Jesus The Scapegoat
"As the day breaks. Jesus has been through three religious trials and the rulers declare him guilty the next step. If they want to enact the death penalty is to present him to the roman governor pontius pilot because only the romans can hand down the death penalty so he's taken from his religious trials to a civil trial with pilot. The people accused jesus of claiming to be a king. since that would pose a threat to the roman authorities. In luke's account they even say jesus had forbidden them to pay their taxes to caesar. But we know that's ally based on his response to them in luke twenty pilot questions about being a king and in john's account. Jesus explains that his kingdom is not of this world otherwise his followers would be fighting. And they aren't. He says he's not there to fight but to speak truth in pilot responds with the question. That has always been popular response to the gospel. What is truth. In luke's account pilot jesus to king herod before proceeding with things. It seems like pilot is trying to find a loophole for having to make a judgment because jesus from another jurisdiction even though his alleged crimes have been committed in jerusalem so he sends him off to king. Herod a higher authority. The king and his soldiers tried to wound and shame jesus by putting a purple robe and a crown of thorns on his head mocking his royalty and send him back to pontius pilot so now pile has to make some kind of judgment call but before jesus was ever brought to pilot for the first time while he was still being beaten and mocked at the high priest house overnight. Pilots wife was asleep in her bed. Having a nightmare about jesus it was so upsetting that she sends word to pilot to leave. Jesus alone maybe. This dream is from god as a means of heaping judgment on pilot when he surrenders jesus to be crucified. Or maybe the streets from satan who continues to try to thwart the crucifixion. Because he knows it means his defeat when pilot returns to the people declares jesus innocent but he offers him an option he says typically on passover. We release a prisoner so should be jesus or this guy named barabbas barabbas is a convicted felon who committed multiple crimes including robbery insurrection. And even murder and the people choose to release barabbas. If you with us during the old testament you may remember the story of the sacrificial goat and the scapegoat from vivica sixteen one goat is sacrificed as a sin offering and the other is set free into the wilderness. This is a picture of that story. Actually that was a picture of this story and it's also a picture of us. We are barabbas. Set free because christ was kept as the sin offering. The people demand that jesus be crucified pilot tries to dodge any responsibility by handing jesus over to the people but no matter how dismissive he is and no matter. How many times. He washes his hands. Passivity doesn't equal innocence as the people respond. They accidentally speak a truth. That is anyone's only hope in matthew. Twenty seven twenty five. They say his blood beyond us on our children realize it but that is the only hope for any of us that the blood of a sacrificed would cover. Our sins is willing sacrifice. Paid for the sins of all gods kids
Here's when new movies will air
"A film with two pretty big stars in it. Yes. Let him go with Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. You know, Kitty with the movie awards season, right around the corner. I sure hope that let him go becomes at least part of the awards conversation. Because it really is that good. Just based on the dynamic performances from Leeds stars Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, but Lesley Manville and Jeffrey Donovan shine to really the entire cast lights up this family revenge thriller that finds Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. Squaring off against the lawless family known as the wee Boys who live off the grid in the Dakotas and the three brothers were ruled by their vindictive mother, Lesley Manville, and one of the guys Will. Britain is married to their daughter in law and is abusing her and their grandson. Well, when Lane and Costner try to rescue them, But we boys start threatening them, and that gets Lane and Costner really fired up. You know, it's such a simple but dramatic story and just so very well done. And here's the other thing. Kitty. Aside from tenant, and maybe Russell Kroll's movie unhinge its the biggest movie opening directly in theaters you don't because most everything has been streaming and had limited release, And so it'll be interesting to see how big a draw Diane Lane and Kevin Costner are for theaters this weekend and beyond. But I'll tell you, you can't go wrong with this good, old fashioned Western tinged thriller. So I'm given. Let him go. Four out of four stars. Excellent. Okay. Wow. High ratings. And then what? We got a couple of two or three other ones. Maybe you could just go over. There was real quickly for a teen coming of age drama called 18 to party, and it's set in 1984 stars. Tanner Flood for Moonrise Kingdom in the Leiva Clark of TV's draft bill. I like that. I'm giving you three out of four stars and another revenge thriller called True to The Game, too. With Erica Peoples and Vivica Fox and Faith Evans. I'm giving it 3.5 out of four stars really like that one. And then there's a Swedish psychological horror film called Koko de Coco Dog, and It's just weird, but I couldn't turn away from it. Not a big recommendation. I didn't love it didn't hate it. So I'm giving it to out of four stars. But you
Examining the Record of Amy Coney Barrett as Nomination Fight Heats Up
"President Trump's nominee to the supreme court appeared at the White House over the weekend. Judge Amy Conybeare at pay tribute to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who seat she is hoping to fill. Should I be confirmed Will be mindful of who came The flag of the United States is still flying at half staff and memory of justice. Ruth. Bader Ginsburg to mark the end of a great. American. Life. Justice Ginsburg began her career at a time when women were not welcome in the legal profession. But she not only broke glass ceilings she smashed them. But there are many ways their philosophies are quite different judge Barrett's legal career. We'll be under the microscope in the weeks ahead. So this is a good time to talk with our justice and judiciary editor, Vivica, Novak, Vivica good to have you here. To be with mark, I want to start out with the basics just who is judge amy, coney? Barrett and why are conservatives so enthusiastic about her nomination. She is a known conservative. She was a clerk for Justice Scalia and has often spoken of him very admiringly. She's been a lot professor Notre Dame and she has continued to teach while she has been on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago in general the anti-abortion groups feel very confident that she would be a vote in their favour whether she'd Overturn Roe v Wade is is unclear, but she is generally not a fan of abortion. Obviously abortion is getting a lot of discussion in this conversation, but this is a court that could. Rule on many different areas including health care even the twenty twenty election would her presence mean on the court? Well, she will be the person who gives the conservatives a six to three majority on the court, and even if Justice Roberts who has occasionally sided with the liberals even if he does that in the future on on certain cases, you know they will still have five votes, five conservative votes. So that's that's one important factor here. She will be probably not a vote in favor of upholding the affordable care act and that's one of the. First arguments. The court will hear it's coming up in November is a challenge to Obamacare and Justice Roberts a couple of years ago in another court challenge to the care he voted with the Liberals and she has actually said in a speech that she believes he voted wrong in that case in fact, he wrote the opinion she believes he was wrong. So that's one important issue coming up, and of course, the election none of us really wants to relive the two thousand election I don't think which was turned to the Supreme Court but it. Could happen it could happen, and if it does, you know there are some trepidation about the six three makeup of the court being certainly not in favor Joe Biden, we have election looming around the corner Republicans are moving forward planning to hold hearings the week of October twelfth in the hopes of confirming her before Election Day. So who will motivate more? How will this affect the election really good question conservatives generally in the past have been known to be more motivated by the prospect of putting more people on the federal courts including the Supreme Court. Democrats this time though are going to be framing things I think in terms of issues they're going to be talking about the affordable care act which most Americans are in favor of most Americans like it. They'll be talking to some degree about abortion probably not as much. They'll be talking about the election though and what could happen there. They will try very hard to peel off a couple of Republican votes. It's GonNa be tough hall, and Right now it looks like Mitch McConnell has. The votes and there isn't very much the Democrats can do about it. There may be a few procedural things that can slow things down, but it is really stretching to think that the Democrats I think could could slow this down, push it after the election, and then perhaps kill the nomination that's really pie in the sky. At this point it seems both parties feel a sense of urgency here as this is a lifetime appointment here and particularly her being so young, she's only forty eight. Could be on the court for a good long time and it's unclear. You know there are some other justices who are not that young but there are a lot who are actually not that old. So you know president trump has made it a point to name. People who have probably a good couple of decades at least on the court. Are Movements now to, for instance, put term limits on justices even if that were to make it through Congress and that's that's going to be hard to do. But even if were to make it through, even if a president were to sign it, it probably wouldn't apply to justices who are already on the court. It probably would be applied going forward. There are also people who talk about expanding the court. Some people call court packing that's kind of a derisive term, but expanding the court to add two more justices or more. That's really a tough lift but these things are being talked about more than we've heard in quite a long time. VIVICA Novak. Thanks again. Thank you.

"Welcome to pop your source for nightmare weddings and Yoga. Ball sits. Big Round of applause I like get. Nina's often that you guys but hunters here has always and so is actress producer and. Legend. Viviana. A. Welcome. Back. Welcome where we are so excited to have you hundred GonNa Flirt with you. The entire show get prepared for them. Time Vivica just walked taping. That works for me baby just a little. Just a little took us. Describe my style of flirting. So this is. My God I'll. Little tickle we can get started now. All Right Ben Affleck was just banned from arm his upcoming James Bond Premiere at least that's what the tabloids are claiming. It's probably total but supposedly bond producers are afraid the couples pedia will overshadow the movie and Daniel Craig's okay. They have like a you've obviously you're a lot more famous than both hundred and I combined you too many movie premieres yet we like it. It's a big win for us tonight on nightly pop. If you going to an event and for movie you were in and producers said, listen you're man can't come how do you handle that challenge? Cry. Let's start right there. We've never look here. Work showed up gave as our how I not shining I. If this is true is totally unfair. Why does the girl not have to shot because she's in a grid we? Away from. She has died. He has done for them hunter. What do you think about if you could not bring me to a movie premiere as a standing date for you because your girl canceled? Would you be asset? That's okay with me and I think if they really don't want Ben Affleck showing up, put it in a city that doesn't have Dunkin donuts. I guarantee you. Not Going. There for some reason I mean honestly I have to say I don't know why I'm leaning towards this being true but I sort of believe it. I kind of feel like this sort of makes sense I mean I don't know if Ben Affleck is going to overshadow Daniel Craig's something about them always walking those. Dogs which I Got? Every day. Why it's always just so staged feeling for some reason I I do believe. I kind of believe that they're like listen just leave your boyfriend at home or moving on. While Shirley's there and knows what she wants when it comes to a relationship and the first rule is she's not going to live with anybody you guys. She recently told the mirror that she's not sure that she could live with somebody again and that he may have to buy the house next to her. She's just too old for this. Like it okay. I just want a new. And nobody's coming up here running thing but me so I'm all with their Charlie's let them know when it's happening to come over and do the deed. With after other than that stale ass next door right you. My God. First of all, my type of woman this is Great Vivica. I'm happy to buy any house near Your House I'm going GonNa have to save up a little bit but I can do it and then seconds I see where they're coming from but it also feels like Charlie's is coming from a place of she hasn't had healthy relationships lately maybe or she hasn't found that person you do want to live with I. Think we all kind of think that after we go to break, we're like no more of the opposite sex ever again taking that much of my personal mind and then raging you find someone. And you can grow with and maybe they start outside the house maybe eventually you're like, Hey, let's have toothbrushes in the same room. Let's try that out for a little while. Yeah, I feel like with Charlene I think that also when you are single for such a long time, you kind of get set in your ways and just having the idea of someone come in and just rearranging things becomes really daunting and just quite frankly really annoying and to be honest Shirley's does not need to settle. She doesn't need to do anything that is inconvenient for her at all. So like I. Totally under understand her mindset of like I don't. Yeah. Come over when you need to do the deed otherwise I don't need to be moving my cashmere sweaters for you to put your jeans and the next door take your time says the girl that got engaged in seven months. I was like, all right give it to me okay Brian. Austin. Green is getting defensive about dating multiple women after his split for Meghan Box Ryan was on the Hollywood raw podcast you listened to that a lot right with DAX holt an atom. Glenn where he said he isn't playing anybody but the whole point of dating is to talk to several people at once. What people normally do when they get out of something is they date they they talked to multiple people at once I'm not playing anybody like this is. My life is just is much more under a microscope. Let me ask you. So should he have to tell the woman? He's dating that he's seeing other people I'm GONNA ask Hunter Africa's I can't wait to hear the assay. I appreciate honesty to be very honest with you in their plans. Call dating onto someone says it's meeting. You is called dating I. Aloma that lashes game checks checks the whatever. I don't know where to put them our weekly and it's called in about this already. Just really want to make sure you have the perfect call to play So data apparently one of the editors went on a podcast and said that had a vendetta against Sheena and admitted to editing to look like a pedophile and like just making her look as bad as possible in the Eddie and then she got fire and released a big statement about it and I just want us to talk about it. Chris. I As somebody who watches vander pomp yet? You don't watch mander pump. We'll know and I wanted you to explain this to me because when I first heard the story I don't really know anything about Sheena Shea. Like she's the one she's like the meanest person from Vanderbilt Papa. Doc's or whatever I just know that name and Stasi but I when I read the headlines that like an editor revealed that they gave her the villain et. I was really shocked and I was like. Surely this is being exaggerated and this is not the case but then. I read it and it was like this is like what happened so but I would love to more about this. While also for those who don't want vendor pump rules it is a show that has gone downhill for the past two seasons just rolling downhill into the trash. Can it had its peak moments around seasons two and three and four fight me on that. I don't really care. The point is is that the last few seasons the People on this reality show on Bravo have gotten married. They got houses. They're just literally the most boring people live so this season they tried to mix in some new younger idiots to fight with each other. Who technically still work at the restaurant and to show about a restaurant owned by Lisa Vendor pump people work the point is is that one of the shining stars of this otherwise terrible season is sheena she she shea is a perpetual Lee Single. Although I don't think she's single right now but that's that's real life non vendor pump woman who loves to flirt and Hook up with like kind of every new character that kind of appears that's her whenever things it makes her amazing she releases pop music. She was divorced. She loves to bring up her divorce like she is everything for this show. She is pulling it on her back. Okay that is the best part about her. But this season she did get kind of a crazy edit meaning like just a lot of embiid. They made her look like really embarrassing. And I think part of me was like when I saw this I was like yeah but she brought all of the fun and weird and Kooky stuff to this otherwise boring show but I guess if it's your real life of it's you you're like why am I getting. Why are they pulling out? These insane quotes. Why they making me look like a desperate crazy person as it turns out this. Bravo editor. I think the Bravo. Fandom makes everyone involved with the shows feel like so hype about the situation that they would go on a podcast and be like L. Let me tell you everything you know. Clearly this person. This editor breed dellinger. Who's now no longer with Bravo? Felt comfortable saying yeah. Give her the Shitty edit. Because she's crazy and whatever but it's it is weird to say that specifically and not say you know she makes great TV period. She get fired at it. She saved because she quit because she got fired. Because you went on a podcast. And there's a clip here that we can play if we want On the PODCAST. The podcast is called the twisted plot. Cast with Evelyn Marley. And she said if she knows what's good for her she'd befriend me because my favorite game is finding all the embarrassing things that she does and putting them all in she quipped on one episode. I think it's the way that she said it like. If you think that reality show editors aren't out here cutting together. The most embarrassing moments of the character's lives into the cut. You're crazy 'cause that's why the show is good. That's why you would watch a reality show. You know what I mean to me. It's not like this offense right. It is interesting because then Sheena herself with this. This sucks like I like I mad about it but to me. It's kind of like if this woman had said anything. Maybe she would have said. I'm getting this weird edit. But that's just what you get for being on a reality show of sometimes. You're the ruin. Sometimes you're the angel sometimes that and like you have no control over that you signed the contract. Maybe it's unfair but like that's not something that you can really fight against that the thing is like. I don't think this woman was necessarily doing anything that wasn't hurting her job title. But you can't go on a podcast and say like I am purposefully doing this because then the fans like really mad you know. And then she posted a blog post and she said to the critics who've made it their mission to get me fired. You succeeded in your shortsighted mission and solve nothing. I've been removed for the show. I love and while it's a heartbreak for me because I genuinely loved editing the show it will not ruin me professionally. Normal it changed the editing of the show at all. I agree with that and I hope it doesn't because Sheena is the best part of that fucking show. Wow what do you think no? I think that's I think that's really really interesting. I correct me if I'm wrong. But it's rare to get that sort of honesty about like how the sausage is made when it comes to reality TV. Because I think intellectually we all know that like reality. Tv shows are made in the editing room. But like to have it. Actually articulated by an editor is really surprising to me. I'm like it's no wonder they got fired so surprising to me. That people don't seem to understand that When you watch a reality show is the people's worst moments of their lives. It's the most embarrassing moments of their day. It's the most drama like I don't understand what people necessarily vendor pump was going to give if they gave Sheena affair quote Unquote Fair. Edit we wouldn't get all of these iconic sheena moments and the and the show would be as boring as ever which is the problem with the show now is that all they do is talk about their houses in Valley village. And the that's it that there's no. There's no intrigue right. So it's just it's just this whole up. This whole thing is just like funny to me because I get that when you have a favorite you wanted to be fair for them like when you stand you. Want your your favorite to be happy but it's also kind of like look. How TV works this is. How.

"So you had you had a lot of energy to burn out. They always used to call me cart. William Angie nickname for the is genetic I was always just I just always had a lot of energy so I mean I don't see any reason why you know once you launch. Us podcasting start to cast. I really don't see any reason why you couldn't develop that into another talk show. I mean it just because the one didn't work out doesn't mean that you end up doing another one. Listen I'm with you on that This I would love that. I've actually thought of that like this. I hope this goes great and it can lead to be on TV five days a week. Because I loved it loved having a talk show. And if I wasn't actress an actress I would probably be a sportscaster because I love sports. I love being busy. I just I. I love watching. Espn so I hope it does lead to me getting another talk show EPI awesome. Listen I I'm sure your team is already thinking in this direction. But now because the businesses in such a weird state I believe that a lot of I think that a lot of companies are looking for ways to do programming that is non scripted striven programming content as scripted stuff had to shut down. And so they are. I know they're looking for programming to fill those gaps and also programming that is not of the budgets that be the the scripted shows. Are you know so I don't know I feel like now that you started this podcast. It seems like you have a thing that you could be pitching. I I think now maybe a good time to start having those conversations because it always takes eight to eighteen months from the time you hit something to you know able to get it on the air so if that happens if you get it on the air. Yeah how many. How many pitch meetings that would nowhere. But that's part of it listening right now so I don't know it sounds like it. Sounds like there's opportunity that will be great. I mean now. It's changing so much because you've got so many genres from Amazon Hulu Netflix. I mean you just got so many different I call it other so yes exactly that There before the great thing is is that you. It seems like you really. You know who you are in you know what you like. That unique collection of things that you're into is different than anybody else you know like your. You have the specific collection of interest. So I don't know I think I think you could make your show anything that you want it to be. That is about all these different things that you're into. I think it sounds really clear. Well like I said for my show at got people from all different walks of life because then coming up. I'm going to be interviewing my girls from the WNBA because I've been a sponsor of the WNBA LA sparks from the last five years So that's where I kind of get to do my sports caster thing. You know what I mean. And what have you learned from these folks like when you're talking to people like different people who've different people that you admire different people in your life that you achieve stuff for you you sort of collect of wisdom along the way particularly from you know Wnba just the discipline that it takes what have you. What have you been able to take away from that? Like sat learn what it's like to be in their shoes like I've learned from the W. innovate girls. I had no idea that those girls weren't really being taken care of as far as pay their accommodations. That a lot of them have to win. The season's over go play over in Europe just to make a decent salary. They make more money over in Europe than they do in America and it's tricky because college basketball when you go to the Games. The reuser packed. So it's like where does everyone go so I've been working with the WNBA? Like I said from the beginning I mean is there when Lisa Leslie and all those girls. I did a film called. You WanNA remember that and I. The lot of the girls came in played. So I've been a huge fan because I played basketball growing up and so to know when I became more I naturally involved as far as being the sponsor and going. Hey we gotta feel these arenas we gotta get these girls bigger salaries we get these girls. Bigger exposure warning that part of the business and how as a celebrity I can lend my voice and to bring more awareness to their plight I've enjoyed but it's been tough. Yeah and so I would imagine. Is there any talk about when I guess no one really knows? What anything again writer. Everyone's just sort of in a holding pattern. Yeah I mean tonight's going to be the W NBA draft. And they're doing it to call it how everyone's doing it now where you know. It's like a video conferencing basically. Yeah Kinda I mean just imagine. That's what pisses me off that. It's like this thing is taken away those moments of having your family sitting in the audience and they call your name. Everybody's crying and you can always have that moment and such and such is the fourth round pick you know like I just. I feel so bad for them. You know some of the athletes that going to the Olympics All these wonderful moments that were missing out on that only happened for people once in their lifetime. Right yeah but again. It can be a very difficult thing to cultivate when you when you want things to happen immediately in any specific. Oh Wow specifically right now when we are forced to have no choice but to be patient Exac Lake. Where are we necessarily able to do the things that we want to do? But also there's the exiling of like not knowing when or not knowing if we're safe and not knowing you know what the world is GonNa look like in three six nine months. So what are some good ways to cultivate patients well for me? I'm going to be very honest with you I. I did become a patient person until I became older. Took no they got those say those old chains patients virtue. Rome wasn't built in a day off the tomatoes things to sit still and wait..

Well, whether you're married cohabitating or simply in it for the long haul any committed relationship needs a few tools to make it through the years. So this week here are seven. Science back secrets to make your long term relationship. Feel more. Like our Bruno Mars, Mary you flash mob and less like the theme song from married with children. So let's start out with secret number one, which is be your own person. Okay. So before sharing your life with another adult. It's important to have spent some time adulting yourself, you don't have to have your life cross indexed color coded, but it is important to have separated in a healthy way from your family of origin. So if your alarm clock is a phone, call from mom, or you don't get know how to do your own laundry. Invest the time to get your life on solid footing before merging it with another humans. Secret. Number two is be a team. Now. Some problems seem on solvable a fundamental difference in parenting styles in curable, slobby tude or opposite values around money. But the least constructive approach to sticky problems is to blame each other and fight it out. So instead, try and approach called unified detachment unified detachment is a fundamental shift in perspective that joins you and your partner together against the problem. So rather than approaching a problem as you against your crazy unreasonable partner approach the situation as the two of you United against the challenge. So for example, what should we do to save money for the future or how can we work together to fight less secret? Number three is outweighed the negatives with positives. So a classic study out of the university of Washington asked heterosexual newly. Lead couples to discuss a hot button issue in their relationship for fifteen minutes, and the headline making results found that divorce could be predicted from just the first three minutes of the couple's argument and the key. It turned out was the balance of negative and positive interactions. So in their three minute discussion clips spouses in stable relationships, not careening towards divorce predictably display, the less negative affect like contempt. Belligerence anger defensiveness or whining and more positive affect like validation affection and humor. All right. That makes sense. But interestingly for the husband's examining, the entire fifteen minutes of the argument amplified the ability to predict divorce so over the course of the fifteen minutes, husbands in stable, marriages got a little more negative, but they simultaneously stayed positive always making jokes listening and being affectionate. By contrast, husbands in marriages that would eventually end in divorce got increasingly negative and less positive over the fifteen minutes by the end calling their spouse by cute, nickname or validating. Her viewpoint. Went out the window now later the same research lab developed the magic ratio for a healthy relationship for every negative interaction. They advise you need five positive interactions. In other words, stable couples do argue, but that arguing is filled with joking and teasing and listening and love. Secret. Number four be equal a study in the American journal of sociology found that couples it gala -tarian relationships are less likely to divorce than couples where one brings home the bacon and the other cooks it up. So how do you make things more gala -tarian? It's not as simple as splitting up the chores along traditional gender lines. Because a study in the journal marriage and family review differentiated between low control and high control tasks now, low control tasks are named as such because there is little control or choice in the matter. They have to be done more or less continuously like loading and unloading, the dishwasher at specific times like making dinner or on demand. Like changing a diaper, high control tasks by contrast can be done when it's convenient. And they have a specific beginning and end like mowing the lawn or doing a home repair. So traditionally low control tasks have been designated as women's while high control. Tasks have been labelled as men's therefore to increase gala terrorism. Take a page from many same sex relationships and divvy up tasks by interest and value rather than by gender. So for example, the social butterfly takes responsibility for play dates and social events, the foodie makes dinner or does the grocery shopping, and the tasks no one wants, well, you have three options outsource work around because no one has to water plants if you don't have any or divide them up, and even if the dividing ends up falling along gender lines as long as you decided on those assignments together you'll go a long way towards shrinking resent. Now as a PS in families with kids. There's an avalanche of kid related invisible. Labor scheduling play dates, researching pediatricians ordering soccer uniforms and then returning them when they don't fit and in heterosexual relationships this keeping track of. A thousand and one things usually falls to the woman. So how does this get started? Well, it's been argued that it partially starts with maternity leave. It takes time and practice to gain expertise in task. So when mom's are given a leave of absence, but dads are not mom's gained singular expertise during those hundreds of hours with baby. And then that gap never gets closed. The solution paternal leave. Indeed Pew Research survey found that sixty nine percent of Americans believe fathers should receive paid parental leave which would help level the playing field. So if your job offers, parental leave not just maternity leave take full advantage. And if it doesn't do your best to divide up kid tasks evenly from day one. But not what they can't give you. So while fairytale expectations are bound to be disappointing. A study in the journal of personality and social psychology found that marriages stay happy with a magic combination of high expectations and partners ability to reach them. So in the study couples were asked about their expectations of their relationship and next they were asked to come into the lab identify point of conflict in their relationship and work towards a solution. And researchers watched each partner argue and noted when they avoided the topic criticized or faulted, the other shirked responsibility made presumptions or were hostile. So by contrast. Researchers also noted when partner stayed on topic and furthered the resolution now when individuals had high expectations of the relationship and. Their partners could deliver that match of expectations and ability made for a happier relationship, but not everyone can rise to meet expectations when individuals had high expectations, but their partners how lousy communication skills or dirty those same high expectations set the couple up for disappointment. So the take home is expect a lot of your partner. But only what they're capable of. Secret number six is lie to yourself a little. So remember when you first fell in love, and you thought your partner was the greatest the cutest, the smartest keep them on that pedestal at least

And basically I'm the host with the most is it is a panel style. Talk show where I have my panel is a true team, and it consists of a river Martin who is our legal adviser. Dr Judy ho our clinical psychologist Rosie, mccarter who's our motivational life coach and judge scary Mary. And basically we haven't very Maria's. I know. I know a lot of people are loving her. She, she gives it to you straight up. No chaser she's from Detroit. So just so you know she from today, right. Okay. And judge. So you can just imagine when she has people face the truth. It comes out straight. No, chaser anyway, we have guests from all walks of life come on the show and they are having personal issues. And we basically helped him to sort out fact over fiction and held him to live better lives basically. Now I've only seen clips of it, but what I realize I love is the resolution room because it's like you guys are. That's where you're deciphering the truth where, yeah. Well, it isn't always happens. If very honest with you, sometimes the resolution comes very quickly. We don't have to go there, but there are definitely been some cases that have been difficult and we have to kinda like excuse ourselves to go talk to the resolution room is where we go in amongst ourselves, like, what are you thinking? What are you really think it? And we way out like what we should do about this. Now, most of the people that you're helping, is it. Legal problems. It seems like this also lifestyle issues, mainly lifestyle, naming my style, they're from all different walks of lives of some of the stories that have really affected us. The most are parent-child conflicts. Those are hard because you know, right now our young generation nex is having so much pressure on them, and there's always been pressure growing up bullying, stuff like that. But nowadays, with social media and acceptance and body shaming and all of these things that these poor children are being forced with and then went to cut the apron strings. And when is the time do you like you got to go get your own spot now, you know that kind of stuff. I, it's, it's interesting and just parents bumping heads wanting to do the right thing and not giving their kids too much. And then we have flight. Guests that come on the on the show to like, we've got couples where the guy thinks he's just handy dandy man as about to burn a dangle house, so, but we always offer them creative sentencing, which basically..

"Five movies in a row that now you just get another check as a producer and you'd get another credit and another check yes so having yourself a good partner i say built your super squad have your good team that helps you to expand your horizons and maybe see things that you need a team that sees good things for you that's not sucking and just taking from you and then when things you might dry spell then they go yeah exactly do you feel like there's any like wisdom that you could want like i'm part to anyone being like hey if you're going to get into business is like what you need to know the top three things that i learned this is what everyone should know the top three things to know when getting to business according to vivica is to do your research that's the first thing find out if it's going to be profitable are you paying attention to those who are in that business field and find out is there lane that you can fit in have a wonderful saying no you place play position and stay in your lane that definitely applies to business number to be organ is and try to have your own finances because it's good if you have your own finances lined up because you're gonna have a period of starting a business where no chips is coming in so please don't be dependent on your mom and you could and you system there by financial dream don't do that do that and then number three would get out of your own way if there are people that can help you that can help your business to grow and they have success and they wanna come in and help you allow them to come in and help you don't be afraid to ask for some help but if you're wanting to be the head chicken charge it's a sacrifice and also get out of your way it's like applicable to just life in general girls were all like i think we all have little self sabotages and us whether it's like this is something new so i'm going to be like runaway for lang i know like people are expecting this of me so i'm going to try and like sabotage sodas a happen so it's just like it's really sort of refreshing here.
