Anything, there's a picture of anything you can put on your phone. Well, Apple announced yesterday that arizonans can now store their driver's license on their phone. Apple said Colorado, Hawaii, Mississippi, Ohio, and Puerto Rico are about to follow suit. That's in addition to 7 states that Apple announced last year will eventually support this feature, Connecticut, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, and Utah. Here's how this works. And I'm going to play, I'm going to explain this. And then I want you to call me and give me your honest reaction. And there's two words I want you to keep in the back of your brain. If you live in Arizona, you can scan the front and back of your driver's license or your official ID, then you take a video selfie to authenticate that you're the person on the driver's license, according to axios. That image is then sent to the state motor vehicle department for verification. I'll bet that won't cost taxpayers much money. Oh, no, that's probably an easy process. That's just almost free. Then the electronic version of your driver's license can even be used at the TSA checkpoints at the Phoenix sky harbor airport. Now, you will need your physical driver's license to fly back into Arizona. It's only flying out of Arizona that you're going to be able to use your phone. But Apple says, don't never fear. They're working with the TSA to get the digital IDs accepted at more and more airports..
