More drivers were taking the chain bridge into Virginia and its slow northbound of the George Washington Parkway toward the beltway, but it's also unusually slow southbound in the GW Parkway from Langley past one 23 with the likelihood of Elaine blocks south of chain bridge road, southbound. On the beltway through Maryland and Virginia, there is some congestion. It is certainly damp out there, but we haven't had any recent mishaps on four 95 on 29 from four corners to white oak. There was a crash near lockwood drive. They're getting that cleared off the left side. There is still a large police and medical response keeping that portion of Macarthur boulevard closed, keeping the cabin John Parkway closed and keeping traffic very slow. Westbound on the Clara Barton Parkway displacing a lot of drivers and putting more traffic on river road westbound toward and near the beltway. There is also a separate, unrelated closure of Macarthur boulevard because of emergency utility work at points between Glen echo and Brooke monster pretty tough in this part of Montgomery county. There's also more traffic using the George Washington Parkway to circumvent those closures as well. In Maryland and Virginia beltway traffic is wet, it is slow as getting foggier out there with the headlights on bringing back the speeds and giving yourself extra stopping room this evening. With the closure of the cabin John Parkway and the one lane union arch bridge above it. Macarthur boulevard also shut down for this ongoing police and medical response. This is having the effect of very much slowing down drivers outbound in the Clara Barton Parkway, but ethical and echo. Unable to access cabin John Parkway and head for the inter loop and instead squeezing onto that small cabin John access road off of Macarthur boulevard. But there is also a separate closure of Macarthur boulevard between Glen echo and brookmont and more specifically between haunting road and Maryland avenue. Outbound traffic on the east capital street, Whitney young, John Sousa in 11th street freeway bridges, all very heavy and slow to access or bypass D.C. two 95. There's also a pretty serious crash in Washington hospital center on Michigan avenue between a Harvard street and first street and at last report Michigan avenue was closed both ways. Also in brandywine, northbound on three O one near the branch avenue split had a broken down car in the center of the roadway. And that is leading to long delays outbound on the Clara Barton Parkway, drivers are not able to exit onto the cabin John Parkway and are squeezing onto the Macarthur boulevard access road at cabin John instead, a very narrow confined ramp. In addition to but unrelated to this closure, between Glen echo and brookmont, there is a separate closure of Macarthur boulevard for utility damage and repairs between while haunting road and Maryland avenue that stretch and Macarthur boulevard is also close. So there will be some work around on roads that are open like Goldsboro and river road and Massachusetts avenue the longer this goes on. On the interloop of the beltway, it is routine volume delays through Montgomery county, but it is slowest in prince Georgia's county, southbound on the ITER loop through landover at a rate of drive the crash response is blocking the left lane. There is also another wider swath of Macarthur boulevard that's been closed all day long for an unrelated issue farther back closer to D.C., so just avoiding Macarthur boulevard altogether and expecting the longer this goes on more and more in the form of congested workaround. There's also a big issue in D.C.. It's the car fire that's been put out, but on D.C. two 95, we are jammed badly from the 6 95 southeast southwest freeway into northeast on two 95 near bening road where it caught on fire, traffic was stopped, now getting by single file to the left, slowly, northbound on D.C. two 95. Outbound from three 95, the tunnels toward Virginia, the crash at the 14th street bridge was minor. It's out of the way. Three 95 southbound slow and separate stretches down to Springfield, and on 95 south into woodbridge. I 66, westbound heavy near the fairfax exits, but slowest beyond the centerville exits. The crash is westbound beyond route 29 exit 52 and state police were blocking the left side of the main lanes. But now with fire rescue on scene, all traffic in the main lanes is held. Westbound on 66, which means for the moment, the only drivers that are getting by are using an easy pass in the 66 express lanes, both of those are open for the toll if your solo. I'm David, WTO
