Because then if I miss my work, maybe we don't have any income, and they want to gloss over things instead of trying to take care of things early on. I think it's a trend. That's here. And it's not just a working man everybody. No one wants to be sick. Now. That's what the article says men can't expect to die approximately five year sooner than women. According to the survey men are more reluctant to go to the doctor and less likely to be one hundred percent, honest. You know, it's common, but it. Is less common now than it used to be. "This for you. So check that wherever you find podcasts. Jim your turn. I am a late comer to the show corporate on comedy central which is now in its second season. And it is just to give you the the brief thumbnail this just hilariously vicious satire of corporate office life that that premiered last year. And I will be honest when I watched the first couple of episodes. I think they sent a few out his screeners to critics. It seemed a little sort of just harsh and. Off putting to me, and I will admit that. I was wrong. I think this this. This was this was not so much that the show got better as it went on. But that I didn't give myself enough time to sort of acclimate myself to its worldview later last year. I, you know, having heard good things from people who had watched more and more of it went back and and binged the first season, and it just gets better and better and addictive. I should say. So the second season is on comedy central. Now. It's started back in January. The recent episode natural beauty. I think it was the third episode of the season. One of the best comedy episodes. I've seen in months. Well, probably be on my list of like, I I do list of best episodes of the year at the end of every year were like me and you gave up on corporate in the first season. I strongly suggest getting back into it. If you were fan of better off, Ted. Which was a great corporate tower several years ago on on ABC, you may like this. I I think this is more than a retread of that. Because I always thought that you know, better off Ted kind of had this notion that oh this peak inside of this company, veridian, dynamics, which is bad and evil. But there is I think the difference with corporate is that it's attitude is sort of capitalism is bad, and it kind of makes everybody into monsters, and does you does sort of horrific things to people and makes them into Mana creatures, and you may agree with that or or not. But it's it's a point of view, and it like totally commits to it. And it's just brilliant delivering so. Wow, this this recommendation is like directed, right? At me. And Dave because we did watch the first couple didn't like it. And we do like better off Ted. So and you hate capitalism. If if I do if you okay? I will say then since since I have a an audience to evangelize to here. If you want to go back and watch one episode from the first season to convince you watch the last episode of the first season just called remember day. And it's about how the company at the center of of corporate basically, invented a national holiday around September eleventh. With like a set of like traditions, and you know, gift wrapping and TV specials and at the same time. Like, it sounds like like, it's too far and. But but it's actually handled really deftly. And I can't really explain how it ends up being sort of touching by the end. If you don't like it after watching that episode. Maybe the show is not for you. And I think that it will win you over took it for, sir. What do you have to plug their gym, and I'll plug my plug, which is not just my work. "Well, it is five eighteen I hope your commute is going. Well, but we are going to see some spots where there are delays. And let's go out and go to Brett Gillian take a look at a few those southbound loop twelve no problems. Fortunately from thirty five past one eighty three to thirty looking at roughly twenty minutes there. The Bush turnpike, also not looking bad southbound it's about a twenty minute drive right now from six thirty five and I thirty in grand prairie. In fact. It's clear until just after you pass trinity boulevard. So rush hour right on schedule. Now, I want to warn you this near Bachman lake Luffield Harry Hines down to one lane. And that's because of roadwork at web chapel extension with still some pretty heavy backups. You might consider using thirty five or Lemmon avenue to get north. Now, if you have the choice between using the tollway or seventy five to get past get through north Dallas, tollways, probably the way to go. Everything looks pretty clean through university park and heading up to about forests. That's where you see some rush hour delays not a lot but into Addison it'll be fairly slow. While seventy-five sees a pretty significant backups starting around SMU, maybe Mockingbird and taking you all the way through Richardson even up into plano past fifteenth street. So definitely seeing the rush hour take hold there and Randy fuller. We had this one problem in Arlington house that well, it's kinda clear enough. Northbound Collins one fifty seven veridian park. The emergency crews are clearing up the scene now an accident and it's backed up to about green oaks, also Arlington. Southbound three sixty from carrier to twenty it's moving along pretty slow pace and northbound thirty five W from one twenty one to meet him look for some slow moving traffic on that stretch. Now, some pretty hefty backups in the colony this is going to be on main street Josie, right as you exit off from the Sam Rayburn tollway and try to go north, and I believe that portion is main street, but it's going to stay pretty backed up all the way up to the colony boulevard. So a believe that's going to be either a signal light issue or maybe an accident causing that tie up. But. No matter you want to expect it either way and maybe use page road near Nebraska furniture mart to try to work your way. Northbound Julian Rogers next report at five twenty eight and breaking traffic alerts when they happen..

"And weather together on the ace NewsRadio ten eighty KRLD. It is five. Oh eight and basically what we've been looking at now is traffic trying to recover from earlier accident. So it's still very heavy in certain spots, namely, thirty five the tell us about that breath. It's well from I thirty in downtown Dallas past six thirty five in farmers branch up to two hundred eight in Denton an hour drive there. Southbound Forty-five also knowledge about it. So take you about fifteen minutes from my thirty two dowdy ferry road in Hutchins, eastbound six thousand five frankly, it hasn't recovered very well from an earlier crash at Jupiter in garland, and it's still slow back to thirty-five year in farmers branch about a half hour drive there now near Bachman lake Luffield. Harry Hines heads up is down to one lane with roadwork at Webb chapel extension and causing heavy backups. You might consider thirty-five or Lemmon avenue to get north. Have you have the option to get out of downtown Dallas? Let's say between the tollway and seventy-five hallways looking better right now. Although it is busy as you get into Addison because seventy five is going to be mostly stop and go traffic anywhere from Highland Park. All the way up into plano. So that's going to be easily thirty minutes to get to the Allen city limits. Whereas if you're heading north on the tollway only, the only traffic. You really hit his in Addison. And once you get past the Bush turnpike looks pretty good and Randy fuller. What are we looking at in Arlington? Northbound Collins add veridian park, only the left lane gets through with emergency crews on the scene of an accident is slow back through about green oaks in the backup behind that and Arlington westbound thirty from Lamar to about meta brook in Fort Worth. It's a little bit sluggish along that stretch and then southbound thirty five W from one seventy two north loop all the way down to about Meacham from that point is pretty slow and on the Sam Rayburn tollway. Heading north up towards the colony. There's a little bit of traffic coming off of thirty five, but the real deal as far as delays go are as you as you exit at near Nebraska furniture mart that's going to be Josey lane. So you will see some major northbound delays stacking up. That's that turns onto main street, actually. And I believe we're going to have an issue at the colony boulevard because this backup does extend get all the way back to the Sam Rayburn. Tollway.
