Now get looking I know that Ownership passed ownership again. The money the aspect is you could argue all. Day long but Eighteen A team that's been playing well that you know, the the cubs are in. Town it is kind surprising just that's why these teams still cry. Poor although the idea that there's such a thing as a small market team, anymore I guess they do generate a lot of revenue with their regional sports. Networks I understand, that but the what they're splitting up now from advanced media big of what they're splitting up from the big. Pi it's, like don't I don't want to hear Kansas City and, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, cry, poor maybe I'm crazy But jeez can they be the Yankees the cops. Are the, Red Sox probably not but you still can operate like, it's, nineteen, ninety, five it's amazing The pressure of what the Steelers. There you're For..

"I'll tell you about it later i let me tell you a little story i work weird hours and stuff to find people to hang around with but i do have a couple of friends one of them is named lydia i used to be a roommate with lydia at fortythree winter street three people loft it was it was paradise there was too good to be true really only lasted eighteen months had two great roommates one of them was lydia i didn't see lydia for longtime and then we started hanging out again and she said hey bradley you should go to a trivia night my friend keller puts it on trying to raise money to do the pan mass challenge you should come so i went to one venue and it was okay the the trivia night was really good the venue is okay and then there was another one where both trivia night and the venue great and at the beginning of that trivia night callen told a story which is pretty interesting pretty compelling story and so i thought you know what i i should probably use whatever leverage or exposure i can give the situation all i can so she's here tonight how you doing i'm good thanks for having me absolutely so what we're going to do is find out about you find out about what you're doing why you're doing it and all the challenges you've run into some particularly nasty challenges and what it's like out riding the bike because that's part of the story so callen been really is i will talk about what you do because it's pretty interesting if i met you what few years ago maybe i'd i'd be librarian because you turned me onto a whole bunch of people there by various library science people who super cool like lydia that's how you know lydia my roommate yep and you and a guy named peter yet peter fearsome contender at trivia and he's the boss of the belmont library that's right and you're the boss of the brooklyn library yes i'm wanting to assistant directors there and lydia's the boss are kind of the bus over it no yes she's the head of tech services so she is she bosses the people who do that book cataloging around so librarians aren't aren't what one would expect i guess it's just like this group of really super cool people yeah i mean i think that we've all had an interesting i guess passageway till iberian ship especially you know i'm not really sure exactly lydia's case but i know peter and i both didn't really think this is what we're going to do when we grew up and i think that increasingly when a when a get to know people in the profession i think why we're drawn to it is in part because we've had these really weird experiences that were not related now one thing that's cool about it all the facts you hear a fact oriented business oriented life and i like facts i'm a fact oriented life here as well and so that naturally lends itself to trivia right and so that all makes much sense now you had a situation where you had a friend sometime ago who i guess meant a lot to you and was kind of instructive to you in some ways right and she passed away can you tell me about her and your relationship and the situation and out of that kind of brought you to compete or participate in the pan mass challenge shirt so i'm writing in memory of my college theater director mary jane levering i attended a really small private school in upstate new york that was it makes it sound like it was really classy but it definitely wasn't but not in a bad way it was just it was an interesting place it's kind of hard to explain it quickly but it was it's a it's actually a satellite used to be a satellite school syracuse university it's called utica college it's about fifty miles away from syracuse and it.

"And of course tomorrow night is game two of the nba finals tonight is game number three of the stanley cup finals you know we don't talk hockey lot and i'm not gonna try to break it down for you because i'll admit up no i'm not i'm not in nhl authorities since it's not a topic we talk about but i do think it is fascinating that the that the golden knights story is incredible it really is and what a home ice advantage that they have developed there and obviously they split the first two games and game three is tonight and washington had this long drought they've got the the star you know who has never been able to get to the finals and he finally got there but the golden knights if you wonder like i think it's a cool story and it's good for vegas and they've gotten great attendance you wonder though is it bad does it make the league look bad that an expansion team is able to go to the stanley cup finals and win i don't know if that a lot of people are looking at it from that perspective by like you're not it's not supposed to be that easy to win by a team of like nobody thought it'd be any good they were huge long shot in vegas in vegas four vegas and they and here they are on the doorstep of a stanley cup championship i was on a guest on a radio station in toronto this week and i was picking picking on him a little bit and talking about the fact that you know the it's been what fifty years i think since the leafs have won the stanley cup as per fifty fifty one years and the fact that no team canada hasn't won since the early nineties is really amazing it's wild so anyway this is kind of an interesting story but back to the nba finals joining me now a guy who started at the same radio station i did his career w i b x in utica and then i started my career there as well and he went to utica college where i got to do play by play for a while.
