"I guarantee you. He hates that we are calling him a legend well. He fancies himself a normal man. He doesn't wanna convinced he doesn't wanna be mick jagger. But do you hate there. Were calling you a legend vince you could call me a lot worse. I back back and i have been called a lot worse over the years but how you guys doing good thank you for being on with us. We appreciate it again. The new album oak is available. Oh now you're still the guy who will perform in the bar down the street on a monday night right. That's exactly right you know. I've stayed a musician fairly true. Uh what i've always wanted to be just musician and i never really cared what role i played in the band just as long as i get to hang out get the free pizza and beer back in the day well when you say always though there was a time that you were thinking about being a golfer instead was they're not or did you have to make a choice between being a following gulf for following following music well. It was a really easy choice. How much better guitar player than i was potter so <hes> it was pretty pretty active on what i was supposed to do. So how did how did it work. Can you take us through the roots of how it is that you became what you became sort of. Why it is that you gravitated toward this as an interest well. I just said had played since i was a little kid. I don't even remember when i started playing. I have pictures of me as a probably two year old sleeping on the couch with my arm around guitar so i know i've had one in my hands. My whole life and my father played a little bit. I just always always drawn to it. You know i was for me me as a kid. You know i grew up in the sixties and it was sports and it was music and that was about it. Was there a time that you had a lot of doubt about it as a career career no no. I didn't have doubts because i didn't have. I wasn't really hung up on expectations of what i was thinking. I might accomplish. I just i enjoy doing it just went from one situation to the next one ban to the next and one move to the next and and i felt like with all those decisions asians i made i was getting a little bit better and i wanted to hung up on the results being my definition of what i was accomplishing so was there much struggle or was it just success after success well. That was my first place i lived. I lived in an attic of an old house for fifteen bucks a month so yeah there was some serious struggle. We'll tell us more about that. I wanna hear fifteen bucks. A month is the rent <hes> who who lives in the house and how terrible the attic. Oh the adequate hot it was in louisville kentucky house. Nineteen year old kid just moved away from home and this guy took musicians and let him rent rooms and there weren't any rooms left. Is there anywhere i could stay in your house. He goes well. Let you have this kind of closet. In the attic. For fifteen bucks a month. I said bill soapbox talk to head of my dad and i made it through so no no shower bathroom or you were sharing it with <hes> with the family or what we we share it with a bunch of dwelled musician musician like swayze roadhouse vince gill with us vince gill with us on e._s._p._n. I think he's too hot for anybody to touch really can't really be hired by anyone though candy because he still does all that settlement money so all of that would go straight out of his pocket so technically it doesn't benefit him to be hired well <hes> he has <hes> you the goldman say at every turn that he has a creative way of being able to men. He ended up in jail because he was trying to sell that memorabilia. My guess is he get back. Get go back. Get back the memorabilia. Yes try and get it back so that he could sell his own memorabilia. My guess he's not declaring all of that as we know o._j. Simpson and take some liberties with legalities but there's no creative way when you're working for public media company to hide the fact that you're getting paid is there. You're still think jacob come up and i. I don't know barsha will pay him under the table. He's not getting money even though every single one of his videos appears to be from a golf course in a rough rough fantasy football draft. That's what this latest video was. She was like people were like my podcast this week. I can tell when i get good feedback and that makes me feel good. 'cause i mean something on their resonated with them and i don't don't always get that. There is amy doing acuna with bobo hong kong. We we gotta get along for as much as he's a guest on these by cow adam bobo hong kong like listen to ask a question about sleep routines. Here's him talking about wearing these blue tinted glasses our our within about an hour and a half ago into sleep. I put on a pair of blue light tinted glasses that prep me for bed also blocked blue light blue lights been shown to decrease melatonin production by twenty three percent and are most common thing we do at night because there's not much else to do other than stared our phones and and those things only decrease aaltonen so i gave me a pair of glasses to is like what are these. I have no idea i know i need to be better at wearing on. 'cause there's something to it. We'll do one more. Here's bobo honk answering why you don't actually equality sleep after a night of drinking as well because that's your body temperature rises throughout the entire night because your liver is processing alcohol that sleep you're getting is pretty. It's bad okay good. Quality auty sleep quality so what does his job. He's unnecess- jackson s. t. now but he's a career. He's an anesthesiologist easy. All adjusts nurse okay. That's why he's really good at giving needles. He gave me a needle s yeah so he used to work at hospitals all the time and he kind of left that world but the anesthesia anesthesia new breed that stuff you know innoc- theologist <hes> poke you really yeah. They're the ones that put you under yeah. They're they're the ones that you count to like three in the new. Don't remember the rest either buying gas. Oh yeah that's right. I remember rolling in when i bust my spleen as a kid too and they were like all right now from one hundred trade and i was scared to death i was going into surgery and they rushed me into surgery so it was all frantic and i remember going ninety nine. Oh and that's it out because of that so check out four things with amy round a wonderful podcast and then people like health stuff is fascinating to me like that when you do on your thanks mike finish big little lies season number two. What do you think's gonna move review a t._v. Show review. I thought it was great. It's a little slow very slow the beginning. I felt feel that way too yeah that was good but i've been in trip to go back to it. Wow i was all in. I know but you didn't like the boys and i don't feel like you have a good shot at his wife loved. The boys loved the the boys. We're still watching it on amazon. You hated it before. You're making fun of it before. We even started talking about it. Though okay good admit you made fun of before you even took a dip. I just didn't think i would be into it so i dipped twice with my husband twice. Yeah i feel like you're anti in your heart so you're anti anti in your heart right made up of thing. Hey raymond what happened with eddie yesterday. What was the big drama. Why did he start cursing. Everybody out yes so. Maybe it said home. Maybe he brings it to work with him but the show is over. We're hours after the show here jacking around with some stuff and and he needed a computer and we do have limited computers that can log into the certain websites we have to upload are sore losers podcast so it makes sense but eddie got kicked off one computer because he didn't know the log in so then he comes and gets on my computer. It's you're locked out now. You've logged in wrong so it was your fault well. He just doesn't know the password log in so he's always gonna be locked out and he <laughter> comes on my computer but amy had to do her for things podcast that we just talked about in on my computer. You can't type and run adobe. Which is the program that records towards it so i said amy takes precedent had the scheduled. She's got a phone call right. Now i go so amy's doing the phone. Call you gotta find another computer and he goes. I gotta go find another computer rate at that moment hillary and our girl from new york elizabeth fazio goes. I can actually help you upload it and he goes no. They're not going to help me. Nobody's going to help me f it and then left the room you hit him with the eddie snap said people were you serious serious but it's deeper than that. It wasn't the computers or you taking the spot. Do you want to know what the real problems i don't do. I i mean it could start. Something is her. What's what happened. I just feel like at the end of the day when we're doing all the by i bunch stuff and then we do the sore losers podcast. I'm still stuck loading the podcast and i'm like well. I am i the one doing this like every day. There's someone who could do it. Are you looking lunchbox. I mean i'm just i mean okay. If you wanna get real no if you want to look at me so i just feel like this is already taken again like fifteen minutes on my time. I'm like why am i doing this like why and i'm just like f it. I'm out. You guys loaded. Okay now you you. Are you handed the stick over the lunch box. Yes so only he's gonna talk now and you're not getting him. Correct okay go ahead who puts a sore losers together every single day who does every single bit of prep work for the show. Who oh you do okay. Thank you so sorry that i would you know if you upload it. You do the one thing for the sore loser. Show instead of me doing everything sorry. If that's a problem then i'll do it all so when you timing can talk. I thought he broke too so so yeah so i mean i don't at that point. I'm just saying like by the end of the day. I'm kind of like i'm i'm done man. We did twenty videos like we did the whole show we did the the podcast and now i'm like out of everyone like i still gotta do all this so i was just over it. That's it nice absolutely yeah the state given the information mation. We've just been told though eddie do feel like the amount of time it takes you to. The podcast is equivalent to the amount of time lunchboxes prepping everyday show. <hes> question are you. Do you have the opportunity to prep the show. Not i mean i could to the night before and you don't i don't i don't i mean i. I do come up with some stories like if there's a story i want to talk to launch boss. I do want to talk about this and that's it other than that. Lunchbox puts four stories that we talk about and that's it takes it uploaded. Show i mean it takes about fifteen minutes. Once you watch time listen to this. I know i mean good thing. This is on the radio. That's the thing i don't really say f. It unless i'm really over and you also sometimes like eddie snaps lunchbox rages. Amy cries is that's how all of you guys. Yes and you shut down like i've is. What do you mean i rage. You turned into anger. Now i mean it's just heavy areas. This naps lunchbox raw incredible hulk and amy cries. It's just crazy to me that he thinks that i should do all the work like that's what's crazy to to me like it. It blows my mind that he has such a problem with uploading it when i do everything else for the podcast like i i it blows my mind raimondo. You're the a person over here. You're part of this show yet at the initial and we all tips glasses to a good podcast at the beginning of it. All i said three week we do five the prep side had i realized from the geico lunch is gonna take control. If i was gonna take control of it was my show prep all i wanted but that doesn't matter. He controls the topics prep. All you want us okay so it's like even if you did the work and we even have prep story. It's tough to get in because his four are locked. Solid no wrong wrong you ray. You have to listen you. Guys can take this up. The dow pointy schmidt stories. I would love you guys to submit stories and ideas and topics and games anything. Is this supposed to be equally bill. It is because it's all equally okay. Listen and handle your business. Get out of here dad. What's your advice to handle their own but there are three way split show the need to handle title their own business and if they can't make it work and they break up. We're not breaking up the they'll make it work. I don't care that's what the whole snap thing snap and then i'm over it. You need to know your responsibilities and do them. That's what i would say. Make sure you and if you guys don't think you're being heard in the show and has is getting the show ready to make that hurt because you are one thirty goals. Yeah i agree so he likes to come back. Lunch wants to come back a lot. He'd be like raise busy. You you know like emily. We're all busy razor like really really busy but i mean he's an equal to okay well. I i've never said anything. I what are you talking about. I give credit right it. I i get annoyed when ray can't do it or what are you know sometimes but ray doesn't snap and say why do i have to upload it. Why do i have to do this time though as a one time thank you. It's not like a normal listen. I'm so over this conversation. Thanks guys hand. You never had a better promo for sore losers podcasts and right here. You must have had a tough day to yesterday. It was just a long day yeah long day the end of it. "I'm breaking bad you worked with the show creator vince gill again show creator and producer what was your working relationship like on that show kind of how did you guys pitch and how is he working with you it's my favorite professional collaboration i've never met anyone like vince gilligan um you know when i was a kid i was a huge fan of stanley kubrick my dream would have been to work within the kubrick in some way and i feel like with vince gilligan iconic got as close as i can get in a vince is one of those people that could probably do everybody's job on a tv show but he just chooses really i think hardworking talented people and he allows everyone to try ideas out that may not work um he's very open to bean counter intuitive were to presenting ideas that may not seem like they make sense but how some truth to them so i think because he empowers everybody on his team to do their best work everyone does i don't think it's an accident the breaking bad is as good as it is the way usually works is we have what's called the music spotting session where we will look at an episode and we will together figure out what role music should be in there and we really start from that ground up so it's not a question of our music she go here we don't use temp music in breaking bad or better call saul so we don't have the editor's choosing music ahead time score or songs to kind of established the tone of it we we leave it as a a blank canvas only have that music spotting session were really talking about storytelling we're talking about character and we're talking about how music can contribute or can't and i think that one of the things that's unique in that show arm and some that we i think learned together was that we didn't need to have music everywhere it was very helpful to be very.
