"Different goals. One is to make people and want us to make people money. And what i think the thing the takeaway from me about vapor is the thing that seems to resonate with people is when someone feels bad is a thing you can do. That makes you feel like you're doing something that's what it should say on the package. Feel like you're doing. There is so much of medicine that is that. It's hard though. Because i am more from the opinion that the art of good medicine is doing as much nothing as you can Don't tamper too much but Can i just say I i understand that impulse. And i certainly associate the smell of vicks vapor rub to this day with being cared for and soothed and loved and coddled. You know because that's those were the times when it was part of my life and so that's nice and like sent is a very powerful memory like creator and stimulator and all that so i mean i think that those sort of things maybe not medicinally are important but culturally socially have some relevance and some importance that you can put on them You always wish they could. I mean maybe it's more appropriate to not classify a drug so to speak the only thing i would say though is when you name the ingredients you named several different oils like eucalyptus and things and I think we've mentioned this on the show before inhaling some oils can be triggering for things like asthma attacks So specifically i would be very careful and this would be true. Not just for victory for anything that you're gonna like vaporize and inhale whether it be in a vaporizer machine or like you said like boiling something to inhale the vapors That's always something to be careful with if you have a history of any sort of breathing problems asthma or copd or even in rare cases. I have read about like epilepsy and stuff. So i i would. Just be careful with like inhaling strong oils from any source those assed. that's funny. You said that there was actually an article from science daily from two thousand nine. Fm researching this that said that It was a study. I wake forest. That suggested The vicks vapor rub might create respiratory distress in infants in small children because stimulated mucus production and airway inflammation which can have affects on the breathing of infant or toddler. Yeah there's there is a we talked about this in essential oils. There is a reason why like just smelling. Something might not necessarily be dangerous but actually taking the next step of burning it in some way. You know what i mean. Not burning it but vaporizing turning into vapor right you know that that step and then inhaling it in larger volumes can be dangerous to some people and so i would approach that with great caution. I don't think if you like sniff. Some vicks vapor rub. That's necessarily dangerous. But inhaling large quantities of it or vaporizing it literally justice here in the city is first of all just like following the label. Instructions visits says label..

"Because they wanted a bigger cut of the of the prophets basically. They're distributing enoch. Creating them right okay And then also. The government became because it was worried about. It's it's politically complicated. But basically the government put in an order in the mid sixties continued for decades. That said that they were able to control. The price of drugs are worried about Chinese interfering with with a drug prices is is complicated that parts company. But here's the important thing. They were struggling right. The pharmacists were work hunting bags and also the government was controlling The prices of drugs to explain the pharmacist single bit retailers and chemists who sell drugs many. I'm reading retailers who sell drugs manufactured by pharmacists dictate availability of drugs in the market and consequently their price so basically the people making the drugs where separate from people selling the drugs and they went sunday morning. Here's the important thing vicks was there. Prophets were going way down and between these two factors. They were not making money vapor rub which is extremely competent product. They just couldn't couldn't make headway okay. So at that point. Vic's of india applied to the government because of a small exception in their role by price controls to encourage Small practitioners and people who weren't into allopathic treatments ir veda treatments. Were not part of the drug price control. So in india vicks filed for vapor. Rub to be considered an ira detriment. Vedic treatment they went through the different ir vedic texts and found parallels. I'm sure yeah. I can see where that would. They are vedic treatments which we've talked about before many times on the show Basically very old old old ancient like indian treatments that have been passed down and are still practiced its own medical systems medical assistance then allopathic madison that we practice but vicks the government said ov- able room. It's an iron gate at treatment. Look in the bugs. Did that tex absolutely. It worked so now it they vix to this day may is registered as an ira van product in in india. Because they were able to like look at it. There's no licenses they don't have to pay taxes on it. The price control isn't a problem anymore. and according to this vicks and they also sell it everywhere because y- drug anymore so the promises couldn't control the price anywhere And the outlets carrying vicks triple cred article. Two seven hundred and fifty thousand different ones and it was massive there. India was established as the leading producer. Vicks vapor rub among more than one hundred and thirty countries and it is It is now a hugely popular ironic treatment. That's wild. there's something very cynical about that. I can't say i love. But i i mean that's brands. Those said that's brand tracing did. That's not that's not medicine. That's not science that's brands. That's brands for you folks and That is my that is my story with vix. A proud brand That has done some things that we'll talk date on. Brands ought not all not all brands. Not all i mean that. That's always a problem with the intersection of Capitalism and medicine i mean..

"Vox oh so. In germany. they're called a wick and it just looks exactly the same all exactly the same. It's just it's not vicks. It's wicks okay. is it as what they're marketing marketed under in throughout germany. Did you find anywhere where they put it on their feet I've heard that before. I've had people tell me that. They put be relieved like cold symptoms. And i found that very fascinating because that was not the tradition. That i would say locally. I'm more familiar with his. Rub it on the chest or like i did. Put it on a handkerchief and inhale it. That's what i hear most frequently It is not. It would obviously not help with the helping the colds interest on the feet. Some people use it For again. None of these treatments are tested. But in the same with ben. Gay would work as you know a topical analgesic in there and then Apparently there was some indication that it might help of fungus. So that was roy. People were applying into the feet. I've heard that you know what's so interesting. All this stuff gets muddled. And i have had people tell me that. During times of illness they will go to get in bed put vicks vapor on their feet and then put on some warm socks over it to hold it in and that that's how help i heard that and i. You know it's always like well that's probably not going to help but it's not harmful. I suppose i have to tell you my favorite. This is my favorite thing about vix. And i've told you some. I know captivating things about this brand already. But this is my favorite thing. It's big in india okay and it had a sort of slow uptaken india. It was brought over there in The the the mid sixties and The the salesman who brought it over would go to markets and like individually per person The pitch to explain to them how worked And it caught on there really big. I in fact one of the In a book called india unbound the author. That book describes going to someone's house where a woman was boiling vicks in hot water and then breathing the vapors. Yes and that is where the company got the idea. Tur- vaporizer browsers instead. We used to have one of exactly so it was like It was that's how big it was there but in the mid eighties. It started to struggle for two reasons. One is pharmacists. It's it's the system is more complicated there then it but basically the pharmacists were boycotting vicks..

They changed the combination of different time. Formula it's this sleepytime before in fact Well why is it called. Michael you ask. No one knows well not all on. Quill maybe it makes you think of tranquil or tranquility or maybe it makes you think of tranquilizer. Maybe like i want something to knock me out. Because i'm so tired of coughing is of i mean and that's how we think of nyquil right like it's the thing that you take when you just need to be asleep and done with this cold for a while the everett the thing about nyquil makes it like sort of helps to make a splash. We had cough syrup. Yes we had cold pills. Cold medication nike was the first one that said like. Let's do it all in this syrup right and it's not just for cost..

"Yourself so as nearest mainly like Looks like knows draw nose. Jobs looks like similar. What i was able to find similar ingredients to was in vapor. Rub just sort of like intense. I believe like menthol and camphor but you would take drops of it and just blast it right in there you know there. I'm trying to find the ingredients in it from what i can find here. Menthol and camphor worthy those ingredients. Yes okay probably wouldn't kill you. I don't know that's that's true for a lot of these when it comes to. I mean i don't wanna knock on vic's too hard because when it comes to some of these like over the counter cold sinus whatever remedies even today a lot of them. It's like well they probably won't kill you. We're going to get into more of that. And i love your judgment if you could reserve it just a little bit. I finished my story about brands so so veteran all the steps to win threatens but if you still get a cold even after you jam vitro Us vicks vapor rub bedtime. It's double action sharks to work once. Keeps on working hours and invites restful sleep. The first thing won't prevent a cold and this will not care a cold but carry on then at the bottom. It says full details of vick's plan in your package of vicks if the miserable symptoms of a cold or not really promptly or if more serious trouble seems to threaten. Call your family doctor right away. A reasonable plan. I feel like you know worry about that plan. I it is. It is reasonable to say if you have like your traditional and i'm going to be very cautious. How i couch this because we are living in. Cova time so everything. None of this applies currently. Everything's uncharted but generally in the past. If somebody said. I woke up this morning and i had a runny nose and a little bit of a cough and some congestion and it sounded like a cold. I wouldn't advise them to rush immediately to their doctor or call their doctor right away right. A lot of times for mild cold like symptoms. You don't need to rush anywhere. yeah but now. I don't know that if you use these over the counter things. I don't know that it's necessary. I think you could or you couldn't and it wouldn't really matter that much. But i do think like the idea that you don't need to for what seems like a mild cold under pre pandemic can't conditions run to the doctor. I think that that sound advice. Yes but the problem is if vicks also has to do little covering of their proverbial butts lately speaking and go go to your doctor who we're talking about. Sorry just kidding just by the favor up by the vapor rub and then go to your go go to your doctor and the vapor rub their back then i bet you could've i'm gonna tell you more fascinating facts about but i i need you to take a break with me and follow me to.

But using that as like the The idea behind it and you know who maybe it was a little column little columbine. Obviously the fixed website doesn't mention ben gay as like the the spiritual inspiration for this product. But right that is that is when accounting but they would never. You would never do that though with a lot of these products. Because they're being sold not on the strength of their Like the quality of the product necessarily as much as the recognition and connotation. So you wouldn't want to build on another competitor. He called his product vicks croup and pneumonia salve but you know today obviously as as vapor mainly marketed towards creepy babies It had menthol which was a and kind of new drug that was coming in japan and it was incorporated into a bomb with some other ingredients like camphor and things like that chair and Since it was only it was popular in part because it was used akhtar externally So it was Stomach upset wasn't creating problems for people so they that those apparently one of the the selling points of it is that it wasn't bothering your tummy. These other treatments with. Yeah well that makes a lot of sense if you consider that the remedies so to speak of the day as we talked about on the show the way you would believe that they did anything is by making sure they did something and so a lot of them. Would you know make you feel really sick or if you diarrhea or whatever and then you like. It's working so in eighteen ninety eight. He sold the drugstore and he started a wholesale drug company at which eventually part To found vicks family remedies company. He he wanted to just focus on that initially they struggled to sell outside the greensboro area Eventually the business changed hands to lunceford son who decided to just concentrate on vicks croup and pneumonia south But he renamed the son who Theoretically the product was initially metaphor. Renamed it to vapor. Rub it and focus on that. That's what he decided to focus the business on. How did he like when. I think of like vape. Vaporizer vapor vapor the vapors that the rub creates got vapor. Got rub. It's okay So that when the name was his idea he came up with the The the product was still sort of struggling to get like the sort of like major success story that he wanted it to be until in one year it sales more than tripled to two point nine million dollars in sales. Can you guess what year that was. What what year are we in. If i told you a year we now. I mean what time period are we in. I mean like when did he first one was this he took over. This would have been like. He took the last year. Touching was nineteen o five. He took over ninety. Five are sorry shortly after that nineteen eighteen nineteen nineteen exactly during the The the influenza pandemic exactly it was a huge boon to that product and it is really what set on fire. it was ubiquitous. Yeah and they build on the success of vapor rub. It's a shame because it probably did nothing for influenza. Well yeah but i mean why. Let that get in the way of a good brand stories..

So he's working in greensboro. He's working on different like home remedies. And what have you And one of the products that he comes up with is well vapor. Rub the not called that. At this time. He says a lot of different things And he looking for an umbrella to put it under right and he stumbles upon vicks so his last name. Richardson would not fit well. On the label of the products. Right but vicks would. Vix is the last name of his brother-in-law who their family physician according to some accounts helped some startup money but also like was naming it. Maybe just like if you know about vix this physician this is the remedies. There's also also very popular product exceeds at the time. And he was sort of building on that idea of a mainly like his name when villain label and i think it kind of continued to get to him that it wasn't you know under his name but vicks was short is punchy and pretty soon there were twenty one different vicks family remedies as they were called so he comes up with There's there's two different versions of the vapor rub story okay. That's a para influenza next to next to jason different virus viral illness. It's usually self limited but sometimes you need to medications or some respiratory support to get through. Kids don't get it today so this is So they say that that had crew and Lunceford richardson combined unique. Ingredients into a salve that when he did by the body would release soothing vapors and then it says on the website. The boy soon recovered. You're probably was recovered anyway. Boy now there is a different version of this from mcgill university. Refresh named joe schwarz. Who claims that the product can be traced to jews. Been gay a french pharmacist. Who created ben gay exactly but his last name b. e. n. g. u. e. If you're wondering why it's called begay because his last name was jill's been gag name regretted it. I won't the naming names of the guys on defense but you know they got some guys that certified and qualified on the defensive side of the ball. But when i look at the rest of the. Nfc east you look at the football chain right here you know. They just a quarterback away defensive match. Your football giants quarterback away match. They was this law games last year. And then the philadelphia eagles. I won't ballot my dussehra responsibility. Saddam to stay loyal. you know. The the quarterback position is in question. I do feel like jalen hurts. Can you step up to the plate when the job and start in week one. What what's the rest of the team going do so for that reason alone. The dallas cowboys. i think. Stand alone at the top of the nfc one because dacca's qualified. He's certified and two because dan queens deep inside of the ball calling the shots so the defense is gonna play a lot faster and it's probably the chain it. I'm most excited to watch this season. You mention dan quinn. One of the same day in queens. I notice not dan quayle. That team had a twenty eight three lee over team not.

"Mira. Welcome to fresh air. It's such a pleasure to have you on our show so before you started working together you you both had a bunch of jobs before becoming like tv and audio people so you had like legal illegal semi-legal kind of jobs. Tell us about some of the most interesting. Well ones that you've had these. You wanna start. Oh yeah. I've had a million jobs. But i think the most interesting jobs. I was working at the new york public library. Because i worked there. I worked every job. I've had pretty much worked my way through the ranks and so i started as a computer page at the library and i worked my way all the way up to almost a programmer for the near public library and as a matter of years so that just looking back at that That was as well. Because i was like okay. Maybe this could be like my job for the rest of my life because you know thinking back in the day like people have a job for twenty years company but it didn't work out that way and you know that was one of the better jobs i've had terrible does at one job. I had to collect dead rats at auto body shop job like a professional rat catcher. Yeah if you wanna say professional if you mean like a fifteen year old vicks vapor robot has that's because the person came the week before and they put down a bait but no one stopped to think okay the they're going to eat the bait and die and now there's going to be this terrible smell inside the building and key to the story. New york was in the middle of a heat wave so it was about one hundred degrees. Every day is working and only steel. I had was used my nose. Smell the dead rat which was usually under under a car or like behind. Something used the shoveled scruple. The there you put it into a compound bucket and you dump the compound bucket into the barrel of used oil from Oil changes dagga picked up at the end of the week. I lasted two weeks at that job.

What Inflation Fears? S&P Notches Record Close Despite Soaring Prices

"Consumer prices eclipsing expectations last month and rising at the fastest pace since two thousand eight pretty scary right while the market didn't seem to think so stocks heading record today with the and p. five hundred closing at a new all-time high and over in the bond market the ten year yield falling for a third day in a row now at its lowest level since march so red hot inflation red hot market. We already pricin inflation guy. Where are we here if you get not play this game with you all the time. I made a lot of games right but this is one of my favorite games is if you had told me this of twenty four hours ago and said where's market going to be. I would have said the s&p down thirty five forty handles ten year yield is going to be point seven if not higher vicks hire one hundred percent wrong again here. We are the victims of lowest. We've seen in quite some time. I'm sure pete and tim can speak to that. And the t. l. Which obviously you know the bond security talking about levels. We haven't seen it on the upside since the end of february. It's shocking to me because these numbers were absolutely hot but it doesn't matter what i think is what the market thinks that it backs up everything dan nathan saying for the last month.

New Record Highs as Powell Reassures the Market

"Does the market finally. Believe jay powell. Now if you watch us yesterday we asked why no one seems to believe the fed chief when he says rate hikes aren't coming anytime soon but today he couldn't have been clearer powell saying the fed isn't even thinking about thinking about hiking rates until twenty twenty four at the earliest and when they do finally move the market will have ample warning his comments. Reigniting the record rally with the dow. Snp closing at all time high. So does this mean really say it all all right just to reiterate. This is obviously the deepfake. Does it meaning ring. True guy a love. The mimi's shifts are my favorite. And i i guess the answer going back to last night it depends on what market you're talking about. The stock market absolutely believes him. And you know i. I'm somewhat hesitant to say it. But that's something you know. Tim and karen and steven been saying for a long time. Don't fight these guys in the stock market continues on. Its merry way the flip side of that coin. Is you know. Ten year yields are an indication. The bond market doesn't believe him because here we are at north of one point six percent and the ten year so one market does. The other market doesn't right now the. Us equity market is winning and for the purposes of that. Show our show tonight. That's probably good enough at the same time when race. Get high enough tim. We've seen it in the past when they touch six six seven which they did this morning when they go towards one seven The markets have a little bit of a tantrum so even though the bond market may not believe jay powell eventually the stock market's take the lead to the bond market. So the two are back intertwined. So what what do you think the answer at this. Point is jay powell making abundantly clear and clear to the markets market participants. That there is no intention on raising rates until not even forecasted economic metrics come true but they actually have to see it in the present very backward looking very subjective. We've been. Rick rolled twice this week on fast money. So there's a lot going on. And i think you have a case here where also the concept of the the absolute level of of bond yields on the ten year. What point are are equities in trouble. And i think that's maybe a bigger debate on some level because we just don't know i think the conversation that The fed may have lost control of the long end of the curve. Is the right one to have I think from from fed funds obviously out to five or six years. It's pretty clear that Today's action tells you that the fed is able to job. Here's something else about today. People aren't really talking about. They're out there saying they're going to continue to buy at least eighty billion treasuries and forty billion mortgage backs. At least so again the size of the bond tapering Is something that's also really tough to understand especially when the fed really upgraded the economy Tells you that four and a half percent unemployment rate by the end of twenty twenty one From not terribly far off the record lows that we you know of all time that we went into the pandemic with his still not good. Enough so let. The fed was very clear today. I'm most troubled by vicks. That's got a one thousand nine handle honestly fell eight percent and the volatility. This low tells me equities actually should be a little bit weary in the next couple of days. We're pre pandemic levels when it comes to the vix karen on what did you make it today and does it. Change your view on the markets. Well i'm always long. But i just have this image of of j. palace saying you know what i've taken the bull market hostage. I'm not gonna hurt the bull market in the bond market yelling electable market. Go and then. Powell says if anybody makes a sudden move the market dies and i think that's sort of a standoff that he's trying to reach with the bond market right we saw briefly would happen last month in a lot of weird things the mark you got a lot of sudden movements and the stock market really didn't like that at all but you know tiven guy said he couldn't have been more clear about how dovish he is now. I don't know if the data will force him to do something earlier he did. Say we're not gonna do it until the data makes us do it but if we start to see data change well then we'll have to think all right. He could be made to do it sooner. i don't really know i don't. It wasn't so shocking to me that the general rhetoric. I don't think it was so shocking to anyone but good for banks good for. I guess it was no giants surprise. More dovish than i thought but certainly we all thought that he was dovish going in. I had actually. I want to hear what he has to say about the supplemental leverage ratio. that's important for banks but he punted on that and rice and a couple of days. What he has to say about that is he. Did you say yeah twice. They've made it very clear he wasn't gonna say anything they're gonna say something in a couple of weeks and he's not gonna say anything about it anytime

Stitch Fix: Pain and Possibility

"Shares of stitch vicks are falling thirty percent this morning. Second quarter revenue was lower than expected. Customers are spending less on stitch fixes platform companies also dealing with shipping delays. If you're looking for a silver lining the loss in the second quarter was smaller than expected but as silver linings go. That's not a great one. No it's not a great one. Although i think if you can rewind a little bit too Just just before. The previous earnings announcement. The stock is still higher today. Even though it's been cut in half than it was At the end of november It it it ran ahead of itself on Some guidance that it was going to do twenty percent or better growth this year. It's cut back on that so It really took off even though if you look at the quarter as a whole the previous quarter of the one just released today. A really wasn't all that different in terms of the actual growth. that was being booked. You know the stock is telling them more dramatic story. I would say than the business. The part of the story today which is probably the most concerning is this Delays on being able to book revenues. Because of the problems that they are having with The logistics of getting things out and getting things returned back three months. There was a short squeeze that helped propel shares of stitch fix on its previous earnings report and it is one of those things looking at the sock today. I do wonder if if if some of those bears are are maybe You know that it closed out their position or are coming back to it. It's again there. There are a number of things that they're dealing with that you know if that was the only thing they were dealing with. It wouldn't be such a dire picture it to me. It's the combination of all these things and it's not getting the headline but the you know the the people who are spending less than you and i were. Neither one of us is a stitch. Fix customer you and i were You would send me a link this morning looking at the platform where you can essentially choose you to start looking at clothing through your lifestyle. It's all kind of casual comfortable wear. I'm assuming that a year ago. Pre pandemic the different lifestyles. Were much more different. Maybe there was one that was more focused on business. "Here from rap sheet on your guy Trevor Laurence. He will have labor, um, surgery on his left shoulder on Tuesday. It's going to be a 5 to 6 months recovery. I mean, you never want to hear labor, um and shoulder and surgery, but Don't non throwing shoulder can't be that huge. Now you do wonder he takes a big hit gets lands on that shoulder. Look, too. I had a lot of injury concerns coming out, and he didn't look great this year. So, yeah, different injury of it, and Trevor Laurence is like 65 to 20. I still think guys that run that he had against Ohio State in the playoff. Not this past year with the beer before, is like up there with the Tommy Frazier run against Florida. Mike Vick Falcons run against the Vikings. The Steve Young run, uh in the playoffs. I think that was against the Vikings. It's just one of the all time great runs travel. I'm just such a Fanboy of Trevor Laurence.

Can Tampa Bay Win A Second Straight Super Bowl

"Well in just his first season with the team brady has already brought a title to tampa buccaneers controlled. Much of last night's thirty one to nine super bowl win and brady is poised to keep winning saying after the game quote. We're coming back. You know that we do know it. And i personally love it shared. And how do you feel about is brady. Started his second dynasty in tampa skip out of his tour to detail. And if you made me say yes to say no. There's a reason why no team had repeated and sixteen years because it's hard to do and you see. Injuries are big part of this. So because we saw what happened to chiefs offensive line. They lose basically three starters and they're not the same team that they took to the super bowl the previous year. They're not even the same super bowl that would that finish the afc championship game. So injuries player key role in And plus a lot of things have to go well the injuries during the course of the season. I don't believe the pandemic. I think we're getting more and more vaccines arm and President biden was talking about last night. Say i expect the pike house for super bowl fifty six. Hopefully that's the case. Where is so fi here. Oh you're be out. I thought i'd be right over luma and plus get if you think about it. They got shack bags. A free agent. Labonte david i believe. They bite price themselves out of contracts tampa although they might be willing to take less money to come back to people. It's with jack man. Considering that he was an undrafted free agent and leave any money on the table of. Aren't they david that might be something dominant. So leonard fournette and tonio brown gronk. I believe a couple of those guys you can get back on the cheap but skipped the only have thirty guys on the contract for next year. The next is a that is forty two in the nfl their fifty three man roster only thirty the contract So who comes. Who goes is so hard to repeat because the turnover is so great now what we know right now for the most part. All the coaches are coming back. Tob old didn't get a job by relent. We didn't get a job and so for what we can see right. Now get the coaching staff. We'll be back in full. There was some speculation. That bruce arians if they won this one would would see the the head coaching to talk balls and maybe either being the background or walk into the sunset. I think this was such a headache experience for him at his age. He'd say i gotta take another shot. Hey could you remember. Meal did that and he later regretted he came. Back out of retirement ended up coaching kansas city. Yeah because he felt he made a decision out of emotion. That was the wrong decision. So maybe a fist back a couple of months but it's hard to repeat. There's a reason why there have only been in an full of teams now in the last thirty years. That's ever done it because it's so hard to cobb was dated. We did it and the patriots did it.

Markets Sell Off Ahead of an Earnings Extravaganza

"We start tonight with a major market so off the s. and p. five hundred closing down two and a half percent of that is its biggest loss in three months. The loss is accelerating into the close with every sector finishing the day. Lower the drop coming as we saw more outside moves and names like game stop. Amc and express so what went on today guy. What's your theory well. There are a lot of theories obviously game. Stop is what everybody and what i say everybody literally everybody turn on radio stations. To doesn't matter what subject game stop is coming up. And i'm not suggesting that's the cause but i think some of the root causes the fact that volatility was too damp. And when you see a day and listen markets down six hundred points or so seems like a big deal in in the broad scope of things. It's not but then you look at the vix going from twenty one and a half where thick it closed around last couple of days to thirty seven pretty much a straight line. I think that's telling you something. I think people are underestimating. Some of the headwinds here risk people are being complacent net manifested itself in the vicks. And when you see a move of that magnitude on one day again. Generally benign day given the context of what's happened that to me is the underlying theme. And that's what we should be concerned about. There are certainly a lot of reasons why investors might want to take some profits as we are still close to record highs karen but still do you take a look at what is going on. With the most heavily shorted stocks in the market and maybe think their margin calls going on that that people are right sizing their portfolio taking off risk and that is causing some ripple effect in terms of having to sell some of the winners in order to cover these shorts. I guess it makes perfect sense that that would be happening. I i mean you know. We heard about giant covers today in game. Stop the whole thing that we talked about it on our call midday and you know it just it as an investor who focuses on fundamentals which i know it makes me really old school but this kind of action makes me think all right. The game at the moment is really rigged is the right word. But it makes me want to Take off some positions. Just because i think this is a volatile market will have. We'll have a like. I said six hundred and change seems like a lot really wasn't there was nothing that powell said. That was really surprising at all. Just maybe risk premium coming in a little so multiple high flying multiple stocks. Come down maybe people taking some of those. I don't know this vic's jump is really concerning not that the vic's jump it's it's more as a sign of sort of uncertainty in the market and. I'm one of those feeling uncertain of always. I always have some protection on a day like today. I'm gonna lose a bunch of money. No doubt

Stock market turbulence could last until the election

"Now it's going to check on the markets. Joining us now is Abigail Doolittle. So when I looked at literally looked like people Buying from which everything have ago. Yeah, real risk on day here at least relative to stocks. Commodities a little bit less so, but we have big gains for both the Dow and the S and P 500 NASDAQ less so I'm not sure that has so much to do with the election last Friday, there were some saying that perhaps last Friday could turn out to be the pre election lo similar to 2016 when you're the two weeks into the election. Down weeks, and then you had a big rally in the election weekend out of the election. What's very clear, though, is we have lots of selling in the tech space that probably has to do with JPMorgan, saying that they're lightening up on their overweighting positioning to a neutral. They expect some of the more cyclical sectors to take hold, and that has nothing to do with the election. They think that will happen. No matter who wins the presidency. What they do say, though, is and this is not surprising that what investors really want relative to the election is certainty that they want to know who is going to win this election and that once that's in place that's going to be a real positive for the markets and one sign of that uncertainty. That you and Jeanie and Kevin were just talking about bonds. We actually have bonds rallying in a big way on the day after selling off last week. Never dull moment, David. Yeah, because it isn't But one thing you follow, I know is positioning. Is that telling us anything are people hedging? What's going with the vics? The vics is actually damn just slightly today, but the vics continues to suggest that yes, investors are heading into the election. The vics has been outpacing the VX N or the tech index, Vicks. Which is pretty interesting visit again suggest that relative to regular volatility as opposed to that mega cat volatility. Investors are starting to bring up the hedge in terms of anything can happen and something else that I've been watching for the last few months, the S and P 500 stuck in this huge range of congestion on there's one line of thinking that says That is in the three months ahead of the election. The stock market is up that supports the incumbent. If it is down that supports the contender, David right now it's on the wire, suggesting that the markets are far more uncertain about the outcome of this election. Then the Poles are exactly the Poles may not be reliable, so we'll find out soon enough. Thank you so much as it's Abigail do little reporting on the markets.

Boston - Patriots-Chiefs Week 4 Preview

"We are joined now by sports NFL analyst Michael Vick Michael What. Do you give camp in the Patriots against the chiefs this weekend Got A shot. So always a fifty, fifty chance to anything can happen in. The New England patriots could be the first thing that upset the city chiefs this season but a couple things are gonNA have to happen. The defense is going to have to come to play, and unfortunately for the past, there's only one Stefan. Gilmore. On a fail the other corner nefer right side opposite again was not step up tremendously and try to somehow someway lock down the trio receivers. The Kansas City chiefs has that. Pretty much ran right though on Baltimore Ravens last week in the Baltimore Ravens headed great secondary and I watched them go up and down the field with ease and. It was because of the speed that they possessed. Throughout combinations and the play call them angry they made that game so difficult. But in terms in their pages, ball control is going to be essential. Whether this cam running back back admitted, they're going to have to control the clock, keep the chiefs off the feel as much as they can and try to score as many points as they can. But I think the biggest Kansas game is just winning the game time possession a not length touch Rome's get out and be as dangerous the threat he's GonNa be because you can't stop Patrick you can only hope to contain them. Wall Street Week Ahead: After monster rally, investors cautious as U.S. recovery wobbles

"We start with that monster rally on Wall Street today the SNP up more than one and a half percent and the Dow jumping over four hundred points. As you can see there, the Nasdaq also up nearly two percent leading those markets, higher energy stocks, financials, and the small caps as well. Investors appearing hopeful a new deal for stimulus is coming down the Pike but markets are still down significantly for the month does today's action give you a reason to perhaps be more optimistic and for that perhaps I I will turn to you first. dominated. Welcome. It's always wonderful to have you on board got a bonus hour with you. So that's fantastic and you know I think the answer. Your question is yes but you can't say that in a vacuum something we talked about over the last couple of weeks was you probably see a short term market bottom on a day the market sells off and the volatility index sells off with it and you actually saw that. Over a few days, NOP can speak to this vicks topped out around thirty six, and as the market was selling off, the VIX was selling off down to the twenty five and a half level that gave you a pretty good indication that maybe we were going to bottom. I mentioned that because one of the things we said now for a while off that low that we made a week and a half or two. Weeks ago the obvious move at this point was probably a moved back to the prior all time high of thirty, three, ninety, three that we made back in February and Steve can speak to this because now does that make sense for that reason it also makes sense because it would be a text book, fifty percent correction of the recent, all time high and the low. We made a couple of weeks ago. So the. Answer is yes. But let's see what happens when we get there and when I say when because I do think we're GONNA rally another forty or so snp handles. All right. So Steve, let's bring you in because guy teed it up for you. There is this level is this a market right now the action you've seen that makes you feel as though you're comfortable being long comfortable putting new money to work right now. So I know everyone wants to have that gut instinct of being positive on the overall market and this market has shown you nothing. But positively, because that gap tom is closing from the corona bottom to when we finally actually restart the economy. But you talked about a couple of levels, fifty percents I'm sorry, the fifty day moving average I heard you talking about today on air thirty, three, fifty, three. So we closed right around that level that's why people are keying in on that level where did we bounce from the hundred day moving average which was thirty, two tech? So this is technically A great set up to play it for a bounce. But the problem is we still have what the problem was. We have an overbought market granted. We work that awful just a little bit. But what has been the most overbought the tech space the most bloated names, those six or ten names that we all focus on. Doesn't mean that. Have not. Rally doesn't mean that other sectors have doubt rally. But it's time to take a pause because the market and the economy or two totally different things. A lot of volatility going forward the biggest thing for me dumb month end quarter in this week. So I heard. I heard it was mentioned prior to us on closing bell I still think it's a big deal I. still think people were under weight energy. We had emanate today I still think people are underweight financials. We saw those rally today what sold off what rallied into month and I think that's what you have to keep an eye on. Let's see if it lasts a week or so Tim Seymour over the last week over the last five days of looking at our screens here it says that the big one of the bigger cloud computing. Is Up over three percent semiconductors that particular ETF the ticker SMH look at a lot is up over three percent right now for five trading days, we also saw financials and energy to Steve's point lead the rally today. So those are two different parts of the market both assuming some kind of leadership role does that then mean that there is this kind of all clear signal, the bad and the good are going up at the same time. Downgrade having you getting me to say you've got an all clear signal is something that's tough to do But I I hear where you are, and if you look at the triple cues and the Nasdaq one hundred, you've rallied almost six percent over three sessions. The semi's which they have multiple times over the last couple of years and certainly coming out of the worst dacoven to have have certainly been a leader and something to follow it. In fact, they've they've kind of lead the way. So both of these are now back over the fifty Todd Gordon will be your to talk some. Of the technicals and a bit, but you're talking about the broadening of the market and to the extent that maybe you're excited today about the move in retail and in small caps and along with that with the banks, and if you look at the European banks were up over three and a half percent. So these are the parts of the mark that I think people wanna see the good news for all investors. So back to at least where you've had an all clear and where I don't think anything has changed is the guys who talked about some oversold conditions I have to do that I. Think. The Nasdaq can contract can correct further down and I I mentioned kind of those late June early July levels but the Fed is still very much your I think the payroll numbers this weaker are going to give you some sense of where the labor market certainly is going to need a lot more fiscal health than just with monetary policy is but I think you've got a case where you've at least seen parts of the economy. Especially, the transports give you a lot of reason for confidence in terms of leadership and they lead you on the way down from two thousand, eighteen to. Twenty thousand nine hundred and transports have been outperforming the market for the last almost four months now. So many key bellwether esque type parts of the market that we're watching right now. So I'M GONNA turn now to Pete and Jerry, and I know that you're on the news line with us right now at CNBC let's talk a little bit about what you're seeing in terms of trading action there is there something that makes you feel as though this is a constructive environment or are we do for a little bit more consolidation perhaps even some more discount pricing in the coming weeks ahead of the election. Well I certainly could see the consolidation side of it. Tom. This. Also though in the derivatives world where I live I gotTA. Tell you something a lot of bullish activity over recent weeks and and it just continues to come come in now A. Lotta that short term today we are seeing a little bit longer term type offer. Options that we were seeing whether we're buying in major indices. So I'm not even just talking specific names or whatever. I'm just talking about indifferent indices across the board we're seeing some buying. So it felt like a bullish tone potentially, but not as much short-term as we had been seeing that makes it a little bit more interesting because it's very easy to sit there in the very short term in. This movement that we are seeing but to commit to buy those kind of premiums that you've got to to be able to go out to January and December that says a lot more about what the what, what they really are feeling those very large buyers out there in the marketplace. So volatility guy brought this up and I just have to address this real quick volatility was selling off all day. It was doing early then it started to sell off. We actually nearly closed on the absolute lows of the session, which was pretty interesting to see how that volatility index was coming down as market came down from being up five hundred down to four hundred yourself. A lot of different things going on right now. But certainly, there are sectors that I'm impressed with the do lead us a little bit. More so out where we have been recently light transports like material and a few other names I like seeing what we thought financial today. But that's one day. We haven't been able to see financial foot back to back to back days together for a very long period of time. So that nothing I think we got to watch very very closely. All

"Talk A lot about Colin. Kaepernick who of course has become far more than an athlete and more than any athlete of his generation has become super politicizing talk about how sports is a narrative of nationhood and definitely think that you could write eight the story of modern America on his last Assi What What do you? What do you? What are you? What are you thinking about? Colin Kaepernick. I think he's great. I think the truth almost didn't come to light. They. They suppress it for so long and so long and so long I think that it is. Emblematic of what's going on the country as a whole where you have this man and expressing is. Liberal belief. and. Becomes a lightly We tell ourselves we're in the twenty th century were everything is so diverse, and then you see what a lightning rod that becomes for. White. Anger. Someone expressing pride who is but also like. You can't kill black. That's radical athlete baboots how that's That's where we really are that. You can't say. Retaliates tally is wrong. Those are the hard enforces of racism, which I which I can chew colonialism in larger forces and patterns. How advanced how might and can the society be if you if it's if it's controversial as it was in that moment? Thankfully it's I think. As this moves forward. He's becoming raise established himself as one of a line of. Athletic spokespersons yet if you go back on tradition begins. Muhammad Ali's or the world and the Jim Brown's the world who's as like Oh as black versus one of the few people who is allowed any sort of visible Jackie Robinson in different. S. And that's end. And then he became corporate. Right. But the happiest people's right night. I talked about Jim Brown on the NFL who made the decision to leave NFL. After A manhood battle with art modell whose the owner Cleveland browns and direct line and one of the things on everything. We think we're saying there's historical precedent for it and the function and the horses ourselves. Insane. And so right. You look at that the and you look at what's happening feeling I'm not the first person. Say This I long chop wanted to contextualized story. And also like yeah. Camp is doing civil rights work. In the resistance that he faces shows you how much of this country is still against the most basic expression of civil rights what do you? What do you make of? The NFL along with the NBA? WNBA. Others. The institutions of sport have seemed to have come around to say you know we're going to embrace black lives matter. We're going to plastered all over the field or the court wear whatever you want. Neil. However, you want like you know we're fully supportive of the movement and yet gaps still doesn't have a job. So he still sacrificed his dream. Surely, it was his childhood dream that he achieved And then had that taken away chose to go after something bigger, and now that the the sports world, the NFL in particular has come around to his side of things. He is still left out which for so many of us for you to. ADDS a hypocritical sheen to all of it. I mean, I don't know I can't fully embrace what the NFL is doing until he is welcome back into the fold in a serious way. I mean, one of the. made the final cut I. Don't remember off the top of my head but wasn't Michael Vick can chilidog and still have A. Job in Colin Kaepernick, can't say. Shoot people. And not have a job. That's what I think. First of all the NFL. Lost me just I mean. There are a lot like their lot of sports. I. Love. I. Love Sports is you know and but there's always another sport and league baseball loss during steroids. Haven't been back. Haven't really looked back. I might watch catch on the corner of my eye, the barbershop every once in a while. The NFL. Because they are so far on what you say what you think the man like Avenue you know Muhammad, Ali's spent. Eighteen months in jail for Kosovo Vietnam War. I don't remember how much. Much of the baby actually did. Athletic careers. sports and they end when you're still a young individual with a lot of life ahead and as you read it as Jim Brown realize can't stop. By many miles at. And right the dream of NFL would it looks like it might be over I hope that it's eventually someone will give him a shot maybe but. And will air. We'll find the next stream. Nets like life purpose. That's always the challenge of being an athlete. It happened to him in a prematurely it's not fair but he's shown himself to be larger than that lead

Vic Martinez on what he learned as a leader at Disney

"Names Vic Martinez and you're listening to the hacking you leadership podcast guests series the most impactful leader mentor my life would have to be Mike Myers. A reported up to him in some way during my career Walt Disneyworld and he was always a shining example of what a true leader should be by just watching him and spending time with him. I learned that people should be taken care of instead of managed he taught me how to build effective teams and how to leverage people, skills and passions to get the best work out of them and best of all, he taught me how to own my mistakes and keep moving forward instead of dwelling on them. The first mistake meat is a leader of people might have been dermot first year as a Disney leader at. Disney. Most customers want to grow with the company and I assume that this personnel at down did as well long story short. I was trying to help them get out of their shell grow and apply to be a trainer. What I didn't do is get to know them better I or I. Would have learned that they didn't really want to be a trainer or teach people. They were perfectly happy as Kenny art is making caramel apples all day and anyone more responsibility in. Now focus on building relationships and really getting to know the person and more importantly their needs before I offer up any advice or offer help and career development. The difference between a good leader and a great leader simple. They care and they backup that care what action. I've been fortunate enough to be raised by amazing leaders I mean I was sixteen when I started with Disney our leaders were basically like my parents teaching me right and wrong every day. But my absolute favorite leaders were the ones who cared had empathy had natural emotional intelligence. One of my most favorite moments was when my dad came to visit me when I was an early cashier at Disney. He worked nights and weekends saw only got to see him a few hours a week and my leader remembered me sharing that with him months ago and confidence in he instead of telling me to go back to work, he said Hey Vick don't you go over data tour of the operation take thirty forty, five minutes. I thought I was going to get in trouble for for him being there, and and this leader decided to put me I in the operation second for about thirty, forty, five minutes. But that thirty forty five minutes was so impactful that I would work late or come in on my day off and and give him my best work. No matter what after that because of so indebted to. His kindness I don't have direct reports in my current role at NPR but I realize you don't need them to be a leader, a measure success as leader of people in developer talent by looking at attrition. If our client is leaving us then didn't see the value won't we offer, and that issue could be as simple as that were they think we're too expensive and when I hear that. I hear that they don't think we deserve to be paid that much for what they're cutting. So something's wrong. So work with many people to ensure that the client is taking care of sees the value of their purchase and continues to do business with us. Being in sales is really starts with me and it's up to me this at the right expectations and give my team the tools. They need to successfully onboard the client and when things go wrong on Yo on blame I just seek to understand entitles failures with a teachable moment and maybe add another bullet points at a checklist. Then I follow up to ensure it doesn't happen again and when it doesn't, I make sure to thank them I think this is a healthier way to work with others to accomplish the same goal.

You know was just a cool moment a moment I never thought I would have in sports. So I, mean, I thought the quarterback position was hard. Playing Golf is even worse so. Know but I love the town I love. The I. Faced when I go out there man and I just. I just have a good time doing man and links is my sanctuary. Mike in Thinking about. What some of the things that you've been able to take from the football world to apply to you game? I think that the concentration part of it. Just, knowing that in order to have around. You have to pay attention to everything that's going on around. You know one slip up these to a bogey slip up too much in Dublin. Then you've got the trip was on the car and your chances of shooting in the seventies go way out the window. So when I play the game, always aiming to shoot in the seventies always WanNa, limit my mistakes and especially when I'm going against competition I need people out there need somebody pushing me maybe I'll be here and they're just going and that's what I've always thrived on the competitive part of the game and the competition it's on on the other side. Mike last time I saw you in person I was visiting chiefs training camp. You know we go back to that in the Philadelphia Eagles, organization at the same time. "You know, so you know whoever can't stop with opposition is going is going to be in trouble, but you guys are GonNa be. You know putting in a position where they're gonNA have to earn their money. And these were natives watching college show. As. You can get your team to understand what you're. The primary focuses in the goal of the. Head. You know if you can get that accomplished than you can run against. High School, college pro. So. It's not gonNA stop. These coaches are gonNA continue continues their talent and rightfully so because you know they'll be doing this survey. They didn't and we'll probably be talking bad about him, so I just did. They make the game. To make the game, great weight is man made the game so much better. It's just a more enjoyable brand of football. It's fun to watch explosive. It's it's dynamic and we enjoy it. You know you're a member of a very exclusive club, and I'm not talking about a pro bowl, quarterback or somebody. That was you know runner up for the heisman trophy? I'm talking about left handed quarterbacks. There are not in any of you guys out there. We got a new one now on the club with to Tonga. Vilo, coming into the NFL, this guy upset is going to be. Tremendous, Sanford, the Miami Dolphins. You know at least have somebody. They say we can invest for the next. Five years. Even five years I'm not talking two years. Three years. Coach have somebody work with them. Take three years. Get up on these guys a tremendous town. As. Fascinating stuff might look you've been. You've been very generous with your time today. I appreciate that, but as scowls what we're always doing. We're always you always watching players you're you're grading skills, and then you're trying to rank players so as you go on my ask you to. Do. I. Appreciate that might. That means a lot man. We appreciate that, but now I'm GonNa put you on the spot, so you gotta rank three things here I've got three options for you. I need you to rank them from from top to bottom. We've got Michael Vick off the tee. We've got Michael Vick chipping and we've got Michael Vick putty so rank those top to bottom there. I don't Miss. I'm, not! You know. Not Boast about but over. Got Better student when I learned it. Get posted a whole. Thurs you don't. Break! Again a little closer I. Have exposed. Threes in? I tend to misdeeds. And you know when he was on. Plan. Knocking them around a little bit. He WanNa to give you that. Look three or four on. Annika. Played with you don't give. Close talking we'll get. Hey Man. You've already got your first golf trophy up on the mantle. You're off to your off to a good start their man. We're GONNA. Let you go, so you can work on putting Game Rowe. Precinct. Back. He loves his golf man and he's pretty darn good at you can imagine. He's probably GONNA swing. Of, being Komo left, and you know it's the probably a big long loafing swing the just. One of our favorite guests and we've got some interesting things to talk about in terms of what's going on the football world. Michael Vick joins the show and obviously with everything going on with the revolution at quarterback to talk about one of the pioneers as a physician turns the dual threat quarterback we're. GonNa. Pick his reign on a bunch of different things related to quarterbacking, including a little conversation with such on what to could bring to the Miami Dolphins Yeah. I think you guys are GonNa Enjoy this conversation. look somebody. I would say I. Don't know where you are, but if you're talking about just who through the prettiest ball. He throws a beautiful. Ball Mike Vick. It looks a little different coming out from the left side, but man. It is beautiful. I can't say how much I used to. Love watching Michael Vick play in fact I was working with the Carolina Panthers when he was playing for the Atlanta Falcons in When you're a scout, you're not supposed to fawn over other people's players, but. When I would have Sundays. He's the only guy that I told people paid money to go. See because the Michael Vick experience when he was young and in his prime, it was nothing like anything that I've seen in the national football league. You're talking about a guy who legitimately was a thousand yard runner. At quarterback, who had four three speed was the fastest guy the plan, but also had eight-plus arm talent. Unique individual unique player Carolina we just could not stop him he he broke our hearts time after time again so tremendous amount respect for Michael Vick and witty crosses eight Eliza player. Now we'll get to that conversation in just a minute. I think you guys will enjoy that one, but before we do that, but there's lots of breaking news coming out as we're recording this and. And by the time you listen to this, there's this list could be a lot longer. It could include quarterbacks who knows, but right now we are seeing I would say what about a dozen or so players have decided to take the option to opt out of the upcoming season for health reasons, either for their own personal safety. Maybe have a newborn. Or family member, but for whatever reason they've decided to opt out of the season now. There's some key players. Look at Eddie, Goldman one of a better defensive Lineman, Interior, defensive linemen, good player for the bears, Michael Pierce, who is kind of the Vikings replacement for what they lost up front along their defensive front, so you end up losing big time body. They tried to replace him with Michael Pierce. Now he's opted out. The Patriots. Have lost a whole host guys. They six Patriot players Patrick Chung Dante hightower. WHO's the big name? There? Marcus Cannon, who the starter at tackle Brandon bold run back. dammit Danny of Italian fullback, a lot of guys there for the Patriots but. I just want to get your thoughts on this. Obviously, we respect the guys decisions to protect themselves..

"Also, I agree with you for one thing. Virginia Tech in any sport is automatic boring. It can be football could be bad. I mean, especially junior take well since Michael Vick left except for that rare. Michael Vick thing, but Virginia Tech basketball might be the most boring programme, they couldn't play anyone to make it exciting. Sheeting? Would you like to rank fritzy's alarm so to just clear the take was which game Todd gonna find most interesting? Well, least interesting I guess is the hot take the Duke will be the least interesting, okay. Sure, I give it a five right in the middle. Okay. All right. Okay. Five alarmed fire. Their polling knowing ties track record. Aren't you? Almost sure the Virginia Tech do go. Double overtime. Aren't you almost sure of it now? But I respect him for having a heartache and that heartache is a contrarian where that's normally not taught is that a topic really begging for hotness. That's my question. That's at least lukewarm I was just going through the schedule. And I'm like, you know, everyone just jumps to Duke in Zion. And we're all caught up in the whole blue devils thing with all their great players. But these four games that there's an argument could be made that that's the least interesting of those four matchups to Rica. If you could only watch one game tonight, you're watching North Carolina Auburn. Yes. Okay. A warm take say now rephrasing it. It's a it's kind of about the freezing. Maybe that goes more to Andrew's point that the setup. Oh, what there's always a big wind up in delivery with Todd. Yes. Mclovin. Exactly. It the second time you went through it. It was hot for sure. The first time. I I don't know what he was talking about is Jim Jackson with us for sure is live from Los Angeles to time big ten player of the year at THEO Hieaux, stay now working for Westwood One. And of course, Fox Sports college basketball. Good morning, Jim. How are you? What's up? Good morning. I'm curious. I know that you weren't doing the game. But what happened in the Purdue game against Tennessee with the shudder and giving the shooter space were you aware of that rule. Well, yeah. Because you gotta give them a couple of ways. You gotta do you gotta give them space to land. Okay. When he comes down off of his jump shot. So you'll see a call sometimes where a guy might be underneath him shooter. And he comes down and there's contact and the foul is called. So you gotta give them space to land, you know, and a lot of it to then I mean that call was so tough because from our angle will we saw during the game on the, you know, the scoreboard and tell us Ron was that the defender. Brush by. But then Carson was laid kinda stuck out a little bit because a little bit of content. I thought it was a bad call the in the game that way. Yeah. But Rick Barnes said the foul. Well, I mean, according to the rule if he made contact when he brushed by that that's such a judgment call a lot of times from the official 'cause there's a bang bang play. And if they see any kind of contact, especially where shooter the way the rules are right now there's contact especially he's different when a guy is going straight up and down. But when you come across the body in Yanjing kind of trying to defend it in his contact caused a little bit that sometimes depending on where that official is standing who calls it. They can't see the little movement of the lower man by Edwards, and he sees contact autumn medically assumes that it's the defender who initiated so it's it's a tough way to lose a game. I mean, they still could've wanted overtime. But as you know, that momentum shifts so much because as the team that's ahead at the time, you feel you have a game in your hand..

"What's Kyle are going to run it pro day? If he runs at his pro day, what's she'll be host to he says, he runs the forty. I would say runs four three five. Is he faster or slower than Michael Vick would? Vick was in the four three three range wasn't wasn't. I remember. All right, by the way, some news coming in. I've just seeing this for the first time on Bleacher report. Devante smart is the player. Yes. At LSU that allegedly will Wade who's now been indefinitely suspended was trying to get improper benefits to devante smart will be held out of tonight's game against Vanderbilt because of this investigation. So that is just coming down as you would expect LSU's got again, they'll get the one seat in the SEC tournament. If they win at home tonight against an Owen seventeen Vanderbilt team that's their conference record eight thirty eastern SEC network is where that game is no will wait again suspended for that game. And who knows how much longer who knows if he will coach this program again. But there you go there's that. What else get any parting words goodbye?
