And then it gets activated either more or if it's somewhat, um, static. It gets activated from the liver, for example, upon injury so that injury causes the gene to be activated. And the gene secretes these proteins that bind to the in the case of liver deliver cells, and that starts this whole pathway. It's referred to as the wind pathway because there are many, many genes that ultimately get turned on. That have to do with making the cell divide making the cell differentiated into a very particular type of cells so it can have that function. We talked about it and have that function of making proteins. Filtering out toxins metabolizing drugs, But it's the injury initially in the liver that causes those genes to be produced. So the this wind process actually goes on in other areas of the body. Yeah, it does. It's a normal what we refer to as a normal physiologic process. It's normally happening. Not all the time and every tissue But in the intestine, it's happening all the time. And all of us like all of us, create an entirely new lining of our intestine every five or six days. The cells lining our intestine get completely replaced in five or six dates. And with the wind pathway is what Stimulates that. So it's active all the time in our intestine, So it's all over the place. Restoring and repairing. Yes, all triggered by either damaged or some something going on. Is this very new? Our knowledge of it? Well, we know quite a bit about the wind pathway itself, Um The many other contributing growth factors and pathways to the whole Oregon regenerating. So what's Sarasin doing A. So what we're trying to do is copy that normal regenerative function. But in a very targeted way and just for damaged tissue. So that process that you know we've been talking about with alcohol injury. Starting point is, Is there good information that this tissue can be restored? That it has regenerative properties? Meaning is the wind pathway there. Is it potentially can potentially be activated in that tissue, and then we ask ourselves, okay. Are there important diseases and those tissues where, theoretically, if you could make new cells or improve the function of that tissue, it would have a clinical benefit for patients. And we sort of bring together this understanding of the biology, this ability to make molecules in our case there antibodies that act like wind proteins, but only in a specific way for that tissue..
