"I mean. It doesn't get more augustus than that. Yeah i don't really see that happening. I mean if if just to be. Hey if she wanted to be a moment taryn that separates her from the guys. You can't get more separation than this and it's like the guys are going to be all right. We're we're going after beth. Now no they would They they also have no choice by But yeah. I mean i agree. I think the problem is going to have. Is that despite wanting to go against the guys. I don't think she actually can. And i'm definitely concerned especially given what i've been seeing of this conversation that she is going to burn all of the capital that she's gaining for making this decision by questioning it and not being firm in it and letting this whole idea. Well maybe i should take out tara now. Tear is not gonna feel like she shouldn't put you on the block anymore now. Britain's not gonna feel like he's with you as much anymore now row is not gonna think that you're willing to go against guys if you're willing to backtrack on this move and all of the all of the progress that you've made is going to go down the drain. How about this argument. Terror is going to go to the finals and get zero votes. Very likely not really an argument. Yeah don't you think that personnel i. I talked about this a lot in survivor of like take out the go the the clogging up a spot. Yeah sometimes depends on who you are right like if you are another potential go then definitely you wanna take out the other go because you want that spot But if you are somebody who is unsure about whether or not they can win in the end and you have a decent amount of control in the game then you probably want that person because you wanna be sitting next to them so it it all depends and you wanna you wanna at least believe in yourself a little bit. Even if it's not true even if you do really suck you wanna like think that you could still win and the end sure and people just lied to themselves. All the time I noticed that tara has less shirt talk about like positive the she's super super positive. Person yeah yeah. La- positive messaging in the wardrobe. I follow the twitter. I find that She's not always saying very positive messages in the house. Is there their correlation between the amount that you have to say that you are super positive in your clothing to maybe that you are not a super positive person you have to be strong minded and sometimes you just need constant reminders by looking in the mirror Yeah relation. I feel like i feel like maybe it's stands out more when somebody When you name your alliance grateful and then shut the slams the door and somebody's face right like i feel like it stands out more but i feel like probably the reality of the situation is that most people are just unaware of their own actions and south and so there are plenty people that we'll talk about being grateful inclined and have no idea that they are not. Yeah i just feel like that. It's one of these things like the more you declare something the likelier chance. You're not actually that thing like the more vic tells us she's the greatest player of all time. It makes me start the suspect. Well maybe she's not actually the greatest player of all time. Maybe tara isn't actually a super positive person. She knows she probably knows that. And that's what the sherzer for. Even though in the mirror it would be backwards but still That kind of that kind of mindset. You have to grow it whereas vic vic vic scott hers grown she. She believes that that next. You're gonna tell me that keefer doesn't actually always keep it real. Just call me grab super grip in these apart off.

"Bill that would allow teachers in Florida to carry guns in the classroom expected to be signed into law. Now, it's advances to the governor's desk after being passed sixty five to forty seven the Florida house just yesterday, Tallahassee the Senate approved the measure twenty two to seventeen they thought the opponents of this thing thought, the only hope to shoot it down. So to speak was going to be in the Senate nut. So anyway, so here's the breakdown. It's going to allow school districts to decide if teachers can participate in the voluntary guardian program after passing it's a one hundred and forty four hour. Training course, now the big question goes to governor rod Santa's I can't I can't remember has he talked about this supporting this thing in the past. You know, I know that Vic Scott did. But Scott definitely, but I'm telling you now, the teachers Broward County already saying, we're not doing it. Yeah. And it's it's the there's a lot of misinformation about this thing. Already probably by design. There's a lot of propaganda out there on both sides, really. But it's totally voluntary. And said it is a hundred forty four hour training program. But still that's a lie as far as gun training goes. I think that is a lot of hours actually, but still to get a permit. Don't you just fire one bullet? And they give it to you believe. So I don't know. But I'm thinking back to a lot of teachers I had wouldn't want Amar, but it comes to this. We're only even talking about this because we haven't done enough to secure these schools like our buddy Andy Pollack says soft targets this never would've come up the the idea at some. I totally get it think it's totally preposterous to even arm. Teachers. I get that this only came up because they didn't do anything to security schools. Nothing's been done. And then there's the thought of sending your child to school and not knowing if they're gonna come home. That's terrifying for parents. But realize the answer me can't we put actual real law. And I know it's it's expensive by the teachers there to teach the what reading writing and arithmetic the three RS, right? So I mean, unless they're former military perhaps or they served on this team at sometime in their past. I don't know. It's just easy for maybe a student to get a hold of the gun or it could fall out of the desk. How do you secure it in a late fraught with problems? I never thought of his ankle until somebody brought it up to us. I call her running up to aside. He was like even before Christmas when this idea I came up the tea it was from a teacher who is anonymous did not want the pressure of having to even question whether or not he or she has to go through this program. It's like another thing they gotta worry about right, right? It should be out of their hands the schools should be secure. Anyway, it's like with a police officer who shoots someone you. You get your administrative leave you have to go through the court process. Right. Maybe they accidentally shoot the wrong per, you know, then there's legal. They're legal jeopardy journey that story yesterday. And and it can happen to anybody mistakes can happen. But that was that school resource officer in Pasco county was just leaning up. Against the wall and has gone went off accidents do happen. I'm not saying that that would be like, you know, par for the course at all. But they do happen. This security should happen outside the classroom. They should be at the guard gate. I love the idea of canine dogs on campus. Whatever it is. Yeah. But to even bring this up means we've totally failed. Course we can't have metal detectors because it takes too long to get all three thousand kids for the metal detector every morning. God it'd be like TSA tried to get a math class. I just want to take my test. We're to be late for my flight to miss. Arithmetic? So I don't know this is going to be hotly debated issue though. But this is I think of all the issues that the governor do Ron Ron Ron to Santa says on his desk. This is going to be the most controversial so far. This might be as big as test on airplanes you have air marshalls. A you don't know which one is the air marshal. But you if you know the teacher might be armed than their target. Right. Well, that's. Who it is? And if they are armed, and it's a tough issue because I wouldn't want to listen, if you're a teacher, and this is your career you want to have to leave that, but you're afraid for your own safety in school. I don't want to take your right to carry got away. His why this is so sticky at like, I said it never should've gotten to this point schools should have been secured already. So teachers don't have to worry about this. Absolutely. Yep. All right. We had it streamed live, and there were some laugh out loud funny moments. I heard people down the hall yesterday like late morning when the bar testimony was happening where it was just he was so calm, cool, and collected some of these questions and some people are going on like what he just absolutely shutdown Dianne Feinstein from California that was beautiful, but what has gotten into this lady? This is just like the cavenaugh hearings. This mazy Hirono from Hawaii. Oh, boy, she is something special here. What did she say? After the cabinet hearing men, just sit down and shut up, man. You have no opinion just sit down and shut up. Let's keep in mind that a lot of these critics like comma Harris who bar has no credibility. They all believed Christine Blasi Ford like hook line and sicker. They said she had complete credibility. So. Top one hundred people of the year. Oh, absolutely. All sure. Absolutely. Right. I just don't know. One quad. Rated her story buddy Senator Hirono. She went right to the resign issue. Oh, yeah. We don't like the results of the report. So we want you to quit as attorney general. That's what she got to the United States is a sacred trust. You have betrayed that. Trust America deserves better. You should resign. And she called him a liar. He didn't respond to that one. But I wish she did what she just sat through my. No, he needs this. He's he was already the attorney general before under George H W Bush. Okay. So and the bushes hate Trump. So right. What's you know? There's really no affiliation there whoever. There's no you can't tie anything tangentially to that. I'm sorry. I just got a jumping. Because after hearing that I just thought to myself what the hell is she talking about? What what is what is she? You're talking about a couple of times don't. What is what they were talking about the early who who was she talking to the situation she thinks she was back at like, a different court case just just just resign. Like what you say. So just resigned. That's what they go to admonish her. Yeah, he did. And did. So in a great way. Now, this is where William bar was perfect. Can you imagine Jeff Sessions in this situation? If it had gotten to that, I I think he would have published a thing piecemeal, and they would have attacked would have been a hearing a week. It would have been a total nightmare, and they just would have gotten up there and said I recused myself from this hearing, and I just wanna go home, and by the way, marijuana's bad that would have been a nightmare. He would never have called Muller up and said, hey, Bob, what's with the letter. No running. I remember bar offered Muller to read the letter before he put it out the four page letter. Jim next segment coming up. We're going to get to that too. Where bar? Yeah. Exactly. Right. Karen? He did say that he say do you want to do this? What are your what exactly are your main concerns? It's not like Muller was sandbagged by his own report here. They're trying to completely twist this around. Anyway, I don't think anybody believes it. We'll get to the CNN CNN zone poll says nobody buys the what the Democrats are slinging here their own poll. Get that to talk about coming up in a couple of minutes as well. As to the jeopardy champ. Do it again, do we have James wholesaler making more money? It's a little tease for a couple of minutes away. Keep it here. Next these cellphone a morning show. A lot of traffic.

"See what this line comes out at C K P has minus two on Louisville. I would assume that they won't be favored by two. I think him, you know, it might be favored by one or because to pick him because of the situation. Action. But very seriously what this line comes out at and if I had to lean towards something in this game. I'd probably lean toward the under based on the fact that low Ville will be trying to slow this game down. I think that when both teams are highly motivated helps the Onder, and I would think that both teams would be very motivated for this game yet looking at what tour Vic, Scott, he's got minus two point six on Louisville. I think that's probably a little bit optimistic as well. And when you look at this game here in the previous meeting the worst home loss ever for North Carolina under ROY Williams, and that doesn't happen in Chapel Hill that does not happen in the dean dome. We'll see I mean, this is one of those things too where for Chris Mack. I mean, you said you think he's over achieving a little bit. We talk about how maybe sometimes performances and outcomes don't get graded the way that they should maybe team beats a bad team at a tough situational spot. Go. Well. Yeah. That team sucks, and we look at it and go no that's a really good win. Louisville gets this one. I know it's a good win because North Carolina's a top ten team. But given what happened in the first meeting, given what North Carolina has its mind in this meeting, a Louisville regular season sweep is going to be really really impressive. Oh, absolutely. If Louisville wins this game immediately. Their stock goes up quite a bit more. You know, this is a team that would be playing for some really impressive seeding after you know, they weren't expected to be doing much of anything. So this this Louisville team has really overachieved so far this year. I think this is a game where it's easy to say that you know, North Carolina would be the team. That's more motivated. I assume North Carolina's gonna be supremely motivated for this game. But you know, Chris max a really good coach and Louisville has plenty of reasons to be excited for this game. And and prove themselves as well. So no, no. Real strong lean on this game. I just thought it was interesting to talk about based on the the level of revenge that North Carolina has here. All right. So we head out to the big west year for the degenerates special out on the island. Santa Barbara takes on Hawaii. What's what's so intriguing about this game freak? Oh, well, Santa Barbara's played some really tough games here of late. You know, they lost in overtime on Thursday night to UC Irvine in game those nationally televised. They've played three really good teams and actually four pretty good teams. If you consider UC Davis a pretty decent team as well. UC Davis on the road Cal State Fullerton on the road Long Beach state on road come home play UC Irvine lose in overtime, then leave to go to Hawaii to play this game. That's a brutal brutal spot here for UCSB. I think UCSB is a little bit better team than his Hawaii. But this is a very very bad spot for them. There's no way I could take UCSB in this game. Hawaii will be favored I think Hawaii will probably win this game. The other thing that I like about this game though, it was like I kind liked the over Hawaii has been sneaky good on offense. Here this year..

"We've definitely seen questions about whether the recounts actually made the count less accurate as vote tallies actually dropped in the numbers that were submitted or attempted to be submitted. I should say yesterday with our county missing a deadline by two minutes when their employees could have figure out how to navigate the state's website. So we've still it's still been a muddled process. But at least this time around there are laws saying what has to be done in win. But given David given how many voters live in those counties, and as you said, we know that floor elections are always really really close shouldn't floor. Then expect that this kind of close race where we're going to have last minute ballots coming in will be pretty normal, and they should expect to be able to handle this. Yeah. I think that's a fair expectation and in each county the election supervisor's machines, her tabulating machines are old and were unable to to handle the burden of rerunning hundreds of thousands of ballots after having just run them for the election. And I think that's an indictment on their planning. The apparently set aside eleven million dollars to buy new equipment. But that was going to happen after this election that decision I guess to wait and our county Miami Dade County seems to be doing, but Broward County also has had a bunch of problems. And and yeah, I mean, given that all, you know, all the people watching the process involved in its seemed to have a good sense that this was going to come down to close margins. It's not crazy. Thank that. The election supervisors should have been better prepared in especially in Broward, and on beach. Let's talk about Broward County, Brenda Snipes. Who's the Broward County election? Commissioner has been the target of a lot of the blame for this process to she deserve the blame. Yeah. She does as a human being, frankly, I feel bad for her to feel bad for anyone who's sort of, you know, getting the ire of the entire country. Anders been circus outside of her headquarters for about a week. Now, you know, there's no evidence that there's been widespread fraud and Broward County. We have all these allegations that there's ballot stuffing, and yet when the recount totals were tempted to be submitted Bill Nelson actually lost more votes than Vic Scott lost in. So Rick Scott gained a couple hundred votes on him. And then suddenly the allegations from Republicans became that. Broward County was intentionally not turning its recount numbers to help Bill. Not lose those votes. Oh, which one thing is not like the other. So the arguments were changing, but on the other hand, Brenda Snipes has a well documented history of problems of either ignoring or not knowing about state laws in what her department could do and she's done very poor job of explaining from the jump. What her department was doing? And how many ballots were to be counted why she had so many ballots coming in after Tuesday night. When some candidates sauteed already won thousands of mail in ballots that were being counted into the early hours of Wednesday morning after the election resulted largely in the governor's race going to recount and in a statewide agriculture Commissioner race actually flipping from the Republican to democrat. And there are state laws that require Snipes and other election supervisors to report their numbers every forty five minutes, which he wasn't doing. She couldn't say how many ballots left to be counted. And those are serious problems. You know, part for job is just putting the ballots, but also ensuring that there's trust in the process, and she seems. To have done a bad job on both counts. Do you think that the integrity of the entire process in the state, then has been undermined and and what voters that you're talking to in the state? How are they going to process? This going forward about trusting the state to accurately count the votes that have been cast. I think the political rhetoric has undermined the process more. So than the actual process itself to have the governor of the state without evidence..

"This. Court hearing you up Florida recount, you know, what I feel like I feel like a guy standing in the lobby of a Bank. Here comes some robbers rocketed with guns walk up to the tellers and say give me the money, and what am I supposed to do to stop this Bank robbery from occurring? I could call a cop. But in this case, the cops I read that it because Florida's so unbelievably corrupted, the all you could just see a crime being committed right in front of us here, isn't that? What's going on in Florida? It's the same thing. It's except in the past that Florida they haven't gotten away with the crime. They just came close to it this one they might not get away with either because the crime might be impossible to pull up there. So far behind in the actual count that it takes a lot of votes. They have to steal the election. But they got a court order saying that everything about that. I fully introduced the show. This is the Mark Belling late afternoon show. News talk eleven thirty anyway. Everything about voting in Florida's weird now as is the case in most states, there isn't one actual ballot form for area in Florida just as here in Wisconsin. Some people vote with certain kinds of ballots other people vote with other ballots, which is why the Milwaukee county absentee ballots were put in a certain kind of envelope, which is different from say, what kind of ballot Paul would have voted for what he early voted. This is the case all over the country, but you don't have standardize voting anyway in Florida. When people request an early ballot and do early voting. They have to sign an envelope and the envelope signature is matched up against the signature that is on record with the Florida election officials. I don't know that anybody other say does it this way. But they do it's like supposed to be a check against vote fraud. In other words, you know, what? You know when you go to. They don't do this as much anymore. When you buy something and say, a grocery store, a drugstore, you sign that little optical scanner for the credit card thing, they actually are matching the signature with the signature. That's on file there. That's why you're scared while you're citing that I've never had it be rejected. But that's supposed to be one of the things that's going on in there that some sort of matching is going on. Well in Florida they match up the signatures. And if they don't match the person's ballot is counted. A judge has now given the individuals whose votes were rejected because the signatures didn't batch it extra couple of days to revote. I. There's not even any kind of just making this is a federal judge just making it up as you go along. Okay. We're gonna allow you to vote again a week and a half later because we decided that there was something wrong with the way the is submitted the vote the first time. What does that even exist in the law? Let you don't. I bet I could probably go and find a handful of people who are stupid enough to vote for Tony. Uber's get them. You know? I don't like how I voted. I've decided to change my mind. I'm going to go vote again give me by ballot back. So I can market Scott Walker able to do that. As I said from what I knew about Florida. And I know I know as much about Florida is the only other state, I would say that I know more about other than of course, Wisconsin is Illinois and a lot about what goes on in Illinois. I worked there covered politics for five years. I know a lot of politics in Florida because I know a lot of people who live in Florida, some influential people Florida, I go to flow at a lot. I know the lay of the land with regard to politics employers say I don't think I've pretty well to a little ad flood. I know what goes on down there. I know this whole thing, and I know all the personalities, and I know the people who have influenced the behind the scenes stuff at cetera et cetera et cetera. The one reason I will give you to be optimistic that they don't steal this election is Rick Scott is Nobody's Fool. And he's got a fair amount of Dink in him. And I mean that positive way he's not one of these Republicans that will roll over impact. He's the kind of Republican that'll elbow democrat of the face before they know enough to elbow him in the face. He's a sharp cookie. And he's got a little bit of ruthless himself here, which is what as you know, I believe Republicans have to get themselves. Here. You got Democrats that are fighting on every level in our country playing by rules that we have never seen before. Right up to it, including chasing people out of restaurants. Heckling tackle Carl said his home engaging it out not vote fraud changing rules co-opting the court's audit. I whatever tactic. You wanna mention they proven themselves capable of doing and Republicans have got to tough it up and be willing. I'm not saying to beat ruthless and unethical. We'll take it back not to be an ethical, but they have to be ruthless and they have to be hard hitters, Ed. Scott's not just going to roll over and let them do this. He's not I have some optimism that Scott will be able to figure out a way to stop them from stealing this election because he's a tough guy. Remember, Rick, Scott is the governor of Florida elected to two terms down there to get elected Republican governor in that state. You've got to be a tough guy. And you got to know how the where the bodies are buried, and you know, how to do your fighting yourself that he's running for the United States Senate here. So you've got. I'm not saying Rick Scott to be the greatest Senator in the United States if he's elected, but he's about the perfect guy. You'd wanna have for something. Like this this going on? You would be like if in Kentucky, they tried to do this Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell does every single trick. There is in the book. There are times you need to have people like that on your side. I'm not gonna say Rick Scott is like Bill Belichick check. Because Rick Scott's not the best governor in the United States have Bill Belichick might be the best football coach. But Bill Belichick is just if there's a if there's a way that he can get around the rules, or whatever Scott's got a little bit of that in it himself. Point that out now, my producer, Paul who's something of a moron. That I would say that. Well, I'm something of a more on myself. I don't deny it. I mean, why would you would not what are you going to claim your not something of a moron at time? Well, that's why I said something of a borat. I didn't say you were a more. And I said something of a moron. Says we I can't remember to you picky Thurman to be country music entertainer of the year. Yes. I actually didn't. But I see I don't have the I I'm not as big a Dinkas ex-cop doubted Florida's Vic Scott would have just said. Yes, he did. I you throw that out there. No. I did not pick. It Keith Reverend. I do this thing every year picked the country music entertainer of the year. I did not picky Thurber. You asked me if I did. I mean, if I was asleep bag, I would just not even bring it up at the AFC. If I claimed it on the air, everybody say, no, I didn't. But I could lie to even say, but I'm not gonna get into it today. Let you think this no Keith urban did where there's a good thing about this though, Paul you know, what it is done with making these predictions. Yes. Last award show, I could stomach was the country music awards. And now I can't stomach those and no I'm never going to watch Eddie award show for editing again. I I first of all. Country the country music awards becoming the same liberal sewer that every other award show is the fact that the people who are voting on. This would give this to us a politically correct lefty simply Keith Keith urban who doesn't even fit the criteria for the award. He didn't have the biggest year. He's not somebody that could sell a fifty thousand seat arena as a headliner. He. They like him because he's everything that we don't like about the entire rest of show business. He was he got the award for political reasons more than anything else. And I used to be able to predict this thing because country music voters were the one group that we had an ice society that I felt that I understood and that was based on years of having been involved before I came here I worked in radio stations that were country I paid attention to the music. I always liked watching that award show as opposed to any of the others. But clearly, I don't understand that any more. So I'm not gonna make the prediction because I don't know how to predict it. It'd be right. And now I don't have to pay attention to any award shows ever again. And that's the end of that. So that's the good news. So this next year when people try to remind me to have to do the prediction. I just say no he's decided to move out and not do it. No, I did not predict that. It would be Keith urban. I thought it would be Jason aldean who is the anti Keith urban and country music and clearly Jason aldean who is far more deserving of it and had a bigger year. And I would have thought for a lot of reasons including the Las Vegas shooting and everything else would have gotten the award. Not a did that didn't that didn't happen. So now, I'm going to move on from that the stock back stock market actually went up today. I didn't know it was capable of going up. It said nothing but go up for ten years. It's gone down for a month at everybody, including me as frequent about the wall saying I continue to think that the bias on the stock market is down. Yeah. Mean you follow the stock market? What you're always the optimist, though, six months of now the market be higher or lower than it is today. Pauses hire you always say higher, though, don't you? Ido? But don't you always say higher? The fact of the battery is if you said higher every month for the last one hundred years, you're you're right more often than not because the bias in the market generally is higher. I'm at least agnostic and. In fact, before I get into like three or four other really important things that expand on this from in fact, there's the story I'm going to get to next the Brexit story. Let me expand this for a minute. I get criticism from some listeners when I. Wafa on a prediction in which I say, I'm not really sure what's going to happen. Stick out say something. Well, in fact, I stick by neck out. All the time included got things. I clearly don't know anything about like picking these football games against the point spread. But. I don't think I should fake an opinion to the audience. There are many topics including things having to do with the economy. International trade rabbit opinion on what's going to happen with tariffs the many areas in which I have strong opinions. If I don't know where if I think that the signals are mixed, or if I can't make up my mind, Mike, I'm not running a thing here where you're paying me to just flip a coin. And then tell you pretend that it's my opinion. If I think that there are mixed signals that I don't really know. I think my best thing to be the is to be honest about it and just tell you. I don't really know. So look to somebody else for a firmer opinion the signals in fact are mixed but I'll get crappy come on. I don't know. I try to be honest about these things I tell you with my own personal investment that I've sold a lot of the stocks that I hold, Ed. In the 4._0._1._K. We have here from the station, which is built up on all these years, which is so therefore it's pretty big thing about half in stocks and half nodded stocks ID in my individual account. I've probably fifty five percent in stocks ID forty five percent. And something else. I think it's extremely risky right now. But I don't know that. But the market is going to go into an all a crash, which is why as I said, that's so that's what I've done. In other words, I've tried to be cautious. But not commit to one side or the other the other thing that I've tried to point out to the audiences. I'm not a spring chicken anymore. I'm not thirty three years old the older one gets in other words, the more. The you've saved over your life. The more you can't afford to be involved in the market. If it goes down sixty five or seventy percent, which it has done a number of times in history. You don't have the eighty five year old guy should not be. I think one hundred percent invested in the stock market because he doesn't have the fifteen years to get the money back. That would go what it comes down. Plus, you're living on all of that the older that you get and I'm not saying I'm anywhere near retirement age because I'm not, but I've got it up here that I don't wanna fight it all the way up there is protracted downturn on the other hand..

"Program. Court hearing into Florida. I feel like I feel like a guy standing in the lobby of a Bank and here comes robbers walk. It'd with guns walk up to the Keller's and say give me the money, and what am I supposed to do to stop this Bank robbery from occurring? I could call a cop. But in this case, the cops are read at it. Because Florida's so unbelievably corrupted though, you could just see a crime being committed right in front of us here, isn't that? What's going on in Florida? It's the same thing. It's this except in the past that Florida they haven't gotten away with the crime. They just came close to it this when they might not get away with either because the cry might be impossible to pull up they are so far behind the actual count that it takes a lot of boats. They have to steal the election. But they got a court order saying that everything about that. I fully introduce the show. This is the Mark Belling late afternoon show. News talk eleven thirty WINS said anyway. Everything about voting at Florida's weird. Now, as is the case in most states, there isn't one actual ballot form for every area in Florida just as here in Wisconsin. Some people vote with certain kinds of ballots and other people vote without their ballots, which is why the Nobuaki county absentee ballots are put in a certain kind of envelope, which is different from say, what kind of ballot Paul would have voted for what he early voted. This is the case all over the country. We don't have standardized voting anyway in Florida. When people request an early ballot and do early voting. They have to sign an envelope and the envelope signature is matched up against the signature that design record with the Florida election officials. I don't know that anybody other state does it this way. But they do it's like supposed to be a check against fraud. In other words. They don't do this as much anymore. When you buy something at say, a grocery store drug store, you sign that little optical scanner for the credit card thing, they actually are matching the signature with the signature. That's on file there. That's why you're scared while you're citing that I've never had it be rejected. But that's supposed to be one of the things that's going on in there that some sort of matching is going on. Well in Florida they match up the signatures. And if they don't match the person's ballot is counted. A judge has now given the individuals whose votes were rejected because the signatures didn't batch an extra couple of days to revote. I. There's not even any kind of just making this is a federal judge who just making it up as you go along. Okay. "Fifty five out looks like more late whole lot cheeseburgers. I was leaning though, dude. Now fucking fat. Do this big difference? I'm just saying they were so thin. And so skinny. It was scary. Because I look at you know, when I was growing up I was like my heroes were from the Vietnam era etcetera. Looked at the poor Vietnamese. Just you almost could just went through with a flyswatter. Kill them. All. But. But they were vicious little fighters. So you never know. I mean. Anybody else got way off the track on you got a legitimate one real quick or no me. Yeah. Yeah. I got Broward County Broward County voting commission, dude. What actual fuck is going on in Broward County, every it's called fraud every election for last twenty years has hinged upon especially like the presidential something tavern in Broward. Oh, lord. We found a bunch more votes. What the fuck come on free. Can they went on and Broward County? Everybody knows anybody from Arjun ration- west, especially hip, hop generation. You know about two crew you heard all the stories about Br Broward County, it's predominantly people of color. Should according to the Democrats be a blue area. And it's only it always comes down to wire. It's always a recount, or we found a whole bunch more mysterious votes that for some reason just couldn't get to the polls in time like everybody else's vote. But they have to be counted. It's like what is going on in Broward County, people real quick real quick. Did I miss a meeting? Are we not allowed to say black anymore? 'cause that's like the third or fourth time Christmas said people of color. He he's. Are they are the yellow or purple or they ran, hey, I'm woke people Moyle starting. I'm not sure if it's woke or sober one of the two. He's only had one and a half to hear some more like an hour and a half in. For you. Yeah. That's nice Schick like the election. You know county Commissioner or whatever she is. She's already hasn't. She maybe not been in Dina, but definitely been charged with voter fraud before as recently as two thousand sixteen. How? Is happening. How is you're not a federal commission. That's down in Broward County, like a federal fish has to examine Egli. It's already going to happen in the media's already got it protected because they came out and said that no matter what happens on this election that Trump will deem. Several of them invalid. And that's what I was. That was my next point. That's my. Happen. That's my ex point about this being Sally. It's a win win for the Democrats because of they actually come out and win the election. I mean that speaks for itself if for some reason this other lawyer comes down and goes, Nope. This too late. They disenfranchise whole bunch of poor people, whatever color. They are black. It's okay. Whatever color doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Let's just take say stake race out of the cuisine. Doesn't matter there. It is a predominantly black county. But it doesn't matter. They're going to say. Matter it just reinforces that support by the Democratic Party, which is total bullshit, if the Democrats were so awesome. You know, choir there, still huge city centers from by Democrats were black people Spanish people or poor and disenfranchised by the whole system. Because they don't do anything for them to care about them every four years or every election. I agree. I don't understand. What's going on? Broward county's always comes down to Broward County, Florida national election. You do understand elections. It is. Okay. I guess what? I don't understand the election votes at seven they have to turn everything in seven o'clock tonight. They just announced it. Yeah. That was after though that it was announced that Vic Scott with sending a bunch of feds their state law. Yeah. Because the state law is all supposed to be turned in thirty minutes after the polls closed, but here we are a couple of days later going what's going on in Broward County kin knowing as their languages for you..

"Both of them be could be looking Republicans controlling fifty three fifty four seats on the night. And that could be where they're long tail. Good scenario comes in a plunk. Let's move now to the Florida governor's race. I've been covering this race very closely. As part of my silent for CNN, we talked about the impact that hurricane Michael is having on this race today. The we're gonna go a bit more in depth. This is a matchup between democrat, Andrew gillum. The mayor of Tallahassee arising democratic star President Obama's going to be there for Gillam later this week. He's running against the Republican, Ron Disentis. He is in many ways, Donald Trump clone. Definitely hoping to to really fire up. The Trump base of the. Party. This is an interesting dynamic because you have the current governor Rick Scott who's running for the Senate. We've talked about that race before. So there's no incumbent even though the incumbent is on the ballot and a different form. Gillam was already the first major party African American candidate for governor in Florida's history. He'd be the first African American governor if elected race is a huge overtone in this in this particular campaign, which people may not be talking about directly. But there's certainly been a lot of conversations about it Gillam into Santa's did square off in a fiery headline making debate during which Guillem addressed the fact that descent was receiving support from a Neo Nazi group that was sending out robo calls to voters in Florida. Now descent just did reject that group support. And of course, descent is heavily attacking Andrew gillum role in an FBI investigation of his former lobbyist friend, which kill miss caught up. In maintains it he's not a target that investigation. President Trump tweeting about that of this week again with a racial. Overtone harry. I know you don't forecast governors races. Put it into my machine. This is you know, with enough head time is this again, a podcast exclusive. This is this is a podcast TV exclusive, and I can tell you that according to our forecast, we believe that Andrew gillum is forecast to win by five percentage points, that's perhaps a little wider margin than you might expect. Of course, there is a margin of error associated with that. So that Santa still has a shot, but Gillam has led in pretty much every pulse since the primary, and I think that there's a lot of people who are surprised that this if only because there hasn't been a democratic governor elect in the state of Florida since in lawn child back all the way in nineteen ninety four when he did you have Bush. That's how long it's been. But you know, what the polls right now half favorite more than that. You know, yet Florida is a little bit more to the right in the country as a hall, plus four Republican on the weighted average partisanship. But if you look at the policy that Trump while perhaps not as underwater as you'd expect the his national wider writing still isn't very popular in. In the state recent New York Times Adams, one point higher disapprove of an approval rating and not just say this. If Gillam is going to lose that means that pretty much every poll of this race is going to be wrong. We've seen that happen before. But Andrew gillum at this point looks like he's going to be only the third elected African American governor in this country history. Th really incredible. It's such an interesting race because you have these two candidates. We talk about races where candidates are trying to play to the center. This has been a race where you have really two polar opposites, you could not have two candidates that are more different from each other. And also, I mean, you know, if we're thinking that Guillem is potentially winning this race. He's a huge departure from the Rick Scott era in Florida. So we are watching before very is a state take almost one hundred eighty degree turn politically. And again, this is state. Also, that's Donald Trump's that. Right. And the thing too about killing that we can't understand enough is this is not just a. He is a progressive democrat by any measure, he's called for abolishing ice in its current form. He had Bernie Sanders endorsement he he is proposed a Medicare for all plan, which would be a combination between Florida in New York and California where they would create a scenario for everyone to get Medicare which has been roundly panned by Disentis. And then on the other side of it to Santa's is not a moderate Republican by any stretch of the machination. He voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act strongly in favor of a wall on the southern border. And of course, he's fully embraced Donald Trump. I find it. Interesting Harry, because I think Americans think of Florida as a swing state is it really a swing state, or is it just a state where there is an equal number of highly partisan voters on each side. I think what is the definition of the swing state, right? One. Could argue that Massachusetts more of a swing state than Harda is because you know, you elect the democrat president by more than twenty points, and you're gonna turn around lane Republican governor by upwards of forty points this year, right? That's a. A whole nerdy discussion. But yet look you got about forty percent of the electorate registered democrat about forty percent of the electorate that's registered Republicans twenty percent that are the unaffiliated. I, and you know, we've just seen if you look at to last governor's races. Right. Vic Scott's one by point both times. He'd never gotten over fifty percent. You look at you look at the presidential races. Obama Mbai point from one by point. Yeah. Very very inelastic Electra at least over the last few election cycles, but I want to step back and emphasize what a major election this could be potentially for African Americans in the state of Florida. It's not just about electing Andrew Gillam. It's also about amendment four that's an amendment that will be voted on that needs sixty percent of the voter more, and that would automatically restore the right to vote for people with prior felony convictions, except those convicted of murder or family sexual nonviolent Florida is has some of the most restricted voting. Rights for ex-felons, and that primarily primarily keeps African American men from voting in elections. This is something that we knew all the way back to two thousand race gore versus Bush and something that Rick Scott after Charlie Christians now, a democrat, but was the Republicans haven't had very much back. Those restrictions have reinforced them this amendment for could. In fact, a lot a lot more African Americans than the electors. No matter what amendment for would open the floodgates in that respect, another interesting side note to Florida is that every cabinet member. Centrally is also elected statewide, and they have a clemency committee. They call it. And I was at a rally with Joe Biden where one of the guys running for one of the statewide cabinet officials talked about who would be on that clemency committee, and even if amendment Ford isn't meet that sixty percent threshold if they elect those four Democrats, the clemency committee, we're going to allow a lot more people to have their rights restored. Let me just have one last thing. And that is that there's also a number of supreme court positions that will be open post-election, Florida. These are people who are mostly remnants from the law in child. That's how long they've been on the court for and whoever wins this election could flip sway the Florida Supreme Court for generations. So that huge implications for twenty twenty beyond just who gets elected on election night. All right. Great conversation. It is now time for trivia. I believe Rebecca once I've once so this is like I feel like this is the big tiebreaker ahead of the election night. So what do you got for us? I've got a few questions. This one is from the category four election nerds who sounds like that was going to say. So here we got we're gonna start off. And if we don't get it right while the tiebreaker, maybe a tiebreaker after that, okay? The only two thousand sixteen Republican caucus or primary in which neither repeat neither Ted Cruz nor Donald Trump finished in the top two was held in this place me the question. One more time the only two thousand. Sixteen Republican caucus or primary in which neither Ted Cruz nor Donald Trump finished in the top two. Where was that held? Ohio. That was nice. Y'all you both because at that point the Utah. No, Ohio by Ohio crews in Trump were the only ones left right because it was just knows. The second place confetti without no that was the first place. Remember? Finished in the top two because the cruise Trump were the only ones left at that point listening skills. So casing one that Trump came in second Utah cruise one that. And I believe Trump came in sick. Is it Virginia new? No, you're not you think in too big. So it's a small state. I never said it was a state did I not say state Puerto Rico? No.

"I let you speak Senate you please. Do that. If you stop lying Not, lying I hate America morning you know I do and I think a bunch of bugs there were stunned they're going to. Be mean I'm going to really be mean dies you. Can't outdo me when, it comes to thugging ice I mean these people it reminds me of Gary Hart. Who was Gary Hart and Walter Mondale nineteen Eighty-four you know what that race was about who can get the. United States out of the world the fastest And now Cynthia Nixon an Andrew Cuomo are debating who hates Trump the most who. Hates is the most who's going to, punish Trump the most who's gonna have the most credibility, hating Trump If you if if if you don't live in many of you don't live in New York and you listen to this Does it strike you as strange that these people believe this is the, kind of campaign message that is going to sweep this country and reclaim the house of representatives for the Democrats There isn't anything positive the only thing remotely positive in their convoluted world is when they come up with what they think is a clever insult or attack on on Donald Trump But everything's miserable Everybody's angry. And getting, angrier everybody's unsettled not. Only nobody happy you can't even, find any contentment Nobody's towns relaxed nobody's sounds confident They do not have a message they do not have that they, can get, behind. An openly admit Some of the young ones exemplary contends and and the. Democrat nominee in Florida Mr. column. They're advocating for moving in the direction of Venezuela and other socialist Countries and so. By the, way digital the FBI's been investigating this guy the mayor of Tallahassee Yes. My friends the, FBI been. Investigated this this guy's got some, things have been going on year, it made it it's Could be, problematic This is for the Santa's Opponent So let's go to Newt. Gingrich he has a piece why we're going to see a red wave this fall Start with Tuesday's primaries in Florida a fine well-entrenched stave agriculture Commissioner And, former congressman Adam Putnam decisively lost the gubernatorial primary Iran the Santa's the big boost for, the Santa's came. With Trump's endorsement and, Trump robocalled. To Florida Republicans, and it's true the Santa's was down double digits, Trump comes in does a rally, robo calls. Gets behind him descent this is a double digit winner huge. Turnaround there aren't too many other, Republicans that could pull that off Now new says here the contest for governor in, Florida shaped, up even better for Republicans is a hard left Bernie Sanders back progressive won the democratic, primary with thirty. Four percent of the, vote the. Contrast between a, pro-trump to Santa's in a hard left Sanders socialist, will probably keep Florida in Republican, hands in. November it's very likely the Blue Wave in Florida will disappear With the dissenters. And Rick Scott Vic Scott current governor running for the Senate. Seat being held by Bill the Russians are here Nelson And Scott has run a brilliant campaign by the way Rick Scott's campaign. I don't watch much local news but I somehow seemed. To have run across a bunch of Rick Scott's TV, spots, and they're excellent they have just been superb whether you agree with. That Mr. snake really have And Remember the turnout in the gubernatorial race in. Florida Republicans had one hundred and twenty four thousand more voters than the, Democrats and that was not supposed to happen Another thing that new it says so far Trump and McConnell Mitch McConnell confirmed, sixty federal judges including Justice Gorsuch thirty-three district court judges in twenty-six judges but the court of appeals Trump has nominated more than eighty other judges across. The system and he thinks all of these things. Are things people notice and they and they factor into their assessment of. How things are getting better and improving In America but then Newt writes about Trump's progress on NAFTA sending five big signals Number one making good on a big disruptive promise that set his twenty sixteen campaign apart from. Every other candidate Trump, kept his word and is forcing a difficult negotiation toward success. Trump proved once again that tough language in tough negotiating can actually lead to. Breakthroughs unlike most politicians Trump is willing to endure heat to get. What he wants number three is. A result of his seriousness on trade other countries. Now approaching Trump about trade negotiations Angela Merkel has called this week. For trade talks, that'll guy and Canada's going, to have to make a move fast even. Tricalm's again a little bit worried here vis-a-vis the Norfolk's number four Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tried to be clever when he ambushed and attempted to embarrass Trump. During a press conference of the g seven summit in candidate Trudeau is now discovering Trump has a good memory Canada now has. Virtually no leverage in trying to play catch up with the US Mexico Negotiations and finally the Trump administration continued attention to economic matters despite the liberal media daily efforts to get him. And his team off, balance the average American sees the economy getting better and better. The average American increasingly thinks the success is due to President Trump these are. Some of the reasons why Newt thinks that we're headed to a. Red wave meeting the Republicans holding. The house maybe even picking up a couple of..
