Urano studies, how stress affects our brains at the I con school of medicine at Mount Sinai. People in he's threat. But I get the m I feel like that. So when the brain sees a threat it sends a message to glands right behind the stomach, above the kidneys, the brain tells the glands, make hormones dream clans. Why don't you get some adrenaline going and while you're at it, get me some cortisol, you got it by horror chemical that other parts of the body, what to do lots of different woman, cortisol and adrenaline each sends slightly different messages. "It would have been a grilling day because it was nice outside. I kept trying to get my dog out. He's pretty smart. She knows when it's raining. He wants no part of it. Glad glad mocks quiet now, she wouldn't go out into the backyard. Maybe if I had fired up my grill in my backyard and put them back meets on the I could've gotten around and outs and didn't get around to late afternoon. But the sun finally came out got the dog out that started to rain again, and we had a game delay. But the hour and thirty minutes we had to wait was worth the wait. Because right off the bat gay TV I'll Muto goes up. Oh solo upo in inning number one. And to this point JT hasn't had a JT bail Muto type year. Got off to a little slow start. If you go from opening day on he's had his good games. He's had poor games. Tonight. Was a good start. And that's all you got the Phillies off on the right foot with the solo home run opposite field shot that he hit second batter at the game. But affiliates to give them the one nothing lead. They would add another run in the port on. Another. Apple Homer, this one by Mike Cal Franko. Who of course, was you could argue the Philly hottest hitter from the first fifteen games of the season somewhere there abouts at an Opie s well above a thousand up near thirteen fourteen hundred he unfortunately has come back down to earth, and because of necessity would a lot of injuries to police have suffered and a couple of guys struggling they had to take him out of his comfort zone and manage its comfort zone, which was just writing his name into that number eight in the lineup where he was very productive. They needed him a little higher up in the lineup. And could be told the hasn't delivered as much. Shitting higher in the lineup that he did when he's down in the number eight spot where he delivered a solo home run in the fourth inning to give Jared. I cough a little bit more breathing room. I call ends up going seven scoreless. The only thing that really was worrisome was the sixth because at the time in the sixth inning was still just two to nothing lead Brinson led off with the RBI double and then a very strange move. I thought by Don Mattingly and Mattingly's a pretty good manage I happen to be a fan. But it doesn't mean I can't disagree from time to time with tiny ballgame. And he's calling on I actually feel badly for him because he's only got so many buttons. He can push the Marlins aren't very good team. He led his starting pitcher Jose Urano hit in the top of the sixth inning. You know, what's in pitching badly. The only two really bad pitches. He made was to be on Muto owner now Franko where he was actually pitching pretty well. I get it. But that lineup you need to score runs when you get a chance. And by the way, I cough was pitching. Well, you are trailing to not than the game. You let Rena head and you renowned up striking out which I didn't necessarily agree with the next two batters popped up. I coughed got out of that. Tricky six dating question was gonna come back from the seven. Oh, yeah. He did. And it was a one two three seventh inning. So kudos to jarred. I caught best starting effort. He's had in quite some time. And he gave the Phillies bullpen a little bit of a respite. Sure enough templates still found a way to use three pitches over the final two innings which I'm not gonna split hairs complain about. But I coughed did them a major solid by going seven shutout innings tonight and little distance in a game on the score. Board and over the school board as a matter of fact provided by one Bryce Harper who had a bomb of all run four hundred Twitter into right field. Second deck running around base to add two more runs and give the Phillies comfort zone that they needed the manager decided to go with pack Nisha in the non save situation in the night. And check out the done the job done. Put the bow on the president of the four nothing. Philly win your game recap. Brought to you by acme spring. Is here. Your local acne stocked ready with the fresh meat and produce perfect time to five to take in a game. And discover why springtime he's better with acme. Your favorite local local supermarket fairly fans. The final out is view to be heard on your squad. Like, I said we had some worry last night on the phones. Do we flip the switch that easily should because Phillies? Look damn good tonight. Homerun hitters don't want that supposed to do. We had run starting pitchers doing what they're supposed to do shutout innings and bullpen picking up. Right. Where two starting pitchers dropped off. When missed I caught was given the rest of the night off. That's basically checking off all the boxes. What do you think?.

"The line on on many points. But the style. Degree, dan. Right. I mean, you would agree that he plays on bigotry. Right. I mean, that's that seems like no, I I think he I think he likes to push peoples buttons. And whereas other people have sort of internal check where they say, yes, we can push peoples buttons, but don't push those buttons because those buttons are sort of out of out of ballet, hang hang on bigotry. And look, I totally agree. There's there's a part of Donald Trump's appeal that people in our profession never really understood that has to do with his unfiltered nece has to do with his political incorrectness. Right. But he's also doing stuff that just race baiting. Right. Like the ad that he ran about the caravan and Mexican criminals coming into the US, it's just playing on racial fears, right or when he talks about you know, how how Democrats are planning to steal the election in urban areas. And so on that's just playing on white Republican fears of African American corrupt politicians doing voter fraud. Why don't they vote stealing is a race as a category? So, you know, any Republican who's criticizing vote stealing or any Republican who's criticizing illegal immigrant who comes over and kills a police officer liberals in particular have sort of they see all these things as purely sort of racial plays. I don't see it that way. I I look at Donald Trump running an advertisement, which you know, my big problem with it in large part is that it was factually inaccurate saying that the Democrats brought this guy over, but this was a guy who kill the police officer was boasting about it. It's nasty politics. But I don't think it's racial politics to the degree that progressives have have claimed it is. It's the idea that there may be criminality the idea that there is some degree of risk to the either electoral system or do people safety that conservatives are most concerned about Donald Trump is very adept at bringing out those fears and magnifying them, and I do agree with you on that. Right. And he's magnifying though, in a way that is not on the evidence of his approval ratings and the outcome of the midterm election. And even for that matter the outcome in two thousand sixteen when he had to win vary. Very narrowly in a series of important electoral college states in order to win the presidency. None of this is delivering the fifty five to sixty percent popular majorities that Republicans got under Nixon and under Reagan in the two analogies. That Urano piece cited for Trump Trump is unpopular. He's not obviously more unpopular than Mitt Romney was among blacks, and Latinos, and Asians, but Mitt Romney was very very very unpopular among blacks, and Latinos and Asians. And I guess my question for you is how do you get from a politician who is seen by many people not just white liberals as a sort of deliberate racial polarize her and who is only winning forty to forty five percent support from the country. How do you sort of pivot from that to the Nixon or the Reagan who actually takes Trumpism and turned it into something that can unite the country is that? Possible. It is possible. I think Republicans can succeed if they actually get a new message and go after groups whether it's ethnic groups, whether it's geographic regions of the country, whether it's interest groups ideologies, whatever the case may be if they actually go to these groups with a message that really does connect to that group with the idea of American greatness, and with the idea of the kind of country that, you know, populism nationalism wants to create, but I think you can take this message to black Americans. You can look at the fact that, you know, black unemployment is at historic lows right now, you can look at the fact that it's one of the things that high degrees of immigration tend to do is to crowd out lower-wage African American workers, for example, you can take this message to people you can also build bridges with the actual leaders in these communities, and you could start to have some results, and it's going to be slow. It's going to take time you have to build trust before people come around and support you and Donald Trump's would have gambled on these sort of industrial midwestern workers and two thousand sixteen the. Gamble paid off..

Chief Urano rejuvenate hall with saying I can't do that it could jeopardize the case. And therefore, we can't do that. We're not gonna do. They even talk on one of the new stores. I have in front of me from a week or two ago that could take months could take months to fire. We don't know. And so how all of a sudden from less Tuesday at a town hall meeting where people demanded that the chief fire, amber, Geiger. Why hasn't she been fired? The chief said I can't do that. Because there are both local state and federal laws that prohibited from taking action laws. There are laws that prohibited. Her from she legally cannot do it. And what's today? Monday. Six days later, fired fired. Wow. I guess the laws have changed. I guess the local state and federal laws were changed over the weekend. No, what happened was the chief of Dallas police bowed to pressure. Because the mob. The the Lynch mob, the mob mentality is leading all of this stuff. That's what's happening. Tell you one good thing about all this the Texas. Rangers are investigating exact sure's had do not trust. The Dallas police under chief hall to do a proper investigation. And by the way, it's funny. Because the. The family of both John does not trust the Dallas police to investigate self either for the opposite reasons, right funny. Hey, if we both agree of must be right, right? I don't trust him because she she'll she'll do whatever the mob wants to do. And they don't trust them because they have an officer shot and killed the young man who was just buried. Unfortunately, you know in Saint Lucia. So let's let's kinda tracked through this a little bit. Because it's pretty amazing. Oh, and let me also say this to another thing that the chief of staff of achieve hall said that that the ruling whether to fire her or not will be on hold until the criminal investigation is complete. I executive producer. Chris is the criminal investigation complete. Must be. That's over the investigation. Is officially over. Ladies and gentlemen, why was fat? Oh. Please. Have a closed investigation party tonight on the Chris krok program. So. I'm actually going to ask you, I I'm actually wondering if there is no case. Maybe everything that's going on in all of this shows you how they're really really is. No case. Actually, I wonder is there. No case is that what they're doing. All this. Because days after hall said she falls said that you know, a fire who would. Compromise. The investigation. She breaks federal state, local, according to your own words, and the investigation is complete according to her own words, and so that tells me that she's compromising what you would want to do to. Appease them up. And if she's compromise and every step she's taken us to appease the mob, and she's a P two Ps the mob. That tells me there was no case. Because ultimately, she's worried about a riot. And if there is a time when a riot may happen. It's over something. I don't want it to because I don't ever want to look, and I don't care. What what what you think? I care what I'm accountable for. Right. I I'm accountable for myself, not how you think I'm saying things, but I personally to myself and to my God will not ever do anything that. I believe will inside a right. But I think this is the one out of anyone that's likely to happen. I hope to God it doesn't. And I think that at every ended that chief for you and your hall who is a black lives matter. Police chief a Black Panther police chief. Is bowing to the mob and doing everything because the mob, and perhaps she knows there's not going to be a conviction or case to Eddie ways. And therefore, screw it. Whatever I can do to help them because it looks like I did everything cancelled that I'm not the bad guy in this. And it's what I told you since day one on this case, it's like a child that you do not. Disciplined properly. And the day comes where you because you didn't discipline the child properly was they lash out at you. And then you have to do something that is unmistakable. You know what I'm saying? Like you have to put the hammer down, right? And is because you never took care of the problem earlier on and do it the right way, you've appeased you've appease you've appeased same thing with terrorism. Same thing with terrorism ignored ignored kissing. Oh, I love Islam is a religion of peace. Come very he job, whatever they blow up so young that kind of stuff, whatever. And then eventually you get killed twenty one hundred people killed in a terrorist attack. Then you have to do something. Right. Same kind of thing. So pacifying the child in this case will only lead to an eventual confrontation, they fired her for adverse conduct. They fired her for adverse conical, let's talk about adverse conduct. It's funny because there's an argument over whether it was in color of duty, right? Whether it was in the scope of her job. And by the way, the experts have said that it the guy that used to run the homicide division for the city of Dallas is the assistant chief of police or just retired two months ago said that she was absolutely in the line of duty when she did this. Absolutely. When you go home from your job, you're coming home in your uniform, you absolutely in the uniform. But of course, chief Paul doesn't want that. So no, she wasn't a cop which is gonna not pay out. Well for them. I don't think it's I don't think they're going to get that. But never to adverse conduct. What was it verse?
