"Of. Them is injury history but they have sat and they have waited. We have seen we have already seen vance mcdonald takeover game for the pittsburgh steelers in the highest possible time a playoff game against jacksonville two years ago sixteen targets ten receptions one hundred twelve yards seat and it's just one game. I get it but my point is. We've seen him takeover a game heath miller when when big ben actually had a pass catching tight end it was heath miller. This was a while ago he regularly saw excellent target shares including jason funding of the year you brought up when all three of them had over one hundred targets antonio brown mike wallace and heath miller. You realize jesse jesse. James started last year with the week one. He was the number eight tied in week. Two is the number to tighten. Yes look because big. Ben utilizes the tight end position and now that position belongs to vance mcdonald over the last two years. Only travis kelsey has more broken tackles at the position travis. Kelsey is a fulltime tight end vance mcdonald. Donald has not been over the last two years. Only george cadle has a better yards after catch last year twelve most receptions at the tight end eleventh most yards <music> at tight end position. He was the tight end ten in half point p p r scoring as a part time player. What do i mean andy by a part time player. He averaged fifty five percent of the snap. It didn't look like not enough right. Taiba tied in ten with fifty five by percents of the snaps. He's not playing no fifty five percent of pittsburgh snaps at the position this year. Can you stay healthy. I maybe whatever i heard that's the fifteen percent sure off the eighty five if he's playing he's going to break out is going to happen all right eighty five percent. That's our highest thus far. I'm i'm at about eighty percent on my pick so i think vance wins the day in terms of certainty factor and eh curtis samuel. You've heard a lot about samuel. It all comes down to one thing for curtis samuel this season which is to stay healthy healthy. He's twenty three years old. He's poised to make the leap. He's the talk of camp. He's an athletic freak that had transitioned from being kind of a running back hybrid guy into the wide receiver position but he missed ten games through the first two seasons due to injury so his health is the key to him actually paying off for you but but right now what i love about curtis samuel impart for the fantasy side is you gotta pay two more rounds to get d._j. More and i think much like you know. We've talked a little bit about golladay a._m. Marvin jones and like the the round gap is so significant between the two that there's going to be jones weeks and i don't just like d._j. More at all i think d._j. Moore has a great ceiling in the offense as well but you have you ever healthy cam newton and his main target is going to be d._j. More and curtis samuel on this offense along with christian mccaffrey obviously so you look at where does courtesy mule win on the football field this apart from the preseason hi this is apart from him being and arguably the best player in camp. He wins at every single level in every single route. If you look at reception perception seventy four point six percent success rate against man coverage..

"The Vance McDonald stiff arm for a seventy five yard touchdown. So we are going to look at some Steeler history with seventy five yards or more touchdowns. Okay. First of all the Steelers had the most seventy five yard touchdown seventy five or more yard touchdown receptions. We're going with touchdown receptions, tight ends any receiver any any receiver. Any receiving touchdown. That went for seventy five yards or more Steelers lead the league with how many this year. Yes. Three three. No two. But do you think Brian to? Brian's on mute. You're right. I'll just say to you had the big one. Juju had to buy him self. What was the other one? Juju was the seventy five yarder. I play the game against Carolina. That's right died. The one the McDonald's seventy five yarder. We have the ninety seven yarder against against his set ember of his career, and we had the Antonio Brown's seventy eight yard touchdown against. Why did it just escaped me? I just I didn't write it. I would just remember an. You gotta remember that seventy yard touchdown against. Oh, it was in a win. I got it here. I'm black. Remember, all right. It was seventy five yards against. No. I was at that game. I would remember that one Jacksonville. That's what got him back in the game. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's what it was. I knew it was it was an important game. I knew it was game they one. But I I was I was blanket on that one. I'm not going to any guest who had who had the second most seventy five yard touchdown this year receiving passion. Touchdown which team. Yeah. Kansas City Chiefs tyreek hill to be. It's not. I. I'll give you hint to two of their three were caught by tight end. Was AFC or NFC NFC the chiefs only had two this year. The Rams say Francisco, it would be the San Francisco forty Niners to them to George. As I got an SE tight end Kittle. I knew yet. It's bigger. I was. All right. Here's a pretty easy one. Who was the last Steelers tight end avatar down seventy five yards or more receiving? The last tight end. You mean other than Donald McDonnell Miller? There was heath Miller. It was in two thousand six and it was. Against miami. And thrown to hit thrown by early. That was the appendectomy game. That was the that was from Charlie back. I was Was at. at wasn't that borders return to Pittsburgh where he turned around to the stands that you love a or you love me wasn't that. That was. That was the first game that was the Super Bowl forty celebration the Smoot when he kissed our. That's right. It was what two years after that is when he came back as a dolphin. The coach of the dolphins. And that game was that the crimson tide. Eight hundred saving. Yep. And just so, you know, the last time before he Miller was a nineteen seventy-two having had that was. Larry brown. Gordon, Gravelle anybody else? Go ahead say I'm not going to even pronounce his name. Right. John making. Oh, yeah. That's right. Okay. Say yeah. He had a seventy yet. A seventy eight yard nineteen seventy two. Era. Green never got loose back in the nineties. Nope. Wow. That's the prize very athletic. So. Here's a good one. I think Brian will. No this one who was the last Steeler to catch a touchdown of seventy five yards or more. That was not a wide receiver or tight end. The last Cordell. He threw him. But he never caught one Mark Malone. That's the second one. I was gonna ask about the one before that Mark Malone caught one eighty one. That was remember how long it was. It was ninety. It was against the hawks ninety in Seattle from Terry Bradshaw. But there was one sense. Then that people probably forget about okay?.

"Kind of you know. Well, you know. But then I thought I thought Ben you both right at times. And then he just looked like crap on some of those throws in a specially that that interception to James he completely under Hugh personally. Lob the ball. Then completely threw Vance McDonald by seven or eight yards and made me think about that intersection last week. And so he just has these lapses that toss them, and that's another one, you know, they get that that interception back. They win the game. There's there's so many opportunities to win this game. And that's the bottom line to it. So, you know, as far, and, you know, honor roll, you know, I really have a hard time, you know, looking at the bright spots. But you know, I don't think James Connor had a bad game. You know, he wants the average four yards a carry. But he's only getting. Fifteen Carey, and you know, when he was running he was running. Well, so I really can't fall change Connor when I'm the worst part of the game for him. Was that contusion? I are they still calling the contusion Tony. Yeah. It's not lead to be very serious. And now, I think I think it'd be fine. Any word on his absence because I did not get that today. Well, everything I heard was he was limping around a bit in the locker room where he whereas he wasn't last night. But you know, I don't I didn't sound like it's going to be anything to keep him out of the Oakland game. But I guess we'll have to see like Mike Tomlin says he'll let the his participation this week side determine what he does on Sunday. That's typically what they do. So you know, I accept that. As an answer. If we're looking at an honor roll on the offense of side of the ball. The offense of line was very good. Once again, you know, one through five I have left to right. I thought they were really good. I thought Antonio Brown was very good on offense. And I'll even throw it a shout out to Jalen Samuels even before the touchdown. He had a series where I thought he looked. And so, you know, that's that's at least the constellation knowing that you might have something Jalen saying, well, she doesn't have the burst than James Connor would have. But I can feel he's been there the whole year. He knows the system. I'm I'm fine with him you getting some action, and he might have to he might really have to get a lot of action next week against Oakland. Maybe that's the team that that that you can afford to have James Connor out and. Maybe restroom get him back for New England. But we'll see. But if we're gonna go ahead and grade this offense of performance, Tony. I can't really feel good about giving them an awesome grades. Me either. I'm gonna I'm gonna give to it. Good. Well, I mean, I don't know if you wanna give his first, but I was going to give them a d plus honestly, that's that's how I feel no third down conversions in the second half. And then bends agree. Just pick like you mentioned in the red zone. And then overthrowing Justin hunter to me. They did as much to cost them the game as as the defense in the second half. I think I if I'm not mistaken, I think I gave them a C minus the grades article see mine, minus people, you know, let's fair. But my biggest piece. For the it's not on the defense. I I'm trust me. I will get the defense second. But my biggest beef about the Steelers performance in this game. Tony is this. They do not how know how to close out games. They don't know what what to do with the leads. I'm gonna put you on the spot here. When was your first part time job or your first job in your entire life? How old were you? I was twenty 'cause I was late teenager. Okay. All right. What what kind of job that you do for your first job? I was I was really stock clerk at a grocery store. Okay. And you had responsibilities. Right. Those patriots came and you had responsibilities for. I mean, did you have to pay har- Florian ran from where I mean, no matter what you had to do you have financial responsibilities because I pay paycheck. Correct. I sure did. Okay..

"No, I think when you're talking about pivotal players in this matchup, obviously Hayden is a much more influential player, but don't underestimate Switzer establishing himself as the number three receiver and the importance of that the Steelers as a whole they need that other players are has been gaining momentum each and every week then Roth Asperger's praised him caught a tough little booger. Take that for what it's worth. And they're, you know, but I think we all agree that Hayden versus Allen's going to be huge. And see here. What are they doing snow Assubel? What are they doing about the third wide receiver? Just a little background information. Here Eli Rogers was practicing this week. They have twenty one days to figure out what they wanna do with that guy. They can put them on the season ending. I are they are they can bring him back. These currently still on the physically unable performance or the publis is he third wide receiver Switzer the third wide receiver as advanced McDonald is James Connor Bryant who is dealers third wide receiver. I'm not really done with James Washington, yet mill of fans are I still think that I know he took a step back the other day. So he's still in the mix there. It's going to be interesting to see who they give the hat to whether it's hunter or James Washington ally Rogers, if you I'd like everybody to remember how much we cuss that guy last year. He was terrible last year in two thousand seventeen two thousand sixteen. He was fine. He's really bad last year. And I don't think he's the savior coming in a lot of people thinks that he will be. I think you go with Ryan Switzer right now, and you still make something work between hunter Washington. And if almost fails, then you put the heat on with with Rogers, but Vance McDonald's still a big threat for them. So I think if you're looking at the wide receiver up Chartres, it's Ryan Switzer if you're looking over all the number three and four receivers are, you know, Vance McDonald and James Connor. Yeah. James Washington, if they don't if he doesn't get a helmet on Sunday night that's going to be so telling to the situation that he finds himself in right now. I I don't think this you give me a helmet, I think that is going to keep putting him out there to to prove himself. But that brings us to our next question. Which is the Ben Rothlisberger comments about teammates came to be a positive thing. We talked about this a lot last night. But Brian we'll get your take on. It are a Roth Asperger's comments about Jane's, Washington, and other teammates, and coaches, could it be viewed as a positive they can be viewed as a positive. It's when you're the captain when you're fifteen year, man, you have you have the ability, and you have the right to kick people square in the butt, and that's exactly what he is trying to do. You know, I joked about him throwing everybody under the bus. You know, I didn't really believe in that. I did that for comic. Effect. Look, he's the leader of this team. Everybody on the internet you and me everybody the media. Everybody's allowed to criticize. But the minute Ben Rothlisberger criticizes and brings it brings it to light. That's a no no, oh, he shouldn't be doing that. It's about teammate. No. You're the leader of the team the leader of the team. The sheriff the team does that your Tom Brady does that stop? I mean, these guys cold their people accountable. He has to hold them accountable..

"Was to Vance McDonald a tie. Then you talked about emotion comes back out to the flat. But been looked that way actually a half of a pump fake, but he was intending to go back to Switzerland. The opposite side it was simply to move the linebacker out the middle of the field. And then claim Bryan Switzer running out of that slot on the other side. That's a veteran move by Rothlisberger. The is snap the forty four. He's back at three throws it out to the tight end. We've got Jesse James has the fifty where he's crunched at the forty seven to gain at nine four James fifty. I straight game top-five active for tight ends at Big Ben knows how to find his side ends. There isn't any question about the thing that Pittsburgh has done for years. The fifteen years at Ben has been there is the use of tight ends and running backs to try to mute the pressure that teams bring onto their quarterback, and it gives outlets viable outlets quickly to their star quarterback. Second and one Bronco Forty-six Rothlisberger. Hooked up with seven different receivers in eleven minutes snapped Abani throws it wide to the right? And it's incomplete James Washington. The target Bradley Roby got it front of it. He was questionable after cousin. He is in the game. And he gets the stop third one. The Bradley Roby needs to be the corner that plays opposite. Chris harris. Chris Harris is a true lockdown felt guy. Roby is a guy that they Denver wants to show up to be this counterpart to Harris Roby's going to get it. A ton of work, especially today, a veteran quarterback in droplets burger knows where to go match up wise in this one third down the forty seven backfield Qatar gets the carry rod straight into the line. And does get the yard necessary as he leans forward behind the fullback Roosevelt Knicks. It's a first down for Pittsburgh at three twenty eight to go first quarter three nothing Denver. Jason. I talked about Randy fitness first year going from quarterback coach for eight years to be in the offense,.

"Jalen Rashard Rashard, maybe Jared cook. But I I don't also sound like Mark Cooper was catching fast as an Oakland. There's an idea in your mind that he needs to fill. I don't know if there's actually a role big enough to it's not like Julio Jones left Atlanta me. So I think if anything it's there Seth Roberts is coming back. Maybe keep an eye on him. The raiders of the lowest average pass length in the entire NFL like Derek jail Chartres value. Exactly thirty four qualify passers. And air course last by like a good about six point zero six or something. I think Brian is like imagine a more frustrating player than Amari Cooper, straight up. The two more frustrating receivers at and Josh Gordon's. And there's those are the three that that's the triumph. Whatever what are you want put them? That's the top tier if you will. All right moving on. We're going to go to a player that we kind of got burned on last week Jemaine curse. We did you have zero catches last week our one I don't know what it was. But he didn't get all thank thing. Like we. Or I thought he would targets zero catches. Yeah. So our IB Anderson didn't practice on Thursday because of an ankle injury. I mean, he's still going to be I think the slot receiver in that offense. So he's a stream of wash. Now this point, obviously, I'm not as confident as I was last week that he's going to be kind of a focal point that offense. But you know, I just think last week was a little bit of not liar. No one with you. If you really that desperate, and you're getting someone who's probably the number one off the number one pass catcher team going forward relief going into the week. That's pretty solid stream. Yeah. Along those lines will opposite lines. Vance McDonald against the Browns. They didn't see him in week one. He wasn't playing nor was Baker or sorry. Well, different teams. But I think it's going to be a different kind of matchup this week is what I'm saying. So I understand that. It was very run heavy offense in Iran. Heavy attached James Connor got like a thousand touches things can be a very different game. This go around advanced McDonald's just grant think he's like one of their better options. I'm really big on him in Cleveland had a lot of trouble defending tight ends in the last couple of years. And I think Vance could play man. All right. Was he got a defense for us? Oh, yeah. So the giants have given up as Lombardi has no. It's a little offensive to be honest. The giants have just been horrible that they should have shredded the falcons, I think they're just close to just giving up. They just traded away Damon Harrison at defense there. It's a weird time in their locker the Redskins defensive line is incredible. I mean, they got Jonathan it's probably maybe the most underrated line in football right now. They've got Jonathan Allen. You know, Ryan. Kerrigan is great. They have present Smith, and they were just going to manhandle the giants offensive line this week. I really think there's real potential for like sac city and just really sad like strip fumble return touchdowns this week for man. They've really granted you down haven't. They. It's just love has been beaten out of me. It this is just there's no there's no I don't know what the light at the end of the tunnel is all I'm all in on Lil at a man. The letter what a sad way to end the show. All right. No. It's not sad. It's beautiful colored is the lead in my life right now. Outta here. We.

"Deform right there. Out of the quarrel. He just read over Chris county now, tests in wit on ESPN Monday night football last night and what a play by Vance McDonald that lit up Twitter for sure. Last night on the what a brutal stiff arm as Dion would say that man has kids. You know, that's what he always says. Whenever somebody gets absolutely hosed, post arised faced, literally as Vance McDonald did to Chris Conte last night and a huge play early on in that game when it's looked like fits magic, it's shown up in the first quarter and part of thirty point. First, half that the Steelers did not add onto in the second half last night. They made some mistakes, offensively and Fitzpatrick started holding onto the ball. The first half of the third quarter was taken up by a a drive that Tampa posted, and it was a tale of two halves that that wound up with the Steelers, getting a much needed win, very rare of week. Three winning much need win, but for team, they could not go to in one Levy on Bell's still withholding his service. And the ravens showing up for Sunday night football. One one in one takes a lot of pressure off. Antonio Brown was happy. They come away with a win. Now they have an opportunity to take take on the ravens Cincinnati is in Atlanta and its tireless possible with Cleveland showing up to the black hole. Could it be possible that Cleveland and Pittsburgh at two one in one would be tied atop the AFC north after week, four. I don't think that that's out of the realm of being possible. And then advanced McDonald play. I just want to talk about this a little bit in in light of the roughing, the passer conversation that is dominating the NFL right now. Charles Woodson the goat himself. Okay. Re tweeted a video of Vance McDonald facing Chris Conte and again, it was a stiff arm. It's the type of physical play that we love seeing in the NFL. It was just I'm stronger than you get out of my way. It was the phys the physical aspect of the game as well as the will to win the will to win the moment that that stiff arm show. That's again why we love the game, but we're now in an era where even that gets question because of the penalties that we're seeing called in the pocket on defensive players or the general sense that all rules that are being created are being created to help the offense in not the defense, even though we have seen again, some call. Let's just put a pin in that for second some rules changes that have been made that Hines, ward, crack back block. That's history. Yes, ofensive pass. Interference on on those quick bubble screens are sometimes called a lot more now because plays we're seeing a lot more of of you've already hit your defender before the offensive play has begun right. OPRI wipe a big play out. So it's not all in favor of the offense, but many of them are and the roughing, the passer calls that we're seeing. Leads to a goat like Charles Woodson tweeting out this video saying, yeah, but it's not a penalty like j. p. peas hit accidental, hit thebenz helmet. This is clearly hands to the face asking for a friend. So a defender puts his hand in the grill of his opponent. That's a flag Vance McDonald in front of God and country on open-field, put his hands to Chris Conte's grill twice and shoved him over with a hand to the face. And that's not a penalty. I don't wanna see that play flecked. I wanna put that out now, but we are now in the arrow of what about we see it in real world. We see it in politics all the time. What about? Because we feel certainly defenders feel that they're being. Unfairly flagged. What about so okay, defender accidentally puts his hand to the head of a quarterback while trying to make a football play, that's a flag, but Vance McDonald's and get flagged for that. He literally faced in opponent. I'm glad that's not flanked. I don't wanna see that. Like I also wanna see the incidental hits to the quarterback said flagged either let it go. Eight, four, four, two, four, rich number, dial Regis in Spokane, Washington, your first in first up, what's up, Regis headache, how you doing what's going on? Good. Hey, so if you don't want the flag right into defendant, grab that other guy's face mask can just yank come down otherwise gone..

"The big name in the at the tight end position to even really talk about you might not even want to pick him up, but that's Dallas Godart who had a monster game seven for seventy three with the score on seven targets. So he was absolutely perfect. But the first two games, he barely even saw the field. I'll be. Shocked if he has more than two receptions this week. That's that's my fear. I mean, absolutely. You want him on your bench to see, yes if Al Sean is out and and winces obviously back, I would even take shot over a lot of other people to start em week one. He was a drop away from touchdown reception so he could have had to at a three weeks being a valuable fantasy tightening top, twelve Vance McDonald or Dallas gutter. That's I think I would rather have Vance. If Vance showed he's healthy. We've always been big fans. I'm doing the vans dance all the time. But yeah, it's that's a tough call because Vance McDonald played. I'm looking at pro football reference. They show them planet about forty, eight percent of snaps. I know he had the huge play. I would love it if they can go forward with Vance McDonald, but it's it's a two tight end thing for both of these guys for both Dallas Qatar invents McDonald, here's a drop it like it's hot candidate that I would be on. The lookout for on waivers is Jack Doyle because Jack Doyle is injured did very little week to people are going to have to just move on and say, I can't trust them drop him, but Eric Brown, got the targets and he just didn't get it done. If you look at a snap percentages between those two guys, I think they could win. Doyle gets back. They oil was dropped. I would take him over all of these titans that we've been talking about easily been Watson, five or seventy. One last week will diz dizzily crashing, big Montana, crashing back to earth with one for four. The moose was nearly goose big Montana's. Are you talking about the sandwich? Yes, I am. They are d- list now he's this right. You told me that you almost you almost destroyed your diet and your bowels by by doing kind of a. Oppressing like fast food run. Last held off. I did. I held off and I said, I'm not gonna. I'm not going to. I'm here for the people. I'm going to win the championship this year will hope he did like Disney just did a free sets of push ups right after that? No, I went to bed early like. That was the only way to stop myself through is just you gotta be unconscious. Yeah, I got a, I got into today. All right. We're going to get into our quarterback streamers, but I wanna know some names at the defensive position. Oh, you if they're they're, I mean, they're very owned, but if somehow the Los Angeles chargers were dropped because someone did not want to play them against the Los Angeles Rams they get to play CJ Beathard and the San Francisco forty Niners..

"Golick and wingo, ESPN radio and ESPN to get in touch with us. We'll hear some of your calls a little bit later eight six zero five or six five five. Oh, time five five five. What was the last time? You've Vance McDonald somebody and what do you think about the quarterback situation in Tampa Bay? Should it be Ryan Fitzpatrick? Should it be Jameson? We'll get to those in just a moment. But a couple of NFL teams are making changes to the young guys. Basically, they're having a second thought or a second opinion. The head coaches are in second opinion is brought to you by Cleveland Clinic men to avoid a health issue. Getting worse mentioned it to a doctor. Visit Cleveland Clinic dot org slash mentioned it so here. Now, let us present the most obvious thing that we knew it was going to happen this week. Cleveland Browns head coach, Hugh Jackson. Why is you know, how to play quarterback a National Football League comes in a lot of different ways? I informed. The group this morning that we're going to start Baker Mayfield. And that tyrod will be the backup. Obviously Baker has worked extremely hard put herself in position to be the backup. And obviously in this game was able to go out and play. Well, he nailed it. So that's the way we we're going to go about it. Listen, the only shocking thing out of there as we've had now a third way to pronounce tyrod tyrod tyrod trodden tyrod. Yeah. So that that was the only really news that came out of that. I mean, we all knew this. And it seems we won't pronouncing that name for a while. Now unless Baker I ended up on the bench by play or by injury. Yeah. I mean, I don't think all these quarterbacks should've started week one. I thought they would all end up starting though, it was going to be a staggered thing at some point. And we're getting there, and we're getting there rather quickly. Now will we get to another guy that's going to be starting? But this was this was the right decision this team to evolve the right way and say okay now. Now, it's time to put him on the field. And I'm excited to see what he does. I I question this pick without question. I was one of the people that question, I'm not sure how Baker is going to fair, and he certainly looked good in his time in there. But there's a difference of going in and a half a game. And now when teams can prepare for you and a difference even in how you prepare as well. But he seems to have all the makings right now. He has the offense down. He has commanded the Hoddle. He he has a leadership of that team at such a young age. So the arrows up in the right direction. Now, it's about practical application time as the established as he's trying to establish himself as the starter. I think one thing that got talked about some might be underrated. Even as far as our understanding is how much his offense it Oklahoma prepared him for this because Lincoln Riley and the outfit. They're running. There is one that the NFL coaching groups are starting to source from we heard about coaches going there and asking questions about an offense. That does what a lot of the good NFL offense is do and what we saw Baker do any his half. Which is used the middle of the field. Use your. Tight ends in your big skill position. Weapons to help try and exploit matchups that we know are part of what modern NFL offenses do best. And by the way, that's a big reason. Why a lot of NFL front office are looking at Lincoln Riley as potentially in the NFL down the road. Just be Oklahoma. You're gonna need to be prepared for that. Because they will come calling it a little bit. So that one was not surprising this one also I guess not surprising considering what happened on Sunday the cardinals through in. Josh Rosen would like a minute to go and said, okay, go where does the game down to the bare? So Steve Wilks making the official announcement looking at the situation of valuating the film by weight and the quarterback was edition undecided that Josh Rosen would be out of starter going forward. Josh play a lot of confidence. I think he gives us opportunity to be able to be successful. So we have Josh Rosen. So now we have all four guys that were taken in the top ten starting in week. Four Baker darnold Rosen and Allen. One of the last time that happened when two thousand twelve oh not too long lock RG three Weeden and tannehill. And also Russell Wilson was a third round pick all started by week four in two thousand twelve to new starters are AirAsia is home to Seattle. And it's not the legion of boom any orders. Josh rosen. Be facing a Cleveland is at Oakland. And they don't have a pass rush there because they traded their guy way. So he may have may have a clean chocolate and talks about it. Every Josh Rosen. I thought was the guy most prepared to come in and start right away. But they had Sam Bradford. So I get that. But your own three and Bradford's not liking up. So this was another obvious change. And I'm looking forward to this guy coming in with four minutes ago saying go win the game. Obviously through the interception. First couple of passes. I thought were nice out of him. So I'm looking forward to him starting his process Seattle team, which by the way, harass the hell out of debt Prescott behind a much better line than Josh has. It's going to be interesting real quick one for you guys before we go of the four quarterbacks of the four young quarterbacks that we're seeing on the field. Obviously the mar- Jackson lagging behind betting on going. Forward right now is going to have the best rest of their season. Rest of this season's of this season. Which quarterback do you think performs the best the best rest of this season? I'm still gonna say Rosen even though they're only three Josh Rosen. Best quarterback performance for the rest of the season. From the four rookies they're going to start this season. I like Roseanne I really do or darnold. I'm gonna go Baker Mayfield. I think he's got better weapons than the rest of them. Boy that that could be we'll see what happens. We'll get the heck out of here. Yeah. Hey, by the way, TV viewers. We're.

"Digest and two teams face major decisions early on here, and they're young season. Both of whom we saw action last night. But we also have to deal with the fact that there was a crime committed on the field last night, an absolute crime. Did you guys see what Vance McDonald did to Chris Conte last night, that was appalling. Every moment of that was appalling. I feel like there was a collective gasp in the American consciousness at that moment in time, as we all watched football game, there are a million violent actions that go on. It's part of the reason we see all the rules that are being put in place to try and help the game, be a safer product as safe as it can be in a sport that is inherently unsafe. Last night we saw someone go out of their way to do the unsafest thing possible. Like in a game where the absence of levian bell is going to be a major storyline where he ends up in a game where Ryan Fitzpatrick is your league leader in yards passing yards as a quarterback right now, we're Ryan Fitzpatrick has thrown through three games. For the second most passing yards in history of the NFL behind Tom Brady in a game where those things are happening, where we also had Infinity penalties called, especially on the Steelers and on Gerald McCoy for even the appearance of hitting a quarterback all through all of that. The most agreed just thing to happen on the field. Last night was Vance McDonald, who is the Pittsburgh, one of the Pittsburgh Steelers tight ends stiff arming of buccaneers defensive back Chris Conte, who you may remember from his days at the Chicago Bears, he's a guy that's a rough, go as far as being post rise on a big stage and listen Vance McDonald owning every bit of his truth after the game Vance McDonald when he asked about what he was aiming to do on what ended up being a fifty six yard touchdown run last night after the catch. The Steelers had hundred eighteen yards after I contact on receptions Monday night the most in the NFL since two. Thousand sixteen about half of those came from Vance McDonald. Listen to this. Savage is motivation. Just punish them. Inflict as much course arm to awful this. The first thing I think of. Through heart lake forest? Yeah. Temple to just crush. Yeah. "I'm saying that from a fantasy football standpoint, I like those odds are Brian Hoosier sleeper pick for this week in terms of fantasy football, or you know what? I'm going to go with Vance McDonald. I think he's back. I think he's healthy if he's not committing penalties than. Were you. Get out of them. I think you know, I know our sleeper last week was Jesse James? And he really came through and he had an amazing week and I am high on the Jesse James train, but there were a lot of sets where they had both of those guys out there. Vance McDonald had a lot of opportunities play. I think he's working his way back into the rotation. He's working his way back into Ben Roethlisberger's confidence, and he's one of those guys that could be forgotten. I feel on this team that the tight ends on the Pittsburgh Steelers offense are forgotten because you have to think about so many other guys on that team. So number eighty, nine Vance McDonald is a sleeper. In fact, I am starting him in one of my traditional leaks. Yeah, I, I'm tempted with Vance McDonald depending on what leader in, especially if you're doing a fan type league, he's typically cheap, but the production doesn't necessarily always match and said that scares me. Jesse. James has his prices going up because his stock is rising because obviously playing well. So that's not necessarily the sleeper anymore. I have a have a sleeper here. I'm also going to give you a sleeper with my prediction for those that I'm gonna give you a flex player in this stat line might not be considered asleep because some people my day. He's been pretty good so far this year, but the stat line might not be pretty, but he might get you a lot of points and that that would be I think juju Smith Schuster is a player that is going to really break out this game in terms of points. I could see him having a big red zone game. I maybe not as many yards per catch, maybe not a ton of yards in general. That I could see him also getting a lot of points. I was really tempted to say James Connor, but believe it or not defensively the buccaneers or one of the better teams against stopping the run. Maybe that's because the opposition has always had to play catch up against them because putting up so many points that are causing throwing the ball, throwing the ball, throw the ball. I, I might change right here on the fly. Maybe I will say James Connor because I could almost the Jerome Bettis s James Carter stat line of something like, I don't know. Twelve carries two touchdowns, you know, not many yards. He might have more receptions than than anything else. Although James Connor juju on your roster, definitely saying, if you haven't been putting him in there, you're dumb put them in there. But James Connor view looking for a flex guy, I think take a stab at him because I think the Steelers are going to try to run the football. They're gonna try some play action stuff, and I think goal line. James, Connor on the goal line. So Brian, what do you think about that. Like that pick James Kohner because tell you what you're like. Juju Smith Schuster. That's a fantasy football insomniac wake the last two weeks so I was going to, I was going to admonish you actually for that Jeff. I mean, it's tough because it's one of those things where. I or no. Have you did Steelers? Offense is so diverse. You know, I mean, they've got so many weapons that another another sleeper pick positively. James Washington, you know, you gotta start last week. He's a player that you think that is only going to develop a report with Rothlisberger as the year progresses. I, I look at him the way juju progress last last year, dude. You didn't have a catch and week one against Cleveland in two thousand seventeen, and it wasn't until midway through. He started to kind of turn it on. Are you agreeing with me there? Bryan yourself..

"And in the final two games of last year when Markey's Lee was out keeling coal and Westbrook combined for forty, four percent of the Jacksonville targets, he saw at least six targets and six of his seven games last regular. Season. So again, deeper league looking for PR stash for that by week stretch the US Brooke should be on your radar. Yeah, we all think you and Kohl's going to be the guy, but I don't think that's a given. We're still figuring out what happens in that Jacksonville pass passing offense with marquees Lee now out for the year, and I currently have keeling coal over Dede Westbrook, but I think there's enough volume potentially for for two guys last town player. Last one here is tight end option Vance McDonald, listen. I know the tight end stats get goofy in a hurry. I talked about that often, but over the past three years, there have been six instances in which defensive allowed ten own were tight end touchdowns and a lot of Ponant to complete at least seventy two percent of their passes to tight ends with a single year. The Cleveland Browns of under three times. The rest of the NFL has done it three times combined. So they seem to struggle defending tight end over the past few years could be a name to keep an eye out for week one, Matthew and maybe has some report with Big Ben that persists over the course of the season. Events, Donald banged up a little bit. This preseason define, ah, but somebody like I mean that that Jacksonville game last year that that playoff game like not a fluke. Yeah, not a fluke. They they like what they have in Vance McDonald divine. I'm sure you remember him from his forty nine days. I mean, like vans. McDonalds, I think, has some talent and it's worth noting last year, the Steelers top ten NFL in terms of red zone targets to the tight end. If you're looking for a second tight end deeper league tight in Vance, McDonald is certainly somebody to take a flyer on. We are playing pigskin, pick him again this year. Many of you have asked and we are playing. So join our group search. ESPN's fantasy focus owes six. Oh, well, no, but we've got a wrinkle, a wrinkle. This year. We are no longer just saying, all right, forty Niners or Vikings. We are incorporating point spreads as well. No, there. There's been a federal ban lifted on prohibiting sports. Gambling on a state by state basis. So now states have the right to eventually legalize sports, gambling. Those that aren't Nevada and many are already on that path. So we're going to have some fun.
