No children were involved. No children were harmed in the actual making of the arrest, but he was notifying them about through encrypted apps or other stuff, notifying the targets. Hey, this is a setup. Don't show up. You know what? This coming Tuesday, next week, I'm going to the board meeting for the Orlando Police Foundation, which is not only Orlando PD, but it's also Osceola County, Orange County and Seminole County. So the sheriffs will be there and they just invited me to speak at their fall gala this year, the big fundraiser. So I'm going to have to ask him about that. You know what? Police in Pasadena, Texas are on the lookout. A 12 -year -old girl told KHOU -TV that she was shopping at a drugstore last week when she felt a wad of something sizzling in her ponytail. It turned out to be glue. So they have a sticky, you know, have a sticky investigation going on. The sticky bandits have attacked. Not only that, she had to cut off some of her hair. Managers say another customer had glued sprayed onto her earlier at the same drugstore and they're investigating a similar incident at a nearby grocery store. Why the hell would you go around spraying glue in people's hair? You're the sticky bandit. That means, remember the wet bandits from Home Alone? These guys are the sticky bandits. Oh, that's just so nasty to even be called that. Well, unlike that lady who thought Gorilla Glue was like a way to keep her hair. Remember that one? She put Gorilla Glue. It will keep your hair. It will, but folks, oh my God. But this was funny, Steve. I got these out of the Bristol Herald Courier out of Bristol, Tennessee. I thought, let me go to kind of a smaller area, you know, get some stuff. So that was one story, Steve. Here's another story. This comes out of Iowa City, Iowa. So, you know, people rob banks for the strangest things, right? A 19 year old North Liberty man used cash stolen at a bank robbery to play for a bond. He had on an outstanding warrant. The only thing that will make it better is if it had the explosive dye. Oh my God, he gave it to the police department. He was charged. Police charged Charles Curry with first degree bank robbery after the robbery of the American Bank and Trust. Curry cased the joint out by talking with the teller and leaving a second man armed with a handgun, then robbed the bank. Police say Curry used bank money to pay a bond for an outstanding theft charge at the Johnson County Jail, then went shopping at a Walmart and Gordon's department store. All I can say is, Curry, you're an idiot. He was taken to jail. There's a, there's an understatement. But hey, I got, I got to end up with this one. You ever had, remember all these things where people go hold my beer? Oh, yeah. Yep. This one comes from Bergetstown, Pennsylvania, population 1 ,425. Salute. The population makes a difference because we're going to get into the structural integrity of the holding cell. That Bonner Timothy was placed in. He was, he was arrested, taken to this holding cell, had his handcuffs removed. They shut the door, went off. That's when he knocked the cell door off its hinges and ran away. Now, what did he do? He stopped at a house, borrowed shoes, and then he went to a bar where he told a customer that, yeah, I just broke out of jail. Can I have a beer? The guy hold the beer, but before he could drink it, he goes, oh, hold my beer. Here's the police. The police came in and arrested him. Dang. How did he knock the door off the hinges? I'm telling you, some of these old places, it's like, it's more like having a fence, you know, you know, fences keep, you know, make good neighbors, you know, blocks keep honest people on us. But, you know, it's just, it was more the, you know, just like a Captain Jack Sparrow in Paris in the Caribbean. It's all about leverage. That's the day you almost caught Captain Jack Sparrow. Yeah, but he used leverage to pry that door off its hinges. Oh, my God. Okay. That's, there's a good, hey, hold my beer. I'm going to jail. Again. Again. Well, hey, speaking of fun stuff, I don't, I'm trying to figure out a good segue into this. This one, I get the intro because this guy I know, this guy actually has something in common with one of our other guests. Yes. Sherry Foster. We don't want to make any insinuate, any insinuate, almost insinuations like that. Anyway, but let's get back to the case in chief. So, but, you know, many of you may not know who Ryan Steck is. His initial book, his debut book was called Fields of Fire, a Matthew Redd thriller. So Matthew Redd is a Marine Raider. Now you hear a lot about Navy Seals, Delta Rangers, but nobody's ever had a book with a Marine Raider in it, you know? What do you call him, Marsoc? Marsoc, yeah, Marine Special Operations Command, I believe, Marsoc, yeah. And so he's got, so he had a, not only did he have a debut book, he's been helping people. Finally, all these guys are saying, write your own damn book, dude. So he did. So he got a contract for two books and a novella, which we'll talk about the novella. But his new book is, as we drop this episode, as you're listening to this today, his new book, Lethal Range comes out. And if I was just reading, just the quick thing from Lethal Range, let me just read you the intro. This is what Lethal Range is. The president's son has just arrived at court in Delaware where he's expected to plead not guilty to felony gun charges after an earlier plea deal collapsed. Correspondent Katherine Harridge has our top story from Wilmington. Hunter Biden is accused of making a false and fictitious statement in 2018 about his drug use on a federal gun form into a firearms dealer. The third can alleges he did knowingly possess a firearm while on drugs. If he's found guilty he up could face to 25 years in prison. Jury selection is just getting underway in New York in Sam Bankman Fried's fraud and conspiracy trial. The FTX founder is accused of cheating investors and out of billions of dollars. Michael Lewis wrote a book about the fallen crypto king. He tells CBS's 60 minutes. I had one venture capitalist tell me that several venture capitalists thought that Sam was the world's first trillionaire. They're looking for the next Google. They're looking for the next Apple. They thought FTX had that kind of possibility. A lawmaker in Washington got the shock of his life last night. CBS's Luke Lukert has the story. It happened here in DC's Navy Yard neighborhood, less than a mile away from the capital itself. At around 930 police say Democratic congressman Henry Cuellar of Texas was hijacked by three armed men when he was parking. Cuellar was not hurt and his car has been recovered, but no arrests have been made. The Michigan Supreme Court has turned down an appeal by the parents of high school shooter Ethan Crumbly, clearing the way for his mother and father to stand trial. WWJ's Beth Fisher. The judges cited text messages that Ethan sent his parents saying he was experiencing paranoia and hallucinations. One judge noted that they still bought him a gun. Ethan Crumbly pleaded guilty to terrorism and murder in deaths the of four classmates. Justin from New Jersey, an appeals court there has thrown out a $223 million verdict against Johnson & Johnson in the trial over claims by four plaintiffs. They developed cancer from exposure to the company's baby powder containing talc. The Superior Court finding a lower court judge was wrong to allow some scientific testimony from experts. The game of what would you do if is heating up after no one won last night's more than $1 billion powerball jackpot. These players in Philly lined up probably purchase a villa on the Isle of Capri in Italy. It'd be a miracle. "A Texas born princess was evicted from her villa in Rome. Princess Rita and red von campney, ludovisi, maiden named Carpenter, has been involved in a bitter inheritance dispute. She and her dogs abandoned the casino del arora hours after police arrived to enforce a court mandated eviction order. I love Italy and I'm so sorry to have such a brutal ending. To what has been a labor of love for 20 years. The princess's husband died in 2018 and his children from earlier marriages fought for control of the villa. Ludovisi says an article in the civil procedure says his stepmother can not rent. Because she's American, she can not do whatever he wants. This is a country. We have our police. We have our judges, and you need to respect our country. And our laws, if you stay here, it's not clear who will now undertake the work of the villa, which needs at least $12 million in renovations. Secrets of America's Ruling Class Exposed
"Angelo codo villa wrote an amazing book on the ruling class. In 2010, he summarized it in an essay. He said, quote, today's ruling class. From Boston to San Diego, was formed by an educational system that exposed them to the same ideas and gave them remarkably uniform guidance as well as tastes and habits. These amount to a social canon of judgments about good and evil, complete with a secular sacred history sins. For example, actions against minorities and the environment and saints, using the right words and avoiding the wrong ones when referring to such matters. Speaking with the in language, serves as a badge of identity. Regardless of what business or profession they are in, they wrote up included government channels and government money because as government has grown, its boundary with the rest of American life has become indistinct. "Laurie dirty foot is hanging up her slew foot and then big clown shoes because she is no longer the mayor of Chicago. Now it politics do not matter in this case. Meaning that I don't care what your political persuasion is. When your city is riddled with crime, people are fleeing your city because of the mismanagement and policies that have been put into place at the leadership of their, then you gotta just take it. Take the L and she ended up getting beat, she finished third place, there was two individuals, I don't think it's close enough to do a runoff or I think it's Paul villas. I don't know if it's part of valis or virus virus, it could be valid so virus, I don't know. You know, the ales sometimes yeah, I think that's how you say it anyway. Y'all get what I'm saying. Paul. Ended up winning a 172,000 votes, a guy named Brandon Johnson won, I would not want, but he was second place at a 103,000 votes and then Laurie dirty foot clown shoes ended up getting 86,000 votes. She got 17% of the vote. Respectively, Paul got 33% of the vote.

Mourners pay final respects to Pele at viewing
"Mourners began paying their respects to soccer legend Pelé at a stadium in his hometown of Santos in Brazil. Fireworks popped as a hearse carrying soccer great Pelé drove towards the villa vero stadium where mourners could come to say their final goodbyes. Pelé died a few days earlier after a battle with cancer. He was 82 years old, carried into the stadium by his son among others, peles coffin was placed on the field where he scored some of the best goals of his career. Santos

Russian Pundits Demand Alaska and California as 'Reparations'
"I just got to say, everything feels like we're on the brink of destruction. Russia now calling, as I said, for reparations, these pundits over it. Their state media somehow think that the answer is to give Russia Alaska and California and that's a result of the west economic sanctions. You know what I'm going to tell you. This means that the sanctions are working. You know, there are actually hurting. This guy in particular Kremlin host is all upset because he says he's losing his villas on Lake como. He's actually not losing them per se. In fact, I don't think he's been individually sanctioned. I could be wrong on that. But he's not actually losing them. One just knows that they're effectively if he's been sanctioned, freezing those assets, right? I don't know as he's been individually sanctioned.
