The chip maker plans to give up a new York Stock Exchange listing for its ADR's trading. His poise move to the over the counter market next month and another Chinese company r y be education has lost four point two percent. The operator of for profit schools was cut to the equivalent of south from hold at Morgan Stanley, Charlie. And we thank you very much, Dave Wilson following those American deposits. Terry receipts ADR's recapping stocks higher SNP up now by nine points. That's a gain of four tenths of one percent. I'm Charlie Pellett. And that is a Bloomberg business flash. Charlie President Trump announced a new sixteen billion dollar aid package for farmers at the White House yesterday. We're saving our farmers. And ranchers from ridiculous regulations. Also, in we're as of next week, we're sending some additional voiding of some really dumb regulations sunny that will make farming a lot easier. Lot better that raises to twenty eight million the total trade assistance, the US has announced for agriculture. Joining us is Michael hurt's, her Bloomberg news. Agriculture reporter, President Trump also said it's a good time to be a farmer. Is it? Michael. You know, that's a really interesting point for performers. It's been a very tough year. It's the latest they've ever been able to get their corn in the ground. The crop is like less than half halfway planted as of Sunday. So it's eh the adding that to the trade war with China. It's it's been a very difficult and uncertain time for farmers. What about the some people's contention that this extra money, risk distorting agricultural markets? That's the big fear is being catting money getting farmers money. They think that, that's an unfair support and could bring up a WTO complained that could skid exports going down the line. So they need the money to, to kind of stay afloat. But that also fears for trade implications. I watched an interview with the agriculture secretary yesterday who insisted that the money for this aid was coming from. The tariffs with China. We where is the money coming from. Well, it will be coming out of the USDA has a has a fund called the commodity credit corporation. It's a division that has pretty wide berth to, to disperse funding, how they see fit by providing financial assistance or buying crops. So the money will be coming out of their allocated will come from the treasury department and president and secretary Perdue did say that some of the, the money from the tariffs will perhaps the allocate it in that way. Do we know how at all that would work? Actually, I don't think we really do at this moment, I think, you know, treasury canal money to the USDA, and then the USDA can allocate the money to the CCC and then to CCC can do as edits. He fed. Is, is the president open to criticism that he's doing this to, you know, appease his rural base farmers in the twenty twenty elections. So, you know, the initial, you know, retaliation from China as the trade war kind of kicked off was targeted on these. Rural sectors. So in a sense, he's, he's trying to help those who are harmed by the trade war, and the tariffs set China imposed on the US was designed to, to do that. So I guess, in that sense. He he has to help those that are hurt by the trade war. And the president of the National Farmers Union, call this latest aid package, a short term fix for very long term problem. What does he mean by that again? It kind of goes back to the potential WTO complaints. If other other countries say that these, these financial payments are unfair support than than they could, you know, that the tariff war just kind of goes on, and they can put tariffs on imports, and then that makes the US less competitive and on and on. It goes, that's why a lot of the farm groups really just would really like for, for the entire trade war to go away. And, and for Tara's not to be to be used in that way. So. So largely due due former see this as, as a band-aid that the really won't take care of the underlying issue. Yeah. Really? I mean they need these, these monies to kind of get square, a lot of them are losing money, they've got rent to pay and chemicals and seeds to buy and tractors manage, and they need, they need some cash flow. When when prices are really low prices are actually surging today. Corn corn is at a nearly one year high of four dollars. Which which does help but they're also unable to plant their crop right now. So they've got some corn from last year still to, to sell and maybe take advantage at high prices. But ultimately, it's it's been a pretty rough, you know, series of four years or so that, that times have been tight, so they need money. But going forward that, that could help get it also hurt them. So Michael in the Bloomberg story. It says that the farmers were disagreed over how the aid package should be divided. We have about four or five seconds here. Did one one particular type of farmer win to the USDA told they said that they're not releasing specific crop-by-crop breakdowns, because they don't want to influence planting decisions. So those that details is unknown for now. Thank you so much. That's Michael hurt series of Bloomberg news. Agriculture reporter coming up on Bloomberg politics policy power in law, the esscalation of charges against Julian Assange. Does that mean that he will be extradited to the US over Sweden? But first, Bob moon is a check on world and national headlines. Bob tune. Thank you. The US will bolster its military presence in the Middle East. President Donald Trump made the announcement as he departed for a trip to.

What are some of the things that you can just tell us, give us a little insight about what you're doing with these new platforms? Because if you just if you have any customer relations technology, I guess you would just have to fall on personnel. That's such a digital world. We need to stress the travel lifestyle, and how do we make, how do we keep you inform? How do we keep you focused and directed when something goes wrong? A more importantly before you even leave your house, you know your plates on, you know where you're headed. So it was a whole host of communicate of issues and then back doors, things you don't see where untethering our folks from their work and being able to be in front and really focus will be making a lot of those announcements over the course of next year. We're really excited. It lands seems very strong, right? That's continues to be a place for for United to make some money now. No see around the world for us other than Latin America which has been. And it's it's kind of exciting to be able to have enough level of of money that we can reinvest and provide the service to our last question. Did you ever think would be like this when you came in? I have to tell you, I mean, that's talking to sixty that turbo videotape, obviously not to Paul could have gotten anybody, but did you ever think that you could be flushed running on time airline and getting so the customers back, you know what to say and these times and I had never had a doubt, but you know what you watch this before we've done this before. Different places. Got a great team. You get a focus and you get your veteran internal things, you know where you're headed, and you know one your with your best competitive acid. The BULLDOGS death, a tragic accident hand in a statement tonight, United says, we have learned that the customer Keith tell the flight attendant. There was talk in the carrier, however, flight attendant did not hail or under stunned and did not knowingly place the dog in the overhead bin. The family spoke to ABC news. The flight attendants came, she said, you have to put him up there because it's going to block the path. And we're like dog. It's a dog and she's like, it doesn't matter. You still have to put it up there and she just she hoped her put it up and she just closed like it was a baggage. She took him out in open the thing and she got the dog and he. Team day east, David, DOW Chemical controls if United, he'd been forcibly removed from the United flight which had been over independence, travel editor joins me. Now, what do we make of this? Well, exactly what the stock made of eight United continental holdings down two point, five, eight percent so doing even than Boeing and that that just shows that a ten month fringe Budak named Coquito. May he rest in peace can can have a really serious effect on the value of an airline. If we for the purposes of this question nets except that the flight attendant didn't know those a dog. In the back a, he said, she should discussion systemically is telling us about United that they've had these incidents, other outlines of them to remember. Yeah. Well, look, there are two million United passages a week. That means this too. Million Cianci's for United stuff to miss up those encounters clearly something horribly wrong. In this case. We will probably never know quite who said what when unsown, but it is very, very much the case that if you showed terrible case David down nearly a year ago, but I think this. Bowl fury about this event and the the, the sad consequence. Something systemically wrong, United, I think so. I mean. Every airline is under immense cost pressure. So therefore their customer service is not as good as it was maybe in the seventies when people were paying an absolute fool, she to fly and they enjoy the kind of glamour associated with it. Things just go wrong in aviation. Also today I learned that a great Dane that was supposed to being Kansas ended up in Japan. Shepherd ended up in Kansas on may also be the nationalities mixed up there, but things are gonna go wrong. Unfortunately, as you very good set-up, there showed people remember, but I'm going to people remember Simon, but they don't let it may influence that decisions. Look at this graphic. The of share prices because if you look at the share prices of that role pretty much coming in in lockstep that the big three and I'm an I venture to suggest why you're not kids have been lower than everybody else, but that loners that that red line Loa is because of a capacity issue and the over yield management not because of David Dowell that dose. And that is part of the problem that the big airlines are having to contend with. It's all about price, chill, shape, tools, important. But everybody is after a Dale when you go airlines, like spirit and frontier, who are muscling Ainhoa market saying, yeah, we'll give you a very, very basic economy product, and you can. You can bid up a bit from that, but there is intense competition. It's a great time to be a travel. It's terrible time to be a ten month old French bulldog. I've just got to sit silent is hair next week we call to next. I'm about to the Perth, London. Nonstop? Yes. The inaugural fight. I, I'm the two. I'm going to fly down to onto the old kangaroo route of nineteen forty, seven with seven. Is this the future? The ultra little hole. So no, we Jains the levels I G level is this the future. I didn't know that this route which is going to be nine thousand miles low, almost gets frightened. The world is is necessarily more than just a knee chore Qantas's looking at, can they do ten and a half thousand miles, which will be Sydney to London, we shall see. I know you've actually done the longest ever fly in the world which is ever taken place passenger aviation, which is Singapore to New York depends so much on the price of fuel. You carry an awful lot of jet fuel, just a few for later on in the journey, but enjoy it now meet you heat stroke because I'm taking the first. I was gonna say, I was I was looking for it.
