"How about this guy, and he hasn't played here in a while, but he's still fourth all time. Troy Tulowitzki with 10. He used to do his thing. Sunnyvale kid, right? Yep. What's going on? I don't know. Just sorry about that. Sort of found something fired on the computer. There. Um, That's crazy. And then you know who's fifth. Mike tied for fifth. Giancarlo Stanton with nine and Dan Uggla with nine. I remember Dan Uggla tormenting the Giants, but he did. Tormentor. Rooney play for him. He did. He hits your as a got a ring. I mean, they have played three games and whatnot and didn't have any good at patch and he went to get in the ring. How about that? So you know, I'll be wears it every day. I do. Isn't that funny? Isn't that funny? Say hit none as a giant paid nine as an opposing guy, and then just one last one. Just it's nice to see the Dodgers. You know, listen if the Giants misery loves company and the Dodgers losing extra innings on a wild pitch Runner goes the third. Will Smith throws it off of Justin Turner's glove. Marty scores Dodgers lose right so As you would say, you Ha Daddy, Right? Well, you know it. It just It's hard. It's hard to have a winning record. At this level. It is and there's no Free pass, you know out of your I don't care. You know the team that's lost like the Cubs stimulus. What? 10 11 in a row. If they were playing the Giants tonight, you would think it's going to be a heck of a game. I mean, it's just the big leagues and It can turn around so fast, and you just can't ever take anybody for granted. Marlins are good team giants saw that firsthand. And now the Dodgers are finding it out. Especially in Miami. So it's the big leagues and you know you get what you earn. And you do not ever ever take any team lightly. Yeah, we'll go. Marlins go. So all right. Well, Alex would tonight is anything you're looking for any keys? I mean, like you said, you know, his month of June wasn't good, but He's got to attack these guys tonight. Somebody's going to do anything. You're seeing the Cardinals approach the first two games. No, I mean they've been at. It all depends on the guy that we're facing. And I think any time you see Alex would take a, uh, a start. You always concern yourself with the lowball hitters and You know nobody. Molina's get low ball hitter and, you know, interesting is met Carpenter. I mean, he's had good numbers against Alex wouldn't and I say that's unusual because he's a left handed hitter. Usually with the funkiness from Alex Wood, and the slider eats left handers for lunch. But I don't know if that coverage is going to be in the game or not, although with his history he might be. I would keep an eye on those two matchups and, of course. Are not owned Goldsman. Yeah, for sure. Alright, Mike. So tough game. Good game. Two Good teams. Jazz. Still in first, Alex would tonight will enjoy your broadcast and talk to you Friday. Bit microcode getting the power are off to a rousing start. As the Giants kind of lick their wounds have lost six and nine now. Yeah, Yeah, They've lost 69, but they're not the Cubs losing 11 Snow, and they're still in first. I don't have the game. That is incredible. The Dodgers keep they cannot get ahead. It's great. It's been what did you say? 35 days or some like that 36 days. This is I think this is day. 37. Amazing, really is amazing. Last yesterday was a 30 for the greatest team in the history of baseball to be down this long is pretty remarkable. Alright. Top six stories cooler can 10 Bagley's coming up Wednesday. We still got, uh, the NBA Finals to chit chat about Aaron Rodgers. Boring Paulie Mac out there doing this thing. And, of course, my joy over my Italians doing their thing.

"Shut out to the 707 for doing Cem. Cem. Jorge can tio research do that's exactly what set me off on this. This little diatribe on Saturday was was looking at your thinking about Jorge Cantu thinking they had a little bit of pop. It could hit a little bit. Then I dove into like the great power hitting second baseman. Somebody checked in, said Combs. How about your Coach. How about forever giant Dan Uggla? Dude, I looked up ugly yesterday and I knew ugly hit for power with those Braves teams of Braves teams were scary. He and Jeffrey Encore of the Chipper was still over third. They were dangerous for make Tommy Hanson when he was young. The starter Jonny Venters was at the back end of the bullpen with Eric O'Flaherty and Craig Kimbrel. Those teams were pretty good. But ah, Linkous far as far as the power hitting second baseman, go the guys like Marcus Giles from back in the day, just like Jose Vidro. Those guys were kind of false alarms. Dan Uggla did it for a more consistent period of time. But then he just fell off when you hit a wall, and that was it. He's got like 230 career homers, though still about 145 behind behind our guy, Jeff Kent. 707 checks and says, Why didn't we send Reggie Stocker to be the designated hitter? Maybe for this offseason? Reggie Stalker, of course, a fictional videogame character representing Barry Bonds with the old MVP baseball games on one more here from the 559 says I've been pounding the Jeff Can't drum for years as a kid, I got off of the Jeff Can't wagon. In 2003 when he left and it wasn't even so much that he left there was any left. And then he talked to us about the Giants when he was a Dodger, and it was easy to not like him when he was a Dodger, But once he retired, I was like, you know what? Mary come on back to throw on the cream again. Throw number 21 grow that stash out. He played survivor and one of the great all time lines after he got voted out of Survivor, saying, I believe the line then we can dig it up. They will believe the line was You get voted off. You sit there and you get to do a little. I get 32nd kind of hit a cz. You're as you're after you've been voted out. You sit there and he goes. Ah, said something along the lines of you. I didn't need the money. I just wanted to be a wannabe. Ah, the all time survivor, the ultimate survivor. Whatever. And then he says something like Get it. Six. I don't need the money. I made over, however much millions of dollars playing baseball of many millions, but it's not even a 1,000,000 bucks. It's like 600 K. After Obama takes half of that's out there on his on his way out, which is hysterical, But he floats that out there I was, actually, after we were talking all this Jeff Kent stuff this weekend. I looked at his old like the survivor bio. They do where they asked him a series of questions before they go out there and they're all posted. Like I don't know some Some people magazine or whatever about this upcoming season of Survivor and obviously he's a former ball player. But he's talking about his Southern roots, and now he thinks his Southern roots are going to help him cooking outside and living outside. Now he knows how to do all that stuff was like Southern roots. Is this guy from Southern California shifted from so Cal dude grub? I think we have the sound. Know what pisses me off because I think I've made about $60 million playing baseball and I want this $1,000,000 in this game, and it's not even a 1,000,000 bucks. It's 600 grand by time. Obama takes it I'ma Game seven World Series loser I played in the biggest game in the world in the worst games, world socks. That's.

"The best answer for this. Whose career is a major league? Baseball may well be over. He headed over to Japan for two thousand twenty. We'll see harvey no Adam Jones Jones. I think Adam. Jones was viewed by a lot of people as a legitimate. Star Star in baseball during that good orioles run where he made four consecutive, all star teams from twelve to fifteen. I don't think history is going to be kind to the perception that he was a star. Top thousand eight thirty nine. Oh P. S He was never an on base. Percentage guy is career. Slash lines to seventy, seven, three, seventy, four, fifty four. He's GonNa. Finish with fewer than his about thirty two wins above replacement Like Great Leader and it was the face of those orioles franchise, and may have been their best player in individual years never once ranked in the top ten in position players League wide a wins above replacement now one time. What about here's a name. What about Dan, Uggla? I don't know that like we view Dan Uggla. Like a star player at the time. I think what year like win was it? The thing with Uggla is that he debuted like a like a Bat Outta Hell with twenty seven homers, and there was going. GonNa say he hit like fucking. Thirty homers foot the first four years, five years, or something shows twenty, seven, thirty, one, thirty, two, thirty, one, thirty, three, thirty six. I think the thing with other. The one caveat is that everybody knew because he didn't debut until age twenty six that the. The run was never going to be a dairy right, yeah! And that ended up being very true, I mean. You know even the area at thirty six home runs, which was a career highest first year in at L., is dropped one hundred points from the year before like the the decline happened, it happened really fast. Anyway interesting question. Who is your? Who is your guy following the NBA draft? I know none of us are experts and I. Don't think anybody listening thinks that we're experts on college high school players, but let's so that we can claim that we were correct. I can make fun of Dallas for being extremely wrong later on. Let's plant our flag on a guy. Who is your guy from this draught? Shit. I mean I'm just GonNa fall back on the guy that we drafted the as. Purely because he's from my neighborhood. Tyler Soderstrom, okay, left-handed stick yet, not a catcher out of Turlock California no the best part about busy plays the catcher position, but his raw athleticism We'll probably see him land. That's frankly wherever he would like. Yeah, that's an incredible. That is really well done. a guy who does TV for team I got one nick bits go. Nick pit skill. That's go. He was the He was raised pick. He seventeen years old. He's he's. He was kind of like the. The track man advanced number spin rate, darling sort of thing. His track record extremely brief. What's what's funny about about that? Is You know like he sent out at somebody's sitting. I think he sent out a tweet or like you said something you know what posting my rap Soto, numbers and Blah. "Yeah. Until you were in a hearing trying to decide their salary the first time I met Kevin Gregg was in an arbitration room. And so we started off rough but ended up fine, which I guess is the story of how a lot of things happen with me. But a player that I disliked personally, the most I didn't really I didn't really dislike players person. I guess I would have to say AJ Burnett. I just found him to be selfish. I didn't find him to be a winner that we did end up winning the World Series with the Yankees. I didn't think any team with AJ would ever win. I found him to be selfish when he was younger. But then I realized that he was just immature and a kid, and we were expecting a lot out of him. There were other players who disappointed me and my biggest disappointment without lighter. We brought him in and oh five to anchor a staff after we signed Delgado's thought, we'd possibly, you know, make another run after three, and he was an absolute mess, and I know is hero down here and a good guy and charitable guy. He was a disaster. He stole eight million dollars from us from Jeffrey not for me. And he and he he just stunk. And we ended up releasing him that season that disastrous season. So I'd say he's my number one biggest disappointment and all my degree. Where the glasses during the arbitration hearing now. So we've got some great arbitration story, Cody rocky took conversation. Remember, Cody Ross the player. Yes. So we went to retrain with him because he's wanted to see what it was like, and he knew that he didn't care win or lose. 'cause it was just a couple of hundred grand, and we were passing notes to each other and bending text or any arbitration, and it was driving MLB and the MLB which is the players visitation. "Two games this season i was very close to head over to the grill area in the left at i'll i was almost got their little late so i think i may have missed you i'll bonus uggla's somebody else who's cooking for the dodgers dense yu darvish to winnow and how big of a signing was that our trade actually them trading to get him how big was that going into the postseason where i point ordinary made a statement tear at the front office refah everybody knows that the teams are on fire that hedge fund and guggenheim there and beverley put their money at each year uh but it will never quite pull the trigger woodley needed to i think there's always been assumption we don't wanna give away what we think you straight potential young players but this year they stepped up at got darvish experience caesar or are pitch a guy who the when he goes out there and especially when you a transition of one lead to the other i every time he goes around next for the next two months or seven weeks and basically the opposition as a senior research ship repair ever effective itself he he could be your number two guy very easily going hit the uh and the closeseason now the dodgers make it into the world series now he's he's her face guys that have seen it before my view their story luckily safe but i think the biggest thing is the the save a rather front office by getting darvish say we're all in uh what going for it and we're going to put the best possible team either we can bring up from the minors or by uh to go in october.

"And not only a little bit he can hit for power and he you seemed at least statistically to turn into a extremely interesting young catcher so what what is going on it's also had isn't how do you see his twenty seventeen playing out is it looks like a regular major league after for the first time yeah that'll be another you know along with that import of your all interest in a followed because you and a guy who's always then you heard it for his defensive skills he and i commend him era to show at the major league level on a small sample that he can be pretty quickly i think one of the elite catchers on the other side of the game the off and there's a little more complicated because even though he did have those big numbers the last year i was come in and not also which is we like getting on the moon or for yeah clicking under renfroe the under it show some a so so that translating and another year another small fifth uggla but that was the number so i think you know this will give us a much better parameter who is off we're than offered the player so i don't really get on that chance the make or even though and twenty fifteen him enough the can really play very much the item on derek norris stan they haven't gotten off each sophia prospect technically itself well we'll find out i get for next few months you can earlier may be click here to fifty and then revised okla people on the but but but so i think you know that it will be up pretty close to you know first division catcher which and all that didn't personally didn't end but not before.
