"Today. Against Major League Baseball over the moving of the All Star game from Atlanta to Colorado. I've referred to it as a theft before, and I believe this lawsuit uses that same language. I have read the lawsuit document itself called The Called The Complaint because I'm intrigued is Try a lawyer myself for Last 37 years. I'm intrigued by the legal theory on a moral level is, you know we've had this conversation before This lawsuit was filed on a moral level. I think this is clearly a theft. This is a theft from the good people of Atlanta and Polish and Hancock were accomplices on a moral level. The question is now can this be converted to a legal cause of action? So We're going to be diving into that with Mr Ortiz, who is again President of Job Creators Network, and then after we have that conversation, I want to get back to this very serious allegation that's been made. We'll get back to the Tae Andersen story, But let me go first to the V A T line. Okay. Thank you. Shannon. For that heads up, Elaine, now welcome to the Dan Caplis show. Hey, Dan, How are you? I am great, Thank you and apologize that I don't have a proper introduction in place. I had intended to talk to Mr Ortiz. But we're grateful to have you with us. So let's just start with your role in job Creators Network and then we'll dive into the lawsuit. Sure, I'm the chief communications officer for the job Creators Network and we're in national small business advocacy organization. So we fight for what I what we call Main Street small businesses, and that's exactly what we're doing in this lawsuit. Yeah, and I have talked with our audience before And I think there is widespread agreement that on a moral level, the thistles, the theft, the taking of the All Star game from the good people of Atlanta. Bringing it to Colorado on the false pretense of this Georgia voting rights law. Timmy on a moral level is a theft. But how do you convert that into a viable legal claim against MLB? Yeah, So, so we're obviously we think it's sad that it's come down to this that we've had to file this lawsuit. We certainly tried to have for the last two months conversation. With Commissioner Man Fred. We sent letters to him. We took out full page ads in The New York Times. We put a billboard in Times Square right near his office building on D simply there was no response from Major League baseball. And so we're filing this lawsuit and and now he has no choice, but it's not only listen to us, but he's going to have to be accountable to the businesses of Atlanta because they've been damaged by this decision. On them. We're suing the Major League Baseball and the Players association to right this wrong and demand that they immediately bring the game back to Atlanta or establish a relief fund for all small businesses that been hurt in the amount of $100 million, which is the estimated amount of lost economic activity as a result of this egregious decision. Oh, yeah, And it certainly was that I mean, it was wrong again, I think on every moral level in terms of the legal claim itself from having read the lawsuit that was filed It appears that job creators network is claiming, and it's very intriguing to me. I haven't researched it independently, but claiming that Major league Baseball in the individual teams are state actors because they receive state Financial support and therefore suing them under federal civil rights and similar claims the same way that somebody might sue, for example, law enforcement and so it's. It's a very interesting legal theory, and I'm anxious to see how it plays out. Yeah, I mean, unfortunately, Commissioner Manfred believes that he knows better than the elected officials of Georgia about what the laws in Georgia should be. He didn't like the voter Integrity Act that Georgia legally past when we find in the law by the governor governor, So he decided to punish the Georgia in Georgia business owners by moving the All Star Game out of Atlanta to Denver and this decision much like what you said, basically violated the constitutional rights of Job Creators network and its members in Georgia but also every citizen in the state of Georgia. And unlike private businesses, Hugh mentioned since MLB received billions of dollars from state and local governments. It does make them a state actor, and so they don't have the right to dictate what laws should be in any state. They don't ever right. You know, just like, for instance, the National Park Ranger doesn't have the right to decide who comes into the park, based on their skin color and will be can't decide that they don't want to play the game because they don't like the politics of the state. Yeah, they don't have that. Right. Gonna be fascinating to see how the court rules on this state actor issue. I mean, I get your point. They take all of this public money and and so it'll be interesting to see it. Play out. Do you have a timetable in mind? When when you expect the court tacked on this Well, we've just found the lawsuit last night. So obviously it's making its way through and and there's a process for that as well, Um, you know, but we're continuing to fight on. We'll continue to carry this message. We've been out there, you know, in the media talking about this for the last two months, um, you know, trying to get a smudge supported possible when we continue to have people. Extremely supportive on both sides of the aisle. I mean, the reality is 85% of Americans support voter I d laws on And so, you know, Commissioner Manfred Wade into politics, which you know there's there's no way to understand what was going through his mind when he decided this is a great thing to do for America's favorite sport. Baseball. Let's make it political when all they were simply asking, you know, Essentially they were expanding the voter laws. The voter opportunities is what the Washington Post found. But they did require voter ID. And there's nothing wrong with that. Because you know why Major League Baseball requires ideas. When you go to the box office to get your ticket across the entire country, Every single franchise requires you to have an I D to get your tickets and the reason why says they want to make sure that the right person is picking up the tickets. No, that That's right. The only type of voting they're trying to limit is illegal voting. And so let me end with this question. If I may, and that is, you know we have brainstormed done air here with our wonderful listeners across the state has some type of peaceful, legal creative actions surrounding the All Star game just to try to let the rest of the country know that. Hey, it's not like all of Colorado is good with this. We see it for what it is. It's It's wrong and a moral level. It's a theft. So it is job creators Network. Where have you heard of anybody else? Who's planning any kind of creative, peaceful public actions surrounding our All Star game here? You know, I'm not aware of any of the activities in Colorado. I mean, I think if if we prevail because the reality is and I'll be moved this game in four days, we believe they can move it back just as expeditiously because the city of Atlanta the businesses of Atlanta, they spent the last 21 months Preparing for this game, so they're probably more ready than Denver is, believe it or not, But MLB is it will be to blame for any losses to Denver. You know they violated the civil rights. On Separate apart from the lawsuit issue. I think just on the right and wrong level, Colorado should not have accepted the game, and there's no doubt in my mind that let's say this was happening because of some political issue raised by the right. There's no way in the world, Jared Polish and Michael Hancock would be accepting the game. It's a purely political play by them. And and I think that's very sad, but I am doing my very small part. It's gonna break my heart. But I will not be at the game. We're season ticket holders, so we we would have tickets, but but I myself am not going to go so That means nothing to anybody except me. Um, I mean, you take a look at when they were actually needing to borrow money in the eighties, interest rates were super high. Now that they're retired. Interest rates are at an all time low, So it's like you can't catch a break, You know, but fortune, but back in the day also interest rates on Houses were way up there to exactly remember that when they were loaning, right, they had to take out a loan there to pay enough 10 12 14 16% sure CDs were paying 14 15%, but at that point in time, people were Having a You know, buy mortgages? Yeah, it was so funny. Is that my grandfather? When Jimmy Carter was running for president, I'll never forget. I was up there in Tennessee and Out in the middle of nowhere, and we were sitting in his front room and it was really cute room and he goes Just remember this those pearly white teeth. I think the real estate market is going to come here to a complete halt about the summertime. Just if you take a look at the four parents programs unless the current administration extends that I know there's a lot of people that are in default, and the banks are really looking forward to foreclosing on those properties because they want to get it off their books Right now. It's just a dead asset in there upside down. Yes, definitely going to be an experience for some people. I mean for our clients. Obviously, they're busy booking vacations. They're just excited pick up where they left off in 2019. Completely skipped through 2020 and just hopefully get to the point where people are just forget 2020. It's done. It's over. Good. Perfect. They've been taking withdrawals, and I think you know Requesting money, and I think a lot of people have now are very excited about going to the ball parks. I think that's going to really open things up now for America. It's about time. Well, I think we've been seeing that in the Dallas Fort Worth area anyway. You know a lot of people. Everybody's the numbers for people that are backstage in this area are a lot higher than other parts of the country. So I think it's a really good thing and that people want to get out in about They want to have fun. It's about time. Yeah, it's time for them to spend that play check. I'd love it. Take another hit, even though it's hard to believe with 20 offers going in on a house right now, But I always say what whenever you have an all time high. We know what follows. That is an all time low, So I just feel like here we go again soon. Yeah, We've seen a handful of clients and also listeners from the show that are consolidating their real estate investments or reducing lutely the amount of money that they haven't real estate because They're not wanting to have any downside exposure. They want to mitigate that risk. The markets run up great. It's time to sell a portion dependent on their age and what their goals and objectives are and for a lot of them to be about. Oh, Place money into a strategy that gives you a guaranteed lifetime income stream. It makes him feel pretty good at the end of the day, knowing that that paycheck will always be there because previously when they had the rental income coming in whether it was commercial.

Think this time it's been certainly more severe. So I've spent the equal amount of time in these two countries and you know the Chinese, Delia is again the biggest Holiday for us, and it's you know, it's it's sort of a holiday. That's Combined. It's a combination of Thanksgiving and Christmas in the states, So it's a time for all family members to get together and we way celebrate for entire week. No date one. You know, it's the family members sitting all together, share a meal and day, too. You know that we visit friends, and it's also celebrated by the the younger the kids. The younger people in the family. Greeting the elders in the family. And, you know we wish each other a healthy and happy and prosperity Peritus year and then the elders will, you know? Then give the Youngers the red envelope. With, you know, with cash. As you know, it's also a sign of, you know, thankful off off wishes. I love that passing on that prosperity. We've already established that it Zob Vesely intended to stop President Trump. From running for reelection in 2024. But what's the broader mission here? Because if we could project ourselves two weeks into the future, let's say And what's Let's pretend the worst happens. Let's pretend President Trump was convicted and blocked from running for the presidency again. What's the longer game playing out here with this trial, and that's what you have to kind of strip away toe to get an idea because I do not believe he's going to be convicted. I do not believe he's gonna be blocked from from running for the presidency. But assume for a moment that what the what you're seeing play out here in the Senate is it comes to pass. What's the longer game longer game is this and I'll flush it out for you in just a few moments. Longer game is To stop you and you and you and you from resisting the change that is coming to the country. What's the old Chinese proverb that Ram Emanuel used once upon a time? In crisis. There's opportunity. You never let a good crisis go to waste. You know, it's it's important, understand what it is that's going on here. I've been reading the stoics all this new year that we've just come into. You know the stoics that the people who who lived in the ancient times and and and stated things about government and governance and behavior in public behavior. Marcus Aurelius was one of these and he's got a great quote. It's time you realized that you have something in you more powerful and miraculous. Then the things that affect you and make you dance like a puppet. This impeachment move, as with many of the moves with the executive orders are designed to make you dance like a puppet. To dance to the tune of the Piper, calling it from Washington, D. C. And in just a couple of moments, I'm gonna tell you what the longer game is here. It's a very important thing to understand as you watch what happens in these coming days, weeks and months. But first we go out to Roseanne, who is in Holtsville, New York, out on Long Island or resent Welcome to the program. It says here that you were at the rally that the president put together there for January, the sixth what happened in terms of police protection, security and that sort of stuff. All right? Yes, I was at the rally, and I explained to the to the producer there that I also attended the mortal life rallies, many of them so I'm aware of the D C and how they set up for a rally of this size. And first thing that we noticed, arriving from a bus Long island that there were hardly any police at all. Unlike the mortal life rally there on every corner there everywhere you can't miss them. The s direction with this that help people there were there were minimal. I thought, two policemen and a plainclothesmen walking down from I think with New York Avenue to your lips. And I saw couple up on the roof by the Washington Monument. And that was about it until we walked through the mall, the West side to the capital. We saw a couple of Capitol police on the top levels. It was it was, they were nowhere to be found. And it was very odd. It was very strange and what bothered me and a lot of the people that went Is that the police the Capitol police, the people in charge of the police knew that there were violent actors going to be there coming out reports. Sure, Bailey that they knew these people would bombs with weapons will going to infiltrate the rally We never would notified, But yet the mayor of DC Merial thousands sent out a tweet on everyone's phone. At four in the afternoon of a curfew when she should have tweeted out in the morning when we got off the bus is that look it. We have reports of violent actors. Be careful whatever. To give us some notifications. Sure we would not notified it was it was Very upsetting. Well, let me let me just say this. And I appreciate that called Roseanne and what you're saying comports with a lot of what? I've heard sitting here in Charlotte talking to people who were there at the rally who were not part of the riot or were not part of what it was. That would go down later in the day, And so we have a tale of two realities going on here. Okay? The first reality is the impeachment effort to try to blame this on the president. The second reality is the failings in the security that took place there at the Capitol, and it's easy to point this back and say to the president, the president of this, the president did that all that sort of stuff. But he's not responsible for ground level base level security there at the Capitol and that that's just not the case. A speaker Pelosi and and majority leader then Mitch McConnell, They have much more to say about security and the security profile. At the Capitol, much more so than the president the president can call in for you can recommend that the National Guard going for backup and that sort of stuff. But the reality is this is this is about being controlled at the Capitol. And this is why this impeachment is so unfortunate. And I appreciate that call. Resent. This is why the impeachment so unfortunate, because rather than get down to the facts of what it was, it happened and what failed on that day. We've gone to impeachment. We haven't done a single solitary hearing yet into the the sergeant at arms into the Capitol police into the National Guard into the D C. Metro cops. We don't know what that security profile was. In fact, we don't even know what the final finding For the federal Bureau of Investigation was as a result of this. This is all still TBD out there in the ether. Here we are a month later, and we don't know the full tic tac off all the elements short. We know what the rioters did. We watched what they did. It was shocking. There was all sorts of controversy because there was a delay in getting the TV ratings out and Nielsen took a took a lot of criticism for it. But the numbers are, in fact out and I don't want to overstate this because a lot of people watch the game, but Compared to other years. The numbers are not good. The numbers came in. And what they say is that 96.4 million people watched the Super Bowl that includes the people that watched it on CBS around 91 million and the people who streamed it, which was another like 5.5 million, but all in all done 96.4 million people. Now that Zob Vesely a ton of people, but you have to compare it last year again, all in all done TV and streaming. Last year. Kansas City versus San Francisco 102 million people watched it, so it's it's down around 8% from last year. The biggest Super Bowl number was in 2015. That's when the Patriots played the Seahawks and back then that the number was 114 million. So in the space of five or six years that the viewership has gone from 114 million to 96 million, roughly again that that's a drop of 18 million. Viewers and that does include TV, and it does include Streaming s O down 8% from last year, the number People who watch the game again to give you some perspective. This is the lowest number of people watching the game since 2007. When Indianapolis played Chicago. That was a 93.1 million. And this was like 96.4 million, and, of course streaming is a much bigger deal now. Then it was back in 2007. So you got to go back to 2007 to have numbers that were anywhere near is low is what this was 8% from last year. Down dramatically from the high of five years ago. Now I get it. You're talking about 96.4 million people, So that's a lot of people that ended up watching it. But from the perspective of the NFL, the numbers are not moving in the right direction. "We Take the access tissue, usually at the mid or lower portion of the abdomen. And even if it's a one sided reconstruction, we still take an equal amount of tissue on both sides of the abdomen so that the patient gets a good contour. So a lot of folks look at it favorably. From not only the perspective of getting a breast reconstruction, but they also look at it as improving the contour their abdomen and are there certain types of patients who are undergoing therapy for breast cancer who might be a better candidate for That type of reconstruction with the deep flat versus an implant, for example, so patients that have, um no plans for radiation immediately after the mastectomy. Are are usually good candidates for using their own tissue. We try not to transfer the tissue or do an autologous flap. At the time of mastectomy. If we know that they're going to get radiation afterwards because the radiation can have ill effects on the reconstruction. In terms of other things that we consider if the patient is very large breasted. We still don't have great success with Implant based reconstruction due to the limitations of the implants that are available, and so oftentimes we steer those patients to autologous reconstruction as well. And if they have tissue, for instance, in their belly despair Again. They oftentimes don't mind having it harvested and is the recovery from that sort of reconstruction with their own tissue. Is it a more difficult recovery? I mean, I'm assuming they're more scars, of course, because they have the abdominal scar. But do patients tend to recover as well as with an implanted as quickly or is it a little bit of a longer recovery? In general. We tell patients that there's a lot more work up front for them versus an implant based reconstruction because they do have to heal what we call the donor site or the site that we harvest the tissue from And so we usually impose some form of restrictions for approximately six weeks after we harvest, for instance, from the abdominal donor site. Those restrictions include lifting restrictions. Usually in the 10 to £15 range. In addition, we don't want them sleeping on their on their breasts. When it when it's all said and done. It might mean that for another two or three weeks, they have more restrictions than an implant based reconstruction. But Overall, they don't need any, um significant recovery afterwards because most the reconstruction is completed at the time of that initial procedure versus Implant based reconstruction, where it may need to be staged, and Dr Adamson win it when the implant based Reconstructionist stage What's usually the timeline? You had mentioned the tissue expanders to ultimately the implant it Zob Vesely a longer timeline than Dr Lo Giudice said, alluded to for the flap reconstruction. So what is that timeline, usually for women? So usually we will exchange the expander for the implant after about 3 to 4 months, But if the patient is having chemotherapy and definitely if they're having radiation therapy, then we wait to exchange to the permanent implant until after that treatment is complete. And the skin has recovered. And finally in our last couple minutes, Dr Dorian is it Do people have to have for example, if they decide that they just want to have their breast cancer surgery and not have any reconstruction at the same time. Is that an option? Can they come back at a later date and have the reconstruction or you'd do typically try to recommend it in a close Interval of time from when they have their breast cancer surgery. It certainly is an option how to reconstruction at any time. So what we call it is immediate or delayed reconstruction. So some woman will opt to have the reconstructive process started at the time of their mastectomy, which is called an immediate reconstruction, even though they're often several operations still to follow in the following months. Delayed reconstruction is when a woman chooses not have reconstruction up front or sometimes their oncologist recommends not every construction in front because they may have an aggressive cancer, such as something called inflammatory breast cancer, in which case they can come back year two years later and have the reconstruction. And can they have the imp imp in plant based or the tissue reconstruction? Like Dr Adamson and duck shirt the Judas mentioned or their one over the other? That's a good question. So if you've had a mastectomy and then been treated with radiation afterwards, it's not possible to re expand your skin and haven't implant alone Reconstruction. So in that case, you would be requiring an autologous or using some form of your own tissue. Okay, Great. We called and they were able to get the pre paid maintenance and extended warranty taken off and we're able to later paid cash. Outside of that. We're the same extended warranty very cheap. But they said the glass protection is G s. She s F s windshield. $1500 that that's accessory and can't be taken off. And the LoJack is 24 98. And I'm like I said, I thought maybe miss taken, but I thought he said that you had to have it in order to get the financing Well, things MD that a pre installed on these cars and The G E F GS F stands for Gulf States. I forget what it is. But Gulf States is the distributor that Sends the cars to the dealers. Okay. In other words, they their middleman. So Toyota sells. They've got five. Distributors in the country. They sell cars directly to them. Then the distributors sell cars to the dealers. It's a very odd It's very odd system versus everybody else, but it's worked for, you know, 40 years, so nobody's ever changed it. But Here's the thing. When when cars come into the port. They're around Houston. Lot of Toyota's come in their Gulf states adds things to them before the dealer gets him, so the dealer's got paid for it. Now. What if the dealer says, No, I don't want any. Don't want it does add on to put on our cars. I'll do that. But guess what. They will get the allocation. Then s O. They have to play the game. And from what I understand from having distributors in other parts of the country where the show airs. It's the same everywhere. So you know things like an extended warranty and and that sort of stuff certainly is optional. And if you end up with that stuff, and you want to cancel his cancel a ble, But if it's something that the dealer had to pay for You can pass that on to you. And you know, the other side of the deal to MD is most of stuff that Gulf states and the other distributors at ad aren't bad things to have. It's just the thought that there's cram it down your throat. That's what I ate, but the dealers have to play the game, but they don't get the cars. But long chases these rabbits are lining out and running. You know hundreds and hundreds of yards for the make the circle. Come back to the John, which I enjoyed that because you get the sea the dog's work and where the rabbit jumps over a ditch your crosses the stream or Hops out of cover runs down a corn row. You get the opportunity Watch the dogs fared all that out. Analyze that maze of traction. Class schools. Dogs are very, very good at that. You know, a guy who was essentially a starting pitcher, If if there is a, you know, ever a case where, you know, we think it makes sense to use an opener where you know it. That's not something that should be. Sort of held against. You know the picture from a financial standpoint and so rather than using the kind of traditional game started metric for further performance woman structure we went with this kind of ball game scenario. I mean, we view Alex as a guy who's going to start games for us, Um And again hope hope we can give him the ball every fifth day. And as we found this year when you have Sort of reliable starters. That's always going to be preferable to trying to patch together, you know, 27 outs at the front and the back of the game, so it's not a strategy that we're looking to do, But it's something that came up with a number of guys that we've been talking about contracts with not just this offseason but last off season and it's an easy gift for us because Our intention is to have these guys start. But it seems like a reasonable protection for the players. Why I thought that was an interesting comment, thereby Farhaan saying that it Zob Vesely and agreed. It's obviously much easier. Instagram along with Bloomberg Business Week, editor Jill Weber, who got to say kicked it off with a little levity in an already stressful 2021. I was looking forward to 2021. I didn't look anything like 2020. But don't think I'll be so lucky on Bob Vesely. Last week's chaos actually came to a head even again over the weekend with sort of the social me Years platforms. Basically, basically, you know, not only blocking Trump and perhaps permanently banning him in the case of Twitter, But then I think the parlor conversation is become the one. That's even more interesting because Both the Apple APP store and Google's play store have taken restrictions there. But then I thought the big move in the one that I was actually most eager to talk to Sarah about was sort of the The Amazon. Moved eight of us coming in and basically blocking it. I didn't see that coming this year, but it does show you don't like. Not only are the social media companies able to wield the stick, but like Amazon's got the biggest stick of all. So so it's Sarah. Kind of there's this Is this a fast moving story, but I want to understand. Like how you're thinking about where this conversation go goes from from here. It does hail the right and was the tech power conversation that we're going to have a lot more this year as these antitrust Uh, battles with Washington Rage on. I expect that to continue during the Biden administration, and that tech power conversation is both about because the power to restrict as as much as it is about the power to allow And so the companies are grappling with this allowing parlor to be on the APP store, allowing parlor to have posting by Amazon. That's the thing that employees are looking at. Critics are looking at and saying well. Why don't you just cut them off? You have the power to do that. Your private company and the company. There are things you know what? Yeah, We don't want to be dealing with this. This You don't want this headache. And and it's really interesting to see that evolution because we've we've talked about it a lot like you said with the social media companies. A lot of conservatives are concerned about too much. Heading off of people have accounts. A lot of people on the Democratic side are concerned about the hosting of illegal activity and people who are inciting violence and And the balance is really what is it is an issue here. Looking Valley companies have a reputation for being really mission driven, and I think a lot of employees have had Uh, personal reckoning over the last few years. Is it ethical to work for Facebook? Is it ethical to work for Google? If they're working with the Defense Department on, you know Uh, Putting people in cases of the border. There have been a lot of new debates about what it means. If you work for a company that has certain requires certain vendors, certain contracts and host certain voices. And so we have seen employees the almost the more forceful voice against their leaders and even the government because the government can't can't really Be clear about what they want everyone days in check power, but they don't necessarily have a clear direction of what would be a good resolution, whereas employees Neither. Mostly they're mostly liberal. They're well educated, and they're saying, Hey, I don't want to work for a place that support something like this, And we saw an open water from Twitter employees to Jack Dorsey asking for bigger ban on Trump. They had previously only been home for 12 hours, and now that he's permanently banned And we've seen we've seen Amazon employees right to you. Their employer about parlor is saying, Why're we hosting parlor? We should We should take them off. And I think that that power should not be underestimated because of how hard it is to recruit Silicon Valley. The best talent Well and what's to stop. I don't know. Like I don't know whether there's oranges to oranges, apples to apples, but another company from saying, I don't like. Well, I guess companies do that right if they don't wanna work with the supplier, if they don't want to work with something, they have that opportunity to do it, Sarah, I'm just trying to Understand the differences or not differences from another company. Kind of banning something. You know whether they don't sell to a certain customer. They do that all the time, right? Well, sometimes who? Okay a few years ago Cos We're happy to just work within the bounds of the law. There are sanctions against Iran. We won't sell to around. But that was like, you know, if it's illegal, we won't do it. On Dat was how Facebook and Twitter thought about content a lot in the early days, you know, remove his little as possible. "That the law in Pennsylvania was crystal clear that they had to be in By the time the polls closed and justice Alito ordered that those ballots be held out separately, and, uh, my understanding is that Even if you didn't count those ballots that it wouldn't have made a difference in the outcome of the election in Pennsylvania, and I thought that was a prudent thing to do, because I do think that election officials in each state are required by the U. S constitution to follow the rules for their state. And, uh, you know, I don't I would never let a Supreme Court represents the state and that is another question. I think it was a good thing. We didn't have to have it resolved by the Supreme Court states because It turned out there bringing their votes at stake to make any difference. But that's not fraud, though, either when you know when people are voting good faith and are told, you know here a deadlines. Um they're voting in good faith that's not fraud. All right. The Republican Party has been in a multi year, multi decade campaign to make it harder for people to vote. Where they think they're not going to vote Republican and that's just exactly. It's quite ironic that you know they're complaining about really is about how it got too easy to vote. Which meant they lost the election because if the people really speak, the people are much closer to the middle of the road. Democrats in the ER to what has turned into an extremist Republican party these days. Well, let me let me jump in here and the devil's advocate this thing a little bit because I I know. I believe that personally, People ought to have an I D and show that idea at the polling place. We show it everywhere else. And if that's voter suppression than Then so be it. I don't believe that that is. Have you ever shown up at the polls and been told that you have already voted? Let's see. No, no. Okay, your news That would be it would be caught your view. But Jordan let me ask you a question. Why? And when did this This controversy erupts? It is with it because there was a lot of vote fraud, or was it because Republicans noticed it was too easy for people to vote? Democratic? Ah, I'm not suggesting for a second that it isn't all political that, uh, Stacey Abrams in Georgia, for instance, is marching. Headstrong to get people registered and do all kinds of things to move the needle, and I think this happens in every election, but, um, I think it's Z. Well, it is a good thing, but I also think it's unfair to taint all Republicans or many Republicans. As as being so you know, suppressing vote. I just don't see that It's been a major element of the Republican strategy to stay in power. Two of their main pillars or a level Yeah, it's become Uh, suppress majority will one is vote suppression. The other is Jerry Mander, which both parties do that And so I don't understand that it's not. It's not a bipartisan thing, but it's been a major. Elements of their strategy of staying in power. And so, you know, I mean, I think you know it. Zob Vesely. There's nothing wrong with making sure that people who are entitled to vote don't vote. That's not what this was about The reason that that that the movement towards voter idea and making it hard, harder and harder tol have the right idea and that sort of thing. Has all been about suppressing votes. It hasn't been about for partisan reasons and hasn't been about safeguarding against election front. But none of them will tell the truth when they supported. Well, I'm telling you the truth. From my vantage point. It makes perfect sense that it's It's logical and I can't understand for the life of me. How people can be. Ah beat songs I d and and expect to survive in this society we live in when voting is so precious and important, but that's just me. I'm not a Republican operative or democratic operative.
