"You're listening to someone story you're trying to listen to their story lines and their symptoms construction your client why. There is trying to listen to the level of their voice. You're trying to see if they do any hand. Most of the whigs awebber is a hand. Motions will also give them away before maybe there is give away or their voice would give them away. It is if you're living at someone is being deceptive five. Meagher's that when we see these horrible and we say wow. Something's wrong with this person story. When you're comfortable and you're talking with me you can look in visalia on you. Been looking me your story. Is you feel good about your story. And when you're in person with someone typically what you should do is meek. There is sixty to seventy percent of the time. You're blocking. I on what you have to make me think that you're right near with them. When you form a good level by contact with nato like their one with you and it's okay if your is the move a little bit when you're talking this thing really why is move. If i bought that is contained in the upper right side of my head. I will tell you that. Thought if i needed thought biscuit gained in the low in the upper left hand. Forget to the united telling jeans. White people's eyes moves so why didn't easy like we never wanna sterry someone. You're crazy so you never wanted to do this. You want to be a relaxed. I and we teach people in business that you're giving someone i contacted me feel like living them too much. The i the business. As really. I sit reporting. I is i is reported. And you when you're getting to know someone just a little bit better most of us do really repelled table is i i now i now i look at was mouthfuls. I'm celebrate. I missed a boarding. They're telling me. Go if i'm talking with you bridget. Y'all look at your is probably look at your mouth. Look at your eyes on your mouth. I don't look into center forehead but for those people who are raised in cultures where they have difficulty looking at someone in the eye are. They're not supposed to. "A touchdown, Bucky, It's 23 13. They scored. That's right. Mighty CJ Better does it again, Uh so we'll have more on this. Look. Trevor Lawrence did flash a little bit earlier in the game tonight, but clearly the Jaguars Have a ton of problems and we're going to get to that coming up in a few minutes, But you know, Bucky something I know you were really hot on. And when I saw this today I shake my head and I go. How many times are we going to see this? Cam Newton is going to be away from Patriots facilities until at least Thursday due to what he calls a misunderstanding about Covid 19 tests that are conducted away from NFL facilities. Now. Newton's absence comes after he went to a Patriots approved medical appointment that required him to leave the New England region. So because of this now he's got to stay away from the team for a few days. Mac Jones, look at all the reps with the ones can we will have to come back. The reason this is going on. This is Cam Newton is not vaccinated. So what? You have to go through all these different parameters when you're not vaccinated, which is kind of the way of the world because we want to get rid of covid. And still, you have players who don't want to take the shot because, you know, I heard on a zoom call with my uncle that he said that the government is trying to put in print chips into your body and they're going to track Don't get the covid shot. So now this is where Cam Newton is that he has Because of this. He has put his status as the Patriots starting quarterback in jeopardy. Maybe he starts Alaska. Maybe he doesn't. Maybe this opens the door for Mac Jones. But clear this is the second time this is Cam Newton, who had sidelined because of Covid in the middle of the year last year and and was really bad upon his return. And still no shot. No covid shot for Cam Newton. Still here he is now and you could potentially lose his grip on the starting job. But does this make any sense to you? Because it really It doesn't make any sense to me that this is the path. The Cam Newton's going down. No. It doesn't It really doesn't Jason, it doesn't make any sense at all. Like I'm just saying, just from an awareness to standpoint, right? If you just have a little bit awareness, and you just maybe pop on the Internet, Twitter Maybe you read the paper in Boston. Everyone in their mom is calling for your job to be handed to Mac Jones and you decide. You know what I'm gonna do? Would get Mac Jones a chance to run with the ones it a week three. The last impression that he can make before we started regular season. I am going to give Mac Jones a chance to drive the shiny new car and to let the Patriots game plan for Mac Jones to let him Have a couple of weeks a couple of days of practice and some joint practices. To show the Patriots what they may have in the number one their number one pick. I'm not saying much, but I know this. I'm not letting someone sit in my seat. It's to take my job. So to me, it doesn't make sense. And at this point because I am a big cam do navigate. But at this point Had to officially let it go. I had to evacuate a little little number one pitches. Jersey had to pack it away. Because I was like, You know what I can't do. I can't help those who won't help themselves. Uh, it really It really doesn't make any sense. Because you know, you hear the phrase that being used around the NFL Now, if your fringe get the syringe, right, Like yes, yes. This is different. This is dude. You may not there that everybody is looking for a reason for you to not be the starting quarterback. Nobody wants you to be the starting quarterback in New England, because you know Matt Jones is Tom Brady, right? He's not great. Is that great? And and we're still with all of this in front of you? You put yourself in a position to not Be able to stick around and keep your job right. Like you know, we had this little bit of conversation last week. But this is this goes in a different direction with, you know, with guys like whether it's you know whether it's cold Visalia, Kirk cousins or anybody else, But But here's Cam Newton, who is in a fight for his job. And I don't and why you would put that in jeopardy by saying, you know, I'm not going to do it. Well, why? Why wouldn't you? Why wouldn't you get vaccinated? Why wouldn't you do something to make sure. Hey, because if he doesn't win this job, he's never start in the NFL again. I mean it. It's done. I can't. I can't. I don't get it. I can't understand that Jason. I can't like. Maybe it's just a lack of of several where it has to be like, you know, somebody else and just pick me up. But I mean, this is one of those where you do everything. You're taking up a sore ankle with duct tape like you're not. You're not letting anybody come in and do anything. And yet here he is. Here he is doing doing doing the craziest stuff that I can ever imagined to let Mac Jones take his job because it's on that path. I mean, it's on that path, right, like the best case scenario for Cam Newton, and here's the Here's How he keeps his job right is that Let's just say the Patriots decided. I've told you, I think it's a fixed competition. It's going to wind up being Mac Jones. And now and now, boy, how right? Do I look? Now? This fix competition, Right? I know you love you, right? All right, Let's let's just say Cam Newton starts if the Patriots start out hot when they're first five or six games and can plays well, he keeps that job. As long as he plays well in the Patriots are winning. That's the only path he has is that the Patriots are five and one 5 to 6 to 7 to 738 and 39 and three If that's how they go in Cam Newton's putting points up on the board doesn't need to be, you know, as a superstar fantasy quarterback just needs to be able to keep the offense humming..

"I mean, it was it originated here, the whole concept of it and encouraging people. You. What are they going to do? If you have more than eight people at your house for Thanksgiving, Chris? First of all, I don't see any of our sheriff's at least up here in northern Kentucky. Enforcing these mandates. And I've talked to several of our sheriffs who have flat out said they are not enforced in Visalia dates. You know the health Department. What? I have 12 15 people. Maybe they go out and enforcing these things. You know, I mean, at worst, some health department doodle shop in your house. I mean, but don't have arrest powers. So Well, none of these. None of these things are laws, even though the people behind them say they will. They have the power of law, but they're not really laws. Legislatures have to enact laws and they have to be signed by the governor. So why? Why is any of this legal Chris? Well, we've made all those arguments last week and the Kentucky Supreme Court and we know what they did. We know what they got to the Constitution of Kentucky. We know, you know, um e mean, really is Just mind boggling what they did, but, um I think You know if you ask them, and they would say that the Legislature passed on emergency power law that gave the government the ability issue of Archie orders that are punished as a misdemeanor and you know, and if you violate his orders, the Legislature said. It was a misdemeanor, so it's the equivalent of a law and You know, I obviously disagreed with it. I took the case up to the exciting Supreme Court. We did not prevail. We know what they did, but the politics of it. Um and you know, and now we're here doing what we're doing, but But I think when it comes to gatherings in assemblies of people, and there is a right to assemble right in the first Amendment, right? Um, I think one more dealing with that, Um we're now back in the federal realm on Ben that Theo on the private gatherings in the household is highly likely. To be a You know, a federal lawsuit that we're going to bring in the next week or two. And, you know, I think, um we'll end up prevailing on it. We have not lost a federal case. Yes. Um, why do you? Why do you think that the business protections couldn't be upheld in a federal federal court? So there has to be in the numerator federal constitutional rights? Something in the bill of rights, So so you have to point to some amendment. The federal bill of rights or in some constitutional them and or some federal constitutional provision. That would that he would be violating. And unfortunately you know, in the state Constitution, for instance, has the right to life. Liberty property etcetera. An article one There's no equivalent right in the federal Constitution that you have the freedom to assemble the speak their freedom of speech, freedom of religion free exercise. You know, right to bear arms, but there's no there's no right. Believe or not operate a business in the federal Constitution, but is if it's your business and you own that property. Isn't that a property right? Can't you make that argument? I mean, what song again? What I have to point to a federal enumerated right somewhere in the Constitution. And, you know, I mean, could we argue that what he's been doing is taking? Um, I haven't done it yet. That doesn't that doesn't stop the shutdown that just makes the government pay for Maybe that's enough. Um Oh, yeah. I mean, I mean, they ought to be on the hook for every penny that's lost by these businesses that there are bitterly shutting down because Those businesses are the property of the owners. Are they not? Yeah. And here's the rub on the dumbness takings claims if all he is doing is impairing the business. Not actually causing the shutdown of it. He's probably going to get away with it under under the regulatory takings Lina cases if he's actually putting a business out of business And I think that owners got a federal claim for at least the recompense of the money. But that was, unfortunately, what that's not going to do is sort of stopped. These regulations right is just going to compensation for the loss. Well, I know I appreciate the work you've been doing. We've talked all through this. You know, from time to time, Chris and I appreciate every bit of man hour and a bit of sweat and toil you put into this and I just say God love you, brother. Keep fighting, please. We are. We're going to keep keep plugging away. And at least until the Legislature comes back in January, hopefully does something about this and the rule is 39, a in Kentucky? It's what the statute has been using. It's the chapter of the revised statutes. It's care of 39 8 that he's been using. Abusing, um, abusing. Not using abusing anything. He abused it again today, Chris Weeks. Thank you, sir. Scary. Yep. Thank God Love you. God bless that man..

"Ryan so even though he had just gotten shot twice he still trying to protect his family in that. That's just so incredibly sad But then when he got towards the front door that's when he collapsed so then the our turn to Beth again and pointed the gun at her and just her account of this of just feeling like this is it. This is where it ends for me. So she said she had like her knees up in her head down thinking she was going to be shot. Which why wouldn't she Like think that the way that he was pointing a gun on her But he then instead of shooting her he kicked her in the face in head a couple times and then ran So then of course you know. Everyone in the family is up by this time They call police and when the ambulance arrived her father was still alive at this time but then later that's when her mom you know came to her and just the way she says she says. My Mom told me Daddy died. And it just. It's so sad. You know this woman talking about this night and just. I don't know just imagine having to tell your kid that and you know the first in the series of an of death when the sky all the other houses he's tormented he's gone through their stuff and did gross things but like this one ended in her father dying and he tried to save her. Can you imagine the level of survivors go that she probably feels and yeah? You can't say just don't feel like that. But yeah the he was trying to protect his family and I I mean in all accounts he did though because what if he would have taken her out. What would he have done to her? We don't know because this was all new. So there is an interview that I was able to find Abc Seven did it and it was right after he had gotten arrested. And they talk to Beth now now she goes by Elizabeth hup and her pain is still very visible so they talked to her after he was caught. And so we're pretty confident. We have the soluble soccer. And she says it all came flooding back like it was yesterday and then towards the end. They talk about how her dad wasn't there for her wedding and the birth of her children and that was taken away from her and the damage is still very real victims. Even though we're saying this happened a long time ago it it ruined their families so even though you know one thousand nine hundred seventy five. Nineteen seventy four seventy three. That seems so long ago but these families are still feeling the pain from it. Yeah no they absolutely are and you know what the Beth smelling her father. And then if you think in you. They're all these interviews to on Youtube that you can watch people. Just whose homes he burglarized right and initially. Your thought is while people can can replace their shed but not. If it's from your mother who loved her Array. Let your ring you know. She's now gone and like family heirlooms and he would break furniture he would ruin things. I mean the amount of actual victims that he had whether it's murder or just sentimental victims. You know they number in the thousands that and then just the feeling of not feeling safe in your own home you know if someone enters your home and you did not invite them in that field not just going to go away. You're not going to feel safe. Ever know. And I was watching a couple interviews to about Both Vice Celia and then Sacramento when Er Star appears and starts the rape series and just the level of terror that the people in these communities felt because it finally made the newspapers and was a huge deal and so many people were victimized you know had something perpetrated against That you know it was a very very real fear at the time and comparing it to say like son of Sam in New York City right like everyone was terrified and the same thing here happened in Visalia in everyone was just absolutely terrified rightly so it. It's horrible no absolutely. Yes so as Amanda mentioned so Beth smelling in another interview talks about how for about the two weeks before the attack. The final attack the murder father. She felt as though the she was being followed or stocks and that was actually corroborated with the interview that she gave her police and is present in her police. Report and police astral. Why do you think you're being followed or stop? And she didn't know like she didn't she didn't know she said it was a feeling so what. I found really really interesting. Is that psychologists have actually spoken on this the feeling of being stalked and so apparently it's very actually real phenomenon and it's were brain. We May Not Register. The someone in particular is following us so we may not know that someone in a car is slowly driving five cars behind us or we may not register that. Someone's following behind us on the sidewalk our brain can subconsciously. Pick up on clues from our physical and social environment. She also knew that she had a prowler outside of her window at that point. Though what's probably also heightened her awareness of it but I found it really interesting that she knew. She said that she had a feeling that she would meet him a gun. And unfortunately that is the truth in terms of the VR. This is his first known human murderer right but how short are police that the VR kill clot smelling? We'll talk about this at the end as well About the post arrest and as it relates to Vr. On August thirty first nineteen seventy five so a month before this a gun during a burglary and the owner of that gun had filed a police report told investigators that they could find some of the old spent rounds that he had shot into a canal at a location nearby now. The police went to that canal and actually collected those rounds so ballistics tested against the ballistics from that burglary and then also gun used to kill Claude smelling. They were match so the Vice Ilya Ran. Soccer was in fact the killer so that is how they knew that it was vr. That killed clots knowing after the Claude smelling killing. This case was now on the national radar right nationwide so many local newspapers give the assailant. The name of the Vice Ilya ran soccer so that is when he was properly named and given the moniker of the vice lawyer. Ansbacher and police massively stepped up manpower in this investigation immediately before it was kind of. We have more active patrols but now they just completely pumped up all of their men. Power actually created another task force directly because of Claude sailings murder. Right however he remember he was a cop so any of the tips and tricks that they were planning he probably had access to exactly his quad. Sailings murder was on September eleventh eleven days later on September twenty second so starting September twenty second to December tenth. The are ten more times so he's at ten more times over the course of three months so it looks like his pattern dropped a little bit but he's still times right and I don't know if maybe he stepped back for second was like maybe I'm getting too much or like getting into this too much and then it was like. Oh maybe I liked that right right. It's it's crazy so he still hitting just a here they're neverwhere so ten wartime sense chloe's murder so then we get into another big instance in this case and attempted murder and not only as an attempt to murder but it's an attempted murder of police officer. There are things that lead up to the so on the evening of December tenth nineteen seventy-five detective. William McGowan was assigned to a stakeout at homeadvisor. I sell neighborhood a few days. Before neighbor of the home had called Visalia Police Department with a tip that there have been prowler activity recently and the prowler activity recently. It actually just. It was for a while before so going actually. Back to February February sixteenth. There was a ransacking at a next door neighbor at a residence then again in July. Another woman who lived on the street in interrupted a burglar. She came down from upstairs in her apartment and the man who was wearing a ski mask pushed her down and then ran outside a couple months after that. That young woman became aware of a peeping Tom. Outside of her bedroom. Bathroom Windows so. The police advised the family to call them. When shoeprints appeared outside of the home. How creepy is that right and weren't the families of all these people that were suspecting a peeping Tom. Raking outside their windows so that they could see fresh. That's actually what the police told people in the neighborhood in the in the city to do is rake under your windows to see if you have footprints like what the fuck. How horrible is that? Can you imagine that? There's literally this fucking maniac on the loose to the point where police are like. Well can't really catch him. So does rick under your windows to see if he appears right and just he can jump fences. And be out and yeah. We can't catch him people that chase him catch him. So it December ninth nineteen seventy five. We're getting closer. The shoe prints are found. The police were called and they added this particular home to their list of areas to stakeout. Because at this point the police have been like shoot prints started appearing. He's going to hit that house. So December nine th. She found the police. Add this to the stakeout list. So here we have the magical night of December tenth nineteen seventy five six o'clock PM on December Tenth Detective. Mcgowan positioned himself in the garage of the House. Next door to the victims. Bright the one who's getting the shoeprints and they're pretty sure that their houses I get burglarized right because he returns over and over again to get their their habits right exactly now. His partner was taking out the residents from across the street. So all eyes were on this particular house also on this night about six thirty. Vr burglar as a home about a half mile south of where the police officers so VR hits a House about half mile away about eight thirty PM. Two and a half hours later. Detective McGowan is sitting in a garage and he notices a shadowy figure appear. He's lying in wait. The figure Mu is moving kind of slow in crouched by the shrubbery and he makes it to the opening of the garage. Were McGowan was hiding. And he peaks on doesn't see anything and then keeps going to the site of the garage and makes his way down to the back gates. Were he can gain entrance to the backyard and then the the back door of the house right and he had done this before so he kind of knew. Lakeway so this is one. Detective McGowan rose up from his hiding spot in the garage and kind of silently begin tailing him so he follows the are to the back gate and sees him tampering with a lock for a few moments and then basically trying to surprise them. He turned on his light his flashlight and shines it on his face and says police officer. Hold it right there. And what's so interesting in? This has been the talk of so many reddit and facebook groups and pro boards the suspect you know obviously the Vr says you may God and and then he spins around. He's like oh no. Oh my God oh no. And he's actually speaking as a woman the figure he was wearing a stocking cap or ski. Mask detective McGowan couldn't really tell Reached up and actually removed it with his right hand and he put it in his back pocket to distract him and then he took off running so he uses momentum per to propel himself up over the gates and then he landed in the backyard belonging to the house where he had hidden in the garage. Depend McGowan screamed again. Hold it put your hands up and they basically went on kind a chase right and again detected McGowan so that it sounded very homosexual. Because Oh my God. Please don't hurt me. Oh my God and then he continued to scream and a very high pitched feminine voice. Apparently decided to McGowan was over the shed and he fired the weapon it into the ground far away from the suspect to basically be a warning shot also to alert his his partner who was across the street right. I got here hitting the fan. Come over here yeah. His partner had already actually observed that chase and was on his way over there right after the weapon discharged the VR ran straight for the fence bordering the next yard and by all accounts. He was almost like superhuman..

"Talking that much about the the the bar hearing from yesterday. I just seems like such a tiny percent percentage of the population. That's into that whole thing based on all the polls. Yeah. I mean, people just aren't that into it right is a tiny group of people that are really into it. And I guess they're playing to that crowd. But. We we haven't covered it that much. No, no. And I watched it, and I listened to it. And it was it was my lean twisting if you're into that sort of thing but in terms of its significance. I mean, everybody is exaggerating the significance of everything they say all the time in ho settings now. And I just I don't know I'm tired of it. This is from the New York Times about San Francisco and how they're handling school. So this is a by coastal version of the story. The New York Times reporting on San Francisco for decades, the education mantra from presidential campaign trails to local school board. Elections has been the same your zip code should not determine the quality of your school. Well, few cities have gone further and trying to make that idea a reality in San Francisco, and this is one of your many stories we like we're big fans of this genre of story. The the price of good intentions unintended consequences almost always because the the action that's intended to right? The wrongs or whatever is involves taking money from people by the government and throwing it at the problem, and it's generally poorly done. San Francisco allows parents to apply to any school in the district having done away with the traditional schools zoning eighteen years ago in an effort to desegregate its classrooms. That's not the way. Will you know, this doesn't work this way? Most places the the section of whatever city or town, or wherever you live in determines what school you go to they did away with our current system is broken said, Steven cook, president of the district board of education things are actually worse. We inadvertently made schools more segregated so in their attempts to make schools less segregated. They ended up with schools more segregated while. I think that's a pretty good definition of successful where we want to a bit of a whoop CDs. Yes. Well, or in the parlor to the Armstrong and Getty show. Affluent parents are able to take advantage of the system in the way in ways that low income parents cannot or they opt out of public schools all together. What happened in San Francisco suggests without remedies like wide-scale busing were school zones drawn deliberately to integrate school desegregation will remain out of reach after families submit their kindergarten applications ranking as many school choices they like across the city a computer algorithm makes assignments. But overall, many parents and city leaders considered a disappointment the district schools were more racially segregated in two thousand fifteen than they were in nineteen ninety even though the city's neighborhoods have become more integrated that pattern holds true in many of the nation's largest cities. The district is one of the most diverse in the nation. Thirty five percent of the students are. We suppose it's going to say here after turn the page Asian to while. That's something thirty five percent. Asian twenty seven percent Spanich fifteen percent white seven percent African American but over the past several decades, white Asian Hispanic students on average have been clustered in schools of more children of their own races. Okay. Yeah. All right. I don't know. This is this is why the whole in. No, grievance culture intersection -ality thing, it's so tiresome. So you got now minority white students and plurality Asians. And for some reason, we threw Hispanic students in there with them in that group, Tila, straight, the the segregation. So, but is this is this what happened like I've been saying this for years, and I think it's true this this doesn't get addressed enough. When people say, they want more diversity. They will almost always mean they want more people who look like them. It's just not that common that people actually want to be around other people of other LEGO out of their way to be around people of other races. That's just not the way we're built, and there's lots of examples of that happening in in places. They're affluent black neighborhoods in some areas of the country were black people live there, and they're not forced to live there. They choose that neighbor because they wanna live around other black people and they all catch on. Oh, hey, that's a nice black had some more black people booth there because it's just it's just you know, it's like it's like colleges. So you got all these college students you have there's some tendency for certain races to group together at the lunch table. Just wait is nobody likes to talk about the science the indisputable sciences shows infants prefer faces of their own race because these racist babies are racist racist. Little clan. Lazy and racist job racist, baby. We'll birds of a feather flock together, it's an ancient saying in various forms, and in no way does that to justify any sort of discrimination or hate or cruelty. You're not giving people their constitutional rights or anything. Idiotic like that. It just is. You got to be careful. You know, how far you go in a cheering? What you see as a better world in the face of what people seem to like curious to know, what their definition of a successful integration of the school district would look like. And even percentage of light, right? Like to match each school should be exactly with the population. Is those percentages as I just gave you is that the only possible outcome of in their mind a healthy school system. I don't know the kids be happier. And what they learn more. But how about my premise of when people say they want diversity. They generally mean, they more more people of their own race. I how often in a black neighborhood. Do you think do do people say there are too many black people here? We've really want more white pow how often do Asian people say, you know, what I just think there are too many Asian people miss this neighborhood, we need more black people and more Hispanics. Does that happen? Very often. I don't think it actually happens very often. No here in a neighborhood where you wish there were more people of your race. And then you call that diversity. Yeah. Yeah. I'm not anti the concept of diversity in various things. Either religious fanatic about it though. Realistic that when people say that they usually want more people of their own race now. So so you have integrated neighborhoods you open it up to where you can go to any school you want to and then people segregated themselves more. That's what happened here now in effect, and you know, cheek-by-jowl with that story is another one that happens to be from Cal unicorn Lia, and this actually I hate to take a dark, but it relates really closely to the parkland high school shooting of was it a year ago two years ago. I don't know time flies when you get old hand to any shootings. Right. Exactly absolutely horrific, but that's this trend in discipline in education. That's called the positive behavior interventions in support system. Where you don't punish people in the traditional way. There aren't specific disincentives for acting up or disrupting the classroom or open defiance or whatever you're placed in intervention programs counseling alternative programs etcetera etcetera, and they had a school district in visalia, California, where they just had a raucous school district meeting in which every single teacher, except one said, this is a miserable failure this doesn't work. I can't control my classroom. The word chaos came up over and over again. And this feel-good philosophy is sweeping the nation. The Obama administration was big on it and the whole parkland thing was all about they were trying to make their numbers. Look good to have federal funding in making your numbers. Look good means not punishing people. So another unintended consequence. It's wishful thinking discipline because. Ause the discipline fell more heavily on students of color, and so they thought well, you know, in in the, you know, the theoretical framework of our time that's proof that the problem is not the people or the culture or traditions, or.
