"Study and monarchy. This is your grumpy uncle. Peter he will say words at you over the break. I finished watching the man delorean and I watched the witcher. And a couple of days. And there were two instances within both shows that I found ought what and it was when the main character so it's relevant there's no spoilers here In that the main character was captured because honestly leave. You couldn't guess that at some point over six or ten episodes the main character was gonna get captured by enemies You're dumb so something that I realized realized and I know this is probably has a lot to do with visual narrative more than actual writing skill. Is they put people. So in some sort of prison-like situation they don't seem to think about taking away all their gear so the man delorean. He's wearing a suit of armor and that suit of armor within it has weapons it has stuff it has things that helped him survive but of course the whole point demand Delorean is they. Don't show his face face doesn't they. Keep the helmet on so when put in prison. They leave his helmet on. They leave his armor on But that doesn't make any sense the first thing you would do do if you were arresting or capturing or holding a guy wearing a suit of armor is stripped him a suit of armor and if you had any useful stuff in it you would take that stuff now within the witchy universe. He's wearing leather. which you'd be like okay? Well there's not really any sort of things in there that he could use to escape but the whole point of the witcher universes that witcher's can kinda use magic. They can come to you stuff so leaving him with even like a necklace on doesn't make sense because for all you know his necklaces magic. I don't actually remember if it is or not. I don't think it is but you would need to be that cautious. If he has a ring that could be magic if he has some sort of vile of stuff. He's he's shown drinking vials of stuff multiple times throughout the series again. That's a spoiler for you. You need to chill the fuck out the point I making those. He had any object on him. You would need to take it away because for all you know that is magical in nature so you take his clothes yes because he actually might have magical close take his his any any ornaments he's wearing. He's taking objects objects off his body. Otherwise you're just leaving him with more opportunities to overpower you in escape. It would have ruined the band delorean because the whole point was the taking off his mask would have been a big reveal. And you're not supposed to show his face get the help it on much like judge. DREDD judge supposed to keep his helmet on. If you've read the call Vicks they actually show him getting out of the shower with his helmet on now other judges they take the helmet saw. This is a relevant. Is the helmet thing. But it was really good in the Karl Urban Urban Movie. He never takes his helmet off. Never actually see Karl urban face despite the fact that you know face for facial recognition big thing for actors. But if you're writing a script right now she one of those people you have your hero get imprisoned. I think you should have them get stripped down. Now you will take a little bit more work to get out of the prison Maybe they have to use more intelligence more trickery more wile and guile but but it would actually serve for a better story and if you need to have them keep their face covered. You really can't have captured because the first thing you would do. They take off their mask or helmet so happy new year. It's twenty twenty We're back. I don't think you cared that much. Still got downloads. While while I wasn't posting which I was super happy about people are either catching up or going back to listen to old episodes or whatnot so I I was really happy to see that downloads continued. Even when I took a break. That was really nice. I am trying out a new feature called Voice Link Dot FM. It's in Beta so if you go to voice link dot FM Slash Veloce podcast cast. You can record an audio message and it will get sent to me. Why will go there and get it? I will post a link in the show notes so you can just press that it will take you there automatically and it takes a website. I just tried it on my phone. It works very easily. You do have to give your whatever phone browser sir access to your microphone but I mean honestly. You've probably done that already anyway. You can record a message. You could even write a message. I don't see the point because you can send me an email at the end of the episode. It says you know you can tweet at veloce peter or send an email veloce gmail.com but now there's an option the one I would prefer more people. Send me a couple of voice messages. I've gotten a lot of messages here and there over the years. I've been making the podcast. I always want to include them. But I always always feel kinda weird reading them out in my voice when I would really like to hear your voice because maybe you wanna say something really sarcastic. Maybe you don't I don't know will But I would like your tone to come through so that my response can be appropriate to your tone you can go to voice link dot FM slash. Veloce podcast on the Internet. I will put a link in the show. You can just click on that. I will also put on the website so he goes have loss of Peter dot com. It'll be there. I really look forward to hearing from people. I like the hogwarts debate. Where I said that hogwarts was trump's America? I had a lot of people. Come to me and say things I really would have liked to have those things income part of the show When I started dishing on the power rangers and the fact that they would all die when their swords transformed into a giant robot at Tommy a friend and mine and a friend of the podcast he got he took that real personal Because I guess the power rangers his whole life or something and you know he will now have an avenue a opportunity to voice his concerns his beliefs That I can then shoot those down to because he's role so this question. I believe it came from bread it but someone sent it to me the question is you just killed someone. The Scooby Gang drives up outside your house. What do you do to get rid of them? Scooby Doo didn't deal with a lot of murder for being really honest most of the time. The premise of the show was there was oil or gold. Or something that someone. I'm one the bad guy of the episode. Wanted to keep people away from their plan was to imitate or mimic a a monster. Goule of some sort to scare people away while they abused the resource that they were trying to probably steal. I don't remember there being a lot of murders in Scooby Doo. That's not to say they didn't investigate murders. Maybe they didn't put those shows on. That was listening to the late night. Light version of Scooby Doo more adult version. I've seen one adult version of Scooby Doo that we won't be discussing today. It get involved primarily the females. But what do you do to get rid of. Them is actually quite easy because they we know. They are primarily focused on the supernatural supernatural and explaining away or finding out supernatural. That will attract them. What you have to do is do nothing? That would imply anything supernatural credentials happened so the van rolls up in. I guess Freddie the the guy with the necker teeth he gets out and comes talk to you probably wanting directions. That's kind of like how an episode would start. Yeah we're trying to get to the Josie and the pussycats concert But we've lost our way out to your creepy house in the middle of the forest. That currently has no murders in. It is sue because people don't assume that could you direct us back to the highway and we'll be on our way. Don't pretend to be a ghost and scare them away when they drive up. Don't put a light show that implies pirates have come back from the dead. Don't dress up as a swamp creature and try to scare away the game. You walk up to Freddie in your clothes. Close Jeans t-shirt about normal. Humans can get jeans and a t-shirt maybe an old hat like a good hat. Oh well young men. You've just made a wrong turn. Go back about ten minutes. You've probably turn left. Turn Right. They'll take you back onto the main road. The main road go about a mile our so down that take about another five minutes and you'll see the turn onto the highway that'll get you to the city. which will of course lead due to the Josie and the pussycats concert for a crossover episode? Have a good day novellas in the in the car. She's the smart one you know. 'cause she wears classes he's less attractive. She's looking at this was scrutiny. She's not seeing any ghosts. She's not seeing any pirates. She's not seeing anything out of the ordinary. She's a man.

"Monarchy. This is your grumpy uncle. Peter he will say words Achy. There was not an episode last week because I had to go to work. I'm sorry about that. I got some very nice messages though so the previous episode the end of the episode after the end song after like I guess the end credits it's not really credits. But you know the thank you in the song and stuff. There was a bit where I was like kind of torn up about how someone had gotten paid to make lady battle COP and I. It didn't get paid for this. I got some really nice messages from listeners. I really appreciate that and it really made me feel good. That a couple of people and it wasn't sarcastic or at least it didn't Cassara casting. Maybe it wasn't I didn't catch it but they were like. Hey Menu okay. You know you're doing a good job. It was just a very nice. It was really really nice. I have have to admit I tend to have trouble sincerity. That's why I use the computer generated voices to say thank you and stuff because I'm so awkward and uncomfortable when I have to try to do something sincere here I find it really difficult but yes I got a bunch of messages. The people showing concern that was a bit. I was not actually feeling anything. Other than Lady Battle Cop was a weird movie. It is funny that someone got paid for it. And I don't care about that. I'm I'm doing this as a hobby. If you listen to news Japan you've already heard the spotify annual summary for that. I got one four. Veloce the podcast as well so I I find those as a lot of numbers which is something I find endlessly fascinating. There was when I found when I saw this I I was shocked. A hundred percent shock. I cannot say any other word on spotify so I know not the listenership is download streaming seaming spotify in a couple of other formats. You try to put your podcast out everywhere which means collating actual numbers information difficult. spotify is unique. Gives you very specific information veloce. PODCAST has a ninety five percent female listenership of spotify. I was Shocked my image. was that my new show. Engineers Japan would be all mixed fifty fifty but somehow how my image of loss podcast was all male in that probably came from some previous numbers but learning that ninety five percent of the people listening on spotify or women. I was really happy about that because it means my content is not bro focused. I guess I don't know how to express it properly. I'm just glad there's more people listening of more variety than I was expecting so it makes sense the age rage of the ninety percent female audiences twenty three to twenty seven forty five to fifty nine nine very interesting groups Because they're so separate your early twenties in your late forties. That's cool the five percent male listenership thirty five to forty four and that overlaps with the numbers from Ninja Japan's. I'm assuming those guys are actually just listening to both I appreciate that I wanNA make it sound diminishing anyway because I just think that's what happened but it's just. This is a big surprise from the audience. Overall listened to Arianna Guerande. Amy Shark and the box tops. The only one of those that. I've actually heard of his Ariana Grande Day. And that's because she's cute. That makes me feel really gross. Because she looks like she's twelve despite the fact I know she's an adult. I'm going to look into these other bands to see if they suit me. And if they somehow match the VELOCE podcast vibe which I now don't know what that vibe is to be honest. Most of the listeners on on spotify are from Australia and Sweden. So thank you Australia. Thank you Sweden de most popular episode of Engineers. Mr Pen. Last year was droop could only episode one hundred forty seven. That's about a guy with a giant penis and he'd beat demons with it. That's that's the the content of that story. He's just a really interesting guy because he was a monk. We should go. Listen to that episode. Make it even more popular one hundred forty seven also one hundred and forty-three I don't remember the title. I think it was just loss. PODCAST didn't have a title for it and then one hundred sixty seven was the third and it was the one where I talked about Harry Potter and I knew that was going to get more attention so I realized yes the pop culture stuff whereas stuff I'm tearing on pulp culture and analyzing stuff is kind of the more interesting stuff but it seems like like what I've learned from this is that the storytelling episodes the the stuff where I talk about a story and go through it and then talk about. Maybe a fictional universe verson go through and analyze it. Those are the most popular ones. That doesn't mean I'm going to do more of those but it will help guide. What kind of things I look at 'cause Veloce podcast is essentially whatever is interesting at the moment is the thing I ended up talking about then of course you can see by the variety of topics that changes really quickly for? Everyone who's listened on spotify this year everyone in Sweden and Australia and Japan and in America and everywhere else. If you've enjoyed the episode's please share them with friends. I keep about one hundred and fifty episodes online all the time. This is the vacation in Japan so I will be probably taking a break until the new year so I had to work last week. I couldn't record. It wasn't that I was just being lazy now. I have responsibility to take care of my kids go places and do things Which is nice so probably? There will not be another episode until the New Year. If I get recording time I will record another episode so Please look out for that. Thank you you for listening this year. I look forward to you listening in twenty twenty and if you have any feedback positive or negative anything. You'd like to talk about any questions. Please send an email at veloce podcast at gmail.com or you can tweet at veloce. Peter on twitter. This was a thought I had recently in and one of my friends guy. He's been on the show a couple of times he posted. You know say something controversial about the holidays and I posted that Rudolf. If you pay attention to the lyrics he had a very shiny nose you would even say it glows but because you would say it glows and it's only shiny it doesn't glow in therefore would not be useful for guiding Santa's sleigh on a foggy night because shiny implies a reflective surface so I would assume the what happens is he has a very shiny nose were we always have the cartoon version where it's bright red. That's either a genetic anomaly or some kind of infection but because shiny if he's out during the daytime in it's shiny it's reflecting light from the sun so that light's bouncing off and I was like oh my nose is so bright you would even say it glows. You would say that because has it looks that way in the sunlight. When it gets dark you would not say that? Any the specificity of the language within the song actually dictates that the premises false that Rudolph's nose does not actually glow and one of the site issues with glowing. If we're going to be really honest about flying through fog cars have low beams and that's actually fog lights and those are to hit the road because of you shined up in the light. All you do is illuminate the fog the cloud that you're basically in and you actually don't even see as well see need to shine down now. It sounds like the implication of Santa's goal here was. It was going to guide the SLEIGH now. Does that mean he needed aided a point he could see at the front of the Sleigh so that he could fly his path or did he need the path in front mm-hmm illuminated so he could see if they're flying. That's relatively useless. You actually need Helicopter pilots I know. Follow Roads. They they mark her actual landmarks throughout the world. And that's how they get places airplanes use. GPS now Santa has been around pre GPS. His system system must be different from that. I actually would have SUMED. He used the stars now. He's going up high enough that they're fog would no longer be a problem and the clouds would no longer be a problem because that's how he's navigating historically anyways since these are flying reindeer miss an element of magic involved. I'm assuming the thin thin air and cold above the cloud cover would not be an issue and it's supposed to be just be foggy day so cloud cover is a very easy thing to get above 'cause that's usually ground level like you actually drive out misty mornings and see valleys that are full of fog but if you're above love the valley which isn't even above ground level really. You're perfectly fine perfectly bright day so the fog issue itself seems seems like a false premise. He fact that they use the word you would say. It glows as always bothered me because that is a comparative not a in fact. It's so shiny would say close. It doesn't but you would say that even though that is incorrect. And that's my initial point that I think people's the idea of re Rudolph's nose as a premise is incorrect. They've confused themselves and how that works but then it leads us to to a series of questions about how that evening works where Rudolph became the leader of the reindeer was leading. How's it working? If it's reflective you could have had a light sean onto it and that would reflect the word something else that could become sort of your triangulation system. But if it's foggy Augie than your ground source light no longer works if you're above the clouds and you're using some sort of satellite to track where Santa it is. Linda fog is relevant. So the more I dig into the Rudolf Scandal in issue the Rudolf conspiracy the more. I realize realize that this is just a terrible premise. It does not make any sense and it doesn't work for the rest of the soul. I think we can say now Rudolph's else knows does not glow because you would say that it's not because it does because it's so shiny goggles said that a couple of times not gonNA save whatever shining a light on a reflective surface is less beneficial as guiding premise. So the end part of the song seems to have An issue and fog is very simple thing to overcome overall and since Santa has to deliver packages throughout the whole world. It's only foggy in one area. At one time he could actually deliver packages to everywhere else and then when the fog dissipated returned to that area and deliver the packages this is within the realm. The possibility of Santa's magical powers only because he's able to cover the whole world in every kid in presence in one night now the ultimate thing here is that sent is not real. I.

"Hey sexy actually friend. He's making me bitch. Maybe WanNa get a piece of that. Want to talk about sexy teams. I was getting a directions. It's a very creepy. I can guarantee that underwear theft will come up again. None of this relevant Po came him on. cokie balls seven hundred and fifty middle liter bottle of rum. Welcome to the pharmacy. podcast a study on Manala Jackie. This is your grumpy uncle. Peter he will say words at you two weeks ago on the loss of podcast. I talked about how the Microsoft experiments of the four day workweek would not expand into other industries as well because there were too many sort of bits of missing information I was talking about how they were talking primarily probably about programmers. How Four Day workweek might work better for them but it might not work in other industries? A lot of people sent me messages saying like you. Just don't want a four day WORKWEEK. You're kind of a jerk about it. the jerk part I accept but what I really wanted was a clear explanation of the elements of that experiment what they measured in how they measured the results us and how it can be projected onto other industries successfully. So that's where all my issues came from that. What they were doing was an experiment? It was very successful in their area in there with their criteria. People were saying because this was successful. It'd be successful elsewhere. But that is absolutely not how science or these sort of experiments work you would need an individualized experiment to replicate the results for almost every industry. Now I am very pro. Four Day workweek. I would love to have another day off. I think that'd be great but but that doesn't mean you blindly accept stuff because that's how you get people walking row saying I hate the word moist. This is maybe something I did. A few years ago. WOAH loss podcast. But there was a study in it said people find the word moist disgusting and then every now and then I would meet someone. He'd say same voiced or something like that and they'd I hate that word and that's actually not true. You don't hate that word. Because the actual experiment was was the word moist coupled with something becomes the most disgusting word in the English language but coupled with other words it was not so when they said moist wound. People really grossed out when they said moist cake no one minded at all so it wasn't the word moist. It was the in addition of moist. Something else that made it stronger. So the wound felt grocer because of the word moist but the cake actually felt more delicious because of the additional word moist now that's a bit of a simplification but I've actually run across actual human beings who said they hate the word moist in my head. I'm like that's not true. You read the title of an article and extrapolated as being the truth and now actually believe it where people are saying Microsoft. Read a four day workweek and it was really successful Ed productivity when forty percent that therefore must be true across the board. And that's just not how that works so I am not against a four-day workweek fact. I think I would be very pro for the work week but I just don't want ever want to go around believing things that are. Not True. Skepticism has value then. I read another study this week and implied very heavily. People who play games such as Card Games and board games were more likely to stay mentally sharp in later life now. The study was primarily based those who played Non Digital Games and they scored better on memory and thinking tests when they were in their seventies. And I have a lot of issues with this because this implies if you play card and board games in the long term you'll actually have better memory. Video Games are a relatively new invention compared to cardboard game. So if you're testing people in their seventy I would actually bet people in their seventies. Now don't play very many video games. My parents are in their seventies and eighties. They have never replayed a video game in any real way so the control group I believe is probably very small and that is a major flaw is what you need is a control. All group who from birth play basically nothing but digital gauge and a control group that plays nothing but board and card games and do very boring for those people. I'm sorry science sometimes require sacrifice vice and then when they get to their seventies do some sort of memory test and you can get a better result but it seems like the pool of people they'd be pulling from now primarily. Most of them would not have played video games in any real way. I know older people do. I'm a little older myself and I play video games but I grew up with so people older than me. He actually a lot of them have never touched video game in any real way now. Does that mean that the result is not correct. No but it also means you should have a healthy dose of skepticism schism when reading about this board Games and card games Equate to better memory long term. I don't think that's actually been proven out by this. Because the very nature sure of digital games as they're changing rapidly right now so when you get an established format long-term from birth to seventy years old then you can test memory and then you can get more accurate results. This is the kind of thing that I try to be very aware of when I read. Studies is where are the flaws flaws in the Internet article about the study. Often I try to go find the study but I mean to be honest. A lot of them are very labor intensive to read The very dry very boring so they're not a lot of fun So I'll read kind of bits of them and try to find out like what their control was. Did they have control rebecca stuff. I I did not read the Microsoft study. To be honest I did go back and find the actual source for the word moist and I just looked at the criteria For the Card Game Board Game Study and realized that there were some significant flaws. If you're only testing people in their seventies now the ideas that later in life is what you WanNa test will. That's great but that means people later in life in their seventies now again there were certain factors that led them to play more card and board games and that doesn't mean it improved or diminish the memory. Maybe those same people. If they'd played video games their whole life actually have way better memory. Maybe it would be terrible. Maybe you'll be trashed rushed. I don't know but neither do they. Because it was never studied Cora question why does Canada rarely appear in the news in America. Is Anything bad happened in Canada There's a couple of pretty lame jokes. I came up with right away after reading this the first answers. No nothing bad happens to Canada but then I think the real answer. Is You have to actually care about something to notice it in. Americans don't care about Canada's country so they don't report on. This bias is not not unique so living in Japan. I watch a lot of Japanese news and they only report on international events. If there is a Japanese person involves let's say there's a disaster another our country most of the time it will get zero coverage but if there are two Japanese people maybe like they were tourists or something who were involved in this disaster then it will get some coverage and that's one of the things you need to realize about news the people writing or creating the news only right or create news that they Caribou so if they're American probably only care about America primarily. They might look to Canada if there's something that relates to America or if it's something that they could make funnel but still at the end of the day news sources are actually self interested just like everything else in the world which is why you can't trust the news so I created a Steven Seagal drinking game. This'll be available to you What I post this episode you can go to Veloce Peter Dot Com and there will be a link to a google document and in that Google document will be the rules for the Steven Seagal? Drinking game I'm going to explain it to you. Now see if you can remember all this go ahead but it's actually all been typed up for you. You don't have to worry about this. In my opinion works best with movies that were produced post two thousand five because that is when the quality quality of his film reduced greatly and he became the producer of almost every film he made. Now you have to call out when any of these things happen and the person who doesn't call it out they have to drink. The drink is up to you. You do shots beer. You can do shots of liquor. I think shots of something hard. Probably people will die but these are the things you have to look for and then call outs for one. Drink the wondering penalty you Steven Seagal named comes up on the screen. Such as writer producer. Director Rector Star gaffer. Whatever you have to call it out and if someone doesn't call it out quick enough they have to drink? If within the movie in his dialogue he talked about honor. Someone has to drink uses Japanese. Now Steven Seagal Japanese is very very good is basically perfect he. He lived in Japan for many years. He ran his own AIKIDO. Joe But that means every now and then in a film he likes to show off a bit in he does sort of adopt some some really crap philosophy stuff so if he speaks Japanese talked about honor call it out. Someone doesn't call it out. They gotTA drink. If Steven seagal wears yellow tinted shooting glasses or he wears dark sunglasses indoors. Call it out. Someone doesn't have to drink if he's wearing body armor to hide. Hide his fat if he wears a long coat to hide his fat if he sits with his arms across his front to try to hide his fat. Call that out. Someone doesn't they have to drink if a new the scene starts in the film Steven Seagal has already seated so he doesn't have to walk across the set. Call it out. Someone else has to drink. If before Steven Seagal all fights he puts his hands up like he's holding two tiny teacups. Call it out. Someone doesn't call they have drink wondering if he flips a man out of the way with seemingly no effort or he does several slaps which incapacitates him in call it out. Someone was calling wondering if his opponent falls into an object and object check breaks. Call it out so it doesn't call it.

"There had been some graffiti in judo socks which i guess was the final stab stab in the back because i didn't see that coming i mean this was true in jitsu because i did not see the attack and it it it really got me. I was not ready for it but if you want to hear about fighting questions can a._b. You'll have to actually go back in the library and listen to those 'cause. I probably won't be doing those core questions again unless it's very specific to something the thing that's interesting. I'm wondering why the question asker though who would win in a fight a black belt in jitsu or judas actually don't know of ninja to has belt be honest. He says that the same system because again is not real but i'm wondering why they chose those two specific arts because jujitsu is a very real thing we have have resilient jitsu competitions and stuff and those guys are all. It's a tough sport. I mean not don't take anything away from them one if they did it because they both have jitsu in the name they chose them because they have similar names. I don't know the answer and quite frankly. I don't really care if you would like to hear my opinion on eight versus be martial art versus martial art or something like that you will have to now send in a question i just i'm not gonna do it from cora because the core questions <hes> they just go on and on and on it's there's a lot of repeat questions and i don't wanna get us into a rut. I know that second very interesting listen to but if you would like something specific answered you can send a message to veloce peter on twitter. You can send an email to veloce podcasts at gmail.com. I would be happy to answer your questions. If you ask me a question seriously or sarcastically i we'll take it just as seriously either way <hes> because kind of what i do core question what are the fundamental laws about human nature and and i think one that we don't want to admit as often as we should is that some people are dick's the law statistics numbers in our world. Is that x amount of people in the world at any one time. Our dicks are kind of assholes are not people you should be spending your time with your not people should waste your time on the other laws of human nature is that morality is not really a thing morality is mutable. It changes one day. I might do the right thing for the right reason and the next day because circumstances stances changed. I will not do that thing because my thinking has changed or the circumstances have changed and not it's just the reality so honestly honestly there are not going to be many people in the world. You can count on someone you think would help you one day. They're not gonna be there tomorrow. So some people are dicks and you can't trust other the people and you can only rely on yourself and that's really been a bit of a downer but it's the kind of thing if you go in that way the people who are kind dan loyal and honest and good knowing there there will make your life a lot better core question. How do i find a japanese girl i. I think that's a weird question because you can find a lot of them in japan. I don't know where the person has question is but clearly they got some issue. They they probably have fetish is japanese girl. That's probably the first problem and so what the really asking. Where can i find my fetish and that's a harder thing to answer because the fetish you have probably for the most part is not real. If you are looking for japanese girls specifically in your area you would probably have to go to where japanese girls would go and they would go to the same places a lot of girls. I if they're outgoing types you might go to clubs or bars or you might find in some kind of club that would appeal to japanese girls and go there. <hes> you might spend time at exchange programs could volunteer. You can meet some japanese girls. That's a bit predatory worry though because if you're going to volunteer at an exchange program or something in the attempt to get a girlfriend which i think.

"Just a note before we begin. Engineers Japan will be going on hiatus data's for about two maybe three weeks as I go off to Canada for the Japanese summer vacation in August. The benefit is when I get back I will be able to cherry pick two weeks worth of news so when we get back she'd be only the most interesting stories it's not like. I'm trolling for stories but honestly most weeks. There is more than enough have to talk about. I don't really run out while I am gone. You could visit engineers. Japan dot com and I will be posting fairly regular guy who lays things outposts. If you don't know what those are it's a mini project that goes along with engineers. Japan bright take these shots from the Japanese News News of contraband most of the time <hes> things that have been taken from an arrested suspect and they lay them out and they always do the same thing. They lay them out on a a blue tarp so that people can take pictures of them. It's almost an ongoing art installation at this point so if you check Ninjas Japan dot com if I can I we'll also post them to the facebook group but it depends on how much access to computers the whole point of me going to Canada. He's really for me to get out into the forest in Canada where I don't really have computers or access or internet or anything like that. This is really me disconnecting from everything you can send messages on twitter too at noon news Japan or you can send emails emails to Veloce podcast at Gmail Dot. Com and I will not get them for at least two weeks but I will get them when I get back because that's how the Internet works. They don't just disappear. There's no sort of time limit statute of limitations that goes along with these messages so if you are desperate over the next two weeks please note that you can listen to old episodes. Yes the news is not exactly fresh but the commentary is just relevant now as it was when it was recorded so you can download the whole back catalogue. If you really lonely for for my dulcet tones in your ears or if you haven't tried out veloce podcast you can try out the other podcast. I run called Veloce podcast. You can search for it. <hes> by going to Veloce podcast or you could go to veloce. Peter Dot Com in your subscription options are all there on with the news the Comedians who got in trouble for doing a show for Yakusas. This has been a three week story now. I'm really interested in the follow ups because the talent agency that said they were fools and we're going to punish them. In a couple of them got fired. They have walked all that back after public outcry. If you listen to episode eighty from about two weeks ago I do a breakdown of the power dynamic of the talent agency the Comedians and the coups in this situation and actually the comedians come out as more victims than anyone else what seems I am not alone because there was a certain amount of public backlash as these comedians were taken off the air and they were in their contracts were canceled and they basically couldn't work anymore. The president and chairman of the talent agency that runs all these comedians both have taken a fifty percent pay cut for one year so they're basically giving back back fifty percent of their salary for this year in order to take responsibility for this situation so now you have the talent agency was blaming the COMEDIANS and calling them foolish and calling him stupid and now what has happened as a result is they've actually had to give back half their salary. I'm sure fifty percent of their salary is more more than enough anyways to live on. I don't think these guys are giving up very much. I think if they really wanted to punish them they would take away all their salary and then he would may be actually understand what it's like for the Comedians who have to live without any sort of source of income for a while it came out when two comedians had a press conference now they actually said in in their press conference and this is what's bad for the company that the company told them to not have a press conference not discussed this situation or they would punish punish their friends so that's when they were saying this is starting to get really suspect because they really want this to stop and go away so basically the company's punishing you and if they don't talk about it anymore. WE'RE GONNA punish people more but that's when you know maybe things have started to get out of hand for the company. The things aren't really going the way they wanted it to what they want us to punish you you have everyone go dead silent in that the end of it and then they get to keep all the money and all the power and they don't have to give back fifty percent of their salaries say sorry having press conferences to say sorry sorry to the fans to apologize for your behavior to try to make things up to people is very very standard practice in Japan so the fact that they told him not to do that is actually already a little little suspicious now that it's all gotten out there. These leaders of this company are being have to give back fifty percent of their salary. The question that I have is who are they. They giving the salary back to 'cause if it's back to the company then it's back to the company that they run so. I'm assuming that money's just essentially sitting in escrow for another year and then they're going to get back later in some other way so I'm not really convinced that they're being punished in any real way. I think fifty percent of their salary go to the COMEDIANS. They tried to punish so they never or do. These acoustic parties again is probably the best situation but also probably never. GonNa have North Korea has shot what some more missiles over or by Japan. They've just landed into water as they usually do. This is very disconcerting for Japan and it's coming in a very weird time. There's a lot of stuff going on right now between Japan and both Koreas Japan and South Korea Right now. We're in a bit of a trade dispute. Japan said we're not going to give you some of the materials materials that you need from us like metals and things for your industries and this has made career really angry and they're fighting back and so basically right now relations between the two countries are a bit tense so this is when Russia decides to be a bit of a Dick and start flying bombers into South Korean airspace to see to basically test the limits because there is a pact that Japan will help South Korea if there's any sort of invasive force but since they're having so many problems Russia rush decides our just because pushed the buttons and see what happens a little bit here and North Korea then decides to get in on the party as well and Sal. Well shoot some rockets over see if anyone gets upset. This is basically just everyone in this situation. Japan South Korea North Korea and Russia all being dicks to each other in the hopes that someone will crack the whole luckily no-one his cracked yet but trade is down between the two countries and Japan and South Korea are very strong trade partners and it's actually really bad for both countries for this to happen but there is is no easy solution because both countries are holding onto incredibly long grudges from the past the missiles from North Korea stated did they seem to be new types of missiles now since they land in the ocean. I actually don't know if they explode or not. They say they landed in the ocean. They don't say how much damage that does. They don't say if they blow up <hes> because they don't pose a threat because I think if they did blow up that would actually be an act of war so as they are just shooting stuff into the Ocean Shing Inigo while we were just testing are rockets that has never led to an actual direct confrontation what I'm wondering though as has Japan ever scooped those missiles out of the ocean because I don't know how possible that is but if it is they could actually see what technologies North Korea actually using the Americans would certainly be interested in it. I assume the technology is significantly lower level than technology used in these sort of first world nations but at the same time it is good to know what what your enemies are working with so as usual everything between Japan Korea South Korea North Korea and Russia is very tense and as usual. We're also waiting for things just break. I'm hoping it doesn't because my belief is always been if Japan and South Korea could get together and be proper economic partners they would become the economic powerhouse of the world but the first thing you'd have to do is put away all this childish bullshit they have between them and that is is virtually impossible. There are some new politicians who've been voted into the Diet new lawmakers and they have disabilities abilities one of them's in a wheelchair and they have decided to make accommodations and facilities to assist these new lawmakers enacting their duties which is really great because it means now the Diet. The government of Japan is being more inclusive because the fact that these facilities weren't in place before show that this is just never been part of the political process. This is actually actually a really big step forward. There was a statement made the political process in the Diet will no longer be determined only by healthy people anymore. Now that sounds way better Japanese it does in the English translation but I think by calling them. Only healthy people is actually a bit of a negative statement is kind of a backhanded compliment but at the same time it is a step forward and that's the thing to kind of focus on so even if people make gaffes and translations or the translation doesn't come across as smoothly and English as it would in Japanese because it just says like now they're being more inclusive Japanese the irony though for me is they still seem to have problems with women so they're making all these accommodations for for people with disabilities to be able to function in the Diet and actually have a political career <hes> but if a woman has a baby they actually still shout at her and tell her to go home and you know do women's work so there while this is a step forward there is still a lot more that could be done for Japan to become a progressive and truly equal nation or they could just get rid of those pesky women so this is only weird because we have two stories around. They're both involved forty year old men. In their forty s not just forty year old man. The first one is a forty three year old man decided it was important enough to throw down with a forty four year old man and and he busted up his face he actually maybe broke his nose and the police are saying he has to go to the hospital. They measure these assaults in how many weeks it will take you to recover so they're saying a couple of weeks to recover. That's actually pretty serious because it means two weeks may be in the hospital certainly before he can go back to work so you're probably wondering the bitter leaving out is why did they throw down. Why was someone smacking someone else in the face? Why do these two adult mature men feel the need to get cra magnet on each other and fight fight? Well let me tell you okay Mongo so they were near a gym so they never said specifically that this was the issue but they were both near a gym and they're both playing playing pokemon. Go in these two adult forty year old men ended up in a fistfight and it seems like the only motivation they could have pokemon Ongo see. I just thought those stories were finished. We had the problem with people doing it while driving <hes> some kids got hit by cars they put on a limiter. You're on it. So if you're in your car you weren't supposed to be able to use the program but people just started driving really slow because that's not creepy at all and then of course there were sort of poking Mongo related things <hes> <hes> these stories were pretty common in that all of a sudden it just kind of disappeared because the game wasn't as popular it used to be but now we still got these people out there playing and they're adults and they're just is not behaving like adults so everyone stopped punching each other in the face overbooking Mongo find a better game to play that is the I of course of the stories I mentioned a forty six year old man has repeatedly broken into a female co Workers House and he claims to have done this dozens of times times and he used a copy keys broke into his bid generous for the term now he is of course breaking and entering because he's not supposed to be in there but he's got a key now. I don't know how we got the key they said did he managed to copy of the key but he works with this person so maybe he got her key copied it launch and then put it back where it was being kept. I don't know those are all suppositions. It's irrelevant to the story. All that we know is that he did this. Dozens of times he admitted he broke into her house and what he was doing was peeing into her face lotion now peeing peeing into her face lotion is not clear enough for me. I want to know if he broke into the house with no equipment other than the key and then took the top off Lucien N._N._p.. Directly into it or did he prepare in advance in pee into a vial and then get to the House and then Pour The pee into the lotion because this is the kind of mechanics that will make this story more understandable and relatable to me because it it just tells me if it's like the difference between first degree murder order in third degree murder because in the moment something happens but if there's planning if there's a lot of planning to it it is just terribly worse planning makes things worse if you're committing committing crimes and I think that's fair the fact that he did it doesn't at times. Also you know multiplies the magnitude of how awful this is now. Why did he pee into her lotion? At first some of the stories said it's because he could claim her as his own and then at first they were making it sound like he believed in some kind of Juju Voodoo stuff stuff where if he peed in it and she got the stuff on her face she would then fall in love with him but then more clear translations came along and I got more details and he said specifically.

"Turn this into a dream interpretation podcast and everyone would get really excited about it but he was at my office and the elevator door was opening so I was clearly waiting to get on the elevator. I assume I had pressed the button and call the elevator to my floor on the elevator. There were a lot of people and and there was a gentleman on the elevator who is holding a slice of pizza in his mouth the whole slice and he was holding it in his teeth from the crust so the triangle part was jutting outward and somehow he had managed to get such a good grip grip on it that it was pointing straight out now I stepped onto the elevator and he did not move backwards so as the doors closed. The tip of the pizza touched my lips now. I don't know if I actually tasted the pizza and my dream but but as I woke up later I felt like I had I felt like I really had tasted some pizza. I didn't WanNA taste so we in the dream. I then slapped the pizza out of his mouth and this is where it becomes fuzzy because it somehow immediately we became a court case so I slapped the peace out his mouth to went flying to the right and I as the must've been other people on the elevator. I can't remember that's kind of a fog part as well but we then were immediately transported to court and I was trying trying to decide after I woke up because that's pretty much the dream ended. We got to court. Maybe there was some proceedings. I don't remember that part very well but I woke up fairly soon afterwards. Would this be assault or would it be self defense because I actively hit the pizza out of his mouth. I didn't hit him but the pizza was in his teeth so maybe the energy could have transferred through the pizza and hurt his teeth or injured him in some way that way in which case it might be called assault or because the pizza touched my lips I was I actually defending myself. If you want to cast your vote you can send me a message ADV veloce Peter on twitter or veloce podcast at gmail.com and I want to know what the people think did Peter Commit Dream assault assault or did Peter Commit Dream self-defense. I bought some of my own t shirts some of my own merch to give to my friends because that'd be really on is not a lot of people are buying which is fine. I didn't actually think anyone would by it. I set up the t shirt store because there was a deal where if I set up a store I got a free t shirt with my own podcast on us. Basically I set this up. I got one free t shirt. That was a great deal and I was really happy about it. Then I realized oh I could actually give people merch from myself twelve and since I get paid for each shirt I sell it's Kinda just like a discount rate for buying t shirts I was on board with all of this so I bought some friends from t shirts but they were sent out and they never arrived so I sent an email all the company t public and they immediately said thanks for letting US know we'll reprinted t shirts. That's very good customer service. I've given a shout out for that. If you're going to do merge I mean the t shirts still haven't arrived yet but that's not the point. The point is I said there was a problem and they decided to take care of the problem immediately and just make it as painless as possible so they have printed replacement t shirts and they have been sent out to me. Hopefully U._P._S.. Will Not fuck it up again and these my package. The problem is there is a package. Package of t shirts now in the world so it's got about four five t shirts in it. It's just a a sumo relatively normal looking Manila envelope and I wondered myself what happened to those t shirts I mean are they sitting on a shelf in warehouse somewhere are they in the back of U._P._S.. Truck and they've just been stuck in a corner have they been lost to eternity. Has One of the workers stolen the bag found out they were t-shirts and is now wearing the loss of podcast merch because that's the weird thing because I know exactly how many t shirts have sold and it's exactly how many I've bought so if I see someone wearing veloce podcast t-shirt the one I actually bought this time was actually the chunk beef chest academy of Martial Art Shirt. It's a good good one. You should check it out. It's actually way better than the actual podcast shirt I made but if I go out in the world and now sees someone wearing a chunk beef chest academy of martial arts t shirt I know he didn't buy it. I know that came came from my stolen package so I'm just thinking about the existence of things in the world because they're still there they still exist and they're still real but there is kind of quantum existence now where no one knows they are so they don't really exist and they're not going to exist until someone finds them and when someone finds them. They're not actually supposed to send them to me anymore. I assume it's supposed to return them to the t shirt company public that made them but if they return them to public. What are they going to do with them? Are they gonNA wear loss podcast merch around the office because of the did that'd be fine again. I'm okay with people wearing my t shirts and advertising the podcast even though it doesn't advertise the podcast because it's actually my Gamertag and has nothing to do with the podcast at all but it is sold through the podcast cast merch shop. I just wonder where everything is sometimes so in a class I teach we were actually talking about the negative impact of media violence on children media media violence on people in general so the general consensus in the world not used to be T._v. and movies that too much T._v.. And movie violence was bad for people it negatively influenced them in this case. We're actually talking about MANGGA. The negative of influence the violence and mango could have negative impact on kids in their development and mentality then finally and of course most recently because the advent video games and how popular they've become the violence in video games because most of the game mechanics tend to be about violence shooting people and whatnot that this is also bad for kids so we've actually seen over the course of history violence exposure to violence is bad for people but each media that comes up this new blamed for the effect of violence being mad on people even though we've seen positive negative effects from the past because you've actually seen people talk about movie violence negatively impacting people anymore. They moved onto video game so they're trying to blame something. Even though we have something that they blamed before there was just no proof proof. There's no causal link between the two things any real way. This brought up an interesting point because my students generally were saying yes too much violence in media Mangga TV movies and whatnot is bad. You shouldn't be exposed to that much violence but then I pointed out I actually pay to practice violence for real. I actually joined judo club. Join a martial arts club. I actually do violence on other people on a regular basis basis. I don't watch it and absorbed. I actually do it and I try to get better at it and yet people tend to think that's a good thing in fact they call it healthy. It's part of my healthy lifestyle because it's exercise but the exercise very very very specifically is committing violent acts on other people in actually now that I've gotten to a high level where I'm a black belt and whatnot people find it admirable that I am so good at actual violence so there's an interesting being disconnected. I hadn't actually put together myself before we talk and talk and talk about violence exposure to violence in media in fictional way but there's never any real discussion about real violence being enacted on other people in actual people's lives because somehow we see the actual active practicing violence on each other as a good thing whereas sitting around and watching violence is a bad thing to action. Action Movies have to try to be original. Sometimes they have to try to do something different from other action movies. This is one of the problems action movies there's actually only so much action. We can do action wise. If we talk about chases. We have foot chases car. Chases motorcycle chases airplane chases boat chases maybe helicopter chases and then the worst one of all the C do chase now. I think C._D.'s might be called different things in different areas but it's it's those single or dual writer things that go around. I assume the name came from ski do in the Ocean now at some point. This should have stopped. There has never ever been an exciting CDU chase scene in a movie. You might think Oh there was a C._d.. Chase in this movie and that movie was good but the C do chase was the worst part of that movie and I'm trying to imagine anyone who from this point for we're going into the future actually stops and things putting another CDU race a CDU chase into their movie as a good idea because they have to stop at some point in think this time it'll be cool and their role. It's not going to be cool. It's going to be weird and boring and no one wants to see it. No one wants to see a c do chase another CDU or a c do chase a boat and if you paint them all black that doesn't make them look evil and why isn't as an evil organization buying multiple CDs anyways it does not make any sense the see doing itself basically doesn't make sense. Why are we chasing people on them? That makes even less sense your criminal organization or your massive Evil Corporation or something. If it's starting to spend money on CDs you have gone horribly awry. Your Accounts Department should come up and speak to you about where funds are going because a single helicopter for the price of the fifty CDs. You have patrolling your island island for some reason would be a far far more sensible investment so realistically this is not a good choice and even fiction wise. It's not a good choice because they don't look good and they don't look exciting because if if you turn a CDU quickly it doesn't skid it to spray some water and no one cares and only do spags ride those things anyways. If you're in any of the positions writer director producer of a film and one of your cohorts the triumvirate comes to you and says I think we need a C do seen in this movie slap them and fire them immediately because they clearly have just lost track of reality. This is one of those things were maybe in the world of Hollywood or media in general you lose touch with reality and start to think that all your ideas are good when you've run out of ideas you start to think things like hey. I haven't seen a C do chase in awhile that might be a good idea. It's not in your movies bad. There have been several incidences of people making cultural appropriation claims on the Internet and it's one that I'm starting to have some questions about because we need a clear definition of what cultural corporation is there was the one that is most memorable. There's actually to in my mind. One is some little girls dressed up I believe in Japanese Kimonos and stuff and had a tea party and some people on the Internet started saying that was cultural appropriation because it was a bunch of little white girls in middle suburban America and then the one I found more amusing because it actually ends up being less political correct was a girl wore a Chinese style dress to her prom or graduation or something thing and a lot of people said that that was cultural appropriation because she wasn't Chinese but then someone who lived in China took the picture around and said like is this okay is this cultural appropriation this acceptable to people on the street in China Lina and again the very non P._C.. Answer the this one guy looked at it goes the problem. Isn't the girl wearing the dress the problem is the girls too fat to where the dress so you can see that cultural appropriation might be sort of a first world world modern issue. That isn't really an issue anywhere else. I think there's a lot of countries where if you wore their clothes they'd be quite happy that you were actually wearing their clothes and taking an interest in their culture but the first issue I think. Think of when I think of cultural appropriation that are you only allowed to enjoy things or do things that a representative of your culture so I was born in Ireland. Can I only do Irish things and I grew up in Canada which is to be on is not a particularly different culture. It's a very white culture but then can. I only do Canadian Slash Irish thing so I have more options than the average Canadian because I was born into different country or four is a cultural appropriation for me to do Canadian things because I don't think it is because I grew up there because you would assume I'm Canadian before you would assume Irish because I don't have an accent. I only lived there when I was a baby. Don't remember it all that's gone as far as everyone's concerned but but I am incredibly white from that view. It seems almost impossible because I couldn't enjoy very much music. I would only be able to listen to sea shanties. It seems to be the only culturally appropriate music for me to listen to which isn't bad actually do enjoy good shanty now and then I don't sing them but you know they break out on their own. When I'm around boats so I tend to join in and somehow I know all the words to every one of them but then I've had my children and my children are half me and half Japanese so you could say Irish Canadian Japanese or something <hes> again actually honestly think that might be relevant are they only allowed to enjoy Japanese things because they wear western Western clothes? They don't wear traditional Japanese close all the time. Is that cultural appropriation. I don't think anyone believes it is then we get into the real question that kind of brought to mind because it's kind of always about wearing clothes because it's very visual thing it's something it's easy to point. How is something that easy to tear apart on the Internet but I practiced judo is wearing a judo suit cultural appropriation because I have to wear it to enjoy the sport but if I could only enjoy sports from my own culture which does seem to be along the same lines of the thinking here so then the only sport I would be allowed to.

"You just have more options with the torso being human then with the lower part being human because the problem with the lower part being human in the top part being fish is that's the part I think thank you actually end up interacting with you. Look at the torso. What during most of the acts you try to look into the fish is in here's now suddenly the I thought I have is you're kind of doing it from behind and the fish is are actually looking back at you because they're they're worried about predators so they can look at you directly when you do that that that would be a big turnoff for me in that situation? If you're doing it sort of missionary style to regular way you are looking at the fish face the fish torso and that that is not something. I want to look at so that doesn't turn me on so I think you are just generally given more satisfying options if you use the human torso in the fish tale because there's enough stuff you can. Hindu you are missing. Maybe one element which some people would consider sort of the game changer or the home run as it were but I don't think that's actually a big problem because there's enough alternatives to that. That would still be just as satisfying if you have a different opinion please feel free to tweet at veloce peter or send an email to veloce podcast at gmail.com and I will disagree with you. I had an ex girlfriend and I I was actually talking to a friend the university and he knew me when I was dating this girl and he actually said I'm talking to that girl on the other side in a different Chad. Would you like to talk to each other and they've been long enough that there are no hard feelings. I was more than happy to talk to her and find out how she was doing and we ended up talking for a really long time. It was nice to reconnect with someone who is a big part of my life for very long time. The problem was she started reminiscing talking about the good times we had together and all this stuff and she started realizing that you know I'm a wonderful guy and then she hit the phrase what happened to us now. That didn't play well with me because what happened to us was in here was my response. Well you dumped to me. You said I wasn't a real man. I think you said that to be particularly hurtful. Because at that time I was young man and I had been training in the martial arts. All this shit that you've heard a million times before but clearly being a manly man was a big part of my personality personality so I think you chose that to hurt my feelings and this is the problem with reminiscent because what they're trying to do is remember all the good times and think about things in a really positive light but that is not as true for the dumpy as it is for the dumper. If you've dumped someone you can say you broke up because it's the better it was the better choice you can think about it that way without too much problem if you've got dumped. If you got rejected that will taint every memory you have connected to that relationship so we had all these wonderful times but that still wasn't good enough for you. We had all these wonderful experiences but that didn't make you actually love me that kind of thing now us breaking up was absolutely the right decision because we started dating when I was in my early twenty s by the time we run our mid to late twenties we had changed as people we were different people but I was a very loyal boyfriend. I would have stayed with her forever. I have no question and that would have been a mistake for both of us so I'm actually now in retrospect glad she broke up with me which is really weird thing to say but if because I never would have done it I never would have broken up with her. So we probably would have stayed together and again our personalities would have changed more and more would probably been less <hes> viable as a match but at the same time. I was not going to let her sit there and reminisce about. How great everything was when the reality was? She broke up with me and she did it in quite of a cold harsh way because she being again the dumper probably doesn't remember it that way and if you WANNA reminisce with people it's fine to do. It's fun fun when people start getting nostalgic romantic about the idea. It's a little drop reality to put in there to make sure that they stay on track that they know where they are because there are a lot of breakup that are ugly person doing the break-up break-up is the one who forgets about that ugliness I because they just left a situation and usually left you with the emotional baggage so most of the memories that she were taught that she was talking about yes they were good memories but they were all tainted and I knew they were not fond memories for me because they were all affected by the later event of her telling me I wasn't a man and it was one of those weird moments where they say something to you like you should agree with them like you know I i WanNa real man. You know what I mean and then you're supposed to I think like and like there's some sort of weird expectation that you're going to go yeah. I do know what you mean. I certainly am not manly enough for you but the reason she chose that statement in the moment and again was not conscious it was not really militias is that part of her wanted to hurt my feelings. Now as the dumpy I did one of the greatest things that a dumpy is ever done. We were sitting there. She said I don't want to be with you anymore. And I said Okay and you can see there was befuddle men in confusion. She was expecting an emotional reaction now. She wanted to break up with me. That actually should have indicated that both of us neither of US really happy in the relationship she actually just came to the conclusion. The we should end this first and again I think I would not have done it. I would have tried to get through the whole thing for the rest of our lives which would have been a terrible mistake but when she said it it was a moment of relief for me and since she didn't get the emotional reaction and she wanted she actually looked at me and said what that's it which is weird because do you want to break up. That is people freaking out people having arguments and stuff or would you rather just have oh yeah that's fine. I think we agree on this. Let's move on and at the end of the day. If someone says I WANNA break up with you and you disagree with them then you have not actually given the satisfaction of knowing that they're breaking up with you and you you know it hurts you because you love them. So much we actually saying to them is yeah I feel the same way way we're done and isn't going to be a problem and the look on her face was actually probably more satisfying than if I had been mean or smart or anything else just agreeing with her meant that from that moment on she had to wonder if she had made a mistake and that's what I reminisce about the loss of philosophy veloce veloce veloce podcast the loss podcast hey sexy friend..

"But you have this fish, upper body, this fish, head in those big bulging eyes, which then suddenly becomes not attractive anymore. No one ever designed that because it only works as a joke, but the reverse center would be a human pair of legs with a horse, upper body, and clearly somehow, unacceptable society weirdly, the horse human hybrid is not acceptable or attractive. It was never made up in mythology. Whereas the horse body. Hewitt torso hybrid was somehow acceptable. But we get to the same problem, the same point whereas why was the central created in the first place. What purpose did they serve in mythology because every aspect of the is horrendous gross, an awful and completely unacceptable to anyone break, the only thing they have left going for them would be if they had some sort of magical power. So I said again, I don't think centre should be able to fly by themselves. I don't think they should be able to do magical things because I don't think they deserve to have any inherent magic. I don't think they deserve to exist at all. I think we've established that, but they don't get to be half horse, half Houben and also magical. Let's just seem silly. As I said, Sean sent me some pictures of centers, the one where it's like an x Ray of the scalp. The one where it's like a skeleton of center and the reverse hybrid is actually going to be posted at the same time. So if you listen to this, please, visit Veloce Peter dot com. "Mean we've been riding horses. For generations. Yes. That doesn't mean the horses are happy about it. It's not. It doesn't mean that's what they want send tours having that sort of level of sentence, that we ascribe to them, they don't want it either, only they would have the ability to run and go dude. Get off my back only for the first time in all of history, it would be literal. So one more core question, just because again, I found another one, and this was interesting because it was a question I hadn't taken into account if a center is lactating does the baby slash full drink from the human nipples or the horse nipples, which is a great question. I hadn't thought about that we have to ascribe to the send toward children, the same sort of ratio of traits that we do to the adults, they would be born and much like a horse, I assume they'd be able to stand up and move around very quickly. Maybe they can't talk much, but you wouldn't have like a human baby is almost helpless. You have to carry it around, and it takes ages for it to learn how to move independently the center or babies probably could get up and start walking around just like. A full could maybe they'd be confused and lost and still kind of mentally not sailed, but that's normal, but taking into account the size, and I assume also the weight, so humid male could probably pick up a baby horse pro but not for very long. They start to grow very quickly. They're very big animals. So a center would probably have just as much trouble picking up a baby center on holding it to their nipples. So I would have to assume that baby said tours have to drink milk from the horse nipples only because that's where they would be located. They would be able to walk around, and they would have the ability to drink from that naturally, but that leads me to a secondary question, does the center lactate from both sets of memory glands because this takes us into a question we're going to deal with next. They have redundant systems because they have a torso and the horse body. So they have memory glands on the torso memory glands on the horse body. If you're lactating in one set of glands, would you. Be lactating in the other set of glands, instinctually, I would say, yes, which means these poor center, women would be lactating, and have very little relief. We're talking about mythological animals, so they didn't have breast pumps and stuff. So maybe they're feeding other animals from their human nipples at the same time. But all I can really see is that it would probably be very uncomfortable for the said, tour women during the lactating process. So centers is always a question is bothering me because where did they come from? How did they start as a concept? Now, my initial thought is always, it's a drunk person because I think all miss came from someone who's just off the dome in some way. So my image is there some drunk guy sitting in a field, and he sees someone right up on a horse, but the horse's head moves down, and he starts eating some grass or something many, basically, just sees maybe a horse, body and human torso. In his highly Medicated mind, or or having his vision affected by alcohol. He thinks that, that's a single creature and thus the myth of the centers board you can tell it had to happen, very suddenly because there was no real thought put into the physiology of the center. So Sean, a friend of mine knows about my weird obsession with hating centers because they're awful and gross. And no one should ever like them. And sent me a picture in the picture is what set off this whole episode, and it was kind of an x Ray the skeleton of what a center would look like the first thing you have to conceive of is the two sets of ribcages now I will post the image. He sent me on Veloce Peter dot com, so you can see it there. Ribcages survey specific function in the ribcage is like a casing that protects the organs that are held with him, so you have in your rib-cage. You have your heart, your lungs, kind of a lot of your made bits. The horse has the same thing, so you have the horses ribcage in it's got the horse heart in the horse lungs, in all those things in there. The send tour judging from his physiology has a redundant set of systems. The question is, does it have one circulatory system, or to circulatory systems that are connected? Because that brings us to some interesting questions, having redundant organs, does it mean I could shoot a centurion the heart, too humid, heart, and it wouldn't die because it has a backup heart. The horse heart that still pump big and making everything work. Could I shoot the center in the horse heart in the human heart is big enough to keep it alive? Because I actually would doubt that horses a much larger animal and it needs a much larger stronger heart to keep going to survive. So if you hit the animal heart on the Senate tour, I mean, I think he could survive with the human heart, but he couldn't move anymore. He wouldn't have any sort of power left, if you took that one out so in the grand scheme of different universes. Different mythos. Oh, there's only one other species that I know of that actually has redundant organs, and that's the Cleveland so klingons have to ribcages. They have a spine with a protective covering over at spot. And this is why it's supposed to be so hard to kill. Kill cling on. They have two hearts and four loans, and everything everything we have is humans. They have two of which brings me to the very logical conclusion, it centers are just an offshoot of klingons that they are the same base species that have splintered off. So this might be why they have such a cantakerous relationship with humans because, as you know, in the Star Trek universe, the klingons, and the humans have had several wars, they've gone back and forth. They've been allies, they've had wars, but it's never been a simple relationship. So that could mean that we as humans humanity, we have a problem with beings with redundant organs, having the multiple hearts also equates to another animal. We know of the worm, so, you know, a worm has several hearts, and if you cut it in half it actually becomes two separate worms. So this is an interesting theory because, now if you have a center, and you cut off the human torso with. Grow into two more centers because that doesn't seem possible, but it does have all the functioning parts or do both have survive because they still have all the bits. They kind of need the human part actually technically should be able to survive by itself, but wouldn't have legs. But it would have all the things that needs to function, the horse part loses its brain. So it'd be kind of brain dead. So the horse part would die as, as I look at the different aspects of the center, I realized there's just more and more questions that need to be asked that haven't been answered by history mythology. When it comes to these creatures because what I started designing my own center is okay. We need an animal human hybrid. What's something that makes sense? It seemed to me it would make more sense. If you had the horse body with just very long neck in a human head, so not the torso part. You don't have human arms and human chest or anything like that. You just have a long neck, almost like a giraffe with a human head stuck on top. So be a shorter version. So let's say you have the horse body in that a two foot long neck in this little human head on top that would be more sensible animal to create. If you're creating some kind of hybrid animal to function in your mythology, but I think what they wanna do when they started creating centers next actually wanted to use them. They wanted to be able to act somewhat like you had being so we could have some sort of relationship with them, so they wanted to have arms and hands with opposable thumbs. So they could create manipulate things because they're seen as often demonstrated as being able to hunt and shoot bows, the kind of things that you'd be able to do on a whore, which was exactly the problem, I had with turbo team because he physically could transform into a car, every problem, he can solve in his car form. He could also solve by having a car. So every problem is send tour could solve could probably be solved just as efficiently by having a horse and a human being. In fact, you have more options if you. Owned a horse and use it that way that having a center because I could probably get off my horse and sneak into a place because I'm a much smaller being now. Whereas a central could do that. So they're limited by their size, because they're always going to be at least horse size sent tours may be physically more powerful, but I think they would only be physically more powerful in the horse parts. So they could kick with the power of a horse and that could probably kill some, but I have a horse and I could train my horse to kick someone. If it walks behind them, thus still maintaining that ability, so not only are said towards stupid dumb and horrible. They're also unnecessary, and maybe that's even the more or offensive part because it's one thing to be horrible and awful in gross in existence. It's a whole other thing to be completely unnecessary. Which is what centers are, they are unnecessary unneeded and quite frankly unwanted, as a concept in the universe. And then my second thought is there's different kinds of horses. Most of which I would know the names of because send doors of turned me off horses so much I haven't even bothered to learn any of them, except the Shetland pony, which I know is a very, very tiny horse. Now is it possible to have a Shetland tour? So this tiny useless garbage said tour just demonstrating to the world that the only value a center, actually has is, it's hor- size because once you shrink it down to Shetland pony size, it's just a piece of garbage Senator so centers, then start proving themselves to be completely lacking value because the only have going for them is their size, and then we have big humid's, and so those big humans could supplant it serve the same purposes as the center, and then it could ride a horse. The final thing to actually dress to actually talk about to actually think about is what happens when you get the reverse in tour. So this has been done many times, with mermaids the ideas that the torso is a human female, and it's very attractive. It's almost like. Song. They can't resist the urge to be close to it. But then you have the fish bottom, which is how they're able to swim in the water so, well, but of course that is where the genitalia and the Oregon, the sexual reproduction organs are, which is the bit that the sailors actually would have been interested in. So if you reverse that, so the sailors could actually have sex with the mermaid, you have these beautiful legs genitalia and whatnot..

"Oh well, eight hundred time to go. I gotta go by. Right, just right. The room we are. All right. And finally, Ryan, we wanna play game with you. It is called Veloce Peter scooter. You want to explain. Yeah. So in the Washington Post, the Christopher Ingram wrote this sort of article about how the new debate is about. They'll these scooters like the lime and birds scooters up. He was just leave on the streets in if they're safe or not, and realize that this same kind of thing happened with the Veloce peed the big wheel in the front bicycle, the the predecessor to the bicycle late nineteenth century. Yeah, exactly. And that the the same criticisms like are very similar. It's like two wheeled menaces blazing down the city streets inside walks piloted by thrill seekers, with little evident concern for their own safety or that of others. So they put together some quotes to find out if this is a quote from the time of the philosophy or an op Ed about now in the bird scooter. So I won the new two wheel. Transportation options are no casual amusement. That's the. Lhasa Veloce the first one. The Veloce relative bike? Yeah, actually, it's about the scooter. Oh, yes. That was from one. Yeah. A little old time. Yeah, no casual amusement. What about this? The most senseless in ridiculous mania that ever took hold of the public. That's kind of velociraptor the wlaz meet going with that one also paid. And yes, you're correct attributed to an American newspaper writer. Commenting on bicycling in eighteen sixty nine mazing. Next one. These vandals are destroying our desecrating the vehicles in disturbingly, imaginative waves and celebrating their legal deeds. That's the scooter. Yeah. Yeah, because we saw people people were throwing them the fuck and see. That's crazy to me. They're like, you hate like people not driving cars as much. You're going to throw these rights. It's shortsighted. It's just like some Niebler met some weird Luddite type Shiva scooter. Do not recognize this thing must be away. But yeah, I think also people like loc- specially in the west side, though people like are very Nimby ish like in Venice in like Santa Monica. Like if that shit's like on in front of your house, you're like it's dropping the property value. Right, right, right. Exactly. And is it I feel like it's a, it's your neighborhoods. Cool..
