She joined us here is part of my conversation with Mollie Hemingway. I just want to quickly get your reaction on. The Andrew Cuomo stuff not on the nursing home scandal, which I think is the biggest issue but on The silence of, for example, Vice President Kamila Harris on the me to side of the Andrew Cuomo scandal and then some of the Democrats talking a lot about due process and the importance of investigations. And just the thought was sparked because you co wrote the book Justice on Trial about the Cavanaugh In broke Leo. And I mean, I'm glad that some people are rediscovering due process and you know, wanting to see evidence of claims, But I'm so old that I remember when that was not necessarily the case. For almost all of it. I completely agree with 2021 Andrew Cuomo, who says that due process is important that people are innocent until they're proven guilty. Accusations can be made, which is not the same thing is them being true? I agree with all of those things. I think he deserves due process not just with the six or seven women who have accused him of harassment or assault, but also the 25,000 dead people. He deserves to process in all of these scandals. What is frustrating is that he did not believe in that just a couple years ago when he was saying that he only a political skeptic could find a reason to disbelieve Brett Kavanaugh's accuser and what would be her possible motive to lie? And then yet today, he says, You know, people have a lot of reasons for saying stories. That's true. But it was also true back in 2018. And yet he was on its ignore completely opposite side of things, as were so many of his enablers as well, You know, not just in the Democratic Party but in the media as well. And by the way I Always believe that evidence is extremely important. When it comes to stuff. There was literally no evidence against Brett Kavanaugh. It was not treated that way at all by the Democrats in the press, But that was the question that was asked not just by Cuomo, but by others, you know is there you know, you'd have to be a political skeptic to doubt some of this stuff well, In the cake. Cuomo. These women, I believe all six of them are progressive Democrats there on his side politically, whereas the two main accusers with no evidence against Brett Kavanaugh were both on the opposite side of the political spectrum as Cavanaugh, so I mean, there's there's just no consistency here. You might remember that Christine body. Ford's attorney explicitly said that they were motivated by a desire to couldn't asterisk next to Brett Kavanaugh's name because of their support for abortion, and they perceived him to be opposed to that, so they actually gave their motive for you said it out loud or would record three on and Yeah, these, these women at least have evidence that they met him. Sometimes they have quite a bit of evidence that they met him, which, apart from her testimony, which was not corroborated by a single other person, including before people, she said, would be able to corroborate it. There's no evidence that Christine Bossy Ford and Brett Kavanaugh ever even met much lords. What she was Ford star witness. And I just say this is often is possible because so many people ignore it. Don't remember it. Never heard it. Ford's own star witness and close friend. Could not corroborate her story and has since said that she does not believe Ford story which is to me hit him. It's important details that that's important that yet it wasn't just that she couldn't remember but that she actually did the work of piecing together that summer and said she did not find it believable. But she also said that she was pressured to change her testimony in that there was witness tampering by associates of blood before it's all of these things are actually big reasons why the And it ended up confirming cabin on that They don't get told in these stories and a very different than these accusers, but he's still absolutely deserves due process..
