Unpacking the $40 Billion Bipartisan Betrayal

"Going to simply get started by allowing representative chip Roy to articulate some of the frustration that I am currently in possessive possession of. I think I've voiced the concerns of millions of Americans when we see a number as high as 40. Now remember, Biden wanted 33 billion. Which was insane in and of itself. And I'm going to explain just how insane that is in a second. But let's let chip Roy take it from here. Let's cut 76. Paul and for Maryland talked about protecting this institution or talked about this institution, but we got a $40 billion bill at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I haven't had a chance to review the bill my staff is pouring over the pages, trying to see what's in it. You want to talk about the institution. You want to talk about standing up alongside Ukraine. Why don't we actually have a debate on the floor of the people's house instead of the garbage of getting a $40 billion bill at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Not paid for without having any idea what's really in it with a massive slush fund that goes to the State Department, $13 billion, 8 billion for the economic support fund, a 110 million for embassy security. We've got 40 billion that is unpaid for and you want to sit here and lecture this body about what we're going to do or not do about staying alongside Ukraine. Why don't we talk about the American people who are hurting the wide open borders that inflation that's killing people. The jobs that people can't get because of the cost of goods and services in this country. Amen. So let's go through this. February 26th, Biden approves $350 million in military aid for Ukraine according to Reuters. March 16th, Biden approves an additional $800 million in military aid for Ukraine. According to The New York Times. March 30th, Ukraine to receive an additional $500 million in aid from the U.S.. Biden announces its NBC News. April 12th, U.S. to announce $750 million more in weapons for Ukraine officials say. According to Reuters, may 6th, Biden announces new $150 million weapons package for Ukraine. Altogether those amounts are in excess of $3 billion.

"I mean, we've got news now that two of Vladimir Putin's daughters who he's never actually formally acknowledged, but this is from a relationship a marriage. He had back when he was a KGB officer years ago. He did give birth to his wife, gave birth to two girls. They have now both been sanctioned by President Biden's expected that the EU will sanction them as well. This means, of course, if they can not transact in U.S. dollars, they can not come to the U.S., they can not hold any money in U.S. bank accounts. It's believed that there's quite a bit of money that has been kept in the U.S. for both of these women. Also sanctioned Russia's foreign ministers daughter, Sergey lazarev daughter, has been sanctioned and, as I said, two Russian banks won alpha bank the largest privately owned bank fourth largest overall and also sure bank, which is Russia's largest bank, and it's believed that they are handling one third of the assets in the Russian financial system, $500 billion. Government Files Sentencing Recommendations for Brandon Straka in Connection to Jan. 6

"Today is sentencing day for Brandon struck the founder of the welcoming movement. This is a very important movement that has been a sort of vehicle for a lot of Democrats and leftists to move right to move to the Republican Party to become conservatives. And ASRock is a young dynamic, kind of a charismatic guy quite a character. A few years ago I took part in an event with him that he sponsored in Portland, kind of a walk away event. And antifa showed up. And the antifa guys I think brought their sticks and I think they thought they would cause trouble. They'd already vandalized the venue tried to break the lock and so on, but of course this event had plenty of security, had armed guards, and once the antifa guys saw the guns, you know, they had sticks, the security people had guns, they basically decided to quit, and they began to sulk and scowl and one guy took out a flute and began to play it. The whole thing had a surreal quality, but I remember it vividly. Now the government's sentencing recommendation. Now Brandon struck pleaded guilty to causing a disturbance something that he actually didn't even do. But we're going to get to what he actually did. But the government wants to sentence him to four months of house arrest. So kind of an effect lock him up in his own house with an ankle monitor and so on. Three years of probation. 60 hours of community service and $500 of restitution. And now, when you think about this recommendation, it doesn't seem in of itself something unendurable. In fact, Brian and straw call me a few days ago and he's like, what do you think about this? And I go, well, the sentence itself is stupid. Obviously, it's not a crime. It's not a, it's not a grievous suffering to be confined to your own home. I go you can be very effective. What really was worrying brand in the most was the fact that the left and here I'm thinking of an article in political magazine that Brandon alerted me to. Trump allies struck as provided potentially significant information. And if you read the article, it looks like prosecutors are giving branded straw a good deal. A kind of a light sentence because he has sort of spilled the beans. He is a sort of ratted out Trump is right about other conservatives. Now this is nothing could be further from the

Nationwide Outrage Rises for Continued Violence by Repeat Offenders

"I saw great article at Fox News dot com last night. String of violent crimes committed by career offenders leaves communities nationwide outraged. Well, I hope so. We better start waking up, the arrest of the 39 year old career criminal who murdered all those people in Waukesha Wisconsin. Left many Americans wondering, how's this guy out on the streets in the first place? I mean, this guy was arrested November this second for assaulting and running over the mother of his child. Then he was released on a $1000 bail. A week before he allegedly plowed through the Christmas parade in Waukesha Wisconsin. Months after that, he was freed on a $500 bail in February for firing a gun at his nephew. This guy's a guy's a rotten guy. He's a bad guy. 39 year old convicted sex offender. He's got a rap sheet a mile long. And now the district attorney says, it's human error. A district, the district attorney's office made a mistake in giving him a $1000

Waukesha Christmas Parade Suspect Darrell Brooks' History of Crime

"Daryl Brooks killed 5 people and possibly many others we don't know. We pray that those people make it through. He was charged previously with recklessly endangering the safety of others. In a very recent case, he purposefully ran over a woman, with his vehicle at a gas station. In the case this month, the woman told police Brooks purposefully ran her over with his vehicle. And she was walking through a gas station after he had followed her there after a fight, according to a criminal complaint. The woman was hospitalized for her injuries, so he has a tendency to run people over with his car. Daryl Brooks junior does. And yet he was released on a $1000 bail and is now a mass murdering terrorist. I'm already gonna tell you this is gonna unfold. The media will ignore this. They will not cover this. They will move on to their next thing. Front page of CNN dot com suspect and parade may have been fleeing another scene. It says here on the front page of CN. 5 people are dead and more than 40 are injured after an SUV, plowed into a Wisconsin parade. Officials believe the suspect was escaping another incident. Oh, that makes a perfectly fun. No pictures, no information around the person who did this, of course not. The Milwaukee county district attorney's office issued two counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety and Fallon in possession of firearm in 2020. Cash bail was originally sent at $10,000 and then reduced to 7500. Unlike some other states Wisconsin requires a payment for the full amount of bail in any criminal case. In February 2021, the state was prepared to proceed with a scheduled jury trial, mister Brooks was still in custody on this matter, and previously made a demand for a speedy jury trial. Because another jury trial was still in progress for the same court, the defendant's demand for a speedy trial could not be met. The case was adjourned and bail was reduced to $500.

What's Actually in the House-Passed Build Back Better Bill?

"So what is in this bill? This is according to breitbart dot com. They do a wonderful job. House passes behemoth build back better act. Funds, Biden's banking surveillance apparatus, the bill would spend $500 million to hire new Department of Justice tax division surveillance agents to bring civil and criminal cases against Americans if we're not rating enough homes right now. It removes any prohibition regarding Uyghur Muslims in China, Democrats have removed the provision of the previous draft that would have prohibited any funding, provided by title and science spacer technology award a contract subcontract grant or loan to an entity involved with using the forced labor of Uighur Muslims. How about tax pork for trial lawyers? This provision modifies current law expensing rules to allow plaintiff's attorneys to deduct out of pocket litigation costs in the year they are incurred. How about number 6? This is a fun one. The build back better act would add language, creating a tax credit for wages paid to journalists. That's what we need. We need more New York Times reporters. The bill would add $500 million. $500 million. That's the annual operating budget of Pittsburgh every single year to give you an idea. The whole city. For schools of medicine, prioritizing funding, based on racial demographics, and requiring faculty to be hired and students be recruited based on prioritizing racial and demographic characteristics. How about left wing divisive race baiting? This bill with add back language that continues the race baiting attempts. As Americans is oppressive claiming all minorities are denied a full opportunity to participate in the American way of life that's a direct quote out of the bill. That all minorities are denied a full opportunity from participating in American life. There's $2.5 billion for tree equity. It'd be a $2.5 billion slush fund that would send taxpayer dollars to radical environmental groups to plant trees and advance tree equity. The bill asks for hundreds of millions of dollars to promote funding for racism and discrimination training curriculum, funding for healthcare risk training to promote the lips climate agenda and refers to pregnant women as

"Signing bonuses are usually reserved for professional athletes in a privileged few white collar professionals, But not this summer. More from Patrick Thomas, reporter at The Wall Street Journal, who says a lot of industries are Having their hands forced Patrick, what's out there? Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I mean, it's all the signing bonuses really run the gamut. I mean employers. The upshot as employers are really desperate to hire workers and a lot of especially blue collar areas, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, food service industries, truck drivers, housekeepers, You know the work's and And they're handing out signing bonuses hundreds of dollars to thousands of dollars $500 to $3000 to $10,000 and some, especially in places like truck driving. So it's all over the place. But employers are really trying to get employees in the door with the signing bonuses at least one Burger King location, offering a $1500 signing bonus. Yeah, That's true. Burger King was this in Pennsylvania put up a $1500 banner in front of their store. Um, we've seen jobs and Iowa and Georgia and poultry plants advertise $1500 to $2000 at a casino and resort in Oklahoma. Um it runs all over the place. Wow. I know, uh, some of my son's friends who are teenagers, you know, working at Wa wa they're picking up $500 bonuses just for For signing on. Typically, though, how are some of those bigger bonuses paid to get a lump summer? Is that spread out over several paychecks? How does that work? You know That's a good point, because a lot of the businesses that use these one of the reasons they like him because it helps with retention because the way they pay him out is you get maybe $250 here. Maybe, like a prepaid gift card or something along those lines and you get $250 1st week or 1st 10 Days ish. And then second week you'll get another 2 50. After 90 days, you'll get $500 direct deposit your paycheck. Uh so they try and spread it out a little bit in order to keep in place around longer CNN just take it and run And then a week later, you go get a new job and get another $1000. So try and keep you around a little bit for speak with Patrick Thomas, reporter at The Wall Street Journal. His stories called this summer jobs come With a hefty signing bonus. Um as you point out the story to just because bonuses are offered. That's no guarantee that a company is going to be able to fill a job. That's right. It's in a lot of cases. There are still shortages and I think one of the things that Think employers are keeping an eye on here is there's a lot of competition now because everybody's doing the signing bonuses and this could escalate when you've got $1000 and the Just down the street mother offering 1500, so they're all competing for this regional talent, So it's not necessarily a long term solution, especially if some of these bonuses keep escalating for employers will come a time when they might not be able to offer more or Much as they might reach a point where they just raise wages across the board. Jesus. Is this a big business versus small business thing? That's a good point. I don't know if you can necessarily say that because we're seeing a lot of small businesses offer them as well. I think we're seeing it. You know, we've seen Amazon maybe kind of offer $1000 or $3000 in certain markets. So It really runs the board. But you are seeing a lot of big businesses with deeper pockets, able to maybe one up some of the places in a region If I'm a local restaurant with $500 in Amazon warehouse comes at the 3000. You know, you can kind of see What that might do. It is Amazon getting the credit and or blame for starting all this with the signing bonuses haven't talked to anybody who said quite that, But they did certainly announces in May and I think some companies were a little quicker. There was manufacturer in Georgia that did it many months ago in order to complete compete with federal unemployment, So I think that might have that's kind of the big trigger for a lot of people is being boosted Unemployment benefits certainly stay say so and in addition to a signing bonus I don't know 4 to 6 months down the road. Are some employees forced to come up with a retention bonus like a stick around a few more months, so we'll give another bonus. Yeah, We've seen that in a couple of cases, especially when employers like to spread these out over 90 days, but if they need to upgrade their bonuses, there are some instances where I mentioned mentioned a casino resort in Oklahoma. They offered a current employees, $1000 retention bonuses and other incentives as well that are drawing for a car. They were giving away a couple cars to employees, so they're certainly other benefits that current employees are going to get us. If he's signing bonuses continue throughout the summer, it could be more cash incentives. That's Patrick.

"In San Diego was well. A new report from the San Diego Housing Federation shows 81% of low income families are paying more than half of their income on housing costs, a statistic housing advocates fear will trend up as more big companies purchase housing developments. Folks come in. Purchase the buildings and then raise the rents to what the current market is. And so we've seen a huge loss of naturally affordable housing in San Diego. And that's why the San Diego Housing Federation is pushing for legislation that would help organizations like nonprofits in acquiring property. Keeping rent at an affordable rate. How To Know If Your Breakup Is Real Or Fake

"This week i want to talk about how to know if you're break-up is real or fake yes. There are two different types of breakup real ones and fake ones. Hopefully yours is a fake one. Usually they're not. But you have a much better chance again. You're back if it is a fake bake break-up because of course they really don't want to break up with you. It is eight manipulation and there are two types of manipulative fake breakup. There are the good kind of the bad kind. I don't sound strange. The good manipulation and the bad manipulation so the goodman manipulation would be and you sheets women that have to do this with guys to wake them up where they feel like. They're being taken for granted the non appreciated and so they just okay. That's it it's over and they're hoping that he will miss them and realize what she brings their life and come running back and say no. Please don't break up with me. So that would be one example of fake break-up that is for good purposes to wake up so he'll see what he's going to lose what he's going to be missing out on if they're not together. The bad manipulation is if someone feels like they're losing control over you the feel powerless and they're trying to get that power back and so they do the fake break of the go go's over and they hope that you'll deny no. Don't go with me. please stop onto. I'll do anything. And then they have the power

No Bridge in Sight for Biden Infrastructure Plan

"House has made concessions on its massive infrastructure plan. Though President Biden and Republican senators remain far apart. NPR's Windsor Johnson reports on the offer that produces money for roads, bridges and other projects. Biden administration has cut the overall price tag of its infrastructure package to $1.7 Trillion about $500 billion less than AWAS. White House press secretary Jen Psaki says the new numbers more closely aligned with Senate Republicans requests. In our view, this is the art I should say of seeking common ground. Proposal exhibits a willingness to come down in size. We'll also staying firm in areas that are most vital to rebuilding our infrastructure and industries of the future. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has said Republicans could support a package up to $800 billion. He also says Biden's plan to roll back Trump era tax cuts is where Republicans draw the line.

Business insider was given access and they show you you know, Johnny Johnny Donovan. Whatever His name is the guy that announces and when he comes out, and then they have their cameras. They're sort of floating around the studios. And then backstage. You see, I guess earlier in the day because he's in plain clothes is in its very casual clothes. Alex Trebek behind his desk. And he's got these giant sheaves of paper and they're sitting there and you'll hear the guy who's doing the video here. Ask him what he's up to. And Alex is explaining, but he's looking at these giant look, they look like spreadsheets. Like someone who's doing accounting for a massive corporation would be reviewing. And so here we go. What are you doing? I'm just going over the games that we're gonna be taping today. To familiarize myself with Words, the sense of each clue so that I do not Make too many mistakes when I'm reading the clues as we take them. It goes back to looking in the guy's filming him. Got his diet about an hour and I have to go over the five games. He goes through each one of them. Take five shows today. Yes. That's what they would do. They would tape five shows in one day, so you think Well, that's only 2.5 hours of airtime. Well, no, it's not. It takes a lot more set up to shoot a TV show. So they'd shoot five shows. And then oftentimes would shoot six days in a row. I mean, this is back during his primaries today, so think of that they'd shoot a whole month of shows. And then there are few that air I guess, and you can hear there for other special use. We have another 125 or seven the pipeline, so we're doing our good job or were more making it work. Um, Andre, uh, And we look forward. We look forward to when it we don't have to give out covert grants anymore. We still give out our regular grants of someone in the restaurant industry finds themselves in real real trouble. Because of illness because of fire or something we give out $1500 grants but covert, we give up $500 grants. So I mean, something new. "That little loophole put in by the Democratic secretary state and in Pennsylvania. Election officials and heavily democratic counties such as Philadelphia County. Received funding from sucker Berg's group. Which allowed flawed mail in ballots to be cured. That is of a ballot was sent in without a proper signature signature didn't look right or without an address without a check on a certain box. That there was money available to call the voter and say your ballot needs to be cured, altered or replace pride to election day in other counties and red counties. The secretary of state didn't do that only allowed it and Democratic counties. Democratic secretary State Kathy Book for Book far sought to imbue this illegal practice with the appearance of validity by issuing a statement authorizing counties to contact voters who had cast him proper balance. She did She made it up. Because of Article two section one of the U. S Constitution, the only entity and each day that can set the time place and manner of elections are state legislators. None of these changes went through the state legislatures, whether it was Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Michigan whatsoever. It simply was done by Democratic activists. Some other little things that happen and 2020 election that ensured the defeat of the president. That non non resident voters In the state of Georgia. Could vote in his estimated by the Voter Integrity Project that about 20,000 people who no longer met residency requirements voted in the state of Georgia. 20,000 and binds. Margin of victory is 12,650. There were tremendous overvotes overvotes that is Pennsylvania mailed out. 1.8 million ballots but received back 2.5 million goes of Internet registrations and intend Pennsylvania counties buying secured more votes than were registered Democrat voters. And Nevada. More than 78,000 votes in the presidential election, or cast and democratic areas above democratic registrations in those areas. Serious chain of custody problems that is normally and a functional state like Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana. Requested through frankly, Rose's office an absentee ballot. It was sent in. Sit down Penny and I sat down one afternoon to talk about 10 minutes. We kind of knew the characters running and we voted from the top to the bottom. And then we drove and my case I drove the ballot. They haven't county Board of elections put it in the box. When these votes were sent out when 1.8 million ballots are sent out, not requiring the person who requested the balance of having had requested it. You don't know who's actually voting. Who's who we don't know. The chain of custody is a tremendous problem. In this election, there were a record number of dead people who voted. Perhaps next time the Trumpster can campaigning Spring Grove Cemetery, seemingly there's dead people voting all over the country. Imbalance in pristine condition without creases indicate that the ballots were not sent through the mail. Repeatedly have been indications. That 34 a. M. On the next day, November, the fourth The, uh, numbers of ballots cast for Biden when a three and four o'clock in the morning where two or 300,000 and the relevant states Trump received 5% or 1% of the vote and bind got 95 to 99% of the of the ballots I had on last night, the chairman The Georgia Republican Party who had pulled watchers everywhere about 10 P.m. and Fulton County. They were told to go home, They'll be no more counting of ballots. So the poll watchers went home. They then discovered through affidavits through dozens of defiance, who said they started counting ballots again about midnight and continued with three o'clock in the morning. That's when all of a sudden Georgia tip toward Biden and not toward Trump Now one last thing 23,000 absentee ballots late Arriving balance in Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania 23,000 absentee ballots have impossible postal return dates. And therefore 86,000 have such extraordinary return days. They raise serious questions. It was up to 100,000 ballots in Pennsylvania. Cannot be tracked back to the person who sent them in chaos. Mail in voting is a disaster for democracy. My source for that is Jimmy Carter. Who in 20 or five with James Baker put together a presidential type symposium in which they talked about ballot integrity. The number one problem is Jimmy Carter said that absentee voting Is rampant with fraud by by organized groups who want to game the system and in this time starting in the summertime Many, including Mark, Suck sucker. Berg put up $500 million in order to hire and train left his activist. And several states that were in play to make sure that Trump lost the election. $500 million Also a book was entitled A Citizen's Guide to defeating Donald Trump. And the author of That book was David Fluff who worked years with Barack Hussein. Obama. And he went to Mark Sucker, Bergen said. You want trump out of office. We can get it done. So for about 18 months period before the election, there was an organization taking place and those and those key battleground states that registered hundreds of thousands of new voters. Then encouraged the secretaries of states to make it easy to vote in contravention of what the Legislature required which incentivized fraud. Under the pretext of assisting election officials safe and secure elections in the age of Cove. It was used by nonprofit groups there with a staggering sum of $500 million. In order to encourage gaming the system to make sure that by November the fourth or fifth, Trump could not win because of mail in balloting. There were approximately 160 million votes cast. With Biden getting about 80 million allegedly and Trump getting about 74,000,100. There's still a couple. You're still about four or five million to count, Supposedly so 160,000,105 million were Cast before Election Day and the great majority those from mail in ballots. I have no objection. If you are. I want to go to Kent County, Boone County, Hamilton County, Warren County and stand in person. Days before the election. And actually show up is a living, breathing human being That's vertical with my idea and voting. The difficulty is mail in balloting. No one knows who's actually voting many times. There's no signature requirement or I d requirement. And then the the set the sanctity of the ballot. The chain of custody is very much in question. So as we sit here this afternoon looking to my right His rain and snow everywhere. Many of us have a severe opinion that the Trump victory was stolen from him by activists who.

What were some of the things that you did hear from from his mom Did she ever liked say crazy things to you? All right, But that day she told me to get out which was super embarrassing. And after that, when I became his girlfriend, he wanted to re introduce me to her, but I couldn't even look at her in the face. Right. She was looking at your face. So you know what I'm saying is, uh, that's crazy, man. And how long have you guys been together? That you snuck into his mom's house and smash that they had to hide in the closet. "But it was just a house where a bunch of this house so they dished up $500 fines. For these guys. For having a gathering over 10 people. And the guy said, all of us have already tested positive for Kobe. Yeah, just a weird story on many levels Strange, And I wonder, Will there be any repercussions from the school as well? Do you think they'll get double? They're like expelled or suspended or College issued a statement saying. We take these matters most seriously and students conf a suspension or dismissal for these types of violations. Pretty pretty bizarre scenario, by the way, it's a really weird town anyway, I'm trying to find out of you if you test positive for covert. If it shows up on your private eye was too and I can't find can't find anything on it either. Yeah, but it's really weird that got my attention for many reasons. Number one, Miami of Ohio Oxford, Ohio. 20 people in the house cops or busting people in houses that have more than 10. And then when they ask you for your I d it shows of you tested positive for covert. Apparently there. According to this, that's crazy, and this is from body cam footage. I'm the cop. Maybe the cop made it up. I don't know. I mean, maybe, but because he was trying to break up the party goes. Hey, you tested positive for Kobe and maybe Maybe somebody called and said, Hey, there's five people here that tested positive for Cove it they're throwing a party. With these crazy Ohio kids Grant. These wacky kids from Ohio. Well, I've seen some some pictures and videos from Ohio University where I went, and I'm sure it's this way around the country. But there does not seem to be too much social distancing going on amongst these kids, and by the way, Oxford you can have 32 beer. That's all they sound also is three, too. By the way, those six Miami University ants live in the House received side change. Citations, which includes a 505 500 are fine for each That's what we said. But that's but that's because They only had seven people there. 76 of them got fines, according to the story. I have. I know. They said there were 20 in the house. Oh, this one's is urgently. Seven house in this story may be a few on the porch, they said. Some people were sitting on the porch too. Which you're not allowed to do. It says six of the student who lived in the House received the fine because it was their house that people were around. They see the fine, but I'm not saying like It's weird. It seems like a fairly extreme measure by the Oxford police. But like I said small town Not a whole lot to do there. And this happened on a Saturday at four PM, by the way, really, and nobody not, and I haven't seen anything that said that they were loud or someone called the cops on him. He's gets right. Just cruising around going. Hey, look, people in the porch it says 10 were inside. This is kind of a weird story goes kind of back and forth. Out of Yeah, but you're right Grant people in that age group aren't that concerned? There's no doubt When you think back to when you were 20 like two years ago. Would you have been that concerned about it? Honestly, in college? No. Me neither. But let me throw this out there if they're somewhat isolated on a college campus Is this kind of how you get the bug out there and spread through the young people so we can build up an immunity to it. I mean, is it all bad? Where? Well, I have seen some epidemiologist say that this is how you get the herd immunity for the people that are less risk. These people are the lowest risk. Let them get it. And then that will help with the herd immunity. And if they're not going to go now to travel to see their parents and grand parents, I mean, this would be the time Not saying that is the answer. I mean, I'm as confused as anybody about this about how it works and how we're going to get through it. But that's how you do it, then. I mean it couldn't it may be a blessing in disguise. My daughter's air in their twenties and, you know, honestly, they don't. They're not real concerned about it. Either. Most people in that age group they just they're not worried about it on when you think back to when you were 22 23 years old. Were you worried about anything like this? You feel like you know you're immortal. You're invincible at that age, and you're not worried about getting sick. You're not worried about, you know, being in an accident. You know when you do a lot of dump stuff. I was worried about one thing at that time. Yeah, I know what that word smoking weed. I know. It was the other thing. Oh, so it wasn't smoking? We'd know it was worry about smoking weed. No, that's all us all. He was worried about. See that was that you missed the joke. I got you. Yeah, but drank. Got it. Yeah. Alright, So we're still waiting to hear if NASA in the governor will be announcing that there will be high school football here in Colorado. We're all cautiously optimistic. Same thing with the big 10. The big 10. The president met over the weekend, and apparently, they did not take a vote. Is what's being reported. But the plan is later this week, the presidents and chancellors of the 14 big 10 schools. We'll take a vote about putting the college football season back in play. Insiders are saying it will happen. And it could return within days. Some sports not football. It's going to take a little while to ramp up football. Jim Harbaugh, the Michigan coach, said he could do it in two weeks. Barry Alvarez, the Wisconsin 80 said they're ready to go in three weeks at the most. The most. Yes. So what are we mid September? You could see them in early October. That would be great. And that would be good pack 12. What are they going to do? They are reported to be in communication with the Big 10. They seem to be doing whatever the Big ten's got two D'oh. Which is so strange, which is very weird in a back seat to everyone you know, out of the power five conferences. It seems to be the power for nowadays. You know, that's You know, I should be saying that impact 12 country, But every window the Pac 12 just seems to be going going along with whatever the big 10 does, for whatever reason. But the big problem that they have Is nine of the schools or in Oregon, California Washington. Where they're not allowing. Kids on campus there, not allowing You know any type of games, although they did allow the Rams game? Yeah, that's ah, That's kind of an oxymoron. Really interesting. Let me take a real quick call Real quick. Pamuk Highlands Ranch went to Miami of Ohio. Pam. Hi. I did, and you're just a tiny bit older than me. So I'm current surprised about the whole dry county thing, because when I was there it was three to beer and I actually came from a 21 ST. And it was the two bear for 18. So it was like a banana. Actually, when I was there it was. It was three to beer, but they considered it a dry county. And at that age, he'll drink 32 beer like you don't care, whatever my husband from Italian Indiana nearby and we were back there this summer..

"Diego. Mostly cloudy 67 degrees Kogo Nears time is 7 52 It's time for news about your money with Sully and a lot of people silly denied credit cards during Cove. It Yeah, this is, uh, This is interesting, because ah, with the economic effects of the pandemic unfolding, millions of Americans are left unemployed, obviously, but credit card issuers air now mitigating their risk. They're pulling back on issuing new credit cards and cutting credit limits. What we talked about this about three weeks ago. The new numbers are out now, and the numbers or 2.3 new cards open per 100 people. That have applied. That's really low, very low. Yeah, they're like pulling it back, and by the way, it's not much fashion says four times higher Normally. Normally, there's about a 10% There's a 10% approval rate per application right because keep in mind, you know, this has been kind of this's been kind of a rough one over the last four months. So about 10% of new cars during the pandemic normally now it sounded 2%. And one of the reasons is that banks are being more stingy because they're worried about if you run up a credit card. How you gonna pay it back with No job, so discover financial services. Obviously, one credit card issuer has publicly said, We're offering less cards on. It's a result of us keeping our bottom lines because keep in mind. They're not making any money, either. So you probably have a higher chance of being denied a credit card versus a year ago, But there's a couple of things you can do it. I talked about this before. You can always ask to be reconsidered. Lenders have a dedicated phone line. Not sure if you knew this or not. But if you are denied a credit card, or even a credit increase, there is a dedicated line on every single credit card company that I researched. That will have, you know, let you talk to somebody. On DH reconsider, even if you've been rejected. Also, there's these things called Secure credit cards. You can open a secure line. You put up $500. I give you credit limit of $400. It's a way to establish credit if you don't have great credit, of course, working on your credit score. I am I am militant about. My credit score, and I've got a couple of APS personally when I was called my Fico, the other one's called Creditkarma. They don't do anything to improve your score, but but allows you to look at your scorn. If anything goes wrong, you get right on top of that, because If you look at your credit card, and there's there's an air mixed mixed in with it, it's it's important to fix it. Because if you've got a credit score below 600 right now, chances are you're not going to get a cardinal DowJones as the SNP are all now in the negative, but not by a lot. We're talking about 15 points on the Dow. That's 150.6% 27,000 won 85 s and P the same 33 21 the NASDAQ Absolutely even A 9 10,081 gold continues to climb up to 2066. That's the record. The reason markets are muted today is because we are in a wait and see here based upon what's going to go on in Congress, and that thing that's rhymes with stimulus. I think the words stimulus. Plastic Yeah. Come coming today 20. What's the latest with the U. S China trade relationship the other's way. I could have even more volatility to this and it's called China. I'll tell you about it coming up. Got it. Alright. Thank you very much Silly time now for extra 13 60 Fox Sports San Diego. "It's time to spend it right. Well, if you haven't saved enough to sustain your lifestyle after you retire in your income stops stops, what happens then? Well, this pandemic could provide a time to reset your spending and savings habits. This is a great time to check in on your financial plan. I've always said that I don't care what people spend their money on as long as they're paying attention to their savings rate, rather than focusing on the spending side, figure out how much you need to be saving to reach your goals if you're not putting enough away, both in retirement accounts at work or outside savings accounts, their IRAs or taxable brokerage accounts. It might be time to really assess how much is going out the door and this pandemic might give you the breathing room to do it since your discretionary spending is likely curtailed. Yes. And speaking of retirement accounts mid years, a good time to check in on those contributions that you're making. And here we're talking about your for one case for three. B's for 57 plans savings plan with the federal government. You know? Are you on track to hit your contribution goal Now the contribution limits went up. $500 in 2019 went up again another $500 this year, So the salary deferral limit is now $19,500. And for those individuals who are 50 year older Catch. A provisional also went up $500. So it's now at $6500. So if your fifth year older you can defer 27,000 into your retirement account and remember that you qualified to do the catch up if you turn 50 at any point during the year. Wow, 27,000. I remember when it was 10,000 for years and years. That really has increased. Doesn't seem that long ago that I know And remember that you can contribute to a traditional IRA or a Roth IRA. In addition to what you're contributing to it work, you just have to have earned income contribution limits for 2020 also increased $500. You can now contribute $6000. If you're 50 or older, you can contribute an additional 1000 for a total of seven Rob IRA contributions are limited by adjusted gross income amount. Anyone can contribute to a traditional IRA, regardless of income. It's the deductibility of traditional IRA contributions that's dependent on something you would want to talk to your tax advisor about For those of you with higher incomes. Maybe you've already maxed out your 41 k or you're getting close to doing so if your plan has the option, take a look at contributing to the after tax bucket. Of your four on K. Many plans have this option. And they also allow you to roll over the after tax account to a Roth IRA. It is a great way for higher income individuals to get a significant amount of money into a Roth account. Now, all plan documents are different, so you need to see what options are available in your plan. Now..
