The Biden Docs: Who Benefits?
"Will benefit from such a double cross of Joe Biden? Who stands to benefit? Now the easy answer that cable television and some conservative media will say is vice president Harris. All right, let's acknowledge that. That's true. But you really think that vice president Harris is sophisticated enough, likeable enough to work with the deep state of government to cross Joe Biden, probably not. Who else stands to benefit? Well, potentially Donald Trump stands to benefit. So a theory out there again, this is just a theory that really upset Republicans and conservatives in the Department of Justice, they leaked this. Another theory is that the Patriots in the Department of Justice and the FBI that have just been abused and lied to, they knew this was out there and they leaked this as a way to try to say you're not going to go after Donald Trump while Joe Biden did the exact same thing. I'm not sure I buy that. I'll be honest, I don't find that to be necessarily conceivable, but it's a possibility. Another option is just that there is a fear. There is a fear that Joe Biden might not be able to win an election again in 2024. Win in phrase. That might not be able to be implemented. As president again. That Joe Biden has gone past his expiration date. Joe Biden is the mayonnaise in your refrigerator. You look at like, wow. That's spoiled. We got to get rid of it.

"All right, hey everybody. Great show today. One of the biggest problems we've got going on right now and it's the least reported problem that we have right now is the problem we're having on the border. Our southern border. Well, I guess it depends on if it's a problem depending on your perspective because on Dallas, not a it's not a problem to the Biden administration. In fact, the Biden administration, if you judge by vice president Harris, has no idea where the southern border is, much less wanting to fix it. As ranking member of the House judiciary committee and being on that committee for a long time, our primary focus in our committee was immigration law and I can tell you that what's going on on the border right now is a travesty. Returning to the Public Eye, Trump Will Head to US-Mexico Border
"Trump is set to visit the US Mexico border this week, just days after Vice President Kamala Harris made her own visit to Texas. Both trips come at a time when many Republicans are describing the situation at the border as a quote crisis with unauthorized crossings at their highest level in decades. NPR's Joel Rose covers immigration and joins us now. Hi, Joel. Hey, Sarah. What do we know about Trump's upcoming visit? Well. He's expected to visit the Rio Grande Valley in Texas on Wednesday, along with Texas Governor Greg Abbott and a group of congressional Republicans, and they're essentially trolling the Biden administration by highlighting the high number of border crossings this year. Here's some of what Trump said last night at a rally in Ohio Illegal aliens are Overrunning their borders. Nobody's ever seen anything like it. Our poor borders was so perfect. They were so good. The rhetoric from that rally should sound very familiar to anyone who's followed former President Trump and the way he often talks about immigrants as a threat. And a burden. He is still very much on that message. It does sound familiar. We mentioned vice President Harris was at the border to what did she have to say? Right? Harris visited El Paso on Friday. It was her first trip to the border since President Biden named her to lead the administration's effort to stem migration from Central America. She met with immigration officials in El Paso, also with immigrant advocates there. Here's some of what she had to say afterwards to reporters. The work that we have to do is the work of addressing the cause. The root causes. Otherwise, we'll continue to see the effect what is happening at the border. Harris has gotten some criticism for not coming to the border sooner. She said that this trip builds on her earlier visit to Central America, where she's trying to deal with those root causes.

Right and the governor down there is taking you know. Full speed ahead. You know making sure. The people of texas protected what you look at some of the things that are with the ranches and the dead bodies and the you know the children that they're finding and now that haridas go new generation cartel just absorb the cartel. Del golfo at the border. So we're gonna start seeing more and more violence more and more. You know interactions but showing let me go back to a really important point. We talk about the corruption in central america. I mean most people don't realize that the former congressman tony anandas. The brother of the honduran president is serving life in prison. Yes sean all those trips you made came about because you were open to new ideas. You were open to evidence into research and to the historical archaeology of talking to people in real time. I think it really doesn't matter if vice president harris goes to the border because she's already made her mind and her team. They've made up their minds as well about what they plan to do. She's put She's blaming all of what's happening at the border not on the rhetoric of the biden administration or their decision to reverse key parts of the Immigration policy of president trump's such as completing the border wall They've decided that what's going on is due to climate change to Food insecurity to the lack of Adaptability within the country's the lack of climate resilience All of these factors. "Oh my gosh hannity. Writing these text messages it's towns just like his monologues on a show and he apparently he really he really believes all I mean now you can take that one or two ways must be phony and they just say stuff. Because i don't know. I guess they think it will get them ratings ultimately to me that was a compliment. Because i'm the same person behind the scenes. Am except i curse a lot more. They probably didn't pick up that part they could've though anyway. What was your funny part. No that was it but you left up the park. Because i think it was mother jones or one of those guys and they they wrote the relic. Oh my god. We thought we were gonna get this juicy text exchange and instead it's just hannity regurgitating the same thing that we hear him say ninety after night and then he's like i can't believe he believes this shift and i just started laughing. I was like oh my god. I'm like this is hysterical. Because they really are the most you know what. I concluded that it must mean that what they say. They don't believe well. No they get the same thing privately. And i say publicly which means that. I'm sincere my beliefs. Then you would think they'd say well at least he's consistent. That's why we have flip-flop montages of the left. We have just so many of them because they're never consistent that is that is true to its get. I will tell you this. Because a lot of people say oh the republican party is is now fracturing because donald trump. I don't see that at all. Because the if i'm right in my analysis about the three waves of conservatism in our lifetime and that would be ronald reagan in nineteen eighty That would be newt. Gingrich in nineteen ninety-four bringing republicans back into power in the house of representatives. Remember the first time in forty years. They've been out of power in the house for forty long years and then i would argue the third wave is been donald trump and the agenda is always pretty much the same old though. If i'm going to be honest the biggest a well new kept all his promises and left us a balanced. But i mean they all did a lot. Reagan created twenty plus million new jobs longest period a peacetime economic growth in history to that point newt create new captives contract with america promises. He literally gave us the last balanced budgets. The washington ever had. I mean he was very effective as speaker for five years. The four years of trump. Though you know probably and again america knew it was electing a disruptor probably the most iconoclastic and and just just plow through to get everything done from building the wall to getting us energy independent to lowering taxes laminating bureaucracy constitutionalists on the bench free and fair trade. Peace through strength. Everybody was afraid of them around the world. They believe what he said. And they knew that he's capable of following through and phone right about my analysis. Those principles don't change..

"It's insane and then of course you know he's against eliminating the filibuster and so everybody's up apoplectic so you know. Democrats do what they always do. And now they're accusing. Joe manchin of preserving jim crow congresswoman. A cossio or cortez is out there. Suggesting mansion is participating in an effort to dismantle democracy. None of this is true. Social justice warrior. Jamal jamal hill calling mansion a power hungry white dude who is upholding white supremacy. You know maybe this explains the utter terror. If you dare go against the squad you know. That's why joe won't stand up against a squad. Nancy won't stand up against this squad. Chucky won't stand up against the squad and now the these attacks are getting fierce because their agendas being left behind because it is radical you know mansion apparently unmoved he said on tuesday that he had a constructive meeting with a group of civil rights leaders but he was not changing his opposition to ask dr one he met with al sharpton. He met with the n. Double acp president derrick johnson. He met with the national urban league president as well and the national council of African american women and some other groups and there's nothing basically for or against everyone's position was discussed asked. If the meeting changed his position he added. No i don't think anybody changed positions on that new york times. Editorial board is now some reason. My earphones just went through the roof anyway. New york times editorial board member. Mary gay finds of american flags in long island apparently disturbing because apparently they're mixed with trump flags in a few anti biden signs. I was on long island this weekend. Visiting dear friend and i was really disturbed. I saw in a dozen and dozens of pickup trucks with split goes against joe biden on the back of them trump lags and some cases just dozens of american flags which is also just disturbing because essentially the message was clear was this is my country. This is not. You're not intriguing. I own this and so until we're ready to have that conversation. This is going to continue all right. So the bottom line is reminds me a lot of joe lieberman with for a long time kleiber. Now attacking mansion saying this democracy is on fire joyless bay saying mansion is blocking democrats from saving the country house. Democrats while at the senate again to vote on january six commission. Well will they also vote to investigate the two hundred and seventy five riots. Where thousands of cops were you know. Injured getting hit with bottles and bricks and molotov cocktails. We've got to look into that because both are wrong and shouldn't happen and shouldn't ever happen again and they just had a bipartisan group of senators that examine what happened on january six. Nobody's ever examined the writing that went on all last summer. All right a lot of ground to get to today. Eight hundred nine. Four one sean. If you want to be a part of the program we'll take a quick break Also of the latest on the border. We'll have the latest on whether or not law whether or not thou- cheese impact liable for lying to congress. And did he break the law. We have new evidence that suggests. He didn't tell the truth. But i i want to remind you whether you're refinancing a home or buying your first home or buying a new home mortgage rates are at an all time low. Even you can get in the twos..

"Whites. Vice President Harris delivered a speech that was part inspiration and uplift and part of warning siren about a rapidly changing world at a significant turning point. We are now entering The next era. New age. New epoch. With its own tests. With its own challenges. And with its own opportunities. Just look at the last year, she said, which showed how interconnected and fragile it all is. A deadly pandemic can spread throughout the globe in just a matter of months. Gang of hackers can disrupt the fuel supply of Ah, whole seaboard. One country's carbon emissions can threaten the sustainability of the whole earth. This new era, Harris said, will require a modern defense for modern threats, including adversaries who have their sights set on our military technology. Our intellectual property. Our elections are critical infrastructure. The ransomware attack by criminal hackers earlier this month. Well, that was a warning shot. In fact, there have been many warning shots. Harris concluded on a hopeful note that those graduates about to toss their hats in the air and continue their service to the country were trained and prepared to help and so Midshipman. When you stand to take the oath. I want you to know. That as we embark on this new era President Joe Biden and I Our entire nation. Have great faith in you. And we are proud of you. Later In the ceremony, Harris was presented with a gift from the Class a jacket as she put it on over her trademark dark pantsuit. The crowd roared with approval. Tamara Keith NPR news Fighting between Hamas and Israel came as Israeli prime Minister Netanyahu was already struggling to stay in office. He's facing charges of corruption. And the results of another deadlocked election. Conflict reminded people of his record as a hard line defender of Israel. But NPR's Jackie Northam reports from Jerusalem. His political fate is still unclear. In early May. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political career was on the ropes. The last four Israeli parliamentary elections ended in deadlock in a coalition was looking to oust him from power. Ansel Feffer, the author of the book BB, The Turbulent Life and Times of Benjamin Netanyahu says on May 10th, A key meeting was scheduled among the opposition parties and if that really would have gone well Happy Even in that week, they would already be the new government replacing to know but the meeting was.

"The broadcast of what you just heard in that opening that we put together. Was not a Republican and Democrat doing it out over a covert relief. It was Vice president Harris and Democrat Joe Manchin. Doing it out over covert relief. And as you heard eating, which, obviously Joe mansions is significant vote. He said He saw the interview and I can't believe it. So The vice president, United States. Is in West Virginia. Going after a Democratic senator from West Virginia. On an issue that should have bipartisan support called covert relief, and you have to ask yourself what are the politics of this one? When the American people need the help and fan before he went on the air? I asked you what was going on here? What is going on here? Well, it's terrible politics J. I would say it's political incompetence. If you ask me because Look, Joe Manchin is someone that from the very beginning, has said that he wants a covert package. But yet he's talking reasonably about it. J He's he wants the dollars that were already passed in covert stimulus to actually reach the people that were needed. So when they pass another package is the people that Get the help that's needed. But let me focus in really quickly J on the political calculation here because by pushing away one of the 50 votes that they need in the United States Senate, it's sending the message. They're gonna have to have Republican votes. And I will tell you, Jay in a vacuum Republican voters senators are willing to pass a covert stimulus package. But here's what's happening in the United States House of Representatives this week. J. They're beginning a budget reconciliation process to move covert stimulus with only 51 votes. So look, the only way to look at this. J is they don't want Republican votes there. They're using a strategy that doesn't plan to get Republican votes. And yet they're chasing away one of the Democrat votes that we need. Jay. The only thing I can call that political incompetence, and I'm thinking about it. And, of course, and that's is the Senate's preparing for an impeachment trial. And instead of focusing on covert relief with the American people, people need their focusing on an impeachment trial in a person. It's not president anymore. Yeah, well, we've commented on this several times. J. I mean, you've got the president. United States who's being in impeached by the House was no longer the president of the United States. The Senate does not have jurisdiction, but they're revving up for a fight in the Senate. There's gonna be a trial. The House managers air coming over and they working overtime to do the impossible and that is to impeach. President who has left office instead of focusing on covert relief and then fighting with their own party, with Kamala Harris going to West Virginia without even Joe Manchin, knowing it and disparaging his state in his presence, telling people that they're suffering that they're hungry, that they're scavengers. What a thing to say about the people in West Virginia. But the irony of all this is everybody agrees in Washington. We need to get the next Cove in relief package through Logan is joining us today, by the way. On and then everybody agrees and you've heard this on your radio broadcast. Covert relief is necessary. Economic relief is necessary, and they're fighting with each other, not Republican Democrat. This social dysfunction that has already begun 10 days into this fighting through the media, of course, which is what our is, It seems to be. You know, you can't just you take this year. The right down the street from each other. Even come. Yeah. You're right. Joe Manchin of the same party. I mean, on the line of all of them, Joe Mansion has been the one they always did talk about is like, you know, he's like a Democrat light. You know, I don't know, but My girl, but we want your thoughts. You heard my rant about media last Friday and I feel the same way. This is weaponizing media still because you could take over the airwaves in certain areas and bypass your local representation representatives who really know what's going on in your own home state. Especially right now, when those areas really could use the relief of the phone lines are open. Yeah, I'll tell you what, we'll take your calls. 864 31 telling me taste something else we're gonna do.
