They should have said something that in another time would have been a clue that awa and dry day. We're sort of you know lining up would have been the the announcement of the omega andrade match the the aaa championship. But but sort of use that as a reason to think they weren't gonna work together right like you know that that that awa would have wanted that to be a secret if there was going to be a big debut whatever it ended up working there in their way regardless and in and it was a huge surprise. And everybody's immediately where they were. They were obviously going to be. Which is just. Andre is. Just a perfect fit. How do you look at dude. And and not see. Obviously everyone sees stars in him like he's he's been in big places and as usually shined but he's not worried about when he was released. I looked at him. And i'm like you know. The first thing. I always i've i've found myself saying on twitter every time these these releases happening. Wwe is hey guys not everyone can go to aew. They have enough people. they are very top heavy. Like there's a lot of the emphasis on the fantasy when you were doing fantasy booking and he's incredibly gifted guy with a great look in his in ring he can do everything but in terms of like andrade and miro and obviously can put alastair blackened this boat to like we've said over and over again like a a the anybody could have booked any of those three guys into the resume main event and the wwe seemed like so many in so many times they were like actively working against the most obvious best path for all of them right. Miro's a good example. All that stuff he was. Oh even setting aside the comedy aspects giving them the benefit of the doubt. You've got whatever it was just so much it was just. It was just so lousy. You know what i mean and and and that's why when you go to. Aew it's not even so much like owi. He's going to regret this they're gonna they're gonna be. It's gonna be big. It's like no. They're gonna regret this because these guys are finally going to get the opportunity to do the obvious thing you know. Yeah that's that's the thing that bothered me man like the funny thing is narrow and andrade were two people. I got to work with a lot When i was at wwe especially especially miro and he was a guy. That i'll i'll serve folks that when you're when you were doing. When i was doing creative i was like supremely honor that they even trusted me to like work with them and like rousseff at the time was at the top of that list so once once. It's it sucks on one hand because it's like you know we know they could be doing so much more and you wanna do so much more and when you're when you're writing for many tried to do the best you can with the time you're giving you wanna make sure that dude looks as great as you possibly can because as a fan. I you see that like this guy is ridiculously talented. Could be the could end. Any show could be at the top of any car and could be the main. He'll on any wrestling promotion on the planet. And it sucks sometimes where it doesn't work out the way you expect it to work out. Andrade was different where everything with them was so evident so evident as far as like entering ability. He had great size. Great a great gimmick you know he had a great heater zelina and she was like kind of off too at the same time like the way they both kinda hit each other at the same time. It was just like this is this is this. Isn't this is perfect. Who who would. Who would who in their right mind. Would what a break this up or messed this up and a lot of times. It goes into things just really not being in your hands and maybe timing doesn't work out the way it is or.

"Way i did about. Jungle boy in christian cage coming out against private party at the top of our too. I mean it was. It was an ominous sign with jungle. Boy comes out and he was looking around like am. I invisible like do you see. I'm here like it. Didn't seem like a real enthusiast crowd response. He didn't seem like like connected with the crowd. It was it was disconcerting to me to watch somebody who was supposed to from going into a shot against canyon. It's just he didn't seem there. I don't know if he was thrown off by lack spots or if the crowd was reacting to him not being into the moment and also christian was kind of giving him a little pep talk at the end of the match because things got botched a little bit on on a move to it just felt off. So you combine that with now. Private parts new look wearing street clothes designer high end but three close for their match. I don't know if that's a good fit for them either. It's trying too hard to differentiate them and make them. You know part of the matt. Hardy brand so your thoughts on this start with you joel. Yeah i mean i. I wasn't really a big fan of the way that they went about private party. Getting it being fooled into parents. Up with matt hardy. I think that that made them look really stupid but not that there with them. I'm i guess. I'm okay with it a little bit Is the street clothes. Because i don't like that you know in wrestlers and because they're trying to play heels. I think it works for them. They're trying to do something different that way but The crowd did just come off a high moment with the inner circle. Doing that. big. Promos chris jericho ending it So i did watch a couple of times to see if i could see what you were saying about. It weighed and and yeah he did look a little bit off. The crowd wasn't As far into as much as you would think so but overall his match. I think that this work because it was really about boy and and trying to get him over and really like it was very symbolic like. Here's christian cage. Guy who kind of came in as a big deal are or who tony kahn. Thought was a big deal You know he. He's kind of gone often. These different directions with team. Tasr that fizzled out. With a with ricky starks injury But it was nice to kinda see him you know. Take a step to the side and really the announcers and everybody was putting over jungle boy and they kept talking about that as long as a really big deal. When he faces kenny omega for the championship and obviously. I don't think that this is the right time at all for jungle boy to win the title but there sure making you feel like this is a huge big step for him and and i think that this masjid a good job positioning him as as an alpha and a t you know. It's not the veteran christian. Who's carrying them. It's this guy jungle boy who's up and coming in and so i. I think it worked from that perspective. But at the end of the match to you had matt hardy coming back out and tacking christian and it's like man that is what was just talking about two thousand five out now. You know stuff like that. And you have vickie guerrero at the top of the hour at the beginning of the show and mark henry at the beginning of the show in. It's like man. There's too much of just this mid to thousands. Wwe stuff But you know like. I said that was the emphasis it was on jungle boy and so i think worked from that stance when brought up christian seeming to console j b after the match to and. Maybe i'm just reading too much into it. Because i was certainly might be confirmation bias because but he missed a There was a miscue on a styles clash. Type move that. Jv gave cassidy off the ropes and cassie landed hard on his head and he looked like he was like fine able to continue the match but he might have been really beating himself up over that too. Because i understand that you know your jobs take care your opponents. And i don't know he might have been might not have been as fault to get i. I didn't go frame by frame over something. Something slipped or whatever but it was a botched move. That could have shaken up to everything. Feels a little off your right though. Joel denouncing really was pushing hard you know. This is a big win for him. when they weren't debating royale versus royal. They were talking about john. Tyler your thoughts on this. This is another weird segment in a weird show for me With with the luck would work if they were a winning dominant team but when they're losing all the time it just looks lame them going out in street clothes in my opinion so you know if they were a big time team. The young bucks have very different. You know they're even more exaggerated. I would say with leather pants that have slacks but it works as their winning. So i think that's the difference there And yeah they've been defined down big time since their initial when i came on but with the The match yourself yeah. I mean the crowd. I think was the the main thing i was focusing on the entire time. Because they accept the inner circle. Promo the cody match And i guess the bucks match to those three across pretty hot but everything else. They were just sitting on their hands the entire time use. It was just an odd Dichotomy the throughout the night. So i didn't think that you love that. One crowd makes all the difference in the world. But i was surprised by that Just as i was within with android as Lack of crowd response it. We'll see on both those and Yeah i mean. Hardy in christian is you know we don't that is what you want to avoid when you bring all these l these veteran. Ww guys. i think us avoid like the plague. No if they would've told story here where christian is kind of mentor jungle boy even after if he loses the candy and then it gets a thing where christian gets upset and turns on him turns he'll and has a match a series with jungle. Boy i think that'd be awesome but you know yeah nothing trying to facebook on this but there's lots of good stories to tell their and then it was. That's what i'm thinking in my head. And then you see matt hardy hit him and i'm like oh okay. Well never mind. Put that away in the memory banks. I think they still might do that though. I mean i think in part pushing the jungle boy kenny match to i guess three weeks now late june on the saturday primetime show instead of late night. Friday show It gives them more time to do more with with christian and mad as sort of a up ridge which could tell who knows what kind of story to tell..

"Alright we are here to talk awa dynamite another late night. Friday edition it Had you know the big news headline of andreotti showing up. We'll talk about that at the top here. And then i thought the show kind of tapered off in terms of quality and relevance. And we'll get into that. And i'm going to get your view i'm joined by joel. Donell and tyler stage who are frequent co hosts on the dynamite po shows when you do the live call in format for perhaps obvious reasons were not doing that late at night on fridays Especially with Do in the smackdown poll shows and it just hasn't logistically worked out but we didn't want to cover the show and so we've got joel in tyler. Here joel welcome. Thanks for having me on weight in tyler. Welcome due to below always blizzard. So you can check out. Tyler's coverage of dynamite live show airs on wednesday or now. Fridays and saturdays and joel does the dynamite hits and misses column. So we've got people who are on the eight w beat joining here for a special roundtable post show and i want to start with the andrade introduction like just about everything on the show I have some level of gripe In this case. I wasn't a fan of vickie. Guerrero doing these screeching. Excuse me it which to me. Is mid card at best lower mid card comedy. Introduce somebody who. Based on his talla his acclaim the announcers framing is a big signing who they foresee being a main event at least the tier guy. I wanna see vicki. Grow from the derivative cartoonish. Excuse me bit. That feels more nostalgia than something current. So that's my opening comment Joel your thoughts on vicki's role and then andrade and how he came across and just the value of the signing. How do you feel about it. Yeah i mean it was. it was an interesting debut. You know to say the least that it was Four mark henry was his segment and then got kind of taken over by vicki And then by extension andrade came out. But i mean the first thing that comes to mind to is you know andrade. He carries himself like such a star when he comes to the ring. I mean he has. He has the charisma to get him to that next level. But this pairing with vickie guerrero just seems like such a just an odd pairing between those two. I mean even we saw vickie guerrero later in the night. I'll where she's already the manager of neither rose and so neither roses getting heat up heated up again for something with brit baker and so then half also with andrew seems like such a here thing in just not the direction that i feel like. You'd want to go with him because he's talking about wanting to be like the the face of hispanic in the faces in the face of aew. And i just feel like vicky grows. Gimmick is just not conducive to that whatsoever I think can be really talented in a lot of other ways but Like you clean out to wait. Just the excuse. Me gimmick is just not something that i would want with android. I feel like something happening like a more professional presentation of what he had and wwe with. Tia trinidad if they were able to get her to come in there and do like an aws of that. I think that would be really spectacular. Deceive but Besides vicki i think that andrade he has a lot to overcome with the way that he was booked in wwe. I don't think that his reaction was the strongest when he came out there. But i feel like he's gonna win over the fans pretty quickly. I mean he had some great matches in that x t Like i said before. He's got a great presence. Agree charisma about him. That i think he can break through it to another level in eighty. W yeah. I think the vicki pairing is well. He needs somebody to talk for them. And that's the andrade has confidence and bravado and in a the angel as conan wants described. The word charisma to me He's got the angel but he starts talking in trying to an english he loses some of it. Because you can tell he's he's thinking really hard about how to say it and getting it right and so i think they're thinking well let's put him on someone who can talk vickie guerrero when we went on to be already. He's going to be are hispanic getting grayer. But you know. Eddie could talk english. And just he's different. He was a different guy. there's some overlap. Some not and so it feels a little forced and then yeah it was jarring. Seeing vicki out there for was kind of a slapsticky segment yet Not who's a librarian guy. not leva bates appear avalon. He yeah peter avalon's out there hamming it up like it's the being. The elite high school improv comedy sketch slapstick in the background. Just undercutting for me get into that later that the tone that baker should be having which is something towards that but not that far and it was tone deaf and then you have vicky standing out there kind of participating in this clown show in the background for the brits segment doing burger comedy and i thought that it it diminished. What they did with andrade that she's out there no than other rose saying you know she's making these facial expressions in the background which was to build up the angle and all. That's fine but to me. Andrade needs more gravitas. So i didn't like that. I tyler your thoughts on on the segment as you watched it and what what jolan i had to say so far this was a very odd segment to me and you guys ran down a lot of both of those reasons. You know a why it was. You know just starting with the mark. Henry part of this and then transitioning vicky and i thought it was a bit odd but you know if you were to pull me freeze time and pulled me. What i thought was going to happen. Next someone the capacity of coming out in premiering would have been one of the last things that were thought of the way the the The segment was set up and So that was that was poor i think. Aws is pretty good at altering things maybe not immediately but casually over time You know someone like christian comes out to me that it wasn't going very well now the kind of slow building him in another direction. Not that has been perfect. But they've they've obviously known that what he was doing was not working. So i think there's a couple of weeks where this pairing is not working the way they thought it would originally. I could see them. Transitioning him off her. You could always use it as a stepping stone to turn and face almost immediately if you know that she's always good for that as a manager and And then the.

I definitely want to hear what color of that segment. I definitely a mixed feelings about it. I thought that that karma did a nice job with the promo. She was one of the i. I think she was very comfortable on the microphone and seemed very sincere and likable. It was a great human interest story but it was kind of a jarring change from what we had seen the last six weeks. Roughly of her on television and to me. It was sort of like. Wwe going on the air and have saying you know all that stuff we were doing. That was all fake we just scripted it and something unusual happening in a real life and so now we're gonna completely change what we just told you. She was all about the last six weeks and have her talk about how she's pregnant to make her seem like this real person i. I've made the argument multiple times. I think just because something real happens that that's necessarily the best storyline for a scripted. Show rosza scripted show. I can create their own reality if pregnancy storyline was the best thing for her if she was going to miss a year of action whether she's really pregnant or not it pretends she's pregnant or she's pregnant talk about it but if it's not the best storyline for character and she's going to miss a year. Don't talk about it. I don't think there's much of a benefit at all in this world to bringing up something real completely contradicts what you plan for her and the intent with her so i don't know what are your thoughts coming out of that That segments night. yeah. I feel a little bit deprived someone who was really enjoying what they were doing with her. And now knowing that the characters completely shifted. I mean obviously i understand why and and you know wise liar. Tell me why. Well i mean it it because they decided that. Hey we can work in a reality story here and we can focus on the fact that this woman is going to be a mother. We've never done that before. And that kind of thing. I i'm not saying i like the idea. I thought she did a hell of a job with the promo that was much. Better gonna expect it. I just i mean. I it just i really enjoyed awesome kong and and i really enjoyed. Wwe was doing what karma. And i don't like the dramatic shift from it That's the type of character that easily could have just disappeared as quickly as she came in and then out of nowhere year from now returned and started doing the same thing and it probably would have added to the mystique. I think so too like to me. If she's gonna miss about a year. Then i think ever come out on tv. She can't do anything really physical and that but she could come out. Look like she's about to attack a bunch of divas and then somehow could be stopped once they just swarmed security comes out and they stopper and the raji. I'm michael steps up to the podium and says people may not think so but we do have rules here w. e. and we are going to enforce them. You're not under contract. We don't know where you're coming from. We don't know who let's you into the building. We're doing an internal investigation to find out. Who's writing you. Come backstage But you are not allowed here anymore and because of you agree to action against All these divas you've been suspended for one year. And then you have and i think she should have had this all along. If you're gonna be crazy f- she should have a spokesperson. Somebody who eleven months. It could be michael cole. It could be vickie. Guerrero could be some other manager in eleven months. Have somebody come on tv. And announce thirty days. Until i take over the diva division. The woman who was banned from this company for one year wrongfully has spent a year building up her anger building up her her plans to destroy the entire company. And all the divas build it up for for thirty days and then bring her in with the exact same character. But you get across the credibility that there's actually consequences to someone's actions which is barging into the ring and beating people up when you're not part of the official roster. I think that was a lost opportunity but wwe and its writers or too worried about proven that they can read. Hollywood storylines are too worried about trying to interject reality. Even when reality screws up a good story that they were telling and now this mystical figure but this maniacal laughter is a regular regular everyday woman who had dreams and jim ross said she was too fat. And now we're feeling sorry for and i just. I just think there should be a line between what people talk about on twitter. What joy styles talks about on you know on his twitter or wwe dot com. Maybe they break down the barrier a little bit but i think from opening the closing credits on a wrestling show stick to that world you create you know. I don't i don't wanna watch game of thrones and and all of a sudden and have one of the characters whose like this villain talk about how he just found out that That his dad has cancer free and it makes them feel so good. You know i. I mean let's like yes. It's a nice story but it doesn't have anything to do with the story. You're telling your tv show. And i i just think. Vince mcmahon and kevin dunn and all the writers. Have this weird mentality now. That any chance we have to inject a reality to explain something..
