you do and again? I don't know I'm hoping to find out because there are people who are in that situation currently who are looking for some reason. Thank you child out of this school. Can you change school district's about having an address because you know that's kind of stipulations? Where students can go to school based upon where they live here. She lives How do you get these opportunities in? These lower tax bracket at schools does a good definitely A. That's a good question I mean and that's a good question especially when you're talking about the opportunities and what you can do in your home. That's why I will just saying you know as tough as it is to say. You gotTa make some hard to staff when the really gotta make some hard to say no. They really got to take a hard look at itself. Well I say you're not GonNa get if you stay in that system okay opportunities. You'RE NOT GONNA be able to partake if you depending on the system to do if you in a low income area. You're not that's the reason why it's not there We weren't when just my experience. The books outdated we work. We moved from Virginia to North Carolina and we encounter school. That was zoned for my address. Nineteen sixty nine copyright. I'm looking for a reference. What year was this? Two thousand six hundred sixty nine. Copyright history book was outdated as understood town. You outdated begin to wonder. How are these children going to get a quality education? This outdated information and you have to understand witten with no funding EUBOEA whatever's left over into warehouse or the storage. You give it to them and as much as I hate to say it. It's like that so in order for your children get the opportunities that you feel own. Udine necessary for them you need. You're going to have to provide yourself if you if you're in a part of a city where things are not you're not getting you're not afforded those things and this is a system. We live in a system that provides this type of quality education. And now to me. I don't even think education okay and if you look at the history of ethnic public education in the south there were no schools for African American kids. It was only for certain Kids in of a status on your other counterpart could they were of a certain Saturday. Get certain things and then we can go into all that but there were no education where they deem is education full minority at all. So you have to understand. They had to get us in there. Because once you make it law of course out the emancipation and all that kind of the we had to be included in that we had they applied as well. Okay so if you remember. Certain PLACES. Cities have little buildings where they will take kids out in one place. It might be five or six in an IRA. Mother.

Y. and Z. and he was getting into new things auto sales things of that nature I said good for you we met for lunch and I wish him the best hadn't heard from him in awhile and he called me about a month ago when he tells me Hey I got arrested the federal the FBI got me on some drug charges it's really crazy and again I just said you know I'm glad you called me and I'm kind of used to that I served as a police chaplain for the New York police department and so I've been to like Essex County jail and I've prayed with people that were arrested and it's I'm not a stranger to to being with people that are incarcerated and trying to give them some good advice so they can get their life back on track so it didn't come as a surprise to me that he gave me a call because a lot of times and people are trying to change their lives around that's what they do so I don't wanna be labor that point but I want to set the stage because I good friend of mine called me up again it was good for my growing up haven't seen much lately but he called me a few nights ago right after we were done working I was stepping out of the control room I get to my desk and I hear the phone ring and he's like yo any calls me by my childhood nickname just fader because I used to get fades and he's a complete and I'm like Hey what's up man he's a kill my to jail and I was like oh good for you brother you know congrats god bless he tells me yo check this out when I was in all I could think about was that time we went to lunch now it's like what about and it's interesting because this lunch that we had I actually described I think in the second or third episode of this is America which is found right here at WABC radio dot com under podcast and weeks what we talked about was how he had been indoctrinated by MSNBC and he was like yo all I do is watch MSNBC your guy trump your guy trump is going down bro because your guy trump is a crook sign as a current no problem all good so you know it was an interesting exchange that we had he does a yo yo yo you were right you'll you'll guy trump you he's at G. sign he's a G. for real I was like oh really why tell me more about that he says you in jail he took at that do general salami in Iran Joe he's every the every gang member everybody was like yo trump is for real and he paid he pass this thing he made a law what people think killing people they get out of jail as echo you mean the first impact he was like you have a gas our criminal justice jail reform and he's like you know they got mad love for trump in the jail I was like wow that's interesting because in other news governor Phil Murphy signed a law I signed a bill into law in New Jersey allowing inmates to vote as best I understood it so I'm thinking if this is true and this kid was in jail you know waiting for federal time or whatever it was if this may blow up into Murphy's face right he may be saying Hey I am the guy I am allowing criminals to vote and they may turn around say yo yo trump the G. we vote for trump so I find that really interesting I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one eight hundred eight four eight nine two two two one eight hundred eight four eight W.
