"All the radio shows are offering burn so i am suspicious of that although i still don't think anything will come sorry last one. Von miller seems like he's right good to go yup Physically he's all good to go emotionally. He's pretty beat down after the after what he said this week putting it all out on the line and then completely laying an egg and that's just something that i can't ignore. I mean it's good. Von is fine physically but what he did this week by building. The team building himself up really and then. Jonathan cooper comes in and literally two plays after. Jonathan cooper comes in for the injured von miller he's making plays and it's like von. Where was that. He knew after the game he took full responsibility for that and just said how torn apart he was for that well. It'll interesting to see how he handles everything going forward. And like i said i've got your. I've got my twitter up. I've got you on. There's ac we'll be refreshing throughout the day. "Hit the line of scrimmage. I just knew he was gonna fall forward for four or five yards. And i look down at second three. Yep yeah exactly. And i mean you know we talk about. Once a week. Devante williams has a big time. Run accepted actually. Didn't happen yesterday. But typically he has a big time run where he's carrying guys. That was dearness johnson. Pretty much every single play in your one hundred percent right. It wasn't just the place where he was carrying literally like five guys on him but it was. It was first and ten. And the next thing you know it's second and three and you knew there was no chance the broncos would be able to stop them and forced them to punt And they simply weren't. I mean on third down. The browns were nine of fifteen over sixty percent. That is fantastic for any team. Brady and then you talk about it. With case keenum and dearness johnson. I mean the way dearness. Johnson played right. Now maybe the baltimore ravens are calling the right now an opera and a day to pick for him he looked that good and unfortunately again. This is not the first time that the broncos have been the get right team for other teams. Look the pittsburgh steelers. Then look at the. Las vegas raiders. Even the baltimore ravens. Weren't this world-beater. When they played the broncos the broncos certainly put him on track to look like that. And now the cleveland browns tech. Maybe they roll with case keenum for another game because it looks so good there And it's really unfortunate because this three and start has completely vanished owen four in their last four games and brady. If you look at the broncos schedule they should probably be beat the browns you know. Next week they played the washington. Football team They did the broncos. Just lost to a backup quarterback who who's to say that they're not gonna lose to another one next week. I mean when you lose to a team like this. It's hard to look at the schedule and go. Yeah they can win that game because the browns are the browns. We thought would be a good team going in. Not when you're without your quarterback and to our number one and two running backs when that's going to be such a big part. Plus jarvis. landry had a nice game. He was still kind of banged up. He's coming back. It's not like we expected them to just dominate so. This was crippled cleveland. Browns team that only won by three but it looks pretty bad on. Paper are exact. Going forward there's part of me yes. I i've never felt this strongly about the man in charge for the broncos as far as vic fangio goes as far as coaching but with this being the stopgap feel to it type of year. Are you better off just to say no. We're just going to stay the course and not fire anybody. Just stay out is for better or worse. If they're that bad we'll get a good draft pick if they're that good and turn it around then that's great to what. What are you really see. Do we have changes coming. Oh brady people do not want to hear what you just said. But i think you're onto something right when right when george payton was hired i was told by a very good source. That don't be surprised. If george peyton just takes a big step back this year. See how things unfold and then makes his big changes going into next year and what has happened. That exact thing has happened this entire. He's no coaching changes. He's got vic. Make all the decisions on this coaching staff. This year He did not swing big for a quarterback in the draft..

"Northern colorado. How we doing because everybody doing how you doing rough night last night. Very difficult for broncos country this morning a lot to unpack. It's therapeutic for me. I had i had a good friend of mine. One of my best friends. Text me this morning and said it's days like this. I do not envy your job. And i thought about that for a second. I thought you know what actually for me. It can be therapeutic in some sense. Not all the time win. It's something like this with the broncos losing to the browns the way they did and the browns being is beat up as they were. It's almost therapeutic to get on here. Because i don't believe in this team like when the avalanche are struggling right now. If you're a diehard avs fan. That's that's tough. Could your expectations were through the roof. Right for the broncos. You can say you had high expectations. I had high expectations. But i started to come to the realization. After that raiders. Game or around. that raiders. Game that yeah. This is this is this is gonna be is a farce. This is not this is not real life. This is a tween a year. this is a transfer portal. The broncos are in the transfer portal to get a new owner coach all that stuff Cody rourke from pro football network tweeted out that vic fangio was supposed to have his press conference at two mountain time they they have now moved to three. Does that mean anything could might just mean that they got in late last night. Zach stevens will join us from denver broncos. Well here's here's a after the game we're gonna play some of it. We may cut it off if we get tired of it. Here's vic fangio talking about last night's loss to cleveland. You look at the final score and you're gonna seventeen fourteen and you're going to think well seventeen points is good enough defensively but we. We didn't play good defense tonight. Fangio's patience with Lock pays off in big win for Broncos

"Heavy victory monday broncos country. It's always happy when it's victory monday. The broncos taking care of business against the miami dolphins yesterday was just what the doctor ordered. Twenty two thirteen was called a complete team win by so many people starting with vic fangio and then working through the organization all of the players calling a team win. We'll hear from vic fangio here coming up whilst from a happy and relieved drew lock but the broncos dominate on defense six sacks the interception for justin simmons late in the game to seal the win ryan fitzpatrick in and relief at two of who had been knocked out and it was a bunch of people getting in on the act in terms of taxes. John williams with me read. It was bradley job. It was draymond jones. It was demarcus walker. They were all they were all in the mix so it was good to see a complete team effort yesterday. Special teams really. Good they neutralized yukimi grant the stud returner for miami and it kind of relations. You what you thought this team could be. I guess maybe reminds. Isn't the right word but indicate shows you what this team can be when everything comes together. I know that can be a big. If but coming off the effort against the raiders to come back home a team that six and three that had won five in a row to buy low playing great as a rookie and to completely baffle him. Stifle their offense. Just thirteen points are lone touchdown coming early on a really nice catch by devante parker but just a great great effort. And you're on the ground for one hundred eighty nine yards you. Get eighty four for melvin gordon. Plus two scores. Yes the fumbles. Concerning phillip lindsay make plays eighty two yards on sixteen carries. Actually were tied both at fifteen carries for eighty four yards until lindsey was dropped for a two yard loss late in the game and and that ended up being the the difference after the interception

That's locked talking with Ko E News radio's Logan and Louis today, Broncos head coach Vic Fangio says Lock is still his starter. We're gonna go with Drew and keep getting him playing type. But lock is banged up from yesterday's game. His availability for Wednesday's practice right now is questionable, like with many injuries. The next day is Worse than the actual injury during the competition, So he's pretty sore today with the ribs and we'll see where he's at on Wednesday. "From Pat Shurmur and Vic Fangio as they continue to try and iron out the Issues on the offensive side. And there is a Player. That took great umbrage with something one of the coordinators said. Today We'll talk about that as well. And I want to start with the Broncos, but on a different note. You know around this time, sometimes it's Wednesdays. Most of the time. It's really Thursday, where we fully start looking ahead at the next Broncos opponent and that opponent just so happens to be He now? Las Vegas Raiders. I was thinking about something today. You know when I was younger? There were these shirts and are and I'm sure Kind. There are plenty of different kinds of shirts that said about the same thing, but I remember remember a buddy of mine. Would have a shirt that said, I'm a A and then it would be like F. At sign. Dollar sign Asterisk You get what it's saying Raider hater. I'm a F Raider hater. And The Hatred of the Raiders was A real thing. It wasn't you know, some You know, manufactured all we hate those guys. You know, Like you hate other teams. It was a true Hatred. Of another. Football team. I mean the Raiders for much of their existence. Have been like into basically the mean machine on longest yard except without their redeeming qualities. Anywhere. All it started with the fans that would go the players all the way up to the owner's box. I mean, you think about the contrasting styles of Al Davis and Pat Bowlen. You know, Al Davis is the one out there proclaiming, just win baby in his track suit, while Pat Bowlen just What his team do the talking on the field and just win. Wearing his fur coat. And being a pillar of the Denver community while out, Davis moved his team to what other what whatever California city would have them that day. There were basically NFL vagrants, right? Um I was thinking about this and and we Have this discussion every time this game rolls around, and we have a similar conversation when the Broncos play the Chiefs going on so much of it with the Chargers. You know the rivalry. How alive and well is it? And I heard some comments from Jon Gruden that I want to play for you that I think kind of encapsulate What I think the status of this rivalry is here's Jon Gruden. Ah, you'll hear the question he's asked about. His favorite memory or something to that effect of the rivalry with the Denver Broncos great rivals to the Raiders, and they have any stories with the Broncos and you can share with us. Do I remember when I was just hired to be the coach.

The team is still slated to face the chargers Sunday. Will change the game and we're all but that's just my guess is as the Minnesota Vikings Linebacker Todd Davis on their covid reserve was not yet impacting Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers Fox's Matt. Broncos running back Melvin Gordon cited for DUI

"Melvin Gordon just got a Dui did and the Patriots may or may not have cam. Newton. So good luck job go ahead. Yeah. Let's. Let's start with the broncos because the story for the broncos. A number one is we'll drew lock play that's number one but the story for the broncos. was going to be what would the rotation look like with Melvin Gordon and Philip Lindsey now, the question becomes is Vic Fangio going to discipline Melvin Gordon. Normally the NFL waits until the investigation is over to hand out discipline for things like that but that doesn't prevent the team from doing so so let's see if it does Melvin Gordon get benched as you know the old college coach thing he said a quarter you know does he sit a half does exhibit game I don't know that's something we're going to have to research this week so I would bump up personally Philip Lindsay on my personal depth chart if I had him just on the hunch that big could move on. And and. Put Melvin disciplined him. Somehow they're not gonNA cut him but like disciplined him somehow.

NFL fines three head coaches $100K each for not wearing masks on sidelines

"Up weak, too. Showcasing Las Vegas league was coming down hard on those Who haven't been following protocol. Last week, NFL sent out a strongly worded memo that said coaches had to wear masks on the sidelines and the NFL felt like there were three coaches that didn't do it this weekend. Vic Fangio, Denver Call Shanahan, San Francisco. And Pete Carroll in Seattle. It find each those head coach is $100,000 and find each of those teams $200,000 over a million dollars in fines for not wearing mess and the league might not be done after watching tonight's game, ESPN insider Adam Schefter, noting the three coaches who have been fined. Drew Lock lost to Broncos between 2-6 weeks after Steelers defeat

"News Radio Times 10 0 to the Broncos lost to the Steelers 26 21 today, falling tow on two on the season. They also lost their starting quarterback to injury in the first quarter. Jew Lock will have more tests on his injured throwing shoulder Monday. There are reports he could miss 2 to 6 weeks back up. Quarterback Jeff Driskel threw two touchdown passes, including one to running back Melvin Gordon in the fourth quarter school in the pocket floats. One up is that Gordon in the end zone, Gordon goes up makes the catch and he's got a Denver touchdown, Driscoll says. Even though back Quarterbacks don't get a lot of reps in practice. They still need to be ready to go. Being a backup in the NFL is you have to be ready to go without getting those wraps and everybody understands that And it's not an excuse for You know for not executing coach Vic Fangio talked about the team's mindset. Broncos coach apologizes after suggesting NFL free of racism

"Broncos head coach Vic Fangio says remarks he made yesterday about racism and discrimination in the NFL were wrong these were the comments that got national attention I don't see racism at all in the NFL I don't see discrimination in the NFL to be fair Fangio said racism issues were minimal and he talked about the dynamics of an NFL team we all live together joined as one for one common goal and we all intermingle in mixed tremendously you know if the society reflected an NFL team we'd all be great Fangio's original statement was met with strong comments on Twitter ranging from what in the hell were you thinking too

"Going to predict. With stunning accuracy like last year and the year before with Lamar Jackson when joy. Invests for last a quarterback wins his first game science to. There's a science to it. So. Let's go to the first. quarterback picked Joe Borough Cincinnati Bengals. This is the easy one. So people like Joe Borough I think he's a good prospect entering a brutal division. He's GonNa lose to the chargers. Cleveland and Philadelphia Open. These are elite defensive fronts. But I do believe at home against the Jacksonville team that is rebooting. Don't call it tanking. It's rebooting. It'll be only one of only maybe four or five wins I think that's an easy one. I think Joe Bros I win is against the Jacksonville Jaguars week for the NFL. Let's go to number five pick dolphins now. Ryan Patrick. According to Mike Garafolo Fitzpatrick's starter. That's a story at the. He's the starter. So Fitzpatrick has a history of playing very well early. He'll beat New England New England. Bella checks worst month is September. Fitzpatrick's best month is September. He also is a veteran quarterback. Who's faced ballot check many times. I think Miami then splits buffalo beat. Pizza loses at Jacksonville wins. Then they have Seattle and San Francisco. They lose both the coaching staff in Miami will strongly consider starting to at Denver. You're going to talk shows in Miami. Let's go. Were two and three. Let's go. Let's get to in the coaching staff, knowing Denver and that. Altitude and VIC FANGIO is not an ideal start. They'll start him the following week at home against the chargers, they will not win that game. It's to his start chargers. Defense is the re the best secondary in the NFL. But to his I win will be week eight against the rams at home remember. Previous week the rams play Monday night football short week. The week after that game, the rams have off. Are they overlooking Miami with a losing record rams will have a winning record. To US I win will be over the La Rams at home in week eight. Now just in Herbert. Number six went to the charter. tyrod Taylor is the starter I am told they're all in on him. And tyrod, this'll be interesting. He'll open at Cincinnati with a win. Lose to Kansas City beat Carolina. That have a two game losing streak at Tampa at New Orleans. The staff will stick with a have committed to him and he'll go on a four game winning streak, tyrod and the chargers beat the jets beat Miami. Beat Jacksonville and beat the raiders. Then, there's they're feeling good about themselves. They'll Denver in Buffalo. Lose both on the road. And the chargers staff and Anthony Lynn will go. We are six and five. We are struggling against the better defenses. We have faced which is Tampa New Orleans Denver Buffalo. It's time. They come back at home against New England. Now check is great at home against rookie quarterback's. His record isn't as devastating devastating on the road against younger quarterbacks and Justin Herbert gets his first win week. Thirteen at home remember the chargers staff is in tyrod Taylor, but they're gonNA look at Kansas, city pulling away from them. My prediction is Denver's a wildcard team. They're six and five. They get New England at home and the schedule is very manageable and they're going to say. Let's go and give Justin the team in week thirteen any wins. And, finally the number twenty six overall pick Jordan love now, barring an injury Aaron Rodgers will play. All seventeen weeks. But I know he will start. At some point. And I look at that division I. Think let's see who's not well run. And who will I know beyond Bay schedule? So I am predicting that Jordan love will beat the Detroit Lions in twenty twenty two. I'm guessing it's at Lambeau I know they play them and I know they're not well run, and they'll probably have a new coach, and perhaps a new GM and the same old owner. So in review. Joe, borough wins week four against Jacksonville. To US I win is week eight against the rams. Justin Herbert's first win is week thirteen against new, England and Jordan love wins in two years against Detroit. Like it. So, DO I. Start Your Day with him. Dr, Star, check it out. Andrew Start Dot com nutrition supplements feels great had a couple of days ago. All Right, I'm off tomorrow and Friday. Joy Friday a good show. Tonight really moved in, was it? "But pass rushers in Baltimore and Pittsburgh so this is not an anti Baker thing. All T even with Mahomes in his so much harder on your ole line to ask them to pass block thirty four times I do feel like though. I can't decide if I'm selling selling my brown stocks to earlier not. Because I thought they would make the playoffs last year. I was very wrong. And you know when I when I put some stock in the Browns, and I'm wrong. It's like an extra job because I should know better right. But now this year, circumstances are a lot different Peter. King doesn't like him. I don't know I just I just feel like. I WANNA believe, but every time I do that. It's the same thing it's me. In the Atlanta Falcons at some point have been burned so many times for the Atlanta Falcons. I just quit. You're going to finish third maybe fourth. Going to quit the Falcons. Options are going to win a couple of games this year. I know it. Owner I like the GM I like the quarterback and I'm usually okay with their coach so I'm always like Aa. Eleven games burned. Burned every time burn with Atlanta and. That's how I feel about. The the CBS sports rank the best shooters in NBA history and the splash brothers are at the top of the list Steph, the number, one spot and clay is number two. Followed by Ray Allen Larry, bird, in Reggie Miller. How do you feel about that? Top Five? Well Larry was in a generation where only shot threes a game so I. Think I've said this before. There are certain players in my life that would like Lebron would be good at any generation so it magic MJ, you know. Certain. People like Brady would have been great now than you know. Larry Bird I. Think would be elevated in today's game over his game. Because he was an unbelievable shooter in the League, he was a forward so I think Larry's better than people think Reggie Miller is a very interesting player. Reggie Miller in his sister are like a basketball brand and he's been a broadcast, or he was hugely important NBA Games and he was often great in those games, but Reggie could be a very hot and cold player, and that is not to say. He wasn't great, but he was great in spots, so it's not that he's overrated, but I wouldn't put them in my top five because Reggie. He was a big shot maker. He was just his look his personality. His battles spike. Lee. You know he's playing against the Knicks. He's playing against 'em. Jay I I I think Larry Bird's little low and I. Don't know what to do with Reggie Miller. I so Kevin, durant is eight. I don't know so. They have Dirk Nowitzki Turkish nine, so they've Kyle Korver six. he doesn't have a lot of big shots to me the Nash now. No Steve Nashes below korver. Yeah, yeah I'd put nat see. You gotTa have big. Know Reggie's big shots I. Don't love is consistency. He'd be in my top ten. Nash Way more consistent than Kyle Korver, who can do it? But how many big shots does Korver have in his career like memorable bigshots? "Doesn't see it at all in the NFL. I disagree with that. I thought it was a little tone. Deaf. I imagine it was a topic on your show. What are your thoughts on it? My my thoughts are in context I understand what he's saying that the NFL's talk, and for you to get an opportunity to play in the NFL. You gotta earn it like everything you've gotta earn it, and it's that way inside a locker room. It's that way you don't from player to player. We know that it doesn't matter what color your skin is where the background is where you went to school. It doesn't matter if you went to a little school EDYTA. Idaho, or whether with Uber She Alabama. If you can play, you're gonNA. Get the opportunity to play. That's how it works inside the locker room, and that's how it works. You know from the WHO the coaches pick to to play. Now Remember Vic Fangio's be coaching for forty two for forty years forty plus years. I think thirty two of the NFL and like he's been a coordinator for twenty plus years in the NFL one of the best coordinators gist got his first opportunity to be a head coach last year, so he's been passed over a million times. Himself, so I mean I look at it more like conceptually. He's talking about your opportunity to get on the playing field. He understands you know. He understands that there is some racism. There is some some issues. At least the NFL has dealt with it, or at least try to deal with it, maybe not perfectly, obviously not, but at least they've acknowledged in are trying to do things to. To to fix, know not that you'll ever fix everything, but at least try so i. look at it more of a context issue young. Vic Fangio's old school. That way and there's some there's been plenty of thanks. He said as adcose with Denver broncos that have gone over exceptionally well with people inside the organization, and and that's part of. That's part of the charm of VIC. Fangio is like he's GonNa say what's on his mind, but e context I think it was more about your opportunity on the football field and play as a player. A couple minutes left. How good a shape! Could you be in today as an NFL player with not as like I. Think of you as a lifter i. Could jog around the neighborhood or have a treadmill, but like how good of shape could you have been in with no Ta's and camps pushback. I think it's really hard. Calm. The only thing that you can do to get yourself in shape to play football to play football so regardless you're gonNA. You're going to be able to create a baseline of being in shape, but the kinesthetic we go into the kinesthetic awareness, the the the pro reception skills of one guy against another guy. You don't push it on people doing all those things that can only be replicated through playing football, and so anytime you go into training camp. Camp you're not. GonNa be in quote. Unquote football shape until you start actually playing football and in today's game, even in the OTA's. They can't do that anymore. Because you're not allowed, you know. We circumvented the rules. When I played like there was, it was a full go full-contact no pads in and if he didn't like it. You don't have to be here. That's the way it worked. It's different today. Right so I think that nobody really is shaped when they get to camp. In include football shape, and less so today than than back in my day, so I think it's exceptionally up and now that the came out with a we're not gonNA have these joint practices anymore that that's not gonNA happen it makes it that much more difficult for these teams to really get themselves ready to play this upcoming season bought by forty five seconds here. How many things are open in Denver are restaurants where you guys at? Were just outside of Denver. So. We're in the BURBS but. Like, everything restaurants have opened, but it's more limited seating limited capacity, only fifty percent of capacity, and most of it is outdoor type seating right now. Also there are a lot of things that are open. Still they're still the masks in the suggested fast, and all those things that are being required a you know pretty much required to go into grocery stores and restaurants in those things, but things are slowly opening up here in Denver stuff mark have a great weekend and rest of your week. I'm off tomorrow. I'm going to hang out and do some hiking and whatever I do, but go xenia. Take Care All right March Sarah. Yeah it's. We opened up in our little town for like a day and then it closed down again. Because of the protests, so you know towns are. So. It's been a rough few months for.

"NFL analyst the coward global. Satellite Network in his home in beautiful. Colorado, all right pro football focus top fifty players. They didn't have an offensive lineman in the top five Clinton. Nelson, but no Aaron Rodgers mark. What did you make of that? Is Two things. There's two issues. Okay. One always put quarterbacks in a different category like that I. Don't consider them like football players like their their quarterbacks, and they play football. They play the most important role in football, but I was going to put them in their own category, but it. We're putting quarterbacks in your top fifty players over all to not have Aaron. Aaron Rodgers in the top fifty. It's a stupid list. It's listed has no merit to because Eh Rogers. Let's not forget that Aaron Rodgers was the best off platform. Throw that we ever seen the most accurate off platform floor that we'd ever seen in football until Patrick, mahomes a Unicorn came a law. So are we forgetting how good this guy is by the way. Way here's a guy that's going to the hall of fame that has thrown a total of one touchdown. Two first round draft picks over the course of his career, and that first rounder was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in Mercedes Lewis. It's not like they put a plethora of number one weapons around the guy. He is a phenomenal football player and and for him. Him Not to be on this list is to me is just it's a stupid list. That's what it comes down to troy. Aikman said this week. He thinks the cowboys roster stacks up with virtually anyone I. Don't I think San Francisco New Orleans more Kansas City I think my problem with is they have some really high end players, and then a bunch of holes. Corner Center Safety. Interior Defensive Line I don't think it's a top five top six roster. I look this morning I headed about eight nine your thoughts. I think probably there are four five rosters that I put above them maybe six or seven rosters that I put above them, but the bottom line is do they have enough talent to win an NFC championship. Absolutely do have of talent to to to go to go to super bowl. I think there's no question. It's more than talent though it comes down. Down to coaching, it comes down to organizational structure. It comes down to all those things that really separate you from being a good football team to a great football team a great book, Balti- tune exceptional football team. Talent is a big part of it. There is no question but talent that is it connected talent that is sacrificing for one another talent that. That is on the same page. A complimentary does nothing for you, so the Dallas cowboys are not. It's not a talent issue with their team more than it is an organizational structure issue with their football team. That's what's keeping them from winning NFC east championships and going to championship games by the way you're a very popular radio show in Denver in the. The mornings one of the highest sports talk radio morning shows maybe the highest Larrikin Evans one zero four point three, the fan in Denver I imagine a topic this morning. It was leading. My show is Vic Fangio who I think can be well meaning, but he said there's no racism. He doesn't see it at all in the NFL. I disagree with that. I thought it was a little tone. Deaf. "Text here, you know that fighter just engaging the new UFC fighter love. I'm going to get him on the show next week. That's exciting. Yeah, he is just a bag of wrench man when he punches. Just Bang you. You really loved that. that. This weekend to Yup not that that was one of the best UFC cards and I have great respect for the UFC because. There was so many reasons. Why would not work I mean this is why I get frustrated with the NBA? They'RE GONNA play July thirty first. UFC's already had a car like tweet two three weeks ago. Like let's go. Let's get on it. I want to start the show with that So there are the NBA is GonNa. Play July thirty first. It's twenty two teams. It's complicated. They have an emergency destination. It feels a little gimmicky. They're trying to figure out what to do like. If you're a one C like Milwaukee, and you worked hard to be a one seed. What advantages do you get now? There's no homecourt. Here's some of the things they've talked about. The higher seeded team would be awarded the first possession of the second third and fourth quarters, following the traditional jump, all the higher seeded team being allowed to. One player to be able to be whistled for seven instead of. The higher seeded team being able to transport their actual hardwood home court from their arena to Orlando. Oh Good Hell John Woche came out with other things. Today you WANNA throw a couple of these gyms out there. Sure this took some deciphering so they're inviting extra teams that are close to making the playoffs to Orlando and then for playoff seeding. If the ninth seed is more than four games behind the eighth number, eight will make the playoffs, but if it's fewer than four games, they'll have a plan tournament, but then the plan format requires a double double elimination format for the eighth seed and a single elimination for the ninth seed. Okay My head is on fire. Gimmicky complicated. Don't don't complicate things for sports. Fans like you just gotTa. Keep things were were simple, were simple men here just just first down in ten third down in one. We can't give too much. One person can save this season one Lebron James. You're going to go head to head with the NFL college. Football Baseball playoffs you gimmicky. And I have I have sympathy for the NBA The pandemic hit in the middle of the season I. have sympathy for it. But, when we talk about most valuable player, he's an executive. He's the face in the league. He's a coach on the floor. He engineers player moves. He's the best player. It's not just about twenty seven points and eight assists for Lebron James. Like this is the classic example you can see leadership and value in crisis. Right like that's when you see it. You can be a senator congressman, but when you're state in trouble, that's when you see of somebody's frankly capable or completely over their skis. Look at what the League is going through a pandemic seventy percent through their season. Very smart people these are billionaire owner owners, and this is Adam silver. You have the smartest executives smart people. This thing is a complicated flimsy gimmicky. One thing here they're saying. The top seed should be able to pick their hotel rooms. That is a benefit of being adopting. Bring your floor in from Memphis. Lebron can save the season. Lebron plays well get to the finals games on Wednesday. I'm watching. In. You're saying. Are you saying the MVP because TV ratings? What I'm saying is the burden on Lebron James No other player faces it. No other player has to absolutely do an interview after every game. No other player has to let no other player is in conversations regularly with the GM on personnel moves. That's that's Lebron needs to be his style of play dictated. His greatness dictates it. He's he's like everybody he. He's got his flaws MJ. His flaws. Bird magic had their flaws, but just the sense of valuable. This is one of the things that I've said it's it's funny. The people vote on the is awards. They don't read the words in the award. It's not best stats. Most triple doubles coolest stat line, its most valuable player in the league. Lebron's been the vibe apparently for decades. Now steph curry. Deserve some boats. Don't get me wrong. Steph curry is really valuable and by the way Steph Curry's value to me. Has Been Beyond basketball his ability to be selfless. Why would we not count that invaluable? Selfless over selfish. You don't think that. That doesn't matter at all like this is a team game. Like Michael Jordan didn't win without Pippen Phil. Jackson like this idea that it's a stat line or a triple double, not not valuable comes in many forms I've said this about quarterback play. Russell Wilson talked about this. It took about year three. The light goes on. You see the plays before they happened. You see the defense. You see the audible you stop thinking at quarterback. It just comes naturally to you, I'm not. GonNa Count that that's why I say today to win a football game. I, still think for about one more year. I could choose Russell Wilson over mahomes. Russell's better at the line of scrimmage. Today. Now mahomes maybe more talented. But I think Russell Pre snap because he's been in the league longer could see things at this point. Russell may not quite know yet because you know. He's Human Tom Brady it took him years and years, and then after the Atlanta Super Bowl. He talked Jay Glazer. He's like it sets point. There was nothing I haven't seen. You can throw anything at me. I've seen every coverage. I've seen every bullets package so I think we forget the value. You know I've said this about presidents. Presidents never get credit. For the disaster, they avoid. It's the same with Lebron. Lebron is so great. He doesn't get credit. For the issues that would surface with a selfish player with a less talented player with a player that doesn't have his basketball. I Q his understanding of people and how he relates and distributed elevates. Kyrie irving him. Were great and had their issues, but it's really interesting to watch Lebron Post Kyri and Kyri Post Lebron Lebron kind of making it all work. Have you look at the Lakers roster? Interesting odd group of disparate parts I mean the first team he had and today's teams. There's no same players like Kikoko SBA. It's just to coach. It's new players. It's new assistance. And after the number one seed in the West, he just makes everything work it just all the little things you could have go wrong. Lebron sort of cinches them up, and they all fit in, and now they're great boom. The clippers have a better roster, but they don't have the chemistry. That the Lakers had when this laker season started almost all new players. The first thing join I said was. Got It like three games in your like it works. Like overnight like Lebron change positions it works. Is that not valuable like I. Don't get the people voting on this stuff. What is valuable mean? It has to mean beyond stat, line. On everybody just stares at rebounds and points, Lebron goes. He's the only guy going to say this season. Otherwise, the world series is going to be the finals. College football is GONNA crush it. The NFL is going to destroy it. Golf tournaments may beat it. He'll say the season. Chris. HANES WILL BE STOPPING BY COMING UP NEXT I, O. Say this. There are some great mysteries in the world. I don't understand. Mysteries I don't have an answer for DB Cooper..

"Sponsored by Mercedes, Benz, the best or nothing. Let let me start with this. The PRO football focus their list is it's fine. I don't have any real. I'm glad they put. George Killen I actually think he fits the culture I think he's A. He's Gronk Ish. But Aaron Rodgers not top fifty. What's your reaction to that? The Florida pro football focus is not in. Is Not in their evaluation is there player grades are simply for media fodder. That's all it is I. Mean Aaron Rodgers not being top city player in the NFL is. A joke. It's a joke. It makes the rest. A list kind of stupid like doesn't doesn't matter what else you say if you don't have Aaron Rodgers the top fifty player, because if we were to start selecting a football team today. You ask any general manager in the NFL. He might not be the first player taken. He would definitely one of the top five players taken, so look some of some of what you portrayed as the packers offensive issues. Are Accurate. I I completely disagree with Greg Cosell I know he's watching film, and he says the you know that this is why they made the quarterback draft pick of Jordan. It's not weather made the pick. Because? He's thirty six and in two years, we'll see if he stays at this level if he improves would more time in this offense and if they went thirteen games. He's he's one of the two or three best quarterbacks in football now reasonable people know there's GonNa be some decline and when this contracts, some of that money comes off the books. They're going to do what the packers have always done. which is hopefully having heir-apparent there, but that has nothing to do with their current level of contentment with number twelve. So to me if you have Aaron Rodgers now as the top fifty player in the NFL you're listening stupid, we can't pay attention to it even if we pay attention to the other data that you have outside of the player ranking, so they're gonNA. There's twenty two team format. It does feel it does account. Do you think he's not a top fifty player? I haven't. I haven't been I. I have in my. or If. You're asking me best quarterbacks in the league. If I started a franchise today I'd start with Mahomes and Russell Wilson I'm I'm a huge Carson Wentz Fan, but there's injuries I have to consider I. DO THINK Lamar Jackson? We'll take another step in his development and easy younger, and hasn't been hurt, but I don't think any reasonable person can put Aaron below like four or five and I would say ahrends, health and aged and I think he declined the last couple of years, but I think he's a top six quarterback, and they had six quarterbacks. Make the list earn wasn't one of them so. The, criticism is valid. But I would push back and I do believe errands gotten a little safe in the last couple of years could be a lot of reasons think he holds a little long. He throws it away too much and I think those are reasonable criticisms. I think the reasonable criticisms. I also think it's reasonable to think that when you've been in the NFL as long as he's been in the NFL, he understands that the football over and forcing things which was the farthest way is no longer the way in the NFL, and if you don't like what you get rid of it, live to play another day right and if you ask people that actually watch their games last year a big reason they were thirteen in three as opposed to nine and seven. Was Aaron Rodgers doing other worldly stuff right when he had to, so he does. Does play it safe when he can and when he can't. That's when he lets it rip. So you know and let the flaws to. This team were apparent. They're bad matchup with the San Francisco. Forty niners I'm not sure there's much. He could have done about that because they couldn't stop the run and you're playing with your possessions, and you know they they don't have anybody. Take the top off the defense, but I don't think your criticism is wrong but I think there's a logic to it and I would I. would disagree in terms of Lamar, Jackson like there's nobody. Has did what they do. Take the League by storm. Absolutely, but people are going to just do it. He's going to have to have a second pitch down. We'll see if that continues to improve I know. You're infatuated with Russell Wilson. I would take Aaron Rodgers ahead of Russell Wilson. I wonder what the seahawks would outside of Mahomes. I can't think of anybody else less Russell Wilson. Who Anybody would have a? A conversation about in terms of right now in the NFL fair, so the NBA is going with twenty two teams. It feels like it was a way to get Zion in whatever you do, agree with my assessment that they did Zion's star. We liked him. We watched the Summer League game in part of its. Do you like the twenty two game format, and do you think some of it is to get on? I. Yes, I think that's an ancillary benefit is getting in and getting Damian Lillard in and getting some more stars in, but there's a lot more at play. They need a volume of games for their TV. Partners, but they also what they really need is ramp up games. You can't go zero to a hundred and play at playoff level intensity, and because they can't really have exhibition games, and they can't have those bottom teams that have. Have shut down for the year. Play like the just money losers. Now you include some other teams like everybody's got a shot. They don't really have a shot. Look the team that gets screwed in this thing as Memphis, they earned the right to be the eight seed. Now they're just one of the teams, whereas they're three and a half up on Portland. who was injured, but also didn't play well for a good portion of the season. Nobody cares about Memphis apparently in the NBA League office in terms of the grand scale of things I think the fascinating thing is that they're going head up with the US Open. Playoff Baseball College football NFL football and I understand that traditionally that's when People Watch TV as opposed to July and August but man. It could be really really bad if their numbers pale in comparison to football, which is king, and then we're not even talking about the other events which are all going to be. The NFL likes to think of itself as on. On the rise we will truly see. It's level of importance in the grand scheme of things when it has to go head up with college football, NFL Football Nascar Golf all of these other events, which we played all exact same troy majority. Good at his job I think he's as good as anybody in in our business in analyzing football. He says smart stuff for three hours all the time. Great Chemistry with Joe Buck. But I do disagree with his assertion this week that the cowboys roster is as good as anybody in my takeaway is. I can look at the chargers roster outside quarterback and I think they're capable at quarterback I. I don't see holes I can look at a lot of rosters. I don't see holes with Baltimore. I don't see I. Mean Seriously I! Don't see him. Was Incredible Roster but I look at Dallas when I see four or five great players, three or four other really good players but safety corner, center. You know edited defensive tackle I. Don't think the cowboys have a good roster which is thin with a handful of. We just watched them so much, Doug. We like what we watch and they're on television so I think the roster's Tang. TATT overrated your thoughts. I agree with you I. Agree with you on your assessment. Troy I thought in terms of broadcasting. He took his game to another level to share news outstanding but I think it's one of those things when you see the cowboys and you get to know their names. You assume that they're that much that they're that much better. How the Hell can they win that division? Division last year you know. How did that happen? I think some of it is you know we like to think that they have this dominant offense of line, but their offensive line isn't what it was a couple of years ago when they won thirteen games, they have age. They have had some attrition. They have had some movement on that offensive line. Look I.

"And everything else so they're going to have to habit in Dallas, or at the or the Frisco Star their training facility there, so nfl players are also not expected to return to their team facilities until training camp, which is another kind of interesting out, so they continue working out of home until training camp because of the murder of George Floyd. Covert has been taken off the cable networks. We had a pandemic. We had not solved it. We do not have a vaccine for it so. Just listen cable networks follow the hot story or the story that is in the moment, the story of note in America the murder of George Floyd is but we still dealing with a pandemic with no vaccine. We're going to put everything into it today. Listen I've given up on the hair I just I don't know what I'm doing, we. Can keep banging on me for the hair. It is what it is I'm keeping it real. This is authentic me. This is me without a comb. Okay, so pro football focus is something I. Follow I, liked the guys there don't always think they're right, but I followed them. They're kind of back in my good graces. They did the top ten NFL players. They rank the top fifty. I'll just give you the top ten. It's not the most valuable. It's not about stats, although stats matter. Aaron Donald of the Rams Number One Patrick Mahomes Jones Atlanta Quinton Nelson Colts George kiddle tied niners. Michael Thomas Six saints. Russell Wilson should be higher, but seven's fine Lamar Jackson Eight de'andre Hopkins Nine. Christian McCaffrey ten. No problem with it I move some people up some people down. Mostly right Aaron Rodgers. Did Not make the fifty. Now. He makes my top fifty I absolutely think he's influential. He has a unique skill set. He's really smart. He runs around. He makes place. He's in my top fifty. But they had three packers in the top fifty. Aaron wasn't one of them. And they use data. and. They had Davante Adams at thirty, eight, forty to tackle David back. The area and forty four was Kenny Clarke by the way they all all make my top fifty two. Aaron would, but he didn't make. There's and it was interesting because this week I have talked about. Why is Aaron Rodgers the last two years led the NFL in throwaways, two different coaches. Why because I think he's protecting his legacy. More than elevating I think he's become a very safe quarterback. The Great Young quarterbacks in this league mahomes and Carson Wentz jump out to me. They are risk takers. They are gunslingers. I think going forward for the young. Young coaches. They are risk takers I think that's the future of the NFL. -servative I think it's more progressive more risk oriented. Than it's ever been and I think a better brand of football. Errands become safer. Far was a gunslinger to the end, but it's interesting when they talk about David Bahktiar tackle one of the things they put in here his he has the hardest pass blocking responsibility of any tackle protecting Aaron Rodgers a quarterback who holds the holds the ball longer than almost all other passers. throwaways holding the ball longer. Paralyzed, by making a mistake or throwing an interception, not just letting it rip like a Mahomes like Carson wentz. Don't tell me it's all about weapons. Carson Winston Avenue Weapons. So this is what we've gone back and forth on, it's not I would have in my top fifty. My point is been I think is easy aged. He's become a safe quarterback I. Don't think maybe it is his DNA I think he's at his best kind. Let her rip plantain afoot, and letting it rip and get some interceptions. This is what Greg Cosell has said on our show now for three straight years. Say What you want about. How in riders a he's super talented. We know that he'll be a hall of Famer, but Aaron Rodgers over the last number of years has evolved, or one could say devolved into a player that plays a lot outside or structure and outside of Rhythm, and when you get a chance to watch the coaching tape as I do and this is not an interpretation. This is what the tape tells you. He leaves a lot of throws on the field within the timing of. Of the offense that are there to be thrown and I guarantee that that bothers medical floor and given the age of Rogers, and and who knows how long ride just comply the age of Rogers and mental floor clearly coming off last season, having probably pretty much carte blanche at this point I think he's looking to say hey. I'M GONNA. Start to put this offense together. The way I wanted to look and will rogers is great. I'm a little frustrated with the way our offense plays out. They draw plays Aaron things. There's too much risk. He throws it away. Holds it too long. What leflore talk about that clip from the rich Eisen show? What did? Matt Leflore recently Santa Press Conference. We're not dynamic enough. PF telling you. They got players. Players this goes back I'm not trying to be right I like getting it right. I see something I observe something I, say something, and then in recent days pro football Focus Matt Leflore. Come out and say yeah. I mean there's there's there's a structure of a play. He won't do what the coaches want. He wants to do it his way. His way to me has become too safe. Here's.

"Vic Fangio may have meant well. But this is all greatness coaches. All of them, it's all born from one thing. Who you know who your friends are who you're connected to. What are your opportunities? It's not a true meritocracy. Either if you listen Ashort, questions, listen to long answers either our country. All right I'm, GonNa go to this as joy said. We are there are hopeful signs we will get sports. In. July. I am a little disappointed in the NBA. They're saying now if the NBA goes to a game seven. It would be October twelfth so the NBA. Unlike baseball has never put its playoffs. Up Against the NFL baseball has asked him. How works if the Yankees are in it? Not Well. Because of budget shortfalls because of our pandemic economic situation. States are now passing legislation on gambling quickly. What does it mean? We Gamble on football. We Watch football more than we've ever watched it. Last year. The ratings went. Even as Our Television Choices Netflix Amazon Prime Hulu are more fragmented. What does that mean? Football's getting bigger and more powerful than ever. We've got an Italian soccer league. They were a hot spot for the virus. They're starting here in a couple of weeks disneyworld opening. Up Vegas is opening up. This seems like the NBA was really concerned about the beginning of the NBA season, and maybe not as concerned about the end date of the season. I'm a married guy, so I have to make choices with sports I mean. My wife understands I'm a sports caster. I have to watch a lot of sports. But I want to remain married, and so there are times I have to make choices. Just to give you an idea. The NBA will be fine if Lebron and the Lakers make the finals. But what if it's Milwaukee and the clippers? Two teams that don't have a national brand Colli Leonard not even overly verbal. Yana says, but we don't follow the bucks nationally. Good luck going up against the monster known as the NFL and college football. College football is king. God world pro football king. Kong we ain't never going to compete with them. We should start the NBA season around Christmas so I think we should show. Seventy five or seventy games Christmas should be the big day like we do every year. We have set five games on Christmas Day that would be a great way to start the NBA season. Why are we starting in the Middle College football season pro football I mean it's just too much going on. "Coach Vic Fangio Chargers in the Broncos coming up here within the hour you look at Los Angeles this year they've battle through some injuries they've had some very close games to be in that respect they're a little similar to to your guys they've been in games and yet haven't really found a way to win the majority of those yes there has been some similarities to our seasons you know both from a record standpoint and you know the losses that they've experienced have had some similarities to us yeah they're very talented football team you know last year there were twelve and for a split with the chiefs won a playoff game and they basically have the same team they're getting might be getting there when James back today they have a really good pass rush they got a really good group of skilled players on offense led by rivers and their two backs and receivers so I mean yeah there four and seven but the you know it's hard to believe their foreign seven when you're watching it let's talk a little bit about Philip rivers to me he just sort of continues you when he when he came out of North Carolina state he had that funky delivering a lot of people thought like well we're not sure what sort of success this guy's going to have but beat honestly he's been one of the league's best quarterbacks I think during his entire career yeah he still has that same deliver and it's sort of them very well he still plan at a very very high level I mean much has been made of the amount of interception see strong lately but about four of those one was a really a sack that a D. Lyman caught the ball in the air they called it an interception he's thrown three in the fourth quarter when he's just taken trying to make something happen in a come back type of situation for them I don't see that that as he's thrown seven really interceptions and he still really really good he can dissect you he's good at the line of scrimmage getting in and out of places as has the freedom not able and he knows this offense video you mentioned getting some of the skills get skill guys back Melvin Gordon is back you can play the first game when you look at Gordon and act were sort of took the change of pace back with two guys that are really versatile yeah Gordon he actually did play a few plays in our first game but now he's back to looking like the Melvin Gordon everybody's used to saying he didn't have his legs under him at that point and now he's the last few weeks he's running hard showing his versatility both in the passing game in the running game and they've got to really get back to me a couple things that you'd like to get done today to get a win well we can you know not give up big plays on defense and try and do a better job on the run ostensibly you know we got a bill moved the ball to get some first downs get some explosives mix than there and do a good job in the red zone and try to score some points because these guys are gonna probably scores on themselves okay good luck today that all right thank you that's the Vic Fangio show presented by Marist our casino resort spa black **** as you play with my choice new my choice members now get a guaranteed thirty dollars after signing up the L. joy this next with his big matchups coming up on the K. way Broncos radio network take Colorado Chas onus IV and I've got a quick question for you what would you do if you could avoid getting a cold or flu this year would you spend more time with family and friends maybe climb a fourteener maybe you take up curling you know you've been putting that off.

"V. offense improving. we are seeing it a little bit maybe not as much as you like to see nearly a month into the season but we're seeing improvement. meanwhile the defense is not. getting better. and the most caving thing that can be said about last night you know it yesterday it's almost like we can play this clip from Aaron Rodgers and then I can just pack it up nothing else needs to be said about the state of the Broncos defense then what Aaron Rodgers had to say after the game and how clean he was. I have to say this is one of the cleanest games my Jersey has ever loved I took basically one shot at the ground one time. so I'm ecstatic I mean I've been at this for a long time and they go home. on the with my body feeling this good is a credit to the offense of line for sure Tom feel really good and I'm gonna. you know probably have a little. scratching. look it's in Philly tape. is that the new version Netflix in jail like I mean I I I'm assuming it sure will come out in Green Bay have a Scotch you want to delete tape. but nothing any of us can say. is more harmful to the Denver Broncos then what Aaron Rodgers just set. Aaron Rodgers someone who expects to get ahead he hangs on to the ball long he tries to make plays with his legs he expects to get knocked down he expects to get hit in the fact that he came away from this game almost in shock. that he was put on the ground once. is the nicest way. to throw up two middle fingers to the Broncos defense that's where Rogers did yesterday with that comment. he flipped the double bird eighties like you guys the even touch me yesterday. and that is a problem so now we go okay bad quarterbacks we go mediocre quarterback week one bad quarterback we too great quarterback week three so we've had all different types of quarterbacks we've had quarterbacks who have quick drop backs him releases we have a quarterback in our Rogers that likes to run around and hang on to the football either way it is yielded the same results which are no results. no turnovers no sacks. no substantial amount of quarterback pressures. and now this is starting. two goal on Vic Fangio here. I held out for two weeks. and I didn't want to put anything on Vic Fangio but I feel like I have to today. because Vic Fangio is a defense of guy. and if the one thing that we are not seeing improvement in is the defense. that has to lay at the feet of Vic Fangio. and if Vic Fangio needs to take away power from a Donna tell. then he needs to do it whatever he needs to do he needs to do it. because the offense is going to putter along and it's going to get a little bit better as we go on. it's not the offense is gonna be good enough against Jacksonville. the rate that the offense is improving. is not. I not to beat Jacksonville. that all the sun is turned back into sacks of bill. it's not gonna be good enough the defense has to show up on Sunday and put pressure on garner midship. and right now there for their next sack will be their first and their necks interception will be their first. and we're three weeks into this thing. and in addition to the Erin Rogers comments. I know he's being glib but listen to Vic Fangio when he was asked about the answers that are there on both the defense of side and the offense. our own three that's our record that's a fact I do see a lot of good out there not enough when we're not doing this. the nafta good things that the good teams that when do you know which is protect the ball had been a problem in the first two games it was today we're not getting the ball turned over as everybody has alluded to. and we're not stopping them enough. and if they're not stopping them enough. Vic Fangio defensive genius needs to step in and do it. the defense struggles are now at the feet of Vic Fangio the offense we're seeing it slowly but surely. maybe not so surely but we're seeing it slowly. but the defense has to improve overnight they can not go another week. without getting any pressure on the quarterback because I've already interacted with some of you on Twitter before we started the show. look at the rest of the Broncos schedule look at some of the games that you thought were may be. war war games that they could win. I'm seeing a lot of talk about the Broncos win their next three games to get the three and three and all will be right with the world are you sure about that. Titans and Jaguars are both among the top ten defenses in the NFL. and there are still problems on the offense of side namely Joe Flacco holding the football like it's a baby he's forced to give up for adoption you don't want to get rid of the thing. so you have to top ten defenses. that are coming in to empower field over the next three weeks then you look longer term the colts. culture pretty good. colds are pretty good and then you have buffalo is three you know Detroit hasn't lost yet. now all of a sudden the ones that you thought were for sure wins whether you thought the Broncos would be only three two one one three you know wanted to. some of the other games you thought they would win or all of his son they're up in the air or they look like losses. this this Denver teams not gonna going to buffalo and win. so yes there are improvements on the offense of side. but the offense is improving quick enough to combat the level of defense is that the Broncos are facing over the next few weeks it is going to be difficult for them but where the opportunity lies is on the defensive side and right now the Broncos have No Way answers on that side of football two eight six zero zero four sit.

"I thought Mason Rudolph all good it from what I saw just looking at the numbers this morning in the first half half with primarily big Ben I know he departed at about the two or three minute mark of the second quarter or with a two or three two or three minutes remaining in the second quarter rather but you look at the first first half steelers four point three yards per play forty two percent success rate with Big Ben in the second half five point nine yards per play fifty two percent success rate with Mason Rudolph off. He looked pretty capable. There's a reason they moved dobbs so I think you know things. Look a little better for the steelers offensively. The problem album is Mike. Tomlin's defense fell apart in the second half gave up eight point eight yards per play in the second half once. Big Ben goes out right. It's on you Mike Tomlin. It's on your defense inst- to step up and shoulder that increased load instead they regressed right in the eight point eight yards per place in the second half doesn't include the the monstrous pass interference appearance. Call there on edmunds for additional thirty eight yards so steelers. This is kind of the fear we had. We kind of just assumed roomed. It said Hey lady on bell didn't play all of last year no Biggie they seem to make up for that but all of the losses on offense Mike check the offensive line coach. Now you're dealing with James Caan as well left with a knee injury. We'll talk to Dr Trial about that. One see what he says now. You're on the road traveling across the country face San Francisco. It's going to be interesting to see. It sounds like you'll be Mason Rudolph under center yeah very very interesting to see how some of these things kind of play themselves goes out and you always wonder how these teams rebound with some key faces that may or may not be there and of course the steelers staring down the barrel of that Owen to start. We'll see if they can get things corrected as you alluded to their trip on the road to San Francisco but as is the right of oddsmakers and better like you typically see overreactions in week two by the time you get to week three or starting to get a better sense of who some of these teams are and identify how these numbers need to be set figuring out for some of those situational edges so when we look at the look ahead lines for next week pay not a ton of overreaction in the market by any stretch you do have the packers on a look ahead number go for six and a half point favorite now to more than a touchdown touchdown chalk against the Denver Broncos who have to wipe themselves up off the deck knowing they let a glorious opportunity against Chicago bears. Get away from spot on Denver had their heart's ripped out. There obviously not going to have their early season altitude advantage here like they had a week ago. There's whispers within the locker room not all the players. Here's Love Vic Fangio's old school coaching style. If you start doing oh or you win a game like that and you're one and one suddenly players let that slide by but when you're in two you now you're an eight point underdog on the road. Let's see if they can overcome that once. Leflore script were off though for Green Bay and the Vikings woke up the packers offense was back to sucking again and you look into doubt just on the day four point nine yards per play for for the green offense the final three quarters the packers offense averaged three point two yards per play a forty percent success rate and Rogers had zero explosive passes fastest final three quarters so still some things to figure out offensively. They're for Green Bay came out with their hair on fire much much Dr Chagrin but that was kind of after the first quarter the the pace and the output we we kind of handicapped and projected there for the Green Green Bay offense yeah and they even gave were gifted at touchdown for the Minnesota Vikings when they turn the ball over to take that fourteen nothing lead out to twenty one but we're not gonNA cry over spilled. Milk will continue to look get some of the numbers for next week to massive point spreads. That'll remind you a lot more of college football than they will the national football league. I couldn't even tell you in an historical context when you're GONNA see two favorites favorites of this big magnitude pain look ahead number for the patriots thirteen points. Now I know Sam Darnold of course was factored into this look ahead number with him. Being out regardless of how the jets perform tonight against the Cleveland browns you're looking at the pats a seventeen and a half point favorite yes differing numbers on the look ahead. One shop had the look at as low as ten. They actually produced that before the Sam Darnold News obviously so you have patriots than Bennett. They've outscored their opponents now. Seventy seventy six to three you know Antonio Brown is a go. It looks like a real factor and it's not just Sam Darnold. That's going to be down again right. There's other guys that have some injury question question marks for the jets interesting see where this number goes right. I think there's going to be a lot of movement. Obviously it's not open everywhere right now but you know trevor sending in the jets pull off off an upset tonight or if they get blown out this number is going to head in different directions right. I think if the jets get blown out you're probably looking at closer to twenty if they somehow pull off the upset victory probably turning back down towards two touchdowns.

Broncos coach Fangio has kidney stone, works game

"The game the storyline before the game was Vic Fangio having to go to a Cleveland area hospital because he had kidney stone what your view is going to make it to the game but it does make it to the game we get all the great info the kidney stone hasn't passed yet but it's in a better spot you know so you go close to case stone in the holster ready to rock I mean unbelievable and it does not go fit to like what we think of Vic Fangio right now like you think like old school tough guy code we've been talking about how it's the different approach you gotta defensive coordinator coming out that's not part of the shamanic bay tree and then he comes into his first preseason game they're like well no he hasn't passed the kidney stone yet he's just out there on the sideline just suffering through it at one point he said he was I I I think I don't those amazing you gave some good attitude to the drugs that he was on all the actors that is I don't know if you've ever had a Mike I'll it is hain full the kidney cells but that that was the storyline before by the way with Vic Fangio for all the press the bears defense dot last year and my sister sending your daughter walk for the bear right last year so we watched a fair amount of bears football I was last my last night many days old when I realized what Vic Fangio look like really had no idea he has not one distinguishing characteristics he's also usually up in the booth right is also there and he said if the pain got going on the sideline for the kidney stone he was gonna go to both were is very familiar with he's been coaching a hundred thirty seven years and I was finally

What are Chuck Pagano's plans for the Bears defense?

"Now Chuck Pegado he replaces Vic Fazio who went from Chicago to Denver. He is the new defensive coordinator of depth buyers trademark me your thoughts was well. This is the one that this this instigated the article <hes> thinking about Chuck Pagano because you lose Vic Fangio. Who is I think along with Wade Phillips the most most respected affected defensive mind in the game right well bill belichick sort of on an island up there by himself but you know throw in Romeo Coronel is another guy who's respected but we don't really we know what Chuck Pagano is? He had one year defensive coordinator with the Ravens where they finished third in defense with Ray Lewis Ed Reed Terrell suggs and then he went to the the colts and he never really had much town to work with on defense now he's token over a defense that is almost sure to regress to the mean just because they had a sky a high turnover rate loss very few games to injury last year and cannot and fifteen percent of drives with an interception like they did last year especially especially That defense every week to make up for their offense. I felt like an if you're if you're in the situation Pagano. You're going to get blamed from their earliest part of the season. It doesn't go well. Why would I want to take over some for someone who floundered before me you come in and you look on the other hand when you have a chance to work with Cleo Max Akiem Hicks Roquan Smith Dan Danny I mean they're absolutely loaded Jackson Kyle? They are loaded and yet. I think it's a tough spot to go to for for Pagano.

Three NFL Teams Hire Head Coaches

"Gays who'd been the dolphins head coach the last three years made the playoffs once and gets fired after back to back losing seasons. The Browns also have a coach they promote Freddie kitchens to the head job. He became the Browns offensive coordinator this year after the firings of Hugh Jackson and Todd Haley, and candidly, they were just great after he took over the offense and the Broncos higher Vic Fangio the only coaching higher. So far this cycle with a defensive background nineteen years as an NFL defensive coordinator, the last four very highly regarded in Chicago putting together that defense, and of course, Adam Schefter is still working the phone here because we have all their moves other dominoes that are still
