"It feels like such a long time coming. It really does. Doesn't it yeah. I was telling rigid before this reserved recording. It's just been coming up a lot. And i'm not sure why but it seemed right. It seemed like we had to talk about it. And do you want to have this disclaimer at the top. We're totally aware that phantom can be toxic and it absolutely can be extremely toxic. Then we will touch on elements of that here in this episode. We're definitely going to talk about it more in depth in a future episode today for focusing mainly on fan fiction a little bit of fan art but mostly fan fiction for folks out there. Who don't know what ben fiction is what is it sometimes called fanfare f- f fan fiction is writing typically done by amateur but not always writers and fans the of other works usually but not always works of fiction. So you're kind of in the fan fiction world. We call it playing someone else's sandbox. And if you haven't surmised i have a lot of experience with fan fiction. Tell us more about your experience with fiction annie. Have you ever written anything fiction. I have written some fan fiction. Probably as soon as the internet was available to me. I had a friend shout out. Katie who introduced me to fan fiction. I read mostly harry potter lord of the rings some star trek. Some x-files dabbled all over the place. But harry potter was my big. And later i got into like supernatural and Star wars but. I wrote one four. I wrote a couple of harry potter ones. I wrote a star wars one. That one was the worst and peter pan one and Lord of the rings one. So yeah i have quite a bit of experience. What about you have you ever read any fan fiction. I have not written any. I have read some okay. I'm a i'm a. I guess you could call me in appreciator. yeah i think. I think it's cool. That people express themselves the fan fiction and fan art. I think cool. I feel a bit left out of nerd vandam because i am solidly like not in the mix on most of it except for x. Files spend maybe like x. Files a lot so there are a few things. But for the most part i feel a bit left out of like nerdy sci-fi fantasy vandam But i am a major appreciator of it from afar. Yes i am a phantom fan. I i am just fascinated by folks who express their love of different things the art and 'cause play and meticulous recreations and expanding universe to make it. You know what they want to see. I think that's really cool. So you can call me. A fan vande Fan fiction about doing the research on this episode while being one of the most delightful experiences of research i've ever ever gotten to do. Luckily for work also made me appreciate fan fiction a lot more many respected a lot more. So we've touched on phantoms fan. Fiction is made up of phantoms like books. Tv shows movies. You can even have a real person. Fiction are pf as sometimes called based on celebrities. And i know some of our. How stuff works colleagues have featured in some fan fiction..

"Of course you're gonna let your children have a say in what they wanna to determine their own and even just like like have hoagies and like making sure that they are doing different things not just school nice talking to you like they like the learning about themselves and there's like yeah. I completely agree. 'cause i think one thing about the education system this is a completely other topic but anyway of the education system is very limiting to people developing as an individual and actually building skills that they're going to need and live. Oh yeah and also. I think one thing. That's massive is academics for everyone. Not every single person has succeeded through academia like it's it's varying but i get it from my parents perspective because that was how they became successful. I feel like that's how they paved a life for themselves like the the educational system the way it set up. It's just it doesn't. It's like like when i left high school. I remember i had no. I had no skills. I didn't know anything about like taxes. I didn't know anything in your lifestyle and how to you know what. I mean. Like roulette problems. You didn't get any. You didn't get any of that. And i think in high school i feel like it should be thing where they kind of teach you about which posse wanna go to and what it takes to do. Those to go down that path under the so Just go to uni and these are the degrees that you you don't know what i mean like when you're fifty when we were kids we didn't know about being a producer being stream. You don't even know how people are getting getting better getting better at understanding. I'm the elders. Yep so like the pressures that. I had on at the same the same as my youngest sibling. You but still. The school system isn't Hasn't changed a little bit. It's better like i feel like it's more the kids and having access to social media which is kind of taught these things tweet actual teachers in the curriculum that we had when you share and also i think a lot of parents. There's this utah. I love his quote belief in fatherhood and he teaches. He's his kids about Basically being a black child and he really empowers them. They home school them. And there's like a lot of parents were like that not now who assigned to teach their kids like one of these life skills that you need. And they're just urban and expressive to their kids about like some of that stuff that you don't get taught in school which is so important is massively important. Because that's reality. At the end of the day it is on. Oh that's right. So i really vandam but this thing on instagram about like it was just like a thing like basically it's the couple and they were saying it was like an unpopular opinion and they're like Offense priorities the family. We created together and not. The ones became from whoa. I don't even know how to feel about that first. Priority is the family. We created the family. We came from which makes sense. So they're saying that kids get the husband and wife and the kids of the of the main priority. Not the ones that came from. It's kind of true. It is for children. Yeah it sounds a was nice written terribly. It is telling me i don't have my own kids now moment. I don't care about you. you'd say alluding to like saying that outside is being their family and friends kind of.

"Mostly. Okay, Danny, did you wind up? Get any because you know Shannon's got musky in it. Did you get any follows back up to the vote? No. No, not this time of night to get nice, musky, but I think we did bring in a couple of wall. I actually so no digits. Yes. Head for the dinner table. Right? Well, that's pretty cool. I mean, Now the how many boats were from Monica. Usually every three There are three boats. How did the other votes too? One of the other both Monica Blane, and and the other boat they had to run into so and you know it was. You know, there's nothing wrong with blanking because trust me. And I've seen Kevin Vandam and swindle and a number, you know number of other professional bass anglers. You know, zero days, you know, so I mean, it happens and it's just when you get that wind and that everything changing. It's it's October's. I mean, it's not an easy month of fish. It really isn't Well, that's that's pretty good. You did you did so well with this. That when before the you guys went out that you talked to the other team members about what they were going to try what they were thinking of, or just you and Dani. You know, Andrew and I needed you guys just kind of Figure out this is our plan. That's what we're going to do and stuff like that. I mean, he doesn't chatted with him for a little in the morning, but there is no talk about where we're going or what we're doing. What Uncle? That's pretty cool. Now that your coach for the high school what's his name? Uh okay. My dad. Captain was this what was his first name? Or our rally, and, uh, there any other coaches that help him or what? Yeah, actually poached fish and coach fun. The one that helped, But on all this, get in there also run like the Qualifying tournament for Monica. No. Very good. Very good now because you won this tournament is there. Ah, like Championship tournament that you guys are going to be part of Yeah. Andrew Andrew qualifies us for state Pretty much so. Because this is one of the qualified Yes. But I can't. I think they use state another. But that's one of qualified and we only have to do one more of them, but we don't have to do a good cause. Where are you call fun. Yeah, but you won't even do your fisherman You want to do good if you're gonna cast the lawyer, you know, I always laughed at that. When someone says, Well, you know, I only have to get one fish to qualify. Okay. You got what you if I'm going fishing? I'm going fishing. You know, it's a simple fan. It's a simple fact of that. Now. Let's talk about the way in. They did They bring you up middle of the pack where you will later, way in. What was it? Funny enough, actually, Strong water. Better did die did come in 20 minutes early. Broadway, and there's two groups one of 12 when we're second group supposed the second group of 12 15, but another boat came in early and We let them go. First National had only two fish and they're both four pounders. So they had a total of £8 is pretty pretty crazy. So we definitely thought we had some competition. At the beginning, knowing that they had the two big fish, but So you wait in second, correct? Yeah. Yeah, second because they didn't want to write, and then you had a weight 31 boats. Yeah. So you guys must have been going crazy. You were a little nervous being the five pounders in the four powers come into. Yeah, I mean it nervous. Hey, listen, and you guys have what was your total weight? 10.2 10 2. Okay, Danny, I mean, so the vote in front of ways to fish £8. And you guys go on. No. Yeah, that's pretty good..

"My guest today is David Veto Curve CEO and president of FANDOM. Ease Sports David. Thanks for joining the show and thanks for that help with pronunciation. No problems thank his. Bane of my life but elegant. Thank you. Phantom ease. Sports is entertainment company that aggregate curates and produces unique fan focus content. The company's primary product is the fan sports APP which focuses on monetize Phantom via the blaze blockchain this week. Fandom in East sports network side a letter of intent, and we're excited about potential collaborations in the future starting with this podcast. So. David you're the new CEO. Last year. We had Henry home. The previous CEO Phantom on the podcast. What are your goals for the organization going forward? Very simple we're looking to. Grow and engage with the sports community the partnership that you just announced with sports is really going to be one of the building blocks of that goal What we want to do is build out community where people can come follow their favorite games. Their favorite teams interact with what may be going on in those sports. Events live in real time. And engage with each other in A. Unique Way that is. User friendly and engaging, so you know there's two pillars to the platform. Both of them are built on data, so we have data coming in from in game data, win-lose draws matches certain spells happening headshots towers, going down on the other side of that we have content coming in from sports network amongst other organizations that we're working with of. For stories around the Games and behind the Games what our community managers than do as sort through that data create predictions that people can. Predict and engage in real time so as you're watching in event on. Your favorite platform, you know as long as we have data to it. You can play along with that and interact with that game as on, so everyone's used to. have two screens home, always watching TV and I seem to be scrolling through something on my phone. So this is a way to really close that loop and increase engagement have. Absolutely we're definitely in the age of two screen viewing twitch capitalized on that very early on with the twitch chat and realize the people wanting to talk about what they're watching while they play it now. We're actually at the age of probably three screen view I know there's plenty of times when I'm playing her stone. My laptop browsing twitter while watch TV show, which is probably not good for my long term, health but I do anyway. You know. I have a little bit of mild. Add myself fourteen tabs open three screens. I'm looking at a laptop now about another. Desktop screened decided in TV running. Right behind it in. You know having a focused conversation with us. This is just I. think rewiring our brains, but the amount of information that you can interact with today's just fantastic. Nobody. Be Thought you could do this and. You know even when I speak to some of our investors. In People Watch. People play video games gets more entertaining than anything. I see on all these three other screens in front of me, so why not? It's A. Fun Safe Place to work right here at home and enjoying. Good content. It's not hurting anyone, so I'm all for it. I'm all for it to. It's content and again it. It highlights that disconnect towards what people enjoy watching you the second degree Buick. People love to watch you play video games because they're not entirely watching the play video games. They're also on their phones. They're also in twitch chat. Unlike a intense netflix's drama, for example where your need to be focused on it, entirely or movie, or even a sporting event where you need to really be focused in people playing video games, you'll play a battle. Royale is very second screen viewing heavy, which just shows how people are consuming content these days. There's. No thank God. I don't have to phones like I said. There's no real end to what you can do, and I think that's what's really unique about what we're trying to do here. Vandam is that. Whether you're watching imbedded stream in the APP, or you're watching. That's stream from another platform because the data comes in, you're really engaging with. On one type of content on two different screens as opposed to watch in two different screens, two types of content on it, so it really. A completes the ecosystem and we can offer benefits to the companies that we partner with. For example from Addis showing on you know a streaming platform can have that admiral in in the hand held device or vice

"He is considered perhaps the greatest professional fisherman ever. He has the biggest number of all time and career winnings nearly $7 million. He has eight angler of the Year awards. He's got four Bassmaster classics. He is widely considered to be the goat. Joining us here on the show for Major league fishing is Kevin Vandam K V Day. Good Morning. Good morning, man. Great, Tio. Great to be with you this morning. Yeah, It's good to have you here on this show as well and You're such an outdoorsman. An avid outdoors been whether it's duck hunting or deer hunting or fishing or what have you Has it been hard during the last couple of months because everybody's been kind of shut down or for you being so part of the outdoors. Has it kind of been relatively natural just to be, you know, kind of Doing the things that you normally have his hobbies. Um, you know, to be honest with me At first, it was really It was really strange. I think it probably was for everybody. But It is kind of, you know, there's been a silver lining and the fact that I've got to spend more time through this time of the year, you know, fishing and with my with my boys, and just with my family and things like that, and I normally get two Not that we have been working because we have. I think everybody's trying to figure out ways to adapt to this. You know what we're doing? And still do, you know, create conduct your business. I have been on a lot of zoom calls. I can tell you that, but no, it has been. It is still bend some of some great memories that we've been able to make out in the water. When this whole thing started back at April, you were raising money for food pantries in food donations, which is a really cool venture by you. You were putting together this amazing prize pack of gear and equipment that you really love and having people match donations. How did that idea come up? And how? What did that mean to you to try to get back to food pantries and things like that early during this? Well, the one thing I can tell you about our fraternity or our family within our industry is there's really a lot of good people and they're very very giving you my wife is Ah, person. That's very much like that. You know, That's the reason we started R R M Van Damme Foundation some years ago to do you know, able to give back, you know, you know, I mean, I've been lucky to make a living at something that I absolutely love to do, And it gives you you know a platform to be able to do some of those things. So when this all hit and we just saw so many, you know so many people, whether it be front line, you know, medical workers or just people that lost their jobs and things that were just You know this hit everybody. Like a brick wall. And so it was really her idea. And, you know, we put that together to start with and Then we did an all in challenge, too, with some other friends and things like that. So we do what we try to do everything we can, Teo, you know, to give back, you know, to help other people in need and It's just I think again. That is the nature of outdoors people to begin with there. They're very helpful. You know our group You know, Ifyou're broke down on the side of the road with a flat tire on your trailer or something like that, you know your competitors that you compete against Just that day that you're fierce, you know, fighting against for a win will pull over and help you. You know, that's just the nature of the people in this in this sport. Major league fishing. Kevin Vandam joining us this morning here on the show em LF now has the live stream for the 2020 best tour Proceeds in best Pro tour season coming up once again this weekend, could also see Stage one championship around episode on Discovery Channel coming up on Saturday morning as well. Has that ever happened to you where you were broken down, or you saw a competitor broken down and you actually did pull over and pick him up or help him change the flat or whatever. Absolutely, like, even during competition, you know, I mean, you know if somebody's broke down and you know they need a spare part or tools or I carry a lot of extra, you know you you want to help You know you want to help your federal fellow guy out because if you were in that same spot you, you know, appreciate the same type of respect so no many, many times over the years I've been doing this a long time and It's just one of the things I'm really, really proud of is the quality of the people that I compete against? And that's what makes it really rewarding too. Is that mutual respect and admiration that you know really, everybody have, even though we're I could say were fierce competitors on the water. We want to win. You know you're still at the end of the day if you want to be a good person. Yeah. You know, you had had so much success. Even before Major League fishing was created. You became an original founder of the circuit of the league. What was it that drew you to want to help create? You know a new dynamic with them. LF Well in the beginning, the main reason that we and it was it really wasn't my brainchild to speak there, so to speak, But I was I was one of the original guys, but It really was. Gary Klein, who's another professional anglers had this concept of just trying to make the, um the competition a little more exciting and a little more accessible for the fans. So you know in the past We would, you know, catch fish put him in a live all We really didn't know how much they weigh or where you stood. You didn't know what your competitors had, or you know how you were actually doing. You just had to kind of guests. And you come in and wait efficient. And then you know the results were the results at the end of the day, but well with major league fishing. You know what? We we score the fish. You catch the fish who got official right there. We weigh the bass and he's back in the water in the same spot, typically within 30 seconds, you know, and so there's a great conservation aspect. But the biggest thing is the real time scoring, You know, we all know With the score tracker that we have on DH. You can follow it online during the during the live events. You can just follow score tracker and just see.

"Josh. I mean, my crown don't don't despair. It's my crown. I'll tell you what it does beat the crap out of what? Blue ribbon white, whiskey or whatever for all of five seconds. Yeah. It was a real thing. Yeah. It's aid for whites white second, five seconds. It's called paps. What a ribbon whiskey? Yeah. Absolutely. That's a white something white. Yes. Some I can't remember what they call it white lightning or either way point is. Yeah. Twenty five hundred dollar bottle. I'll stick with my twenty four dollar bottle of crown Royal? Thank you very much is like heritable marketing playing well, first of all. And I know you're talking about the the paths blue ribbon whiskey back to this. I want to know what a twenty five hundred dollar bottle of whiskey tastes like I gotta at some point in my life is not going to be anytime soon. I'll just say it. But I mean, I got to know what that tastes like. Fifty dollar bottle. Yeah. Johnny blue. Yeah. But yeah this. Yes. That's that's how this is going the Ohio bottle lottery. It's limited to one entry per person like someone's going. I wanted to get a couple of those and spend seventy five hundred dollars. That's what I was after. All right. Yeah. You gotta be. But yeah, they're literally doing this in the lottery starts on March twenty fifth for this pretty crazy. All right. Let's welcome in now. The rinkside reporter for the Columbus, blue jackets and Fox Sports, Ohio. It's one Dave metal. Dave, welcome to the show. Thanks for coming on, man. You know, it's a bit like groundhog day every one of these days than we have our visits is a game for the Columbus blue check. Right. I think that's basically how it's going to go. The rest of the way out that's going to just fill in the blank. This is a big one for them. And tonight is no different. Of course, the hurricanes coming into nationwide arena tonight. And yep. This is a big one. It's a big one because they are two points ahead of the jackets. They've got the first wildcard spot jackets at the second wildcard spot. Carolina much like they did last year. Wait in the year. Putting out a big surge really since the since the calendar two thousand nineteen been a really really tough team in the east of really tough out. And they've always been tough for the blue jackets. I was talking to Josh Edison about that. Today. Just says, you know, sometimes we go over looked at it because they've been a team that has been below us in the standings. Sometimes we just haven't given it our best effort. But tonight, I don't think you'll be that way. Because everybody in the league recognizes how good Carolina's. Now, they're really they're really playing some good hockey. Well, the good thing with regard to the blue jackets and how good they performed versus the Bruins on Tuesday night is that they literally have had a couple of days and not had to go. Like, you know, that was obviously a back to back game the night before they were in New York versus the islanders than they do this. Well, at least they get a couple of days to quote, unquote, come down a little bit because that was a serious rush on Tuesday night watching that with our Tammy the fight. And then, you know, with the Boone Jenner the in the hat trick. And man that was fun to watch. I hope we get some of those fireworks tonight. That would be great. I knew it was big. When I got the text from you after our Tammy was trading punches there because let's be honest, not every radio host in Columbus. Ohio is watching him mid-week game with the blue jackets. But I knew you were watching, and I knew that got a lot of people fired up, including. Yeah. And I love how they cut to our TIMMY working out on the heavy bag. And I was like this guy. He looks like an MA guy and. You know, throwing spinning back fist and stuff. Like in the cut that they use the video that they used on TV. But yes, pretty cool, man. He is scrappy. Yeah. If if he wouldn't it had his skates on that thing would have been over in about fifteen seconds because McEvoy wouldn't have had any chance against 'em a minded are. So all right. The hurricanes tonight and not trying to look past this. But well, let's go back to it quickly. It looks like Bobrovsky is expected to go in net tonight. Are you seeing that as in here in that as well? Yeah. And then, you know, look, I know there's a back to back because the jackets are gonna play at Boston again tomorrow night. I think they're just gonna ride Bob as much as they can. I don't know if you'll get bullpens of this back to back like he did the one at the beginning of the week, but he played so well, and you know, he's the number one goaltender clearly he's the guy who's going to get this team to the post season and wherever they go after that. So you gotta right. Bobby? Yeah. And speaking of that tomorrow night at the Bruins, it looks like Korpi right now is expected as far as what I'm seeing on my on my app, but like you're saying so you think tonight if Bob has a stellar night tonight. And he's basically, you know, just not letting anything through then you think he they may opt to use and then tomorrow night. Well, it's surprised me frankly against Boston at home. It really did. I thought that's where we might see corporate. I think. I think a lot of it'll be how much how much work Bob gets tonight. If it's a thirty five save effort. He might not go tomorrow. But let's say he always twenty. And it's a relatively quiet night for him. That I could see them coming back to Bob, I guess Boston tomorrow because on the other side of that the jackets have the following Sunday. And they have the following Monday off before they play Calgary. So you know, I could see happening depending upon how much work gets today. It is go time tonight at nationwide arena on home ice the blue jackets welcoming in the Carolina Hurricanes. I'm going to be down there. Obviously Mets you're going to be down there. It's going to be rock and Friday night here in the CMHA, and we're loving it. It's fifth line appreciation night tonight to which means at the end of the night win or lose Jackson. These two twenty five or so walkie fans we're going to get to go home with a recently wars in the game. Stay home and watch it. Yeah. So it'll be a full house, which is recipient Friday night. Columbus Ohio, it should be a spectacular hockey game. With a lot on the line for both teams. It's everything you want at nationwide tonight. You heard Dave get your, stinky jersey tonight and just messing around. Oh my God. I would freak out to get a jersey. And obviously, I think a lot of people will too, and that's going to be fun. It'll be fun. And if you're there, you know, you have a you have a chance because I I think they do it by pulling the Vandam ticket who knows who's going to get a shot at at those jury it's gonna be really cool. But most important of all if you don't go home with a jersey, make sure that the home team goes home with two points. That's the most important part rinkside reporter for the Columbus, blue jackets and Fox Sports, Ohio. Dave metal. It's been great catching up with the end. We'll see you tonight. Traffic.

I don't remember it doesn't mean what about the this was a project that was already set up. Okay. What about the van dam project? Double teams double in van. I saw a film about a double team yesterday. I don't think it was the same one over. He's gone. Clearly, you ought to do a photo van Damme. Okay. I was really put out a film called double d Scott eighties with Dennis Rudd bid. Do with with Vandam. And I think they fight a lion at the individual. Okay. And I want you to be honest because Rodman throw basketballs at the line. He wasn't good rebound. Maybe he would be catching. He's not. He's not a guy that shoots a lot. He's a rebound. But let's say there's another rebound jokes. Movie is on the rebound. Talk about boxing out to bunch of times. I can we make this movie it could be you. And Kevin Durant mean Kevin to cycle t I would be the van Damme. Then damn do a split. I Scott tried to do is. Okay. Let me try. Everyone's setbacks today. Here we go goes a bit. Split. Oh, okay. That was incredible. That was just like. He for the audience did a split between two rolling. Jay's. He let me hold them back again. Creatively? Those of I mean. Yeah, I do have some skills that is on my resume, by the way, most of damn still he was a denser. That's right. You know, he was I can put you in double team we can start production. Tomorrow's really, I would do it. No one's running after me to star in movies. You want to be I would love to need to physicians production. Yeah. A p by the way, you are a terrible negotiator. Yes. And also, it's an internship. Oh when When I get I get a a call. call. In credit? Okay. Looks just one quick thing. This is known union, by the way, fine. Because I don't want to deal with the taxes. Wait, are you? Are you bankrolling this movie? All yes, gut. Just go. That's nuts. I'm on about packaging, baby. Packagings the agents to know the producers of packaging for well. Sure. Looks. "But that's what I do take one I've ever seen this. But I think much as there is the -cational bad actor who will go. Okay, I've worked our way to make replacements for plastic straws out of trees, which looks good for people and solve problems. But as a boy product producers lows of cadmium, which we throw into river. If you come up with that nineteen sixty five to go by the cabbie problem while the Jalan just done it. Now, people wouldn't do that. Because the optics of doing that would be bad. I think the will genuinely has changed. Yes. There will be some people who would have done it then. And who would do it today? And that's what you'd government regulation is there for by two as you find people who will lead this knowing that it's damaging to anyone and then punish them. But what what I want to happen is for the guys to change for people's. Jim will attitude attitude? New change is possible. It's just well, there's always gonna be bad actors, and therefore we will not do anything to be oughta council of dispatch we could be better than that without being too naive. I think I guess what we're saying though, I think that's always saying, I think what we're Jeremy. And I want to put into into Jerry. I think what we saying is. If you want to change that site guy, there's got to be something more concrete than hoping that changes like a good example of this. I would say good example of this is what we're starting to see with digital wellbeing, and we signed to see phones chip in that kind of stuff and people talking about more president and reduced screen time. And and I think that's a good thing. But what's changing that? I think is the company's seeing that as a market opportunity, and then that's changing the norms of how society tends to operate. So to me, if we're going to have a way in which technology is more responsibly applied the markets got to basically support that responsibility in my mind. That's the reason why I think government regulation will only get you. So all right Greek Karachi, they should be. They should be government making nation to ensure digital wellness by that'd be utterly wrong. Approach. This is exactly the same. I could pay degree that needs to be enlightened self interest in this. But I think this is something companies could essentially trade 'em make Paul of their public image that right? We could have done this. But we didn't exactly because we think they're damaging uses to it. I mean, I don't have the. You basically want companies to be rations? Right. About what stop? So speaker. Like what Ben and Jerry's did where corporate good is actually instilled into their duties. Yes. They can then make decisions based on on general goodness. But have it still even if it costs more they can justify that to there's stockholders by saying that's part of our corporate structure, not only only do want that to happen. That's what I would be firmly in favor of government regulation. That sounds like a brilliant idea to me Autoliv, no heard of that. And that's a great idea too. Big thumbs up for the language on that particular point benefit. Okay. Yeah. Look into those right? Micrometer? I think Mike changing to be a cop. So. More and more of a happening. That's the kind of thing we starting to see people the the mood changing to where that is eighty self desirable thing to do and eventually the tips while you know, to be corporation Vandam company that seems weight and that that's that's acceptable. John. I was talking about with. This guy's changing gab Tony five. That sounds great. Let's that happened. It's tricky that go back to the facial recognition piece, though, I. To the point where philosophy. I'm in two minds about this. Because. I'm actually I'm I'm in ninety different minds about this. Because I think that he. He's raising a good point when he says that these kinds of technologies can be dangerous, right? Like, I would apply the same argument to wards three D printed weapons. Right. Yeah. Right. So and by the way, did you see the guy that runs that three D printing weapon company got busted for having sex the underage girl. No. Yeah. I think it was and then got arrested. Yeah. Guys going down. So but anyway. You know, this is where I'm in two months because I can understand from the perspective of for example, a gun rights enthusiasts..

"I think that's what gives it the. That's what gives it the structure. The kind of the whipped moose lake structure is the the, you know, the the mechanical not leavening, but the kind of mechanical agitation of the Guedes. I mean, we also have like, you know, a a marshmallow. Easiest thing going on here too. Right. Where I assume like the industrial produced ones don't don't use egg whites that they replace that with Vandam Gummer something. Yeah. If these gelatin, right? Yeah. I believe so. Yeah. So interesting to think of gelatin in this context, right? 'cause gelatin just the history of gelatin is sort of an as an anti candy in a sense of like, they I tried to use it as military food before they realized that it had like so little nutritional value by wait, the more. They learned about food, and it wasn't actually nourishing people. I think because it's like jolted was used by the French military during the wars is the food stuff. And then in the following decades. The calorie was discovered it's like oh. Maybe gelatin isn't the answer. So it's sort of like a non candy that became a candy as human knowledge progressed in that sense. I'm intrigued by the idea of the marshmallow has a candy. It's really interesting. So it's, you know, I don't know. Okay. Quick quick round on on worst candies. Oh, I mean, I joked about Charleston shoes. There you go. Yeah. I hated candy with nuts as a kid because I felt like it was taking away from what a candy ought to be which is overpowering Lee. Sweet. Right. And like this has to do I think there are some there is some sort of like developmental research that our tastes change as we get our tastes change. Obviously as we get older because we get more experienced of world. But yeah, it's definitely worth it. There is some kind of like, we're Ganic -ly based change in in our taste and things like that. And like the nuts like interfered with the overpowering kind of cloying sweetness of the candies that I liked and thus we're at a abomination, I hated really chewy candies that would get stuck in my teeth and wouldn't come out. It just was such an unpleasant experience, and I just I just didn't really relish it at all like the chewy Tootsie things. Yeah. I took roles in general. I think have underperformed expectations in life in general. I mean, would you describe Tootsie rolls given the people who? Market at them. I think you have done a pretty good job. And certainly the rappers who've wrapped about them over the years have a pretty good job of making twitchy role seem like really fun..

"But then obviously it was to clear nicotine. Consider it was definitely during the and I think we said at the time like is, as you said it sometimes even even more trouble than they're worth and to put your allies of side and make them down suspect you probably let me definitely not worth it. Exactly what it wasn't at that at that point. You bring Tony video side so much because you didn't really seem to have that much of relationship with her. By the end, you have like a final three deal or fun a four and deal, and she's giving you her found together, but she she, she ends up leaving, you know, saying sending her love to PK who was a longtime ally, and you don't know how it happened. So So quick. quickly. It's dangerous. No, what I did I did play. I did differently play. I mean, we chatted about a lot of stuff. She was in a lonely place. She had lost nerve in her eyes. She PK had gone over to the other side. Josie was away. I sold a gap on knew she needed and about as she say, one hundred times where the older ones material one. So I knew that and she was in she was she was in panicky state. She was. She was. She was stay sprint, and I knew that that I could play that for for her at that moment. And I was probably who only hope to get the right. And did you have confirmation with production that if she would leave the vote in the cap and get voted out and everything that you would be able to use it? Because in a CPA, thank community. We were bit. It said that it wasn't transferable. But I mean, we've had automation that it was like shed ownership. Because you've felt it together. It was a shift. We did awesome that they did tell us that you could use it, which they said we, we have to vote to give out which and how it started. And then they sit. But then she lifted for me, I think was also a okay. I didn't steal it. Why didn't take it. That I didn't think immigrant fit, but it didn't say that I couldn't use it, but it was she lifted to that was why made it? Okay, right. But then when you make that decision not to like angry your allies and to vote for Tony, as was the plan, are you thinking at that moment that she's not going to leave that for you? Because she would think that you voted for. I did think that they will. You know, I'll deal with it at that stage. How if I just praying someone else would vote would be drunk lane, vote, ROY. It will exactly which which he was so so I was happy with that. So that was just I was sign a huge relief just to know the t. did and it would be okay now and then she will still like me and because otherwise she could've just schooled me a snake as well. Yeah, probably would have issued known what had happened. Exactly. We to the next Boyd food. What's your plan now? You have the extrovert, mutual PK, but maybe getting something together. What? Why did this not pan out? Was the decision Cotin cooler on you all both? Yeah. I'm so glad that I can finally tell someone. Thank you. What I thought contender wasn't gonna gates. I don't know if I'm allowed to say this, but they did manipulate those two episodes little bit, so. Okay. Contender didn't come to me to say to vote or at that stage. So I was on my own only had John knowing. She's not in the top three. I knew that. I am and Vadnais and Tom was not top three. I applied to win. Hundred times with with John to say, you're not up three way Tom and Beka had that argument they about when Tom when PK said this is the top three. I say, you see John in the background, you can you see, this doesn't just come on no way. That's the top three hoping she would realize it and go with me, and it was. Vadnais John way to vanden and said at least says your Trump three Vandam speaking out. He can to me and said, what are you telling people as it was actually quite a big scene..

"Now she's a winner of the season. She fed champion and JT quick. I think in that very episode, so the must've really love JT to give him like the strategic win over Lisa, that the season winner when he wasn't even going to be in the next episode. Well, found out the actually edited as they were going. Oh, wow. Yes. Oh, my God changes everything. Yes, it does because I've been watching this trying to raid into all the edits who's going to win. I. Found out that night. I as they going. So like that. Yeah, I, I like that too because sort of as it's happening, what they say and what they, what they're getting, rather than trying to manipulate everything that they would have gone back to, like all you really like that. That scene that we pointed out in the first episode where ten Lisa talk about, you know, who's Ian Lee van Vandam out tests hasn't seen anything. I'm getting myself a Pat on the back because I'm pretty sure I said that Lisa would have some sort of victory over test based on that conversation. And it was a slow, three victory in the final travel, which I think I could predict. But it was a victory for sure. Definitely that kind of thing. Hard. No, the result put in. Yes. They obviously going back through shoreline. Yeah. I mean, just just absolutely go that comes out JT's math like every like ever not getting to just show you everything. He says, well, that's Lisa as a winner. But I do think so. Dave, I think had a really to win without the met reveal. I think that he had a great shot of getting even Tara eve, Aaron, deputy, three, three one, possibly with math, nasty and deciding tie-breaking vote. If he the only for Lisa and I have to, he would vote for Dave over tests otherwise really bit. So that would have been interesting. I think he actually had a really good a really good shot. Yeah. And I do hope that we look back at him as a good player who really hard run with definitely show them if if we were sitting. Saying, if final four Lisa goes like she should have and we're sitting with Dave Tara Tessa funnel, and Matt doesn't reveal. The friendship dive is our survivor New Zealand's as until you win. I agree with us based on the numbers come down, so so we, we can't discredit someone's game based on someone quitting at for and then also reveal of friendship, Lucca said overnight at which was out of control. Yeah, I wanna get to the reunion as well, which is pretty interesting. Rehashed a lot of the season even case you like, why are we talking about my blindside. But and there was an interesting additional content that they gave that wasn't even even then like some stuff that Lisa was doing behind the season. The brand that seemed really important. I'm like, this is your winner show you could have told us about making it all about Matt, but I guess that's the decision of the show maybe as they were doing it as they went along, and I feel like they really cut out praise Chani and then post up to the point where it just kind of felt like it was a story of Dylan was doing the main character of the reunion for some reason, they would like patience than the Josh boot than the doing. This was just the Dylan edit of revive in New Zealand. Way. I wasn't to Kane on the reunion these part of it..
