"Say that I'm a wisdom, Vince Lombardi trophy winner. I mean, yeah, I need all that stuff for you to do. I mean, you're the key to that this game against Kansas City. No doubt put that into perspective. Yes, without Aaron Rodgers, Reba ain't going nowhere, especially if Jordan love is going to play the way that he did regardless of how fantastic the defense plays. So yes, in that regard, man, Aaron, you know, we need to back with open arms, but you know, after everything is all said and done, I really don't want to talk to you. I really don't want to be around you because I really can't trust you. And anything that comes out of your mouth outside the football I mean, how can I believe you? If you're gonna be going ahead and doing this type of shit, because you created a distraction that could hamper my chances of winning a Super Bowl. I mean, in that what we talk about in what coaches and everything talk about all the time when they don't want to talk about something, distraction, distraction, distraction, distraction, we don't deal with distractions, we hate distractions, we can't, you know, we don't want to do anything with distractions, blah, blah, blah, and that's the deal. Isn't that what everybody talks about in that situation? So guess what? Aaron Rodgers for not just this past week, not just for the upcoming week for a couple of weeks down the road. He has created a distraction. The one thing that organizations and players and coaches hate. So I guess maybe it'll make the ultimate divorce between I mentioned before. Rogers, the fan base, the organization less difficult. In the in the off season. So short term long term stuff, hey, man, look Green Bay again. The law Kim city, they're going to go up to Seattle or they're going to host Seattle. Then they're at Minnesota, the ram to a right now getting their asses whooped by the Tennessee Titans, and they go on a buy..

"And the weapon i take off. They go check it out and we got a good tape on him selling me the gun and talking about the pure cyanide what happens is then we take the silence and we send it to headquarters and they do a ballistic check on it and also the silence was nice and quiet. Reduced decimal points Phenomenally and you wouldn't equate it with a gunshot. You know so. In fact it was a silence and no manufacturing those serial number and in federal he would have been facing. You know sale of the firearm. Which would be five years. I think a ten for manufacturing ten full possession ten for selling. He was spent thirty five years already for federal violation. But this was this was to be kind of state. It's real quick to this. Is like thirty days after now. Did you have discussions about using the cyanide to whack. Somebody else was were you. Were you trying to lure him in with something about a rich jewish kid. That's at the end at the end. Okay yeah so they take the weapon. I get the weapon. Then later we bring it to headquarters get that taken care of. And everything's fallen into place. Now he calls. He was always the initiator a once in a while. I would call but he was mostly the initiate this dump. What we mean. Ghetto vince lombardi service station. So we met at the vince. Lombardi service station several times. Okay as we meeting there. We're talking about how to murder people super channel. I don't get this. I said i killed people with fucking guns you know what is to seal with the cyanide. What what what do you do. He says listen my friend. He says it's nice and easy. Give him a boost. Is the quote a boost. You squirt the boost from the spray where you put it on food and it looks like they died of a heart attack works great. He says but he says you got to remember this. If you client wants to make a sample and you cut the tongue out stick it up his rectum or you put a burden his mouth. This ways that your client wants Clients wanted nice and easy so the best thing is is the pure cyanide you give them a boost and they go by by jesus christ i said i don't know man i i like my way we're talking about you know. Listen he says yeah and then we're talking about how we made. The cops look like jerks. He says he dumped the body. That was frozen for two years. He says nee only thought he was dead for year. They killed who's malabang and and Deputy he used at the york motel. He had two of his associates there and he went and get hamburgers and he told the other two when when he gives this hamburger to mala bam. Make sure you don't eat the ones with the pickles. That's with the boost. That's the cyanide on him and he comes back with mcdonald's hamburgers and he. Everybody takes hamburger. He gives the other ones to his mouth. Tamala to mala ban them and.

Poker Coach Tommy Angelo: Know and Grow Your 'Act Last' Percentage
"That you know that it's way way better to be last than i. How should that affect our game. So i'm just going to give you my answer. Yeah i know your answer. I have a feeling i know what your answer is going to be in that. Don't just like don't play lots of pots out of position. Like that's the right okay. So so no surprise. I remembered the name of my first position video. In the course of this conversation which is knowing grow your act last percentage so this concept your act last percentage is something i've been it's been part of my game since the beginning mentally but i only labeled it and started actually tracking it and thinking about it like in the last ten years ago so so let's just say we agree. That acting last is better than acting. I okay if you act lasts the same number of times as everyone else. Then you've gained nothing if you could somehow have the button every hand. Let's say or being cutoff. The button every hand right. You'd be unstoppable. So what can we do with that information. Those words that i just said. How can we translate that into dollars in our pocket. I believe it's super obvious and simple things to do which is to adjust your game free flop primarily but also your flop game with this as the prime purpose to act last way more than they do. You just said even the bad player. His results are twice as good when they last. So if you could just act last way more than everybody else right there and if you have decent poker skills almost can't lose and so the thing. I've been coaching people on for fifteen years. And now i have. These labels for is folding folding. The blinds nothing more than folding the blinds way more than your opponents do will automatically increase. Your class percentage

"Answer Key so I can help my child study. The kids ask stupid questions. But now I see where they get it from about telling my child what to do. It makes him angry. Yeah, that's so funny. Uh, my son doesn't like to wear underwear. So please check him during the day to make sure he didn't take it off. No, that's weird. Just let my son be the line leader every day. That's all he wants. That's all he wants. You might hear what they want. I would very much appreciate it if you don't talk to my son. While you're on your period. He deserves better. That is not a vibe. Dude. How are you still alive? Time to do my daughter's here. Who writes that I would appreciate. You know, Doctor my son while you're on your period. What What? What kind of Salem 16. 19 is this? Are we just shipping people out of the woods for a week? Oh, what does other heads is? What? I don't understand what these parents Don't get them at all with somebody thought this is this is this is a totally legitimate issue, And I have to bring this up with the pair. As a parent. I need to talk to the teacher. But at this zoo very important to me. There's there's a bunch more of those. I'm not gonna sit here and bore you any longer. But There is a story that came out Bret, you may have seen this after the Super Bowl. The Tampa Bay's Were celebrating. And they decided they were gonna do what I thought was the most fitting celebration for Super Bowl victory by a team named after pirates. They decided have a boat parade. Well, in the middle of it Does that makes perfect sense. Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Yeah, we're buccaneers. Everybody onto about the only thing I wish is that they had actually been scooters or large wooden boats with cannons sticking out of the side. That would've been awesome. But just the same, You know, Jolly Roger floating through the bay. That would be cool. They put together the big boat parade. So they're out of the boat parade, and you may have seen footage of Tom Brady just knock erred. Tom Brady was the most not New England type Tom Brady that we've ever seen, and I have to tell you He appeared the happiest I think I've ever seen him. Uh, hey, just looked I heard the interviews before the Super Bowl, where, he said, Regardless how this game turns out, you know, next season preparation for next season starts on Monday. Well, I think you postpone that maybe a week so that he could go celebrate that victory with his teammates. And he looked like he was having a blast. When they got back to shore. Gronkowski kind of had to carry him to make sure it was straight. To get back Tombo us or wherever it was that they were going and I personally and some people like a bad role model. But me. I was happy for Tom Brady because he just looked. It looks so pure. Is dialed in as we've seen Tom for his entire career. He looked like he was genuinely enjoying things, and that's not a side of him that we see very often We see the very professional very buttoned down Tom Brady all the time guarded. I think it's safe to say and for good reason. I understand why you have to be guarded as a celebrity today. I've thought it was great. So I was very happy for him. At one point during this boat parade of Tampa Bay Pirates. Tom Brady takes the Vince Lombardi Trophy and he throws it from the back of his boat to Rob Gronkowski, who's sitting on the bow of the following boat. Throw it right. Did you see this? Yeah, I did. You saw the throat? Yeah. Okay. So Albert brought this to my attention in. My wife told me about it. I hadn't seen the footage, okay? I haven't seen the whole thing. So Albert says we gotta look the whole thing so we can talk about this, okay? Heard about it. I just hadn't seen so I watched the video. It's interesting. Excuse me. It's a decent distance that he threw that that trophy. Is that fair to say. I mean, Eve, that thing probably 15 ft or more. It looked like about 15. Ft. Yeah, Absolutely Okay. So After seeing it, I thought, OK, They threw the trophy. Grant caught it just like you caught two touchdown passes. Everything's fine, right trophy didn't no harm no foul. Yeah. In my mind, though, I'm thinking what if that trophy had not been caught one if Tom Brady and kind of a half Stockard state on the back of that boat had slipped and gone into the bank, and the trophy goes in there with it, right? Yeah, that's crazy to think about. Is somebody died for the trophy. I mean, somebody has to go down and get it at that point, don't they? Oh, of course. I think they have the money to fish it out. He's got gobs of money, right? But it has to be done. So somebody with me so I don't know. Throw a buoy real quick so that a dive team can go find it later. Like I thought that could've been a real mess. Real disaster big time, and it certainly would have gone it would have lived in the annals of sports history. Am I right? That would have been one of those in 2021. The Lombardi Trophy was heaved into the bay. Example with that, it would have happened with that increase its value. The fact that has been at the bottom of the bay probably. Yeah. No, the historic significance of whatever it is. Okay, so I don't know how this lady ends up getting any air time, but she does. So the daughter of the guy who's made all of the Vince Lombardi trophies for the Super Bowl since the sixties was mad about that throw, So Tom Brady heaves it. Gronkowski catches that she Has a breakdown. All right, so here here she is, Because somebody put a camera and microphone in your face. I want you to imagine this person she like so many people who are complaining to the teachers that you heard open the segment. He's got the full care and haircut, the full Karen look, and she's definitely got the full Karen tude going on here. Here we go, and it takes a lot of work a lot of.

"I really got to enjoy it because, as a father, I got to give my daughter a Valentine's Day card. And gift like she wouldn't really understood that in two months, you know, it's a dad, you're supposed to take care of your daughter's there. Your Valentine's I guess, forever or until somebody down the line takes her hand. But it was nice I got her She loves. He's like singing toys because she kind of liked bounces through them. And I found one that says Be my valentine spins around is a unicorn and all she kept dad that play kept wanting me to play it all day long. So that really For my heart. That was the best part of my day. We see my daughter Happy on. Valentine's very cool. Very nice. Bourbon Melon. I had dinner I made dinner for for her Did some salmon and some lobster tails, which is very nice. And then we exchanged cards and we had a nice night. And so you know, we had a good Valentine's Day as well. I was trying to keep an eye on Daytona, but the six hour delay, Willie put me Put me into overdrive. I will tell you more as very exciting news around here. Valentine's Day. Was the first two episodes of breaking bad for me. Yes, Yes. Okay. All right. I am not going to get into it now because we got a lot of other stuff to get into your Maybe sometime this week. But let me tell you I love it Great Two episodes in It is just Acting is amazing. Story is amazing. Cinematography is amazing. Writings. Amazing. Just everything is so obviously amazing from the opening scene of Episode number one. Enjoy it and take your time. Don't feel I give the watch six episodes and one day Could you get hooked and the cliffhangers a good. Breathe it in. Enjoy it. Enjoy the ride. You'll have a blast. I am not a huge TV person. And so I don't have not watched a lot of these all time famous shows and I wait years upon years before I do so. So that I'm really like I know that this is a historic one that I'm going to invest in because it's such a time commitment. So morazan bogus were shaming me now long ago that I've never seen breaking bad I've seen The Sopranos have seen the wire. Right? They said breaking bad is right there, as everybody is seemingly said So I'm like I finally got to get to do this after football season and have invested and Brilliant, really brilliant room. Great. Hey, look, by the end of this if you've seen breaking bad, The Sopranos, the wire. Nobody could really shame you on any of the other shows from there, in my opinion. That's kind of the big Three, right? Yeah, I would say that's the big three. That's the West Wing oftentimes gets prop shop into that conversation is other shows you propped up, but then it becomes a debate. I don't think you could debate those three we're talking about. So once you're there, I think your basis is set. Go back to your 85 bears documentaries and nobody will criticize you. Over the weekend. The daughter of the Lombardi trophies. Designer. Spoke out, okay, and this went viral over the weekend. So we know what happened last week. Tom Brady in the bucket ears they are celebrating on the boat. Tom Brady is the Vince Lombardi Trophy. He ends up chucking it to one of the other boats, thankfully, does not fall into the water. But taking quite the risk there, they're all kind of inebriated. It's a big party. You're taking a sacred object that you're throwing it on to another boat. So it was. It was questionable decision making to me And the reason I say this is because in 2000 and one Tom Brady is looking at that trophy. I'm sure just like Michael Jordan's looking at that trophy in 1991. It is a cherished beloved piece of Of your life. It is beyond just a trophy for sports. It is ah, chunk of your life. It is recognition. It is achievement. It is labor. It is tears and blood and sweat. I mean, the trophy itself represents this amazing emotional journey and this bomb that you have with With everybody, and it's kind of amazing. And I just think that in 2021 I'm sure I do. This is well. Things are just kind of disposable. I was watching America's game over the weekend Shocker, which is NFL Films documentary about all of the Super Bowl champions, and they're just so exquisitely done, and they have these kind of You know, very Beautiful shots of of the interview, ease that have gone through their lives. They're reflecting back on what that Super Bowl meant it. It's just very poignant. You know, some of the discussion points about the trophy is like so filled with emotion and this bond this connection And now it's like Who cares? D A. It's a freaking piece of metal. Tom Brady could do whatever he wants. It is just so missing the point. It is so missing the point, so Lorraine Gross. Her dad. Was the one who designed the original Vince Lombardi Trophy and apparently her family. Has done this Silver Smith thing for years, and the Vince Lombardi Trophy is their greatest accomplishment, As you might imagine. Imagine, saying, Yeah, my family designed the Vince Lombardi Trophy and makes the Vince Lombardi trophy or whatever that's a pretty amazing thing. So Lorraine doesn't interview And she says that she was kind of aghast that Tom Brady would treat her trophy, You know, kind of, like, just Whatever a beer can. So let me play for you. The clip of Lorraine Gross. It takes a lot of work a lot of hard work A lot of hours go into it. It just really upset me that this trophy was disgraced and disrespected by being thrown as if it was a real football. I didn't sleep for the past two nights.

"I am sure many of us listening so much speaking have made very stupid mistakes when we have consumed alcohol that being said I refused to believe if this was Tom Brady's first Super Bowl, even his second Super Bowl that he takes the chance off launching the trophy from boat to boat knowing that it's it's not just him that could reach the boat. It's the fumbling on the catch of the anything gonna happen. Fell in the water. I mean, we're talking about, basically for who knows how deep that river is at that point To get down there as you mentioned, breaking off something like that. I think this is just another case. If you really did a character study that frankly, Tom Brady's just done this too long. Been around too long in one too much. I say that seriously because That trophy doesn't mean as much to him is. It would mean to another guy who won that. It doesn't mean as much to him as it would have this year to Drew Brees or our Rogers of these guys winning the second title. It's just the hunk of stale picture. Rob Manfred. It's a hunk of metal of this point that Tom Brady loves the idea of being the greatest loves the idea of kissing the rings but the actual winning of the trophy You can't tell me deep psychological wise isn't meaningless to him when he's treating it like that Throne trophy trophy. This is just another case example. He's just one too much and needs to retire it. It's not special to him anymore if he could launch it, not caring what happens on the other end of that launch. This is perhaps your best take Because it's absolutely right and nobody talks about this because it's that next layer under it. Everybody saw Tom Brady partying yesterday and just celebrated it because, like, Look, he's letting his hair down. He's having a good time. He stumbling drunk like us. I couldn't stop seeing takes or hearing people say Wasn't that awesome? Brady got so hammered yesterday. And the next layer under that is If you are willing to take what has always been sacred, this Vince Lombardi Trophy, named after the greatest head coach ever and winner of the first two Super Bowls. If you can go from Wide eyed youngster cherishing that trophy because it's symbolic of this. This climb to the top of the mountain and this incredible life moment if you can go from there. To chucking it from boat to boat. It has lost its significance. Tom Brady loves being a winner. He loves it. It's why he puts in the work. It's why he is practicing when nobody else is allowed to practice. It is why he is eating avocado ice cream and no white sugars. When the rest of us are throwing down bacon aiders. It is why, at 43 years old, he is still driven and still motivated. He loves being a winner. He loves this. He loves being admired. He loves being applauded. He loves the feeling of the confetti and the championship and the success of the achievement and the conquering. He loves it. If you watched the last dance with Michael Jordan, it was a really good psychological study into what wire Jordan that way it was the Conker That he needed that he wanted desperately. What? The symbolism of the trophy. Is no longer significant that that trophy didn't signal signify what he looks for. He just looks for the feeling but the trophy itself and even this feeling is so At this point, mundane that he's willing to just take what is again. This is I don't want to put too much emphasis on this, but This the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Is the sacred object of the NFL. If you go to the Giants facility. They have therefore trophies in glassed in encased in glass and set asides that when you walk by, it's like a museum. And if you go to multiple NFL facilities, they all do this. There propped up a team facilities and they have This piece of art behind them and these Mementos of the moment Brady is chucking it. You know, like it's a beer can And it has to speak to something where it no longer has that same significance to him. He loves the feeling of being a winner he loves being admired. He doesn't actually respect anymore. Like the journey that goes into it, and the sacrifices that go into it Now it's just a big party to him. And you know, Drew Brees. Like you said. He wins this. Come on. He is It's holding against his his chest plate, and he's not giving it up. Aaron Rodgers. Same thing if you know any of these guys. It's just it would mean something different than chucking it to a different boat. You're right. Whereas he's one too much. It just doesn't hold the same importance to him. Can't reform next year can't root for him? I'm sorry. And and just as the one last thing If you want to argue this point that you and I just made, I'm sure they're probably listening is going. Oh, come on. How do you know all the quarterbacks to be? My question to you is what do you think Tom Brady's reaction would have been had that trophy not been caught clanked off a boat and sunk to the bottom of the river. What his reaction What is reaction have been that the party's over Stop. I can't believe I did that or what his reaction's been throwing his arms off the sunset. Ah, who cares? Because my guess is you're more the latter. Would left. Yeah, You don't care. He didn't care that he's got seven of them. What's the physical trophy itself? What is six versus seven? What is seven Verses? Eight. That's what it doesn't matter doesn't matter. Again when Michael Jordan is there is this shot? That is so pointed of Michael Jordan 9 90 91. The trophy itself is the most important Jewels in the world. It is it is everything. It is the hope Diamond, because what it represents. Is this achievement that he didn't know he would ever get to. He didn't know the feeling he was looking at it like this is what I chased for all of these years. This was the reason that I was motivated to do all of things that I did all the sacrifices that I made all of those The heartache and the loss is Seven of those You're just well a chuckle to.

What if i want to throw some balls to catch some awesome new value. Are you or can you do that. And i'm like years to ask telling me. He wants his guts illicit by the catch the balls but we're not gonna do and then i turn around and half. The team is out there practicing after practice catching balls in working on individual skills. In whatever i guess. That kind of pressure forced me to live up to the standard for practice in for the standard acceptance from the players. And when you can develop it on your team when you can develop them entertain your new way to win it in it has it. Has it will all of the guys out there talented. All of them are thoroughbreds. They wouldn't be there couldn't have gone through college and gotten to they wouldn't be baptist or free. They can't get there without having the blood there were love to me. It goes back to what the vince lombardi said. A measure of who we are is determined by what we do with what we have not complaining about what we don't have. It's what we do what we have in any game plan any strategy any system that a head coach or coach established good at employ is got. It's gotta be developed by In real time with what you have. You can't say this by system. And i don't have the pieces fit my system. I mean that's a recipe for katina failure. You say well. Guess what. I got his we. Let's talk about the Kansas City Chiefs, and that's what we did right before we went to break, Patrick Mahomes said. You know what? Sitting in that locker room after that loss. I ain't trying to feel that again. That was awful. Tomorrow. Patrick Mahomes will have surgery to repair his foot injury suffer turf toe. They're fixing a plate something or another in his foot. Listen, I'm not a doctor. Just understand he got a busted foot and be happy. It's not yours. But he'll be fine. You should come back and have no issues. Do you think that this chief's team will be back? Do you think this chief's team will have issues? Because the way I look at it? Yeah. Ain't nobody guaranteed to go to the Super Bowl every year. But I don't think this is a drought for my homes and the chiefs. I don't think this is an issue where we won't see him one another ring over the next. I don't know, three or four years. I think he will. I think it's talent speaks for itself. I think they will put a better offensive line around him. I think they'll get some defensive playmakers and ultimately when you are damn good. When you have an opportunity to compete. You have players who will sacrifice a little bit just to be on the team. Unfortunately right now the Kansas City Chiefs there over the cap, but I also think because they do have an ability to compete for Super Bowl. You're gonna have some of those veterans say. Hey, like a tire on Matthew. Yeah. I'll restructure my deal. What do you think? Well, the Kansas City Chiefs bounced back over the next several years. Do you think that they will go out and hoist another Vince Lombardi Trophy? Or do you think what we just saw, as is as good as it will get I think they'll be back. I think they'll have another one. Now why, from the NX Rover, Bhangra Studios and radio City Yes, He's this Steve Steffy T show. Good morning, Wisconsin. Welcome to the day after National football Hangover day sounds about right. It's the eighth of February. Yeah, we we all most of us. I shouldn't say we all because there are some people who don't watch any of this stuff. This is football, just like two thirds of the country. Apparently, don't watch any of the game. Which is kind of weird. Could you think their watches for the commercials? You don't like football? Who doesn't like football, by the way, come home. I mean, there's still 100. Million people that watch or something. Yeah, but I tweeted this out yesterday. If you look at the top 50 Television event of all time. Football's not even on the list. Baywatch is one of the what the Baywatch is a bit. I don't know what what issue or what version of that That show would have been, but anyway, so yeah, Football was the centerpiece of yesterday's TV lineup. Hey, can I say this? A kind of a disappointing game on the field? I think you could say that. Yeah. Most people would say, you know, unless you're Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan? Yeah. Then you're thrilled. New title Town south, right? It just wasn't a close game. At all. Remember at any point, Casey didn't score a touchdown in the game. That's how boring it once they barely moved the ball at all. Mm. Shocked. Were you more surprised that it was We were surprised the Buccaneers win or the fact that it was a blowout and neither direct. Yeah, because it just I mean, I told Gina like the second half, I was doing other stuff. Was reading a book kind of walking around the house getting stuff ready for the week. It was like there was no drama at all. Just waiting for Tom Brady to get another ring on his finger. Seven. They've run out of fingers. He's coming back. Yeah, Their team's gonna be pretty much the same extra, too. So I actually made it my show poll today next year's winning quarterback in the Super Bowl. Tom Brady or someone other than Tom Brady. That's why switch places on the show, Paul find it on Twitter at 6 20 Wtmj or WTMJ. Steve. That's pretty much been the argument since 2001 is it is one of his prime, right? I believe he has one since 2001 like he's 11 3rd. Yeah, a third of them a third of them. That's crazy. Yeah. The package. The sixties were dominant like that. Five championships and really short amount of time. Tom Brady has said. I don't care what team I'm on. I'm gonna be as dominant as a franchise. He's got more Super Bowls and most franchise any franchise franchise. Yeah. He has sold his soul to the devil, right? I mean, there's no way that this is, you know, and the thing that I took away I was watching the coverage after the game. You know the the ceremony and all that stuff. He's still a dad with young kids. I mean, just a guy with kids. They're jumping around on stage. I mean, that part's cool. Yeah. I mean, it's cool. We're in the middle of something that we're probably never going to see again ever. You know, just with a guy who for some reason is Winner as much You might hate to say it, but I mean, one third of the Super Bowls, he won his fifth Super Bowl M V P It's just amazing to me. Remember, Deflate gate? No. Yes, She s so all of that. And then the Patriots got spent more than he did. But they've done random checks on football since then, and they found zero times with a been deflated to the degree that they were before. That doesn't matter. He still wins. He's still win, I says, winning more. Friday. He's the Terminator. Football and just won't go away. I was not surprised at all that yesterday's outcome turned out to be in 15 with Tom Brady's favor, and I tweeted this out yesterday to isn't a win for all of us, because most of people from Tampa from somewhere else her not from Tampa, can you don't win? Yes. Do you think that a House Party of Tom Brady's house last night? They did have a House party has reached reading about it get, like all his nieces and nephews and because now it doesn't matter. Didn't get cold. It doesn't matter Now he's done. He's the season's over now. I mean, you don't wish harm on anybody. But apparently some of the the code word protocols relax outside of the stadium that the celebration on the streets of Tampa Close quarters. So the Vince Lombardi trophy now in Tampa for Tampa, after what 20 years? Whatever love 30 40, man? Yeah, not really think he's rolling over in his grave? I don't think so. No, he He liked excellence. He liked perfection. I know we're going to get to the commercials in a minute, man. What did you think of the intro to the game? The Vince Lombardi like hologram situation sounded more like Al Pacino to me, but we had the guy. One of the guys from my 117. Joe was that's cool. That's awesome. I didn't realize that until I think Jordan tweeted that texted me, right? You texted me or something about that last night. Somebody texted me last night. I thought it was Jordan. Maybe with somebody else s O. That was cool. Um, the whole thing we'll get to the commercials after the break the package itself the game unfeeling. Not so good Halftime. I liked I love the weekend, but the audio was horrible and the commercials so so That's my take. Do we really remember any comer? I know this commercials get hyped up a lot. But do we ever really room Is there every year when you like man that that commercial set up had like 10 memorable and never Did like to Springsteen one That was probably the most expensive one g. That was good, and he he had he had said no. For like, a long time in his career. He was gonna do any ads like that. He did this one, and I thought the message messaging was good. A lot of my conservative Republican friends were saying I was phony baloney. You remember where Bruce comes from on politics? He's not gonna be necessary Align with you or with the way you think, Anyway, we'll do this. Take a break. Come back to the whole bunch of stuff you can talk about. These Super Bowl hangover. Has commenced. Although I didn't have a drink and you have a drink yesterday I had a couple of adult beverages, but nothing over, you know, work on the next day is all that's in. My head is like every beer you open you go. Okay, well You know that alarm stuck. Do you agree with me? That ratings aside, it would be better to start to give it to 30. Yeah, we're talking in my office yesterday. 33 30 Gabby. Fantastic. But think about the West Coast. So what They have Sonny football ready? It's the right. That's the way that's when.

A Casino Chain Bets It Can Hang with the Big Dogs of Fantasy Sports
"The super bowl is this weekend. And the vince lombardi. Trophy is on the line but also on the line. If you're a fantasy sports player your money if you're not familiar. Here's how fantasy sports work you pay apu pick a roster of real players and then wait to see how they do during real games. If your fantasy wide receivers scores a touchdown and a real football game your score goes up. If your fantasy quarterback throws an interception and a real game your suffers and if you find yourself with a roster of players that just aren't performing well you're out of luck you're stuck with him for the season you can kiss that prize money for the highest fantasy score. Good bye well. At least that's how it was before you'll came on the scene over a decade ago both and you'll and its rival draftkings allow users to play daily fantasy sports instead of waiting for the season to end to see how your fantasy team does. You can switch out players everyday feeling good about tom. Brady doesn't you can pick him one day and drop in the next. That flexibility is what makes fan duel and draft kings. The big dogs of daily fantasy sports both companies are valued at over a billion dollars but a recent acquisition is throwing another competitor into the ring and this company knows a bit about hedging. Your bets the casino chain bally's announced last week that it acquired monkey knife fight. Yes that's actually the name of that company but don't laugh it off. Monkey knife fight is the fastest growing daily fantasy platform in the united states and with that acquisition bally's hopes to be able to square off against its larger more established competitors their first challenge standout in a statement about the acquisition. Bali says monkey knife fight is already doing that. He claims that rival platforms are clogged with professional daily fantasy sports players. Which makes it tougher us regular folks to win yes. There are professional daily fantasy. Sports players bally's though says monkey knife fight attracts sports fans and makes quote having fun and winning part of the experience. Another benefit of the acquisition says. Bally's is more customers. Bally's is a big name in betting and betting which all comes down to chance is very different than playing fantasy sports which comes down to skill. at least that's the argument. Fantasy sports companies have made to lawmakers right now only around two dozen states allow sports betting and for bally's that's just not enough customers but guess who already has a wide database of customers in thirty seven states where daily fantasy sports are legal. Yup monkey knife fight. The acquisition means more users in more states for bally's but fan duel draft. Kings shouldn't necessarily be sweating yet. Both companies surged in the third quarter of two thousand twenty draft kings monthly paying users topped one million and fan duel attracted nearly half a million new users that quarter. So it's fair to say that neither companies going anywhere fast because even though sports are a national pastime it looks like fantasy. Sports may soon be edging in on that

Jason Pierre Paul is going to have an absolutely monster effort on Sunday, and it's going to lead to a bucket Ears championship. And J. P P. And the rest of this emboldened Buccaneers team that keeps getting more and more belief in itself with every week and every victory is going to look back and say, And we will look back and say the injuries on the Chiefs offensive line was another reason. That this was the bucket here season that this was just a buck's magic carpet. Ride it. I am leaning that way to picking the bucks this season. We're in this game rather because it has felt like this year. Things have just continually broken their way or opened up or they just had a change in their dynamic. And this is another one where the injury Eric Fisher. One of best offensive line on the Chiefs. Offensive linemen of the chief's happened to the A F C title game on a season where they've already lost two other players on the offensive line. Two other starters of the offensive line. Leaving the chief's very vulnerable to a very good pass rush for the Buccaneers. And now to take over. Eric Fisher's place in the line is gonna be Mike Rammer. She's gonna move up from the right side. The left side Well, J P. P was asked about this and says I've never heard of him. I don't even know who my grammars is, and it doesn't really matter. This is the freaking Super Bowl. I don't care who they throw at me. Send me three sent me. Two or three people to block me. I'm just doing what I doing. That's a you problem. You figure it out. I'm coming to play football game. And had some trash talk about how it just doesn't matter what the Chiefs do. He's just gonna come and destroy things and it's either going to go that way. Where we go. Wow. You know what? Is everything broke the The way of the bucket ears. You know that pass interference at the end of the NFC championship game and true breezes armed, basically disintegrating in the divisional round and the NFC East winner being a garbage winner at seven and nine. And then the Super Bowl. It just so happened that this was the season The chief's lost three starters of the offensive line. It just might be that type of thing or the flipside is J P p is gonna get embarrassed or the flip side is that J p p is gonna be completely silenced by backups and no names. And we're gonna be laughing in his face on Sunday, right? That's kind of the only two ways this king go. There is no way that J P P has like a sack and a half in a chief's win. That just will not be the way that this will Either. He's gonna have a sack and a half and a forced fumble. And the Buccaneers defense will be lauded as one of the big reasons that they've got the Vince Lombardi Trophy or Jpp will be held without a tackle and a no name. Unsung bunch of backups totally silenced that pass rush. That's the only two ways of this thing. Can go when we come back here on the show, Danny Amendola..

If he plays on Saturday, he would become the first player in NFL history to play for two different teams in the same postseason. Belle dear, is allowed to sign with another team so quickly because he was a member of the Colts practice squad. Just another cork in a covert affected NFL season. I guess now don't get me wrong. This is great work by Packers general manager Brian Good against he's taking advantage of a roster loophole to snag a guy that filled a key role along the Packers offensive line last season. But something about this just rubs me the wrong way. Belle dear started for the Colts in the playoffs on Saturday, Literally. Three days ago, he felt the heartbreak of a playoff loss. He's suffered through the postgame locker room scene where tears were almost certainly shed. He wrote the team playing home to Indianapolis, presumably in silence and reflection. And now he's just shuffling off to Green Bay for another playoff game this weekend. Imagine how his cold's teammates feel. Hey, guys! Sorry. "Um, Yeah, well, how about the work? Life balance? I think you know, Seven years in something I can say is, I feel that I have gone to that place where I have it. Part of that is the luxury of having an amazing team around you where I was. Just in my wife and I went to the Mafia coast for two weeks, Actually, on a babymoon. She's almost six months pregnant, and I wasn't worried about leaving everyone behind. You know, it was like I know, I know. They have everything in good hands with them. They can, you know, tackle the obstacles. We have systems. We have accountability on. I think that to me is like, you know, it makes me feel that that I'm you know, have achieved success, which, of course, I want so much more. But a certain level of success is that Can, you know? Step away and everything's not gonna fall apart. Who gave your first great piece of advice? Um, one of our angel investors is kind of a mentor coach named Bobby Margolis, who did Cherokee jeans back really kind of grew it more in the nineties. Also love Bobby's name Bobby and Margolis. Exactly. Gonna call Bobby Margolis. You know he loves this tequila here. Great golfer, he said you could walk through a wall when you don't know it's there. I think that's such incredibly valuable advice to especially young entrepreneurs starting out because you don't realize all the rules, you're breaking and you just do it. And that's a good thing, because if you're too aware you're going to just, you know, kind of tippy tap around it, and that's not going to get you. You know that's not going to create revolutions of business. On the other hand, Vince Lombardi, the great football coach, used to say I love players who run through walls for me, but the one that walks around the wall that's my quarterback. I love that till I got supported Jeb. Your friends when you started really good support. I think that Spanish. Everything looking, right? Yeah, totally. I mean, you know, I'm sure some of them back there in my life. Okay, Let's see how this goes, You know, but I think I think you know, having that kind of buying from your friends. Eli Manning and the Hall of Fame: The case for and against
"Ally manning thing announced his retirement on Wednesday retiring after sixteen seasons. He's thirty nine years old The giants quarterback who was of course supplanted by Danny dimes. This year but was a rock for for many years is now heads into retirement and it makes sense Meena In fact as a New York I all my friends are giant spans. I was on a tax change just the day before this news broke. And we're talking about that. Allies GonNA retire probably soon. Because when you look at the landscape with all these older quarterbacks on the market and what allies allies been doing the last couple of years. It never made sense that he was going to find a place to start games or perhaps he didn't want to be a backup. So this all made sense but still it. It is the end of an era in New York. I would love nothing more to come in here and defy I. I think what you all know. I'm about to say about Eli Manning I should not be wh- down calls US football cools right. Yeah I would love to say you know what guys you can't tell the story of football without Eli Manning which by the way why why is he the only person who gets that benefit say that about anyone else other than Eli. There's a lot of guys you can't tell the story of football without Aaron Hernandez put them in the hall of fame or if you want to look at pat super we were both. I mean they don't want any of them without dont`a hightower that's a holiday thing. Greg is compared. Eli Manning to know first. Ten Sahal Hyphen reductionist could be just one thing. You consider about a candidate quite well the few want ally in the holly. It's either two cases. One one is longevity. which is I think? A lot of people throw out. Because there's just too many guys who would get in by that and then the other is the two super bowls in the story thing. That's just not about how I would define it. It just becomes an argument. About how do you define the hall of fame. I think in my case against him has always been and yeah. I've been making this case for probably eight or nine years. So this is how long he's been average He's just been averaged entire career. Average in completion percentage yards per attempt. He's actually really way. Below average in the law of the interception categories passer rating these average. He's just for the time he entered the league to the time he left the league. He was an average quarterback over or that span. I I still don't like that being the conversation though when he retired. I we've had this argument so many times that I think we're just tired of it like we've said everything that there is to say about. Eli Manning in the Hall of Famer Eli Manning in general that. I actually was annoyed almost yesterday that that's the conversation when a really great player who was a big part of the league in you know no matter whether he was a top five quarterback no he never was maybe in two two thousand eleven. I went through it once. I think I had him at a top five quarterback one year top ten quarterback only one other your. Yeah that's not the hall of fame but like immediately the second he retires. The entire conversation is like the start of the public hall of fame. Talk which is GONNA be. Never any people are so confident about what's going to happen you don't I know what's going to happen becoming. We were like you know he will be in. It's like you don't know that I think the manning name like this is not a new thought but just that we've talked about royalty and stuff that he's sort of this. NFL Family fixture that. The people voting for this. I think they're gonNa Push Eli Manning right in not maybe. CBS voters down. The conversation depends on who he's against. Though you're really does. Conversation will be never ending for five years then going in. I'm sorry I don't listen you. Everybody discounts counting stats and cory will get too caught up or only point at the two rings and the two superbowl. MVP's but I just think there's something that'd be so if he didn't win those super bowls he's he's not he's not going to have him. I get that but there's something to be said and it's always been feel overlooked both on this podcast aspect in general. Because Eli can be a target. I feel like on twitter that the giants drafted him or the chargers. Technically but the giants Brought him into the team in two thousand four. They put him in the lineup in around October that year and then they never had to think about the quarterback position again for the next ten eleven eleven twelve years and I know things didn't end very well but they should have been thinking about it so when you're when you're talking about right ten years okay I'm GonNa say ten years when you think about other teams about your Brown's Mark My jets so many other teams in the league that go through constant search a churn looking for a guy and you end up with a stop. Stopgap and a rookie. You stinks and then a stop Gat and then another rookie. And maybe you hit on something. Like the SEAHAWKS got Russell Wilson. They don't have to think about anything. Russell Wilson's a better player than the but he eli for ten twelve years. They put him in there. He did his job. He was not spectacular but he was steady. You never had to worry about him getting hurt because he never did. He's the most durable the player ever. You'd never had to worry about him saying stupid something stupid to the media. He always handled that very well. You never had to worry about him. Getting into like a behind the scenes drama with with a coach and exploding and him being at odds and using the media to get a point across and all that stuff he was a Walter Payton Man of the year guy he was a total title. Good Dude and in those playoff runs. Then you factor that in for me. He rose up in historic way. And then just beat. Anybody didn't beat the Jacksonville. We'll jaguars didn't beat a Pittsburgh. steelers heat the Patriots and he'd be Bill Bell Check and he'd beat Tom Brady. And if if that's not something that should be given added points knowing who the Patriots are and what they represent in this era of NFL football. I'm sorry I disagreed to just kind of view that uh-huh yeah beat the Patriots. No he beat the greatest team of all time the greatest quarterback in the greatest head coach. I think that means a lot. His team did right playing. Okay Ah in that Super Bowl. I don't think he would say he had the best game. Even the play he's known for is crazy play. That could never be replicated. The two twenty eleven run is what I remember most fondly. Va Man. I think people kind of forget that won the last game of the regular season that they played it was against the cowboys and then the three league games in the NFC playoffs and that Super Bowl he had a collection of some of the most improbable. Low percentage awesome throws goes for five weeks. Stretch that you'll ever see Joe flacco kind of had a somewhat similar run any add little moments like that the year after they won the Super Bowl two thousand eight. He was really good throughout the year but they didn't win the Super Bowl because if eli manning they want it because of their defense I mean they wanna because of Justin Tuck and he learned of it. It's equally reductive to me to say. They won because of the argue he was part of it took to get into the. I mean the kind of connected back to the HIGHTOWER. No one's out here making a case for hightower you kind of do you. You like to throw this one in. I is the single most important outside of Brady and Gronk like the Patriots. Don't have this run of Super Bulls without dont`a hightower. I think I don't think belongs in the hall of fame but you could every all of the cases were making for. Eli You could just as easily make for like twenty other other random playwright quarterback a case you've made for you. I think is the case. Why he's a great memorable? NFL figure. It's just that's different than in. Our weather also talked about about it forever his position he was not a top ten quarterback. I would say for every year but two of his career. There's no one in the hall of fame you can say they've also said forever. You're in West. You've quoted Vince Lombardi on this that the quarterback it just the most important for a position or a position where the spotlight as and that comes with way. More pressure To it then dot high tower where his position is. I just think what you I was able to do in that spot in those two years is something you can't take away from. I and and say oh he was carried to titles. Because I don't I just don't see it that way. I think you've you stated the case very well. I think it falls shy of the hall of fame. I think if you're a jets fan like Dan or you're the browns fan and you've seen nothing but Ship wrecked chaos at the quarterback position. That the the idea that you would draft someone who would play as Eli did before a PR stunt got him benched you know. Couple of years twelve years of sixteen starts and by the way we are stunned. Got Him benched. He got himself well. That's fine but I'm saying but also the disrespect I just giants fan and you draft draft Philip rivers and he. He did what he did. But you get Eli Manning out of it and you know. He's going to win two super bowls in essentially a total ironman at the position. He's a hall of fame to a lot of giants fans I get. I don't think he belongs to the meeting. Early either reading a story just reading up on allies career. I completely forgot the whole two thousand seventeen. Rob Gronkowski set to retire from football after nine seasons with the Patriots
"But rob gronkowski will not survive in the two thousand nineteen oh that sounds really morbid. But you know, what? Of course, he says it all started at twenty years old on stage at the NFL draft. When my dream came true. And now here I am about to turn thirty and a few months with a decision. I feel is the biggest of my life. So far, I will be retiring from the game of football today. And he goes on to to thank Bob Kraft and Bill Belichick. Are you confident that rob gronkowski retired completely or do you think he'll pull a Brett farve or maybe he'll pull a Jason Witten? Either way. Do you think he will return? Every time.
