The MLB, the Atlantic League and Moving the Mound Experiment

"I wrote about moving back in mid march and that was before it was officially announced that the atlantic could be doing that this year. I think that announcement came. I don't know maybe th in the weeks or months after that article came out and this was something that they had talked about doing in twenty nineteen that they were going to implement a two foot move in the mound and the atlantic league at midseason. And that didn't end up happening in the sense that i got when i was working on my piece earlier. This year is that basically. They were worried about players. You know having workman's comp concerns or or having injuries occur and basically that players would not be happy with this change and that there would be a lot of objections and so they didn't end up doing it that year and then they did this year but only half of the distance just a one foot move and even so hit did not go over well so tell us a little bit about what you learned about how players responded to this both when it was announced if they were even aware of it at that time and since it went into effect earlier this month. Yes so it's more than a handful of players. Mostly pitchers are a feel for what it's like to be in this league. Vins experimenting in a way. That in run countermeasure you. Your career aspirations your individual performance and also your health because there's a lot of sixty one foot now and we don't know about regarded to where it goes to your body and your arm health whatnot. And i think it's fair to say that the players are not overly pleased with how the week has shifted when it comes to the sixty one foot mount self. All the pictures basically agree that had been able to adjust and it wasn't a big deal anymore. Now you know. They did mention like similar. Soffer tossing teammates have issues like there are actual effects on each quality men quality. And what have you so. I don't wanna make it sound like there's no difference whatsoever. Just they were overcome those despite some let's say less than i he'll scheduling and logistical aspects to it but what players are really stressed about. Is that yes. The weakest mobis

The Rock Weighs in on Vin Diesel's 'Fast & Furious' Feud Comments

"And the furious. And the feud between dwayne the rock johnson and vin diesel which I guess it enters a new chapter bent house it. Yeah so Chris and i think in a previous episode talked about some recent comments that vin diesel made around the time that if nine came out where menzies profiled in men's health magazine and he talked a little bit about how the beef behind the scenes between him and dwayne johnson was actually like a manipulation on the part of master-strategist vin diesel. Where he was talking about how he would do anything that he'd have to do in order to get performances From people that he worked with on projects that he was producing. So he's sort of like insinuated that all of the the tough love that he was giving was was in order to like coax out the performance that he wanted from johnson. Which at the time. Chris and i were just talking about how i mean. Just absurd on its face. That claim is an interest. How really ridiculous. And like you don't believe the vin diesel is a master chessmen. Were playing three moves ahead. Look i actually appreciate the way that vin diesel has leaned into an and been like very publicly publican open about the way that he loves fantasy storytelling in dungeons dungeons and dragons. And how he looks at the fast and furious franchise as like an extended the campaign basically. I actually think all of that kind of the the ridiculous thought that he puts into all of that stuff. I think is actually is paying off in has paid off very well in those movies but to claim basically to claim ownership over somebody else's performance in the way that he did especially when there's so much simmering tension. There is just a step too far and apparently doing johnson thought so as well. So in a a new profile of dwayne johnson. And emily blunt. That just went up in the hollywood reporter today. They asked dwayne johnson what he thought about those comments from he said. I laughed and i laughed hard. I think everyone had a laugh at that. And i'll leave it at that. And that i've wished them

Do To-Do Lists Actually Help You Get Stuff Done?

"If you're like me you have a zillion things vying for your attention and need to get done and you never seem to keep that list on track. Getting through the end of it will never happen. I guess you know that but it's not getting to the end of it or getting to that list. I'm worried about all i want to do is to ensure that i can plan prioritize and get stuff done on the time line. I establish many times. That's a lofty task. Given there so many things that needed to get done yesterday beamed they're experienced that. Well i believe a lot of share the same conundrum however it is much easier done than said for. Why did you inculcate a little bit of discipline and do away with your perfectionist mindset. "We might have an answer brad. Bennett josh horowitz. Whose reporter for mtv news recently talked to vin diesel in support of the upcoming release of f nine. And because he's big. James cameron fan. He had to ask vin diesel. Whether or not these rumors about him. Potentially being in the avatar sequels were actually true and vin diesel. Despite being an actor is by the way. I just. I just feel as right now. Vin diesel only wants to work with directors than earning james james. Gone james won-. Yeah james cameron. That's true and then we'll just ignore all the other movies that weren't directed by anybody named james just so that we can guess narrative. Well that's his new direction in life. He's found that like great. Success comes when you work with directors names james. We could expand just do director whose name start with j. justin lin. John m not johnnym. Choose what am i thinking of. Never mind okay. I'm sorry. I totally interrupted you. Brad tell us what. yeah so. Vin diesel isn't a good liar even though he's an actor because when he was asked about this he got this giddy childhood grin on his face. That you're like it was clear he couldn't hide anything whatsoever about the question. And so Vin diesel when he was asked if about the rumors. He said that he has spent time with james cameron but he hasn't filmed anything yet And of course yet was the operative word in that sentence. Which josh horwitz Totally honed in on instead. So does that mean. He's going to be shooting something within soon And diesel still smiling and grinning gubert. He said i love. James cameron and i love the series. And i think it's safe to say that we will be working together and he stopped just short of saying on avatar or whatever but if you go watch the video that we have the article you'll see that there's just there's no containing that this is a truth true thing that's happening. I just assumed when he posted this photo way back when that he was on sale. I mean obviously co star from the fast and furious movies. michelle rodriguez. She was in the first avatar movie. Right so i i just assume that was visiting this ad just as like you know just as a visitor but now it appears that maybe he has a role in the avatar sequels. But aren't they done filming avatar sequels. So they're done live action production for avatar to avatar three but as we know there are still plans to do avatar for avatar five. So it's probably safe to assume that he won't be involved in those first two movies and whatever character he's playing will likely be part of those second two movies one or one or the other. Okay now the question comes brad. Do you think he is going to play a a human character. I could totally see him as being one of those like marine kind of characters. But that seems like to obvious to like to pat for a casting for this movie or do you think he's going to be like an actual nov ear. Something i could see him potentially playing a member of the navy. I could also see the possibility of maybe introduce a new alien.

"Power here and today we are one day out from tesla's plaid model delivery event in the absence of a lot of other news. I thought today we could do what we did. Back during battery day where we kind of did a series of twitter polls to set consensus expectations ahead of the event. So we're going to go through that. We just have a couple other items of news here. I So we'll go through those pretty quickly. I up with the stock tesla today. Finishing down on pretty low volume Eight tenths of a percent to five hundred and ninety eight dollars eight cents that compared to the nasdaq up half a percent but pretty quiet day as again i think people were kind of waiting for The event tomorrow aside from that religious a couple pieces of news here so the first one here the born company. Just kind of a congratulations to them. They opened up To the public at the world of concrete event there at the las vegas convention center so an exciting milestone for them. These vehicles are still being driven by people Hopefully later this year that shifts over to being autonomous at higher speeds but definitely good milestone for the boring company there in vegas. I think he had to buy a ticket to the world. Concrete event us. I guess not technically quite public yet but is being experienced by members of the public. And obviously it's a great opportunity for tesla to show off their vehicle vehicles. Get a lot of people test drives and things like that. So it's going to be exciting to you if all that and see where that goes from there the other thing that we've got here just ahead of the event We do now have customers that are starting to receive their vehicle vehicle identification numbers or vins for the model s. so this was shared on the tecimer's club forums by one of the members there on they have there been assignment and their purchase agreement so unexciting milestone again ahead of the event tomorrow

Lawmakers Continue Police Reform Negotiations

"May of last year, lawmakers in every state and the District of Columbia have introduced more than 3000 police reform bills. The National Conference of State Legislatures reports. That's double the number introduced in 2017. Theo U. S Department of Justice is investigating the Minneapolis police and other departments. And brought civil rights charges against Derrick Show. Vin and the other former officers involved in George Floyd's burger Cities and school districts have responded to Minneapolis public schools, joined districts across the country and cutting ties with police. And Minneapolis City Council members made headlines when they promised to defund the police. That's provocative shorthand for rerouting public safety dollars to social services that can reduce crime. And it's also something we have really heard from the general public. I asked my colleague, Minnesota public radio reporter Brandt Williams when he knew something was different. Well, I guess Anjo like many people, when I first saw that bystander video Usually there is a situation between a police officer and somebody there's a officer makes a split second decision where they fire a weapon. It's over in a second, but this happened Over nine minutes. We heard George Floyd pleading for his life, and we saw the reaction of the officer Derrick Show Vin, just not changing his expression, and he kept the pressure on. So I think that's when I knew as a boy, You know, it's gonna be really hard for this just to be pushed under the rug or just kind of forgotten about. During the next news cycle. And Brant the response from city officials that was swift as as well different than than what we've seen in the past, starting with the quick firing of officer direct Children. Right that that was different. I mean, usually there's got to be an investigation or there has to be due diligence done here before we make any disciplinary decisions. But this was the next day chief Mid Air. Arredondo came right out and said that this officer is no longer A member of the Minneapolis Police Department, and he fired the other three officers involved as well.

When you're that limited in what you do and I think this is the big question. Vincent has fifties. Venice the same age as Paul Giamati. which is a thing I like to say, that's crazy. They were born a month apart. You need to stop saying it's making me. I will never stop saying it on. Never stop saying physically confused. Van Book at me on drama thoughts cleaner. But I think that the whispers are the he's done with fast and furious after ten right nine coming out this year, he'll do one more. He wants to put a cap on right. He's got bloodshot. I hope they make blood shots. I hope we're living in a bloodshot future. Yeah, triple X. bought back the rights homemakers, many riddick's as he can, but I also think there's a point where he's going to stop doing action movies or the tenor of his action. Movies are going to change. They're going to become old man action movie. Yeah, unless I mean, but the physique. I'm thinking about Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise is a different yeah. I think Tom Cruise. Can Be old man action in a different way than like anyone else. Yeah, when he sold his body to science. I awards but the question is when that goes away. What has been do Vince got a background. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. He's got a base of actual fucking skill whereas the rock great, so I'm like dude already done a Sidney lumet movie. He's directives on Indie things. You gotTa Short Con. He's got stuff he can go back to I wanNA, believe, and as frustrating as it is to see something like Vin given himself to Ingley for Billy Linen that not working I know I think a lot about the tragedy of billy I all the time. We could be here for another hour. But he made the move and he showed up. He did the fucking work. Yeah didn't pan out. It didn't work in anyone's favor for lines out of the control, but it means yeah directors recognized. He's willing to. Do it again. Do it again did against the because I saw this line. Is there I? saw this line where someone was talking about breaking down the calamity that is Robert Downey junior doolittle and they said my major question isn't is Robert Downey junior at that point where he is just on direct now was. That much time in Marvel's the guy and you just go. Certain actors get to a point where they become on directory. Sherlock was the red flag it was. It was Shirley ten years past that, so you're like. Is it possible for someone to pull old downey junior out of him I? Don't know, but I have no doubt that someone could pull it out of him. Is he going to get the right? Part is going to get the right projects is going to work with the right people who knows but it. He has it in him and I think because he has that sensitive or spirit because he's such a Dork. Because he does things like the fucking last witch hunter, which is literally him going into Lionsgate and going. I've been doing this. One Dungeons and dragons campaign for over thirty years. It rips. Can you give me twenty million dollars to make a movie? I I think he has a as good a chance to remain icon as any action star. who very often tend to be very of the moment. But just such as the burden, and we've counted him out before. We've count his franchise out before, and he came back. He's come back many times. So what I'm going to say, yes, and Griffin's no. I don't. Think, he's done two more years tops. Okay, and now. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, well. The yeses have it then diesel and I got. Now, before we go before we say goodbye, we're GONNA. Play a quick little game. Okay, where we. Room, we have in that car me ride into the sunset. This is my favorite now. Griffin I'm going to give you a choice because you are a president who actually listens to this? And, yes, and I think it would be a disservice to you to not let you play this game. Wow, you WANNA play you. WanNa. Play I would love to play, and we let Andrew Judge E orange want or Do. You want me to judge what I won. The last one so I think I should. Get to judge. We are sorry. we will be.

"Maybe. He needs some pushback whereas Vin for sure, who do it all himself, but he's going no I see the value of bringing in into Justin Lin I. See the value of collaborators of Co Stars. You know went when my red. When the Rock is, a movie can be married. You're supporting. CAST mostly exists for the rock to dunk on yet for him to talk about how low their testosterone is. Perfect Chris VIN LOVES TO GIVE STAGE HE loves his share that fucking spotlight give other people here a moments, the mass supporting cast members who have popped in fast and furious. Gal Gadot. That's been discovery. I'm just GONNA. Let sit. Am I saying Vince responsible for wonder woman kind of yes, you literally are deliberately because I think of her breakout movie had been a rock vehicle as she wouldn't have been in three sequels and be. She wouldn't have gotten that much space to actually show what she could do here's my thing is a dot or good though. I think it's Gal Gadot I think there's some like weird Israeli way of thinking. I said it earlier when I get over there, we. Have, we're done. We're done I used to think it was good though I think it's good. Oh, yeah, that's sounds very French I, know. I'm aboard. Yeah, but that's that's my big thing. Is I think Vin has this amazing balance of incredible, almost psychological or What's the word? I'm looking for PSYCHOTIC confidence? Very? Word that special word with a weird sense of self awareness, and that he's at the end of the day. He's bowing. To the Gods of story you know. That's what's making this shit. Connect with people down. To a degree. Fast and furious is the first real modern franchise in everyone's following in their wake. You know he's the guy who starts to make a feel like an infinite ongoing saga. Yeah, four. Marvel's really clicking that right and he's also. We've in that out of nothing. Going on. Or at Ya, but die hard just starts become like Oh this same guy in the same position again every. Fresh with rights. He's building this fuck fucking in tapestry people we've in an now memories being lost and found I feel like. If we did play over, affect marine kill, you would just be fucking in marrying everything about correct great, and that sort of the game on that one what I will say is. It's time to make our verde. Okay It's Judgment Day. I'm. Piping, hot on the Horn of this up, Jari. It's raptured time. It's time for the judgment. Sorry you got left behind your clothes evaporated on earth, and now you're naked in line in heaven might close what I'm I'm. My Body's in heaven yet. Your naked. Rising from the close, but it's, but it's also heaven rules, so there's no shame, so you don't really realize your ticket but I. I, do okay, but I do you can see me naked and is looking at everybody naked. Are you saying us. That's. Only arrival. Harassing Andrew I'm telling Andrew the truth. That's what's happening. You're welcome and. I'll do think vin. Diesel is an icon. FOCUSING ON EVERYBODY BE NAKED I have clothes on and he and anyways you know what? It's tricky. It's tricky with Vin because the also part of the question of an icon is, will he endure of course, and will he be able to we'll this myth be shared? By everyone, especially once the franchises, and that's the that's the question and. I would love for the answer to be especially as I'm hearing this case. Out of okay. Cases it really is. But sometimes it's not about. It's not about the case. Sometimes it's about the the the wrongs of society, and I feel like we live in a time where people don't see it as people do. See The Rock, and maybe it's a stall if you're getting. I'm tearing, but go. I'M GONNA. Let you say what you have to say. It might not be what I want. It might not be what's right. But history. Belongs to the Victor Bam. And, right now. I think this also is unfortunate. Reflection of what's happening politically in the country note Aida. Maybe we're not ready. Maybe we'd like to think our country is better than what it is but that. We live in a country of rocks..

"This is just a way to get in the Marvel Universe first of all he goes on facebook and he goes man the marvel people won't stop calling me. They want me to be in one of these movies so badly like it say Kevin. Feige goes. That's not true. I'm happy to meet with him. He Goes I. Don't know if he's calling nonstop. I don't have time in my schedule I'm going to try to work something out fight. He goes okay if he wants to meet with him. He just does not all negotiating publicly. And the same thing happened with the rob right and he was posting photos of like different marvel characters. I don't know their suggested. What are you folks think? Do you think I should play this role in Kevin fog? You look. We had nothing. He was right for I, said you probably don't WanNa play group, because it's one line, but if you want to your voice, a good match and he was like I gotta give it up for foggy, trying so hard to make something work. He does groups and he does grooten every fucking language. Now. It's only three words, but he does those three words in every, and these movies go to every single country. He's the only actor to do that. He does grooten every single country, and there's a video of him recording the first gardens the galaxy where he walks into the studio wearing stilts, because he felt like he could not do the video without being in the heads of it would be like. Like to be a tree. I think that's fair Sunglasses v Neck t shirt indoors with stilts. They had to raise the Mike. Some PA had to raise the Mike all the way the ceiling get this two thousand twenty, and you're still in the V-NECK. He does only always Nour's. He does his sweet groups. He's doing them all and he's getting into it. He doesn't. He hits his Gruden Rita's. Yes, okay. He hits at all. He hits it all I question. Does he when he doesn't in different languages? Does he also do all the different intonations crow? He's like he really each of them separate and he's leash dialect jolts. Yeah, coaches, yes. Every, single one and each line. He has his acting coach. Come through and go. What is the emotional intent of this I am Grooten and he has to apply that to the different languages he's he's a real artist and I think because he loves being a star, and he loves being in franchises people. Think Oh. That's a guy who's just kind of charismatic to. To Watch but doesn't really know what he's doing now. Okay, so speaking of facebook. Yes, I have a little people's Court frazee. Bang Bang Bang on the gap, k.? We're hearing the People's Court so let's say you know. The year is twenty ten. Okay, we're talking. People were talking in article that is presented to me as sexiest man alive on Facebook Okay So. In for people's hottest facebook phenom. It from the bottom up or so we can kind of see what the deal is with two percent. We have Isaiah Mustafa the old spice guy and Two Percent Chad Ocho Cinco. It's two thousand ten twelve percent. Enrica eglesias. Okay, it's two thousand ten. He eight hold twenty percent Dj, Pauly D.. Okay. And coming in hot, hot hot with fifty six percent of the facebook vote for the sexiest man is on. FACEBOOK is one Mr. Mark Sinclair. Maybe, they should call it Vin book. Maybe they should call it the. Whole advantage. He did give comet. He said quote. This must have been written out. Says quote. I M blushing dot, dot dot, four real dot girl. G. R. Exclamation Point. Grunt. That's sounds clear to me. And you can hear it. He was prepping he's. Also a writer. You know what I'm saying. Science dot the value the written word. He wants to make that singing in your ears. Commander Line to make it saying okay. He loves to sign I would like to hear one final push on the stallone. Schwartzenegger thing. Yeah, yeah, and then we will share our verdict, so the thing is the Sloan was always kind of not tour right? Rocky was his baby. He burst into the universe. That's the model that Venice. Following of no one wants to ask me. Everyone tells me I. Don't Look Right I. Don't sound right. I'm going to find my space. And he's going between franchises, and he's fighting the sense of like his ego him, wanting to be the biggest the highest paid, but also wanting to have this sort of credibility integrity. But it's I think Vin is so much more intimate and controlled in terms of what he's doing and is so much about his collaborators. I think a difference with stallone. dhillon starts to be like movies just about Salone, and yeah, no one else exists. Yeah, and then when he comes back into a triple X. for returns, enter cage. He goes. Give me a crew. This is an ensemble now. That's the theater I think it's like you. Shine, when everyone around. that. He knows it makes you look better to work with good people. The Rock Are you listening? He brings people. He made the rock. The Rock was in Disneyland until at the Vin gave him fast and furious and rock likes to say yeah. I feel proud that I made fast and furious into this fucking thing but no. It's. That's yeah, and here's the big difference. The Rock is Schwarzenegger where he doesn't have the vision right. He's just an incredible sort of like. He's a sheen. Yes, he's A. Republican. He's A. He's a piece of equipment. But Schwarzenegger was smart enough to know that he didn't have story since didn't have a song in his heart well that he didn't have a poet's spirit, and so he worked with good fucking directors. He handed himself over to your James Cameron's and said use me. I am your clay. Your John mcteer names right. Mold me in the shape that you desire whereas the Rocco's for your will. Here's my book. The rules on the things that can not happen in Iraq movie ever in the things that must always happen and also pause movies directed by like fucking former visual effects supervisor like he's hiring people who he knows he can control..

"The Rock is left there for dead in the middle of the street. The rest of squad gunned down around him. Vin Diesel reaches out with his hand and picks him up and forms the bond. And I I yelled out fast motherfucking five. And the entire audience applauded, and it was one of the just the I was gonna say one of the greatest moments I've ever had luther, but honestly probably one of the greatest moments ever had my entire life a few times. I've ever felt more content of just. This feels completely right. Everything in my life feels completely right at this moment and I'm going I've liked the rock for what he does, but this movie feels like. Like. He's figured out his perfect form him in that movie where he's like this weird Super Macho. Asshole kind of like a parody of himself kind of thing because Ben I. Think at this point has also started to transform and has turned dominance hereto has and I care into sort of this mythical figure. Yes, you know gone is sort of the Brando now it's like. Yeah, he he's. He's a movie star. He's a movement. Admit is like a VIN diesel perform. Yes, hold ratings. Yes, yes, yes, only then do insisting where it's like a Vin. Diesel close up comes the greatest special effect in Hollywood. There's something about that guy behind the wheel of a car, just grimacing and glaring at something that is so valuable. Well, you know, and just his grunts, and the the well during. The grumpy comes huge in a following years as groot as group, the group as the group like come on I'm sorry, but are you kidding me and there you go? He's planted another franchise. Because here's the thing and yeah, you do planted I'll. Pull intended, because then is constantly start new franchises, but he also doesn't forget about where he came from. Because Vin also well, that's growing. To Do? To Triple X. Again I mean he leaves none of them behind I, also okay, here's here's a thought I. Just had how. Invested is he in like the culture of his franchises? And how much does he love being like the richest motherfucker alive well I'll say this. I think they've now all become very personal for him. Yeah, I think rid was the one that he was invested in the culture. It always bummed him out that it didn't mean as much other people. Is that the him? When they asked him because he's in the cameo at the very end of Tokyo, drift, which sets him coming back and four and universal. Ask them to do that and we're going to pay him like you know one hundred fifty thousand dollars, or whatever to do one shot, and he said I'll do it for no money if you give me the rights to Riddick. That was his move. He was like I. Know You don't WanNa. Make another riddick movie. I will put in the work to make this somewhere else. I'll do the cameo for free if you give me rid. He's literally a door and they heed him in Riddick. And he went. Revitalize the. Ranch size made it the biggest fucking thing, and then came back to universal fucking four years later and sold them another riddick movie. I mean he's a businessman on only. When he wanted only riddick when he pitched chronicles of Riddick's. He walked into the universe office I just collective in stories like. He walked into the universal office with three giant. Neatly detailed leather bound books that all had like brass loss. Yeah! And he said this is the first of the trilogy. The chronicles of Riddick and he handed them the book, and he handed them the key and they went well. What about the author to you? Don't get to read them until you green light them. Of Mentally ill. But I mean by all accounts. Those books have never been opened. They were never green lit. The third riddick film is not that film. It's a very cheaper at. The key at this point. The universal executives never never put up the money holy show. But I think he came back to fast and furious. And then you know after four hit so hard I mean. He was more involved in for. He makes a short film. That's on DVD for four. That explains where his character had been for the last two movies he directs. and then when that's so big, they kind of give him carte blanche. His Franch. Do we think he's GonNa like direct a feature again. Do we think constantly threatening? He's sort of toyed around with doing the last couple of fast and furious movies when Justin Lin stepped away his. Maybe I'M GONNA. Do this medium getting do because he's very communicative on facebook and instagram and shares every single. Right so he goes like I. Don't know what do you people think something in the universe is telling me I should direct seven, I should direct. He kept on sort of like teasing direct one. He also really wants to direct and star in a film about Hannibal the conqueror. which he's been trying to get off the ground fifty. Maybe it's not you. You know maybe. He is a man of the franchise, though because he's GonNa, be in this movie bloodshot Oh. Yeah, and then he's also going to be in. You know this the second and third installments of the avatar universe. As. We. Know Okay. We don't know nothing I won't tell us their video of him and James Cameron. Out Close in the green screen volume, okay, here's planting about other changing the game, but no details no! Question. Does if he lets save in is a avi of. do we think he would be like the Sam Worthington where it's just like that's just blew or would he be like sigourney weaver way like? I think you can't. You, you gotta give the audience. Then I think it's the. Rule where it's just like Sigourney so iconic. She has to look like cigar. Yeah, you change the anatomy of the Novi give her a sigourney knows and I think the same thing applies with vin diesel. You gotta give them. Vineyards gotTA. Give them at Vin. CRANIUM head had. Type of the head. You GotTa talk about that. Does. ONIC thanked. You remember the Michael Jordan Cologne. Do you remember this. Peak Michael Jordan. He had his own Cologne and the bottle of the Cologne. No. He was a gambler. No. Need of that kind. Of Make educated decisions. He went to the fragrance. Make a meal. Man who sweats professionally will make a set. That's where you're so fucking famous though you're GONNA say I don't know. Guy I'm like my God. You got it. You gotta you gotTa. Ours and like Gulf, graph Olivia. Can you please Google Michael? Jordan Cologne because I want to get this photo. The label for the Cologne was the silhouette of his head. That's another iconic head, and it was that thing of just like this guy so iconic that just his shaved head, his ears and his neck. You immediately naked head his. Head and I used to think well. No one will ever have a head that iconic, but I think the entry. It's. Arguably the second most iconic head in his. I mean hitchcock also iconic, which also like that's who you're. That's who you're with in terms of for ED economy. Jordan. Diesel that's also hitchcock was in profile that right like head on knows you're. Saying okay, here's. About head. Has, an, iconic had. The. Here is yeah years, but hedge to have all. connick neck. I think he's got some good length I. People don't talk about him. Having a near Laura dern neck. and. People don't talk about Laura. DERN, that really? Oh! Laura dern takes off her jacket and marriage story. I'm like there's on neck collarbone. I'm all about that now. About talking about two different things do a pulse. Okay, we kind of have to wrap up soon. Okay, okay, okay, so so here's. Tied together some things. As much as he is a franchise guy. Part of that is he's a savvy businessman. He's no Michael Jordan. He's not making mistakes. He's not having to make compromises. He's not having to get quick. Quick fixes the cash, okay. He's a guy who's finding franchises because he knows that's the landscape you'll have. Family members threatened because of how much debt he's in. He's not having to play Minor League Baseball for a year and a half. Let some fucking Guber. Vince doing movies okay and every time he comes back to franchise every time he starts a new franchise..

"So some. Universal Universal backlot. Does go and the guy over the intercom. SAY LIKE SURP- sir. You're not gonNA want yeah and. They just thought it was a show. Yeah, that's too bad too bad. Okay so I, see the first fast and furious movie. Yes, I go. You know not necessarily my cup tea, then pretty undeniable. That Guy's movie star the next year. Drag my father. See Triple X.. He's like I hate this. That's the worst movie I've ever seen and you say I'm like I. You know not I don't love it, but I like vin diesel i. like something about Vin Diesel, but this is a big moment were vin diesel starts to franchises and abandoned both of. Very like fast and furious off to the races, and he's like I'm good. I'm done greener pastures. Got What I want it and then jumps on triple X.. Everyone's a great new franchise. This is your one. He's like absolutely not I'm Outta here. Smell you later, so this is sort of the wilderness period where he's doing like he was all in on chronicles of Riddick. Yeah, which I didn't see at the time because it just felt like. I felt like a very odd choice to have two franchises. The public told you they wanted to see continue, but there's also something to the excess of the early two thousand s that like very that I. Get yes, and it also foes lot of French, also like you know feels like the formula. The work you know I want a franchise. I got to come bright, and that's also. It's kind of the CELONA log where it's like. Oh, he's like Rambo and he's is rocky and he's going back and forth between the two. WHOLE TIME! He's like triple X. Fast and furious. My Skin isn't in the game. These aren't personal for me. Riddick I feel some ownership of and now that I'm a star. I'm going to bring riddick back and do it on a bigger scale and his whole thing because he's like this big fantasy nerd Vin diesels and playing the Sony fucked. Dragon. Since, he was thirteen, he was like pitch black. That's the hobbit now get ready for my Lord of the Rings. These are the chronicles of Riddick motherfuckers, so he goes all in. They give them all the money. Saying director huge like Faulk, an some are opening date and it just it just goes nowhere goes nowhere bombs in. And then it's like what does he do after this does the pacifier? Okay so see so. Here's where we have. Thank you sure. Where we come in. As people, who? When does the pacifier come out? Two thousand, five or six. We were I think it's five ten. On. Over. Into, the theater I've seen that movie perhaps five times in my life. Sleepovers. Over me, do the Peter Pan To dance that in my brain. That movie is really like lodged in there for people I think like our A. Where indies? It's unlike wait a minute. This guy's got something yeah. I think he is fun in that movie and I will say than the Rott- copied because. So here's who various fair game. But let's. How John Lee doing a similar? Where it's like Oh, a big strong man will next to a little girl. That'll be funny right and it's like I. Don't know now. We have to acknowledge the model they're working off of. Is Kindergarten cop? Yes, the first like Oh you take tough action guy. You put him with kids in a comedy. You everything seen and half. That's like you know the following right. You know what is competent. It's Burt Reynolds movie. Kid I have a little black. It is he's. He's got an Alex and I got an Alex Jay and I will say. He's not very good at it. Bert Bert the kids to start. Kids an absolute star Colin half not great the Kid I'm like we need. Where's the kids like this? Tremblay is dead. COMEDIC, timing that? Trump like. Didn't you like glad good boys I just know my I mean molly. Molly. And everyone I know who seemed good boys like I left. It's it's gives you a laugh or two because you laugh, but that kid who's in golfing half. Probably. Don't know higher. Yeah, and unfortunately he stopped acting now. He's a rapper. Is this true? Look them up. Yeah, I like him. Hoped did well, but I knew that he didn't. I once thought I had come up with a perfect pitch for a broad studio comedy was so excited and started writing, and then realized it was cop and a half. It's I thought I had independently come up with well. They did a reboot of cop and a half. With Lou.

"He's goodness. He's getting. It but I'm saying the time the. Place to place. I mostly only recommended as a vin diesel. Because it's that early character actor Vin state. That's what's interesting. Yes, he did kind of start out as a character. Do you know how he got his break? Multiracial? Yes, multi facial a short that he created himself about being. Confused about his ethnicity, a lot of. People not knowing how to cast. You think he has a white man of color. White Man of a man of color. He's just a man of. He just doesn't know who his dad is, but he knows that like these black black bright, and not any, and he had a black stepfather growing up like that's how I thought yeah, yes, he grew up in a very mixed family with the stepfather and a half sister. He has a biological twin brother. He didn't know his father His stepfather was a future professor. And so he was sort of like a Jason to the theater scene, but he has like that's not what I'm about. I'm about break, dancing and graffiti. And the story that he presents is that he and some friends broke into. A space to try to vandalize. It threw up some tags and it turned out. It was a theater. Thank God and rather thank God getting angry reporting on these street toughs. The owner of the. Why don't you come acting? Wow, extended the hand and then got the bug. This is the magic of the. Leader is that's magic to do you know against Pippen, so? He's like a theater guy. He's auditioning all the time, but no one knows where to place him what he is. What type he is doesn't really exist, so he makes multi facial, which is his short film about not knowing how to get cast I voice TV. Spielberg says a minute sees the film Akon Vin goes to con-. Imagining Young Vignette Con. It is maybe the greatest thing like does he speak French like it? Does he try? Yeah I'll be at the best trip of his life absolute. I'm sure he did because the result was still booby. Do BOOB BE? Wait. Sorry. Hold on, hold on. Hold on your. Hollywood, we gotta put pause on saving pr because that he's got to rewrite the script. Put Vin de open up a space we got. We got to make space for vent yeah. But the other thing that's happening around this time he he makes a feature film called strays. That is okay. It is very much post multi facial, which is such of just like her Shnell like the primal scream strays is very much. A strategic makes the rights Iraq. And it's very much a strategic I want to show people the way I'm a movie star. Yay As opposed to the very personal expression. Thing it's it's fine. It's fine. He makes that. He has a serious I mean at this time like the years the wilderness he's working as a bouncer. One of my favorite videos on Youtube because I'm a real connoisseur videos is he worked at the New York toy fair where they would have struggling actors do the showcases of the toy products to buyers from big box stores, and there's a video of VIN diesel in a leather vest, a demonstrating that years line of street sharks action figures well which for listeners who might remember street sharks. It was the Post Ninja Turtles. What if sharks were tough and roam the streets? Walk they walk legs and the really big bright. Skinny legs big upper bodies. Scars Ideal Man. They're kind of Proto VIN diesel. Took a look at that body. I've got some thoughts riff on this body like twenty-five VIN diesel with one earring in a leather vest, really hot to me smashing these action figures together, and at one point he refers to a character as a round mountain to pound. Thank you, which is on Mount Her Hound. Take that theater cloud. That's play I'm just establishing some footnotes for example extended, you know. After the episode second screen experience, pull up some of these. This is good. Okay, so he makes strays. He gets them private. Ryan he does giants right I enjoy. It happens and all this stuff sitting around the same time boiler room. He gets cast a play one of the henchman I, think for. Gary sinise. Reindeer. Games clough. Torres Lee bad. Like everyone involved with disowned. And John Frankenheimer director says so in this scene I. Want you to have your shirt off. You come in. You're like intimidated Ben. Affleck and Vin diesel says no I'm not GONNA do that. and He John Frankenheimer said what do you mean and Vin diesel said? and. I found this out years later and I think I was converted onto at this point, but if there was a moment where it was just clear, I was GonNa ride or die for this guy? This is the story. Vince says John Frankenheimer I only take my shirt off for Vin. Diesel Movies Holy Shit Right. God and that's incredible so good and he says what the fuck are you talking about? Like call your shot. It was just like the point eight. That's crazy right and he's notorious. The Guy has kick started his career after years of being unhittable being supporting actor after making a short film about how no one knew how to cast him, and now he's saying none enough I. Know I'm a movie star I. Normally, man, I'm saving something Special I. God I only take my shirt offer vin diesel movies and he's like you either. Take your shirt off, or you're fired. VIN diesel gets fired from reindeer game. Wow, and then you know hitch black. Of these? Movie. That's what he meant. Hagans takes his shirt off. Like happens within two months. He said buy. Bitch Riddick Yeah see you later Toronto me. So, then fasten I two thousand one right and it really. Off to the races. This is when he starts to get on my radar because my brother and I are both going off to sleep away camp. My mom drops off. The movie theater says you can see one movie together. You have to decide what it is and I'm going hard for Dr Doolittle two. And my brother James He really wants to see fast and furious. Dome Boy Shit cars. I don't want to see this. Just want to chuckle. I want to check in with the Doctor A. You to make an appointment my yearly checkup. Okay. But I sit there and I watched this movie. He wins the argument. My brothers very persuasive. And at the end the movie I go. This. Movie starts. Can I say something that shows me that nothing's more important than familiar. I'm just what I I mean I wouldn't even. Her brother had a nice Rona. Yes. No eleven and thirteen. Legal most. At fast and furious children's. Corona sure. But. Fast and I I am furious. Is Universal was all in on Paul Walker and they were like we want to develop a vehicle around. You can be anything you want. And he finds this article about l., A. Street racing, and then like, but I don't feel confident being the guy in a movie I'd only want to make this happen if it's a two hander, so they go. Oh Great! We know exactly what to do. It's you and it's so clear who the other movie star is! It's Timothy Elephant..

"It's one or the other. The other one knows, and neither does he. He's trying to figure. That's the power baby. Gory on so high. I loved. Molly is like has been stone for thirty years. One also him being on this awards run winning all these awards going all these press rooms. You realize how infrequently he does on camera interviews. So. We're not usually see him. Talk for a couple of minutes. And then you let them loose on an award stage in oppressed by. unstructured the most charming man why he is what he's. Yeah? But, but we also acknowledge that he has an incredibly talented from afraid you must. People don't like to talk about performance says so again. You have to give him the words. Industry the performer. No one thinks about the people who are readiness, do you do you know? Do you know what are you? Do you know what the Coen brothers looked like? Yes, well, some people don't. That's I mean of course I. You know I know. Some people don't know that they look you know like like that. which also visit totally the same? No people might think. Oh, brothers, they look the same. No one is bold. And that's the shocking. All balden short one is tall there and they sort of have. The. Coloration yes, interesting, one of them has dark, longer hair, and the other one is balding with a beard and has reddish hair. Yeah. Can I say it makes you wonder if they're brothers well. Do We know I? Don't think it's off top of head. I know which one tall is in which one short is talent worth even short as tall as Joel Right. Is Francis. Joel and Ethan is. His Beard Hey. Hey, what I think. He has a lovely wife. I sat behind them at the film forum once. What were you seeing you said? Forms of the film. On them, I sat behind. Colin at Film Forum. Hundred it was it was. It was now trying to remember I. WanNa say was a Preston sturges movie. It was a screwball comedy. Says Lord he's been married to him TRICIA Cooke since one thousand nine Tricia. Just like no I love. Why won't? Senator, she's an editor. FESCUE okay. Have you seen hells pop in. No, you should see that okay it was. Did you just see it phone forms that were thinking of it? Okay, it's actually on Youtube really yeah. You should see hells poppin. Okay, should. Get into. Well we've been Gavin Yeah we've been gavin straight. We've been popping. Even we've been popping off was each other, but we need to pop off on one man. I. Okay, let's not this up because we reach out to griffin awhile ago Griffin. Who would you want to do well? I believe I I WANNA say yeah. Isolating the just go, we reach out. I've been listening to this show. I love it. I just want to extend I said wow. And then you're like I would do this person if I was on. Yeah, just throw out into the atmosphere I'm always ready to talk about them. And then you send us a very important video. A we should say Vin. Diesel indies the talk about today. Is Mark Vincent's Sinclair Birth. Name Yes The. Lord knows him as When he gets up to those pearly gates when he gets to Saint Peter's and the squirrel US Open. He'll say Vin then. Many Guy, you'll save an easel himself, my guy. I guess he he is my favorite. Movie Star. Okay, interesting that you say movie star not. Yes think there is a delineation. Yes, and I do think Vin diesels. A good actor and there are actors who I would rank higher as my favourite living actors who I also think are good movie stars I. Don't think the things are mutually exclusive. Sometimes they are, but I think you're Brad Pitt. Your term cruises complicated math. Complicated, but those guys you're talking about who kind of secretly are sort of character actors. Yes, maybe a little Tommy Thomas Bradley. No, he's a he's A. He's a character and certainly William. Willie likes to play a character likes to. A little hitch is full method. Math I didn't realize that was the fifth time I watched. That movie I didn't recognize the Pierre's disappears. You know what's crazy I. assumed it was prosthetics I said this must be like a a Rick Baker. Thing and then I found out. It's like Bradley. Cooper and the elephant man. He just did visit Godley. Yeah, but you don't recognize him in that movie but then I think is a perfect example of what a movie star is with the power of being a movie star is both in terms of what he does and movies, and what he does surrounding his movie. You're telling the Rock to take notes. I mean I'm going to go off on the Rock in this episode because I think the only way you can explain what is important and special and valuable and dare I say brilliant about Vin diesel is to throw some shade on the Rock. I think you have to, and it's not just because of the feud. Also we're GONNA. Have to talk about because obviously, I was obsessed with. Has Gone Back. It like you came out, and it was like okay, we'll singer t this, not just that they have this history, not just that they have this feud, but also i. do think they are opposite sides of the same point. And a thesis I'm going to present here. Will loop back around to it later is that I think for our generation? The analog is that VIN diesel is stallone and the Rock is Schwarzenegger. Whereas I think okay been diesel has improved upon the stallone formula and The rock has missed a very key come out of the Schwarzenegger formula, so they're not even at the same level. Yes, I am out of work and I'm GonNa Talk Shit about the most bankable fucking movie star in Hollywood is the positive do. This is the positive. Okay okay, so we have so much to talk about Let's start with. When did you realize was guy? It took a while. I mean truly because I remember my first exposure vin diesel was the iron giant. A classic a Big Tuna. billion. Perfect film creep performance. People don't talk about that as a performance that off He was pretty much on known actor. I I'll say veal is hard. Yeah, veal is really is. Is Iron giant before or after Private Ryan? It's after Private Ryan Right. It is the following year. It's ninety nine private Ryan's ninety eight. Yes, and pitch black is earlier in ninety nine. That's that initial run where he's starting to pop. Pop Off, but I was such animation kid in such a like behind the scenes, kid that I was watching all the like behind the scenes making of stuff, so I was seeing this guy in this booth and video booth, wearing sunglasses, whose name is vin diesel and sounds like that? Yes, and I just went like palm. Okay, remember that for later. This dixon my mind flash forward two years. Two thousand one. Don't see prime when I come theaters. Okay, so that doesn't make the impression on me. Don't see boiler room when it first comes out in.

You know whatever comes across my ear and I hear the next thing and I'm probably the most trendy is listener outbid there yet because I think I'm paying more attention to just our ecosystem and what we're doing. I think Cagey is more of the music guy. He listens to all new albums to come out and everything. So that's sort of his lang. I like the you know. Pay More attention to what's happening in business trends and how the industry is adapting to this like. I just shoot off a bunch of articles from the ask Cap News. Do a eleven minute concert this. I have no idea what you're talking all my goodness you are so old okay. Chavez Scott Grammy Award. Winning rapper went on fortnight or he key collaborated with fortnight and they created a mini show of current hits and new releases and so as people are playing the game. They could attend as their Avatar. Attend this concert within the game and There were twelve million people that watched it live and then if you add in all of the people that have subsequently watched it recordings on Youtube. I'm curious if this is in some way part of the future of of Contra going of of of music in some way shape or form. I think they're still be live shows that we will attend in person but similar to. I think it was last year. Abbas was doing a three tour a Hologram tour or something. "Welcome to no budget the show for filmmakers with no budget by filmmakers with no budgets. I Milo Denison. Joining me is clear. Milan and and call Fini. I need to come up with like cool. Intros like the wonderful Claire Milan in the elegance calling is that we're was going to go out. I was actually going to end. The the will someday be sir. Call feeding the on the run nationally for the honorary knighthoods something. Yeah we'll we're trying something different with the show if you are one of our longtime listeners and fans thank you very much for watching and what we're doing is we're going to try doing a kind of possibly audio slash video type thing where we're going to meet virtually and do the show virtually and see how it goes so listen or watch this whole thing and then let us know what you think at the end of it you can always contact us are any of our social media channels which is at. Nobody's show via twitter instagram facebook etc. And today we are going to talk about a find that clarify for us. So what are we discussing Claire or discussing at multifaith By VIN Diesel Savimbi's made it's been ninety by. He acted directed as he he wrote us. Compose Music Bruce. He produced this. He did everything for his on. This is what launched his career to Steven Spielberg so to spend them uncast Sabre Private Ryan. Would he should definitely definitely check. It GETS FREE. On Youtube with boiling. Touris was just. I'm not a massive sign of diesel schools as Is Fast and furious. I don't actually produce film just blew me away and He could be like. He's looking amazing. Dramatic actor terrific. Yeah it was yeah. It was really surprising because yeah he made it in nineteen ninety five and so you could tell it was one of these lake. Look at me. I'm an actor really. Cast me something but the fact that he did it in and and all actors of Kinda had the same experiences that he's had where you walk into an audition and they're like oh you're great then you never hear from again or oh your little to this or just a little too that And so like in this. He had at situations where like You're just a little too white or We wanted somebody with long hair. Like it's based on his his read experience for additions. 'cause he's I think he he's he's multiracial mixed race and he every time he went to edition he wasn't black enough. I wasn't white one great sadness. He goes for a soap opera and he looks kind of Latino astonished. He rewound Punished doesn't know where to Spanish. It's it's just terrific but it was amazing because this I think it was made for four thousand dollars until two as it got into confident festival. Two hundred ninety seven. I think we're talking seven. And he got a standing ovation a can it was just. It's just amazing. It's already really impressed. Current Windows said. Oh we're going to watch has been diesel or lose actually. It's a vague memory at the back of my mind that I should know that I recognize the name so then I looked them up and sawyers in saving private Ryan fencing and I don't even know thing acid section like he. He's in the best furious but that that fell multi facial really impressed by his acting chops and a nearly argued that that he didn't really fulfill his potential that he showed in in the short film. Honest when you amazing comedic actress when you see her in dramatic roles. Nosy out of US know. So I think I lost to see like vin diesel. Engine Branson do more dramatic roles. Maybe VIN Diesel Jennifer Aniston dramatic film of. Yeah fire actor like he's he's had a successful career most of the joke around Hollywood's with videos of them trying to give it to the. I just think it shows you what you can do. You can create your own career. If you're you don't have the agents connector you're not cashing parks throughout casting what you want to cast him. It just shows you. Someone just took the initiative That became really successful. You know it's really inspiring. I think it was still. It was still a bit of a look involved in always know convulse. I think that this Bill Berg side I know. Yeah what is Steven? Spielberg watching these lake. You know little short films rolling around and you know he's got so more than maybe got into kind Felix. That was a big deal that I gave them the platform to be seen but he did. He did actually after he made multiracial as he. He came back and he. You raise money for a feature film which didn't do very well. Thank you raise Dollars and did he make that feet. He was despondent at that stage. I think he might have. Yeah I think he did so That would be strays. I think is is the thing that came from that. A Macho cruiser comes of age frustrated by the repetitious grind of one. Night stands and aimless hustling steady drug dealer. Rick is looking for meaningful and intimacy in his life. So I'm guessing that's them. I wonder where you can get. Thus can get on youtube or something. Can You Renzo sir? I thought it was. It was quite amusing At the the film motivational at at the very end he does this monologue on people there like any like. He shows the real motivational acting. I do not WanNa look and they they tell them you're really good and then even afterwards some becomes even if you don't get the black you like he wrote it he wrote that barred for zagging those basically having a good any was fairness still moving as well he just didn't expect to see that. Wendy's is when I saw his name attached to better my own. This is the action but wasn't retiree tourist bryce especially with how it starts because it's basically him doing a monologue to somebody offscreen and so the monologue that he's doing this totally kind of Italian racist sexist kind of character. Like okay what does this? And then 'cause you can kind of believe okay. I can see vin diesel doing this and then find out that it's monologue that he was doing and stuff was really good at a taxi. Actually drew two broke it off then. It's like brilliant when he was strumming actor. His mother gave him a book of how to make volume and he hoped that book like a Bible and roses. No let's this show is you. You know a again for me. It's the inspiring and I didn't expect to get from Wendy's. Yeah because you you kind of doing finding that you're doing this now to with your career is like you. WanNa get roles and stuff. You're writing them for yourself in making them and paying Carter's throwing a cast him though. Yeah I-i I ended up but it's amazing it makes you can build a network of people and it gives you more control of your career no and even She'll come in the next February that I'm working at the moments and it's it's great to kind of to Rice these hearts under such great fun to create them. Otherwise you'd be getting with the phones. Remember unless you're very brave to me but it's definitely a message for aspiring actors. Don't just save control of your own career and create on these unsurrendered. But with people concerned he could people make nothing because it was so successful you know hopefully yep totally cool okay Well that is vin diesel in What's it called again facial so Yeah I know you wouldn't think in the On on in the no budget Show we've got going on here that we're GONNA be talking about Vin diesel movie but hey it for three or four thousand dollars back in nineteen ninety five Which was you know? A decent chunk of change. You can do that now for much. Less thanks to the access to equipment that we have. Nowadays to phones about them he would have been cameras within this. Yeah going so I think Wendy's alright. Well thanks for listening or watching along with US tonight once again. Let us know what you think of the format in any ideas on week suggestions how we might make it more informative than useful to you our audience and with that we will see you next time. "So it's like it's like a whole different animal. I'm not going out there as a character going out there as myself. So that's like a really cool part of the Bronx Wanders show and the weird part is ninety nine and one hundred people that come they come back and that's how you survive in this down. It's not just about getting people to come see you. Once it's about getting people to come see ten twenty thirty. Forty fifty times. Yeah you know. Look at a lot of the cirque shows. I've been to a few of the shows and I fell asleep during some of them. You know because to me. A fun show is in somebody jumping on a trampoline for ninety minutes like that's is that impressive. Yeah my acid fall and break my ass on the trampoline but after ten minutes. I'm just like do. This is boring. Then yeah boring me to death. You know so. That's the only reason why at the age of thirty one and the fact that I wanna be a songwriter and still do my own career. The only reason why I'm still here is because I believe in this show so much. I believe in the product we're selling I believe in the smiles that were creating for people. I believe in the fact that we're bringing together Grandma her daughter and her granddaughter all together for one ninety minutes of fun. Yeah and that's and that's hard to do and as long as the Bronx Wanders can continue to do that. I will continue to be in the show one hundred and fifty percent and the shows giving you the opportunity to branch out into some stuff for yourself. You're podcasting now. I came out here and I'm like you know everybody in their mom is doing this thing and I didn't want to do a podcast. I wanted to do a TV show. I wanted to do like Bill Moore. John Oliver meets you know. Stephen Colbert like I wanted to. I wanted to test my comedy skills and it was a goof like I'm I was paying to do this show. I didn't get paid to do this. Show so every episode. You See of what the clock shameless. Plug Co. Checkout. What the clock. Definitely go check out. It's hilarious what the fuck was taken so I had to take. What the clock Check it out. I got to try my my comedy and I always tell people. Try Not to listen to my show. Watch my show because it's very video and photo driven and very visual and we had some you know funny crazy guests on we. Had you know Jimmy? Dennis Rock Dennis Blair like all my comedy friends I had. My Dad was a psychotic episode where we got into politics. Middle fingers were thrown. That was great and even up until the last episode. We had a presidential candidate. Come on I was GONNA say now. You only did ten episode. Yeah got to happen like that was crazy and the the the best part about that episode was the fact that you brought this. It's the one I'm thinking of. You brought this presidential candidate on with friend of mine. Show John D. TO MEDICO DONALD TRUMP. And it was really John Is. John is one of the funniest people I've ever met. Anyways he's one of the sweetest and such a nice guy and his trump is spun and winning awards he deserves. He deserves the success. I think he won the Best Las Vegas this year for best impersonator. I mean the guy does homework. He doesn't just throw on a wig and go and do it like he does his homework. He knows the vows he no okay so anyway. So the Marianne Williamson people call me up. Go Dude we saw that episode of You doing the Donald Trump guy and. We think he was hilarious. And we love it. If you could like caterer show with Austin him and Marianne kind of Pokes Fun. Stop talking right now. I already got the idea in my head. Let me call you back in two days so I called up John. I go John. I know you're touring the world on A. You're doing your thing in Australia ever. Please tell me you're in town for this date to do this again. Because again I feel that as a friend he's got he's got to get dressed. He's got to make up for an hour. It's not just given I'll pop in and do it for you. I'm asking a friend to take three hours out of his day to do this for me. And hopefully to help his career out also and the size of the heart of that totally hundred percent and we did the search and it was like you know it was. I think it was hands down our best episode and We've got some really real stuff with Marianne Williamson is really cool. She was really smart. I wish she was on more of the debates. But you know will stuff going on this country where you need a certain amount of polls in this and that and get what. The clock man was a really freeing fun experience right now. We're on hiatus because I ended season ten episodes. I'm doing my own holiday show with my Drummer Alex. Papa who's in the show spasmodic South Point he does. Mj Live me and him. Go Out and do a Brian Setzer style holiday show where we got a six piece horn section to background girl singers five piece band and we do a whole swing and rock and holiday show so basically have to learn the words to twenty five songs. Urnov Guitar Solos. I said there's no way to balance. Bronx wanders this Christmas show. What the clock like. I can only do so much. So we said let's end with the click for now will come back after the Florida tour and and people loved it. I'm shocked that people enjoyed it because I was out there. I was the only rider I didn't have a team of people riding with me. I literally sat in my bed in my underwear my laptop on my chest going. Yeah this might be funny. This might be funny. Who knows this is probably really dark. But hopefully funny there's a whole trial and error thing but But people enjoyed it. You know so. That's cool if if people wanna find info on you Bronx Wanderers. Yeah all of that stuff. You guys are all here psychiatric ward. Yeah you can check out. The Bronx wanders the Bronx Wanders Dot com type in her name anywhere. It'll show where we're at For my stuff I have my own website. It's called which way records dot com it basically houses all the bronx wanders all my personal stuff. All the what the Klux stuff everything you know. It's hard to make an episode Vin. A also with the Bronx while it was like this whole thing so it's weird but just type in Vinnie anywhere and all my stuff will come up and type in. What the clock catch up on some of those episodes they're hilarious. Some are better than others. But you'll stumble across some funny stuff and I got a new album coming out in two months. I'm really excited about. It's going to be called mountains of ignorance and that's all my original stuff so I'm also doing that on the side. I don't know how I'm doing all of this. You're you're aware there's only twenty four hours a day honestly but I have a weird brain words. Like very adhd. Where if I if? I'm not doing something I start getting really antsy and I start feeling like I should be doing something I should be. Luckily God made like we'd cookies so don't WanNa do shit. I do that you know but when I'm not doing that I'm like dude I gotta be productive. I gotta get stuff done yellow You know look at you man. You came all the way here and did this. So you're doing the same thing. Yeah a million things going in a million directions and you're flying them all right. Yeah Yeah headed back home going back into the snow okay. I can lend you five jackets. I would appreciate that. Thank you so much my friend Jeff..

What life is like in Las Vegas and Vins new foray into the world of podcasting one of the most fascinating parts of our conversation for me at least was when Vin took me behind the curtain on the topic of producing a show and keeping a show alive in Las Vegas as well as the costs associated with running a show. And who's actually responsible for covering those costs? He did a really great job of explaining why. There's such a high turnover.

"And for all of you who are like envy, m e just think to yourself, it's wicked fast, so Bris let us get started with news about securing our cars VIN, which is a security company. They have added a new program that basically brings all of those OB deep to port devices. So those things you plug into your car. They're connected. They can tell you where cars been they can tell you how it's breaking all of that. They now tie that into your smart home with Vint security package. You can get a OB port monitor device, and then it will do things like if someone bumps into your car, it will trigger the accelerometer inside that device that device will go over a cellular modem connection to the cloud. The cloud calls back down to your house, and then turns on camera in watching your driveway. And it'll be like oh, dude. It was your neighbor totally back to deal. What do you think? Well, is this something you would get like let me ask you because I don't I don't think I would. But I live in Britain of an appraiser pretty rural area. So I'm not as concerned about it. But this something you would want plugged in and tied into you need to know that much about what's going on. So I don't, but I don't park my car in the street. I think if I did park my car in the street, it might be nice. The other thing is apparently, according to the people at VIN a lot of people don't really know much about these OCD we've got to find a better name for these things. I hate saying this word, basically there little things you plug into your car. They're connected usually cellular via cellular modems. And again, they monitor where cars been how fast it's going breaking bumps all kinds of fun stuff. We actually just answered a question last week from somebody who is like a teen driver. And I'm thinking that might be a good thing to get. And then to that person. I would say yes, do you need to link it to your house? Vivian is get a charge you ten dollars a month for one and then five dollars a month.
