Steven Hayward: Suddenly Democrats Are Feeling Much More Chipper

"From my body Stephen Hayward smart guy good guy at power line Suddenly Democrats are feeling more chipper about their prospects for November Congress passed something President Biden got to have a signing ceremony at The White House You have to understand that for the liberal mind nothing good can happen in the world without a signing ceremony It's the key sacrament of their secular religion Some polls show Democrats looking better especially in key Senate races where Republicans have nominated he says We candidates Bill gostin writes today in The Wall Street Journal about hopeful signs for Democrats in the 2022 midterms Surprisingly he says Democrats remain tied with Republicans in the generic congressional ballot which reflects national preferences for the parties house candidates and Senate races Kennedy quality matters more As has happened repeatedly in recent cycles Republicans appear to have damaged their prospects during primary contests by choosing nominees who have more appeal with their party's base than with statewide electorates Of course they never do that in the Democrat party In Ohio Pennsylvania Georgia and Arizona nominees backed by Donald Trump trail their democratic opponents several by wide margins So the whole goal here by the ruling class and their sycophants and the ruling class would include the useless utterly completely useless Mitch McConnell It's to blame everything on Trump

Some of the things he does, you can tell that he's not even a good senator because he doesn't seem to represent the people of Georgia. You know, he's voted with Joe Biden 96% of the time and a lot of those policies do not match what is great for Georgia. So, you know, he's not going to condemn anything like that right now. Liz Cheney Compared Herself to Abraham Lincoln in Concession Speech

"She actually compared herself to Abraham Lincoln because she wants people to think she's going to be a presidential candidate in 2024. The great and original champion of our party, Abraham Lincoln, was defeated in elections for the Senate and the House before he won the most important election of all. Lincoln ultimately prevailed, he saved our union, and he defined our obligation as Americans for all of history. Speaking at Gettysburg of the great task remaining before us, Lincoln said that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain that this nation under God shall have a new birth of freedom. And that government of the people by the people and for the people shall not perish from this earth. As we meet here tonight, that remains our greatest and most important task. Wow. "Senator Rick Scott, before I get to the question of the FBI, which is burning up the call screen. People are very, very angry about this. I want to get your I want to get you over and under. It looks to me like the Republicans could end up anywhere from 48 to in a great great year 56. I think the over and under is 52 and a half for the Senate in January of 2023. What do you think? As long as we raise our money, we're going to get a majority. I don't know if that'll be 51, 52, 53. You're right. We have great candidates. So if we have our money, we have shot BioShock pick up 6 to 8. But it all comes down to enough money to get our message out. That's why I tell everybody help these candidates or if you want to help us, it's text 5 5 four four text win to 5 5 four O four because if we have the resources, I think we're just going to be a great year. People are mad. They're mad about inflation. They're mad about Afghanistan. They're mad about the border. They're mad about defunding the police. They're mad about this rate on Mar-a-Lago. Do Senate Democrats Have Any Reason to Believe They Can Win?

"Senator Scott, our people on the Hugh Hewitt radio program are very in the weeds about the mechanics of winning. As the head of the NRSC, you are in charge of making sure we take back the Senate. Are people are people who are concerned because the regime narrative is that we're in trouble in Georgia with Herschel Walker that we're in trouble in Pennsylvania with Doctor Oz. What's the NRSC doing to ensure that we win those crucial Senate seats? Well, Kurt here's where we are. We have great candidates. We've got wonderful individuals that have gotten through their primaries. They're clearly focused on running good races and representing their state. If you look at all over the country, it's actually all these states where we have competitive races. Biden is numbers are horrible. The democratic agenda is not well received. People shocking people don't like high inflation. They don't like to defund the police. They don't like critical race theory. They don't like the fact that there was a raid on a former president House of potential opponent in 24 to the existing administration. So, but we've got to do this as long as we raise our money and we get our message out. I think we have every reason to believe that we can get a majority.

Do You Remember Roy Moore of Alabama?

Do You Remember Roy Moore of Alabama?

"Do you remember the controversial political figure in Alabama named Roy Moore? Roy Moore won the 2017 Republican primary runoff. This was to replace Jeff Sessions. Remember Jeff Sessions had been named by Trump to be attorney general. So there was a vacancy for that seat, a Roy Moore was the candidate. And Roy Moore is somebody who has been outspoken figure in Alabama. He was under Supreme Court. He was also a former sheriff. And the democratic Senate majority PAC. This was a left wing outfit decided to go after Roy Moore. And they did it by blackening his character. By basically saying the guy is a pedophile, that the guy solicits sex from young girls. And they ran a 32nd ad, a thousand times on various television networks in Alabama all across the state, when they said that Roy Moore was soliciting sex from young girls at a mall, they linked to a report in something called the new American journal, and they also had quotes from other news articles where at one point they said that he approached a young girl who was 14 years old and quote working as Santa's helper working at Santa's helpers. So the idea is that Roy Moore is this disgusting pervert. And this was, this was widely promulgated throughout the state. In fact, I remember reading a good deal about it on social media. Well, Roy Moore sued. He basically said, not only is this false information, but the people who put it out, the Democrats, the Senate majority PAC knew it was false. They knew it was false. They put it out anyway. In other words, this is a malicious lie. Clearly designed to destroy my reputation and an harm me. Now, when you make this kind of an allegation against someone, it is, you could almost say per se libelous. And by per se libel is what I mean is you don't have to prove it's damaging. If somebody comes out and says, you know, that I or you are pedophiles, that's harmful on the face of it. It's somewhat like someone saying that you are an axe murderer. I don't have to prove that that's a harmful statement. It's obviously destructive if believed. And this accusation was believed, and the ad appeared to be giving all kinds of citations that the corroborate what the ad was saying.

Alaska GOP Senate Candidate Kelly Tshibaka Joins Dinesh

"Guys, today is the day of the Alaska primary. I'm delighted to welcome back to the podcast. Kelly shabaka. She is born and raised in Alaska. She is the Trump endorsed candidate for the GOP in the primary and she's also endorsed by the Alaska Republican Party. She lives in anchorage with her husband Nikki and their 5 children Kelly welcome back to the podcast great to have you as always. Alaska has a well, a little bit of a different primary system than the other states. So maybe I can start by asking you to spell out this kind of ranked voter system that is going to be an effect today. It's not so much one party against another. As I understand it, a pool of candidates in a single pool talk about that and how it's different than everybody else. It's great to be with you and thanks for having me. The fact is this is our first time going through this system. Project veritas just recently exposed that it was Lisa Murkowski colluding with her campaign staff to deceive alaskans and put it on the ballot in 2020 in order to manipulate our election system so that she would have some kind of a chance of maintaining the 41 year markowski monarchy that we've had in place in Alaska. And this is the only way she could do it. Otherwise she would never survive a regular party primary.

Arizona's Blake Masters Discusses the 'Inflation Reduction(?) Act'

"Masters here running for Senate in Arizona, he's the Republican nominee. 87,000 new IRS agents in the midst of a recession, Mark Kelly cast one of the deciding votes your thoughts. The so called inflation reduction act, right? Which is so orwellian. Anytime the Democrats say, oh, it's inflation reduction act. You know it's going to do the opposite, which is what this thing's going to do. So yeah, they're dumb enough to decide to raise taxes on hardworking Americans in the middle of a recession. And then that wasn't enough. No, they voted to hire 87,000 new IRS agents. There's only like 70,000 already. So this is more than doubles the size of the IRS. You saw the job posting, right? Some of these people have to be willing to carry a gun and use lethal force if necessary. It's like, why are we arming the IRS? That's right. To go use lethal force against people. Apparently Mark Kelly loves that. And you know what really gets me? In the voter Rama, the amendment process. Some Republican senators said, hey, fine, you want to hire the 87,000 IRS agents? First, you have to hire 20,000 border patrol agents. Yes. Mark Kelly rejected that. He literally said no to 20,000 more border patrol agents who we desperately need. And

"Different issues kind of going towards your campaign. Let's talk about the significance of Arizona, though, because if we don't do well in this November in Arizona, I mean it could spell doom for the state. The country. Yeah, talk about that. I mean, I know it sounds highly suspect because I'm running, but I think my race is the most important race in the country. We can not afford to lose another border state to a socialist. Look at California, look what's going on in New Mexico. We've got to hold this state and hold it tight, and we need someone who's going to be tough on the border. That's why I believe one of the reasons that I won the primary. I had a border plan. I have a border plan that is going to be the most aggressive bold border plan that this country has ever seen. We're going to start implementing it on day one. And we can't get a Katie Hobbs in there because she's an open borders person. She's an open borders globalist. And she has no desire to close that border and stop the drugs from coming over. Scares the heck out of me. I think arizonans are onto it and I think they're going to vote like their lives depend on it because frankly our country depends on it. And that's why we get donations from out of state Charlie. I am the governor of Arizona. I will be the governor of Arizona, but this governorship is really almost the governor of other states. That's the beachhead for so many other states. Because the border problem impacts every other state. And you know, if you're in North Carolina, your governor might care about the border, but he can't do he or she can't do anything about it. Because they're not on the border. It's going to take the border governor of Arizona. Yeah, I agree with that. I mean, Katie Hobbs would be the worst governor. The worst governor certainly that Arizona has ever seen, probably one of the worst governors in the whole country. And vote for Kerry Lake, donate to Kerry Lake, my gosh, like we can not afford Katie Hobbs and we need you badly. So I agree your race is crucial. I'm biased. I think my race is pretty important too. But they're both really important. My advice to both of them is just run jointly because your voters are all the same and your appeal is the same. Go ahead really quick. And Lake and Blake. I mean, come on. So good. But Arizona is going to determine who the 51st vote is in the United States Senate, right?

It really is a stark contrast. And look, you say it'll be too late in the next election. There are a lot of us that are looking at the actual X's and O's and wondering if it isn't too late already. I mean, the amount of damage that could still be done if people don't show up this November and stop the Congress in the Senate from being allies to the current White House resident. I've never seen a campaign like it ever. Yeah, well, you know, we're just trying to be bold and innovative. I guess it's very simple though, so it's like why? Why don't more people just do that? Like obviously the whole point of a campaign shirt is to be a walking billboard. But everybody tries to make it cute and the consultants will tell you if you don't have like a logo silhouette of Arizona with a nice sun setting behind the state. Well, you're gonna lose. "Contrary to the media narrative that pushes a polarized split on the issues, here's what I've seen. Last night, Politico hosted regulating the digital gold rush with senator lummis and senator gillibrand. Lots of folks know lummis has bona fides on crypto. Adding gillibrand to the mix with the goal of creating a pro innovation regulatory framework is a big deal. The New York House delegation is involved too. If you haven't read representative Richie's op-ed making the liberal case for crypto, please do. This isn't some pie in the sky vision for a progressive Paradise. These are real solutions to problems being developed right now. There's healthy legislative bipartisanship in the house too. Last week, representative Tom emmer led a group of four Republicans and four Democrats and sending a letter to the SEC, imploring the agency to not stifle innovation by imposing onerous reporting requirements on crypto companies. After Biden's crypto executive order were keeping an even closer eye on the federal agencies and regulatory bodies. That's why I was happy to see this reserve but bullish by government standards remark from senator Yellen this morning. Kristen is here referring to senator Yellen's appearance on CNBC where she said, I have a little bit of skepticism. On the other hand, there are benefits from crypto and we recognize innovation in the payment system can be a healthy thing. Back to Kristen's thread. And I know many in the crypto community are frustrated by the media's point of view, but the coverage is on average improving and increasing. You can have issues with how they approached it, but it's meaningful that The New York Times dedicated an entire section to crypto. These good examples do not mean that crypto enjoys diamond plated support across the political spectrum. It does mean that those who want to learn engage support are finding the lanes to do so. "And those events again are highlighting The the work that they're doing again in support of their constituents so very very busy schedule Every senators got scheduler who of sometimes several schedulers who are coordinating where they're supposed to be at any given moment and it's very very it's a it's a lot they also travel back and forth right. So for example senator heinrich will be in dc and then he'll come and spend some time in new mexico and when he's in new mexico he's doing things like again meeting with groups here relating to us a specific topic or he's visiting A national forest or he is again to highlight specific issues. So it's it's a. It's a very busy busy life. They work very very hard. What is your favorite thing about. Working for senator heinrich. Well my favorite thing. About working for senator heinrich a couple of them one is that i really believe in senator heinrich. I really believe in in who he is and how. He's trying to represent our interest in in new mexico and how he's really trying to serve the people of new mexico Secondly just love the team that he has assembled with our state director. Edward tablet cabello and our chief of staff rebecca evita and all these amazing colleagues that i work with in new mexico and also in. Rdc offices and then my favorite favorite thing is getting to feel like i am helping to represent The people that i love in the state and the state that i love so much and helping to make sure that That the laws and the resources that are getting passed in the senate are having the most positive impact possible on the people of new mexico. "My cell phone. So i understand that the rio grande water levels are dropping in the rio grande is a pretty big water source for new mexico. What land of action are we going to take on this problem. It's a great question. Maya the the some of the things that are driving that are the climate issues that we face right and so we really need to fix climate change We ignored it for far too long. And we need to fix it always still can and while we still have the kinds of flow is in the rio grande and in other rivers around the state. Like the paco's nikola that we have we can also do things that improve the predictability of of of that water like managing are worse better and our national forests tend to be higher elevation in are an important part of how we store that water from snow in the wintertime and make sure that it releases for a long period of time and not just all of it melts all at once in how we how we manage our forests really matters for that we also have some existing reservoirs that can be part of that solution to in terms of how we store water. In one of the things. I'm really interested in is the potential for more water storage. That's done rather than like a reservoir where you have a whole surface evaporating water all the time. But the storage of water underground where it doesn't evaporate and weaken us more of that water to keep the river wet over time So all those things together plus all of us using water more effectively you know. Conserving water both in cities but also in agriculture because agriculture really uses most of the water that comes out of the rio grande. All of those things can add up to keeping the river itself. Wet and and alive. We have time for just a couple more questions up in new mexico flow. Let you met sekine zwar all kinds of different ways one way is to do a show like this and you know for you or your friends to tell me what you care about one way is that i get an enormous amount of email of people. Call my office every day. They write me letters. When i go to an event in the state especially when we're not quite as under as many public health restrictions as we have right now people are you know will come up to me. And say hey. It's really important to me that this happened or that you do this and it happens in the grocery store all the time so there are lots of different ways and different people communicate in different ways. So it's important for me to gather that information from a lot of different sources and make sure that those lines of communication are open for for different kinds of people. What would be your advice on how he can do our noting to solve the problem of climate change. I think the key is to realize how much influence you really have. You know you go to school. Can you get solar panels on your school or can you get your school to think about when we get around a replacing the windows making sure their energy efficient doing things like that in your own home when you your parents you know. The the water heater dies. Every one of the water heaters that has been around. Many of houses that i lived in was a natural gas. Water heater i just replaced natural gas water heater with something called an electric. Keep up not only way more efficient. But i'm not burning gas in my house anymore. So it's way healthier for indoor air quality so there are all these little ways that can add up and then if if it's the issue that really drives you to get up in the morning and try to make change Think about how you can either go into a field where you could invent that new technology or install that new technology or run for public office and try to set policy. That accelerates how fast we deal with these challenges senator heinrich. Is there anything you would like to leave us with. I know the you're very active. And you are inspiring kids. What kind of message do you wish. Kids heard from their senators know. I think one of the things that's really important for kids across the country to realize is that with all the challenges we have in this country. You can still set your sights on something you want to accomplish. That seems kind of outlandish and still get it done you know. I grew up with two parents who did not finish college. A mom who didn't finish high school And they helped be go to college. Becoming united states senator You know there are all kinds of things that are available to us in this country. That many people around the world would really love to have those opportunities and so follow the things that you love. Set your sights hot and know that you can make a difference in the things that you care about. Good advice from new. Mexico's senior. Senator martin heinrich senator heinrich thank you so much for being with us on the children's hour. Today there was a lot of fun. Thanks everybody coming up. we're going to hear from zen. "From schoolhouse rock the vote. That's three ring government with the roots in jazzy fastness. Thanks so much to then novice. They have a lot more coming up for us on the show about the senate and while you were listening to them you also heard coetze and you heard mellow see. Little was before zana nominee ask while i am very excited to have back with us on the children's our our own new mexico. Senator martin heinrich welcome. Back to the children's hour. Senator heinrich it's great to be here senator. You have been serving the state of new mexico since twenty thirteen. That makes you our senior senator now and you serve on a number of committees including the money. Spending committee appropriations intelligence committee as well as the natural resources committee and the armed services committee and today on the show. I know the kids. And i we really excited to talk with you about some of the things you've been doing in particular to address climate change but the questions could be all over the map. This is the children's hour usually these. These questions are harder than the ones that get from. Cnn so we'll try to live up to that. I'm gonna give you it easy first question. Can you quickly describe the difference between being a senator and being in the house of representatives. You've been both the house and senate have sort of different jobs in that. Both of them approved the laws that become national laws federal laws but the senate has additional duties including a approving the cabinet members of of new president approving judges that That serve at the federal level or even on the supreme court. So it's it's a little bit of of everything and you specialize a bit in that. Every senator sits on specific committees where you get deeper into the details of things. In addition to voting on the laws. I sit on for example. The energy and natural resources committee that sets a lot of policy of revenue energy and climate. It's also a committee that does a lot of policy around our public lands and new mexico has so many harksen forests and other public lands. That that's really important work as well. Why you do for our state well. I tried to advocate for our state. And make sure that we're able to address some of the needs that our state has that are different from other states. We have things in our state like Like cindy national labs and there are lots of states that don't have initial lab We have a lot of national parks of public lands. Lot of states back east. That don't necessarily have those things. We have whole. Tribal sovereign nations insider state when many eastern states. Don't have a tribal governments today. So i try to work on those things to make sure that things that maybe not everybody would be looking out for in in washington. Dc that the things that are important to new mexicans get attention that they deserve. What do you like most about your job. I think the thing. I like most is when i'm able to accomplish something that's really important to people in new mexico and sometimes it's hard to do that like changing laws is in hard But the people that come up to you afterwards who in one way or another have benefited from that and tell you stories That's that's really probably one of the greatest things about this job is being stopped in the grocery store for somebody to talk about something that was really important to them. We're talking with us. Senator martin heinrich. He is representing the state of new mexico in the united states. Congress in the senate and today's show we're talking about the us senate to learn how it works from people who actually work there. Senator heinrich we are gonna come back and talk to you. More about climate change and the efforts. You are making to address this incredibly critical issue. The kids are worried about the meantime. You're listening.

"Bet you at least heard of the us senate after all. It's pretty important but do you know what it is or how does it even work. Well as senate is of the. Us congress it has been around since seventeen eighty nine and has exactly one hundred members to members for each one of the fifty states. The us the people who work in the senate or call us senators not to be confused with state senators. Who will talk about in a moment. That's nice all you may be thinking. But what does the senate it's senators do. And in that question. My friends is where it gets interesting the. Us senate is all about making important decisions not little decisions like what sweater to where or how much ice cream to eat. Even though those can be really good to think about the senate can make decisions on passing laws voting in supreme court justices and even things like treaties involving other countries for the passing of laws and other matters that need to be voted on. The senate need sixty votes in order for something to pass. However when approving us supreme court justices and presidential nominees a simple majority of fifty one votes is enough to pass the roped when passing laws. The us senate actually needs to work together with the second part of the us congress. The us house of representatives both the us senate in the us house of representatives can come up with proposed laws also known as bills to be voted upon depending on which side of the us congress. A bill starts in the other side will then have the final vote on whether it becomes an actual law the us senate is considered the higher chamber and the house of representatives is the lower chamber one of the reasons this is so is because the senate has a little bit more freedom having unlimited debate time and is able to work with other countries.

"Because i i've been to many of his events seen him speak many many times and you know some reporters in texas now started to ask me and others always ask me like what's what's the is professional wrestling if you ever watch it. He's doing professional wrestling. Promos as political theater where you know he used to. He did a bit about taking a steel chair to the establishment itself. I mean it was. It was that like brazen. It wasn't even sort of subverted in their no it was. It was quite quite literally literally beating people over the head with these metaphors up and one of the things that happens in professional wrestling is if you have a gimmick in a certain area or territory whenever and it's not working you leave and you totally reinvent this new character to be somewhere else and i think that's what happened. We've never seen somebody to be so thorough on. The professional wrestling is exactly like politics. Sort of gimmick and that. And that's really what it is. Egypt he just got a new gimmick nia a new venue for it and and who knows you know if this doesn't work out there's plenty of other states in the union. There's plenty of other elections that every two years. It happens every two years so there are so. We have not heard the last dan road. Amer in on your point to your point in terms of his electoral performance. He didn't embarrass himself. You know When he ran for state senate in twenty eighteen he lost to a former member of the assembly who was Sort sort of neutrally regarded but he beat a former state senator Who who was sort of an inconsequential a state senator but nonetheless a name that people knew in nevada. He beat her to to come in second in that republican primary in two thousand eighteen and then in twenty twenty. He beat a field of candidates that included a former statewide elected official to win the nomination. So it's not like he is completely ridiculous and You know loses all the time and makes a fool so he actually has a record of winning certain primaries and so you know that he does have something to go on whether or not he should have may be stayed in nevada in run for another office and then sort of tried to build on that i think is another thing but i think you know i agree with you. I think he realized okay. Well i've tried twice once in a small district once in a larger district probably opposite of out should have been People are buying it here. Maybe it's time to move on to somewhere else and and this special election Sort of a gimme right. It's like the space between spaces. You know the twenty twenty ran than twenty twenty two loses this one he can still start gearing up for twenty twenty two and see what happens then so maybe someday we will see dan big. Dan wrote emmer in the congress of the united states. And if we do the plaque outside his office. I really hope has big. Dan in in quotation marks From whatever stadium prepar well. "Ran for seneca's he'd have a very good chance in the general very very popular. Oh yeah no he would be the it would be the would be the goal of the unicorn candidate golden. Yeah it's this weird. It's weird dichotomy between primary politics and general election politics that you see in these racist that is very very interesting and obviously it is extremely early. they're definitely check out the story. There's plenty to close out of the one thing about santa ball was that he proved he could win in primaries and generals in he did so with the the opprobrium of the republican base I don't think i saw brian. Sandoval wants a republican convention in this state the whole time he was governor. I saw lieutenant governors. I saw congress members. I saw others. I never saw sandoval there. He just basically ignored me party. And bypassed it and I it didn't hurt him. It didn't hurt him because there were crossover republican votes. I'm sorry crossover democrat votes. That helped him out. So i think he is one of those rare people who if he decided to get into the race for senate would would be able to win a primary and And would be able to defeat laxa although that would be that would be kind of an interesting thing to watch how he would go about doing net but as you said i think his response is absolutely right on. He didn't have any interest in going to washington. Dc when he was serving as governor He served in all branches of nevada government. But i don't think he has even the slightest bit of interest in leaving. he loves the job. A you are He's one that job for a long time. And i don't think he is inclined to go absolutely anywhere now that he's he's got it so yeah so. I don't think we're going to be saying brian. Santa claus name on a ballot wanted to end on a little bit of a lighter note. We talked a couple episodes ago couple of weeks ago about the possibility reported that there was a possibility that dan road aymer who challenged suzy. Lee in the most recent album in nevada district as a republican had moved to texas and was planning to run for congress in texas there was a congressman here in texas who passed away and he dan road. I is a very large primary field that it also includes the congressman's widow who is the favourite to win that race And basically he put forth one of his i. What's becoming a signature. Sort of style of ad out. That was that was pretty widely mocked and ridiculed. I would say did see republicans even like i figure i think it was actually congressman matt gates. Who had himself a very interesting week..

"They could get crossover votes. And each one has something You know mark hutchinson was the lawyer for those from two thousand seven. Two thousand eighteen recalls. That's kind of a black mark With him amway the congressional record and of course you know there's tons of stuff that you can deploy against day you know he you could say he talked a good game but voted with trump voted not to impeach trump. A couple of times and all that Ben key kaffir. I think it would be a great republican statewide candidate. He would have to spend a lot of money to improve his name. Recognition in other parts of the state. Same with heidi ganster. There're all the the problem with all for all those people is not generally it is. The primary is getting over that that big mountain climbing the everest. That is the republican primary. After that. it's it's. I'm not going say off down here because this is going to be a fairly formidable candidate. I think it is on ride. His gonna raise money. He's going to have a things that he did that That i think you can point to. He can point to that justifies reelection and so but they would be good. it would be good candidates. They would be good candidates. The problem for republicans is what happens if they nominee. I don't see on this list. We'll talk about senate second but the name adam lack laxa or a similar name does not appear on this list. And if there was an atom lack salt that person would be the favourite to win the primary. Let's just be honest about Adam lack laxa won the primary He by default. Nobody even decided to run against him because everybody in nevada knew that he was going to appeal to that. That party base now. I think his image has been shattered a little bit. I think he's been shown to a little bit to be a paper tiger after his performance against his lack which was abysmal. It was one of the worst campaigns. I think i've ever seen and certainly the worst campaign for governor in the state of nevada that i've seen since i've been covering in that's been going back a number of years so So someone like that. If there was a person who could excite the trump base who was a better candidate. And i don't know who this person might be that person i think would win a primary and so all of these folks talking amongst themselves is good. They've got to watch out for that x. factor though in and what who who that factor might be going forward. And i think that that could really be a problem in the primary but the general i is a completely different animal and and i think you know we've seen it before in two thousand ten Jim gibbons was running for a second term. And rory reid. The son of the senator Was the clark county commission chairman and he was running for governor against Against gibbons and some wise republicans in the state of nevada realized. Look we're gonna lose. We will lose jim. Gibbons he's too far to the right he has been a not a good governor. "Apt he so he such a believer in the way you know. The trump really isn't a believer in anything other than trump. You know he believes himself. Love Bolton really believes Bolton really you know if he were still there he liked the idea of starting a war it is that he's that kind of shall we say thinker but he's he's also here's an here's kind of the interesting thing about true believers they have a conscience they check in with their conscience of interest to see if what they believe in is right or wrong and and the way they're going to go about the things they believe in is to remain true to themselves true to their principles true into their conscience and John Bolton is the kind of individual who if testifying I believe would would not perjure himself in addition to that he I think at this point. It's pretty much confirmed. He hates Donald Trump. He's onto the phoniness unison. The whole thing he knows that trump is not a true believer. He knows that trump is not a Christian. He knows that trump trump will do whatever is best for trump. I'm trump will get into bed with Kim North Korea if it benefited. Donald Trump Bolton knows that and despises trump for this and of of course trump knew that that Bolton was not a real loyalist bolt was loyal to his beliefs. Not to the man from Fifth Avenue and so he fired Bolton he got rid of Bolton this past year if Bolton is to testify what has to happen Panetta says that the prosecutor the Democratic Prosecutor from the House. 'cause remember the house issues the indictment and so they have to try the case in the Senate so whoever they send over from the house whether it's chef or or whoever Pelosi herself they they have to ask Bolton won a simple question you're aware that the whistleblower informed us and the public take that this phone call with the Ukrainian president the notes of the call. The call itself all that after the call was over. You you people in the room people on the call new. The trump had committed a crime a crime of extortion bribery. Some would even say treason. I would say that and right away. Certain people knew that they had to hide all evidence of this call. And that's exactly what they did. They took they took the notes. The call that whatever they had regarding the call and they put it on a highly secure national security computer server in the White House that very few people have access to they knew they had the protect trump because because of word ever got out that he was extorting the president of another country in order to dig up dirt on his potential Democratic opponent. That could be the end of trump. And so they hit it. And the only reason we know about it is because the whistle blower new they added the whistleblower knew who hit only certain people have have access to the server if you go back to the beginning when trump took office and the national security apparatus would not give security clearance. To his son-in-law jared would not give security clearance to Abandoning Steve Miller Stephen Miller and the all these crazies that trump brought him with him the CIA and the NSA said no no. They don't get access but because the president the United States is the chief executive. He is the boss he gets to decide and he gets to go against what his advisors and his national security the people are telling him to do and that's exactly what he did and he gave security clearance to his daughter and his son in law and Stephen Miller and you know his true loyal hardcore people. So I'm guessing that means that they had access because they had the full security clearance the trump gave them they had access to the server. Is that possible. They could put things on the server. They could take things off the server their job as they knew it and it still is today is to protect Donald J trump and they were gonna get away with it they were ever would have known because no reporter. Nobody ain't nobody could have hacked or we could have really gotten into this server to find out if we didn't have the whistle blower but then we found out in here. This is what makes John John Bolton so dangerous. My friends listening to me right now. I WanNa ask you a question. Do you think that in the first three years of the trump administration that the Ukrainian phone call was the only thing put on in hidden in in the national security server in the White House. Do you think that's the only time trump broke the law. Did something he shouldn't have done. Said something something he shouldn't have said that's the only time it happened. Where his closest most loyal people? His family didn't say to themselves after after a phone call after a meeting after something they saw trump do holy shit put that on the server to you and I know and I I sorta got if there the Republicans in your family you you could ask I think. Even if they were honest they would they would say okay. That's the Ukrainian phone call that that is not the only only thing in three years. Where trump did something questionable trump did something illegal? Trump did something that would put his whole administration nation in jeopardy. You think that's the only time of course it isn't. My guess is that it happened over and over and over again where they've had the cover up for him and that information is on that server not just the Ukraine phone call but all the other things we don't know about and Bolton knows it the question to Bolton on the witness stand sir. Were you present at any other events other than the Ukrainian phone call where you witnessed the president. The United States take questionable action. Saturday did things that were potentially illegal. Yes I was there for that. Do you know if if the evidence of his activities was placed on this same secret server that the Ukrainian phone call was placed on. Yes I I believe it was. Do you think that in the two years before you had your job that you had before you were fired. They had you heard that other things have been placed on the server. Yes I heard of those things to. Would you mind telling us what some of those does things are. Well well my friends at that moment. Hopefully you will have set your. DVR You'll be at work you'll be at school. You'll be asleep when he tells us that. The Ukraine call was kindergarten that there are these things took place and when the American public. Here's these other things. Whatever they are I swear to God people people are going to have had it? Republicans are GonNa have had it. Republican senators are going to realize at that moment when they hear you're one treasonous illegal activity after another that has taken place in these last three years. The rats are going to jump from the ship. You're going to have your twenty Republicans very possible. You'RE GONNA have ten Republicans who just to save. Save their own ass are going to say sorry. This is a bridge too far for me because there's already five right now. Five five to seven Republicans. Republicans up this year for re election that may not be reelected as a result of what's been going on there struggling to save their seats and the the senators who are not up this year. They're open twenty twenty two and twenty twenty four all of them. We only need ten only ten of them and then we need need another ten. Republicans are I don't know how to refer. Let's call them well. Let's call them. People of faith either religious faith or they operate operate from their conscience like like Bolton like Bolton will not perjure himself bulletin will not go to jail protecting donald trump. It's lasting last thing a true believer like him is going to do. But you've got the Mitt Romney's you've got you know a devout Mormon who is offended by trump. You do you think there's nine other Republicans you know real hardcore Christian Republicans and that fake Christian. I mean they really believe how disgusted you think. They are with trump and his behavior and the way he talks an ex his view of women. What do you think they if they could if they could see him go? Do you think if they could save the Republican party to them putting in one of their own true believers Mike Pence. It's possible isn't it. If what they hear on that server beyond the Ukraine call is is just too much for them to take you'll need twenty Republicans trump can keep the majority of the Republicans there's fifty three Republicans in the Senate. He can keep thirty three of them and still still be convicted and removed from office just twenty Republicans half of them for their own religious reasons and half of them because they want to save their ass and save their Senate career save their seek get reelected. I know I know what the possibilities are again. I'm I'm not going to Vegas for the ads on this. But what if what people they after they will have to subpoena that server now. Of course they're not going to give up that server. They're going to New Orleans subpoena like every other subpoena except now this trial in place and it may end up in the courts and the Supreme Court may somehow allow him to not. You know they'll call it a national security thing. But what if what if this happens instead of going to the courts with the Subpoena Pena you actually have the court sitting up there in the main chair in the Senate the judge who presides over the trial of Donald J trump trump is none other than the chief justice of the United States. Supreme Court. John Roberts what if it's up to him Oh. This is very frightening to trump into Republicans. Because trump knows that roberts though a conservative is not a loyalist to the trump regime. In in fact Roberts has broken with the conservative majority on the court to vote with the liberals a number of times in the last few two years most notably when obamacare made it all the way to the Supreme Court and the Republicans were certain now with their conservatives on the court that this would end obamacare by taking the individual mandate out of the out of the law that would essentially kill obamacare her and the day that the ruling was issued. It came out five to four in favor of obamacare. What happened?.

Donald Trump Bolton Donald J trump Donald Trump Trump Senate president Ukraine United States White House Supreme Court John Roberts Stephen Miller Kim obamacare Korea New Orleans Mitt Romney Republican party extortion
