Just just awful twelve year old boy scout is gone. Unbelievable. Andrew McMorris of waiting river. This happened at manner. Ville people know on the way to the Hamptons and other sad. Boy scout story to the twelve year old boy scout died Saturday after he was digging under a sand dune and it collapsed on top of him. It's crazy. Yeah. This is bizarre. Michigan. It's in Michigan. Who's the scoutmaster uses let kids run around and dig in Santa early was missing for thirty minutes before anybody realized that oh what happened to him? Where's the boy? Where's gauge and another twelve year old who could die of sand? Quicksand either. No how about the story of an Harlem. This is unbelievable nine year old girl falls out of a six story window and lifts she fell six stories and she lives. She landed on a soft roofing talk about wow. Kismet? I mean, it's just unbelievable. She unidentified nine year old was rushed to Saint Nicholas from the Saint Nicholas houses on Frederick Douglass boulevard to Harlem hospital she was conscious and alert. Apparently, she fell onto a roof a soft roof of a childcare center. That's unbelievable. So it's like a software for the kids can play on the on the roof, so Billy. No, it's not that. They don't play on the roof. No, no, no. You know with some of the kids can play on the roof. They have like a little place set up in those places. So I try to get into every county all sixteen counties, at least once every two months. But I usually do more than that. It's a lot of calendering, but it's important, I think Representative need to be connected to our community's askew. Some vote some issues and want to start with its occasion. Since you are a high school teacher, wondering if you could talk a little bit about what you see as sort of the needs in education right now with education, the biggest issues that we have is the use of time in the mandates that come from the federal government. We need to make sure that whatever initiative or pushing through is not necessarily a one size fits all four, you know, as a mandate for every school district, but that the ideas are there for that for schools to be able to use an adapted to fit their demographic to sit their community. And I think that's really important. I can use the example of of testing, right. It's a huge subject in education circles. Teachers want to have accountability. It's not a lack of desire for count ability. We want to make sure that we can measure our success or performance, but the mandates that comes through with testing end up actually hurting the education of the student in school district. Like the one that I work in in Rutherford county, the mandate score testing require that we spend about three weeks out of the academic year focusing on just a liberating exams that actually that we should be spent. So all I'm teaching our students. Right? So that is a huge missed opportunity that I think it's, I think it's intentioned well, I think the execution because of the mandates actually shift the focus kind of a way from education. So we just need to make sure that whatever mandates coming through in federal government, they actually are there to improve our students, academic performance. And they're not just one five sits all mandate. And notice the one of the things that you talk about on your website is open spaces, and I just wondered if you could expand upon that y open spaces as a priority in your campaign. In my district, there are several communities that rely on on open spaces for tourism and to attract people to come and visit. Unfortunately, there is no industry. There hasn't been industry in many years. Many of these are our old coal mining towns that you know are left with these beautiful caves and these hiking trails, and they continue to expand on the his to draw people in in many cases because of where they are, you know, kind of mountainous regions. You know, there's not going to be a huge draw for four larger industries to come unfortunately. So they have to rely on what they have, which is they're beautiful natural heritage. And so we do need to preserve those things. Need to make sure that we, that our federal government is setting aside money for four, those public spaces, those public lands so that the local communities can can apply for the grants and received the grants to actually build those places out and make them an income her as well. It's also important that we recognize that these open spaces really only can be preserved for also have the environmental protections that are put in place to make sure that we're not that we're not polluting that we are not clear cutting trees. So if we intentionally focus on these public lands and these public spaces, we can actually preserve an economic builder for some of these more rural communities as well as preserve our natural heritage and at some of the most beautiful spaces, whatever you would ever wanna visit. So I encourage you come on out to granny county or van Buren county and check out some of our public spaces out here. All right, excellent, looser. Anything else that you want to make sure that our listeners know about you or about your campaign?
