Today, temperatures, lower 80s tomorrow, lower 70s in as the front comes through, it'll wipe that haze out, so there could be some haze at sunrise tomorrow, but then a bluer sky for the afternoon. So with the front, we'll have some clouds increasing this evening, your temperatures will be dropping through the 70s and then 60s and by morning we'll have a range of about 48 to 55°, northerly winds picking up tomorrow could have gust around 20 to 25 mph, so a breezy day, a cooler day for your Thursday. Then on Friday, we'll be near 75, mostly sunny skies just perfect as we wrap up this work week and get ready for the holiday weekend. I am tracking a range chances for Sunday, Monday time period, no washout days coming our way, but this area of low pressure just kind of creeps up the coast and will give us some showers and thunder showers again for, mainly Sunday, Monday, time period. In Maryland, traffic moving pretty well on the Capitol building both directions but on the inner loop approaching I -95 looks like Drop the cones for the overnight road work just minor delays. Crossing the ramp to go to I -95 heading towards Route 1 in College Park. For the most part, Beltway moving nicely in both directions over in Prince George's County. 95 in the B -W Parkway traveling incident free between the two Beltways. Current issues over on 270 were on Route 50. In Virginia, quite on the Beltway for now and traffic moving nicely on 66 and 395. No current problems to report on 95 in Virginia all clear from the Springfield interchange down to the Fredericksburg area. Minor delays over on the G -W Parkway. It is just a little bit of that haze coming through from time to time from those fires burning way off in Western Canada otherwise very comfortable conditions out there with low humidity and ample amounts of sunshine for us today and right now new information coming in on that chance of a little bit of rain for the weekend they'll continue to drop. So not going to get much rain, of course we do need the range just don't like it to come during the holiday weekend. This evening, if you're going out some scattered clouds out there, we'll have temperatures continue to drop through the 70s and we'll be in the 50s by early tomorrow morning. Those lows will go from 50s to highs tomorrow near 80°. It's going to be a little bit of a warmer day, partly sunny conditions, and then mostly sunny and breezy on Thursday, the reason for a little bit of that wind is there's going to be a weak weather front that comes through, dropping down out of Pennsylvania down through our area and it's going to kick up the winds a little bit without providing us with any rain. Highs on Thursday, 70 to 75°, Friday we're in the low 70s, Saturday, we're in the mid 70s. Sunday upper 70s, then we'll top out on Monday right now, looking like we'll be in the lower 80s through the area with just a few isolated to straight showers, thunder showers around the area, so a little less rain again coming our way for the holiday weekend. We'll start in Maryland at Prince George's County on the Adderloop at the Capitol Beltway near the route for Pennsylvania Avenue and crash activity contained now to the left shoulder. We are backed up on the Adderloop all the way to Route 5. Montgomery County actually we're in very good shape in both directions waiting overnight work for zones to pop up and we're very slow on the northbound side at 95 up just past Savage heading toward Elkridge. Callers say she starts to slow down after Route 32. We do have one broken down on the right shoulder before 175. People are tapping the brakes and looking. Please keep it travel moving. lanes Otherwise are open all the way up to the Baltimore Beltway. 270 delays near Gaithersburg have gone away. You're clear all the way up to the I -70 interchange in the Frederick area but we're still slow both directions over on the BW Parkway from 410 Riverdale through the Beltway in 193. Things improve in both directions after 197. No problems in either direction on Route 50 clear all from the Beltway out to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. That's right, another change. Here we go. We're getting ready for some rain tomorrow. Rain showers now looking more isolated to scattered in nature. I'm not going to see anything that's going to be overly widespread or too heavy for too long tomorrow. But we are going to get some wet weather towards the one day out of this work week that is looking like we've got a chance. As far as overnight goes, we're going to see the clouds move and lows 55 to 62° and we'll have highs tomorrow near 75 to 78° and a lot of neighborhoods where that southwesterly wind. So your best chance of rain is going to be during the afternoon and evening hours. We could pick up anywhere from a tent to about a quarter of an inch in some areas and there may even be a rumble of thunder, so we're warm a little wet for tomorrow, and then we dry out for mid week, Wednesday will clear our skies and it is going to be a little breezy. Breaking news on WTO. We have two breaking stories, including a judge's ruling on cameras in the courtroom tomorrow when Donald Trump is arraigned, but first, locally, Roy McGrath, the one time top aide to former Maryland governor Larry Hogan, has died tonight after being shot during an encounter with FBI agency Knoxville, Tennessee. Multiple news outlets say McGrath died of a gunshot wound in the house he died in the hospital after a gunshot wound in this encounter with the FBI. He had been considered a fugitive after skipping out on a court date in Baltimore about three weeks ago. The FBI tells WTO, McGrath was shot as agents went to arrest him. The details of the shooting are unclear. The FBI calls it an agent involved shooting and says it's inspection division is looking into exactly what happened. McGrath briefly served as chief of staff to then governor Hogan. He resigned after he was accused of falsifying records tied to a nearly quarter $1 million severance package from a previous government job. The FBI and U.S. Marshals service each offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest, but they did indeed find Roy McGrath tonight. He is dead after being shot during an encounter with the FBI agents in Knoxville, Tennessee. More information will come in tonight and tomorrow. We'll bring it to you here on WTO. Now to the breaking news involving former president Donald Trump, who has been in New York City for several hours to face the first criminal charges ever filed against a former president of the United States. And we're learning tonight from NBC News that cell phones and laptops will not be allowed in the courtroom during the former president's hearing, but the camera coverage will be allowed at least for a short time. We're still sorting that out as well, but the judge's decision just coming in. Donald Trump was in escorted by the Secret Service from his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago to his Trump Tower apartment in New York City. The former president's scheduled to turn himself over to the Manhattan district attorney's office tomorrow, following the unprecedented indictment linked to a hush money payment made to former porn star stormy Daniels. The judge who was presiding over the cases were repeating here, says cameras will be allowed for a short period of time before the start of the arraignment. Trump's lawyers had urged the judge to prohibit cameras altogether. Meanwhile, CBS News has learned that the entire NYPD has been placed on standby ahead of the arraignment. CBS News chief election and campaign correspondent Robert Costa outside that courthouse with more. Trump has already on the attack ahead of his arraignment, claiming the judge overseeing the case Juan Marshawn hates me. And calling the prosecution a witch hunt. This was a political persecution. I've been around criminal justice for 35, 36 years. I've never seen anything like this where you literally announce your target and revive cases with perjury and witnesses in an effort to just bring him down at all costs. Though the indictment is sealed until Tuesday, sources say Trump will likely be charged with falsifying business records in the first degree, a felony stemming from his alleged role in hush money paid to adult film star stormy Daniels back in 2016. The other man that you heard speaking in that report was Trump lawyer Jim trusty. And of course, Robert Costa reporting. He just had his first round of chemo. So he was. He's been an actor whose life has always made me sad. Since saved by the bell, because the times we would see him in public was we're always always seemed to be these like desperate grasps at a sort of like theatrical relevance, likely tabloidy relevance, like Right, Like At one point, he filmed a sex tape and well, that was not really him. Okay. He was a part of it, though. He was a part of the sex tape. Yeah, he they used a stunt double for. Yeah, that's OK. That's Of course, that's these air, his claims by the way, I don't even know if that's true. But everything about it is kind of sad that that particular thing he was involved in celebrity boxing matches where they bring him out, and then people would punch him in the face.
