"Florence y'all's. They recently introduced their new home jerseys like I mentioned powder, blue, white numbers, red shadows, and Y'all's and read with the cursive logo powder, blue hats with the Y in the star over the Y. and read bills. They have the red white red piping like the oldest, since registers, these did. The y'all's worked with. Since the funny thing to say the Florence Y'all's I still miss the freedom. I still miss the freedom name, but the all's. In case you don't know the story. It's based on the water tower that was supposed to be full of Florence Mall, but because the mall wasn't going to be built for another two years. You can't have advertisements for something that doesn't exist. Seem sensible. So. They took the mall and scraped off the outer legs and became Florence y'all. There you go, you almost learn something today. The new home jerseys spectacular. They also introduced a couple of alternative hats. y'All's is on. Want with red bill and a tri color white front. And Sky Blue in the back. The other one is sky blue. Bill the Y. Logo again on White Front. So. Yeah, go fly! Fall them at Florence underscore y'all's no apostrophe. You see these jerseys. You'll fall in love like I did. Last up. This has to do with the University Cincinnati. This is from Mike Dyer. University of Cincinnati acknowledges petition that seeks to change the name of Marge Schott Stadium. Logo History Time Marge Schott no her as being the GM of these Cincinnati reds and you might know that she wasn't the nicest to anyone that's. Was African. American or of the Jewish faith. Or Asian American And she had A. Thing for Adolf Hitler. I know that's absolutely disgusting. Also her Saint Bernard dog used to crap all over the place A. Riverfront! Are Synergy at the time. I guess actually was synergy was ninety six who cares? So yeah. Beautiful. Ballpark at UC. I was hoping to get a chance to announce a game there, but unfortunately all the times I got. Ud or Wright state, but beautiful ballpark. It's right off the main drag. It's by vine. It's it's wonderful. It's a wonderful field artificial turf. and lots of shade great press box. Once upon a time you see used to play at. What was it? Johnny Bench field. Also I should mention Mike Dyer tweed it, but he also got help with Reggie Wilson who used to be the sports director at. ABC Twenty Fox forty five up here in Dayton. So. Both of them worked on this article. The online petition seeking to change the name of UC's Baseball Stadium had seven thousand, five hundred eighty one online signatures at four forty five Tuesday. "Some have wondered the the connection. And obviously there is a connection between a head football coach and someone who is in a position like yours, would you would you explain it because so often strength and conditioning coaches, but first major hire a new head coach makes. Gee, is the strength and condition coach I is, is most often times the cornerstone of the football program. He is. He is the person that really when you look at it spends more time with the athlete than any other coach on the coaching staff and the I and m the strength and conditioning coach is just that he's a coach. He's paid the same as a coach is given the same authority, interchangeable with power as a coach and and privileges and rights there in as a coach and the athlete trainer. There's not. And you know, I had the fortune of working with some very good strength and conditioning specialists when I was at Maryland, Dwight Galt was there and, and you know beach and who was phenomenal. I worked with Pimm swagger, university Cincinnati meter, great strength and conditioning coach is that had a hand in hand relationship with the ethic training staff, and they worked as Kali. But there are instances and there are times when it's not quite that. That's not quite the case. And athletic trainers can be put in a position of, you know, intimidation or fear, or, you know, just basically he's a coach and you're not at the front of the bus, and you sit in the back of the bus. So you don't even sit in the bus, you riding in the sixteen passenger van. Let me let me ask you bring differentiate because I think this has been confusing. What a trainer does. And how that correlates to what the strength and conditioning coach does. Well, I mean the the, the certifying the role of the certified athletic trainer is to provide athletic training services, both preventative rehabilitative and acute care to the student athlete. You know, obviously everybody knows their trainers, you know, most notably standing on the sideline with a six pack, a Gatorade bottle squeezing water. But you know, from from five AM when the athletic training has to come in because there is a, you know, five and conditioning session, whether it's disciplinarian or scheduled, you know, to tape an ankles before practice to conducting.
