As they own the world's largest recreational vehicle dealerships. Bill Mary, and I welcome you back to the program. I have to say you've developed a bit of a following amongst our audience across the country as we heard from a few people over the last couple of weeks wanting to know when we're going to have you back on America's number one travel radio show. That's great to hear on. Hello again. Robert Mary. Thanks for having me on again. Great to have you back on the show with your first question. I'll just ask. You have been a lot going on out there. Askew. No in the world keeps saying we're in the upside down world. Things changed a lot for us 12 weeks ago. I know you have a number of locations across the country We've seen this week a lot of unfortunate unrest going on. But really, how are things at your locations and the other centers that you have across the country? Yeah, Way recently announced earnings and And as we said back, then, business really fell off a cliff in mid March on DH stayed there for about four weeks. And then something happened in mid April. And business just exploded and has been strong ever since then, and that's consistent across pretty much all of our dealerships. Robert Mary, so So we're feeling really good about this right now. All right. Good to hear. Nice to start off with some good news. Bill s O. Robert and I have been speaking with, you know different leaders from various sectors of the travel world over the past 12 weeks on this show, basically, since the virus outbreak shutdown so much of our country, and we've checked in with both R V, A and K O a Since you do work with many of the top manufacturers and service all kinds of shapes and sizes of RVs and campers. What do you seen in terms of demand for the vehicles and in the support services that go along with him? Yes, There's two sort of trends we're seeing. Right now. We're seeing more new entrance into the market. So I think people who because of the pandemic have become more interested in the RV vice style. We're seeing more new entrance. And the newer entrance or looking for either lower price, new product or used product. So we're just seeing a little bit of more movement towards maybe maybe a little more towards Tobel and and in all categories towards used and lower price product. That's interesting. I'll shift things a little bit with Don't say, You know when it comes to travel. Mary and I feel that we have a certain responsibility to all of our show fans across the country as well as the 415 plus stations that air this programme and our many sponsors that supporters really toe lead like we always have. And I sure that because we're working to create what we're calling the Let's go America tour that hopefully will allow us to responsibly travel and enticed others to do the same. We've been saying on air since mid March. That travel we believe will be mostly domestic. This year. It's tough when you can't fly to Europe to go plan. Obviously, it's not going to include more driving trips, whether it's for business or leisure. And our Let's go America tour that we're looking at could easily be done over a two or three week period as an RV trip departs the country and also allows to broadcast from certain places. I really want to know. Since the Recreational Vehicle Industry Association and Lazy Days RV is uniquely positioned to allow people to travel while also social distancing. What are some things that you personally recommend people listening that You know, may want to travel via an RV this year, and maybe regardless of whatever unit they're looking at a couple important accessories that you would recommend them. Important accessories. Well, you've gotta have. You've gotta have some satellite. I think just in case you want to have a wife, I, but I think most people You are enjoying time away from sort of the social media and WiFi. So I think we're seeing some families were looking at the RV lifestyle is an opportunity to Ah, uh, D connect from some of the electronic things that are in our hands. Um, you know, we have beautiful beaches in this country. We have beautiful national forests and national parks and state parks and state for us on DH. I would really encourage people Teo to take advantage of them. And that's the beauty of the RV lifestyle is you, Khun, Go! See all these wonderful places and multiple places at a time and whether you're in a total product or motor home product. It's a wonderful, wonderful experience. Keep in mind that some of the national parks to limit the size of the RV that you could bring into the park so and anybody at lazy days can help with. Ah, people figure out what what size they can have. If they're going to visit some of the national parks, OK, if you're just tuning in

Singapore GE2020: Global concerns, national elections
"One of the things we're gonna be covering is the Singapore elections coming up July 10th and for a closer look at what's happening and why it's so important. For that we go to Bloomberg. Daybreak Asia host Brian Curtis in Hong Kong and his colleague Doug Prisoner. Thank you. Now, one of the exciting possibilities for the pole is no more. The estranged brother of Singapore's prime minister will not stand. Lisa and Young said he decided to step aside because quote Singapore. It does not need another league. Well, that said Brian Singapore will surely get another early Prime Minister Lee Shin loans People's Action Party has won every election since independence back in 1965 and that is not likely to change this year. It's going to be very interesting and one point Whether or not these results will reflect the P a piece handling of the covert 19 crisis to get some insight. Brian and I asked Bloomberg's the bureau chief in Singapore, Joyce Co. To join us. Thanks so much for being with us, Joyce. I guess. Let's pick up on that issue of the fact that there is unlikely to be any surprise outcome in the election. But the question is whether or not this is going to reflect in anyway. Voter sentiment on the prime minister's Handling of the crisis. What do you think? Hi. Hi, guys. Yeah, that's right. Reading something awful way election has kicked off into losing so long has Put the nation that this will be election like no other And that's because this is happening in the midst of the pandemic, and he's asked for the elections to be be called because he wants a fresh slate. He thinks that things have stabilized and it's a good time, too. To get to hold this post to get a good men date for the ruling party we've seen over the last few months and sing upon the government has really tried to get control of the crisis. I's been interesting journey is a lot of ups and downs to sing off over here. So we set it up. Well, we We held out the model of how to contain the virus, but against like many other countries who cut also by how contagious and asymptomatic the virus who are still Somewhere in April with various cases such in a foreign worker Dhamma trees with a lot of these farm workers stay and live in close quarters, and that has actually pushed the surgeon does that. Our workers has actually pushed all virus told the various cases in Singapore to more than 40,000 which is one of the highest in Asia, the government has said. Repeatedly that, um the cases have been so high because they're doing a lot of testing, and a lot of these people have been asymptomatic. If you look at the total cases, actually. About 0.5% of the people actually in hospitals, and we have one of the lowest fatality rate in the world. I think a lot of people really admire Singapore. It's it's AH, It's a place where Have a first rate health care system. It's one of the richest countries in the world, great schools and all that. And a pretty good social safety. That too, so other than the handling of the Corona virus outbreak. What are some of the key issues that really move the populace? I think the main thing for a lot of people would be the economic fallout and how the government would be dealing of it. We've heard a lot of about this being said during the during the run up to the election. Something about facing a contraction of as much as 7% this year, and this would be the list contractions since our independence in 1965. So it's AH It's a big blow to the economy for people for us, so I used to be a success and be thankful girl continuously every year. It is a quite scary dudes that the economy would be contracting so much. If the government off their shows have won that more businesses local Glenda that unemployment rate in Singapore could could hit a record this year. So the grim picture actually off the economics in Singapore, some of the economic analysis that has been done surrounding the economic fall out of the crisis. Comes away with a conclusion that is essentially created a greater wealth gap. And I'm wondering how that's playing out in Singapore. I was reading that over 80% of the population live. In public housing, and I'm wondering about how this may may figure into this election. Well, we've had for stimulus budget in about 100 days in Singapore this year and the Singapore Sending about Singapore dollars 100 billion almost 100 million to to try to prop up the economy and still for a lot of people who find themselves other jobs or businesses who are ah Facing lots of troubles. We're seeing the government giving up the direct cash handouts, which is pretty rare onto people. So blessing apartments like me. We get $600 count. India had 303 $100.
U.S. Unemployment Rate Fell to 11.1% in June
"Report, released this week went beyond expectations, with the unemployment rate falling to just above 11%. But not everyone gets to see that silver lining for more case. CBS's Jennifer Hodges spoke with George No. Chetty. Morgan Stanley Financial adviser. Did these numbers mean that the economy is Ah, I guess you could say, roaring back or now. Well 4.8 million jobs reported is an historic record. We have never had that much job growth in one moment and the part of month we're up over two million, so you take the two months together, and it looks like a V shaped recovery. Very quick Recession. And a very quick uptick even though we're not there yet we are increasing and adding ah, number of jobs. But the unemployment rate, which is interesting, also has fallen to about 11%. That's really good, down from about 19%. However, the recovery has really been uneven, especially for people of color it's been and even the white unemployment rate is about 10% and the black unemployment rate is 15% so we still have a big big disparity. I'm really high unemployment in the areas of people of color. Who else has affected in terms of those differences like you mentioned as faras that not being even across the board anyone else that's or any sector if you will, That's kind of unusually still hit hard. The first group that's really been hit by this are the hourly workers and people with lower pay. Those are the ones that have been first in this in this recession. And so they have really struggled the most. But if you look at sectors if you look restaurants And hospitality That's been the largest hit and so in this job's report, they're the ones that have come back first to some extent, about 740,000 new jobs created on the retail side. Education and health services have added about 568,000 last month Manufacturing, which is good added about 365,000 but we still have a lot of people that are on unemployment. But if the jobs keep kicking up, that'll be good. Now the only thing that will hurt us in terms of adding more people to the job roles will be covert 19. That's really the wild card here. If the numbers keep increasing That will double delay consumer confidence people getting out there wanting to shop money to buy things more people will will not get jobs because of that, so we really have to manage covert 19. And make sure that we're you know, we're in a mask, washing her hands and distancing ourselves so that we could get people back to work and get the economy going. I can't remember George, where I read it yesterday, But I read a piece yesterday talking about unemployment, and they were saying that Ah Things were starting to improve, but that more and more people are losing jobs permanently like so a lot of furloughed people are finding that they're going back. But there are quite a few people that are losing their jobs permanently. That's true in a post Kobe 19 environment, Uh, work is different jobs as we know that are really changing right now and so. Some of the jobs Aaron transition there reinventing themselves. Um, but more people are coming back to work and jobs will change and that'll create other opportunities as we go forward. But right now, after jobs fell off a cliff in the middle of February, we're seeing a big uptick in jobs being created. So that's all good. But this recession will take time We're looking at. Probably not until 2021 that we start to see employment numbers, you know, really, really come down not to where they were. Probably in the 56% range down from the 11% right now. That's George No Chetty. Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor, a
New York Yankees, Mets Return To The Ballpark As 2020 MLB Season Preparation Begins
"And despite hand Stander Tizer in the outfield and zoom meetings before practice, you met manager Louis Ross felt everything was pretty smooth. Wants me in the field. It was almost like can I mean we're out there? We're maintaining our distance is on. But you know once when they started when, during ball around and BP that we saw there She's excited to see the ball coming up, you know, felt a very normal you off for the Yankees players back on the field. It leads to the first question about players help. Of course, First up is Aaron Judge. This was Aaron Boone with Joe in heaven Right here on the fan. The rest was critical to Faras, allowing that that bone to heal and, um so I would say for him, it's been a really productive couple of months of of getting to the point now where he's really ready to ramp it up, while the total test for covert 19 and baseball was 3185 people There were 38 positive test. 31 of those players, seven were staff members knew on that surprise. Major League Baseball officially canceled this year's All Star game was scheduled for Dodger Stadium will host the event 2022. NBA PACERS. Victor
Tuition Price Resets in the Age of the COVID Recession
"Pandemic has accelerated a years long shift in bargaining power away from colleges and toward families. Which are quite prepared to treat tuition as they would a car's price, something toe haggle over. Here's this weekend's Jennifer Cash Enka When it comes to higher education, bargaining power, is shifting away from colleges and universities and toured families. Josh Mitchell has written about the shift for the Wall Street Journal and joins us now. Josh, What did you find out about tuition, while the pandemic has given families more leverage to bargain for tuition discounts when they are getting their offers from from schools. This was actually a trend that had Ah been going on before the pandemic. So this is a Preexisting friend that the pandemic has accelerated, But basically, schools are in a tight position. Right now. They Are expecting a possible enrollment decline. You know 11 reason, for example, is fewer international students are going to be going to school next year. On DH, You know, families are more price conscious. They've either lost jobs or their businesses of fan businesses. Their businesses have Um, been hurt by the pandemic. And so right now, you have this normal negotiation process that happens to clean family school and family find themselves in a better position now. Teo Archy for reduced to tuition. Josh, we talking about mostly private schools, or does this encompass, um public universities as well? But we are talking mostly about private schools, but this type of negotiation process is increasingly happening. At public schools and the context here is that For years and years. Uh, mostly private schools have turned to consultants to determine how much parents are are able and willing to pay. And so one of the things that's been happening for a while now is schools will collect a lot of data data on perspective. Students. Um this data includes, you know, sex race Where where they live. You know the exact address of where they live, whether their parents are college graduates or not, And this is in addition to what there. S a T scores are and what their high school deepa is. And then they send that data to consultants. You think crunched the numbers and come up with an algorithm to determine how much the next year's class will be willing to pay. And this is how schools for awhile now, particularly private schools have have come up with individual discounts for different students to again extract the most money they can. They're trying to figure out how willing How able you are to pay public colleges are now getting into this because public colleges you know, some of them are struggling, and so they need to figure out You know, how can they extract the most money from the next year's freshman class on DH? The schools will say, Look, this is not just for us to, you know, make money. This is also for us to determine You know which students need the most financial aid, But there's you know, several things going on here. They do want obviously maximize the money they're making. And they also want to determine how to help students that need help. The most. We're speaking with Josh Mitchell, The Wall Street Journal, Josh. Obviously, things air rather chaotic in the world right now, including what will happen in the fall or even in August, when colleges open up again. How far are families going and deciding or not deciding to enroll? Also, that's a good question, because one of the things that's going on this year there was a a consent decree between the Justice Department and one of the main trade groups for colleges that was signed. Late last year, and basically that consent decree said that colleges are now able to recruit students beyond May 1. There used to be this hard deadline where if a student had committed to a school, then other competing schools could not dangle offers, if it was beyond may want will that That industry rule has now been scrapped. Which means there are a lot of students who have even right now have not committed to a school where in prior years they would have done so by now. And so you're seeing a lot of bargaining and negotiation. Between families and schools go on far later in the year, then we would see in prior years and you know, some of the consultants for these families that I'd talk to, you know, are saying this could go on for another few months? Because I think there is a lot of uncertainty, and I think you know families. Not only are they trying to bargain lower tuition, they're also trying to decide whether they're going And there Kids to score whether they're adult Children are going to go to school. Given that they don't know if they're campus. Is there going to be open? They don't know what the experience is going to be like, so there is still a lot of uncertainty.
Chicago - Are Travel Restrictions Coming Or Going To COVID-19 Hot Spots Effective?
"The summer travel season should be humming along right now before the pandemic hit the travel and hospitality industry expecting strong earnings since at the time, unemployment was so low and wages were so high a perfect scenario for vacationers to explore the country. But now as we hear from ABC is Ryan Burrow, the entire city of Chicago is off limits to many travelers, and Ryan joins us on the coma News line. Ryan How does the Chicago travel restriction working? Will people from Washington State be impacted? You know, it's interesting. We got this note of the emergency travel ordered issued by the city of Chicago late afternoon yesterday after the mayor had already spoken about Fourth of July plans encouraging people not to gather encouraging bars and restaurants to remain at their capacity restrictions and not Get loose with things because trouble's been doing very well in recent months as Faras keeping the numbers down, the state of Illinois has as a whole, but we got this notice. 15 states are on this list, and what the order calls for is a 14 day quarantine if any Chicago resident were to go to one of these 15 states. They include Florida, Georgia, Arizona, California, Texas all of these hot spots if they're to come back to Chicago. They need to quarantine for 14 days before they could go back out into the general publican. Likewise, if someone from one of these states comes to Chicago, they don't want to walk in the streets. They want him to quarantine, which obviously doesn't make for a very fun vacation. If that's why you're in Chicago, you know. Is there something unique, at least from my perspective about Chicago compared to other, you know, really big cities across the nation and its the giant, huh? Before air travel. Are people gonna have to quarantine before they can make connecting flights or or does that even matter? At this point, that's a great question. We don't exactly know how this will be enforced in one form or another. Is this going to be checked when someone arrives at the airport doesn't go into effect until Monday. My belief is this is probably going to be on the honor system encouraging people look, especially if you're Traveling from one of these states. We need you to stay put because we don't want to spread this virus any further. But if you are caught, and it turns out that you were in Texas, or you were in Florida or Utah, and you've come back to Chicago within two weeks, and perhaps you come down with cold, Maggie. Well, maybe there will be a fine levied against you. It's a really high stakes weekend for infection trends is, you know what has Chicago done well to be in such a good situation where At least locals are relatively safe. It's been a very slow, gradual opening bunch to the frustration of a lot of businesses, especially restaurants, who had struggled just last week earlier this week. This month, I should say, um, well, I guess we're in July now. But just a few weeks ago, the city finally opened up. Restaurants to outdoor eating, and then finally loosen some restrictions. Very limited, indoor eating. It's been very frustrating, and people have wanted to move quicker, but in the numbers, we've seen a significant decrease in the number of cases and whereas all of these other states seem to be flaring up, Chicago and Illinois seem to be pretty well. A disease Ryan Burrow with us on Coma News, Ryan thank you very much and have a good Fourth of July
‘The Outpost’: A War Film Remembers the Fallen
"There's a lot of talk about this film That's based on a book that was written by Jake Tapper called the Outpost and the Holy Moly. I mean, for those of us looking for a molecular altering war drama in this age of sheltering in place. Isn't this movie The outpost? It's an Afghanistan war drama film directed by the always reliable and former film critic Rod Laurie. And, as you said, Based on the 2012 nonfiction book, The Outpost and Untold Story of American Valor by Jake Tapper. And It's about the Battle of Cam Desh, which I knew nothing about which happened in 2009 in northern Afghanistan when 300 Taliban attacked the American outpost, Keating Which was built in a remote valley that was completely surrounded by the Hindu Kush mountains. And this was one of several outposts that the I learned this from watching. The movie is one of several outposts of the US Army established in 2006 in northern Afghanistan, whose purpose was to connect with the locals and stop the flow of weapons and Taliban fighters from Pakistan. So, but this outpost was literally at low ground. It was surrounded by mountains, so in a way the American soldiers who were stationed there We're sitting ducks for the Taliban. In fact, as the movie says, in the beginning of one analyst maintains that this particular outpost must might just as well have been called Camp Custer because everyone at the outpost was probably going to die. So at least you the viewer right from the get go because they Tell you a lot of this. In the beginning, you know the kind of war story you're going to be in for and what's going to follow, and this movie was anti war and anti war movies. They come very powerful, very visceral, very intense. And in one sense, it's nothing we haven't seen before. When I was watching it. I thought of movies like Paths of Glory in all quiet on the western Front of Gallipoli. But that doesn't take away from the fact that from the You know this story and the power and the intensity of what is an extremely well crafted and well acted movie. In a way it's torturing us having to sit through. This is kind of like Black Hawk down. It kind of reminded me of that, too, because you know, it ain't going to turn out well for these soldiers. There's a slow burning build up and the seeds are slowly sewn to a build up of what amounts to a 45 on screen. Massacre, but it's awfully good. I mean this movie if you have the stomach for it, and it brings, you know brings with it. A message seems to have to repeat it constantly and books and in movies and in history books you know before humanity decides it wants nothing more to do with wars and alternative. The conflict. It's It's a powerful anti war statement that says war is Hell. War's pointless wars. Ridiculous and you know, but we seem to Be constantly involved in them. And anyway, the movie was scheduled to premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival this year, but it was canceled because of the cove it on 19 pandemic, But it's going to be released via video undermanned beginning today. So happy for the July everybody, holy cows. We put you through the wringer. You know, it's funny to remember you were you were talking earlier We were talking What? We have been talking about this about missing the big screen experience. Yes, yes and When this When this length came to review, there was a letter attached to it. I'm sure everybody got this all the critics, but I just wanted to read because the cracks because, Hey, hey, this is Rob Laurie, the director of the outpost. I am excited. You're going to be one of the first people to see our film, on the other hand is, I am sure doesn't surprise you. It's a bit of a bummer that I am unable to show this to you. The way was originally intended on the big ass screen with the full visual scope and sound every inch of this film was designed to make it a fully immersive experience. Dance boy Waas mean I even on the small screen. It was particularly the battle, which takes up the second half of the film. So from the person who made this film to a fellow film lover, I would ask you to please try and replicate the theater experience as much as possible. And by that, I mean that you watched the movie and a single uninterrupted way and on the largest possible screen with the best multi channel sound system you have available. Please take care to watch it in a darkened room with appropriate minimal theater lighting is there are a few nights Seems that may get lost otherwise, and on a technical note, I would kindly ask that you make sure the streaming player is set to stream at 11080 p or better this will ensure the best possible picture within the limitations of the player. Multiple Arizona gyms defy executive order to close
"Corona virus in Arizona, Today's executive order will pause the operation of bars, gyms, movie theaters, water parks and tubing with a targeted reopening date. In 30 days like the governor used the word pause, which sounds better than I'm shutting these suckers down right? But that order on Monday set off what could be a flurry of lawsuits. We've already seen. One lawsuit filed against The state of Arizona in the governor. Of course, that's from mountainside, fitness and this injury. So here's how it played out for one mountainside fitness location yesterday, Scottsdale police tell our TV partners at ABC 15 that a little before 10 a.m. After receiving multiple reports of the location near 114th Street and Shay Was open officers showed up and provided education. They were told at that time by management that the location would remain open. They did. And when officers came back in the afternoon, they issued a citation to mountainsides. Chief operating officer A citation for a class one misdemeanor, which could mean a fine of up to 2500 bucks and possible jail time. You know, I'm guessing $2500 might really be a drop in the bucket to what they might face losses for being closed. Right. So maybe they're rolling the dice on that one hears mountainside Mountainside CEO Tom Hatton after several of his locations received the same. We don't feel this decision was fair. We think it was extremely arbitrary. It was placating to trying to look like we're doing something for Kobe and not really doing something prick owed. If the problem Um, is this serious? But they weren't alone. By the way, it's staying open. I'm seeing live shots on my monitors this morning in the studio Life time fitness facility in the valley. Apparently, there are several franchises that are staying open. Yeah. People working out you get. Ah Ah, are partners over at ABC, 15 had actually a live shot into the mountainside fitness location. That's near 56. And Shay and you could actually see people in their working out. They have resumed in individual people on, you know, ah, the treadmills and lifting weights and stuff. Yeah. Orange Theory said they're going to stay open. Pure bar A. Which is, you know, one of those bar workout ballerina? Yeah, yeah, not like a bar like they're serving drinks valet. Good Morning yes So I've been working at the coordinates for the past five years This was my first year managing So it's a seasonal thing that starts in September ends at the end of October very family friendly event Heard Billy talking about how core macy's were scary on Fridays too tomorrow. It they do seem scare. You have to admit that Michael Well if you're thinking like Stephen King in terms of children of the corn yeah can kind of get it or like cornfields unsealed alien signs idea. Yes however the corner I work at is not necessarily not scary. There is a moonlight version of it where people people pay to go into. May's They bring their flashlights. They do. It's like a little scavenger hunt part of the way there. It's about two acres big or nothing to really be scary about sells else various. Listen to me Michael. That's exactly what you say to lure people into a corn maze and scare the bejesus out of. I mean there's no S- characters there billy. Yeah I mean you can you can come to yourself I can. What is this character? What I'm saying like you already know these things I don't even know about? I'm afraid I like cools and like just animals that are riding the corn and like just getting lost and dying there and now you're talking about Scherzer's well. Haven't you ever been to like Halloween horror nights or anything like that yet doing that. 'cause I was scared but it's not here I mean there's where's this is a very It is in New York York Long Island area between the border of Queens and long island a little Mac Floral Park areas may be familiar with any of these there. It's not just New York. This is something that you walk into. And there's only one correct way to get through it. No not necessarily so We give you like rules like how to go about right because it's part may spark part scavenger hike if you want to try to look for the pieces of the map to the maze. You can do that if you just want to go for the maze. Just to go for Sommese can do that as well. It's completely up to you. Just that varies on like how long it takes that actually go through the maze in general. Yeah this sounds scary. No I'm telling you the only ruin you go through major. Be Get out alive porn. Me and this guy has his own rules trying to trap people with his scare. Michael and by the way I I don't believe that you can grow corn in New York. Can you is. You're actually learning this. I since he opened his mouth. I thought this was a faecal really in a yeah I just thought it was a phoney Bologna the red nose and we need amaze expert and this guy. Jos Google a couple of things your name even Michael and he's faking it. It is Michael I do you manage a coordinators corn mazes instagram page Okay doesn't have an instagram attraction. Attraction doesn't have an instagram page. It it's at the location of the Queens County Farm Museum or Museum Louise Scary but okay okay. Well I mean he researched a real place. Actually a thing. Okay I think Gel checks out but it did take me just as quickly to Google. That would him if you'd like come next year when the Maze Ryokans again visit. That's what I was going to ask you because it doesn't seem like it's is corn season like I didn't know number one that you grew corn in New York and number two. I didn't know what the season would be. But it's winter up when I can not growing corn now when when I entered the corn maize do I go right or left. Okay so Half check out to me guys. I think I'm may explain cheese please. I'm with you cut me off around. Everyone's a little test here. Everyone just needs a breeze. Roy Motion Rona. How about being going on on that should require this sort of angry reaction? What I'm sorry? What do what do I do? I make a left. So come and belief is normally you would make a left and just keep going left as you go into the the maze that is designed for US normally You don't necessarily have to go left. There is a sign that directly points you to go to if you want collect. You don't have to go left. Go right and then Do whatever you like but usually People just try to make their own way just like we try to guide people out because the people that work at the Maze WanNa go home to and the night so we just usually say go go this way Or hugged hugged the left side of the wall at a certain point depending on where you are in the maze but at the start of the Mason. You don't immediately go left. How do you always go left if you WANNA go like the entire your Pathway Journey of the base. How do you design a corn maze? Like how do you settle on what you want it to look like so My boss us the producer that works alongside with the farm they Have like an agreement of like went to grow the corn. They usually the corner around springtime time and the Spring and springtime gang of summertime So that they can start Cultivating pass for it And each year. There's like a certain theme to do it so like my first year. was the year that American Farrell had just won a triple crown so the maze was in the shape of a jockey riding a horse year. Its shape of an apple. The shape of a can This year in the shape of the unisphere the the being monument of Earth Steph in Queens and Flushing Meadows Park near the USO can every year. That's like a no no can do the work. You need to go to the bathroom for them. And how are you on the field around. How's that this was like in the con- they were in the concord. I didn't really see anything in that game. Even though they ended up winning that would really change my mind. I kind of felt like a miami team that went into that game on ranked. <hes> probably blew the game more out of the two teams even both even though both teams tried to blow the game. Manny diaz says no moral victories here. He says it will never be acceptable for u._m. To lose to florida i mean it's good and here's here's one of the things before we get back to merced abby my my the biggest thing that encouraged me honestly outside of the quarterback and surviving ten sacks and not really turning the ball over even though we recover two of the fumbles <hes> pass pressure like that creates all sorts of chaos so good job by darren williams but what i really really came away impressed with was the fact that after that fake punt and that touchdown which could area's tony breaks all these tackles and that just this feels like old miami all over again then florida's charge driving down and you're like okay this is this is gonna get ugly. This feels exactly the way the l._s._u. Game went for miami to get turnover for paget to get it and hang around in that game because look they got the turnover. After franks hits at great deep throw old miami packs at in and miami checks out that is an absolute boat race and for miami to say in the face of a adversity again number eight team against a rival against society that was majority gators fans. I came away really impressed with the fact that miami didn't back down and had an opportunity to win that game late back to merced abby. I what's up. Did you have bad experience trying to get into that stadium because outside of the game we we got pretty smooth <hes> getting out how about that apocalyptic situation stood upon the people that was crazy. We walked to this high school whereas uber pick up. There's just i don't even know thousand people just standing. There can't get newburgh. We walked all the way to amway center from they. Luckily we knew someone downtown. We snuck out with a rise outta duper but let's my god. It was crazy out there. I think what the people really want to know is. What was your night like. After the game i'll do well. It's more intensive what the game was before because we went. We had airbnb and you know. Things got a little in pants. I'm in the car tax my buddy. He's saying hey. Are you gonna wear those glasses ashes because i need them. I can't like i need him. I can't live without him. I was losing it but you know it was kinda. Crazy things got intense and then the game starts that that fake punt not that crazy in my friend. She says you need to calm down so i apologize doing behind me so then from that moment on i was just kind of kind of intensity watching the game some notes note the note that are really really hard to decipher kind of inappropriate. I don't really know what i on the air with. Wait hold on before we get. The notes rewind for just one second blues at some point. Shut certain times of the game never did and i. I mean this officiating. I mean crazy on both sides but it is what it is i mean. Can you do craziness. I mean i thought for sure d._j. A lot of people are talking about the officiating. I guess it's week zero city officials to yeah the the the one that bothered me most because any of the <hes> i'm happy they picked up the flag honestly on the brian jordan one. I understand taking the flag up considering the to pass interference that led up to that. I thought the other two were legit pass interferences. I like the no call there on that bridge. Jordan won the won in the end zone. Yeah the one in the end zone. Even there was contact. They're considering the way that the game had gone. I feel like what was happening. You did not pick up like year like to be beside pick up by the i swear to god i swear to god solid big. I mean i understand why you'd say that. Mike i think with hindsight maybe look back at it and said it was a good call billionaire just wondering in a moment the moment i was i was like i said they're probably gonna pick that one up okay <hes> there were a couple. I thought they were going to pick up the the second p._i. That they caught him at drive to so i was surprised at that one because i was like they had already extended drive with even though he was a good pass interference by florida because we had them pretty dead to rights on that play the one that bothered me the most was the obvious false start everyone in the building even florida fans sort of had thrown the arms up thinking that play was lost. He was playing as data everybody. I don't understand that one stood no i don't i don't get really anything about that game. <hes> kind of perfect for that rivalry the rivalry makes no sense and get a weird game but <hes> i mean for well. No no line no order to the line with a son in our faces next to florida fans and hurricanes fans people right up against each other if the heat stroke isn't gonna get you the physical altercations are i myself didn't see any fights. I stopped one from happening and it was all a 'cause. It was all caused by just the setup and then when i finally get past this line they don't scan my ticket. They don't scan anybody's ticket literally anyone. Could i show show my tickets at a gun. I show my ticket. Her scanners not working. She says go through when i finally get to my seats and i share this frustration with everybody else. It's they're. They're like yeah. They didn't scan or tickets. They didn't scanner tickets at all so camping world stadium which is owned by the city of orlando and i've never understood why they don't put a bunch of money into the stadium because considering the hotels the fact that they're equipped to handle large scale events at least. I thought they were if you put money into that stadium and you actually have your bleep together together. You can host super bowls as a neutral site city. You could absolutely do that. It is a amazing to me that you don't do that also post game. This was it was fun. Traffic jams insane trying to get a newburgh good luck. It's two hundred dollars right trying to try to call her caddie supposed to do no. No no no no. No i mean that's the heady play by uber. You're supposed to ramp up. The price for the event was too hot. Newborns were expense well. No no no the stadiums of all this. The bottleneck is the stadiums fault yes. Yes i agree with mike on that. They're not gonna it's florida. In august. I understand it's hot and the uber situation okay. It is what it is people that i was with were actually actually lucky enough to get an uber. They got to their house and kasumi two and a half hours out the game. I did too because i was like okay. It's two hundred dollars right here next to the stadium. Let me walk like a little bit. Let me call a cab. Let me try to do all these creative. Things walk two miles and i ended up paying one hundred and forty two dollars for an uber two hours after the game aim two miles away from the stadium. Yes i mean you get rod. Yes absolute nightmare a hundred and forty dollars yeah two hours after the game two hours at two miles away from the stadium. Definitely the stadiums fault man so that means. There's probably hundreds of people that just got in or you think bottleneck probably had a ticket because they weren't aware of the fact that unscom tickets. I know there were plenty of people at the tailgates. It didn't have tickets that were just like. Let me see what let's go and word probably caught on. Hey get in here but they just simply weren't gaining tickets because maybe they realize oh scanning tickets takes even more time and we have this massive humanity entity and this is taken long enough. Let's just make sure that we frisk them and everything else will figure itself out. I don't actually blame those four employees because they're going to get literally attacked not at all. It's the people whose job it is to schedule it. They should have twenty like detectors..

"Night. You have to save yourself. Did we lose to a really good team. In florida or is florida not that great and that just means. We're kind of where we have always been like you f. M. could both be like teams. That are ranked in the teens like you f- is that good u._m. Isn't that bad and they'll both find their way to like fifteen sixteen seventeen but i think you want if you're canes fan the validate the way you feel today which is pretty good. You feel pretty optimistic about your the team. You want the gators to go on and have a really really good season can look back at that day. We were right there. We hung with the number eight team in the grocery. Ax you just said that canes fans i feel good today and i and then i made a face and then i started thinking in terms of all the scenarios of that game. I guess if we were gonna lose if you knew they were gonna lose news you are feeling in the in the in the realm of losing that game. You're feeling decent is that because the quarterback played well and think about the decision i it's ten times with two freshman tackles and you start a chance to win the game at the very end. You should feel pretty good about how your team blade on saturday tonight yeah yeah it's interesting because when i was there i didn't really come away with feeling that florida's good and i don't know how that relates to us. We're just this is one of those unpopular sports take. Let's let's wait and see on the season. One thing that i did sorta come away feeling like that was opportunity. I felt like we give them so many points. I feel like in a couple of weeks. If we played this game we'd be better because are you showed a couple of times on some of those mistakes where they were gifted points and and it was a bummer cigarettes. I'm glad you're here because you're really good at doing one. I'm about to do oh boy which is the staff at camping world stadium the committee midi they put this game together the city of orlando that operates. This stadium dropped the ball massively and put people in serious danger really serious. He is dame. Wow okay so the setup at camping world stadium. I'd only been there for two wrestlemanias and i'd never really had an issue for these wrestlemanias. More parking lots were open for ah for the wrestlemanias i guess because they had some sort of fan fest. They closed some of the lots making it a bit of a more of a hassle than usual. I decided to leave the tailgate gate an hour before kick-off which is usually more than safe to get into the stadium and then make it into the stadium in time for kickoff. What do you normally leave mike. Like what time will you tailgate to get to hardrock stadium. I'll leave thirty minutes okay so i gave myself an extra thirty minutes to just get in there because meeting with some family that we'd lost track of on the other side of tailgate. I wanted to eat something sure wasn't able to eat anything. Our seems like more than enough time to be able to do all does so. We get to one gate and it's not at the gate for us but they're just letting anybody in and i'm thinking okay. People are lazy. Let me just go to the proper gate. Sign inches like impossible to find finding finding someone helpful is even more difficult to find totally understaffed staff totally overwhelmed. It's a massive humanity mind you. It's ninety five degrees raise. It is allegedly neutral site game so you have a lot of florida fans and miami. Hurricanes fans really tight quarters after all day. Drinking sweaty hot.

"What's in your wallet well. This is exciting the first lower after a big local game. You guys see the number. This thing did nationally nationally. I see i saw the number doesn't really you know a four. I saw four somewhere. I saw ten somewhere like what's going on. Ten was like locally four point. One is the biggest. I college football number. I didn't see them distinguish either regular season or postseason. I read biggest college football primetime number on e._s._p._n. Since two thousand sixteen which is astonishing miami i haven't they had semifinal games. They've had type games. I the tweet that i saw did not distinguish postseason. Regular season isn't so i imagine the po- the playoff games and bowl games have to bigger numbers although some of those end up on a._b._c. but although the college football playoff is exclusive fifty e._s._p._n. The but let's just say biggest regular season game on e._s._p._n. Since two thousand and sixteen and that's three years so yeah and people tune in for the university of miami. I think we zero as a television product has been proven to work even the game product. I don't know if that had a correlation. Hey we're starting this game a week early or just. These teams were generally generally slobby. Dan made the observation. I was emotional beers and tears now. It's like a game. Wasn't that bad it was. I watched it back it was it was very sloppy very sloppy. It went fast. The first half flew the second half lasted six years really really long. No one wanted to win the game at the end no so obviously frustrating for the university of miami's perspective because ah until frank's hid that deep fryer sin which is probably where you felt the d._j. I._d. suspension that we <hes> whispered around these parts that ended up being true. My only only dressed four corners for that game. <hes> friars gets beat on that deep pass credit to philippi franks who i wasn't watching the television broadcast live you guys you guys are my attention onto this sound bite after he did something. Finally in this game philippi franks had this to say during the broadcast five lead changes tonight mistakes by both teams stop this leap as had a lot of fun talking the cameras his fans opposing fans pretty sure right after that he third interception the playwright after that pretty much <hes>. What'd you get the turnover chain. I was you know it's fine. I don't know the real power five four. He's upset next being excluded from two three four.
