Yeah the new learning languages renewing all kinds of exciting things will you. You are really someone that is able to plan their time very well because we knew do. It's accomplishing things. Just what many people would say is a mountain of things to do and you get it done in addition to all the things that you need to do to stay on board with your education so these are these are fantastic. Just just points to show others what they can achieve as well in lanier following the what you're doing embracing it. They can learn a lot from the things that you're involved with which i think is really exciting and one of the things that is. I think media even hard for some people to believe. Is that someone so young could be double bestselling author and here you are and i wanna talk about your new book. That's being released and we want everybody to get on board with us because this is exciting. Stop tell me a little bit about your black. So seamer black. It is a young adult fantasy slash scifi novel adults and tweens. Even and it's about eight character needs saver black. Who there are these. There's this winged race of people bat wings and the good guys called sarah's and the bad guys are called sinndar is now the thing. Is that the main character is born a seminar but fights for sarah's sushi. Good is she bad. She does that kind of thing. And i am really excited about this. Because he is. I feel like it is really really going to help So many teams out there because it's a struggling of identity who should be fighting words. Should we be fighting for what we know. What we think is right. You know but it's unconventional or for tradition. But we don't think it's there. There's something not right about it and you know what what should we be fighting for. Light or darkness so all that stuff but in a fun and exciting and thrilling Book of war and battles and juries inquests all across a cool fantasy worlds. I'm very excited about this. And this is perfect timing because this is really what is trending and what is in demand. Sideway annecy especially for the john. Yeah of culture. Age group all i mean everything is yeah it falls under so this is this is really really exciting. Now let me ask you on your as the advertising. It shows that you can see it on the phone. Are you going to get a flip book from this or is it just the advertisement that you can or audio great question so yes there is for as for as your black when it comes out. It's going to be on a paperback and you can absolutely get it on jimbo as well. I would love an audio book and hopefully in the future that something that could have been a miami voice over actress. So we'll see about that but yes it will definitely be available for the back. End the kindle as well. This is really exciting and we really wanted to make sure to talk about that. Because there's so many e-readers out there. And i don't mean electronically but people who are reading through with their e-readers and and so it's just so much sometimes more convenient to do it that way. I personally like to have something tangible in my hand. I can you know. Flip in ulan. Smell the pages of the bull like uh smells like a good mystery. I mean there's just so much. I liked to see to that for those of the you are listening. Starting some book clubs in your area on this. Get some teams that are grouping together and so this is so important for so many reasons because there are so many teams out there that are struggling for those that are in like minded circles that want to rise above and keep positive and be healthy This is this is a good opportunity for us. Do that because you can follow the author arianna and Nba to be influenced in a way. That is really healthy. So this is really exciting. And also those of you who are going in to one of your english classes or any type of class this as we have a reading requirement. Please recommend this to your teacher and see. If you can't get your class through to read this. This will be a lotta fun and my guess would be. Is that if you contact me. Because you've started a book club in your area or you have gotten one of your teachers or the library to get on board with this. If you can let me know that you can register with me that you've had a book club going with zero black. I will find a way to have yana maker of grants to work. Okay so silver exciting about all of these things that are going on. I en- jazz now. Is there i this. I don't even want the audience to know. Just what else you have on your plate. We know that episode two is coming out that we just talked about. But there's other things that you've got going on and we're gonna wanna talk about the war. But i really want everybody to focus on today. The young adult that you have this novel. That's a side by to see that. Relief challenges making healthy choices and This is a big deal. Yes i'm i'm so excited. The the characters are my favorites. My parents favorites characters. That i've made out in general and i think that they can i think a lot of teams can relate especially to the main character. I think this is really important. And because of the things that you do. I like to encourage all of them. All.

Didn't kerr valet at all. But he's because he's actually adopting. What sold was as the actual character. Balkans he's you know for starters is a full-fledged bulkin he's been doing this all his life since it was a young kid. I it's a lot harder for that. Is half human. And i don't know i want to speculate. That for ulan is actually harder because romance emotions. I might be mistaken here. But i think romney's emotions are a lot stronger than human emotions. Yes i mean. You said the seat to the extent that their mouths and takes them. What what did you think. I wanna hear your european i. I don't i guess. I don't know enough to answer that question. "And revenue podcast. I am your host. John ulan thrilled to have all of you with us today. And it is my honor to present to you. My guest john ruling. Now it may sound like. I'm doing a play on words. I'm saying my name. I'm actually not if you're watching by screen you can see. He's actually there. So hey john how are you. I'm good it's good to be here. Well glad to have you here. I'm excited spend some time with you today to be able to share with folks a little bit more about you your rise to fame will make you who you are and the contributions that you're making not only to society in general but you're making to your family as well so let's get right into it though if you don't know john first of all you need to get to know him so let me tell you a little bit about john and for those of you listening. You hear me jumping papers because i always have notes with me. I prepare ahead of time. So john is an international keynote speaker. Easing advisor author as he mentioned earlier. The book is called gift allergy. The subtitle is the art and science of using gifts to cut through the noise increase. Referrals strengthened retention. Just as an aside folks is a fantastic book. I've read through the book two times already absolutely love the book have given it away. Multiple times is a great book to teach you how to be able to really reach out to those who you care about in your business and that you want to say you are important. So we'll get into more of that later. John's also been featured in many different types of publications huffington post forbes inc entrepreneur. I could go into more and more on those. But people really want to know more about you john so what i would love to hear from you and i think our audience would as well is. Tell us a little bit more about you. How did you get your start. And how did you become who you are today. Yeah well what i say. Is that if you're thinking about skipping to the next episode like a lot of dudes when we speak on big audiences you can tell the guys in the audience are like really. Somebody's talking about gifting as like this game changing thing cook. Nobody cares about gifts. You know like. I don't care you don't nobody wakes up at four thing man. If i had a gifting strategy my life would change. You know to your point of what the name of your podcasts. Everybody's business in life is determined by relationships relationships with clients. Employees friends mentors advisors in how we show up for those relationships is what determines whether or not the relationships are successful or not and that's goes for business and personal and so really what we talk about in the book and what i speak on is the gift is just a delivery vehicle emotion like it's not like if you give some widget or some trinket or some promotional items like magically things are gonna change but if you love on your relationships well whether that's a client a boss and employee a kid your parents like we all crave like one of my mentors. Original mentors.

Karpathy Talks Deep Learning, Elon Musk, FSD Beta, & Waymo Competition
"Our here and today we're going to be mostly talking about some takeaways from a recent interview of tesla's director of artificial intelligence. Enrique are happy on a podcast called the robot brains podcast which i willing to in the show notes. The whole conversation is about an hour and five minutes. I would highly recommend listening to all of it. I thought it was very approachable. And hopefully it helps set the stage for a conversation. We're going to have later this week. Quick look at the stock tesla today finished down one point two percent to six hundred and sixty two dollars sixteen cents not a bad day overall. Considering the nasdaq itself finished down. One point one percent are going into the carpet. The interview again great interview. I think it's super interesting in terms of timing right now because this is so current tesla's obviously working on the fasd beta right now. Andre did share some thoughts on that which we will get to you. I do wanna give a little bit of background though for people that aren't familiar with andres background so he has a history and education research again. A lot of notoriety in the field of artificial intelligence and specifically in deep learning. Because of his course at stanford about deep learning which was really the first of its kind and those lectures were also shared on youtube. Gained a ton of traction. There so andre was teaching that class at stanford got his phd. There after that he joined open. A i search scientist spent a couple of years there but at that point in his life he had been doing research for about a decade reading papers writing papers so he talks about that period of time in this interview and joining tesla saying quote. I was definitely getting a little bit restless. At that time i felt like these algorithms are extremely and can really move the needle on some very incredibly important problems in society. I wanted to take a more active role in doing that. So i was getting a bit restless. I was looking at different opportunities and say startups and things like that and then one thing that kind of happened on the side is because open at the time under the umbrella of ulan organizations few times we were interacting with people at tesla and i was kind of consulting a little. Bit for some of the problems and autopilot. I kind of realized that they were dealing with fundamentally a deep learning computer vision and this was the fundamental constraint to whether or not this product were work so i was kind of intrigued by that but it was just a few consulting opportunities here and there. I sorta spoke to the team. But at this time when i was getting really wrestles to apply this technology in the industry actually ilan reached out and asked me. Hey you've been sort of consulting for the team. Do you actually want to join and lead the computer vision team here and help get this car to drive. And so he taught me a very kind of correct time. When i was really getting restless and i feel like this is perfect and i think i can do this. I think i have the skill to contribute here. This is an incredibly impactful opportunity. And i love the company and of course i love yuan and everything that he's doing and so i would say that again was a moment stars align for me and i felt very strongly that this is the right thing to do at this time and quote so long quote there but i appreciated having that background. I've always kind of wondered if andres heart was really in the research realm and if you lon had kind of convinced him and pulled him away from that but that doesn't sound like the case from how hundred describes. He said that at that time when he made that decision to go to tesla he and his colleagues at opening i had joked around that he'd probably only make it about six months. And here we are four years later. I'm really happy about that. Because i think under just a perfect fit for this role. Not only does he have an incredible understanding of the technical challenges that tesla's facing but he also seems to have the right personality for it. He talked about working with yuan. Then also get into some of the technical stuff here in a second but he said quote. He's a double edged sword in terms of working with him because he wants the future yesterday and he will push people and he will inject a lot of energy and he wants to happen quickly. And you have to be of a certain. I think attitude to really tolerate that over long periods of time. But he's around some self with people who get energy out of that and also on the future to happen quicker. Those people really thrive at tesla. And so i happen to. Also i think be like that and so i don't personally mind it. I actually thrive on it and the energy of getting this to work faster and quote. I think this anecdote probably serves as a good reminder. That high turnover isn't necessarily a bad thing just by default you'll often see articles without a lot of data honestly being critical of tesla for having high turnover especially in management. But from the outside. It seems like they go through these cycles where they have a lot of turnover in short periods of time and then they find the person that's right for the role and also vice versa that the role is right for them and seems like those people tend to stick for a long long time better to have high turnover work through a number of different people and find the right person than to stick with the wrong person for too long anyway. The other salient point. That andre made about you on came about from a discussion on tussles hardware in the vertical integration. Andre said quote. I think to a large extent yulon sees ai as just a fundamental pillar of a lot of this technology and wants to invest in internal teams that develop a lot of this technology and co design. Everything tesla is definitely about vertical integration and squeezing a lot of juice from the benefits of that and quote. He continued on with that line of thought and mentioned co design. Three or four times. I think which is really one of the most important and special elements of tesla. This co design idea particularly how the organization is structured around that idea. Tesla's purpose built hardware chips for full self. Driving is obviously a great example of that structural batteries a great example of that before that you had super bottle than the octo valve the list just goes on and on and overtime continues to grow so pay very very close attention to that when andre says that you on sees a i as a fundamental pillar of a lot of their technologies we're still in the very early innings of that actually showing up in tesla's business are at so getting into some of his more technical comments than this is going to be a really long quote. I apologize for that. But i think it's a good primer. So he was asked. How would you describe deep learning to your parents. Andre says quote. Let's use a specific example. Because i think it's useful so let's talk about image recognition we have images images are made up to a computer of a large number of pixels and each pixel just tells you the brightness of the red green and blue channel at that point

I think everyone learns their own approach but there has to be like the basic stepping stones like a foundation is the same no matter where you go unless like talent said you have cake. 'cause then you could just jump to the top and pay everybody. I'm by everything but why do it at that point. It's just and then army. What do you really learn. And then that way. Is i think when you lose it. You don't really understand how to to get it back. There's no real source of because you don't know where you even went wrong so it's like you know how successful really be like yes. We definitely know that there is. There is money in what they call it. Legacy in Trust fund babies. Yeah but but the work that they but the work your forefathers did in order for you to be that trust fund baby was not a cakewalk. You still came from that basic foundation of business one on one again though fitting that business model for that business industry exactly. You don't want any orion you don't learn foundation. It's about foundation the empires handed to them. They don't and that's what the testimony in chess you know. That's what the test has. Money is because when you come in you have a testimony is because you pass a test and you now a you know shooting share with everyone how you pass that test you. If you didn't have it to share you wouldn't have testimony. You want in our testimonies not only encouragement for us as a well job well done but his testimony so others can know was possible. Ulan say your testimony is so that the village knows what it looks like to love. How can you. How can you feel good about your compliments. If you didn't work hard for it how can you. Those conversations has been a long time In the waiting And i'm just so excited to really dive into ulan in the work that you're doing what i truly love about you and we're going to kind of unpack. Some things that you're doing with with educated dieter is is is with the world of of online coaching. I mean it's it's something that has just really. I mean in the last year with kobe. It's it's it's taken its content even another level but but in these last years. You've kind of seen this growth in a space. And i think you and i have a similar kind of belief about about the whole coaching coaching. Space you know. It's funny one of the first episode. Did actually episode four was with mutual friend of ours Brian blanca paki We talked about some of the dangers of no just just coaches in in trainers in general How it's it's it's kind of been the scene you know you've you've seen it. "To produce a manuscript manuscript the publication but because publication is a tough row sas traditional publishing is going to give you a whole lot more no than it gives you yasa's even jane ulan published just more books than i. I've able to count wonderful books for children and adults and she gets reductions. Rejections are going to happen a lot and not every book is is gonna be worth publishing on either method so if you really got to believe in this book if you're going to go down that path now with south publishing you don't have that same gatekeeper topic you but you still have an emotional toll. Not everybody is going to like your book. And it's gonna take a long time to really learn the business to learn how to market to learn how to produce your work how to roll with the punches. When bad reviews come in you need to have the passion for your work to heap. You sustained during not tough early learning curve. So ask yourself. Why do i want to publish this. Not why should. Why do i want to publish. Because that's a pretty easy one for a lot of writers they had. This dream may be forever for as long as they can remember. But why do i want to publish this now. The next question you should ask yourself is is it really ready. Has this manuscript bam reu critique now as you get further along as you publish more as you write more. You're going to know your process a lot that you're gonna feel more confident when things are ready to go and you're probably going to need less critique and revision but early on in the process. I encourage you to take your time with that. Get feedback from a critique. Group have a small group of people a handful of people. Look at your work now. Don't have hundred people look at your work and then you're going to get confused with lots of conflicting feedback but have a handful of people who know what they're doing. Look at your work and get feedback has this. Has this work been rabbis multiple times if this is early in your career. This should have been revised multiple times. You should've been spending some time learning the craft of writing before you are ready to send your work out into the world now the next question. You should ask yourself. Am i ready and again. That's because this is an emotional process. Are you ready to hear. Lots of no's are you. Have you researched. if you're if you're traditionally publishing research the querying process. Do you know what an agent is and why you might need one or why you might go without one. Are you ready to get lots of rich actions and keep going and if you're not ready to do those things that's okay..

"But it's definitely a price tag. That's kind of eye watering. I'm thinking of 2001 Space Odyssey, where they have their serving drinks and flight. But that's not what this is gonna be. So is this a business thing for axiom? Or is it a tourist thing? What will they be doing as a private company? So axiom is planning to have multiple missions that are going to kind of ramp up. So this is there going to be the first entirely private mission to the space station. They plan to eventually attach their own modules to the I s s and that they're hoping to use is a test bed for them, eventually launching a private space station into orbit. Now, as far as I know, they don't make spacecraft. Right. So who's spacecraft? Are they using? They're using a space X spacecraft. Ah, Ulan Musk is added again here in space. Well, he's showing that you can make a profit and that that private industry can work in space. We're definitely seeing an increase in private space flight in private interest in getting into space and exploring and also using resource is up there and, of course, that if they're going to be like in a hotel in the spirit in the international space station, they got to be paying for food and board, don't they? That's right. They do They have to. If you were staying in a hotel, you would have to pay for the space. You'd have to pay for whatever you ate, and it's the same thing here, Although I don't I don't imagine even even with the price tag for space travel. I can't imagine that they're going to be eating the finest cuisine up there. There's limits. That's a nasty makes a few bucks on this than getting reimbursed for. Yes, absolutely. Give us a timeline on this here. So they're planning. They think the earliest they could launch would be in a year in January, 2022 But, you know, with all things space related every time you get an estimate of the deadline, you have to take it with a grain of salt. Because often these missions get Pushed back by by, you know, by weeks or months or even years, All right, let's let's before we run out of time. Let's move on to a really important question about whether the dinosaur spinal Saurus was more of us swimmer or a waiter. I love stories like this about scientists are are passionate on both sides of this debate. They really are. They're releasing new papers. The most recent paper advances the hypothesis that the spinosaurus which is this, like 50, ft Long Dinosaur, 20 ft. Tall, It had this big sale on its back, and they know that it lived. In and around the water. But the question is, was it sort of swimming through the currents? Or was it more of a waiter like awaiting bird? And a lot of this involves just looking at the body and the remains that they've recovered and comparing it to existing animals. And the most recent study that has come out has now said. We think it was a waiter. Waiter just up to its waste may be right because they were looking at sort of the body shape, and a lot of aquatic animals that are spent much more time swimming have a much more streamlined body. It's easier for them to navigate through the water on this study is looking at various how, at the bulk of the Spinosaurus at that sort of unwieldy sale at the number of muscles in its tail, and they said, Based on this information, we don't think it would have been a very fast Swimmer and we think it would have been a more effective strategy for this type of animal toe. Stay in the waiting shallows and toe dip its head in. Well, I wonder what the over under was on taking bets, whether it was the swimmer or the waiter. Well, we'll leave that up to the Vegas bookmakers on that. Thank you Something. Thank you. Sophie Bushwick, Technology editor at Scientific American Always good to talk with her. You've got to take a break, but when we come back, we're answering your questions about the covert 19 vaccine with an expert,.

And I believe that that's why we love Donald Trump your month. I'm sorry. What if they tried to do anything that they tried to do anything about Maxine Waters doing this? This terrible played every day. That's all you gotta do Just so people there her own words. Are we the bad guys there, she But I think what you here's what you described why we love Donald J. Trump so much why he is the best president in my lifetime bar. None because the guy knew how to fight and when people didn't fight Quick enough fast enough. He wasn't afraid to say Lindsey Graham, get it in gear. You know, even Mike Pence. I love Mike Pence. I think Mike Pence has been super oil to Donald Trump. And probably the reason he got elected, but he even he couldn't fight. Like he needed to fight at the end. Now we're asking them to do something he couldn't do on. I is Mike Pence's fault. I think it goes back to what you're saying. The minute Maxine Waters says that they mean the minute they kick. You know Sarah Sanders out of a restaurant.

Relationships & Revenue
"ulan" Discussed on Relationships & Revenue
"Welcome everyone to the relationships and revenue. Podcast this john ulan and this is my first solo video. So i'm super excited about that One of the things. That i'm gonna ask for you to do for me if you don't mind is besides giving us a ratings and review where you normally would do. I'd also appreciate if you give me some feedback in whatever way you can get in touch with me and my various social media channels and also all my brand new youtube channel. Where is where you're gonna find this video. Gimme some feedback on what. I'm doing how i can improve that sort of thing. That's the only way that any of us gets better is if we get feedback from people so i asked that you be polite when you do it Other than that bring. It goes all. I wanted to get better and to be able to provide something. That's fantastic for everyone. So i am recording this on january. First twenty twenty one so it was the beginning of a brand new year. And i'm really excited about the new year because there's some really cool things coming up for me and the things i'm offering in my businesses and so there's some things that i want to share with you today to try and help you as well as myself. Get off on the right foot. I want to dispel some misnomers. I one of the things that people talk about often are resolutions win. A new year starts. And i gotta tell you. I hate resolutions. I think they're horrible. Why well if you can name for me. One person includes you as well named for me. One person that you know of this had at least one resolution that they've kept an entire year. Can you think of anybody. Because i can't not one. So let's for the rest of our discussion today. we're going to toss out that word resolutions. it is gone. We're not talking about that anymore. What we're going to talk about our healthy productive habits that we're gonna be creating that's what we're talking about today goal setting in creating great habits to let's get into it and just so everybody knows i make notes for myself. That's how i roll. So i'm fifty years old. I don't remember everything appeal the time. That's why i write this stuff down. Here's something that's super important when you get started on this and this doesn't matter if you're trying to set up goals for yourself trying to create the best possible habits for you first of all you know you you gotta know who you are and you've got to know why you're here meaning your purpose. You gotta know that stuff inside out upside down while even having to think or blink an eye you gotta know you if you don't know you then let's start working on doing the hard things is gonna take to get you to the point where you know who you are. You know where you're headed so that you can begin to develop the goals and habits. You need to get you further down that road so for the moment. We're going to assume that you know who you are and you know why you're here. Okay so when you know your purpose and you know your mission in life you know what you're supposed to be doing. That is extremely important. Now that you know those things you gotta make sure that your goals in your habits align with.

Tesla Daily: Tesla News & Analysis
Musk to Tesla employees: 'Our stock will immediately get crushed like a souffle under a sledgehammer!' if we don't control costs
"We also happen to have a leaked email from ulan. Musk to tussle employees today electric posted about this mid day today so i'll just read the email in full here. It's relatively short. Yulon says quote at a time like this when our stock is reaching new highs. It may seem as though spending carefully is not as important. This is definitely not true when looking at our actual profitability is very low at around one percent for the past year. Investors are giving us a lot of credit for future prophets. But if at any point they conclude that's not going to happen. Our stock will immediately get crushed like a souffle under a sledgehammer much more important in order to make our cars more affordable. We have to get smarter about how much we spent. This is a tough game of pennies requiring thousands of good ideas to improve part cost a factory process or simply the design while increasing quality and capabilities. A great idea would be one. That's as five dollars but the vast majority of fifty cents here or twenty cents there in order to make the electric revolution happen. We make electric cars stationary batteries and solar to go. Thanks great working with you as always alone and quiet. So i think the common first reaction when you email like this is oh tesla's struggling with profitability. Q four must be bat or something like that. I definitely don't think that's the case. I mean we have had price drops on the model seen some drops in china during the course of the quarter but for the most part i think tesla held steady. And we've actually even seen an increase in the price of full self driving and if that release goes wider tussle will be able to recognize a lot of that revenue this quarter and all those are before considering that we should easily see all time. High delivery numbers this quarter and last quarter tesla posted. Almost four percent prophet there. Gap net income was three hundred. Thirty one million dollars on to shove nine billion in revenue and even for the last twelve months tesla's gap net income margin has been percents even so i have no concerns about you for being profitable. They should clear that bar very easily. I think this can be taken very much face value. It's just gone saying hey. Don't get distracted by the stock price. That doesn't mean we have achieved victory yet overall were not extremely profitable. We still need to focus on cutting costs and bringing prices down for customers to me. It's as simple as that.

The Nutrition Diva's Quick and Dirty Tips for Eating Well and Feeling Fabulous
Fiber's New Science of Health-Boosting Benefits
"This week we're talking about fiber. Now wait eight. Don't go away. Fiber may seem like a somewhat frumpy nutrient but it is actually one of the hottest topics nutrition right now and that's partly because fiber plays such a big role in the health and function of the Gut microbiome data and anything to do with the microbiome is trending the way we define and categorize categorize fiber has also gotten a complete overhaul in recent years. We used to think of fiber or simply as roughage. The parts of the plant that are digestive system could not break down and convert into energy and then fiber was further. Broken down into soluble and insoluble fiber soluble fiber. Like that in Oat Bran was I thought to act like a sponge soaking up cholesterol and keeping it out of your bloodstream. Insoluble fiber like that in wheat brand was thought to work more. Like go broom helping to push waste through the system but now we recognize that fiber does a lot more than just soak stuff up and move stuff Out and the list of benefits attributed to fiber has been expanded to include Reduced Inflammation Enhanced Immune function appetite and weight control enhanced Nutrient Nutrient absorption. Better blood sugar control and type two diabetes prevention and a lot of this happens via the microbiome. The fiber in our diet affects the number a number and the variety of beneficial bacteria in our gut. Suffice it to say that the fiber story is far more complex and interesting than we ever imagined. It's not just about getting more fibre anymore because different types of fiber have different effects. So if you're looking for a specific benefit you'd Wanna a match your choices to your concern and in the show notes for today's podcast. We have an info graphic. That will help you do just that but first let's get our terminology straight. You will still see fiber broken down into soluble and insoluble on nutrition facts labels but this is not the only or even the most meaningful way to sort or categorize fiber we now the fiber not just by its solubility but also its viscosity fermentable eighty tolerability and prebiotic activity. Soluble fibers dissolve in water. Insoluble fibers do not. You stir them into water and they'll eventually settle to the bottom of the glass. Viscous fibers are soluble fibers. That don't just dissolve Kevin Water. They actually form a semi solid Gel. fermentable fibers stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut and fermentable fibers. I include both soluble and insoluble fibers. Although most of them are soluble a prebiotic fiber is a fermentable fiber. That's been shown to selectively promote the growth of specific bacteria that are linked to health benefits so all prebiotics are fermentable fibers but not all aw fermentable fibers have been classified as prebiotic and then. In addition to these terms which describe form and function. There are other designations designate. That have to do with how fiber is regulated and labeled a functional fiber is one. That's been extracted from its original food source for use as a supplement or food additive in order to be classified as a functional fiber it must have some beneficial effect. But that doesn't necessarily need to be through its effect on the intestinal bacteria. A functional fiber may be soluble or insoluble viscous or non viscous fermentable or non-fermentable fiber that naturally occurring in food such as the fiber in whole wheat bread is considered an intrinsic fiber and then fiber. That's been isolated extracted from a food source such as Beta glue cans from its or silly. Husk from Celia seed is called an isolated adviser and fiber. That doesn't occur naturally in food. Such as poly dextrose is synthesized. Synthesized fibers may provide health benefits or. They may simply be used to improve. The texture or other qualities of manufactured foods in Ulan for example has some rather magical qualities in foods. It can drastically reduce the amount of sugar needed to make things taste. Sweet without the use of non caloric sweeteners in May may be listed. As Chicory root fiber on ingredient lists one last thing to understand is that not all of these types of fiber qualify ask quote unquote dietary fiber for the purposes of food labelling. A product may contain inland for example. which is a soluble? Non Viscous fermentable re biotic fiber however in Ulan has not yet been classified as dietary fiber by the FDA and therefore for not included in the grams of fiber that are listed on the nutrition facts label. And that's likely to change soon by the way okay. We're GONNA take a brief if pause and then let's talk about what fiber can do for us or really. What

Tesla's Deliveries Plummet; What's Next For Model 3?
"Said this week that a delivered about sixty three thousand vehicles in its latest period. If you're keeping tabs that is worse than analysts already lowered expectations figure reflecting total deliveries of the model three model ass and model. X cars shares fell about eight percent in Thursday morning trading as questions about Tesla's ability to meet ambitious sales targets continue to move overhead. Let's get more joining us via Skype in San Francisco is the Wall Street Journal's Tim Higgins Tatum. Why the slowdown what seems to be the biggest roadblock in Tesla's way. Ideally at wants to pump out new deliveries why the lack of a smooth ride see only two car puns this time, Tim I'm getting I'm getting out of the way early. So that will be it. Go perfect. Well, this is a complicated messy quarter. Tesla said that it was hindered. By the fact, that it was for the first time shipping model series to Europe and to China, and that it was more. Complicated than they expected that they had dealt with in the past. We know that there was some customers shoes bringing the vehicles in China and Alon must see yo had previously suggested that there was some parts issues for the European market. So it's it's a complex and logistically challenging thing to take vehicles overseas. And that's a Tesla's always kinda struggled when it's brought new vehicles to other countries. So going into this period. Some analysts had expected that there would be challenges there the extent of challenges, however, and the effect on the the results was bigger than Wall Street expected and opens up a more questions about the demand for Tesla's vehicles. Remember at the beginning of the first quarter. Tesla surprised a lot of people by lowering the price of its vehicles in this came as the US federal. Tax credit begins to phase out for for vehicles. He used to be seventy five hundred dollars. It's gone to half that amount and is going to go to zero by the end of the year, the start of next year, and is concerned that that essentially as a price increase for people here in the states, and tesla was trying to respond by cutting the price, and it did multiple price cuts on the model three and some might expect that that would have helped manned and so to see the the dramatic drop offs, especially in the model asks in the model X has raised just a lot of concerns. Tesla would say that part of that is because there was a poll forward of demand into the fourth quarter with customers rushing out to get those vehicles before the tax credit started to phase out. But whatever the case it raises questions about where the model S in the model X which have been the core which have which has been the business for tesla for. Quite a while here. What's going to happen to those that that revenue stream and those in the profitability of those vehicles just going forward for tesla? Right. Not to mention, you know, the model three getting that model. Three to customers has been looming over tesla ever since it cranked up production. What are the folks that you talk to what do they rumbling about? When do these concerns start to Trump that unshakable? Tesla optimism. What was shares plummet shortsellers, those investors who bet against the company really crying a victory on Twitter. It's full of comments about how they were. Right. They believe that we've seen tesla. The peak tesla that the narrative of this company unstoppable narrative is peaked long-term investors. Those those who who believe in in with the company is vision and selling they they stay potential for the second quarter that there are already. Ready ten thousand vehicles and transit those will be sales in the second quarter that tesla will work through its challenges in Europe, and China, and that China in particular is going to be a huge market for the company. Ulan musk has already begun construction of factory there specifically for the model three and then the upcoming model lie small compact car to be built in China for the China market in. They see a lot of potential there. So. To say that the we're kind of a pivot point it's hard to tell because the essentially the first quarter is a mess in. It's hard to understand what the real demand for the model. Three is at this point, a where things are the model S model X level. There's some suggestion that demand for the vehicles here in the US has decreased. But it's unclear if it's decreased store if the company was just sending its inventory to new markets. Does it all come down to money as it always does and trying to make more of it one of the bigger kind of things that emerges out of this this? These results is going to be just greater emphasis and greater concern about where Tesla's cast cash position is this had been a area of concern for much of last year as as delays and bringing the model three up to a higher production level meant that the company was eating in. To it's small cash balance in raising concerns of whether there would be enough cash Yuan musk would routinely talk about how he did not want did not need to raise additional funds. And that once the company hit a consistent rate of of build for the model three and can pump those vehicles out in the cell in bring a new revenue that that would take care of Tesla's cash needs the idea being that the company would be self funding, and then could pay for all of its ambitious growth going forward. So it's been kind of the story that the company has been selling, and and we get here at the end of the first quarter. And we know that there was a huge hit to the company's cash bounce during the period because it had to pay back nearly one billion dollar debt during that period in this the idea that it it. It's sales didn't meet expectations didn't meet its own expectations. It lowered prices it closed stores. It's taking hits for laying people off. Off these are all very expensive things. And you know, what's that cash? Balance going to beat the company says it's sufficient amount. But whatever the case is it's not going to be a lot. And they're going to be lots of people talking on Wall Street about how tesla needs to raise more money. And if they do that at this point, it's going to be not at a position of strength, which is where you wanna raise money, but it's going to be a weakened position, and which could make it more expensive or potentially harder.

"Us up if you saw the bachelorette, last night the finale I wanna know what you think about about her pick and and I guess I wasn't watching intently, this season so I don't really know who that should it. Be, Blake yeah he's seems like a much more genuine guy should should give be. The bachelor. Oh. Shit yeah He. Whispers, too. Much He's has, enough, of a. Personality diction the bachelor there's not that many good choices this season when and by the way we're gonna. Talk about who won so if you don't, want to hear, them turn it down but I. Don't know how you I mean it's. On good Morning. America it's on everything so I don't know how you don't know, who won back though says initially on the episode last night the she thinks she could be happy with either guy. Can be happy guy both of them would be. Right choice for me I'm going to one who can't see myself without The most important decision for Like Not only found my partner in this also found. Show I'm sure that producers want her to let him walk out there and do his. Deal but I think the right thing to do if you genuinely care about any of these people used to stop them from going through the process because I think most men want to do that one time you don't even if you do it more than once unless saying that it'd be do it twice, times, whatever whatever your, life. Whatever a however transpires I think most guys that they imagine doing it one time and now this guy has got one on him that, well that didn't go, well The, rest of my life Smile See too many words already stopped him There's just one piece I am not. Ready to say goodbye Should've stopped him Quite honestly I pictured this moment standing here of the entire time for so long I think that we could be right and we could be partners So Garrett proposes she accepts and then after the rose they they make Blake watch Garrett proposed tobacco and then ask him about it as if it's not bad enough that he got rejected, and then had to live with that for, the last however long. What happens if, she says no and, he's like she doesn't say no because by the, time you get to this point you know that, you're going to, get a. Yes like you're not you're, not this isn't like bachelor then but it's like there's no impromptu, proposal like. You don't just say let's do? What, are you thinking today saying no and walk. Away, like that doesn't really happen well does the. Bachelorette happen plus you're, in public so you say, yes and, then you, get home you go, you know Right well I, guess the point is, hopefully you've you've had the conversation you've you're both, on the same page about what you want you've, probably gonna ring.
